good morning church what a beautiful day all right lord would you release some coffee yes over the whole congregation the spirit of caffeine is loose that's funny right everyone that is pretty good we're here to do some announcements we're kind of like the opening act yeah i know this is y'all's favorite time favorite part of the service don't bombard us when we come down yeah bro start a line they get a lot of letters that's probably why um okay guys super big announcement um miss ty has taken over the kids ministry yes so if you are looking to volunteer um please see my mom on the front row we're so glad you're here for this palm sunday service amen hallelujah all right bible study 6 a.m with pastor greg at the hilton garden end 6 a.m for you early birds come hang out with pastor greg as he reads the word and gets into words awesome also there will be no iron man tomorrow night because we're having a big event here tomorrow i'm sure pastor greg can talk about more about that later but iron man this is an awesome time to serve because milo needs help with parking at tomorrow's event arrive at 4 00 p.m if you can help the event starts at six so we need some help getting these cars in here hallelujah all right the youth the youth will meet on campus saturdays at five don't forget to sign your students up for this year's summer camp camp will be the last week of july they will leave monday the 25th come back friday at 29th so if you want to sign your student up see jesse or brittany also if the students want to go hiking at rock island state park on saturday the 30th they need to get a waiver and packing checklist from jesse and brittany man they got a lot going on you think i could pass this 15 i don't know but i'm sure they need a chaperone that sounds like funny yeah i might have chaperone i love that place that'd be pretty cool that would be fun um okay my mom's bible study uh the secret place is every tuesday night at 7 p.m at the hilton garden inn global vision young adults is every saturday night at 5 00 p.m we have bible study food games sometimes we go out we did the escape game and we had a picnic yesterday and we did like a painted prayer thank you miss faith for the idea but we did a painted prayer so so much stuff coming up especially because it's about to get warmer out and a lot of stuff coming up so if you're ages 18 to 25 and would like to join please come see me and my husband on the front row um i'm praying all the cold weather's behind us by now i hope i'm ready for spring i have like this whole spring attire and i you came to church today to hear something from the lord church amen god's about to do some miracle signs and wonders in our midst he's about to set some folks free turn some homes around bring some prodigals home some cancer is going to get healed some people going to get born again devil's going to get cast out baptismal water is going to be stirred financial abundance is going to come to your house no sickness shall come now you're dwelling i say open up the windows and let him in shout to the lord this morning church shout to the lord let the neighbors hear and know we serve a god in heaven that is on the throne hallelujah we don't serve a dead jew in a palestinian tomb we serve a risen savior shout hallelujah this morning ((applause)) you may be seated all over the house or you can run for all i care amen thank you for being here hallelujah open up the windows and let the light in let the glory of the lord rise amongst his people god is doing the work in our midst god's doing a work all over this nation in churches that are awake and paying attention to what the power of the holy spirit's doing the days of god's presence are upon us god's glory is rising across this nation around the world it doesn't matter what the news media tells you it doesn't matter what the left tells you it doesn't matter what the devil tells you i'm telling you what god tells you and what god says is in the last days i'm going to pour out my spirit upon all flesh and god is doing that god's keeping his word since the day of pentecost and until that great and notable terrible day of the lord you better know he's going to continue to fart his spirit and i'm not asking god for a third great awakening we're believing god for the greatest awakening that this world has ever seen and i just want to be a small part of it and thank the lord that the lord's doing something in our midst i want to give you a couple of announcements before we ready our hearts minds and hands to give benevolently and graciously and generously sacrificially to the work of the lord of course next week is resurrection sunday amen and it is going to be a good good time of course for every church that that is preaching the gospel and standing for truth it's always one of the biggest services of the entirety of the year and so we have another five or six hundred chairs that we've rented we can get them in here and we'll figure out a place to put them don't you worry about that we'll we'll make sure that everybody's comfortable but it's gonna be good last year we were in the other tent which was a huge tent but not as huge as this hugest tent and uh so but it was packed and it was standing room only on easter and then lo and behold within about three months we were running every sunday what we were running on easter and so we'll see what happens this particular year it's been that way the last few years and so there's going to be a lot of people here but let me tell you why resurrection sunday next week is going to be a little bit special for me even more so than the fact that uh we celebrate the resurrection because i'll be honest i celebrate the resurrection every day not just every night and again around march and april right jesus is a live church he's alive that's the gospel but next sunday and it actually falls on a sunday april 17th is exactly 30 years to the day when i walked an aisle in a revival meeting at metro baptist church in nashville tennessee and receive the lord jesus christ as my savior and so not only do i get to celebrate with you resurrection sunday i get to celebrate with you 30 years of salvation and preaching the gospel of the lord jesus christ and so i'm excited about that and uh i've got a couple of special guests that'll be up here we're just going to honor them on the platform during the offering time maybe give them a few moments let them say a word but i found a couple of people that mean a whole lot to me one of them i've only seen one other time in 30 years uh i found the evangelist that was preaching the night i got saved and i found my basketball coach that took me the side room and led me to jesus and i got both of them coming next week the man that was preaching and the man that led me to the lord through the romans road amen and so they're going to be here next week we're going to honor him and that's going to be a great and wonderful time and so don't miss out on that and yes we've had many many people call and ask will we still be doing mass deliverance on sunday evening for easter and the answer is absolutely we will it'll probably be one of the largest uh mass deliverance services that we've had i say that they've been growing so exponentially tonight will be week number seven for our mass deliverance service and if you have not been through one yet i know many of you are here today and you drove in or flew in or walked in or wrote a mule in or something to be here today and also tonight for the mass deliverance service be here doors open at five o'clock into the tenth we start right at six o'clock sometimes we'll give a little window between six and 605 but let me remind you if you get here at 6 15 you will get turned away no matter if you walk from alaska you cannot be here past 6 15 because you will already begin to miss some of the very important elements on what deliverance is and why it's important in the bible and why it's important to our church do not be past 6 15. we have literally we don't like to do it but we have literally had people show up at 6 30 and 6 45 that came a very very very long ways and we told them we're sorry it's not streamed we don't allow cameras in this particular service for obvious reasons you'll have to come back to the next one we don't be a jerk but if you do not get to go through the renunciations and the forgiveness time deliverance is not going to do anything for you you've got to be here for the beginning of that so tonight at six o'clock doors open at five o'clock right here in the 10th and uh it'll be good we'll have everything that you need you say what do i do you just show up and expect god to work miracles in your life the only thing tonight you have to lose is demons amen and so i'm telling you our mass deliverance service is beautiful and i know we have a lot of people that come in from other churches every sunday night because you know they're obviously at their church now or they're watching and they're about to hop in a car or on an airplane it happens every single week but if you're already under the tent and you're planning to be here tonight for our mass deliverance service just slip your hand up just for a moment if you are already planning to be okay that's going to be a whole lot of people tonight for our mass deliverance service it's going to be a beautiful beautiful time and so make sure again doors open at 