Hey. >> ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> Hey, hey, hey. >> ((music playing)) >> atmosphere and we're going to do it together and we're going to open up with gratitude because that's how you go into the presence of God. We don't go into his presence with our need.

We don't go into his presence with our handout, but we go into his presence with gratitude. The Bible tells us that even when we were enemies of heaven, that he died for us. He sent Jesus to die for us when we were his enemy. Not when we didn't know him, not right before we got saved, but we were enemies of heaven and he sent his son, ((music playing)) his only begotten son for us anyway.

And so before he meets your need, before you receive a miracle, you have already received the miracle of life. Jesus didn't come to make bad people good. He made He came so that dead people can live again. So, if you're breathing, if you're grateful for this life that we have, if you're grateful that he sent his son, why don't you raise up a thank you?

Come on, let's raise up a thank you together. God, we thank you. God, we thank you. Our hearts are full of gratitude. When we reflect on all you've done for us, the only response that makes sense is thank you. Thank you for your love. Thank you for your love.

Your love that found us. Your love that keeps us. Your love that saved us. God, we thank you that there is no end to your love. There's nowhere we can go. That your love won't find us. There's nowhere that we can go. That your love won't chase us down.

God, we thank you for the miracles that we look past every day. Father, we're grateful. >> See, if you look in Exodus, if you look at the children of Israel, there are what I call logistical miracles that happened all along the journey.

And often times when we read the scriptures and we talk about them, you you read it and see that, you know, the Lord delivered them. They saw the plagues, they saw all that the Lord did on their behalf, and they still complained. They still bickered in the wilderness.

Some never saw the promised land because they complained so much. And a journey that should have taken 40 days took 40 years because of that complaint. But when I think about it, one of the logistical miracles that they looked past was I thought about it there. The Bible tells us that there was almost a million people in the wilderness.

How did they get clean water for a million people daily in the wilderness? And the scriptures tells us that the Lord provided it. How when we when we think about mana from heaven, we might think about our own family receiving mana. A million people received bread from heaven.

Here's the part where you shout about it. That God is your God, too. And every need that you could have, he has supplied for you. If you're breathing, if you're in this room, there's never been a need that you've had that he has not supplied. So, Father, we thank you for the thing that we can't see.

God, we thank you for the accident that did not happen. God, we thank you for the tragedy that did not take our lives away. God, we thank you for the breath that we have. And Father, today with open hands, we pour out our praise on you. Can you say something good about him in the room?

We believe that you are the God that will see everything that we need through. So in this moment, God, we declare that you can have your way with us, that you can move the way that you intend to.

We declare that we are free in you. And we declare that we will hear your voice and whatever you say, we will do. And we will obey quickly. We will not delay to your word. We will not delay to your will. And our desire tonight ((music playing)) is that you would have your way.

That you would fill this atmosphere with your glory. That you would fill this atmosphere with your peace. That you would fill this atmosphere with signs and wonders. That you would fill this atmosphere with miracles. Let us not leave here the same. Change the trajectory of our lives. Shift the atmosphere in this place.

And God, in this revival night, it's not a worship night with a marketing package. This is a night of repentance >> where we turn our hearts away from ourselves, where we dethrone ourselves.

We dethrone our desire, and we make you the center of it all, the point of it all. >> And so, Father, with hands open, we say, "Do what you want to." Our heart is expected of miracles because we know you can. That's us saying we trust you. But whatever you want to do is what we want.

However you want to heal is what we want. ((music playing)) However you want to expand our idea of you, we're ready for the Lord told me um the Lord said something to me very interesting and I'm going to um read Exodus. Exodus chapter 10 verse 19. ((music playing)) And I'm probably gonna do the first backwards scriptured reading you've ever heard because I want to read verse 20 just because I want to. >> And it's Friday and I like Fridays. >> Verse 20.

It says, "But the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart >> and he did not let the people of Israel go." >> Now you guys know the story. God still delivered. Amen. That's not a mystery to us. And so, as I was reading that scripture, the Lord kind of whispered something to me today that I haven't heard him say.

He said, "Titus, my name is on the line." >> Now, you know, your God delivers, right? ((music playing)) And here, I want to level with you. My family is is in need of a miracle right now. We're believing for God to do something that the doctors say is impossible, right? >> For one of our family members.

And here's the thing. While we're waiting on that miracle to happen, if it doesn't go the way that we desire for it to go, I believe in his character so much to know that what's on the other side must be I'm not I'm not giving you hype. I'm just giving reality.

It must be a reality that will shake me forever. It must be a revelation of who he is and his goodness and his kindness that will impact us forever to run on. And so here's what I want to say. Greater than giving you what you want, what if your faith is on the line?

