((applause)) ((music playing)) ((applause)) me ((music playing)) oh ((music playing)) ((music playing)) oh ((music playing)) oh ((music playing)) this is my favorite night of the week because it's our praise and our worship time to come together a little more intimately as a family and nothing moves more powerfully than prayer and when we get on our knees and we worship him and we pray and we bring our petitions he is faithful and his promises they never end so we're going to sing this bridge again because when he moves there is no stopping him do you believe that this evening come on singer hallelujah hallelujah you may be seated just for a moment tonight well you're here to worship the lord amen it's going to be a beautiful service a beautiful time of worship in the word of the lord and beautiful singing as we've already experienced and of course our time of communion our time of prayer and it's just beautiful to to see to sense and to experience all that the lord is doing amen and i'm just i'm honored i tell people every day i'm i'm humbled to be a part of this magnificent move of the lord it's a beautiful beautiful thing to behold and i'm so honored that you're here i want to remind you uh just by way of of my announcement if i may this past saturday night we started something inadvertently it was something that i actually i did during ty's bible study last tuesday night i just came up here to the tent had a little bluetooth speaker i had the lights on and i just walked around i was praying and uh on saturday i felt like the lord said you know what see if anybody else wants to do that and so i didn't really give people a preemptive notice i just hopped on my personal not even my big one but just my my personal kind of church facebook page and said hey at 6 33 tonight i'm gonna play some music on a bluetooth speaker and walk around the tent and pray over all the chairs and for the service this weekend and the lord birthed something i think in our church that is going to be one of the most remarkable things we've probably ever done and so every saturday night even even saturday nights that i have to be away and travel through the night to get back to the pulpit on sunday we'll still have it right still have the bluetooth speaker and whoever wants to show up show up we had people just brought their kids just let their kids play in the back run around don't mind one bit if you can stay for a minute five minutes ten minutes or it's about the whole hour we'll call it the hour of power right we start at 6 33 because the bible says matthew 6 33 seek ye first the kingdom of god his righteousness and i was shocked at just within an hour an hour and a half notice not even letting by to know how many people actually showed up on this even visitors that were driving in so anybody that's watching us now that's coming in for the weekend just leave the hotel early and get over here and right at 6 33 we'll hit play and it's not necessarily until we get done at a time of fellowship it's a time of fellowship and with god amen and we had people that are in the room right now that that walk through and prayed over every single chair in this tent and we had people here just claiming the name and the blood and the grace of the lord jesus christ we had people that were praying up here people praying at the pulpit on the stage walking around some people sitting standing whatever 6 33 every single saturday night i believe we're gonna see revival baked into the atmosphere of this tent even more so than we even have already and i mean can you imagine that somebody said wow there's gonna be like a force field around the tent where the demons try to walk in but they're just gonna hit their face and fall backwards on son they're not gonna be able to get up in his place right it's beautiful it's beautiful and so i i'll put something out again this week just to remind you i want to get in a rhythm of that and so any it doesn't make it it's not something that has to be led by me or anyone it's led by the holy ghost right and so every single saturday night if you're able and and i really believe what what the lord showed me this week when i was walking around and all these people showed up i expected me and one or two other people to show up i mean it was last minute didn't tell anybody about it and boom there it was and i mean there was you know 55 60 people just walking around praying lifting up requests to the lord i really believe there's going to be a time in the not too distant future that there will be hundreds of people on saturday night all over this campus walking around this tent and pleading the blood of the lord jesus and praying protection and power and presence over this tenth and over these cedar chips i really believe i think it's going to manifest itself i think on saturday nights we're going to start seeing people healed and set free and turned around by the divine grace of god i think people are going to be saved they're going to be born again on saturday nights they're going to show up for a walk around the tent prayer meeting and god's going to captivate them they're going to get born again i'm telling it's going to happen i promise you it's going to happen and so i want you to be here this saturday night again it's not some type of requirement it's not even really a small group it's just an opportunity for you to come and take a few moments walk around this tent inside or out and just pray and just beg for revival just ask god to do some great things in our midst amen well our folks are going to ready themselves our servants and our hosts for our time of communion our time of the lord's table let me remind you that where this screen is here in the middle where this big pole is everybody on this side goes over here everybody on this side goes over here it just makes it a little bit more administratively organized and helpful on wednesday night when so many people stand in line and we tell you every week the only two requirements for taking communion are make sure you're born again and make sure you have a desire to want to walk with the lord to be in step in obedience to the holy spirit and so we use this opportunity to pray and to kind of do introspection while we stand in line we don't look at who partakes and who doesn't partake that's between you and the lord and your children are up to you that's your discretion parents that's on you and that's the only two requirements in the bible it's this is not the church that you have to belong to every single week you may be a visitor here you are welcome tonight to partake in communion this is the lord's table this is the communion with him not just with us but it provides unity cohesiveness in the body of christ and so let's pray and then we're going to stand and we're going to begin to make our way down to the tables on either side and again this pole this way this pole this way on either side and you get both elements if you need to take them to someone in their seat you can do that if you need some in your seat slip up your hand one of our ushers one of our greeting team will make sure that we get you the elements but just take them both back to the seat and then we will partake together all right so let's pray father we thank you for this opportunity we have to partake in communion literally communion communion with god to remember the lord's death until he come again to remember the shed blood and the broken body of our lord and savior jesus christ would i pray that this would bring about a great spirit of compassion one for another a family atmosphere no matter how big we get on the weekends never let us lose the family feel the family love that we have one for another may it grow just as rapidly as the church grows and even more so so lord bring about a great spirit of revival continually awaken our hearts a spirit of humility as we stand before you and kneel before you tonight in our prayer time so lord bless this representation of what you left for your body your bride your local church to be involved in and so i pray tonight that we would search our hearts we would examine ourselves and we would want to have a faithful everyday dedicated walk with the son of god through the power of the holy spirit so lord tonight revive our hearts as we go into this special time of the lord's table in jesus name amen and amen you may stand if you're going to come forward and line up on either side and let's get our elements tonight ((music playing)) ((music playing)) jesus had the center ((music playing)) jesus at the center of it ((music playing)) from beginning to the end it will always be it's always been you jesus jesus ((music playing)) and jesus from beginning to the end it will always be it's always been you jesus ((music playing)) jesus cause nothing else matters nothing in this world will do ((music playing)) you're the center and everything revolves around you jesus you're ((music playing)) at the center of it all ((music playing)) jesus at the center of my life jesus at the center of my life from beginning to the end it will always be it's always in you jesus oh jesus there's nothing else ((music playing)) cause jesus for the center and everything revolves around you jesus you ((music playing)) and from my heart to the heavens jesus be the center it's all about you yes it's all about you from my heart to the heaven jesus be the center it's all about you yes it's all about you from my heart ((music playing)) jesus be the center it's all about you yes it's all about you ((music playing)) jesus be the center of your church oh jesus be the center of your church and every knee will bow and every tongue shall confess you jesus well hallelujah amen ((music playing)) the apostle paul in writing about this very situation that we find ourselves in tonight as we celebrate the lord's table he said for i have received of the lord that which also i delivered unto you that the lord jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took the bread and when he had given thanks he break it and he said take and eat this is my body which is broken for you this do in remembrance of me ((music playing)) and after the same manner also he took the cup when he had supped saying this cup is the new testament in my blood this do ye as oft as ye drink it in remembrance of me ((music playing)) for as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup you do show the lord's death till he come and the church of the living god said amen and amen indeed what a beautiful time and i never wanted to get redundant i never wanted to get monotonous i never wanted to get religious or denominational to us i wanted to be passionate it's a special special calling that jesus left to his local church baptism and the lord's table the two ordinances divinely commanded by jesus for the local church to keep in remembrance both of them in remembrance of the gospel so you can be seated i know we've got some folks that'll come around and uh they'll they'll take the little cups and all of that i told you last week some of you might want to keep them in every week to see how many weeks you're able to partake of communion with us you know we we always celebrate a time of prayer in our church a time when we bear each other's burdens and so fulfill the law of christ we have a lot of requests tonight as we normally do a lot of requests and we're going to pray over them and we're going to honor the requests of so many people and and before we start doing that i want to say to all of our people online on facebook and youtube and other streaming platforms that not only do we appreciate your faithfulness and you tuning in we appreciate your candidness your humility and uh and and we honor you for that and so tonight we just ask that you would place your prayer requests the ones that you're comfortable putting out there in public you put your prayer requests right there in the comments section i promise you we'll we'll pray for you somebody around the world somebody right now in our global vision online community thousands tens of thousands of people will reach out and love you and care for you and help you counsel you if need be and i want you just to put those requests right there in the comment section right this second and i know there's a bunch of haters out there just swipe over don't worry about that we're worried about your requests why not worry about the hate we're not worried about all the the anti-lock or anti-global vision things that are said okay but we're not perfect okay we're messed up fall down the steps people like everything else and everybody else but at the end of the day there's one thing we've got power of the holy spirit i believe that i believe that so you just swipe over and don't worry about the hate you just worry about those prayer requests and those comments that are there and we want we certainly want to pray for them tonight you know the bible says there's any sick among you can you sick among you what do you do call for the elders of the church the prayer faith shall save the sick and so tonight we've had a special request and we get a lot of those all right we'll have prayer team pray over people and all that here in just a moment and we'll pass out these cards and i'm under no time constraints okay when you have to leave i know everybody's got kids and everybody's got jaw i get it you can you can slip out when you want to that won't be any problem right we're just honored that you're here okay i'm well aware of the fact that you didn't have to be here tonight you wanted to be here tonight and so i honor your time and i thank you for that very much but we have an extra special request over and above the rest of the request in the body that i think we need to take to the lord tonight we can have everybody come but this is going to be a situation where i want my wife to pray and and some ladies in the church to lead we have a dear family in our church and we know them well jeff and mandy stevens and they've been here for a long time and uh she feels well but the blood work's saying otherwise and so they're a little little fearful right now as you can imagine and so the the paperwork and what the doctors are saying that doesn't look so hot especially when it's in accordance to a family history of things not looking so well and cancerous cells and things like that in in some bad blood work and so they got some bad news but they know they serve a big god and a good god and i want to ask them to come tonight and and i want i want our ladies to come and i want them to come and just lay hands on mandy tonight he's been praying over his wife he's been speaking peace and healing over his wife in the name of the lord jesus but i want our church to come and just lay hands on her tonight and just believe god for a miracle just believe god that regardless of what the doctors say the holy spirit of god can heal her tonight no matter what the blood work says in the paperwork in the mighty name of jesus we believe that we we command that healing to take place according to what the bible says we believe that we receive that and and i want them to be encouraged during this time that their church loves them their church will stand with them and i know many of you could use prayer but tonight it was specifically requested for this family and so i'm going to ask my wife to pray for mandy ((music playing)) father lord we come to you right now in the name that is above every name lord and we lift mandy up to you and their family father lord we know that you are the almighty physician that there is healing in the blood of jesus so lord we plead the blood of jesus over her father lord we know that you are the same god that still raises lazarus from the tomb god lord we know that you still make miracles happen every single day and lord today we are speaking and claiming declaring and decreeing that a miracle will be done in her life father by the power of your lord of your son jesus lord we thank you that there is still power in your name that there is power in your blood to heal the sick father lord right now we just thank you we thank you in advance because we do know that your promises are yes and amen and lord if you said it it will be done so lord tonight we are going to thank you by faith knowing that your will will be done in her life father lord that you will send healing in her body from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet god that sickness must flee from her father that we rebuke any cell in her body that has come against her to attack her father lord and we're gonna thank you by faith knowing knowing that your word is true and that we can stand on the power and the authority of your word lord it is our belief it is the faith of the believer that can move mountains in our life just the seed of a mustard can move a mountain father and lord tonight you have planted this seed within her god and lord we know that it will bring forth fruit in due season father and we thank you for that we thank you that you plant