Good morning, good afternoon, good evening all around the world.
I'm Cynthia Terry, president of Shabbach Ministries and today is Shabbach Ministries Day. We are so excited about the work that we're doing in the community. But before we get there, I would like to introduce to you Miss Latricia Laughlin [laughter] family. Again, greetings to you. Happy Sunday. You all excited?
We are excited. Of course, we're always excited about coming into worship, but super excited today because we have the honor and the pleasure to work with Shabbach Ministries. And if you don't know what Shabbach is, don't you worry. Don't you worry, cuz we're going to tell you all about it.
But before we talk about Shabbach day, first we need to run it back. ((music playing)) >> ((applause)) >> I know. ((music playing)) >> Come on, say, "But I know." >> But I know he'll be right. >> Yeah. I believe ((music playing)) it. But I know. >> But I know. ((music playing)) And yet, what are you going to do?
Paul and Silas, in the midst of their circumstances, worship God. ((applause)) Oh, I I feel a shout right there. Somebody better pray. Lord, help me to be sold out to you and love you enough that if I get fired from my job, if I get talked about, if I get criticized, if all my friends turn their back on me, I will still love you.
I will still worship you. I will still give you the praise and the honor. Do we have anybody here who says I am in that camp? ((music playing)) Oh, as always, we have a such an amazing, glorious time in worship. The choir was doing their good, good singing. You heard that, right, y'all?
[laughter] >> And then also pastor's message, a moment of crisis. All of us have a time when we experience that moment of crisis. What? >> Yes, we do. Absolutely. Yes. And you have to know what to do when you're walking through that moment of crisis. And we're so grateful that we have a shepherd that is allow uh that's gifted and anointed to walk us through every every season, right? >> Yes.
And there were so many nuggets during that moment last week. For me, it was if God has something that he's prophesizing over us, he's not going to send it to someone else. And when it gets to you, it's going to confirm something he's already told. >> Told you.
A lot of times people say, "Well, God told me this for you." Well, guess what? He talks to me directly, too. >> Yes. We have a direct line. >> Exactly. >> Isn't that good? >> That's good. That's good. [laughter] >> So, we've had we thank our shepherd always for, you know, the word that he gives us.
So, speaking of, we want to know who's worshiping with us, right? >> Yes. >> So, put in the chat where you worshiping from. Oh, Reverend Terry, we got some good things over here. You got the international. Who you want to shout out? >> I want to shout out Bise. >> Oh my goodness.
Biz, Portugal, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Japan. >> She No, I [laughter] won't go there. Barbados. Wonderful. Wonderful. >> Yes, we love it. And then on the state side, Florida, Oklahoma, South Carolina, New Jersey, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, New York, Texas, Alabama, Missouri. Oh, they still coming in. Minnesota, California, Michigan, North Carolina.
Come on in the room, as they say. Come on in the room. And since the device is in your hand, come on, spread that good news and tell somebody to worship with us. Now, today is special. Not just because of Shabbach day, but the queen is celebrating her birthday today.
OC community, your very own OC pastor, the Reverend KD [screaming] is celebrating her birthday today. Let's see if we can get her to come on over and give a hug. Oh, she's looking fabulous. >> She's always fabulous. Can shout her out. Shout out. Happy [screaming] birthday. >> It's your birthday. >> We need some hats.
Hey. Hey. Hey. So, happy birthday to our amazing OC online campus pastor, none other than the Reverend Katie. >> Oh my goodness. >> So, today's a good day. Pastor Katie's birthday, Shabbach Day. And tell them for somebody who doesn't even know what Shabbach is. Shabbach is the nonprofit of the First Baptist Church of Glenn Arden and we're celebrating our 30th year this year and I'm celebrating my 20th year that God has blessed me to lead the organization.
Absolutely. Praise our God. >> So you guys stay tuned. You'll find out more about Shabbach Shabbach Ministries doing this service. We love you. Let's have church. God bless you. >> It is a good thing to give thanks to ((music playing)) the Lord and to bless his name. Can we give Jesus a praise this morning?
