iron man men's meeting tomorrow night because it's fourth of july guys spend time with your family cook out if it's really good cook out you know my phone number right all right also as we grow we need desperately need some volunteer help in the parking ministry i think we only had two people out there today and that's like a six or seven person job so we really need some help on that please step up and serve we appreciate it also there's so many areas i've said this before but i'll say it again because it's in my announcements there are a lot of ways to stay connected with global vision for the offering i want to take a few minutes to reminisce everybody okay about that amen we're just gonna talk a little bit we need a chit chat from uh from pastor to people from pulpit to pew and chair if you will and just want to be able to talk to you for a little while just a couple of things are on my heart i want to get the the announcement parts out of the way our announcement crew did their business this morning but i told them there's a couple of things that i wanted to mention we purposely this year because i didn't want to wear out the band and because we've already added an extra service every single week with the deliverance service by the way if you come at the deliverance service say amen tonight yeah going to be good tonight going to be set free get some freedom in christ but because we've added so much lately and because the lord is just working in such voluminous ways here we purposely did not have a big meal or an extra service uh for the fourth of july a lot of times we'll fill up a team we'll have three or four five speakers coming in and a band and all that kind of stuff and special music and and our guys singing and so it was just a lot to try to pull off this year and we just didn't want to do it but we have decided that what we are going to do uh for everyone that is interested we're still at least going to have the big boom boom show all right we're still at least gonna have fireworks and so you can come as early as you want to for fellowship but right about eight o'clock when things start getting a little bit darker we'll be all set up and we'll be ready to go so tomorrow night at eight o'clock right here 2060 old lebanon dirt road everyone is welcome bring your own chair or you can just stand but we are going to have a firework extravaganza amen it's going to be beautiful and so don't miss out on that uh i don't want the uh the left to think we're getting soft and doing this fourth of july boycott like the rest of all these liberal nonsensical individuals we ain't boycotting freedom in america ladies and gentlemen we celebrating freedom in this nation we're celebrating what god's doing in this nation so that'll be tomorrow night again you can stick around long as you want to all day if you want to in the heat but about eight o'clock we'll get started we'll have them fireworks going off bring your kiddos and uh bring some cold drinks bring some watermelons we'll just make a big potluck out of it amen but be here tomorrow night it's going to be good for a time of fireworks also an announcement with an extra announcement uh men in the morning our uh our crew there with miss faith and the rest of them because it is a holiday obviously she needs to give her team time off and so we'll not be able to have our room or our breakfast in the morning but do not be dismayed because i prayed about something and i have something on my heart that i just want to do all right breakfast will be on you you'll have to figure that out when you leave here but instead of our men's prayer meeting at 6 00 a.m we're going to have a bible study meeting at 7 00 a.m everybody say seven get there at six it's on you right it's gonna start at seven o'clock but here's what we're gonna do because it's a special day and we have a lot of people that are here rather than just canceling straight out men's bible study in the morning at the hilton we are going to have seven o'clock bible study here in the morning and i'm going to do devotions and it's going to be open for everybody so we're going to have a 7 a.m service in the morning no singing just going to be a regular bible study i'm going to be right there on the floor i don't care if five people our normal great group of men show up anybody can show up in the morning so at seven o'clock i'm gonna do an impromptu service right here in the main floor of the tent amen so be here tomorrow morning if you'd like to many people are asking oh my goodness we came in all weekend and we're gonna be here for the fireworks and we can't believe we're gonna miss ben's bible study you're not we're just gonna get full blown bible study in the morning amen so seven o'clock an hour later than normal so you get to sleep a little bit and stay up a little later if need be but in the morning seven o'clock right here under the tent and uh we'll just turn on a couple of fans and we're just gonna go with it amen we're not gonna have to have all the bomb schniggety and all the lights i'll just get my big karaoke machine and we'll just preach a little bit for jesus amen so it's going to be good so in the morning at seven o'clock we're going to be here for a full-blown devotional time bible study that'll probably turn out into a little bit of preaching amen so seven o'clock in the morning and not just the men but again all are welcome for that and then eight o'clock tomorrow night we'll be having our time of fireworks well if you think it's hot say amen it's a little bit warm in here i get it it's a little bit stuffy super hot up here if i make it through this entire message in a little while with this whole coat on it'll be a miracle of god so i'm not gonna make no promises i'm probably gonna shuck it here in just a few minutes amen now all of that out of the way just just pretend like i just got up and none of that was even said because now is when i need your attention for the next few moments people are probably asking especially those online that saw the worship what in the world is that jacked up truck doing in the back end of the tent right trust me we tried to move everything we could i was gonna run through all the chairs and just get it right up here in the front amen i wanted to use it as an illustration because some of you don't know how when where why and the circumstances and the situations that surround what we have here today you know this is the lord's doing and it is marvelous in our eyes so i just want to i want to talk to you just for a couple of minutes uh about something that i think is important and yeah i'm going to come down and i'm going to head over to the colt seavers truck they told me my mic would work and we'll figure out the cameras if it don't then we'll we'll back up we didn't rehearse it but uh two and a half years ago that's a long time for a church a lot of churches don't even survive the first three to five years of a church plant here we are 16 years in two and a half years ago covet hit this nation and nobody could have had any idea the pandemic shall i use the phrase pandemic that it was going to become and how many churches were going to close up how many of you in this tent right now just by lifting up your hand you were disappointed how your church or how your pastor handled the kova debacle would you put your hand look at that that's why people are here today by the way mike's still working media crew is doing great now let me just talk to you for a minute it felt a little bit like compromise to my wife and i but we knew that we were going to have to move out of the parking lot or out into the parking lot for at least one service how many of you were around for the very first service when we were in the parking lot we had uh we had 350 people in those days and that was like an easter sized crowd i can see myself on the screen you know revival came to this church from the back of this bubba truck didn't have anything to do with the truck but the lord used the atmosphere of outdoor simplicity you don't have to turn me up too much guys i'm ringing they can hear me and where we are right now was a forest right down there was nothing but trees the bubba truck was parked on a hay wagon a hay trailer just just up a little bit and i stood in the back of this truck and i preached if my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then will i hear from heaven i will forgive their sin and i will heal their lamb and i had no idea what god was about to do in our church in the parking lot in the back of a bubba truck those are the days when pastor bill greene who is now in the glorious presence of the lord and we got the short end of that stick amen he's he's having a time pastor green was struggling in those days with his body and the cancer that had begun to riddle up in his bones and when we got to the end of the service many of you remember when we was in the little little building down there which blows my mind that the whole thing now is just kids the whole thing is packed with kids as packed as it used to be with adults and brother bill could not get up in the back of the truck not just because it's so tall which it is but it was on top of a hay wagon and so it made it even more tall so sight unseen the lord said ask your wife to pray she had never prayed in public up until that moment i don't know if she'd ever prayed in the mirror up until that point and she always had this thing where when we would pray i would always lead out meals time together whatever she just she never felt comfortable praying but i got through preaching on revival and there was about you know 350 400 people sitting out in the parking lot people on top of their cars it was a big tailgate party the news was there these coma deniers