What if the way what if the next version of you, what if heaven's version of you requires you to take a loss that you don't expect and still call him good and still call him faithful and see him as good beyond what he can do for you? What if that's what he's asking for? >> And so here's the promise that I want to read in verse 19.

It says this, "And the Lord, he turned the wind into a very strong west wind, which lifted the locust, which lifted the the thing that's devouring the bread, which the locust, the thing that's devouring your peace, the thing that's devouring your hope, the thing that you think is devouring your future."

The Lord sent a very strong west wind. Oh, we got it on the screen. which caught up the locust and carried them into the Red Sea. Not a locust was left anywhere in Egypt. I want to tell you this. Here's what we believe. That the things that are devouring you, the Lord is going to devour it in the name of Jesus.

Come on. If you believe that, why don't you raise a shout in the room? So, we're not just lifting up these songs as as a as a marketing thing. ((music playing)) This isn't a scheme. It's not just a theme song. No, this is a declaration that we're prophesying. We serve a God who's not scared of the dead places in our life.

He's not scared of the places that look like bones because he's turned bones into the armies before. And if he's done it before, he can do it again. So, Father, send your win. Send your wind. Send your wind. Send your wind. Send it from the north. ((music playing)) You can send it from the south.

You can send it from the east. God, my hands are open. You can change me if you want to. You can take what you want to. ((music playing)) You're the one who gives. You're the one who takes away. Blessed be the name. Blessed be the name of the Lord. ((music playing)) Blowing blow.

((music playing)) >> Send your spirit. prophesy. ((music playing)) >> I just I just cannot get enough of Ezekiel 37.

And as y'all were singing this, bring it down a little bit for me. As as y'all were singing this, I thought about the fact that this guy Ezekiel is standing in the middle of a valley prophesying to bones. Before he spoke to the wind, he spoke to the bones.

Now that sound like it's not a big deal to you because you forgot the skeletal system. You forgot that ears come after the rest of your body can contain them. So, how is it he's prophesying to bones >> when they ain't even make a body yet? >> And it's not just Titus that he spoke to the bones.

It's what he said to the bones. He said, this is the Bible. Ezekiel 37 verse4. He said to me, "Prophesy to these bones and say to them, draw bones, hear the word of the Lord." Verse five, this is what the sovereign Lord says to these bones. I will make breath into you.

Now, wait a minute. It would make sense to talk about breath >> after the bones came together >> and have flesh on them >> that could contain the breath. >> He's speaking all in the future as if what he's talking to does not have a choice but to come in alignment with the word of God.

Then as far as Gump said, "I'm not a smart man. But if your body only has two ears and if it is dismembered, how did the bones hear him?" >> You want to know how? Say, "How?" Because bones have ears. >> Mountains have ears. >> Red seas have ears.

A stone block in a tomb has ears. Because the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, then everything recognizes the voice of God. This means if bones can hear, then money can hear. Y'all ain't saying ((music playing)) nothing. If bones can hear, a relationship can hear. If if bones can hear, I need you I need everybody on the sound of my breath to find one dead thing in your life or one dying thing in your life.

You got it on your mind yet? Maybe it's a child you believe in get saved. Maybe it's somebody you're believing get healed. Maybe it's a financial miracle you need. Maybe it's breakthrough in the life of a loved one. Find one thing that looks dead in your life. Now, when we sing this again, I want you to recognize that you're not singing karaoke.

((music playing)) You're prophesying. And if bones have ears and anything that's coming against you, they're going to hear your voice. But you got to say something. Do me a favor. ((music playing)) Put your neighbor like you in the club in the '90s. Tell them you got to say something. That's the wrong neighbor.

Find you somebody that's going to help you prophesy. ((music playing)) Tell them you got to say something. I want you to look that dead thing right in the eyes and tell them dead things coming. You said dead things coming back to life. Tell it. Tell it. >> Dead things [music and singing] coming back to life. >> Oh, he got ears.

They can hear you. >> Dead things coming back to life. >> You got to prophesy to it. Tell it. >> Dead ((music playing)) things coming back to us. >> I'm not begging. When my mom turned 60, we threw her a surprise party.

She was so happy. She was so surprised. You can't throw God a surprise party. He anticipates everything because he's already at the end. This is good news. If you found yourself in a storm, God is not surprised by your circumstance. Talk about Exodus. I was just reading it yesterday, a part where Moses tells the people, "Be still.

The Lord will fight for you. The Lord's going to do this. Just be still." And the very next verse, God says to Moses, "Why are you crying? Tell the people to move forward." ((cheering)) Now, either Moses bipolar. How in one verse he's saying, "Be still." In the next verse, God said, "Move forward."

