Winning the War in Your Thoughts // Battlefield of the Mind - Part 3 - Pastor Vlad

What I'm going to deal with is, what all of us are encountering and will encounter, whether you believe in Christians having demons or not, we'll leave that alone for today. But one thing that is certain and the Bible is clear about is that this hostile world that you cannot see with your eyes, but you can feel its effects somehow makes it their target, your mind and they attack your mind.
And that's what we're going to talk about today or the devil loves to attack our mind through with our thoughts, intrudes with torment, builds strongholds with lies, and we can resist the attacks, we can remove the intruder and we can renew our mind to break down the strongholds.
And so, here are a few simple thoughts. All of our notes are usually on You version Bible app and you can also tap your phone and get the notes there as well. We don't only come to encounter God, we come to be equipped by God's Word as well.
And it's the Word of God that breaks down strongholds. And it's the Word of God that helps us to think like victors. Number one, Satan doesn't always speak in a demonic voice. Sometimes he hides behind a familiar voice. There are four voices you will hear in your life.
Voice number one is God's. Voice number two is yourself. Voice number three is other people's voice. And voice number four is satanic demonic voice. Now, most of us have probably seen an episode or a TV show or something where we think the demonic voice sounds like something spooky that causes the hair on your back to go up.
And I'm going to tell you, the devil doesn't speak like that. Why? Because if he would, you will say, "Come out in Jesus mighty name." We wouldn't even have to resist the devil if he would speak like the devil. Why? We will always be throwing stones at him.
I mean, some of you will do physical things to just attack him or just go hit yourself or something. But he doesn't sound like the devil. He sounds like you. He loves to clone our thoughts. Why? They're harder to distinguish, discern, and resist. He loves to put his lies in a Trojan horse of our own that sounds like our thoughts.
Even God speaks in a similar way. Sometimes when God speaks, it does sound like your thought. And we discern it by testing it against God's word. And so when Eve was in the garden, she heard the voice of God, more like Adam heard the voice of God and told her, but most likely she did.
She heard Adam's voice because Adam also taught her things. She heard the devil's voice, serpent, and she also had her own voice. And these are four voices that will compete for agreement in your life. And the key is to discern the voice of the enemy. Where it gets tricky, is the enemy does not always come out as the enemy.
The scripture says he comes as the angel of light. Meaning he loves to wear a mask. He loves to wear a clone to his voice so that you don't discern it. There was a couple in our church and and the wife fell for a scammer that and the scammer pretended to be a guest speaker that was coming to our church from a different nation.
This guest speaker was prophet and a man of God and he started to message her on Facebook and he said to her to send him money on WhatsApp which is you know anybody who pretends to be somebody and talks about WhatsApp and money like that is the three signs of a scammer.
Where it got tricky is that he got on a call with her, put a cloth over the the microphone of his phone and started to speak to her, do all of that so he could confuse her that it's not him and then threaten her that if she does not sow this seed of $10,000, her daughters will begin to die.
Now he quickly found out about her daughters from Facebook and you know and then he said if he, if she tells her husband or her pastor even if she sows the seed, they will die which is like five signs of how to spot a scammer, right there. And you know anybody who loves God genuinely, this woman was expecting the speaker to be in our church you know and at that time scammers were still pretty fresh so a lot of us were not very equipped and she gets on a call with him and he tells these things, pretends to be somebody else and she goes to the bank, wires the money and then afterwards calls her husband and the husband calls me and next thing you know I was like it's a scammer.
Then I talked to that scammer too and so he I tried to see if I could be a prey and bind him in Jesus name and rebuke him and tell him he's going to go to hell for that and then he disconnected me. FBI got involved or other the government got involved trying to hunt him but he never got the money but unfortunately those money were never returned to her.
Somebody pretended to be somebody else. They sounded like somebody else. And that's what the enemy wants. He clones his thoughts, his voice in the one you have a difficult time resisting. Not always he will come as your thoughts. Sometimes he will come as the thoughts or voice of your friends.