Hallelujah to Jesus. Won't you help me lift Jesus this morning? Hallelujah to Jesus. Hallelujah. Listen to me. This week I had a conversation with one of my confidants and we were discussing how sometimes it's very hard to get into a place of praise and prayer. And what we've resolved is that the day we're living in, the time that we're living in, we're in the middle of warfare.
And the enemy will try to silence your praise. But the Bible says that everything that is breathing has the responsibility of creating praise. Can you put a praise in your mouth and release it to Jesus? Come on, ((music playing)) let's make the devil a liar in this sanctuary. I need help this morning.
I need you ((music playing)) to help me lift Jesus. Come on, lift your voice to him today and sound the alarm on the holy mountain. Make his ((music playing)) praise glorious. I dare you to praise Jesus this morning. I dare you to praise him. I dare you ((music playing)) to thank him. I dare you to glorify him.
I dare you. I dare you. I dare you lift Jesus. ((music playing)) Won't you help me lift him? Won't you help me lift him? He's been so faithful. He's been so kind. You got to tell him something. Where the grateful people at? Where the grateful people ((music playing)) at? Anybody grateful today?
Hallelujah. Come on, lift ((music playing)) him. Lift him. Lift him. Lift him. Lift him. Lift him. Lift him. Hallelujah. He wants to save today. ((music playing)) He wants to heal today. He wants to set free today. Lift him. Lift him. Hallelujah. Still he speaks from eternity. Come on. Lift ((music playing)) him. Lift him.
Lift him. Come on. Lift him. Lift him. Lift him. Hallelujah. ((music playing)) Glory to Jesus for being a mind keeper. Hallelujah. For regulating your health. Hallelujah. Glory. Glory. For making ways for you. Opening doors for you. ((music playing)) Come on, beloved. Lift Jesus today. Lift Jesus today. That's what we're here for.
That's what we're ((music playing)) here for. Got up, got dressed, got the car. We're here to lift him. We're here to lift him. We're here to lift him. ((music playing)) Glory. Glory. Glory. I need somebody to help me today. Lift Jesus. ((music playing)) Lift Jesus. Tell him thank you. Tell him how much you love him.
Tell him how much you appreciate him. I ((music playing)) dare you to make the devil a liar today and make the praise of Jesus glorious. Make the praise of Jesus glorious. Hallelujah. He's a ((music playing)) mighty God. Yes, sir. He's a mighty God. Yes, sir. He's a mighty ((music playing)) God. Angels bow and sore.
Glory to God. Heaven and earth adore him. We serve a mighty God. ((music playing)) Yes, sir. We serve a mighty God. ((music playing)) Can I get a witness in here? We serve a mighty God. Woo. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, ((music playing)) Jesus. Father, we give you praise in the sanctuary for your loving kindness and your tender mercies.
And we will not let a rock cry out for us. You've been too good and you've been too kind. Father, we invite you into this sanctuary experience to move by your power. Stand strong in our pastor. Let the word of his mouth and meditation of his heart be acceptable to you.
Break chains and destroy yolks. In the name of the Lord Jesus, ((music playing)) we give you praise and we give you glory and we celebrate you. In the name of Jesus, this is our prayer. Can you just shout to the Lord all across the sanctuary? ((music playing)) Can you just shout to the Lord all across the sanctuary?
Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Let's lift him today. ((music playing)) It's our responsibility. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. ((music playing)) >> Come on. Jehovah. Jehovah. Hello everyone, I'm Cynthia Terry and today is Shabbach Ministries Day. Praise our God. Hallelujah. Shabbach means a resounding shout of praise unto the Lord. And that's what we're doing today because this year is Shabbach's 30th anniversary. Woo. And I know I know you won't believe this, but it's also my 20th anniversary.
Come on now. I know you don't believe it. I know I don't look like it. Don't play. Okay. Our 20th anniversary. And we're continually praising God because every year he's opening doors and doing amazing things so that we can bless the people. And those are the heart. This is the heart of our leadership that if this church went away, people would be crying.
So last year we blessed over 165,000 households. At the beginning of the year, there were two families per household, but by the end of the year, there were three families per household because the need grew. Also, they were blessed with over a quarter of a million bags of groceries.
Amen. But we didn't stop there because we just don't want to help them on that end. We would love to see them gainfully employed so that they can turn around and help somebody else. So, we had over 500 people in our career services division. I didn't do that alone.