I asked the book questions cuz you can't just read the Bible. >> I said, "Which one is it, Lord?" You want to know what God told me? >> Both. >> ((cheering)) >> He says, "Moses was speaking to their peace. I was speaking to their feet. ((cheering)) You got to be still enough to move."

Y'all ain't come to have church today. God says, "I'm trying to settle some things in here and let you know that I'm not a reactive God. You got to be still enough to move. You got to understand that everything I started, I already finished it. And when you have a revelation that you serve a finishing God, you can move forward in the things of God.

So if you see me a little stiff on tonight, that's why. Um but God said something in that. I I literally was like, well, I'm not going to really pray about that because it's it's an accident and I kind of did it to myself. There's somebody in this room that you actually don't believe God to do it because it's something that you did to yourself.

You hurt yourself. One of my favorite parts of our whole declaration says, "I will not fight the wind." And so the Lord says, "You can have the win anywhere. Even if you did it to yourself, you can have the healing anywhere. Even if you did it yourself, even if you were the one who made that decision and hurt yourself.

Even if you're the one who caused the heartbreak, even after he told you that wasn't the way to go, that wasn't the person." And I believe there's some people in here tonight that you actually haven't asked him to heal you. You actually haven't asked for that win because you made the mistake.

You made the decision. You fought the win. I've been getting calls ((music playing)) and like God's been doing like miraculous things in my life and it's weird for me to receive because I usually fight >> like please God don't do that because I'm not ready. The truth is he could have been healed that but I didn't want him to cuz I didn't I wasn't I felt like I wasn't ready.

But I believe there's there's not just me. There's somebody in this room and you're saying tonight I'm going to make the decision that whether I made the mistake. Let me just say this. You're not strong enough to stop what God is doing in your life. You're not strong enough to stop the wind anyway.

The reason you keep getting hit after hit after hit is because you're trying to fight up against what God is trying to do in you. This is the last year that you fight against the last day. Tonight is the night where you make the decision, I will not fight.

It's not just something that we say in our declaration and we walk out and then do the opposite of what we're saying. >> So that's for somebody in this room. Can you lift your hands? >> There's a song I don't know know if Reggie know it. getting this key.

I don't know if it's worth it, but it says, "Lord, deliver me >> cuz all I ever do is hurt me. >> You don't have to play this." Okay. Lord, deliver me. Cuz all I ever do is hurt me. >> That was my testimony for a long time.

But Lord, deliver me. All I [screaming] ever do is hurt, >> Lord. Deliver us. It's the last night that we heard us. Tonight is the night. Come on, lift your hands and give it over to him. Tonight is the night. Here's the win that you need right here that you will not resist.

If you are in need of whatever you need, what what was broken, what was stolen, what was lost, I pray that you would lift your hands and receive the wind of the Lord in this place. Father, I thank you that you're moving by your power and by your spirit that without pretty music, God, that you would touch our minds, that you restore unto us the joy of our salvation.

I thank you that you restore back our purity, that you restore back a heart of flesh. I thank you that you restore our language, that you would give us voice back. I thank you, God. I thank you, God, that you're giving us strength back in this room. Oh, Father, I thank you that you give us humility back.

I sense your redemption in this place. Father, buy back what belongs to us. >> Your word says if a thief be found that he must restore back seven times as much. I believe some people are looking for payback right now. I believe some people are looking for payback in this room.

I believe there's some people that are looking for payback in this room. Oh God, I thank you that you're moving in this place. Oh, I thank you for healing power. Jehovah Rafa, you are Jehovah Rafa, you are >> your s Oh, let receive it. Receive it. I don't even just need loud sounds.

I need hearts to receive. We pour so much. We str we fight so much. But can we receive tonight? Can we get still enough to receive? Woo! Blow, wind, blow, blow, wind, blow, blow on those negative thoughts, those negative patterns, those negative ways of thinking. Give us new strength.

I don't know what it is that he's asking you to surrender, but I do believe that on the other side of surrender, there will be great power and and deliverance in Jesus name. Father, I thank you for having your way in us. Thank you, Jesus. We receive your strength.

Really quickly, the Lord, as we've been in worship, um he's ((music playing)) been really dealing with me. I feel like I have a word, especially for those of you that feel like uh you are a part of the Forward City family.

He gave me a word for us as a church. It's very simple, but it's profound and it's necessary. The word is that revival is still on the agenda. >> Let me say that a different way. Don't be distracted for revival is still on the agenda. >> When he told me that, I said, "Lord, what do you mean?" said the word isn't just for today. >> That word needs to carry you throughout the year >> because one of the main enemies to revival is distraction. >> And what God has spoken over this house shall come to pass.