Peter says to Jesus, "You're the son of God." Jesus says, "Peter, you're not that smart, this is definitely God." So Peter's pride goes up. And then Peter starts giving Jesus instruction on how to run His ministry. Now, at first it seems like it's just Peter giving Him some common sense, human wisdom.
Jesus recognizes it is not human wisdom. He recognizes the enemy's voice in that and he says, "I rebuke you, Peter." Actually says, "I rebuke you, Satan." And so that means that the enemy can clone thoughts, his voice through the means that we will have a difficult time to resist.
To Eve, he came like a snake. To Jesus, he came like Peter and to you, he may come as your own thoughts. What does this mean? That means don't believe every thought that comes into your head. Don't believe that it's just yours. Don't believe it's just me thinking to hurt myself, jump off the bridge, swirl your car into another lane.
I am nobody. God has no purpose for me. God has abandon me. Everybody always hates me. Those thoughts might not be yours. They might pick up on some logic and some truthful thing that exists because why the enemy's lies are so powerful is because they hold a little bit of something that is true.
Not truth, but true. It could be true that you have that situation. It could be true that you are feeling those things. But not everything that is true is the Truth. So the enemy will use just enough of what is true and mix it with bunch of his lies.
And what he's going to do is draw you to a conclusion where now you fall prey and he robs your life. When Joshua entered the promised land, there was a nation that knew they couldn't win against Joshua. They were Gibeonites and they got pretty smart and they became deceptive.
So instead of attacking Joshua head on, the scripture says is they pretended to be somebody. They pretended to be their friends. They brought old clothes and they came to Joshua and they said, "Look at our clothes. Look at our wine skins. We've been traveling. We heard about your God."
Some of those things they said were true. The clothes were old. The wine skins were old. They did hear about God. Those things were true, but now the rest of the stuff were lies. And they said, we are from a far country, make a covenant with us, we are your friends.
Those were not true. So, just enough of true things to make you blind and naive and fall for it and then bunch of lies. And the scripture says Joshua makes a covenant with those people and then realizes this was not who they were. And the scripture says, "And Joshua did not inquire of the Lord."
Be careful to make covenants with thoughts that you're supposed to resist, take captive, and overcome because then you're going to end up living with things that you can overcome and you will now identify with. How many people today made their identity things God gave them power to overcome?
They made it part of who they are, what God gave them power to resist. So, Satan doesn't always speak like Satan. Sometimes he sounds, something or someone you're familiar with. Number two, not only that, but Satan has or the devil has an accent. Once you learn it, you can recognize his voice.
You know, people have accents. And for those of you who probably recognized, I have an accent. Well, it's more like I don't have an accent. It's you guys who have an accent. I'm just kidding. I have an accent and you listen to someone like myself and you're like, "Man, that's somewhere from Russia."
No, close, but no Ukraine but Slavic accent. And then you listen to people who came from like Texas, they have an accent. You listen to people from New York and they have an accent. People who came from Mexico and they have an accent. And then you different people have accents.
And so sometimes when they're speaking, you're like, I think you're from, and you can by their accent kind of determine where they're coming from. Now, this is amazing thing about the enemy. Even though he's very smart, he's also a little bit stupid. He cannot hide his accent. When Satan speaks, I'm going to give you three things to discern his accent all the time.
He can't hide it. No matter how many filters and fillers he puts on it, no matter how much mixing he does on his voice, he cannot hide his accent. And it's three things. He will always question God's Word, doubt God's goodness, and undermine your identity. Always in the garden, has God said, always questions.
God puts exclamation marks, Satan comes and turns them into a question mark. Does God really love you? Does that prophetic word really true? Does God really going to provide for you? Do and he always questions anything that questions God's word, my friend, you can already discern this is not the Holy Ghost speaking.
This is somebody else. The second thing is he will question God's goodness. God is hiding something from you. You can do better if you take care of you. God is you don't trust God to take care of you. Why? He's not going to take care of you. Look what he didn't do here.
Look what he didn't do there and everything. Anytime a dominant, persistent, persuasive voice comes into your head that undermines not only the justice of God, the wrath of God, the holiness of God, but the fact that God is good and He is good all the time. That is a enemy's accent.