5. get here and we begin right at 6 between 605 something like that we'll give you a few rules we'll have a lot of workers and prayer warriors and servants and people in here tonight that will be helping you on our deliverance prayer team and we'll kind of let you know but please do not test the waters and get here past 6 15 because i promise you our guys i won't even know it they won't even tell me but you will not be able to get in the tent and so please please please get here promptly tomorrow night i want to just say this and then we'll get right to the offering tomorrow night is a is a special gathering not necessarily a special service but a special gathering remember last year real america's voice showed up and we did a live town hall with a number of folks we have another one tomorrow night but it's a little bit of a different setting we're going to be hosting it it's called exposing propaganda and don't you think we need to expose all the propaganda nonsense that's going on in this nation especially with the lying leftist fake news well tomorrow night uh ty and charlene bollinger will be helping us host the event we're going to be showing a a trailer to a brand new exposing the propaganda documentary that our church and myself happens to be a part of and so you don't want to miss that but tomorrow night i'll also be speaking they will be speaking and uh we have our friend john schneider going to be back with us tomorrow night amen and so john schneider and his wife are going to be back with us under the 10th and then my dear friend the one and only legendary roger stone's going to be back in the house tomorrow night i mean be our third time to have roger and every time we have roger people try to burn the tent down and so security be on hand amen we've been vandalized the last two times we had roger stone but he's going to be here tomorrow night and so that event is from six to eight o'clock it's not a registered event just get here and it's going to be a beautiful beautiful beautiful time and we will not for our online community we will not be streaming the event but real america's voice news will be streaming the event live and we'll make sure that we get the link out they'll have their entire crew here tomorrow and the bus will be here i think under the tent they're gonna be doing a lot of different interviews and live shows and things on location and on the spot tomorrow so tomorrow night six o'clock to eight o'clock even if you have to come late we'll let you in on that one okay but if you have to come late then come and be a part of uh what i believe the lord's gonna do tomorrow night to open some people's hearts and minds to the propaganda and the nonsense that's all around us because here's what the propagandists won't tell you we really are winning and there are far more of us than there are of them and we may not have the news media in our hip pocket but we got the truth of the word of god ladies and gentlemen we got the truth and we're going to expose some propaganda tomorrow night so do not miss out on that it's going to be a glorious time but again my favorite thing to talk about is the fact that somebody's alarm's going off that's the devil shut that thing off right now in the name of the lord and tonight make sure that you come to mass deliverance even if you were not planning on coming to mass deliverance i promise you it will be one of the most remarkable experiences you have ever been involved in we are getting text messages every day we're getting voicemails we're getting all sorts of letters in the mail of people that have been healed set free and are receiving freedom in the lord jesus christ and so make sure that you are here tonight it is going to be a beautiful beautiful time at six o'clock well let's go into a time of giving and you know that we don't mind talking about money around here because we give it away and we love to bless other people now i'm going to be honest last week was our 10th week anybody that knows us knows that is not exaggeration that is not evangelistically speaking that is the truth for 10 straight weeks we have not yet at all taken an offering for our church not on a sunday or on a wednesday now through the week god brings it in somebody gives somebody comes by somebody mail something in something coming online so god always takes care of our needs but on a weekend or a wednesday not one time in 10 weeks have we taken an offering for ourselves and i'm here to tell you this is a this is a big operation of a tent it's not cheap we're doing gravel we're doing everything getting ready for the spring and coming in with all the the flowers and the bushes and all the extra things that we have to do and we've been doing a lot of construction work and a lot of things have been happening technologically and just getting things where it needs to be and so it's not that we haven't had expenses we have but we have yet to take one offering for us and so here's what's interesting the other day i said you know what i think i'll just finally i'll get up on the 11th sunday back under this tent after the tornado tore it down the 11th sunday and we'll just have a generalized offer we'll just have a generic offering and say okay let's just give and let's just bless the house of the lord and we'll take care of the needs that we have both known and unknown and then then sam childers reached out to me the machine gun preacher remember remember we had the machine gun preacher here he's in uganda and he just reached out randomly in a text a day and a half ago or so and he said hey i just i want you to pray we have a wednesday deadline for one of our orphanages and we just can't get people to to get behind us in a big way and i'm like oh really yeah no surprise there in the stingy church world right oh we love the gospel we love churches we love orphans you know but you know here's 50 bucks enjoy yourself you know you can't even enjoy yourself at mcdonald's for 50 bucks these days and so he said we have a deadline and so immediately when i read this text from sam i'm like okay we're not going to take an offer for us this weekend amen we're going to take an offering for the machine gun preacher and his orphanage in uganda and so we're going to make sure that they get what they need god will take care of us we'll worry about taking care of ourselves and getting ourselves an offering he needs fifty thousand dollars by wednesday and we're gonna give it to him all right every single dime of it we're gonna make sure that he gets that fifty thousand dollars so in-house and online globalvisionbc.comgive always fill it out so you know the word and we want to be faithful and we want to give simply because look i was just going to just get up just take one for us and day and a half ago he sent that i said no that's of the lord right there it's not every day you get a text from africa saying look can't get any help i need it by wednesday can you please just pray about it and see what you can do and by the way we gave him when he was here the first time we gave him one of the if not the largest offering that he's ever received in the history of his ministry and when you can get a guy like machine gun preacher to break down crime in the parking lot you know you got a cool church right there you know you got a cool church and so let's be faithful in the way that we give today and uh we'll make sure that he gets that money that he is going to need and that my wife and i we never ask you to do something we're not doing ourselves and so we'll be giving as well and so let's pray and let's be released in a spirit of generosity both in-house online other people will watch this later and they will go back and they will give but i want to make sure that they are blessed abundantly and if we go over and above that goal which i'm pretty certain that we will because when we have something like that our people especially online just are unleashed by the thousands in generosity and we're just able to give that money away so much if we go over and above that then tomorrow night we're going to have a guest that's going to be with us one of our dear friends pastor ken peters of the patriot church in knoxville and uh i just found out the other day that they are able finally after all this time to purchase the building that they are in and they've not been able to do that it's been a complete they get the land they get the cabins they get the church auditorium they get all of it they get everything that goes with it so anything we get above and beyond what we're going to give to the machine gun preacher and his ministry there in uganda we'll just make sure tomorrow night we give pastor ken a check for patriot church that's a good idea amen we're going to take care two ministries in one offering so father bless the word of the lord in just a bit as we hear it bless our hearts as we continue to worship bless us now meet our needs as we pray release us in a spirit of giving and a spirit of sacrifice and a spirit of obedience in a spirit of worship because we know that we cannot out give you so anoint this offering so that we can bless the man of god in uganda we can bless the man of god in knoxville and lord we can bless men and women of god all around the world we have learned over and over and over again and keep teaching us the lesson that it's not about our campus it is about