But do not get distracted because revival is still on the agenda. Well, then I asked God, I said, "Well, God, what what typically will distract us?" And he said so clearly, he said, "What proceeds revival typically distracts my children." >> What proceeds revival typically distracts my ((music playing)) children. PT talked about it earlier in Ezekiel 37.

What proceeded revival was brokenness. My Lord. Come on now. >> So before there can be breakthrough, >> there has to be brokenness. >> And some of us are distracted by the season of brokenness. And we don't realize that breakthrough is on the way. Don't be distracted. Revival is still on the agenda.

That's not what blessed me. That's not what blessed me. What blessed me is the Lord took me to a specific passage in scripture. Because this week especially, we have been distracted by darkness, >> what's going on in the world around us, what's happening in the world around us.

But the Lord took me to a passage of scripture and gave me a revelation that was that was so interesting. Exodus 10. They're going to put it on the screen. We see here Moses encountering Pharaoh. So funny because Titus read earlier a scripture from this same passage, but it's one of the last plagues that hit the children of Israel.

Exodus 10:23. And the Bible says, or go back to 21, I'm sorry. Then the Lord said to Moses, "Lift your hand toward heaven, and the land of Egypt will be covered, watch this, with a darkness so thick you can feel it." >> Hold up. Wait right there. Pause right there. >> Will be covered with a darkness so thick that you can feel it.

I don't know about you, but there are sometimes, Leave that scripture right there. There are sometimes where things in my life are so dark. I can feel it. I feel despair. I feel sorrow. I feel left alone. I feel condemned. I feel ashamed. The darkness is so thick you can feel it.

But I was curious. What does that what does that word darkness mean? In the Hebrew that word darkness means uncertainty. So when things are dark, they're not just dark because they're wicked. >> They're dark because they're uncertain. ((applause)) >> Let's go to verse 22. So Moses lifted his hand to the sky and the deep darkness covered the entire land of Egypt for three days.

Now let's pause right here. This is why this is so important. God had just did multiple plagues. This is one of the last ones, the second to last one. But if you're a nerd like me, you and if you took the class, you can't just read the Bible.

You got to read the Bible. You might know this. The the plagues were very specific. They were not random. God was showing his power not just to the Egyptians but also to the Israelites >> who had been living living under their bondage for 400 years. >> So he had to prove to them that he was God.

Each plague was a direct attack at an Egyptian god. >> This plague here was an attack at the sun god. Rah. Each plague was God saying, "Call on your God >> and see if he'll help." >> But this plague specifically, I it revealed to the people that they had been trusting >> a light source that was not truly in power. >> How do I know that?

Go to the next verse. Because it says during all that time the people could not see each other and no one moved. But that's not what blessed me. But there was light as usual where the people of Israel lived. I need you to know I don't care what darkness happens around me.

Where I am is where God is. and come what may it shall not come by me. I need a hundred Block believers ((music playing)) to stand firm and know that the darkness may come. It may rise but my God is the God of light. Uh my ((music playing)) God is the God of wonders.

Uh my God is the God of miracles. >> ((music playing)) >> My God is the God of signs. My God, ((music playing)) don't you be scared of no darkness. >> Don't you be scared of what's going on around you. Last I check the blood is on your doorpost. And whatever the enemy tries to send, it cannot come nigh you.

I need 50 people in here that knows that they're covered by the blood of the lamb. ((music playing)) >> Now that's the shout. That's the shout. But babe, that's not what blessed me >> cuz I was reading PT. That's the easy shot. ((music playing)) As you would tell me, that's the easy shot.

The Lord challenged me though because he said, "Where there was darkness, exposed where there was an idol. I need about 25 intercessions to pray with and for me cuz we're about to hit something ((music playing)) where there is darkness exposes where there is an idol. And I need you to know for city that we are called to bring down idols ((music playing)) in the name of Jesus.

Uh whatever God place uh that thinks it has power, that thinks it ((music playing)) has authority, we call you down uh in the name of Jesus. Uh I need 50 intercessors to start praying. ((music playing)) Every dark place uh in the city of Colombia, every high place uh in the city of Colombia, every idol in government, ((music playing)) in politics, in school systems, we call it down uh in the name of Jesus.

Uh ((music playing)) and we expose it to the light. of Jesus Christ. ((music playing)) Wait, wait, wait, wait. Now, I'm almost done, but I have to walk us through how we actually do this. First, I know it's easy to be like, "Oh, yeah, there's darkness all around." No, first we have to repent for the darkness in us.

Father, expose whatever areas in my life uh that have been dark. Expose uh whatever areas in my life uh where I've trusted an idol, where I've trusted a high place. Come on, pray. Pray. Pray. Expose, oh God, uh whatever area where I've trusted uh something uh that is less powerful than you.