The person in charge of our Shabbach emergency resource center is Miss Gwindelyn. Wait a minute. [laughter] Alfreda Mackey Pope. And in charge of our career services is Miss Latricia Loftton, Pastor Jenkins, First Lady, elders, leaders, we praise God for your support over the years. Without you, our doors would have been closed a long time ago.
I also just want to pause for a m moment and thank our board members. We have a board member that is with us this morning because he's an early riser. And we have a board member that's up in the We have our board. Can you thank our board members?
Our board members really support us. So, we are so grateful again for all that God has done in and through us. And right now we just have a really quick video ((music playing)) just humorously showing you exactly who does the real work. Our volunteers hearts on fire [music and singing] rising joy we got to sing.
This is ((music playing)) [singing] >> Hello everyone. I'm Cynthia Terry and this is Shabbach Live. Thank you for joining us because this is Shabbach's 30th anniversary and it's Shabbach Ministries Day. I have a special guest here with us today and she used to work for Shabbach. Her name ((music playing)) is Reverend W.
Nikki Pearson, thank you so much. >> It's a pleasure to be here. >> Oh, I know how busy you are. I'm just so excited that you had an opportunity to stop by. So, we could just talk a little bit about what you've done, what you did with Shabbach when you were with us and things that you're continuing to do to love and serve the community.
We've got a lot of people that are are homeless, a lot of people who don't have food money to purchase food and and utilities are astronomical. And so the the role that I play now at First Baptist Church of Glenn Arden still connects with the community and Shabbach because we refer people back to Shabbach to the pantry.
Anybody who's in need, if you come to the empowerment center, if you come to the church, we're going to try to meet that need. But if we can't meet the need at the church, we certainly refer them to Shabbach. But then we've got our community um partners as well.
So it's a community effort still. >> Now this next segment I call the sound of victory. >> The sound of victory. >> The sound of victory. >> Hello everyone. My name is Barbara Holtzer. My first job here at First Baptist Church of Glenn Art was with Shabbach. I was the director of fund development.
I was the one that had to help raise funds for Shabbat and we did that through the golf tournament. We hosted the first golf tournament and we hosted the first gayla. The first gayla we had Melba Moore. Can you believe it? And now 30 years later, I am making even a larger impact because you gave me an opportunity.
We are now global from the community to the county ((music playing)) to the country to all of the continents because of Shabbach. Thank you for allowing me ((music playing)) to be part of the Shabbach family. >> Shabbach wouldn't have been able to exist as long as it has 30 years without faithful volunteers.
Please join me in welcoming Mother Zarita Young. We are so happy to have you join us. >> I'm so glad to be here. >> So, if you could tell me one of the greatest experiences that you had at Shabbach, what would that be? >> When I heard the numbers that were given during our recent church meeting >> of the numbers of families that we have served in the past year. and the numbers of bags of groceries that we take the time to pack.
We're helping people >> in their time of need. >> And they don't have to feel defeated, right? >> They don't have to feel like they're asking for charity. >> They're called clients. >> Yes. Yes. >> And that's the way they're treated by our brothers and sisters. >> Thank you for joining us for this episode of Shabbach Live.
We thank all of our guests and we thank all of you. See you next time. Can we have our volunteers stand really quickly? We couldn't do what we do without our volunteers. Praise God. Can you give a shout out for our volunteers? We love you. And again, Pastor First Lady, First Baptist family, we thank you.
There should be a QR code that's coming up that you can scan to get more information about Shabbach or to give if you would like. We do not have a table out in the great hall, but you can go out there and also scan the QR code. Amen. >> Thank you.
Amen. Amen. Let's give God one more hand for Shabbach Ministries. Amen. Hallelujah. It's time now for our tithes and our offerings. Amen. Amen. And amen. First Baptist, we always want to thank you all for being such great givers. It's always because of your giving. We're able to do the things that we do within our within our church.
And what you just saw with Shabbach Ministry, it's all because of your giving. So, we thank you for giving uh so generously and we're able then to bless our church, our community, and also we we bless people all around the world. So, thank you for your giving. Please continue to give.