this seed within the soil of our souls god and lord that you are the one you are the one that gives increase and so father tonight we pray increase over her father lord we know that we can plant and we can water but you god you give increase in our lives and so father tonight we just thank you we thank you for the abundance of increase in her life father lord that it would strengthen her faith that when she goes to the doctor that they would give her a report that absolutely nothing is wrong that her blood work is going to come back normal father that all of her levels will be in normal range god because we serve a mighty god we serve the god that sits on the throne room of heaven father and lord you can say peace be still and the waves will come father and so lord right now in the storm of her life we speak peace be still says the lord that the winds said waves still obey my name says god so father lord we thank you that we can get out of the boat and we can keep our eyes focused on you god you never promised that the storm wouldn't come you promised that if we had focus that if we were looking unto you father that our faith would be increased so tonight god as your church as your body would you increase our faith tonight lord in jesus name amen hallelujah hallelujah amen hallelujah we love this family what we'll do is while you're kind of dispersing just kind of move out a little bit if you're going to get a prayer request and the rest of you can begin to come you know the drill from both sides and i've got some special folks going to be giving out these prayer requests tonight so they'll be right down here so let's go ahead while we're kind of still up and the rest of you can get up that are going got some men we got some ladies some folks on our prayer team over here they'll pray over you lay hands on you help you and do anything they can to minister to you tonight in the name of the lord shared this with me earlier you know just praying about this reminding me of it you know we have we literally get tens of thousands of prayer requests you know in a month's time in a couple of months time and we pray over every one of them multiple occasions not just once mind you but we had somebody reach out to us the last couple of days i believe they called the office and here's what they said they said that they sent in a prayer request for their mom sent in a prayer request to our church their mom that had stage four cancer and asking our church to pray and they just wanted us to know that to god be the glory great things he had done even praying through the screen right here not even know who these people are that they've been healed of stage four cancer amen that the doctor said no cancer it's all done all gone every bit of it all gone in a blessing hallelujah and so god still answers prayer he still answers prayer let's pray tonight band's gonna sing a little bit lead us along as we worship you just take your time let's worship the lord tonight ((music playing)) you were ((music playing)) foreign ((music playing)) you were worthy of it all only you deserve the glory ((music playing)) you were worthy of it all ((music playing)) you were ((music playing)) foreign ((music playing)) ((music playing)) you are ((music playing)) until ((music playing)) oh is ((music playing)) ((applause)) ((music playing)) oh ((music playing)) foreign ((music playing)) foreign ((music playing)) we ((music playing)) oh ((music playing)) father lord tonight we come to you with our thanksgiving lord because you are a good father ((music playing)) and you are faithful you are faithful even when we are not faithful you show up in every season of our lives you are in every single detail and father so often times we can be distracted by so much going on around us by disunity in our families or within our jobs or whatever it may be we can sometimes focus so much on the attack that we don't focus on the god that wins the battle for us we don't focus on our father that goes before us and fights for us lord tonight would we remember who we belong to lord that you truly do go before us lord that we have nothing to fear lord i hear you say to your church tonight that it is a time to have unshakable faith a laser focus on you because if we're not careful god we're going to get distracted by all of the wrong things and we're gonna miss you in the small details but what seems small to us is big to you because you're a great big god and nothing you ever do is small everything that you do is miraculous so father would you teach us to be focused to run the race set before us to fight the good fight of faith in this time lord that we would recognize that we fight not against flesh and blood lord that your people would fight with you like jacob until we get our blessing that we would wrestle with you father knowing that you will win we know that you will win because every victory belongs to you god lord tonight would you give us the endurance and the strength to come to you to fight it out in our souls god lord that we would put away the old man because god you are pouring out new one and we need a new wine skin we have got to put away bitterness and unforgiveness and malice and discord and all of the gossip and everything that tears us apart god lord we have to take off that old wine skin we have played games with you for far too long father ((music playing)) lord would you teach us to be like you god would you give us the strength to be able to say i have been made new by the blood of the lamb and i shall walk accordingly i will put off the old man so that you father you can pour out new wine into us lord there is no doubt that you have purified and pruned your bread in this time lord and we have brought forth fruit in due season and you have taken that fruit and you are crushing it father and during the crushing you are telling your children to put off the old to step away from all of the things that we have dabbled in all this time using your grace as a license to sin god forbid that we do that lord we should walk holy and righteous living a life pleasing unto you that we truly would be abroad ready for her groom because father it's easy to just say that to say all of the right things to walk the right way and talk the right way but lord it's a whole other level when we have to look within ourselves for so long we have been so busy judging other people and this sin in their life and how they don't measure up never realizing that we didn't measure up either father would you put a magnifying glass on us for ourselves that we would begin to understand that you are calling your bride to be righteous to walk in holiness to put away foolish things father lord tonight would you strengthen your church would you unleash gifts upon us for the edification of the saints the perfecting of your body lord amen that we would walk in obedience to you walk in the fullness of christ and lord in order to do that we're gonna have to subtract some things from our lives because we are so full of this world we've got one foot in the world and one foot in the gospel and lord you said no more my people my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways and then you will hear from heaven then you will heal our land father will you teach us tonight teach us by your spirit to be more like you that you would increase father and that we would decrease and lord that no matter what season of life we are in that we can look up and know where our help comes from the maker of heaven and earth ((music playing)) lord we thank you we thank you father we thank you lord because you are the alpha and the omega the beginning and the end the one who is and was and is to come the only one worthy to open the scrolls father we worship you because you are holy and you are righteous and you are grace in your mercy and you are faithful and you are good and you are peace and you are love ((music playing)) lord you are the maker of all things and lord we thank you for that we thank you that when things don't make sense that you do the constant one the everlasting father ((music playing)) we love you in jesus name amen you can be seated just for a moment and uh we're going to worship a little bit got another song that we're going to sing and i just i don't know there's just a good spirit here tonight amen it's powerful sweet and sometimes you don't want to just jump in the way and just go right to the next thing because it's the thing to do i just enjoy it when god's presence is evident amongst his people and