whatever drones flying around and i said baby come up here and she did with a little bit of fear trepidation and apprehension she came around and we opened up tailgate and got ty up in the back of the truck and she prayed little did i know that that was going to be the day that god was going to set our church on fire and set our church on a trajectory that brought us two and a half years from a parking lot with 300 people to a 3000 seat tent four thousand plus baptisms in a horse trough to god be the glory great things he had done the levels of generosity the churches that we've been able to start the buildings that we've been able to purchase where is pastor jason boggs and his crew i want you to stand right now right here they're the ones we bought the elementary school for in franklin west virginia right there they opened on easter hallelujah hallelujah that's them right there i love you brother jason love your family love your church but little did i know that god was going to open up the windows of heaven in such an extraordinary manner in those days that god was going to allow our church to have not just a national but literally a global vision size platform full-blown professional television studio best-selling books all the stuff you just never expect and people just keep coming deliverance ministry we never could have imagined matter of fact if i stood in the back of that truck two and a half years ago and it was today and you would have told me that we'd have been in full-blown deliverance ministry i'd have drove the truck to florida got a left i wasn't ready for it sometimes god will let you get prepared and let you get ready and then prepare the people around you for the explosion that he's about to do with him and so it's it's been a glorious journey and a glorious journey but i never could have imagined what would happen when i would get up on a sunday and at the end of a message just before my wife prays as she does every week and she'll do today say god told us to start an adoption foundation so that we can pay the expensive ridiculous rates and ((applause)) bills for men and women that won't adopt children i never could have imagined that people would step up to volunteer that money would begin to pour in and people would begin to call and things would begin to line up and things would begin to just roll into place in ways that i never imagined this not things you would have thought about two and a half years ago standing in the back of a bubba truck that god used as a platform to bring about revival and is now probably one of the most recognizable vehicles on social media which sometimes is not a good thing but you know it's interesting that everything started right here so yesterday i was out and i knew that today we were going to have our our regular tithes and offerings go because tomorrow the banks close but on tuesday we go and we we open the account in the church's name for the adoption foundation the global vision adoption we're going to open the account get everything started we've been working legally behind the scenes to make everything it's going to all run through the church just make it smooth and easy that way and so i i knew that right and so today here i am two and a half years later just thinking to myself wow look what god has done look at the people that he brought can you imagine if everybody that's ever been through this church or been baptized at this church or watches us online there is not a stadium on the planet that will hold the number of people that are watching us and that sit here and they come here on a regular basis truly unbelievable this is the lord's doing it is marvelous in our eyes it really is but today in a moment when we walk up and we pray over our offering and our men come through this is going to be the the infancy offering this is going to be the beginning and we've had several checks come in this week some of which i'll talk about here in a few minutes just specifically for the adoption foundation i told you on wednesday night we already have a family from kansas that is going to pay for the first adoption over and above whatever it is that we have or we'll raise amen so it's already coming in god's already working and there's a lot to it the legalities and the loopholes and just working through all of that but all of that to say this so today two and a half years later i just look and i see what god's done and the platform that he's given us and the global audience and i just can't help but just just worship him and just weep and just say god thank you for what you're doing you've given us such magnanimous miraculous influence with the nations with the nations so all of that being said tuesday we'll go in there we're going to open the account we're going to watch god do miracles we are not just going to fuss about life we are going to help a lot of people live we are going to rescue a lot of babies for the glory of god a lot a lot of babies will help a lot of marriages put a lot of homes together in a lot of ways so yesterday i'm out riding my bicycle on the greenway right i love to ride and everybody knows that about me and i was out for a couple hours and the whole two hours the whole two hours i'm riding my bicycle and the lord just kept telling me the same thing the same thing the same thing the same thing and the same thing is you know sometimes you you look at the lord you're like really you can't be serious right now the lord says oh i'm more than serious let's see how serious you are so let's get some skin in the game shall we two hours yesterday and god said when you take that offering for the adoption foundation i want you to tell whoever is in that house or whoever is online the decision of finality will be made tomorrow night before we shoot the fireworks but the most famous truck on social media that brought revival two and a half years ago is right now being relinquished into the hands of global vision and i'm auctioning this truck off to the person that will give the greatest amount to our adoption foundation this weekend i already know what this truck is worth people offer me money all the time for this truck when i'm at a gas station all right and i can get a lot of money for this truck but it's not about how much money i can get it's about how many babies we can rescue and just to let you know i i don't i don't have a lot of things that i got a truck and a bicycle that i like right now i'm not counting my wife and kids i love them but i got a truck and a bicycle that i like i'm not one of these high falutin rich fat cat preachers that run around google's lost their mind when they say we're worth 129 million dollars by the way we hired a pr firm to sue that company because you can't just say stupid things like that there's one thing i can't stand is when people think i'm one of those prosperity health and wealth nonsense preachers i'm a giving pastor i'm a giving preacher this is a given church right here ((music playing)) so i'm not an auctioneer and i'm not gonna do an auction right now you gonna have to call the office you're gonna have to see me in the meet and greet line you can jump up right now praise god i won't take a dime less than ten thousand because i got a guy right now that give me that at a gas station but every dime that i don't care what you can take the truck apart you can blow it up you can do it you can drive it but whoever gives this church the biggest check for this truck can have this truck and every single penny of that money is going to go right to open up the account of the global vision adoption foundation amen church every single penny of it ((applause)) i like my truck now i'm telling you that's that's the beast that's a bad daddy truck but somebody's gonna buy that truck someone gonna give up this church 20 000 probably for that truck i don't care how much you give but the person that gives the most money i told my wife last night i said i got an illustration to use my truck i didn't even tell my wife i was going to get my truck away huh didn't even tell my wife that i was going to get my truck away she knows i love that truck that's a cool truck so if you're online and you want that bubble truck then you better call the office but for the rest of us just make your checks out the global vision and we're gonna have the first offering now we got money that's come in that will go towards it but we're gonna have the first offering right now and i want a big one because we're gonna use it all to adopt babies and to help families and to bless people so it's one thing for me to say oh yeah i'm gonna write a check you know whatever yeah but that's probably the only thing i own that would bring any valuable amount of money nobody wants my bicycle and you can't have that know how so that's what the lord told me to do so there there goes there goes the truck and i'm not going to bemoan it not going rich about it for two hours the whole time i wrote god said you know what you gonna do that truck tomorrow don't you and i was like mm-hmm i'm auctioned off for little babies to be adopted he said yep you sure are so see us after the service or you can go over and put a big old check on the windshield right now got brand new interior in it and god's gonna use it in a glorious way for his glory amen so that's how i wanted to start the offering today got this in the mail yesterday with a number of things hello pastor locke i won't give a name they'll know who they are they're watching now my parents left me an inheritance and i have been praying for wisdom and how to pay my tithe and split it up between several ministries or just one lump sum we are faithful watchers of your church on youtube and after hearing your sermon last week 6 26 12. i knew the lord