Uh there are several ways that you can give. You can give by going online and visiting us at fbcglennard.orggive. You can give in person with a cash or a check. You can use the envelope that's in the seat back pocket in front of you. Put your gift in there and then deposit it in one of the receptacles around the sanctuary.
And also you can mail your gift. If you choose to mail it in, you can mail it into 3600 Bright Sea Road in Landover, Maryland. So at this point, are we ready to give? >> Amen. Let's pray. Father, we thank you, God, for the opportunity to be able to give into your kingdom.
Just one more time, we thank you, Lord, for how you've blessed us, God, with the gifts to be able to give them, Lord God. And God, we give them in faith, believing, God, that is if we give, Lord God, into your house, Lord God, the Bible says that if we bring our tithes and offers into the storehouse that you open up the windows of heaven, you pour out a blessing, we would not have room enough to receive.
So God, we're giving it in faith this morning, God, please God, use it, God, to build and uplift your kingdom. It's in Jesus name that we pray. Amen. Heat. Heat. ((music playing)) >> ((music playing)) >> Praise is the Lord myer. He has ((music playing)) never failed me yet. Through all [music and singing] my trials, tribulations, he will deliver the greatest [singing and music] one.

We pray that you take these next few moments and speak to our hearts. Allow your name to get all of the glory. And anybody here who doesn't have a relationship with you, I pray that you would draw them, >> draw them to your kingdom. I pray not only for the people in this building but all over the world that are participating in this worship.
Let it be a sweet aroma in your nostrils almighty God. And we pray that souls will be saved, people reclaimed, and you get all of the glory and honor in Jesus name. Amen and amen. You can be seated. Thank you for being here today. Today I want to I want to start off by just celebrating Shabbach Ministries and 30 years of their service.
I do say often if um if a church closed down, would the community miss it? And the fact is the work that our church does in the community is impactful, powerful, lifechanging, and I'm grateful. I'm not sure what it is. Um, Steel McCall. Thank y'all. Thank y'all for being here. We're honored to have you here today and your contributions to the kingdom of being here with us here this morning.
I'mma thank the um Fellowship Corral. Thank y'all for being here this morning. Y'all look good, sound good. And we appreciate you very, very much. God bless you. All right. On this day, open your Bibles this morning. Uh I'm going to uh take these next few moments and preach from Psalm 147.
Psalm 147. I want to some of you have heard me talk before about my proclivity to be depressed. The course of my life I have fought depression but I've recognized some Psalm 47 helped me to deal with my tendencies to be down. >> Yeah. Uh, and if you just look around the world, that's enough to be depressed about right there. >> But then I I worry.
I have stress about uh challenges, problems, issues. I have uh things just in my own personal life that are uh worrisome. When I look at it, think of worry about my children, worry about the bills I have to pay. I don't know about y'all, but Bill stressed me out.
I think I got all the amens from that side over there. Um, my health. I have health challenges, >> blood pressure, uh, diabetes. >> Probably every other man in this building got the same thing at this service here today. And it's and Psalm 47 helped me. Somebody say it's helpful because in Psalm 47:12, let me start with verse 12.
It says, "Praise the Lord." It's a declarative. It's a challenge. He says, "Praise the Lord." That first word praise is a Hebrew word, Shabbach. >> Shabbach. Shabbach. Somebody say Shabbach. Shabbach. Shabbach. That's It's a Hebrew word, Shabbach. And and it means the word shabbach means to make a loud noise unto God. >> It means make a noise.
Say something. Make a declaration. It says, "Praise the Lord." It starts off telling us to praise the Lord. Uh and I I love that verse. Praise the Lord, oh Jerusalem. Then it says, "Praise your God." Now, that second word praise is a different Hebrew word, but it's been they both been translated praise.
But in verse 12, the second word praise is a word halal. It means to boast. It means to make a to brag. Let me put it that way. To brag on uh our God. That's what it means. Uh it means to uh celebrate your God. Oh, O Zion.
Zion. I'm just let let down the uh the status, the stage in verse 12. Shabbach the Lord, O Jerusalem, and praise your God, oh Zion. That word Zion means is God's dwelling place. That's what it means. God's dwelling place. And here's what he's in essence saying. Make a big noise to the Lord and make a shout unto God.