He cannot hide it. Why? Because he has this bandana against God. He doesn't think God is good. So when he speaks, he speaks from what he is filled with, which is a lie. He's a liar. And one of his things, he has a problem with the goodness of God.
And honestly, God is not going to be good to him. So I feel No, I don't feel bad. I wanted to say I feel bad for the devil. I do not feel bad for the devil. God has a lake of fire prepared for him. For us, He has mansions prepared.
So when the devil comes and tells me God is not good, I said, "Yes, sorry, bro. He's not good to you. He reminds me about my past. I said, "Well, my past is bad. Your future is worse. God is good. He loves you. He has compassion for you.
His mercies are new every morning." And the devil's action is he will question goodness of God. God cannot be trusted because God doesn't care for you. God doesn't love you. And then the devil starts lining up evidence. Look what happened with this prayer. Look what happened with this thing.
Look what happened with this thing. And he takes the evidence and manipulates it to fit his agenda. He is a liar and the father of lies. Anything he says is not true. The third accent of Satan by which you discern his voice, is anything he says is usually to undermine you as a person who is in Jesus Christ.
Why? He hates you. He's jealous of you. Why? Because God, when you sinned, sent His son to die on the cross for you. When Satan sinned, He kicked him out of heaven. That hurts. He's evil. There's no redemption for him. We're broken but God gave us redemption. That drives him crazy.
Why would God take these humans? They're also messed up. They also have pride. They also have evil and He loves them so much. He gave His son and His spirit and assigns His angels to help them. He hates you. He doesn't want you to succeed. And he want, he thinks of you so low and he wants you to feel the same thing which will be undermining who you are in Christ.
He came to Jesus and said, "Are you you sure, you're son of God? If you are the son of God, in Ephesians, it says that every fiery dart that comes against us, what does it hit? It hits our helmet, meaning we are saved. It hits our breastplate, which means we are righteous.
It hits the belt, which means there's truth. It hits our shoes, which means there's peace." So God clothe us in the identity of Jesus. And Satan comes, he wants to attack it. Please understand satan is not your friend. He wants you to feel like a victim. He wants you to feel like a loser.
He wants you to feel like your life is hopeless. Your future has nothing to dream about and desire, Why? Because he has a vendetta against God. And you remind him of the image of God. Because you remind him of the Creator that made you in His image. And God loves you so much that He sent His son to die on the cross for you.
And that drives the devil insane. And so he wants to not only question God's goodness. He wants to not only doubt God's word. He wants to undermine your identity as a child of God. When you spot that, when you discern that, you know you're not dealing just with you, your thoughts.
You're dealing with an enemy. You're dealing with Satan. And he would love to undermine your identity when you feel weak or when you have fallen, when you have made a mistake, when you have tripped up. The Bible says the wicked falls by falls and he falls by calamity but the righteous man falls seven times and he gets right back up.
Which means our righteousness is not based on how much we don't fall. It's based on Jesus Christ. Our identity I don't wear a hat of condemnation. I wear a helmet of salvation. Meaning I am saved. I am accepted by Jesus. I am justified by the blood of Jesus.
I'm not wearing some kind of a rugged jacket of my own guilt and shame. I wear the breastplate of righteousness of Jesus Christ. It protects my heart. Salvation protects my mind. So when the enemy comes in like the flood, when he builds a weapon to form against me and to attack me with his voice of accusation, with the voice of shame, with the voice of guilt, with the voice of my last mistake, my last thing that I did, I rise strong and I say, "Yes, Satan, it is true that I did those things."
But the truth of Jesus is I been washed. I've been redeemed. I've been justified. Let those arrows hit my helmet. Let those accusations hit my breastplate. Because the righteousness of mine is like dirty rags. The righteousness of His is a breastplate. You cannot penetrate it with your arrows of condemnation.
Demonic voice has an accent and it's three-fold. Doubting God's word. It is doubting God's goodness. And it is always making you feel less than. It fuels your insecurities. It fuels your inferiority complex. It fuels your I'm no good. When Jesus comes, He says not only you're not good, you're worse than that.