wanted me to send you the entire amount we have prayed over the check in tears because the anointing was so strong god bless you and keep shouting the truth and they put in a seed for 32 225 for our adoption fund just yesterday just yesterday ((music playing)) so god's just gonna keep doing it so we're gonna give and everything we give today is going right into that fund that we're gonna open up on tuesday and we're gonna watch the lord do some great and mighty things amen father in jesus mighty name we thank you for the privilege we have to give the privilege we have to give back the privilege we have to pay it forward whatever we want to call it it's biblical generosity and it's so book of acts it's so new testament it's ridiculous so father today released this in a spirit of generosity that person that was going to drop in five let them drop in ten dollars that person gonna drop in ten dollars or drop in twenty dollars well we got a lot of babies to reach we got some homes to help we got some mamas and daddies to create by the power of generosity and some babies to save we're not one of these churches just gonna stand on a soapbox and scream at people at an abortion clinic no we're going to offer assistance we're going to offer help we're going to write the check ((music playing)) so give us the resources to be able to do that give us the sacrificial obedience to be able to do that and thank you that after two and a half years we've come full circle and now lord i pray that you would use what we've talked about today for your glory speak to people's hearts in-house speak to people online and i pray would have some folks step up and hit a grand slam for the gospel and say you know what if he'll sacrifice that then i'll sacrifice enough to sow into this ministry so that we can reach many many children for the kingdom's sake so bless what we've heard but more importantly bless what we will hear bless our worship bless this offering release us in such an unbelievable amazing miraculous spirit of generosity that it will shock us to the core and put us on the floor when we say look what the lord has done bless we pray in jesus mighty name and all of god's people said god bless you as you give there is something to praise the lord about today when pastor was talking i heard a lord say if i can use a bubba truck to change the world what can i do with you and you may think that i can't change the world but you can change someone's world and that changes the world i'm singing up here with my sister our mother grew up in foster care an orphanage and because her mother chose to have her we have this family this legacy of blessing and what we're sowing in today is a legacy of blessing one child but that is all we say the legacy the family ((music playing)) we have an opportunity to change someone's world to sow seed into not only the father's house but into his kingdom ((music playing)) i feel the holy spirit so strong in this room let's stand to our feet because he is worthy to be praised and if he can use above a truck he can use you power to break addiction there is power to bring home your prodigal child there is power to restore your marriage because there is power power wonder in your name in your name today lord we say prodigals are coming home in the name of jesus lord in your name we say that bodies are being restored to health in the name of jesus lord in your name we say that marriages are coming back into unity in the name of jesus lord in the name of jesus we say that every good and perfect gift is from above so lord we speak the name of jesus over our finances lord we lift up the name of every name the name that demons still trimble demons still tremble at the name of the lord jesus all of creation obeys the name of jesus and lord right now in jesus name we that name breaks down every law it jesus if somebody gets accidentally saved everybody freaks out don't know what to do am i right pastor i'm telling you man i like it when god moves in the house and you know god's moving in the house because man y'all y'all man y'all's fitbit's going crazy this morning praise god you got that fitbit thinking you running you ain't doing nothing but fanning praise god so i'm i'm glad you're here cold hot doesn't make any difference god just keeps doing it he just keeps bringing people he just keeps moving you are not going to want to miss tonight our deliverance service door's open at 5 please be here by 6 o'clock as we get started it's going to be a beautiful time but we need to get right into the word because my heart is full of some things that the lord began to just download in my spirit the last couple of days first book of the bible genesis chapter 28 would you go there please genesis chapter 28 if you go anywhere other than the first book you're in the wrong book genesis i'll be easy to find back to the beginning the 28th chapter i just want to share some things out of the overflow of my heart and my study with you today of where we are in our church where i am personally in my walk and i trust that you really want the spirit of god to speak to you today and download some great truth into your heart both in this hot tent but also online where everybody is watching or we'll be watching later we want the lord to get glory you know it's interesting there's a great principle in the bible when we exalt jesus the power of the holy spirit is released in our presence when we start exalting someone or something other than jesus the holy spirit will patiently stop his work and wait until we put jesus back in his proper place and when we put jesus back in his proper place and we exalt him then the spigot's turned on we sit under the spout where the glory comes out and the spirit of god begins to work again because how many of you know when you read the bible jesus said when the spirit of truth has come he will speak of the things concerning me and when a church exalts jesus it is released into the power of the holy spirit that's a beautiful principle may we never forget that genesis chapter 28 is where we are we're actually going to read a text that is going to set the tone for the text that i'm going to preach on because wherever we stop in the reading of the text when we stand is where we're going to pick up after prayer and preach down through it but i've got to give you the historical framework of what's happening here all right stand with me please out of reverence for the reading of god's word genesis the 28th chapter i'll take my reading beginning in verse number 10. genesis 28 and verse 10. and jacob went out from beersheba and went toward heron and he lighted upon a certain place and tearing there all night because the sun was set and he took of the stones of that place and put them for his pillows and laid down in that place to sleep and he dreamed and behold a ladder set up on the earth and the top of it reached to heaven and behold the angels of god ascending and descending on it and behold the lord stood above it and said i am the lord god of abraham thy father and the god of isaac the land where on thou liest to thee will i give it and thy seed and thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth and thou shalt spread abroad to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south and in thee and in thy seed shall be all the families of the earth blessed behold i am with thee and i will keep thee in all places wither thou goest and will bring thee again into this land for i will not leave thee until i have done that which i have spoken to the of and jacob awake out of his sleep and he said surely the lord is in this place and i knew it not and using this context and a little bit more i want to preach this morning on the subject awakened by his presence you may be seated all over the house father in jesus name i come to you and i ask humbly that you would fill me to overflowing with your wisdom with your power with your discernment and your enablement father i confess to you and i confess to every person here and online that without you nothing is going to be accomplished of eternal value these are not the words of greg these are the words of god and so move greg off the platform and feel me so that people will see the lord jesus and hear the truth passionately from the bible lord remove distractions from our hearts we know the prince of the power of the air wants to move in and keep us from focusing upon the word because we know the word is truth and when there is truth the truth shall make us free and the devil wants us in bondage he doesn't care what we believe as long as it's not the truth but today we declare that the truth will be spoken the truth will be heralded the truth will be shouted and preached and i proclaim that lives will be set free because of the truth that we're going to develop today from this context so break down the resistance of our hearts the barriers of our will may we leave today in a state of confession humility and repentance as we get into the presence of god awaken us and show us what you want to do in our life and we're going to thank you for it in the mighty matchless name of jesus and all of god's people said in genesis chapter 28 you have a man by the name of jacob for time sake we cannot drill down and rewind into the entirety of his life but jacob was a supplanter that's what his name means it literally means a deceptive child or a deceitful one now for time's sake i'm not going to insult your intelligence because many of you know that jacob lived up to his name he stole his brother's birthright two chapters later he stole his brother's blessing he hooked he crooked he lied he was one of these guys that could go through school graduate with honors but he cheated his way through every class ever met somebody