Open your mouth and give him praise and glory is what that means. But he also says uh uh when you get into Zion, halal, boast about God in when you when you uh Zion means you're in God's perfect will. You're walking in God's perfect will. You are in the place where God hangs out.
That's what Zion means. So he's telling us that no matter where you are, what your circumstances are, make a shout unto God. Zion is telling us when you get to the will of the Lord, when you walk in his will, you are in a place of being in his will and make a noise. >> And so I feel tension in the room cuz some of you might be wondering, well, why should I worship and make a a noise to the Lord?
Why should I boast in the Lord when my life is not going the way I want it to go? And this verse helped me, this passage helped me understand that God uh wants us not to wait until everything is perfect. >> Yeah. Yeah. When the sky is blue and the weather is nice and the bills are paid and everything's going well and your children are behaving and your wife is hooking you up.
When everything's well, anybody can praise the Lord. But do you have the capacity and the mindset that when you have not arrived, you recognize that he's taking you somewhere and though you might not be there now, you will get there eventually. Is there anybody here who knows he's worthy of praise even when I have not arrived at my destination?
Even even when I haven't gotten there, even when when things are not all the way going the way I wanted to go, God wants us to worship and express our gratitude to him even when things are not going well. When my oldest daughter graduated from college, I won't call Sarah's name out loud.
Uh, she got a job in Florida and my wife and I helped relocate her to Florida. We helped her get a place to live and put some money down and we um uh moved her down there. We move went down to ourselves to help her move in. And when we had moved her all in and everything was all set, we got ready to leave.
And you know what she said? Bye. I had an expectation >> that she would say, "Oh, mom and dad, thank y'all so much for taking the time out and coming down here and helping me find a place and help me move in and just to see to make sure that I was okay."
I had an expectation that she would show some kind of an expression of gratitude of what her parents had done for her. But what she said was bye. And some of you recognize God has opened some doors for you, made provisions for you, blessed you, took care of you, walked with you, delivered you, and all you have said is >> minimal gratitude, minimal expressions, and yet God has been super kind to you. >> Now, the 8:00 crowd, the 12:00 crowd might not know all of this.
What I'm telling you, they're not going to shout and say amen like y'all are. The 12:00 crowd, they're going to say, "What's wrong with Sarah saying bye?" What else she supposed to say? But this is the season crowd that's been through a few things and been without and struggled.
And you can look back over your life and see where God has brought you from. You can reflect on the doors he's opened and the miracle that he's wrought and the prayers that he's answered and how he healed your body and gave you a job and made provisions for you.
You don't [screaming] mind saying, "Thank you, Jesus." Somebody highfive your neighbor and say, "I got a reason to thank God." High five them on the other side. Oh yeah, I'm thankful. Oh yes, I bless God. Oh yes, he's made a way. Oh yes, he has done great things. He has done great things for me.
He's worthy of my praise. I don't hesitate to bless him. I don't hesitate to thank him. I don't pause to say thank you, Lord. Somebody ought to say, "I got some stuff I can thank him for ((music playing)) that you can see. And I got some stuff that he did for me that I wouldn't dare tell you what he did for me.
Anybody here know that God is worthy of more than just a nod? And so it is Psalm 147, the matter of fact specifically these three verses that highlight for me and pulls me out of my tendency to get depressed. That's right. That's right. That's right. >> When I look at this section passage of scripture, it reminds me, and I'm going to give you four four things that this verse here tells me why we should give God praise. >> He says in verse 13, "For he has strengthened the bars of your gates." >> You know what that means?
Here's point one. We can praise him for his protection. >> I wonder did anybody here know that God has protected you? >> And he has strengthened bars that you didn't even know you had around you. >> He protected you from the enemy. The devil would have taken you out.
The devil would have frustrated you. The devil would have defeated you. But God has put some protection around you. Do I got any witnesses here today to know about the protection of the God that we serve? That he makes a way for us. He protects us. >> I I'm giving him the praise that he's he's a God that protects me. >> Protected you in your car and kept you on your side of the road and that car on that side of the road. protects me. >> The devil wanted to hurt you, but he protected you. >> Hallelujah. >> Somebody say, "He strengthened the bars of my gate. >> He strength."