You're like bad. But I'm going to kill that part on the cross and give you new creation, new identity. You're saved. You're forgiven. You're not poor little sinner, weak. No, no, no, no you are my child. And Satan seeks to undermine that. Number three, when life gets harder, demonic lies get louder.
Therefore, you must wear an armor of God. As I just alluded to in Ephesians chapter 6, Paul tells us that Satan sends fiery darts in the places where God clothe you with truth, in the places where God clothe you with faith and with peace. And this is the verse Ephesians chapter 6 verse 13 says the following, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day.
I want you to see the word evil day here. Every Christian has attacks but there are seasons where attacks are intense. And the evil day is not always 24 hours. Sometimes it's seven days. Sometimes it's a month. It's intense pressure. It's when circumstances get complicated. It's when relationships are strained, finances are struggling, your spiritual faith is feels wobbly and shaky.
Usually in those moments, anxieties flare up. And the enemy not always sending those things, but the guy is an opportunist. He will exploit all of that. So when an evil day happens in your life, he cranks up the volume on his lies. His lies become very difficult to resist and they feel so natural.
Why? Because you're going through hell. Why? Because you're hurting. Why? Because your life right now is very challenging. So what does this mean? That means when you recognize your life is hard, become skeptical of every voice that is in your head. In fact, in that moment, trust no voice at all.
Don't even trust your feelings. Don't trust your thoughts. Train your thoughts. Don't trust them. Don't trust your feelings. Why? Because your feelings will lie to you on the worst day. Why? Because on your hardest day, Satan has access to exploit your emotions and they lie to you. And then during those days, your friend can come and give you the dumbest word you can ever receive in your life.
Sometimes they give you they say stuff to you like that is dumb with the PhD on it. That is so foolish. That is so wrong. It's to make you be afraid. When Nehemiah was building the wall and things were difficult, prophetess came to him and says, "Hide I want you to, you know, there are people attacking you.
People are saying this." And Nemiah, as the Bible says, he says, "Wait, I recognize that that's not normal. That's not good. Somebody pay these people to say these things." And he said, "I'm not going to be afraid. I'm going to continue to do God's work. I will finish what God called me to finish.
I'm not going to listen to these voices because the enemy likes to up the volume of his lies when he sees this is the best shot he got, Why? Because you're down. When you're down, be skeptical. Trust no voice in your own head that doesn't line up with the Word of God.
And when people speak to you, put a big filter there when you're especially when you're down. It doesn't pass the filter of, is it true? Is it in line with God's word? Does it bring me hope or does it bring me just anxiety? And does it draw me closer to Jesus or does it just draws me closer to despair?
And the these are the three main tests that you got to ask when the enemy sends a voice or when a friend sends a voice when it's the hardest season of your life. Why? Because you're most vulnerable to the demonic attack when your life is the hardest. All of us are.
Amen. He will attack us through our emotions, our circumstances, financial pressure, relationship strain coming at you from the outside and try to squeeze you from within. And the three questions that we got to ask when this is happening is, does this agree with God's word? If it contradicts it, I'm not accepting it.
Does this thought produce fear or faith in me? Am I scared or am I more courageous? If it's causing me to feel afraid, God is a God of faith, not a God of fear. He has not given me spirit of fear. That means I'm not accepting this. Even if it sounds right, even if it sounds logical and it makes sense in my head, I am not going to accept it.
Why? Because I'm a person of faith. I got the word of faith. I got the spirit of faith. I'm called to live a life of faith. I have the gift of faith and I have a measure of faith. And I'm called a believer. I got to live like a believer.
And the third question is, does this thought move me closer to obedience or away from God? and obedience. Number four, the enemy's power grows where lies are believed, welcomed, repeated, and obeyed. The enemy looks for more than attention. He's looking for agreement. Attacks on the outside are seeking partnership on the inside.
It's often less about immediate possession or oppression. It's more about progressive agreement. The presence of a thought is not the same thing as agreeing with a thought. A thought can enter your mind without your permission, but it cannot take root without your consent. You cannot control every thought that enters, but you can control which thoughts you entertain, agree on, and act on.