like that they can graduate magna laude they can graduate with honor some laude i don't know what that means i graduated thanking the lord but at the end of the day here's a guy that was a crook here's a guy that was lower down than a snake's navel in a wagon track crooked as a barrel of fish hooks and he's about to have an experience with god that's not just going to change him it's going to change everybody sitting in this room this morning because before his wrestling match with god in chapter 32 that we will not develop today that's another message before his wrestling match this is the first altercation that jacob ever had with the holy god of the universe he is going to meet the thrice holy god face to face god's going to give him a dream and it's not the dream that's important it's the interpretation of what happened when he woke up from that dream now think about something for a moment he had a mama by the name of rachel his brother twin brother esau could not stand him after he hooked and crooked him stole the blessing stole the birthright rachel said you've got to leave your brother is going to be a bloodthirsty lunatic of a madman who's not going to be happy until you're dead so pack your dirty duds get up and go to your uncle's house a man by the name of laban you know that eventually when he got to laban's house he worked a number of years and eventually got his wife but before you get to all of that here he is journeying by himself sojourning without anybody he's walking lonely running from his brother running from his own identity he's running from god because up until this chapter he always referred to god as the god of my fathers he was never personal to him and i want to just say as i peruse to get into the text by way of introduction it doesn't matter if he's everybody else's god it doesn't matter if he's everybody else's savior my bible says ye must be born again and it's not enough to have people around you that love god you're going to have to love god and you're not going to get account for me and i won't give an account for you you go give an account for yourself somebody say amen he better be yours not just everybody else's and so jacob is in a quandary jacob is in a fine pickle about right now he's running running running running he's going to uncle laban's and one night he lays down he gets a rock what a pillow which by the way that pillow is going to turn into an altar in just a few moments he takes a rock he makes a pillow out of it and the bible says that he goes to sleep and in the midst of his sleep he dreams a dream that we theologically and historically call jacob's ladder there was a ladder that came down from the throne of god the bible says that this latter was not nearly as important as what was happening upon the latter the angels of god were ascending and the angels of god were descending and might i just quickly say that my bible says whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and you better know that in this tent right now there are angels that are ascending and angels that are descending and angels that are protecting the people of god in this house right now if you believe in that would you shout amen god's people are protected until god is done with us greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world i will fear not the devil because my fear of god is far too great and so he watched these angels of god up and down up and down he saw all of this work and progression on the ladder but at the top of the ladder there was a god in heaven there was a god of the universe that began for the first time to reveal himself to a man that was crooked to a man that was perverted to a man that was pornographic to a man that was evil to a man that was crooked and you know what god said to that sinful man out of you not out of your brother like everybody would suppose because he was the eldest but out of you because god can use the wrath of man to praise himself i'm going to raise up a great nation from the east to the west to the north to the south so great in fact i'm gonna fulfill the abrahamic promise and covenant through you a man that's a crook a man that's lower down and wicked and vile a man that cheated his way through school a man who's a liar a man who could look you in the face stand flat-footed and be a hypocrite and god said sir i'm gonna clean you up and i'm gonna turn you around and i'm gonna change a whole nation out of you out of you so you better know something real quick you have no business discounting the people that god decided to use because it ain't none of your business who god uses and a lot of times the people that we count down god says they just getting started they may be knocked down but they're not knocked out and they gonna get up and keep on fighting and you better know that the gifts and calling of god are without repentance and god can use anybody he wants to and he don't need your stinking permission amen god can use anybody he wants to even a crook like jacob and some of you like whoa i'm glad god can use crazy people yes me too because we are a whole room full of craziest so he has this dream god tells him what he's going to do he's very plain about it but i want you to notice what happens when he wakes up in verse number 16. we'll just take this verse by verse and phrase by phrase till we get to the end and jacob awaked out of his sleep and he said please notice the next phrase surely that's affirmation that's without a doubt that's not happenstance think about it hope so maybe so deacon's going to vote so that is a no so from god shirt of the lord is in this place now watch please the next part and i knew it not he said surely god has been with me the whole time and i knew it not he awakes from a dream and says surely the presence of the god of the universe is with me in this moment and i knew it not now i don't have a lot of fancy dancy three points in a poem and a bunch of principles you can write down are going to pop up on the screen but i'm going to give you some principles as they flow into my mind and flow into my heart for the next few moments but here's something you need to understand when this guy was awakened by the presence of god he was so overcome with the fact that god was with him that in this context he says my my surely the lord god almighty is in this place and i knew it not but at this moment he knows it because i'm gonna tell you something when you really get woke up i ain't talking about woke because woke is a joke you go woke you go broke i'm sick of woke churches i won't awaken churches amen but i'm gonna tell you something when you really get awakened by the presence of the holy spirit you will begin to recognize his presence in every situation in which you find yourself and you will be sensitive to things that grieve god the bible says to quench not the spirit the bible says to extinguish not the spirit the bible says to grieve not the spirit you see god's holy spirit is not an it he is a person and he's grieved emotionally by the sins of god's people and i want you to know that when you finally get awakened you'll begin to sense god's presence in ways that you never have because you see we have this idea that god's presence is just under the tent all know god's presence is out in that parking lot too god's presence is on the inside of me and on the inside of you god's presence can be in your kitchen god's presence can be in your shower god's presence can be in your bedroom get over this idea that only pastors evangelists and missionaries and worship directors need the power of god no plumbers need the power of god too stay at home moms need the presence of power of god too sunday school teachers everybody you know electricians i don't care who you i don't care if you spray in the bugs you need the power of the presence of god in your life every single one of us need to be cognizant and conscious more of the presence of god and can i say this the more i seek god for what he's doing in our church the more i seek god for what he's doing in our deliverance services the more it enables me to sense things that grieve him and i'm starting to make decisions in my life now that i never thought i would have made not because i'm a legalist but because i believe in the presence of god so greatly i don't want to do things that grieve god and stop what god's doing in this house let me give you an illustration and i'm going to be very careful how i give this because i'm against no one in the context of what i'm about to say i preach a lot of places and most people are like who are these people you're preaching for i have no idea nine times out of ten it's sight unseen you know of course i preach for jason or somebody that i've already been with you know i know them and you know they're in the context of our ministry but nine times out of ten i have no idea i just show up blow and blow up and blow out right i have no idea who i'm preaching for i don't know they just called and the office booked it and they just say you know how much does he charge he doesn't charge anything what's his expenses he don't have any expenses you know why because i don't put a price on the gospel i preach for free and i would pay my own way and do just about every week to make sure the gospel is preached so make sure google picks that up but nonetheless and i really say this a lot for the online crowd that was expecting me to be there and encouraged by it but i just i just want to say this because it it fits the context of where we are this morning and again i'm not besmirching anybody's character because i love the people that are preaching and i love the person that actually put the meeting on but next week i'm supposed to be in illinois right on friday i'll be in