That's what the text says. He strengthened my bars around me. Now, I don't want you to just say, "Bye." I want you to say, "Thank you for protecting me." should have been dead. Should have been in my grave, but you protected me. Sickness tried to take me out, but you protected me.
The devil tried to frustrate me. But God, I thank you that in spite of everything the devil aimed at me, you have protected me. protection. >> That's why we can give him praise and glory and honor. That's the reason we can shabach the Lord. Oh, I forgot to tell y'all my subject.
I forgot cuz I I really didn't have one that production people said, "What's your top what's your title, pastor?" I said, "I don't have one yet." But here it is. The reason I want to praise God, that's what it is. The reason I want to shabbach the Lord, here's why I want to make a a loud noise.
Here's why I want to open my mouth is because I want to thank him >> for protecting me. >> I I want you to stop being worried about what the enemy might be trying to do to you. No weapon formed against you can prosper. Nothing that the devil aims at you can succeed.
You are a child of the most high God. Stop stop being worried. Stop being fearful. Stop carrying anxiety. Recognize he has protected you thus far. That's how you know he's capable of protecting you even further, cuz he's watched over you thus far. It could have been a lot worse.
Y'all see that lady right there? Stay. You better stand. You know you better stand back up. You know about the Stand. Yeah, that's Marilyn Wills right there. Y'all see her? Let me tell you about Marilyn Wills. Let me tell you about the protection of God. She was in a Pentec uh 911 when the plane hit the building.
She was in the section of the building that was hit. She should have been dead, but God protected her. The building was caving in and her and her co-workers crawled to the light. There was a light they saw and they crawled to the light. That light was actually a window.
And when they got to the window, they had to kick and break the window out and they crawled out of the building. God, listen. When you get in trouble, follow the light. That's all I'm trying to tell you. Follow the light. Every time I see her, she lives in Florida now, but she works for our church.
But every time I see her, I think about the protection power of the God that we serve. Somebody highfire your neighbor. Say, "Thank God for his protection. ((music playing)) Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. ((music playing)) Protection. He got your front. He got your back. He got your side. He got over top of you.
He got beneath you. The devil cannot do you any harm. We believe we serve a God who can protect you. Here's the second thing. Here's the second thing. It's right here in verse 13 again. He says, "Not only has he strengthened the bars of your gate, that's your that's your protection, but it also says he has blessed your children within you." >> I call that God.
We give him praise for our products. >> Yeah. Our product. I got my P's here today, Dr. Smith. I got my P's here today. Uh Dr. Edwards, I got my P's. Uh uh the product. And here's what I like. He he he says uh he has blessed your children >> within you. >> Yes, he has. >> Okay, y'all missed it.
Let me give it to you. uh it it means he's taking care and he is blessing not only the product that you have produced but those who are yet coming to him y'all don't get what I'm saying to you do he's he is blessing your children's children and your children's children's children y'all ain't hear what I'm saying today we serve a God who is making a promise to you that you'll seed will be blessed way past way past way past where you are.
Way past children that you've had. Way past your children. It's your children and your children's children and your children's children's children's children. Uh, I got a call from uh my wife and I was uh driving somewhere and I got a call and on the other end of the phone was one of uh one of our uh friends who was concerned that they wanted something from their father that their father didn't do.
And uh the person was mad and angry that what they asked their daddy to do that their daddy said no. So they was coming cuz their daddy's a pastor. And so they wanted to find out what I would do if I was their daddy. She's trying to pull me into this debate >> that the person is having with their father.
And I said, "Well, uh, I think your father is not so much concerned about you doing something for you. He doing something for your child." Yeah. >> Okay. Y'all missed this. Y'all missed it. >> Let me Let me help y'all out. I see I got some folk here might be upset that their daddy didn't do something for him.
The scripture says, "A godly man blesses his children's children." >> If y'all knew the Bible, y'all wouldn't y'all wouldn't know. I had to I had to point the verse out that ultimately what your father is concerned about is being a ble. Listen, you you a grown person. And I said, I said, "You grown now.