Uh where I've given it the seat, the throne, uh in my heart. Uh we repent now, God, uh for trusting uh in our jobs uh more than you. Uh ((music playing)) for trusting in our bank accounts uh more than you uh for trusting in our intellect ((music playing)) more than you. Uh we repent now God uh in the name of Jesus uh and we ask uh that you forgive us.

Uh ((music playing)) we know uh that the blood of Jesus uh can be applied uh to sins committed and that ((music playing)) will be committed. Uh but we still say uh that we repent uh and we turn uh we don't take advantage uh of ((music playing)) your grace. Uh we don't take advantage uh of your mercy.

We ask now God uh that you forgive us. ((music playing)) Uh we repent uh we repent uh we repent uh for getting in your way. ((music playing)) Uh we repent uh for being our own God. Uh we repent uh for not trusting you. Uh we repent uh for putting ((music playing)) our feelings uh and our emotions uh in comparison uh before you.

Uh we repent ((music playing)) now God uh individually and as a people. And we say have mercy. ((music playing)) Have mercy. Have mercy. Have mercy. Have mercy. Have mercy on us. Uh ((music playing)) have mercy on us. Uh you know our hearts are deceitfully wicked ((music playing)) and yet you still loved us. Have mercy. Have mercy.

And that is to expose it to light. [applause and cheering] to bring light >> into that space. >> Here's what blesses me the most about the story, PT. I really wish I could I preach this one day cuz what blesses me the most about the story is that although it was dark in Egypt, >> God did not remove the sun >> because it was still light >> where the Israelites were. >> Which means that just because there's darkness in an area That does not mean that there's darkness everywhere.

And what I need you to understand is that there might be dark areas, but you are the light [screaming] that's supposed to go into that space. I call you to the mission field of politics. I call you to the mission field of media. I call you to the mission.

I send you because you are the let father expose us ((music playing)) uh to new spaces uh and new places. Uh don't allow us uh to simply be ((music playing)) cooped up uh in this church uh in the four walls uh but send us uh and we'll go. Uh we'll engage culture for your glory.

We'll engage ((music playing)) culture for the gospel. We'll engage culture for your name. Uh we'll bring your ((music playing)) name glory. We'll bring your name favor. Send us and we'll go. We'll go with our flaws. Uh we'll go ((music playing)) with our mistakes. Uh we'll go with our worries. Uh we'll go. We'll go because you're with us.

Uh you're with us. Uh send us and we'll go. Uh send us and we'll preach. Uh send us and we'll pray. Uh send us ((music playing)) and we'll evangelize. Send us. Send us. Send us. If that's your prayer, lift your hands. Send us. Send us. ((music playing)) Uh we don't want to complain about the darkness.

Uh but we want to be the answer to ((music playing)) the darkness. Uh we carry the son of God on the inside of us. We carry the son of God ((music playing)) in our belly and in our heart. So send us and we'll let him go forth in ((music playing)) every space and in every area.

Darkness has no power because ((music playing)) you will go. City of Columbia, we're coming. South Carolina, we're coming. Los Angeles, we're coming. ((music playing)) Atlanta, we're coming. No, no, no, no, no. Cuz what's going to happen is you're going to be sitting back there and something's going to start to leak. >> Something's going to start to move. Nobody ain't even going to have to say nothing to you. You just going to be like, "Uhuh, I can't."

Sitting back here ain't enough. I got to do something. I got to go somewhere. I got to be Oh my God. I can't just stay here. Your baby is going to leave because God is sending. >> ((music playing)) >> Lift your hands. I'm sorry. Lift your hands up. Father, send us.

We'll go. Watch this. Not by ourselves, >> but we will go together. What that means is I'm not going to leave you. >> We'll go together. >> Father, we will no longer allow the idol of fear >> to cause us to stay in darkness. Send us, >> we will go.

If you are excited about the word of the Lord, can you just lift up a shout of praises? ((applause)) The Bible says Ezekiel prophesied and they still defeat a vast army. The only reason and the only way there could be an army if it's if there were individual soldiers.

And I came up here really to encourage you but also to stir your faith that it is time for the people of God. And he said it a few times but I don't I don't want you just to let the word go over your head. I want it to penetrate your heart.

It's time for the people of God to stop being lazy. >> We we we Hold on. Hold on. We've make church a place where we watch an army, >> but we never enlist. >> When I was I was teasing some of the staff earlier this week because uh this summer make 20 years I've been in full-time ministry and I was I was teasing them.