The scripture in John 13:2 says the following. The supper being ended, the devil having put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him. Now look at verse if you go down into chapter 22 of Luke verse three. And Satan entered Judas who was numbered among the 12.
So I want you to see scripture says Satan puts a thought into Judas. Judas entertains the thought. He talks to the Pharisees, makes a deal. Then Satan enters Judas and Judas then acts on and betrays Jesus. And this is usually how it works. Satan plants it, you plan it.
He enters and you act on it. He gives the suggestion. He needs you to agree with it, water it, and create the plan. When you create the plan, you have an agreement. And when you have an agreement, he has access. And now he rides your thoughts and you actually receive them.
I'm pretty sure Judas didn't think the thought to betray Jesus was from Satan. I think it was an opportunity to make money. I think the enemy skewed his thought. But the Bible in here doesn't say, "And Judas saw an opportunity to make money." The Bible says, "And Satan put on Judas' heart to betray Jesus."
In Judah's twisted mind, it looked like a money opportunity to make money off of Jesus' betrayal. But the behind the scenes who was pulling the strings was Satan put into the heart of Judas. Now Judas could have simply uprooted that and says I rejected. No, that's a bad idea to make money.
There's other ways to make money. Not betraying my Lord Jesus. He no, I don't accept that. Instead, Judas entertained it. He planned it, talked to the Pharisees, made a deal, still shows up at the supper where he receives the communion. And the Bible says, "And Satan enters Judas."
So he gives him a suggestion, attacks from the outside. Judas partners with that lie, believes it, rehearses it, plans it, and builds a plan around it. And Satan enters into Judas. He still is not making Judas do something. Judas now acts on that and betrays Christ. And then Satan, I believe, pushed Judas now forcefully suggestion to kill yourself and Judas ended his life.
And that's how the enemy works. This is not the only time that it worked. In the book of Acts chapter 5, the scripture says Ananas comes to Peter and sells his property and withholds 50% of the proceeds. Which was nothing wrong with that, but Ananas wanted to appear more spiritual than he was.
And he tells Peter, he said, "Hey, I'm giving all of the money that I made." And Peter says this, "Why have you allowed Satan to fill your heart to lie? Meaning the idea to lie about an offering. Such a minor thing. I mean, you sold it, you know, made some money.
You didn't give half of it. I mean, I know you wanted to really look like Barnabas who kind of gave all of the proceeds from the land. You wanted to look like the other guy, but you're not there yet. So, but you want it to look like that cause see, some of us want people to see our potential instead of our substance.
And Instagram really helps us now to be doing what Ananas did over there and died for. Thank God. God is a little bit more merciful I think right now for a lot of us because we appear to be one way than we actually are. The idea for that was just hey I just wanted to be liked.
I wanted to be viewed as generous. Peter says he pulls the curtain from the spiritual world and he says Satan filled your heart to lie. Now Satan didn't make you to lie. He suggested it. You lied. Why? Because the next verse Peter says this. He says, "Why have you conceived this?"
Meaning, Satan planted a seed. You conceived it. He gave you a suggestion. You worked on it, watered it, allowed it, entertained it, planned around it, accepted it as your own, built a structure around it. And now it's not Satan that's going to pay for it. You, Ananas will.
I want to let you know that you none of us will ever be able to stand before Jesus and say, "Devil made me do it." None of us. Even if you will look in the spiritual world and you will see that it was the devil's idea that came into your head.
None of us will be able to say, "Well, God, send the devil on my behalf to hell." Why? Because it was him who made me do it. It will not fly in the court system. It will not fly before God. The devil will give you a suggestion, but it is your agreement that gives you partnership with him and his lies.
And then he starts taking control of certain areas, but you still have the power to kick him out, reject him, and resist him by the power of the Holy Ghost. Can somebody say, Amen? And lastly, take every thought hostage until it bows to Jesus. 2 Corinthians chapter 5, 2 Corinthians chapter 10:5.
And this verse deals a lot with strongholds, but I'm going to highlight one portion of it about how to actually go about dealing with these thoughts. Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
I want you to notice that Paul doesn't treat thoughts as thoughts. He treats them as prisoners of war. You don't negotiate with destructive thoughts. You arrest them. You don't invite them to sit in your mind like they're guests. You handcuff them, escort them to Jesus. Fear, you cannot live here.