your kingdom and when we sow into the kingdom you sow into the campus so lord we know we can't out give you because we can't outgod you because you're a giver by your very nature so release us now in house and online with an abundance an extravagant offering good measure pressed down shaken together and running over that we can bless not just one but both of these men of god in a massive way and we're going to thank you for it in jesus name and all of god's people said god bless you as you give ((music playing)) i was reading about palm sunday earlier in the week and i read something that somebody wrote it was it was quite profound it talked about how the people of israel celebrated the king they expected and crucified the savior a few days later and i and i thought about that and i thought about how we come in with these expectations of who god is and what he is and and everything that encapsulated the king of kings and the lord of lords and we try to put him in a box that we can see in a box that we understand and how both times when he walked into that city the first on a donkey and the second carrying the cross he was exactly what the people of israel needed and he comes with exactly what we need when exactly the time is appropriate and right ((music playing)) so today as we're celebrating palm sunday i want to just impress on you the fact that sometimes the king of kings shows up and it's like oh god i knew i knew you were going to be there and then sometimes he comes unexpectedly and i don't think the people of israel were expecting a messiah a sacrifice a lamb they were expecting somebody to come in with bright shiny armor and to walk in and all hail because that's what they had always known but i don't know about you but it's times like this in the church when god is coming and it's not what i've always known but it make it doesn't make it any less holy it doesn't make it any less anointed it doesn't make it any less the savior so as we're experiencing a whole new level of of the lord of christ as a church and as a body and as a globe and he's coming unexpectedly this is not the last time he's going to come unexpectedly ((music playing)) so let's not put the king of kings into a box that we can recognize ((music playing)) let's worship him for who he is for every facet that he chooses to show us for every way he wishes to work in our lives let's stand and worship the king of kings the lord of lords the alpha the omega the risen the living jesus christ of nazareth ((music playing)) we worship you text today the gospel according to luke and the fourth chapter and so i trust that you have your bible and we've tried to make it a habit to get people in the habit of bringing their bible to church and uh when you go to a restaurant you order a meal they bring it out on a plate not on a napkin they don't throw in your lap and uh and you don't eat it off a screen right bring your bible it's the plate whereby we can use the feast of the lord to put it upon and so we're not called global vision newspaper church we're not called global vision facebook church we're called global vision bible church and so bring your bible somebody say amen right there all right the american church which is far too american and not enough church has got into a habit of not bringing the bible and worshiping in the dark i say turn the lights on and open the bible amen and let's get back to the book and so that's just my little rant for the morning stand with me please out of reverence for the reading of god's word luke chapter number four we'll pick up the reading in verse number 13. got a lot to talk about from the bible and so we got to jump right in blessed is the preacher that can get off the ground without a lot of runway so we're not going to use any so let's just jump in and let the text soar all right luke chapter 4 verse 13 and when the devil had ended all the temptation he departed from him that's jesus for a season and jesus returned in the power of the spirit into galilee and there went out of fame of him through all the region round about and he taught in their synagogues being glorified of all and he came to nazareth where he had been brought up and as his custom was he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day and stood up for to read and there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet isaiah and when he had opened the book he found the place where it was written the spirit of the lord is upon me because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted to preach deliverance to the captives and recovering of the sight to the blind to set at liberty them that are bruised to preach the acceptable year of the lord and he closed the book and he gave it again to the minister and sat down and the eyes of all of them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him and he began to say unto them this day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears thank you for standing and may be seated and just for the next little bit i want to preach on the simple subject he came to set the captives free father i pray that you would get glory over every word that is spoken may every time my mouth opens i say that which only pleases and honors you and anything of myself take those thoughts on those words away and eradicate them because today we want it to all be about the lord jesus christ well thank you for everybody in this room thank you for everybody that is watching now and those that will watch later captivate our hearts stir our imagination and lord i pray that you would give us a desire to know you deeper than we've ever known you before show us today in a new light with a fresh revelation and understanding the truth and the power and the impact of the ministry of the lord jesus christ and may we follow suit you told us to follow you to the ends of the earth and so i pray that today you would teach us how you ministered to a broken generation around you keep distractions to a minimal and father when we leave we'll be careful to give you the honor because you deserve all of it in the mighty name of jesus and all of god's people said in luke chapter 4 you have the ending of what we often look at in matthew chapter 4 just for the sake of the story and the narrative and the chronology of jesus being 40 days in the wilderness with the devil during those 40 times the 40 days we have three times of temptation in which jesus responded the same way every time he did not carry on a psychological observation he did not simply evaluate the devil he did not come to him with all types of educational jargon he simply said it is written it is written it is written and you better know there is still power in the word of the living god this morning under this tent and the anointing is upon the word and if you will stay in the word the anointing will be upon you would you say amen if you believe that there is power in this book that we call the bible there is something about the word of god this sharp two-edged sword piercing even to the divining asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and mirror and as a discerner of the thoughts and the intents of the heart there's something about the bible that the devil can't stand it exposes him for who he is may we always stick to the truth of the word of god so at the end of this 40 days of temptation in the wilderness verse 13 is where we pick up and when the devil had ended the temptation he departed from him for a season matthew 4 says that it was during that time that angels came and ministered unto him now i'm not real smart but don't say amen that i'm real stupid either if jesus needed to be ministered to then you better know we need to be ministered to by the angels of god sometimes we just need to learn to stop and to rest in the presence of the lord and yet the bible says that the devil left him only for a season because he always comes back he tries new tricks new wilds new deceptions new lies new forms of engagement in the warfare and the bible said that he left him for a season verse 14. and jesus returned i love this in the power of the spirit and i know this is talking about the lord jesus but you better hear me by way of a principle right here in the bible you will never have more power in your life from god until you have a lot of pressure from everybody else that's around you even the apostle paul said most gladly therefore will i now glory in my infirmities comma that the power that the power that the power of christ may rest upon me there are no shortcuts to spirituality and if you are looking for easy street christianity you'll have to go to another church to find it there is no simple peel that you can pop other than the gospel so that you and i can be filled with the power of the holy ghost and have the authority and the anointing of the word of god and the bible says that jesus spoke the word and the devil left and after 40 days of literal temptation and fasting then he was powerful and everybody knew and if you want to get hooked into the power stop trying to evacuate every time god allows some problems to come into your life because problems will mold you for the power can i get a witness and there went out a fame of him throughout all the region around about verse 15 and he taught in their synagogues and he did that often and i find it interesting that nine times out of ten when he taught