so it's been a beautiful time of prayer i believe a beautiful time of healing we claim that amen beautiful time of taking these requests to the throne i just want to share this with you as a as a shepherd a lot of the behind the scenes what we call the underbelly of ministry the good there's a lot of bad there's a lot of difficult things there's a lot of good you would be shocked maybe you would maybe wouldn't at the the list of people that that stephanie and others have to go through just i mean we're on a long long list of people that for weeks and weeks and weeks we're helping benevolence people are hurting i mean we're paying bills for people all over america i mean people we've never met right we've never met and that can be daunting i mean it's difficult to have to tell some people no we're to a place now where you know people send their tithes here and stuff like that and we thank god for it but we're to a place now where every day every week i'm opening up letters and bills are falling out people are just begging us people are hungry people trying to get their heat turned on their lights turned on or cars are being repossessed and look i know we can't help everybody and there's some churches well i can't help everybody but i don't mean you can't help somebody amen i mean you can't help as many people as you possibly can but i mean we we literally have a line of people that are just just waiting for us to be able to get to them i mean we're just giving giving giving and i mean nobody has any idea i mean i i'm i'm praying because i still think god has whole new levels of generosity for this church to experience that we've never experienced and we're doing more than church i've ever heard of or been involved in not that we're the greatest one out there but we're doing it we're putting our money where our mouth is right we're believing god for great things and i believe we're going to step up our missions and step up our benevolence and on a daily weekly monthly yearly basis i really believe that i don't i don't know how we're going to do it but we're going to because i believe god's going to do it because we just keep giving it out god just keeps shoveling it backhoeing it back and we put it out with a little spatula and god brings a dump truck in here just throws it on us and we just give it out look we got a lot going out i mean if you know anything about construction that stuff ain't cheap i mean look at all the trees that are gone by the way give these guys a hand they have worked tirelessly for days for the last couple of weeks and it's it's about there but i mean all the travel now has to come in and all the equipment and all of that but all of that to say the focus of this church is not paying for all of that the focus of this church is blessing as many people as we possibly can and it can be not discouraging but it can be daunting the numbers of people that were like wow i mean there's a lot of people right they call they're right i mean everybody's got a story bills are just falling out of the mailbox other people's bills and we try to do what we can and we try to pay for who we can and missionaries are hurting i've never seen pastors and churches and missionaries hurting financially as much as they are right now and so i i applaud our church in-house and online for the giving for the levels of benevolence i mean when you see it on paper it does not even make sense it is unbe and i'm not just talking about one big time offering 300 000 to the nation of israel that's huge and i know god's blessing us already because of that but i'm talking about every day over and above that the cause of people the people that we're helping we got the we got the we got the pizza deal next wednesday night that's going to be a beautiful time amen and helping those folks just just reaching out the community well little bits we can people are calling but i want to say this when we go into the next song i know the last couple of wednesday nights i'm always saying something about a need for others right i had somebody approach me about a need for a family that was affected in this whole waukesha situation we're going to help them ray was talking to me about them and we're going to be a blessing to them when we get a little bit more detail but i had a dear dear pastor friend of mine called somebody we support remember jimmy crockett he was my youth pastor for many years and probably one of the greatest mentors and spiritual influences i said look when you're doing these travels around the world and you're meeting with these missionaries and starting these churches i need to know the needs man because these other churches they call they're like oh you know maybe we can maybe we can no no we can and we will right it's not just gonna sit around the bank we're gonna bless these people and so he called me today i was coming back from murfreesboro and had the kiddos with me and he said hey he said i just got back from meeting with some missionaries and he said one of us in spain he said he's been in spain for almost 30 years and coveted has destroyed his his financial base just destroyed it and he said he wouldn't ask he wouldn't say anything he didn't even know anything about our church only brother crockett does he said but this missionary has been in spain for all these years he's been driving the same vehicle as a missionary in spain for 23 years it's fallen apart they found a vehicle that would suit their family and their needs for 11 000 euros that's 12 500 in america right and so he said i said i know our people they're crazy they'll knock it out of the park i said let's get this man a car been driving the same jalopy for 23 years falling apart trying to start churches go all over spain lost more than half his support through covet and just but stays there you know why he stays there because god told him to and and he's not even seeing a lot of fruit right now because everything around him is closed and he's remained open and god's blessing him and doing but he's like you know what god told me to stay here i'm gonna stay here i'm just gonna stay here in spain i'm gonna minister these people and start churches and help folks with the gospel and so i said why couldn't we get behind that right we're not called local vision church we call global vision church i mean so we have a global vision and so we help a lot of people we take a lot of offerings and i never apologize for that and when i say these things i'm not apologetic i'm explanatory i'm just letting you know where the money's going right it's not just going so we can get dirt and gravel got to take care of the dirt and the gravel there's a lot of dirt and gravel in wilson county praise god so tonight we want to give so this missionary in spain can get a vehicle it's not even a new vehicle but it's the best they can get for their family it'll bless them it'll help them over there in spain going to read through a text and just make a few teaching and preaching comments and just take advantage of what time we have left and certainly want to give our student workers an opportunity to minister to them while they're down there tonight and so i know as of late i tell you it's just it's beautiful there was a time on wednesday nights and i was up at like 7 12. we were just done right just get in and get out quick as we could and the last number of wednesday nights and especially we've been meeting under the tent and things have been growing and the lord's been you know just manifesting his glory and his power you know it's it it's 803 and i'm not the least bit worried about that right and i'm i'm not going to keep you a long time i really just have a few things on my heart that i want to share i don't have like a full-blown message i just have a number of verses that i think will will develop itself into a message i want to let the word speak to us and i won't let the word wash us i tell the men every monday morning at courtney's their bible study at six a.m we read the word of god we read volumes of it because it's like a flood it'll wash you clean it'll wash over you and so i really want the word of god just to wash over you tonight and so pray with me and we'll jump in just for a few moments father use the bible tonight as i teach and preach it empty me of greg locke give me power give me boldness but give me humility as i walk before you and before this congregation both in this room and to the many thousands online i pray that this would be a word that would help us it would wash