And I said, "Man, I got all these DVDs from when I would preach and lead worship in my 20s." And I said, "Man, y'all, young PT was crazy." I said, "Y'all don't understand who PJ Met. I would kick babies out of churches cuz they was crying. Admit preaching.

It's a baby. This is threatening me. Get them out. The Lord is speaking." I was wow. Wow. But one thing I was very passionate about in my 20s especially was operating in a prophetic because I had just tapped into the gift. And so I was just so passionate about it.

And everywhere that I would sing or preach, this is a true story. All throughout my 20s, I would make sure we had a God encounter and I would take my time and they they they would put me up as a closer. Not because I was the most talented.

Everybody everybody was better than me. But they would have me up um because it was like once Tra go up, it's God gonna move and we it's just gonna be over. And I couldn't sing very well. I'mma show y'all some footage. You you're going to laugh. It was hilarious.

Uh but we always have a move of God and I was I was around like maybe like 20 212 23 24 most of my 20s. And what I would do was I would lay hands on everybody and I prophesy to every individual. And by the time I got done, everywhere I went, there were bodies everywhere, right?

Could do that all night. I could literally, I'm not I'm not saying this out of boasting. I'm saying this out of a gift that I can operate in. I could tap into a vein, much like my wife and Pastor Jamal and so many others, and literally one by one, give you a prophetic word, lay hands on you, and the power of God will overwhelm you and you'll fall out.

And I would walk away from events like, man, we did it. And it wasn't until I got more mature in God that I understood that just because there was a move of God doesn't mean that the people of God had a move in them. Hear me. Hear me.

Hear me. Hear me. Hear me. That was strong enough to actually move them. >> And so what I didn't it took me years to finally catch it. years of being in youth ministry and all this stuff and all these amazing encounters to start understanding. Oh, encounters don't change people. >> It don't.

It can ignite you. It can illuminate something. It could Paul had an encounter on the road of Damascus. He was blinded. That's not really what changed him. What changed him was pursuit after the encounter >> because had he not pursued God after he fell off his donkey, he would have remained blind for the rest of his life.

And many of us >> come into atmospheres like this and encounter God. But we still walk blinded because we don't pursue him after this. And the question is, this is a general rebuke. How many revival nights do we have to come here >> and scream and do all this and you still >> that's good.

That's for them. No. When is it for you? >> When when when church and I'm talking to the Capitol C church, even people watching online. When is the move of God going to be enough for you? You're literally in Irmo watching right now. There's no snow outside. >> And you're going to repost like, man, they had a good time tonight. >> So, we're okay watching an army, but not being in an army.

((cheering)) And we can come in the presence of God and literally act like we do him a favor >> for worshiping him. As if the strength you have to stand up, you gave yourself. >> As if the strength you have to lift your hands, you gave yourself. As if the ability to actually even articulate, hallelujah, you gave yourself.

((cheering)) >> And the question is, church, how long? How long are we going to be spectators? I remember in my early 20s, I was they was laughing at me because I was telling them I I would I would lead worship from the keyboard. That's how my wife met me.

I would lead worship from the keyboard and I would sit here and I would sing songs and I just got spiritfilled. Like I'm talking like fully like filled with the spirit with with the evidence of speaking in tongues. That happened to me in in in in my early 20s.

I prayed over and over for it. It took me a while. I'm glad it took me a while because it also taught me that for some people you have to keep pursuing And it took a while. It wasn't overnight. It was months and months and months. And I was like frustrated.

I was like, God, you keep showing me this vision of me like being I want to tap in. I want to tap in. And finally, it happened. I never forget. And then so every Sunday after that, I'll be on the keyboard and I'll leave worship. This is true.

And I'll be up there singing and I'll just, you know, singing and then consuming fire. I'm just fall off the keyboard and get in the fetal position, start shaking for the rest of the service. Every Sunday. every Sunday. >> And I remember we had a woman, you remember Pastor Grant?

We had a woman named Pastor Grant. She was one of the pastors at the church. And she would have to pray with me before I went out to service because I always said I I won't go if I don't feel him. And because it was new for me, I needed a tangible feeling.

Like I needed something to like where I would just know when he was there. And so she'll pray with me in the back. And okay, okay, I feel him. I can go now. I feel him. I can go now. And I did that for about a year. And then the Lord matured me. >> And said, Travis, you don't have to feel me to go. >> Come on.

Come on. I'm trying to grow us up. Some of us came tonight and you're still waiting on a feeling to get engaged. Well, I don't feel nothing yet, and I don't want to fake. No, no, no. You praise him until you feel it. You worship him until you feel it.

You bring your body in alignment with your spirit and you say, "I will bless the Lord at all times and his praise will continually be in my mouth. This headache won't stop my praise. These bills won't stop my praise. This conflict won't stop my praise. This stress won't stop my praise.