virginia beach but on i think next saturday i was supposed to be in illinois now for all of you illinois people like whoa i'm not going to be there rarely do i cancel meetings quite often we get canceled and people don't like my stand on certain things but but let me just tell you something about about where i'm at in my life at 46 years old okay and that's not old by any stretch of the imagination but i am much more sensitive you know deliverance ministry has changed my life in a lot of ways it's made me sensitive to things that i never would have been sensitive to and again i'm not talking about rules regulations and stifling legalism i'm just talking about where i'm at where you're at is is on you right so i'm supposed to preach in indiana or indianapolis or what what do i say illinois next week one of them i states and uh i called one of our dear brothers that i love that goes to church i said i want you to go you you still preach we we have a different context we have a different platform we're in a different spot and i and i reached out to the people that that moderated the meeting and normally when somebody says something online i just don't even fool with it like if it's in the online community and somebody gets critical that's why we have content moderators you know everybody's always got something to say about greg locke or his family right i get it i live in that world could care less i signed up for it so it's cool but people began to say why are you preaching there and they were concerned about it so i began to do some investigation my picture's on the flyer right so i figure if my picture's on there i might as well dig a little bit long story short there probably would have been a time that i never would have even raised an eyebrow over it but the closer i get to the presence of god and the more i am immersed baptized into what god has for us here the more sensitive i am to some things and i felt like it would be a great conflict of interest for me to go and speak at a meeting where one of the speakers is a good guy with a seemingly upcoming prophetic voice but he's pretty adamant about his liquor business and i had to call the folks and i said you know what i love you guys i appreciate your a e show on moonshiners and all cool but i can't do it i i can't i can't show up and give my platform to somebody that believes something polar opposite of what i believe and i don't intend for him to have to believe what i believe but let me tell you why it's a conflict of interest because in deliverance service about halfway through every sunday night i say something like this spirit of alcohol come out in jesus name spirit of drunkenness come out in jesus name and then i say there's a reason they call it spirits because it's a demon so here's my question how can i believe that on sunday night and then go to illinois and preach to a big crowd i can't uh look i don't care if you clap or throw mater again i'm not throwing these people on the bus because i love the man that put the meeting together and i love the other two speakers and i encourage them hey i know you crowded me preach the gospel to him but as far as i'm concerned i can't be there it's a conflict of interest to me because my convictions aren't for sale no matter who you are ladies and gentlemen no matter who you are and so i'm just saying i'm at a place in my life where i'm like whoa sure the lord's in this place and i knew it not how did i not see this before and deliverance ministries changed everything about me i can't watch stuff on netflix that i used to watch and it was no big deal there's some music i just can't listen to anymore i can't fill my house with them spirits and then get up here and preach against them right am i helping somebody i'm helping me when you get awake and you'll understand the presence of god like never before it'll change the reality of who you are you can't get in god's presence and come out the same if you're the same man and the same woman when you came out of god's presence you didn't do you hear me you didn't but then notice it goes on he says in verse 17 and he was afraid and said how dreadful is this place this is none other but the house of god and this is the gate of heaven now i like that phrase don't get spooked by it he was afraid and said how dreadful is this place it's a it's a form of worship it was reverence it was fear of god but let me tell you why this verse is important why this phrase is important because do you know what happened at this very millisecond in the text his fear of god was elevated above his fear of everything else in his life did you hear me he had been fearing the revenge the retaliation of his brother he feared a lot of stuff anxiety depression anger temper bitterness man this guy was jacked up he was tore up from the floor but when he got a good healthy dose of the fear of god his fear of who god was was now greater than his fear of who anybody else was that's why the bible says the fear of man brings a snare because if you fear man you'll do what man says it'll keep you in bondage and keep you in fear but if you fear god you will do what god says and it won't keep you in bondage to what man says because at the end of the day i'm called to fear him not you and that's why the lord has not given us the spirit of fear but of love power and a sound mind and when this guy saw god's presence and came awake from that dream he said i'm afraid how dreadful is this place now i'm not one of these propagators as a preacher that says well you know if if you missed your bible reading one day for 15 minutes then you better be alert and put on some extra coffee because god's going to blow your brains out with a lightning bolt well god's going to judge you you're going to wreck your car into a tree no no i'm not talking about being scared of god i'm talking about reverencing god i'm talking about fearing god so much that you're scared of sin that you're scared of immorality and fornication that you're scared of idolatry that you're scared of the occult that you hate witchcraft in your hope you have such a fear of god that you don't want to get involved in worldly wicked carnal nonsense so rather than trying to justify what you want to do in life why don't you get in god's presence and you'll find out his presence will change what you want to do in your life it'll change the people you hang around it'll change the places you go it'll change the behind the scenes backstage off camera out of the tent conversations that you have about other people it'll change you he said how dreadful how unbelievably dreadful is this place and i'm telling you when your fear of god is elevated above your fear of anything or anyone else there is no stopping what god is going to be able to do in your life you know why god's doing what he's doing in this church because i'm going to tell you right now we're a fearless church that's why we don't fear what this town thinks about us we don't fear what social media thinks about us i sure don't fear what nancy pelosi and sleepy joe biden think about us i don't fear what the republicans think i don't fear what the democrats i don't fear what donald trump i don't fear what you think i don't fear what your mama thinks and i don't fear what i think when i look in the mirror and want to be fearful you see i care what god thinks about this church not what you think about this church i care what the holy ghost wants to do in this church not what people with bad ambition and false motivation want to do in this church let's do some preaching now praise god ((applause)) i love how god uses his power to expose demons in our church they don't stick around long they'll start manifesting they'll start shaking they'll start going crazy they've always got something they got to say well i love you preacher but be careful when people start using that butt well we love the lord but we love what god's doing in that tent but we love where that money's going but but but but but you know what sheep follow billy goats always butt stuff say amen right there goat i wasn't even going to get in on this but man i'm feeling pretty good about right now i'm here to tell you you listen to me and you listen to me well i care what god thinks i don't give two flips of a wooden nickel with anybody in this tent thanks except my wife and miss billy because i don't want to pray in the grave but nonetheless if miss billy came to me and said uh now pastor the holy spirit told me that this time next week you're going to be in heaven i would buy a casket that moment i'd have my suit all laid out all right so i don't fear anybody but miss billy's high on the list praise god i'm just saying when you get into the fear of god all of a sudden the fear of everybody else just kind of rolls right out doesn't it people ask me i'll talk man how are you able to just get up and preach like that i don't even think about it i'm not trying to run friends and influence people i don't need a bigger crowd don't need another book i was going to say don't need a brother above a truck but i guess i will need one of them but nonetheless by the way just before i jumped up here it's already over thirty thousand dollars just before i jumped up here on my text ain't no telling where it's at right now and then somebody came up to me and said god told me to give you the motorcycle god's gonna give me a motorcycle and we gonna auction the motorcycle off to praise god for them baby ((applause)) he said what the hell do with the message everything pay attention he said this is none other but the house of god that's interesting thing to call a rock we'll see why in just a moment but watch the end of verse number 17. and this is the gate say gate of heaven this is the gate of heaven he