You on your own. Your father is thinking about how to help your child. Your ch his grandchild and his grandchildren's children." Y'all ain't hear what I'm saying today. Yeah. Yeah. That's That's what we're supposed to do. Amen. Once your kid get grown and they are no longer kids, >> you as an adult. >> Yeah.
You on your own now. But we got to look out and and that listen this is why uh this is why this is a oh y I shouldn't have went on this thing here. This is why we are not as far along the line as we should cuz we are grandparents and we're still focusing on ourselves rather than focusing on how we can help our children's children.
Yes, sir. >> Go ahead. Look at your neighbor and stop thinking about yourself. Stop spending money on you. Stop think instead of buying you a new fancy expensive car, make sure you put some money away to help your grandchildren. Help them go to college. Help them go to school.
Help them do something significant with their life. Are y'all Are y'all understand what I'm saying? God has a blessing in store for your children's children. Oh, I got freed up when that when the when the Lord showed me my children's children. >> That That's what my f Yeah, I got three of my children's children here today.
Come here, fellas. Come here. Come here. Come on. Y'all going to help me out. Hurry up. Hurry up. Come on. Yeah. Come on. This is my children's children. Yeah. I don't know about this right here, but this is Jet right here. Y'all say hello to Jet. >> This is This is Jace. >> And this is Jude. >> Jet Kenneth.
Jace Kenneth. Jude Kenneth. They all got their granddaddy's middle name. Y'all did a good job. So proud of y'all. Okay, y'all can go back. >> Barershop. Say barbershop. Barershop. That's who I'm looking out for. It's my kids. I got seven grand kids. I'm looking out for my grandkids.
You ought to be looking out for your grandkids, helping them go to school. Listen, listen, grandparents. Help your children put your grandchildren in a Christian school. Okay, let me hurry up. I see I got tension in the room. Here's the third thing God does. Here's why I praise the Lord.
Not only for my my not only for uh uh am I praising God for his protection and not only am I praising him for his product, look at verse 14, he says this, verse 14, he makes peace in your borders. >> Put a put put a put a shout on peace.
Here's the the third P. God gives me peace. Oh, I like God. When I read that verse, a calmness came over me. That we serve a God who has the capacity that when all hell is breaking loose, I got peace. Somebody said, "What's going to happen now that the president has bombed Iran?
I ain't worried. I I got peace. I I serve a God that will give me peace. It might be the start of the a war. It might be something horrible, but I'm not going to let it ruin my capacity and my ability to have the peace of God.
He's still God. I ain't listen. I don't care who the president is. God did not lower his power. Did not lower his ability. He did not change being the God that he is. He has the capacity and the ability to keep you at peace. Do I have a witness?
Anybody here? Do anybody know that we serve a God that's got power and might? Does anybody know we serve a God who's anointed? Does anybody know no weapon, no war, no fight? It doesn't matter whether the Republicans or the Democrat, it don't matter. God will give you his peace.
Praise him cuz he's a God that can surround you with peace. Even when there's confusion all around you, you got a peace on the inside. Go ahead, look at your neighbor. Say, "I got peace. I got peace. I got peace." Tell them on the other side, "I got peace.
I got peace within. I'm settled within. I'm confident within. I've got safety within. I've got soundness within. Hallelujah. Amen. The world might have war, but I got peace. >> And he said he makes uh peace in your borders. Amen. >> Amen. He He makes peace in your borders, >> within the parameters of your circumstance. >> I am persuaded in confidence and I'm thankful cuz I'm experiencing his peace. >> Let me close.
Here's my fourth point. I got four minutes left. Five. >> Take your time. >> No, I can't take my time. Stop telling me that. I wish I could. >> He verse 14 says and says and fills you with the finest wheat. >> Provision. Y'all ain't hearing what I'm Somebody say provision.
Tell your neighbor I got provision. Tell them on the [snorts] other side. He fills me with the finest wheat. He's making provisions. He's giving me the best. He didn't give me the worst. He took care of providing for me. >> Amen. I want to thank I have a reason to shabbach God because he has given me what I need. >> ((cheering)) >> When you when you start getting depressed again about your life or the devil try to torment you and give you anxiety.