in their synagogues he would teach in such a way that the common people would get it and the religious people would get mad let me say something that may be off-putting but it's the truth sometimes jesus said stuff to purposely tick people off now i know in this man be pamby you know pampered society where you got to play everybody's little pronoun games and you can't hurt anybody's feelings and you got to be so pc that it's nonsense i know that we don't hear about that much well you know what you ought to do is just be meek and mild you know have a little bit of boldness but but don't be a jerk and don't make people uncomfortable what you want to do is stand up and open the bible and do it exactly like jesus i wish one good sunday i would do it exactly like jesus you wouldn't come back on easter i guarantee you ((applause)) i'm sick of this idea that jesus was some kind of effeminate of a preacher that stood up there in a pair of skinny jeans and said well every day is a friday you just live in your sin just live in your fornication you want to smoke weed and come to church it's all good the hood it ain't no big deal you ain't got to read the bible oh you want to shack up with your girlfriend well that's all good i put my blessing upon it you can believe what you want to doctrine's not important you can worship me you can worship baphomet you can worship the pope you can worship the devil you can do anything that you ain't got to pray you ain't got to give i just want to be a sweet and kind limp wristed jesus so i can go along with the culture that is an abomination that ain't jesus that's an abomination that's a demon's what that is jesus said stuff to make people think jesus said stuff to run people off well you know wasn't too long ago you ran some people out of the church jesus did too jesus did too i hear larry over there he's in rare form man praise god sounds like he's about to light a stick of dynamite over he's beating some rocks this morning people ask us all the time what is your neighbor doing look he's making a mess but here's the interesting thing there's nothing that he's doing other than finding more rocks to beat when we get started at 10 30 amen so it's all good cause i'm gonna tell you a little secret about larry kent god's gonna change that man's heart that man's gonna get born again that man's gonna walk up in his tent and fall out through the power of the holy ghost so somebody go over and shake his hand on his tractor and let him know god's got your number larry that didn't cost nothing get out of that sound system devil get out in jesus name and he came to nazareth where he had been brought up and as his custom was he went into the synagogue it's got a nice rhythm to it doesn't it i'm gonna start rapping while i'm reading the bible here in a minute he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day and he stood up for the reeds he goes in the synagogue and they're like this is that jesus guy and he stands up because it's his turn to say something it's his turn to take the microphone if you will so he stood up for to read i love this verse 17. and there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet isaiah by the way that was not accidental that was divinely providential is what that was and he was about to rock their world with the word of god and when he had opened the book i like this he found the place so he finagled through the text a little bit he knew what he was going it didn't just plop open no no he found the text he knew exactly what he was about to say he found the place where it was written now when we get into verse 18 and 19 here's the interesting thing for 30 years i have been saved and set free by the power of the gospel in april uh 17 92 got born again november the 5th of 92 started preaching at 16. i'll tell you something this verse or at least the verse that it's based off of in isaiah 61 1 has always been my life verse when i chose it as a 16 year old teenager ignorant of the bible it was because it's the verse the holy ghost used to call me to preach but i had absolutely no idea that it was a predictive influence as to the ministry of jesus and what it was going to be like i had no idea that it was going to be basically the prophetic life verse of all that jesus did and all that jesus was i had no idea that it was the life verse of the late great billy sunday most of the time he would just simply preach extemporaneously from his memory with no notes he would open his bible to isaiah 61 1 he would plop it open and then preach like a wild man i had no idea that this verse was so going to so radically influence me that years later after evangelism we would start a church and right here on this pulpit would be burnt in engraved in isaiah 61 1. and it's interesting to me that of all the times i knew and thought i understood the contextual flow of isaiah 61 1. i never got an understanding of what it really meant until i read luke 4 18 and 19. these are red letters in the bible these aren't greg letters these aren't global vision conclusions these are red letters in the word of god this is the way that jesus read the prophetic fulfillment of himself about the flow of his ministry so watch what begins to happen i'm going to read the verse we're going to go back and un-package it the spirit that's capital s holy spirit of the lord is upon me because he hath anointed he has equipped he has anointed he has poured forth upon me to do what jesus to preach the gospel to the poor he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted to preach deliverance to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind to sit at liberty them that are bruised to preach the acceptable year of the lord that is a gospel mouthful right there in red letters in your bible and i have read that i have quoted that i promise you 10 000 times through the years but not the luke 4 18 version so when i began to read the luke 4 18 version it began to develop and envelope itself in my heart in a whole new prophetic way and i began to understand the atmosphere of what jesus meant when he said in luke 19 10 i came to seek and to save that which was lost he did not just come to be a handyman he didn't come just to do miracles the miracles validated the message that he preached and i'm here to tell you when jesus came to this earth the bible says that his own received him not but to as many as received him to them gave you the power to become the sons of god and he that knew no sin became sin for us that we might be made the righteousness of god in him jesus is the gospel you understand that he is the gospel and he is the only way to almighty god john 14 6. but notice the progression of what takes place verse 18 the spirit of the lord is upon me because here's the special anointing he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor now here's what's interesting there's only one gospel in the bible first corinthians 15 1-4 says that the gospel is the death the burial and the resurrection he died was buried and rose again according to the scriptures we hear a lot about civic gospel social gospel educational gospel medical gospel that's all good finding will but there's only one saving gospel and that is the death the burial and the resurrection of jesus christ that's the gospel if you add anything to that you don't have a gospel you take anything away from that you don't have a gospel the gospel is the fact that jesus was butchered they killed him he went to a borrowed tomb and three days later he rose from the dead and up from the grave he arose with a mighty conqueror or his foes he arose victorious over the vast domain and he lives forever with his saints to reign hallelujah jesus arose church he arose and we've got a church today 2000 years later because jesus is alive we shall live forever too and he came to preach the gospel notice he came to preach the gospel to the poor he's not just talking about people that could sit on a dime and dangle both legs that lost their social security income he's not talking about people that are poor and impoverished that can be notated in the context he's not just referring to people that live on skid row he's not just referring to people that we would call homeless as it were he's referring to the fact that each and every person that has ever been born of a woman was born in a poor spiritual condition we were born into original sin as by one man's sin entered into the world and death by sin so then death passed upon all men for that all have sinned and you can take the richest person on the planet without jesus they're bankrupt they're bankrupt broke as a joke poor is job's turkey as granny used to say whatever that means but that's broke right there and what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul and you can take all the money of warren buffett you can take all the money of elon musk you can take all the money of george soros and his wicked people you can take all that money of bill gates and you can put it in one account and not any of it will buy you in to god's heaven none of it none of it will he said he came to preach the gospel to the poor and by the way is that not the responsibility we come to preach the gospel to the poor the gospel is the magic sauce the gospel is the very thing that has grown this church the gospel is what grows your life grows your home grows your marriage it's the