said this is the portal this is the doorway this is the opening that i've been waiting on the bible says if you just try the lord one good time see if we'd not open up the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that you cannot contain there's a lot in the bible about open windows about gateways we know that jesus is the gateway to glory is the doorway to the divine nature of god he's the way the truth the light no man comes to the father but by him john 14 6-7 we know that to be true it's a fact it's a theological certainty but i love this little phrase here it says that when he woke up he said this is the house of god and this is the gate of heaven now let me say something about that phrase gate he experienced so much of the overpowering overwhelming beautiful undeniable presence of god that he said this moment right here i'm in a i'm in a heavenly portal he's like he's the man i'm seeing the gate of god open up now let me say something you need to understand and i'm just learning this okay so i'm kind of talking and chit chatting as i'm learning is that okay being filled with the holy spirit matter of fact let me go one step further and just go ahead and delineate some of the people that don't need to listen being baptized in the holy spirit buddhist fix our terminology because that is biblical new testament king james terminology right there being filled and baptized with the holy ghost listen to me very closely if you don't get two words come out of my mouth get these it is not a goal to attain it is a gateway through which to operate did you hear me church we think that the power of the holy spirit is this goal that we eventually attain and we've arrived it's not a goal it's a gateway it's an opening it's a portal to the greater works that we can do than even jesus did it's a gateway it's not just something we attain it's a one and done and we're finished with no being filled with the power of the holy spirit is a gateway that opens up things in your life that you've never imagined it opens up things in your life that this church used to preach against that i used to preach against but i can't deny it anymore i can no longer look at the bible through a corrupted lens of denominational status and let me tell you something i don't mean to hurt your feelings but if i do again it's not going to bother me i'm sick of denominational tags i'm sick of them ain't no such monster in the whole bible none you know what denomination is called division it's called nothing but division it's built on man's personality at the end of the day you ain't going to heaven because you're a methodist you ain't going to heaven because you're a nazarene you ain't going to heaven because you're a baptist you ain't going to heaven because you church of christ church of god church of god in prophecy assembly of god you're not going to him because you independent baptist missionary baptist free will baptist southern baptist any other 36 denominations of baptist you're going to heaven because you're born again washed in the red royal crimson flow of calvary that's why you're going to heaven you're not going to heaven because granddaddy did you're not going to heaven because your spouse is you going to heaven because of jesus the death the burial and the resurrection denomination has done nothing but divide up the body of christ into classifications of these people thinking they're better than these people we a bible church so what does that mean means we read the bible we preach the bible we memorize the bible we talk about the bible we carry the bible we love the bible you say well you know i i appreciate all that but i'll just be i don't know no more butts i don't care how baptised you are i'm kind of pentecostal you are they both wrong you hear me i'm sick of churches being built on traditions of men can't even move the communion table without 15 deacons voting on it people are mad about stuff all the time people like well you know i'll be honest with you brother like we just don't understand how y'all's church gives that much money away who votes on that the holy ghost votes on it and if you vote against it you can go to a church down the road because we ain't putting up with stingy people up in this house praise god that's how we're able to give so much money away because we're asking god not you i don't care what your granddaddy pastor would have done with the money this ain't your granddaddy pastor's church this is god's church look far as i'm concerned every denominational tag in america could roll up into the ocean today and god would still be god everybody freaking out oh my goodness did you see what's going on with the southern baptist convention they've been rotten to the core for 50 years it's just now starting to come out ladies and gentlemen all these major denominations and networks they're all corrupt you know why they're built on man's personalities it's corrupt the conference of the methodist is corrupt the nazarene conference is corrupt the baptist conference is corrupt the charismatic conference is corrupt we got to get back to what the bible teaches anyhow i don't care if you affiliate with some of that stuff but you got to quit letting it be the sum total of what you believe because dr bottle stopper and sister wiggle y'all taught you that read a bible read a bible and if you read the bible here's what you're going to find that serving god is not some goal that you eventually reach it is a gateway through which you operate every single day through the gifts and the power of the holy spirit which the gifts are still available right this very second and right this very moment and if you don't operate in them you are in biblical disobedience biblical disobedience but then notice i know it's hot up in here verse 18 jacob rose up early in the morning took the stone that he had put for his pillows i love this and set it up for a pillar that's some southern slang right there one rock went from pillow to pillar some of y'all call you pillow you peel her i got me one of them my pillars now that would be my pillow a pillar is a pole but he took his pillow and made it a pillar and watched what he did he poured oil upon the top of it now you can read things like that in the bible and think well whoopee dee that's no big deal that may be the biggest deal in the whole text he took a rock that he had been sleeping on woke up was so overcome with emotion by the power the fear and the extravagance of god's character nature and presence that he took out some oil that apparently he had with him in his little knapsack he poured oil on the pillow made it a pillar and it became the anointed cornerstone to a whole new area for the first time that is named bethel in the bible because i will tell you something people that are awakened by his presence that are enraptured if you will by the reality of who god is and the bigness of all that god is and all the gigantic gargantuan things that he's able to do i'll tell you something it will always always always say the word always lead to worship when you get in god's presence that's why for the life of me i can't figure out why people come to church getting god's presence and stand around or sit around like a bump in a log right won't sing the songs won't clap won't dance won't raise your hands won't pray won't walk by that's just not the way i express myself you better come up with a better way of expressing yourself because you're going to worship god when you get in god's presence if nothing else just stand there wave one of them fans we'll think you won't even flag people praise god just waving fans waving fans waving fans right it's time the church learns how to worship you better worship your way out of these battles worship your way out of these problems you can worship your way out of divorce court you can worship your way ladies and gentlemen out of problems out of bankruptcy out of instability this is how i fight my battles ((applause)) he got in god's presence he started worshiping he started worshiping and here's a man that was a crook he was wicked he was slow down he was a compromiser and when he got in god's presence he poured out some oil he said i ain't gonna use this for cooking i'm gonna use this for cleaning up my body cleaning up my house cleaning up my life cleaning up my mind and he poured that oil on a rock and the pillow became a pillar which then became the foundational cornerstone of a brand new town named bethel the house of god it's amazing what happens when you worship and let me tell you something before we close and i got a few more verses so that doesn't mean i'm closing now you need to learn that when you leave this tent worship should not leave your lips you better worship god in that car you better worship god in the shower you better worship god riding a bicycle or a motorcycle you can worship god on an airplane you don't believe me let that turbulence hit whoa praise god you cut a rug then you ought to worship god in a restaurant worship god everywhere you go ladies and gentlemen and the bible says that here this moment he was so consumed with the presence of god that it automatically led to worship nobody had to drag it out of him you've been one of them services where the preacher's like well i just feel like i know we've sung 78 stances of just as i am but we're going to sing one more one more one more listen when god's in the house and people are worshiping you ain't got to sing one more one more you ain't got to drag people down front they'll get right with god on accident when real revival happens you ain't got to beg people to stand in line and follow the lord in believers baptism they just stand in line and follow the lord and believers baptism deliverance just starts breaking