us it would minister to us lord tonight i want you to use this message to minister to our hearts and to our church and we thank you for it in jesus name and all of god's people said acts chapter 20 is where we are of course these are some of the final days of the apostle paul he still had a good two years left but i mean by final days that he was giving his his final comfort if you will to the elders at ephesus he was letting them know that i know i'm going to die for the gospel i i know i have to go to rome i know it's going to take place i know that i'm never going to see you again but i want to set the record straight he said before i leave i want to remind you of some things that you need to be reminded of and as believers it's good to read the bible to be reminded of all the things that god has done in our life this after all is a season of thanksgiving and may we not be thankful for what god has done one time a year may we be grateful every day of our life for the goodness of god because when things aren't good god still is regardless verse 17 is where i take my text tonight and from my leaders he sent to ephesus and he called the elders of the church so he called for the leadership he called for the pastors he called for the deacons the elders the the volunteers the people that had built the ministry of god there at the ephesian church and when they were come to him notice this he said unto them ye know ye know from the first day that i came into asia after what manner i have been with you at all seasons he said regardless if it was lean or regardless if it was abundance regardless if it was fall or winter or spring or summer regardless if we had a lot or we had a little all seasons he said i completely every single day was faithful to give you the truth of the word of god he's going to talk about that here in just a moment which by the way makes sense for why he told timothy the instant in season out of season there's only two times you should be faithful to god when you feel like it and when you don't and so he says you know what manner of an example what character i had in every season when i felt like it when i didn't feel like it verse 19 serving the lord with all humility of mind not with a false humility not with a religious denominational pretense serving the lord with all humility of mine philippians 2 5 says that let this mind be in you which was also in christ jesus the mind of what verse 4 says the mind of humility remember last week we talked about jesus walking in and washing the dirty filthy feet of his disciples even that of judas iscariot and he says when we serve the lord we serve him with all humility of mine you know how you have humility you be reminded who you would be if it were not for the grace of god you have jack spratt to brag about except jesus i say it all the time i'll say it again anything good in me god did it anything rotten in me i did all that by myself and so did you so he said i'm serving the lord with all humility of mine and notice this and with many tears which by the way the tears were if you will the product of the humility that he had he said listen i was willing to preach boldly and with great demonstrative power but at the end of the day he said it was with many tears he wept before the people there was a time in our ministry that i said god you have got to stop letting me cry every time i preach it started to bother me it started to to make me feel weird and strange and i was like i'm in an emotional basket case every time i get up i cry and i'd go to that tree and i'd say lord what i need you to do is give me more power but take away the tears and god clearly said if i take away the tears i'll take away the power because that's where your power is coming from your brokenness your rawness your ability to relate with the common person because you put your boots on one foot at a time just like they do and he said look my humility produced the tears can i remind you the shortest verse in the bible is not jesus prophesied not jesus prayed not jesus gave jesus wept the brokenhearted savior of the world jesus wept and then he said and i had to deal with some temptations which befell me by the lying and weight of the jews his own people had come against him and i'll be honest with you i would have very little criticism from the world if most of it didn't come from the church not our church the church world lying in weight doing anything they can to trip you up and they are just sitting back hoping that you fail oh they would never say it publicly but they're licking their chops just hoping that you will miserably fall and he said look the temptations that befall me by the lying in the weight of my own people but verse 20 and how i kept back nothing we say it like this leave it all on the field this is not a season of shyness and timidity this is a season of keeping back nothing for the glory of god put it all on the table run as hard as you can go as much as you can go go go and rest when you get to the kingdom yes sir go go go and these are go go go days he said i've not kept back anything i've said what need to be said i've gone where i needed to go i've done what i needed to do i preached what i needed to preach i've kept back nothing that was profitable unto you but i've showed you and have taught you publicly and from house to house he said you know it's one thing for me to grab a microphone and get up in front of everybody and preach he said but i've also told you the same thing behind closed doors in your house over dinner when we were breaking bread he said i've been faithful to preach to the crowds and i've been painful to preach to the few and vance havner rightly said if a man will not preach to a small crowd he will never have a big crowd that god will entrust him with and i'm here to tell you i would preach in this tent on a sunday morning if five people showed up as if there were 5 000 people in this place because the message is just as important from house to house as it is with millions of people watching all over the world and so he said i've kept nothing back from you verse 21 this is a text by the way that just preaches itself it just flows beautifully testifying both to the jews and also to the greeks both sides repentance same message by the way the message doesn't change with the crowd the message stays the same it's repentance toward god and faith towards our lord jesus christ and now behold i go bound in the spirit unto jerusalem not knowing the things that shall befall me there he said look i have no idea what to expect other than god is in control you can't always trace where god's taken you but you can always trust where god's taken you trust in the lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding and all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path you see there's one thing there that we like to preach on and one thing we forget because it makes us uncomfortable he said trust in the lord with all thine heart we love that here's the part we hate and lean not say lean not unto thine own understanding you see we think trusting is then us trying to figure it out just in case god don't come through god doesn't work on a back burner situation he's not a plan b he's not the emergency chute and so he says look i'm to a place where i'm gonna put it all on the field and i don't know what's gonna happen when i get there but i know god's in control when i get there he said but i do know this save that the holy ghost witnesseth in every city saying that bonds and afflictions abide me here's what he said by that he said these afflictions that i've gone through have been for the furtherance of the gospel he said every time they handcuff me it builds the platform every time they curse me it expands the kingdom he said so i know that the holy ghost is using my falling out for your coming up he said god's using all the problems that i'm facing right now all over the world he said people are testifying people are talking about the afflictions that god's allowing me to go through and my afflictions are bringing them to faith in jesus christ now that's some faith right there but i love verse 24 but none of these things move me remember the old song i shall not be i shall not be moved that's what he says right now i shall not be moved none of these things move me why neither count i my life dear unto myself so that i might finish say finish my course with joy you see god doesn't always call you to win but he always calls you to finish he doesn't