gospel it's the gospel it's the gospel that's the only secret sauce we've got because romans 1 16 says i'm not ashamed of the gospel for it the gospel is the power of god unto salvation to everyone that believeth to the jew first and also to the greek the gospel still does the work and some of you need to know you are not going to heaven because you came to church you're not going to heaven because you're a good person there is none good but one and that is god you're a rotten person and so am i that's why we need the gospel you're not going to heaven because you get baptized you're not going to heaven because you come to a six o'clock deliverance service you're not going to heaven because you got money in the bank or the lack thereof you're not going to money to heaven because you you can pay your way into the kingdom of god you're not going to heaven because you're a baptist a methodist a presbyterian a pentecostal or a catholic you're going to heaven because of the gospel of jesus christ and he came to preach the gospel and some of you need to know today that you need to repent and believe the gospel because it's the one and only way to the kingdom but notice jesus came to preach the gospel to the poor and then watch this he has sent me god says the father sent him to heal the brokenhearted now what i've never watched noticed and paid attention to was the progression of the ministry of jesus you'll notice that the gospel is first that the preaching of the salvation to the kingdom is first he came to preach the gospel you see nothing else we do even matters without the truth of the gospel because if we just preach do this and do this and do this and do that and do this and do that at the end of the day we're just a bunch of goodie tissue individuals that do a bunch of nice stuff and give a bunch of money away but still cannot buy our way into the presence of almighty god he said what you do first is preach the gospel and then the flow of the gospel what we call the full gospel the results of the gospel the tangible efforts of the gospel that are produced are such to send to be sent to heal the brokenhearted circle that word brokenhearted in your bible because now he's going to go from the gospel saving us from our sin to the mercy and grace and love compassion and forgiveness of jesus healing our hearts emotionally that have been broken and been disturbed and some of you in this room today you're brokenhearted but you've come to the right place because there is a bomb in gilead there is an ointment in the savior the lord jesus christ whereby your broken heart can be mended whereby your broken home can be restored your broken marriage can be put back together again not with a band-aid but with the absolute positive victorious power of the lord jesus christ he said i came to preach the gospel and i came to heal the brokenhearted and some of you are filled to overflowing with a spirit of heaviness and a broken wounded heart somebody walked out on you you went through a divorce some irrational relationship took a turn for the worse and now you're so and you've lost your identity because your identity was solely fixed and the person that you were with and the person you were with decided to go and get with someone else and therefore you'd lost your identity because all that you were was wrapped up in that man all that you were was wrapped up in that moment and now you're left with a hole in your soul and you hear me preach and tears well up in your eyes because you're broken-hearted and i'm here to tell you god can mend your broken heart today i've been shocked at the level of believers in churches like ours that walk around the whole of their life with brokenness we have been taught from the pulpit that depression is the normalcy of christianity yeah the bible talks about peace that passes all understanding and the bible talks about joy and rivers of living water flowing forth from our belly and abundance and the abundant life that jesus came to give us and we hear it preach from the stage but it's not much of a reality there are very few people i know in the world that can fully relax and just rest in his presence because something's always stirring that brokenness something's always agitating that hardship that you went through that resentment that you carry for people that you should have forgiven a long time ago regardless that they were right or wrong you want to be right do you not some of you carry around with you the load of abandonment some of you were not wanted from birth and you have been cursed with abandonment issues and you know what it's doing exactly what the neighbor's doing ((music playing)) huh thank you larry that's what it's doing it's eating your marriage away it's eating your prayer life away you're so brokenhearted that you went from brokenness to bitterness and the people you hate are not hurt one bit but it's destroying you and you walk around like an orphan when you've been adopted into the family of god and you're a son and a daughter of the most high god and he said i came to heal the brokenhearted so i find the interesting thing that here's the progression he says look let me tell you what i'm gonna do i'm gonna save you through the gospel and then i'm gonna begin that inner healing work i'm going to begin to emotionally connect you to your creator and get you past all the things that cause you to be broken hearted to begin with which sets us up for the next thing he says which should be no surprise 25 weeks in to preach what's that next word deliverance say it again yeah that's more than a burt reynolds movie that's a bible principle to preach what to preach deliverance to the captives so let me just jump in because people like well you know you've just mashed the gas for 25 weeks and all you've talked about is deliverance deliverance deliverance deliverance and i just i just don't know if i see it in the bible have you paid any attention did you just see the third reason that jesus showed up on this earth was to preach deliverance not to preach every day of friday not to preach you will always be healthy wealthy and wise have a rolex watch a bentley in a lear jet and a huge home no no he said i came to preach deliverance why did jesus preach deliverance because people are captive people are slaves they're in bondage they're in sin they're in chains and they need deliverance in the name of god so we don't have to preach an entire 45 minute to an hour message to defend deliverance because in one fell swoop jesus defended himself well i just don't think deliverance ministry is really all that it's cracked up to be well then apparently you've never read a bible because the third thing that the anointing of jesus calls him to do was preach deliverance to the captives it's what the bible says and by the way i find it interesting that the next thing he does is healing ((music playing)) it comes after the deliverance because what some of you gonna find out tonight at our six not 6 15 our six o'clock mass deliverance service as you've been praying for healing that you ain't got and you're discouraged but you know why you ain't got it because you've got a spirit of infirmity that has to be cast out before the healing can come you don't need healing first you need deliverance that will lead to your healing that's the progression of the bible and so it plainly says he came to preach deliverance he came to preach deliverance he came to preach deliverance to the captives why because people are bound up now let me tell you what i'm finding in the church world even in the context of our church and i know we have a lot of people that come from all over america right fact how many of you just in the message help me out if you are not from the great state of tennessee stand up just a minute if you are here for today's service but you are not from tennessee stand up look at this look at this look at this look at this this every week for two years thank you maybe seated so we have people that come here people that visit here and people that watch here all the time and they are bound in chains but still very much religious and sometimes have a great sincere desire to serve the lord because let me tell you what i'm finding as a pastor you can come to church and sing the songs on the screens and still be in chains them chains don't keep you from singing you can come to church in shackles and chains and still come to the altar huh shuffle but you can come some of you been arrested you know what don't look at me this global vision you can be honest about it around here ((applause)) look did you know you can semi dance in chains huh you can have chains all over you and be singing i'll hear those chains falling and be like whoa yeah i hear them chains on my arms and on my legs and on my marriage and with the methamphetamines and pills that i got and you can come and dance and shout with chains on you can pray in chains you can pray in tongues while you wearing chains you can come to church on resurrection sunday and put on 115 dollar suit from jcpenney and be in chains we take up an offering for the machine gun preacher and bless his orphanage in uganda and you can give in chains you can write a check in chains you can have a half decent marriage in chains amazing what it'd be like if you take them off you can go to work in chains you can drive a car in chains there's very