out homes just start getting put back together when worship's in the atmosphere it changes stuff it'll shift the negative problems that you have and his whole life was changed in a moment of worship but then notice he called the name of that place bethel but the name of the city watch this was called luz at the first he used a rock with oil as a form a symbolization an illustration of worship and turned a whole city called luz which by the way was built on unbelievable incredible immorality it's a city of wickedness it was a city of demonstrative fleshly carnal wickedness and in one failed swoop of worship of god he changed the name from that moment historically all the way to this there is no luz but there's a bethel and he called the name of that place bethel but at the first it was called luz verse 20 and jacob vowed a vow he made a promise to god and by the way you would do better not to make one than to make one and not keep it far too many people think that some little haphazard hypocritical schizophrenic thing to do walk forward and say well god i'm gonna give this up god i'm gonna give this up god i'm gonna start this and you make this promise to god and then you wonder why your life's a crapfest because you went back on the promise but god never went back on his because god don't change his mind even though you do so some of you wonder why your life's under a curse it's because you made god a promise that you did not keep and no wonder you're emotionally disconnected from god's presence he vowed to thou saying if god will be with me and will keep me in this way that i go that i will give me bread to eat and raiment to put on so that i come again to my father's house in peace then shall the lord be my god by the way in three chapters he goes back to this place and has a remembrance moment of what happened at bethel verse 22 and this stone which i have set for a pillar shall be god's house you know why we can say this is god's house he called a rock god's house he said this rock this god's house that's where a tent can be god's house huh god's house can be anywhere because the kingdom of god is within us he said this stone which i set for a pillar shall be god's house but notice and we close and of all if i say all not of some most or much but of all that thou shalt give me i will surely give the tenth unto thee now let me tell you why that's uh encouragingly interesting and i'm not preaching on tithe and it just so happens to be in the context all these people say things like this well you know tithing that's just a get rich quick scheme for the church let me tell you something these pharisees that say well you know tithing is all old testament law no no tithing is an old and new testament principle whether it was ever instated as a law or not you know how i know that you know what genesis comes before it comes before the law there was no law that had been instituted at this point on tithing tithing was a principle of the overflow of the heart that because of god's gift and because of god's presence and because of god's goodness jacob said i'm going to give a tenth unto you now let me ask you a question why is it that people want to fuss over this here's my grand glorious gospel gripe if we are commanded because it eventually does become a law which we are not under right now if we are commanded to give 10 of all that we have under law wouldn't we be compelled first corinthians 8 and 9 would teach us to give more under grace than we do under the law so who cares what people say about we have 10th 10th oh it's just got to be you got to give this this many this and this many that a dollar on 10 and 10 on 100 and 100 and a thousand it's got to be just so it's got to be just precise no let me tell you something it's got to be from your heart i don't give under the compulsion of the law and i am not obligated to give 10 because the law says i'm obligated by the grace of god to give more because god's grace has been lavishly abundantly shed abroad in my heart why wouldn't i want to give more than a measly ten percent did you know studies have been done very recent studies have been done now this will shock you maybe not our crowd because we're so benevolent but it'll still shock some in-house and some online people for sure did you know in the american church i'm just talking we about to pray in the american church you take every one of them and there's hundreds of thousands of them okay there's a lot of churches in america you pop up an umbrella you hit 15 most of them split off a split off a splinter nobody get along did you know across the board statistically barnard research other denominational research a lot of research has gone into this study for obvious reasons do you know what the percentage is in the american church of people that actually give just a 10 i mean just just using that as the training wheels because by the way tithing is not giving tithing is just a tricycle that teaches you how to learn the bike because don't tell me you're a giver if you're not a tither because you can't even learn to give until you learn to obey ((music playing)) but i will say this here's the percentage across the board i don't know what the world's like but if it's as much as what america's like no wonder we're in a poverty-stricken mess did you know in america two percent of people that call themselves evangelical christians give up to 10 in america's churches two percent of the people in this room right now two percent of the people watching online you just take it per capita for what you want to two percent give up to and upwards of ten percent of their income to god two percent and we walk around saying things like this lord would you bless us and he says no i won't because i can't even trust you with what i gave you i can't even trust you for a measly tip you give your waitress more than that i i can't even entrust you for 10 of what you got now by the way here's what i know about life you could give god 90 and live on 10 and you would do better living on 10 than you do trying to live on 100 robbing god from what belongs to him somebody shout him into this place i'm telling you you just can't out give the lord luke 6 38 giving it shall be given good measure press down shaking together and running over shall men give into your bosom for with the same measure that you meet with all it shall be measured to you again if you sow sparingly you reap sparingly you sow bountifully you reap bountifully you always reap what you sow you always reap more than you sow but you don't reap a thing until you sow and i find it interesting that on such a day for such an offering for such a time as this that we in the context with when you worship and when you get in god's presence you cannot help but be generous with god and his resources you just can't help it it just flows out of you and you know what he did from that day forward he kept that vow to god he kept that promise to the lord did you know and you go ahead and start making your way up baby i'm just gonna quit did you know that think about this if everybody now we're talking about post covid days so numbers all over the world are skewed right now except in churches that are really doing something praise god and standing thank god for churches that stayed open amen but don't say this did you know to let's just take today for example if every church in the united states today had a hundred percent faithful we're talking about small meager percentage had a hundred percent faithful givers out of everybody in church right now or will be later or has been at early service just today in america just in this service can you imagine the unbelievable kingdom-minded impact we would have financially if just in today's service around america everybody present would just do a small part just think about that because here's what's proven statistically in three months time three months we would abolish homelessness in the united states the church would abolish it we would pay for every adoption and then some just alone by the churches that give in the united states we would shut down every rescue mission every widow would be blessed every orphan would be taken care of every building would be paid off every new church would have money in the bank when they got started every missionary would be 1 000 supported right off the rib if just the people that go to church and talk about loving jesus would just give a small percentage back to the lord that he's already asked it to we would eliminate every impoverished problem that we have in the church all over america we would eliminate eliminate so many problems in our society but if i might be so raw and real and righteous as to say most churches today in america are sitting on such piles of money building multi-million dollar facilities that they don't even need because when they open them and cut the ribbon they bounce around like bb's in a box car but it's a contest for the people down the road to make sure that we got bigger and better and brighter and bolder it's got to look better we're going to stay in a tent until jesus tells us to move out of this tent because we ain't going in debt to the bank because the borrower is serving to the lender we ain't sitting around on our hands we ain't sitting around on god's money we ain't sitting around and allowing america to go to hell and fiddling while rome is burdened we are going to invest in the kingdom because when you're awakened by the presence of god your worship will increase so much you can't help but just spill out and bless everybody around you if you believe that get on your feet this morning shout amen give the lord some praise in his house give the lord some praise ((applause)) amen ((applause)) well i feel a little