always call you to win but he always causes you to finish because he's the winner at the end of the day i know how the whole thing turns out we do win but in this context he says what you need to do is just finish the course finish it with joy and the ministry which i have received of the lord jesus the ministry is what to testify of the gospel of the grace of god now notice who called into the ministry who gave it to him you know we have a lot of what i call daddy called mama sent preachers in the american landscape they go up like a rocket come down like a meteorite just like the guy in spain says you know what keeps him there god's calling keeps him there you know what keeps me here god's calling keeps me here you just keep showing up and when you show up god will show out you have to remember who called you to what you are doing you have to remember that the gifts are given by the power of the holy spirit not just because you're a goody tissue person people are born with talent gifts are given by the holy ghost he entrusts us they're stewardships and we need to be good stewards of the ministry that god's given us can i say i don't care if you're an over-the-road trucker a stay-at-home mom a plumber an electrician makes no difference you have a ministry given to you by the power of the holy spirit to proclaim and preach the gospel of jesus christ you have a ministry everybody in this room everybody online you have a ministry from god verse 25 and now behold i know that ye all among whom i have gone preaching the kingdom of god shall see my face no more he's given us a little what we call a swan song now he's like we're going to hug we're going to weep we're going to pray we're going to cry i'm going to walk out get on a boat and we will never look at each other face to face again on this side of eternity ever it seemed rather dismal i mean you have to understand the apostle paul led these people to christ they were elders because of his eldership in their life they were faithful because of his faithfulness in their life this man led them to christ started churches ordained them laid hands upon them he strengthened the brethren and now he says you know what this is it this is my last sermon i'm gone drops the mic walks out can you imagine you don't have to imagine in a moment the bible says they will lift their voice and they will weep over him i mean think about this for a moment i've called a service and everybody is here and i get up and grab the microphone and say well i don't know how it's going to happen but uh they're about to get me for the gospel so this is the finality of any time you will ever see me or hear from me again i'm out drop the mic right that would be kind of a freak out moment i would think i would like to think a few of you would be like why rewind that what and he says this is the last time we're ever gonna look at each other you've heard me preach you've heard me pray you've seen miracles you've watched god do it but you shall no more see my face ever again wherefore because of this fact wherefore i take you to record this day that i am pure from the blood of all men let me tell you something that right there should be every preacher's life passage this is why i leave it all of it this is why i do not care what they say about me on facebook this is why it matters not how many lists i am upon i am pure from the blood of all men you are not gonna not know because i didn't tell you because ezekiel 33 says i'm a watchman you're a watchman we're watchmen on the wall if i tell you and you do nothing with it that's on you but if you do nothing with it because i didn't tell you that's on me and your blood will god require at my hands at the judgment seat and i will be pure from the blood of all men that's why i don't play their games that's why it's easy for people to get online and say my goodness he is the most arrogantly proud field man i've ever met in my life because i refuse to budge i refuse to cut i will be pure from the blood of all men i'll bring the whole house down on my own head so that when i stand before god i can say with a pure heart i told them i told them i told them you will never be able to say with as much criticism as i get you will never be able to say he didn't warn us yes i've warned you and i will continue to warn you with tears night and day as paul said we're just getting started i am pure from the blood of all men why for i have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of god listen i'm not just going to preach all the rosy parts of the bible there's a lot of stuff in the bible i like preaching because it's fun it's preachy it makes people amen and run whoa that's good but there's some stuff that you just got to sit in and be like that's hard to hear i mean you have to understand when i preach the bible the bible convicts me when i preach it i'm up here thinking to myself oh i'm getting shot up by the holy spirit while i'm preaching the bible because i'm not going to skip the parts that make me uncomfortable matter of fact we should marinate more in the parts that make us uncomfortable until we are no longer uncomfortable god's convicting you so you can be less of who you are and more conformed to the image of jesus romans 8 28-29 and so he says very very plainly i have not shunned to give you all the counsel the good parts the bad parts old testament new testament the whole thing the whole council of god i've loaded you down with it take heed therefore unto yourselves and to all the flock he's talking to the leadership over the which the holy ghost has made you overseers to feed the church of god peter puts it this way feed the flock of god among you so let me tell you something i am called and i know this sounds abrasive but it's the truth i am called to feed the sheep not to slop the hogs i'm not called to throw out skittles and unicorns and cotton candy and rosy posey stuff that makes you feel better i'm called to preach the bible and if i'm gonna feed the flock you can't do that with entertainment you do that with the bible word by word line by line book by book story by story phrase by phrase this is what the bible says so he said we have to feed the church of god by the way you know why a lot of people are coming to our church because they're starving at the other ones starving to death people are hungry for truth which he jesus has purchased with his own blood now i'm not real smart but i'm not real stupid either if jesus died for the church you ought to at least appreciate it if jesus died for the body you should show up at the body he shed his blood for the church if he loved it that much shouldn't we love it a little bit too that by the way that by the way is why i'm against is closing jesus died for the church for the body of christ not to forsake the assembling of ourselves against what the bible says for i know verse 29 this is sad for i know this that after my departing shall grievous wolves entering among you not sparing the flock that's why i'm i'm careful what i expose you to and who i expose you to because not everybody with the bible under their arm straight teeth and a bad toupee on their heads been called by the holy ghost there's some crooks out there so i'm careful who i allow to say things from this platform i got to be careful with that because i'm going to give an account to god for what was and was not said and then he says this this is sad also of your own selves shall men arise speak and perverse things to draw away disciples after them trying to try to draw away people draw away people well we just don't like what you're doing we're going to take some people and go across town and start a church we'll pay to do it just to get the drama out of here praise god ((applause)) they think that's a threat i'm like do you promise do you promise you will leave please would you leave in the name of god thank you in jesus name ((applause)) we're not going to have people that are causing disharmony and disunity in the body we're just not therefore watch say watch by the way that's everybody not just a preacher watch pay attention watch and remember that by the space of three years he said i was with you for three years i cease not to warn every one night and day with tears he said i warned you warned you warned you warned you warned you warned your warning people that warned are called q anon conspiracy theorists these days you see everybody thought noah was until crazy started raining and i'm telling people we're building a boat you better