little in life that you can't do with chains around you except one thing claim freedom you can go church be all chained up you can sing they all chained up you can get in the baptismal duncan take be all chained up come to the altar come to deliverance be all chained up even raise both hands above your head all chained up and worship the lord but the one thing you can never do in chains is claim freedom because you ain't got any you're a slave you're a captive to the enemy and second corinthians says we've been taken captive by the devil of his own will and we are not ignorant of his devices and yet there's a lot of people that come to a lot of churches just like this one still in chains still in bondage and jesus said let me tell you what i came to do ((music playing)) walk away from the chains you don't have to be in bondage to pornography you don't have to be in bondage to prescription pills you don't have to be in bondage to evil and to lust and to bitterness and to unforgiveness you don't have to be in bondage to your past and that spirit of abuse and that spirit of molestation and that spirit of rape you don't have to be in bondage to those things you don't have to be in bondage to toxic relationship you don't have to be in bondage to all of these things that come against you you choose to be in bondage because after a while chains get comfortable because you can do everything in them except claim freedom in christ because you don't have it did you know right now i'm slowing down right now under this tent whether you are planning to be here tonight or not but especially if you're not planning and you resonate with what's about to pop out of my lips listen to me under this tent right now there are people that love god that come to church that read a bible and that want to love god more but you are crippled by drug addiction i i'm talking about legal and illegal but i got it from the doctor most of them want to keep you sick because there's money in keeping you sick right you understand that you do understand that cancer could have been healed a long time ago but there's money in keeping people sick that's why churches don't preach deliverance because there's money in keeping people sick and there are some of you under this tent right now that need to be set free from the power and the bondage of addiction and you know it and you're like i'm just never going to get free you don't have to think that way you can be free in jesus or he was a liar he came to preach deliverance deliverance to the captives the other night we were in mississippi and we weren't even planning on having to deliverance invitation i don't do a lot of deliverance on the road because sometimes i'm in churches that don't believe in it and i don't want to mess the house up when i get there so i leave that to the pastor but he gave the invitation they kept on coming so i figure okay we might as well roll with it first one walked up this lady she must been 30 35 years old i said well you struggled with she said i'm struggling with her with an addiction i said what's your addiction she said i'm addicted to pills i said what kind of pills she told me the name of the peels and so we started coming against the spirit of addiction started coming against the spirit of pharmakia and i said what's the name of it she told me and i said right now in the name of jesus and i called out that spirit of this particular drug because they like to uh they like to identify themselves with what keeps you in bondage and here she was in a service whereby i suppose we're supposed to be dignified and i mean right there at the altar she cut loose like a wild woman she couldn't help it because the bible says when they come out they come out with a loud voice about four or five people later there was a whole bunch of people and other people was working with about four or five people later there was another gentleman and he came up and i said uh what are you struggling with he said man i'm telling you i got a meth addiction i said are you born again he said yeah i'm born again but i can't kick it i said you're gonna kick it tonight right now i said you looked me in my eyes he looked my eyes and i said i ain't talking to you sir and i called his name i said i'm talking to that meth addiction i said spirit of pharmakia i rebuke you in the mighty name of jesus the lord jesus christ rebukes you the god of israel rebukes you and i said right now you spirit of methamphetamines you can have this man right now anywhere ((applause)) and it wasn't just a noise and people like oh my goodness that's the silliest thing i've ever heard well that's cool i'm not worried about the carpet and people's dignity i'm worried about their character and people's deliverance in the name of the lord jesus christ so let me just say this i want to talk to everybody that's watching online and look some of you parents look at me some of you parents some of you parents have kids that are full-blown addicts and you're watching me right now some of your kids are watching me right now i'll tell you something they can be free 100 from every craving every single withdrawal they can be free by the way you can be free now we're not the only people that offer deliverance and i know a lot of these people that oh you know that's that's the most ridiculous thing in the world all you got to do is just speak deliverance of yourself and i'm thinking well why aren't you done in 40 years why are you still smoking dope to sleep at night and get mad at me when i tell you to get to the tent for a mass deliverance service i'm telling you on the authority of the word of god i spiritually double dog dare any of you to show up with a spirit of addiction and see if god won't set you free if you're desperate for it come on come on this house see if god won't set you free follow him lord tabs you ain't need to be taken i had a man in my office a few days ago he said man i've been trying to get all heroin for a long time i said let me guess the doctors told you to get on suboxone get off one drug by getting on another one that's equally as addictive but there's money in it money in it and so i said is it that he said yeah so we're praying and i felt like the holy ghost said i want you to call out the spirit of suboxone this is when i learned that they take on names that's why somebody need to call out a spirit of marlboro puff that crap out of your lungs nonetheless he's sitting there he's trimming a little bit he's in my office you know he's he's like man life why am i sweating so much because you in the hot seat that's why so i we'd gone through a list and he'd done done his renunciations i said i'm gonna try something he said all right i said spirit of suboxone i rebuke you in the name of jesus and get out right now and i'm telling you he went in a full-blown panic attack but he walked out free as a bird from a cage ((applause)) some of y'all need some freedom in jesus some of y'all need to get up here tonight at six o'clock and get some freedom from all that bondage that you carrying around you ain't got to be an addict look that's the one thing i can't stand about some of these self-help groups to get around and i thank god for people that they've reached but stop all this nonsense you've been free for 15 years and you say things like if my name's greg and i'm alcoholic ain't no such thing that's a word curse i've been set free by the power of god well i got my i got my 30-year coin my name's harold and i'm an addict and you gonna stay one until you call that curse off your life harold you ain't no attic you've been set free quit carrying around them chains that people have put on you you are free deliverance to the captives deliverance to the captive he came to set the captives free and i'm not going back i'm not keeping people in bondage the church you came from they may hate my guts don't let them know you're here but you can't really keep it a secret cameras pan the audience right now praise god some of you about to lose your job on monday morning look i'm not i'm not going to let people stay in bondage i don't want to pastor a bunch of captives i want to pastor a bunch of free people he said i came to preach deliverance to the captives and so you can call yourself anything you want to when you're wearing chains but the one thing you can never claim is real freedom in christ because you don't have it till the chains come off you say oh my goodness you just sound like you're perfect no i'm not perfect i'm just different because the gospel doesn't make you perfect it makes you different if any man be in christ he's a new creature she's a new creature they're new creatures old things are passed away behold all things become new stop coming to church pretending to be something that god knows you're not get some deliverance in the name of god and never touch it again i'm telling you it can happen today we either believe the bible or we don't you say well i've been doing this for 30 years well wouldn't it be nice for the next 30 to never touch it again it's like people that say well you know i just i want to come to the mass deliverance but there's that forgiveness part and you know when i was younger and i get it we all had some stuff when we were younger ain't no shame and guilt throwing a garbage can shame and guilt that's a spirit trying to keep you down that's a spirit of fear and you