I got a reason to bless the Lord. I don't come here for a feeling. Few years ago, few years ago, I was in Ghana, West Africa, and my pastor, I asked him, I was like, "Man, you pray different." So, I asked him the only question that the disciples ever asked Jesus.

I said, "Man, teach me how to pray like that. What you be like, you pray all the time." And I remember he said, "So, what's what's your prayer rhythm at the church?" And this was years years ago. We're at our old building. I said, "I mean, we pray like we were doing twice a week.

Now we do like one 6 a.m., but I'm about to kill it cuz it's dead." Cuz people don't really be coming consistently and feel like we going through the motion. Never forget what he told me, man. >> He said, "So crowds detect dictate how you >> how you pray."

Said, "You don't pray for a crowd. You pray because he's God. ((applause)) >> I said, "But it feel like we're just going through the motions." He said, "Son, you don't pray for a feeling." >> Babies, children have to be led by their emotions. >> And I knew I was a baby in Christ when Christ when I still needed a feeling to be active.

Your flesh never going to feel like reading the word. >> Come on. Don't Don't do that. Don't act like you that saved. As soon as I brush my teeth, I just my flesh is be like, "What is the hag got? Your flesh never going to feel like fasting. >> If it do, that's a diet.

You're not fasting right. cuz every pizza commercial was get it was just killing me in January. I don't even eat pizza, but I was like, your flesh won't feel like praising God >> because for most of y'all, your default is really cussing them out. >> Y'all can look at me like that, but I'm going to keep on talking till I come down your row.

Valentine's coming >> for some of y'all. Your flesh going to be like, I could just text them back. >> Look at somebody. Tell them, "Don't you do it. Don't you do it. Don't you do it. Paul writes, Paul writes in Romans chapter 12, I'm pretty sure Paul writes, "Whatever you feed the most will rule you. >> If you feed your flesh, >> your flesh will reign supreme.

But if you feed your spirit, that's why we do revival night. >> That's why we come in this building on Wednesdays at noon. I don't care if it's five people. >> I don't come for crowds. >> That's why we pursue God. >> Why? Cuz I'm feeding my spirit. >> And I'm telling my flesh, you don't rule me. >> Hallelujah. >> I command my soul >> to bless him. >> Look at somebody.

Tell them this ain't a feeling. Tell them I do it until I feel something. >> I ain't got to feel something to do it. >> It's a difference in your maturity level with God. And this is a church. The only purpose for a church according to Ephesians is to equip the saints into maturity. >> Sound and speakers and lights and great musicians. that that's nowhere in scripture for church. >> That's something we've made up. >> And I'm cool with it.

I love it. I love it. We always going to do it. But that's not the purpose of church. >> The purpose of church is for the people of God, Paul said in Ephesians, to be equipped into maturity. >> Come on, tell somebody it's time to grow up. Travis, why you talk?

Why you just you just just killing the mood? >> No, I want to let you know. If you want a concert, go to Colonial Life or somewhere else where that's been offered. This ain't that. This team did not come up here and consecrate themselves. Many of them fast on Tuesday this week and go through all of this and come here and be.

They didn't come here to put on a show for for none of us. >> That's churches that do that. Amazing. Forward City would not be that. We're not in the business of putting on entertainment so that you can feel a little better about your sinful life. No. No.

Sorry. Go somewhere else if that's what you want. >> Oh, that made me feel a little good tonight so I can go and do the same thing. No. We're here so that you can be equipped into maturity >> because you are a worship leader. ((applause)) >> There's no microphones in heaven. >> You going to have to have your own song of holy coming out of you. >> Tell somebody else it's time to grow up.

I say that for a reason. Yeah, man. We could do a line and sometimes God would lead me to do that. I only do it now when he lead me to cuz it's costly. >> It does. You don't know that. You go home and go to sleep and I'll be up all night because I poured out virtue laying hands on people. >> I do that when God tell me to do it.

But I am wondering when we're going to mature enough to lay hands on ourselves. ((applause)) >> As as a pastor, I'm burdened by this. For real. I'm burdened because I I I I feel like many of us were raising we're raising experienced addicts. >> If you've been coming here for a year and you still can't tap in in your own car, we're doing something wrong.

If you're still waiting for what what the pastor said and God hadn't spoken to you, >> not talking about audibly. I'm talking about in your spirit. He hadn't given you an uncction or let you do something. We're doing something. That means that you're coming here and having experience, but you're not being equipped. >> We're not in a business of you having a good time.