Condemnation, you're trespassing. Hopelessness, you're under arrest. I want you to see Paul is saying, we must cast down arguments. This word refers to reasonings. It refers to mental narratives and internal debates. These thoughts that sound logical, but they contradict God. He also says we must bring down anything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.
Means there are lies that will sit higher than what God said. Therefore the battle is not about the voice that will sit in your head but the voice that will sit in the highest place in your mind. Paul doesn't say take some thoughts captive. He says every thought must be taken captive.
That means fearful thoughts, bitter thoughts, lustful thoughts, condemning thoughts, hope, hopeless thoughts, prideful thoughts. Anything that comes into your mind, you must understand they have to go through the filter. You know, you have to have like a spiritual TSA in your mind. When you go through the Tri cities airport, they put everything through that scanner.
I remember one time my father-in-law gave me this really nice Swiss knife and I don't know how it ended up in my backpack. And so it goes through and they found that knife and they looked at it and I was like, I'm not intending to harm anybody. This this is not even supposed to be here.
They took that knife away. It's like a priceless possession. And they threw that in the garbage. Why? Because some things are helpful, some things are harmful. And they knew if they let a knife go on this plane, stuff could potentially happen. Your mind has to operate the same way.
Some thoughts are helpful, some are harmful. If you let them get a seat on your plane, they'll bring down the plane. You got to be like a spiritual TSA. The enemy will send them, you can scan them. The enemy will send them, you can reject them. Have you ever got that spam email that was going around like about a year ago where somebody took a screenshot of the front of your house?
Anybody got that? Okay. So, really, I was the only one. So, that one and I already, you know, got the Nigerian prince send me $5 million, you know, through a WhatsApp account if I give him a I got those. I'm good with those. My even Gmail detects those.
So, this one, my Gmail didn't even detect it. It got straight into my inbox and it was not marked as a spam. So, that caught my attention. It simply has says this, see the attachment, which I'm very weary about the attachments, but my computer scanned it and said it was clean.
Okay, I opened the attachment and it uses my first name and it says da and then it says um sit down as you're reading this message. I'm like, I'm already seated, but I'm just going to sit down lower. And it says, we have been monitoring your computer. I was like, okay, nothing new CIA probably.
And then it says, "Because we installed a malware in your computer." And I was like, "Not true. I have an Apple. That's not that easy." So I'm reading, "We know what you've been secretly looking at and deleting your browsing history." And I was like, "Okay, I could see how somebody could fall for that."
I was like, "First of all, I deleting my browsing history and and if you're looking at it, you're going to learn more about the Bible and the scripture. But I'm reading. We're about to expose you to the whole world your dirtiest secrets if you don't send us $2,000 in next five days to this account.
And then it has the picture of my front house. Now that got me. I was like, how dare I was all these are lies. I know. How did my picture from the front door of my house end up on this email? And of course, I Googled it and I saw the front.
So now I asked Google to blur my house so nobody can take a picture because it's blurred. By the way, you can do that too. So and you know if I would have believed just because I saw the front of the house on that and I got scared, would I wire them the money?
And that's how the enemy works. He gives you just enough stuff to get under your nerve, stir up your emotion so that you can entertain it, agree with it, and start letting him in into your account, into your life, and into your mind. And that is how many people end up on the hook of the enemy believing those lies because it comes in your email.
You don't have to open it. You don't have to wire the money. You can simply delete that and say, "This is scam. I don't believe in this stuff and I reject these threats. I reject these lies. Amen. Don't let the enemy in. Don't let those thoughts in. Scan them through the word of God.
Scan them like this. Is this in line with God's word? Is this give me fear? Or is this give me faith? And is this draw me closer to Jesus or I am withdrawing away from Jesus? Amen. I want you to rise to your feet. I know there are people in this room that have made agreements with lies.