know i i just don't know if i can forgive that person because you know they've they've ruined the last 20 years of my life and you know what i get it but here's the problem you're going to let them ruin the next 20 years of your life too and they don't even care they don't even know they're not even in bondage because they won't even apologize and hope it never comes up at the family thanksgiving gathering you better learn to forgive people that'll never be sorry or you'll be sorry so i get they ruin 20 years your life you're gonna let them ruin the next 20. well i'm not going to forgive my ex because he took everything from me and he ruined my life for 12 years sounds like he's gonna ruin it for the next 12 too you better rock on you better offer some forgiveness you better get over that abandonment you better get over that resentment and you better watch what god can do when the chains come off in the name of jesus we'll tell you tonight if you're captive to a curse how to break it off some of you were born with a curse some of you have word curses spoken over your life some of you had parents that said things like this you'll never amount to anything you're just a loser you're just a failure and you've lived under that curse of witchcraft your whole life tonight we're breaking it off and you walk it out free in jesus name and then he says furthermore in the progression we preach the gospel we heal them inwardly and emotionally we preach deliverance and set them free and then the recovering of sight to the blind the healing comes after what just what happened what would happen in the text and so if we're not careful all we'll talk about is healing healing healing healing healing do you recognize the fact that acts 10 38 the bible says that jesus went about doing good filled with the anointing of the holy ghost laying his hands on everyone that was oppressed of the devil which would tell me that when he laid hands on people when they had a infirmity when they had a disease when they had an ailment when they had a sickness it was oppression from the devil that jesus cast out and then the healing came you will never get healing if you're dealing with a spirit you gotta first be delivered from the spirit so the healing can then come later and usually come right then but some of you have tried everything except deliverance there's a reason the bible calls it a spirit of infirmity he didn't make that up this woman had scoliosis curvature of the spine because there was a spirit that wound her and bound her all up by the way we know what the name of that spirit is and when he cast out the spirit of infirmity the bible says that she stood upright and everybody was amazed because the healing in many cases not all many cases comes after the captivity in your life is what you've been delivered from and some of you you need healing some of you you need bodily restoration some of you you're you're an insomniac you can't even sleep at night how many you've had trouble sleeping at night put your hand if you have trouble just be honest this ain't a loaded question look at the number of people in the tent that have trouble sleeping i can promise you one of three things is true don't don't shoot me i'm just the messenger if you can't sleep at night here's why number one you've got a curse you need to break off we're gonna do it for you tonight and you gonna help us number two you have a dream catcher in your house or some sort of a cult paraphernalia but that dream catcher keeps you wait well you know my grandma gave me that i'm sorry you better burn that sucker you got a ouija board in your house it better get out you got a cultic nonsense in your house it better get out some of you women you got some of them sexually steamy romance novels it better get out in the name of jesus no money you can't sleep at night you laying around thinking about everybody else's husband and making your sleep on the couch somebody help me holy ghost i'm about to preach up at his house or third reason you're dealing with unforgiveness did you know nine times out of ten i'm just talking when he got to deliverance service yet it might break out right here in a minute we'll go till six o'clock won't none of you be late now this is not every time so don't don't don't stone me over it but did you know what i'm finding nine times out of ten now you may have already been delivered from it and this is just the residual effects nine times out of ten if you have strict arthritis in your body if you have rheumatoid arthritis you have something in your past you've not made peace with because that bitterness got in your bones and your problem is not what you're eating it's what's eating you it's what's eating you and you saw all the people i can't sleep i can't sleep well wait a minute does not the bible say the lord gives his beloved sleep so if you can't sleep that ain't god keeping you up unless he just wants you to pray but you're going to get some rest if you're a child of god so why don't you have rest because you can do everything in chains except claim freedom and some of you after tonight you're going to sleep better than you have ever slept in years you ain't gonna need to you ain't gonna need smoke no weed to do it you ain't gonna have to sit indian style in some yoga position and do some kind of transcendental meditation because if you've done that you've got a demon anyhow it needs to come out all this yoga all this hypnosis all this bunch of eastern mysticism nonsense no wonder you can't sleep at night get that garbage out of your house and if that don't work get that one-eyed monster called the tv up out the house and quit watching some of that mess that you're watching and you'll sleep better now i've done quit preaching gone to midland but i gotta get back to preaching now recovering sight to the blind to set at liberty them that are bruised to set at liberty to set it freedom to set free to loose the captive to set at liberty them that are bruised and i think in the context there's a lot of ways that people can be bruised but you know the number one way that jesus dealt with people was the fact that they had been harmed religiously they'd been bruised by some church did you know there is no hurt like church hurt we've got some pastors evangelists and preachers in the house they'll tell you there is no hurt like church hurt there's a lot of hurt i mean there's some crazy fall down the steps hurt in this world but there is no hurt like church hurt when church people hurt you it's hard to get over it it's hard to trust people again it's hard to even believe and imagine that it could even happen but it happens and jesus said i came to set at liberty the people that have been bruised by religion those that have been bruised beat up pushed on bulleted around by the culture do you know why people today won't stand up and speak out they've been bruised into silence they're hurt they're mentally disconnected they're emotionally disconnected they're physically and they're certainly spiritually disconnected and they sit around confused as a termite in a yo-yo wondering what in the world's going on and they freak out when they watch the news which you should probably stop watching because it always lies and god's not giving you that spirit of fear but a demon used the news to give you that spirit of fear god gave you a spirit of power loving of a sound mind and yet there are people even under this tent watching right now and that will watch later you're just so bruised now look we either believe that god can heal the disconnected areas of our heart or he can't he can either feel all the empty voided spots that the enemy has left or he can't but i have to believe that he can that god can heal your brokenness that god can heal your hurt that whatever is upon you around you or even within you can be cast out in the mighty name of the lord jesus and you can walk out free as a bird thinking like you've never thought before we've had people simply walk out they didn't fly around the room they didn't have some great big huge manifestation they didn't scream they didn't talk in some guttural voice now we get that you'll hear it tonight but i've had many people just walk up to me and say i just feel like myself for the first time in 30 years that's because you finally got released from that bruising from that heaviness did you know what's interesting and we're going to have to just quit i'm never done i just quit he don't until we're done so we'll just have to quit in a minute but i never noticed in isaiah chapter 61 my life verse whereby jesus is quoting this and just quotes it a little bit differently in the narrative in the context the spirit of the lord god is upon me because the lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings of the meek sent me to bind up the brokenhearted proclaimed liberty to the captives in the opening of the prison to them that are bound to proclaim the acceptable year of the lord and then jesus of course sits down he's like and today this happened and dropped the mic and everybody's like wow that was crazy but you know i never noticed in isaiah chapter 61. one verse next i went through two years in the ministry of nothing but utter depression i mean when i pastor down in a little chapel utter depression i hear people say well you know depression if you're a believer you can't struggle with