get on it because the flood's coming we're warning people night and day with tear whether they listen or not i told my wife today a line's been drawn on the sand everybody in this room including this guy with a microphone has lost friends and family and family because we warned them look i'm gonna say something i'm gonna say something over the course of the next year this will be the worst i told you so in the history of the world i do not look forward to it this is gonna be the worst we told you so ever but we're trying to warn you trying to warn you you care too much about what your boss thinks you care too much about what your mama thinks you care too much about what your compromising pastor thinks you care too much about what some fraudulent president thinks you care too much about what some deacon some elders think you care too much about what's you better pay it we're warning you we're telling you right now this is not going to turn out good this is not going to turn out well this is a plan this is evil this is nefarious and i don't care how mad you get when i say that we are warning you get on the earth the rain is coming ((applause)) get on the ark the rain is coming i'm sick of these pastors getting online mad at us because we're saying what needs to be said their church is dying our church is growing because we're warning people ((music playing)) i don't care i'm mad that makes me i'm sick to the gills stick to the gills over these pastors that say well you know we we don't want to be too abrasive when everybody in your church starts dropping dead you'll wish to god you were more embraced if you compromise her ((music playing)) you spotted this compromiser i've been in the meetings i know what's going on i got inside information i've talked with the big dogs i'm warning you now i'm warning you now pay attention wake up stop listening to these fools they call themselves pastors they are wolves in sheep's clothing i'm about to get tore up praise god ((applause)) i'm done playing games with these people we gotta warn people well you know sometimes y'all's church just gets a little out there do we even hear ourselves sometimes the number of detractors that we have garnered in this church is ridiculous but you know what ticks me off i about said something else you know what pastorally ticks me off the people that we groomed in this church the people that got right with god in this church the marriages we put back together in this church by the power of god the money that we put into these people and they're the ones that leave knowing the truth sitting on their hands and talking about us like we some kind of jim jones snake handling kool-aid drinking nonsense looking for a haley bop comet to come back and then then when i get fired up like this they'll text me hey i've been thinking about i bet you have watching that thing i bet you've been thinking i bet you've been praying for me i don't want your prayers with friends like you who needs enemies backstabbing judas is scared i'm sick of all of them implement themselves into your church and we'll do that in a nice way there's other good churches in this town there's other people around here that are warning right but there's a whole lot of people right here that are mad that we're warning and so at the end of the day he said i see snot for the space of three years to warn you to warn you to warn you to warn you so i don't look forward to the next 18 months when we said hey we told you so but i promise you we told you so you know you remember that right now you call me a false prophet we told you so we told you so and so i got some family i don't even fool with anymore don't even fool with them anymore because they don't want food with me they want to argue well they know well ain't no will won't you give me that well don't you give me no excuses don't tell me why you did this and why you did that if it goes against what the bible says i don't care why you did it stop being a sheep anyhow it's 8 30.

ever seen in my life you'd know it if i was if i was worth 130 billion but none of you have a mortgage payment if i was worth 130 million there would not be a building program in this town of another church that we didn't pay for if they were standing up preaching to god if i was worth 130 million dollars everything in this whole county would be paid off for the glory god and they want to keep on keep on keep on keep on keep it look i ain't coveted no man's silver no man's gold no man's house you can keep your swimming pool and all your insurance liabilities i don't want it i don't need it i don't need enough distractions i got a bible i got a wife ((music playing)) i got some youngins i got a tent church and i got a bicycle ((music playing)) and i'm gonna peddle myself happy and i don't care how mad people get about it don't care don't care all right just thought i'd share that with you i don't i don't want your stuff i don't need it he said i ain't coveted no man's stuff yeah you yourselves know that these hands have ministered under my own necessity and then they were with me he said i paid my own way he said i paid my own way well a lot of people don't recognize they're like oh my goodness i bet it costs five thousand dollars a night to get greg lock you kidding me i'll pay you five thousand dollars and let me come and preach i pay my own gas we don't charge a dime we pay our own plane tickets we pay our own gasoline we we don't charge nothing i never charge to preach and i ain't never gonna charge to preach i got friends say well you know you you could probably make ten or twelve thousand dollars a night well if god wants to give me that that's fine we can give most of it away but i ain't charging it i work with my own hands we'll build our own stuff for the glory of god and so he said look my hands my hands labor diligently to work hard for what god's given me he said i showed you all things how that's so laboring you ought to support the weak by the way that's why you got a job not to support you but to support the weak and to remember the words of the lord jesus how he said it is more blessed to give than to receive praise god i forgot that was even in the text tonight from that often we just took it but i like that i'll read that again that's red letters it is more blessed to give than to receive you don't believe that because you've never tried it now a lot of the other criticisms i can put up with and it's fine because i'm used to them at this point but the criticism about how much our church gives money away you can have that one okay i i get some of the things i say might be a little crazy outlandish willy-nilly might seem like a conspiracy theory but six weeks from now to be truth but at the end of the day the one criticism we do not stand for in our church when people say man my goodness then people just they just they just give money away like water well i'm sorry you grew up in a stingy church that gave 20 bucks a month to missionaries and thought this doing god a favor for the kingdom but that's not the one we're in we're not sitting around on gobs of money we're just not we're not just sitting around somebody saying let's build a pie in the sky you know look if you think in my office which the whole thing's in disarray and a wreck right now praise god we got stuff everywhere we're moving stuff around all the time if you think i've got these big huge ornate plans for some taj mahal bible church building gold chairs look like some kind of trump hotel up in here look if you think i like these ghetto lights we got up in here i like fake grass on the ground and cedar chips flappity flap flaps diesel heaters man i come to church and feel like a farmer i like it i enjoy this place mix-max chairs all over the place we try to make it nice we spruce it up you see this baptismal tank we use man that's some tractor supply special right there we ain't got no plans for anything else we take care of what we got and god takes care of us just fine why because it's more blessed to give than it is received i don't ever want a month in this church we're spending more on us and on this campus than we are giving money a way to bless people and help people and do and do things for the kingdom of god that's what we do right here we give money away why because it's more blessed to give them receipt you say well i just don't know if i believe that well that's cause you ain't tried it i'll give you a money-back guarantee you give to god and see if you don't give it back take god