If you're watching us or re-watching us, I would like you to take next few moments and I want you to pray with me. Say this with me. Say, in the name of Jesus, now say like you are about to break an agreement. Say, in the name of Jesus, I break every agreement I have made with fear, I have made with shame, condemnation, lust, rejection, hopelessness, self-hatred, confusion and unbelief, I renounce every lie I have believed about God, about myself and about my future.
I reject every voice that doubts God's goodness, questions God's Word and undermines my identity, I renounce the lie that God was withholding something from me, I renounce the lie that His word cannot be trusted, I renounce the lie that I am not who God says I am, Holy Spirit help me to take every thought captive to the Obedience of Christ.
Give me discernment, to recognize what's from You, what's from people and what is from my own soul from and what is from the devil. I will not accept, every thought that enters my mind. My mind will have spiritual TSA in the name of Jesus. And right now, I tear down every stronghold in my mind, built by lies, built by trauma, built by sin, built by culture, false doctrine, and demonic influence.
I demolish every mental fortress that resists God's truth and I renew my mind by the Word and by the Spirit. Put your hand on yourself. Say, "Father, clothe me with the whole armor of God, strengthen the helmet of salvation, over my mind. The breastplate of righteousness, over my heart.
The belt of truth, over my life. The shield of faith, against fiery darts and the shoes of peace, under my feet. In the evil day, I will stand. When life gets harder and lies get louder, Your truth will be louder still. Come on. I want you to give the Lord a clap offering right now if you believe that confession, that declaration over your life those of you watching us online as well.
And now I'm going to ask everyone to bow your head and close your eyes. If you're in this room, you're visiting us today or you've been coming in week, week out, week in, week out and you have not yet made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life or if you're watching us online or re-watching this message years down the road and you don't know Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
As I've mentioned, your mind is the target of foreign, vicious, hostile entities. Your mind is also broken because of sin. And Jesus Christ offers salvation, forgiveness of your sins, which lifts so much of shame and guilt and anxiety. Jesus offers you new identity. And Jesus Christ offers you life and more abundant with no one looking around.
And if I can ask just for a moment of your silence without walking around. If you need to give your life to Jesus or you need to come back to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior because you backslid. I'm going to count to three. I'm going to ask you to make the decision today.
Today could be that day, that one moment where your eternity changes. I'm not saying all of your problems are going to be gone. I'm saying your name will be written in the book of life and you will not have anxiety lodged in your heart. But Jesus, Holy Spirit will live and he will help you to overcome.
When I count to three, if you need to give your life to Jesus or you need to come back to Jesus, I'm going to ask you to raise your hand. One, two, three, just lift your hand high. If you say, "I need to get right with God. I'm not where I'm supposed to be with God."
Thank you. Thank you. If you're watching us online, thank you. You can just drop that in the chat, I want to be saved. It doesn't matter if it's live or re-watch. It doesn't matter. You can just drop that in the chat. I want to be saved. If you raised your hand or you wanted to raise your hand, I'm going to ask you to do something bold right there where you are standing.
I'm going to ask you to step out of your seat and come and stand here with me right now. Just come. Just come. Let's go. If you're that person who say, "Hey, this is me." Make your way forward. I would love to see you here in the front.
And those of you watching us online, you can just come and God bless you, sir. God bless you. I'm glad you're here. God bless you. God bless you. God bless you. God bless you. And if you're watching us online, you can just comment below. I'm that person. I'm far from Christ.
I need to become a Christian today. I need to follow Jesus. God bless you. God bless you. And we're going to pray together right now with everybody watching and everybody here as well. Is there anyone else who's making that decision today saying, "I'm giving my life to Jesus."
Jesus is not here to just give you a little mental lift. He wants to give you new life. He's not just here to calm your mind. He actually is to wake up your mind to be a warrior for Christ. Stretch your hands like this. And those of you watching as well, you engage with us.
Say, "Lord Jesus Christ. I believe You are the son of God who died on the cross for all of my sins. I repent of my sins. Would You wash me with Your precious blood? Come into my heart. Be my Lord and be my savior. Deliver me from sin, curses, demons, and anxiety.
Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Fill me with Your peace. I'm going to walk with You. I'm going to overcome with You in Jesus name.