Here are four Ps that I don't want you to ever forget. As a matter of fact, it would do you good to remember these four Ps. Go ahead, tell your neighbor there's four P's right there. Tell them on Tell them on the other. Tell everybody all around you.
I got I got four P's. >> Tell them I got protection. Shout it out loud. >> I got a I got the product from within. I got children that haven't haven't even been born yet. But yet I got grandchildren that have I'm sorry. All my children been born.
The shop is closed. But my grandchildren and great grandchildren and great great grandchildren are going to be connected to the provisions and the protection and the peace of God. Hallelujah. Cuz God has made it possible for my children's children to be >> to be taken care of. >> And I got peace. >> Now some of y'all don't have peace because you don't have a relationship with Jesus.
Amen. You're not walking with him. You're not submitted to him. You're not you you you haven't accepted the Lord, the existence of God. There is a God who gave his son to die on the cross so you could be forgiven of your sins >> and have a relationship with God.
And and what once you make the choice and the decision, all of these Ps are available to you. God has made them available to you. >> I don't care what you did. Don't care how recently you did it, how often you did it, how long you did it, how low you did it.
He has made it possible. Hey, there's a fifth P. Made it possible >> for you to accept. put your faith in what he did. And you know what I'm thankful for? You know, he didn't say you had to kill a a a lamb. You don't have to uh pay a certain amount of money.
No, he all that's been eliminated. He has made it possible for you to just extend your faith. Give him your heart and he will change and transform ((music playing)) your life. And I don't know who you are, but I know you're here. But God is calling you right now to say yes to Jesus.
You might be watching online. He's made it possible. He's calling you right now to say yes to the Lord Jesus. If you're here and you need forgiveness of your sins, and you do, and you need a walk with God, and you do need it, I invite you to step out from where you are and come and accept the Lord Jesus as your personal savior and surrender to him right now while the blood is running warm in your veins.
Come and say, you know what? I need Christ in my life. Or maybe you backslid. You started with him, but you've drifted away, but now you need you have the need to rededicate yourself aresh to God. Come on, right now while the blood is running warm in your veins.
Or maybe you're here and you're unsure of your eternal destiny. Come right now. We can help you get blessed assurance to accept the Lord. I hope I got somebody praying with me here right now. Or maybe you are uh uh saved, but you need a church. This is a great church for you to be a part of. >> ((music playing)) >> to you.
[singing] [singing] >> Don't be ashamed. Don't let the enemy keep you when God's calling you. >> Right now is the time. This is the day. This is the moment to respond to the Lord Jesus and enable me to say ((music playing)) >> hallelujah. I see you. Come on, somebody else. Come on.
Another one. Come on. Come on. [music and singing] >> And I'm available. >> And I am available ((music playing)) [singing] to you. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Hallelujah. ((music playing)) Glory to God. Can we say it again? [singing] Lord, I'm available for you. Say, I'm available. >> I'm [singing and music] available to you. >> Hallelujah. [singing and music] My will I give to you.
Hallelujah. >> Come on, my brother. Come on, my sister. Don't delay it. Don't put it off. ((music playing)) >> Tomorrow's not promised. What you have is this moment >> to say yes to God. ((music playing)) to show [singing] someone the way and it [singing and music] meal. >> My storage is empty. >> My ((music playing)) storage [singing] is empty. >> I'm available, God.
((music playing)) >> I [singing] am available to you. Father, I thank you for these who have come today. I pray that you would manifest yourself to them. Cleanse them. Wash them. Fill them with your power and presence. Settle them in your kingdom. Almighty God, let their faith be extended to you.
Let them have a heart of repentance. Accomplish in their life what it is you desire in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. >> ((music playing)) >> Amen. Thank you for your presence today. Be blessed in Jesus name. Amen. >> Amen. >> ((music playing)) >> I'm available. >> I'm available. >> I'm available ((music playing)) [singing] to you. >> Hallelujah to Jesus. >> My will [music and singing] I give to you.
Yeah. >> My will I give to you. [singing] >> Said I'll do what you say. >> ((music playing)) >> You say you >> show ((music playing)) someone family. Are you available to him on today? Are you available to him today? Today could be the best day of your life. Better than any birthday celebration.