upon it for one month take him up on a warned nobody like paul warned people and paul was bug-eyed and belligerent at times and he said look i believe and they said oh don't leave us they wept cried fell on his neck and kissed him now watch why they were sorrowing most of all for the words which he spake that they should see his face no more and they did what they accompanied him under the ship i said all right man of god let's go hop to it and they took him to the ship can you imagine what that must have been like to put paul on that ship and watch him leave knowing you're never gonna see him again they wept most of all most of all for the words which he spake that they would see him no more the leader of their life the man that led them to christ the man that made them who they were spiritually spiritually they would see him no more and they took him to a boat and they said their goodbyes wow what a powerful moment but it reminds me it should remind me it should remind you it should remind us never ever ever even if you don't have much communication with them anymore never forget the people that god used in your life to get you where you are right now don't ever forget them don't ever forget those people you may not even be on the same page anymore don't forget those people you're not a self-made man you're not a self-made woman you don't pull yourself up by your bootstraps the holy spirit used somebody in your life to pray for you you're a product of somebody's prayer life you're a product of somebody's financial benevolence stewardship sacrifice into your life don't ever forget the people that made you who you are that's why months ago in the other 10 the circus tent they called it that's why we brought jimmy crockett in that's why april the 17th of this next year which happens to be on a sunday it's rare that it would happen this way only so many years that my spiritual birthday would fall on a sunday 30 years of salvation this coming april 30 years and we'll celebrate it together under this tent 30 years ago we're celebrating under this tent but two of the people that we're going to have under this tent that celebrate with us on that day are number one the man that was preaching the night i got saved i found him and i reached out to him and the man that ran the children's home that i grew up in for four years that became the dad that i never had and influenced my life to the place where i'm standing on this platform with this microphone right now but i say all that say this and i'm not done but i'm just going to quit we're going to pray when i called the man that was preaching the night i got saved we've seen each other one time in 30 years at a conference in vegas that i was preaching at he was giving a testimony at he's not in the ministry as far as what he was doing anymore he works at liberty university he took over jerry falwell sunday school class when jerry falwell went to heaven years ago so he does that sunday school class but he doesn't travel as an evangelist anymore he was the cajun evangelist david benoit looks like benoit but i called him and i i found him i don't even know how i found him it was a long thing the lord worked it out i reached out to him i sent him a text i said is this dave benoit he said yeah who's this and i told him so he called me immediately a couple months ago now i've been in contact with him and we talked for a while 30 40 minutes and he said you know what's interesting about this conversation this broke my heart it helped me but it broke my heart he said i couldn't tell you though the thousands of sermons that i've preached all over america and around the world as an evangelist because i did it for 30 years to some of the biggest baptist churches that was the circles that i knew and some of the biggest baptist churches on the planet he said there's times i would give the invitation and a thousand people would come to the front in these huge crusades and respond to the gospel 30 years he said i did it and before we hung up the phone micah he said you are the only convert in 30 years that's ever reached out to me and thanked me the only convert in 30 years now that blessed me that i felt the need to do that but it crushed me because we forget the people that made us who we are we forget the men and women of god that labored on their knees to give us what we have somebody paid the way for us to have revival in this tent it wasn't me somebody else and paul paved the way for these people and he said man i've been preaching to you for a long time but i'm never going to see you again and they're like this is the saddest day of our life we love this man of god as much as we love anybody in our life but we love this man and we're never going to see him again and they walked into the boat and blew their kisses and said their goodbyes and never saw him again until they slipped off into eternity and what a reunion that must have been so what paul was doing in the context of this scripture is what we continue to do in this church set the record straight i got time for games these are days of urgency these are days of anticipation these are days of expectancy these aren't days of loose ends you hear me these aren't days of loose ends god is bringing the dregs to the top and pushing them off with the foam he's separating sheep from the goats we done figured out who's in the fight and who's fighting against us we're gonna figure it out so as far as i'm concerned line's been drawn i'm gonna set the record straight i ain't stopping we're not quitting we're not rolling around in the dirt oh my goodness let's just compromise you know no no none of it i'm not i'm not playing with i'm not playing our games i don't care i don't care how many people leave i don't know how many people show up because when five people leave 500 show up to see why they left okay so i'm not i'm not playing our games we are not bending to your demands you understand that we are not bending to your demands we're not there's no reason to and so i'm just telling you i'm not and so i know tonight i've been a little bit in rare form i guess i suppose but i'm fired up a little bit about some stuff i'm gonna do a live video about it maybe tomorrow called we're not bending to your demands but by the way did i tell you the county sided with against us community that was trying to close us down and the county attorney said leave these people alone they just don't have church ((music playing)) so we just keep praying for our neighbors i say neighbors we bought everybody out but him let's pray for the neighbor they put it on him mount julia they was going to have a big zoning meeting and so they all showed up with their pitch forks right line of them i wasn't there our civil engineer and greg was there and i was out of town i'm glad i was because i may have been in some warning rare form amen because i wasn't going to get permission to keep the church open i was just going to make sure we're in compliance doing right all they want to talk about well he's a national security threat they don't pay attention to covent protocols and and the attorney and the guy there the the counterparty like hey that's not why we're here there's a zoning meeting we don't care if you like the guy or not the zoning meeting right well you know we make a motion what they ought to do is go back in their building and have like six services a weekend because they're too loud ((music playing)) i hate to be the bearer of bad news but we just put in new speakers tonight and this weekend these on the side are going to be replaced by these bigger ones and so we're not trying to be abrasive we just try to warn people ladies and gentlemen about what's going on in this town ((applause)) so they zoned everything we were in full comply we've been doing some stuff this next week that we didn't got to do just so we can be good neighbors because like a good neighbor global vision is there amen ((applause)) we just we just trying to be good and kind and compassionate but they just keep on and keep on and keep on so before i pray i just i'd like to say again we are not bending to your demands which is not so i'll see you sunday at 10 30. it's gonna be beautiful father blessed tonight we thank you so much for the opportunity even when we get a little bit abrasive lord i thank you that we have a church that can handle it they know i love them so they'll take the hard preaching and so lord i pray you'll bless in-house and online protect us bless us honor us use us for the glory