sad in my spirit and i'm gonna tell you why which probably has absolutely nothing to do with his message so just hang with me for a minute you know i look over at that bubba truck back there and how beautiful i was sitting there like i he was going and i looked at the kids i was like he's about to auction his bubba truck and i had no idea and it's beautiful and sad to me at the same time and i'm going to tell you why because the first time i ever got up in that bubba truck i can honestly stand here today and tell you that i didn't understand the love of god and i didn't understand the presence of god and the power in his presence and the way that it changes you and changes everything about you and sometimes you know i see things in the bible like today surely the lord is in this place and at the same time i can't help but be grieved in my spirit because you know who else is in this place people that came here searching for something that they didn't even know that they were searching for they've been lost and doing all the things for a very long time and thinking that we christians are just hypocrites and crazy and we believe something that we don't even live because we've never had the back of a bubba truck experience that changed everything about us and it hurts my heart because i think to myself and i was thinking this all throughout service that you know he's right we come to church and we're like man surely the lord is in this place surely the lord is in this place but then we go to work and we live like the lord's not with us at all and our witness to a lost and dying world is the fact that we talk about people or that we're always angry or that we're always upset or that our kids just have all these ridiculous struggles that we don't even believe god for that he could change ((music playing)) and it really hurts my spirit because he's right everything about deliverance ministry has changed us everything i'm more grieved in my spirit now than i've ever been in good and bad ways in ways that the lord really had to change me you know such as i was always under the opinion that i was the pastor's wife so i just had to listen to everybody complain about everybody all the time because that was my you know due diligence to the church until i realized that those same people that smiled in my face and talked about other people were talking about me to other people and then i realized like wow that really grieves my spirit that this is the state that the church is in that we come here and we say surely the lord is in this place but we don't live as if the lord is in this place we don't live as if the lord is in us that the power of the resurrected king lives within us and today i look back at that bubba truck and i thank god that surely god is in this place because it changed everything about me and not under this tent see what you see of me is the overflow of my relationship with the lord it's just the overflow of who i am ((music playing)) i have this little prayer journal down there and if you could see the tears that have stained prayer journal after prayer journal after prayer journal and the things that god convicted me of the things that god has changed within me in the last two and a half years you would understand how beautiful of a principle it is to realize that surely the lord is in this place inside of me everywhere that i go that surely the lord is with my wayward child who is here searching right like they just show up to church with you to make you be quiet after a while so you know you'll leave them alone for like six months or something and they think to themselves man surely god is in this place but is this the only place that god is and i feel compelled to tell you today whoever you are because you're like man she was talking about me i'm really only here to make my mom leave me alone for the next six months hallelujah the lord is in this place but the lord is everywhere that you go you know i think about paul in the book of ephesians he said that we may know the height and the depth and the length of god's love that we would know the fullness of who christ is the book of psalms says that his feathers cover us his wings shelter us that his faithful promises they are our armor and protection that his faithful love endures forever and i don't know who you are but i just felt compelled to tell you about the love of god for a minute and i don't know what a bubba truck or any of those things has anything to do with the message other than surely the lord is in this place and he came seeking you today in all of your mess and all of your rebellion and all of the things that you think that we're crazy for because half of us don't even live what we say we believe but man the love of god it's the love of god that changes everything it's love that covers a multitude of sins and i don't really mind the witness that you've had from other people because i just want to witness to you real quick the love of god the love of god that sent his only son to die for you that we may be made the righteousness of god in him because he that knew no sin became sin for us and that even means the sins of his people that don't truly live for him every day and all the bad testimonies that you've been shown over and over and over again you see god's love covers that because it covers a multitude of sins for you and for me and for everyone under this tent and i say with paul today that you may know the fullness of who god is the love that passes knowledge it passes understanding it brings peace that passes understanding it brings life where there was death it brings hope where there was none it brings a foundation for you to stand on that you don't have to go out into the world and be tossed to and fro all over the place just searching searching searching searching do you know that the bible says that man does not seek him that god seeks you and when god seeks you and he finds you the bible says that he is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him because you know what happens when we find him we just want more of him we want more of who he is we want more of the love of god so we seek him diligently and he rewards that he says that he finds those those that seek him wholeheartedly will find him but can i tell you today that your search is over that you don't have to seek what you need you don't have to seek where you go because surely the lord is in this place right now for you exactly where you are in this place in this moment he said search no more because i am here and my love has covered a multitude of sins in your life and it does not matter where you've been and it does not matter if the world has told you that you will never amount to anything because today i'm going to reach out and my hand will touch your mouth and i will anoint you and i will send you forth because my love the depth of my love it passes all knowledge it passes everything that your mind can comprehend so today in this place i speak the love of god over you i speak the name of jesus over you exactly where you are because his grace is sufficient for you right now in this place right now in this place the father is calling your name he said i desire that your name would be written in the lamb's book of life that you would enter into the palm of my hand and that no man will ever pluck you from my hand because my promises are yes and amen his promises for you are yes and amen and they are faithful and they are true because he is the faithful and true witness he is the faithful and true witness everything that you've ever needed the lord wants you today today right now father we come to you in the name that is above every name and lord we say with paul now unto him who was able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ever ask or think and lord right now in this place above all that i could ever ask and all that i could ever think lord would you pour out your love among them today father that they would know you that they would know the fullness of who you are that lord they would walk out of this tent today and they would say surely the lord is in that place because surely now the power of the resurrected king lives within me because lord i surrender to you today with all of my mistakes lord with all of my rebellion lord would you seek their heart right now god capture their heart right now lord that they would know you father and i mean really really know you jesus that they would know that you are the one that conquers graves god that you were the lamb slain before the foundations of the world that you took the keys of death in hell father would they know you right now in this moment would they know the never-ending love of the father god would they call unto you in this moment father because lord i just desire for them to know you father to know the love of god in the father lord would you show it to them today god lord that even though they may have had a bad testimony that there is nothing bad about you you are the good shepherd lord you are the good good father lord lord you're seeking them right now god would they answer the call that you have on their life lord lord what they say in this moment i surrender all to jesus i surrender all to jesus because surely surely mercy and goodness will follow me all the days of my life and so lord i surrender to you now i surrender to the love of god said i would know the fullness of christ may the fullness of christ dwell within them lord lord that right now you are showing up to every two and you are saying come alive in the name of jesus come alive right now in the name of jesus dry bones come to life lord lord i prophesy to the wind send the wind lord send the fresh fire of your wind lord and may we say we hear the sound of