depression read your bible pray every day and you'll grow grow grow right so there was all this stigma in anathema thinking theologically you can't have anxiety you can't have stress and you you can't have depression if you really love god but there was such a depression that had fallen upon me and i couldn't explain it and you know what if you struggle with that we'll call it depression you know what i know about you same thing i know about me when somebody asks you what's wrong you can't explain it because it's unexplainable and unavoidable and you know what happens you get more angry because you can't explain it because you have no idea what's wrong with you and i wish i would have understood the ministry of deliverance a lot earlier i'd have saved myself and a lot of people in this room a lot of hurt and heartache i i i'd say to a lot of you man a lot of you could have been out of addiction years ago a lot of you could have slept better years ago but here i was oh mother i mean i'd walk in smile like jimmy carter preach the paint off the walls and be miserable there's a lot that constituted to it but i was miserable but you know what's interesting in the same passage of my life verse in the third verse it says that god offers the garment of praise for the get this spirit of heaviness what we've been medically calling depression god calls a spirit of heaviness and if you will believe the authority of the word of god and have the spirit of heaviness cast out depression will be nothing any longer in your life and it's just that simple and if you don't believe it that's on you not me don't blame me for your chains i didn't give them to you i'm telling you how to get out of them i'm telling you how to get out of them to preach the acceptable year of the lord that year of jubilee he said look this is me i'm it this is the year this is the time and you better know god always works in timing and while god's working in time you better get in i love how it says that zacchaeus climbed up in a tree because jesus was passing by on his way to the cross do you know that was not the first time that jesus went through jericho but it was the last time he was going through jericho and you better get up in a tree while jesus is coming through you better get in the water while the angels stir in the pool god works in time he said i'm gonna preach the acceptable you're the lord and i love this and we're gonna be done we're gonna have some baptisms and watch god cut loose in this place and he closed the book and he gave it to the minister and sat down i like that he's closed it up walked over and said he go pal and sat down and the eyes of all of them that were in the synagogue were fastened on the guy he handed the book to oh no we're fascinated on the person beside them because they were wearing their sunday best and they were intrigued by what they bought at ross no all of them in that synagogue had their eyes fastened on him now remind you he'd done walk through the crowd and set back down he didn't have the mic anymore didn't have the book in his hand he then sat down and they're all like mesmerized and from a seated position in a packed out religious auditorium with everybody looking at him jesus said this day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears he was like mike dropped and that priest was probably like fumbling around him hold that book in his head he probably like dropped it all over oh my goodness and they all got mad and they all got stirred up and they all tried to kill him but at the end of the day jesus was willing to preach the truth at the expense of everyone hating him for it and he sat there lifted up his voice and said hey today this scripture is fulfilled in your ears and might i just say without taking away any of the integrity of the text for some of you today freedom is coming to your house and all of god's people said ((applause)) i was not prepared today he finished a lot smoother you know not as amped up as normal i was waiting for it and then he was like okay amen listen this is a a beautiful truth for all of you before we pray because some of you just need to believe god today you really do you need to believe god that he can restore your home that your prodigal is going to come back right because you can stand on the promise that the lord said if you train up a child in the way that they will go they will not depart from it even if they go the really long way around the barn right they always find their way back home they may go play with the pigs for a little bit but they always come home amen and some of you have been so discouraged and and if we're not careful you know we'll speak death but the lord clearly told us that life and death are in the power of the tongue and some of you today just need to come in faith you need to praise before your breakthrough you need to come and you need to speak life where you thought that there was death you need to speak blessing where there was curse because we serve the same god he's the same god the constant one the same yesterday today and forever and he can still bring water from a rock he can still part the red sea he can still say lazarus come forth he can still bring your prodigal home he can still set you free he can still restore your marriage he can still do all the things that he's always done because he's always the same so today some of you just need to believe god for things that seem really hard for you because with him nothing is impossible we serve the god of the impossible father today we come to you lord in the name of jesus lord we enter into your gates with thanksgiving and into your courts with praise and lord we thank you that who the son sets free is free indeed where the spirit of the lord is there is liberty and lord there is liberty here for your people there is liberty to believe you for the impossible there's liberty to have faith as small as a mustard seed lord to watch you remove mountains from our lives lord there is praise where there was heaviness you said to think on these things whatever is lovely whatever is pure if there'll be any praise at all any praise to think on these things and lord there is always praise we can praise before our breakthrough because you are the faithful and true one you cannot lie and so even when we don't see the end we know that we are more than conquerors through christ that loved us we know that you are faithful that you are never failing lord we thank you we thank you for the truth of the authority of your word ((music playing)) father that we truly could be set free through the power of the name of jesus that lord we don't have to live in bondage we truly can hear chains fall we can sing praises unto our god until the prison walls fall down till the earth shakes beneath us till everything changes ((music playing)) lord we thank you for who you are in jesus name amen just for a moment i want to talk to you and i know we'll start having a bunch of people leave out but don't let's not have the mass exodus yet i know some people can't stay for baptisms and i get it for this important moment if you are here for our baptismal celebration i want you to go ahead and make your way over to this side to my right your left and miss billy and the crew will be there and we'll make sure that we get you everything that you need and we'll have some of our prayer warriors and counselors whatever you need and so just and it's still resonating in your spirit under holy ghost conviction because you've never trusted the gospel you've never been saved i didn't ask you are you a good person i don't care if you're religious my question is have you been born again have you been born again have you had an experience where you have turned from your way and said jesus forgive me of my sin and come into my life and change me be my lord and savior have you had that experience if you haven't you may be super religious but you're super lost and super on your way to hell and you don't have to be you know the best news about hell is you ain't got to go because hell wasn't made for you it was made for the devil and his angels and they're all going don't go with them you can be set free today so here's what i want to do while many people are starting to line up i want us to buy our heads just for a moment our heads are bad our eyes are closed i'm not going to put a microphone in your face i'm not going to drag you to the front it's between you and god not between you and greg but i wonder if there'd be anybody a visitor a member a regular attender first timer or a thousandth timer doesn't make any difference and you would say today on the authority of the word of god i heard what you said and i'm concerned about my condition before the lord i'm not sure that i'm really born again i don't know that i'm saved i don't know that heaven's my home but i know i don't want to dine my sin and go to hell without god and i believe jesus died for me and was resurrected and today the best i know how i want to trust jesus to be my lord and savior when i ask forgiveness of my sin i want to repent have my life changed have a new trajectory and today pastor lock i want you to pray for me because that's me i'm not sure i'm saved i'm not sure heaven's my home but i want to be sure of these things and right now would you just simply pray for me all i will say is thank you and god bless you that's it