We're in the business of growing of all of us growing up >> so that we can be who God has called us to be. >> God, deliver us from good times. >> Oh, that was good tonight. They sung my song. But did you sing a song? >> Your Bible says, "Sing a new song to the Lord." >> When was the last time you made up a homemade song?

Just you and Jesus. didn't sound good, but you was just singing. It didn't make sense. Jehovah Gyra, you hear my body. What? Sing your own song to the Lord. Lay lay hands on yourself, man. >> Walk around your own house >> and cast those spirits out. >> ((applause)) >> Hey, so wake up.

My mom be standing over me just all and just Jesus. Jesus. I'm like, >> I love that she didn't wait on someone else. >> Ezekiel didn't wait on somebody else. Those dry bones, I want you to see them. The dry bones in your life. Maybe it's employees. I love the challenge Pastor Jamar gave, man.

The dry bones in your life. Maybe it's your family. They're waiting. The Bible says Paul writes, "Man, creation is waiting with eager anticipation for the sons of God to be revealed. >> The sons and daughters, creation is waiting. Bones are waiting for your voice. You're still coming for entertainment.

And we do revival nights not for entertainment for but for activation >> that something in you would be stirred up. >> I want you to say this. My passion >> my passion >> my responsibility. >> My responsibility. >> Well Paul wrote Timothy. He says, "Man, I I got stuff to do and your mom and your grandma, all of them been in ministry and I lay hands on you.

You're going to be amazing men. God's going to use you to do some incredible things." He says, "But I got to tell you something." He said, "Fend your own flame. >> I'm not I'm not I'm not coming back every Sunday at 9 or 11 to fan the flame for you.

I'm not coming back every first Friday to fan the flame for you, Timothy. I'm not I'm not coming to permission conference and an engaged culture to fan the flame. You you are responsible for your own passion. Fan your own flame. What are you doing during the week? Come on, man.

No, we got to talk. I hope y'all hear my heart. I'm burdening about this, man. >> How many more December 31st are you going to drag in and barely make it in? Woo! I made it through another year. We got to grow up. >> Either the Bible works or it don't.

But if your diet is only one time a week, >> you will be malnourished. Do you know what 90 minutes is in a week? 2%. >> And that's your diet. >> I'm not just talking to the people under my voice. I'm talking to the people at home. >> I'm talking to the Capitol C church. >> God is coming back for a bride without spot or wrinkle.

But we're distracted with everything else. Distracted with hustling and distracted with with our wish list and distracted with our bitterness and with our rage and distracted with unforgiveness and we just we give everything our time but >> God. >> Say it again. My passion. >> My passion >> my responsibility. >> My responsibility.

I had to shift this because I'm burdened >> and because tonight means nothing if you don't fan your flame tomorrow. >> It's it's literally it's a waste of time. Guys, ((applause)) we just came and had a good time. If the next time you engage his presence is a month from now, >> at the next revival night, you we just we just we just spent money on electricity. >> My passion my responsibility.

Lift your hands. Lord, would you forgive us? >> Come on. This is where revival starts. >> They don't start in a church. It start in a heart. >> Forgive me for being distracted. Forgive me for acting like you owe me anything. Forgive me for making this about everything but you. >> Forgive me for pursuing you only for what you can do for me.

Mature me, God. mature me past having to feel excited to be obedient. >> Hallelujah. >> I'm not obedient based off of inspiration. I'm obedient because you've spoken. >> Forgive me for needing to feel height to pursue you. Stir us up, God, so that we can seek you early in the morning. >> Seek Stir us up, God.

And so instead of running to our lunch break, we're running to encounter you. Stir us up, God, so that we didn't just come through hot for the first 21 days, but that we can have 365 days of pure passion and pursuit. >> Consecrate our hearts. If there's anything in our lives that do not bring you glory, shut it down. >> If it's a Netflix series, shut it down. >> If it's somebody we follow on social media, shut it down.

If it's a relationship that does not bring you glory and that's toxic, shut it down. If it's a way of thinking that we inherit it, shut it down. casting out all vain imaginations >> and bringing into captivity everything that does not align with you. Shut it down. Come on.

Desperation has a posture. If you really want them, come on right now in the spirit. Go after them. Come on. You don't need nobody to lay hands on you. You go after them. You go after him. You got to learn how to create a moment, not wait for a moment.

You got to learn how to create a moment, daughter, not wait on a moment. You got to be able to create a moment, son. Not wait on a moment. Children wait for a moment. Adults create the moment. Mature me to start creating a moment. Well, Travis, how do I create a moment?

I create a moment because wherever worship is, he is. And so I lift him until he comes. Come on. Come on. Come on. Come on. Pursue him. As the deer pants for water. Come on. As the deer pants for water. I'm not waiting on a feeling. I'm not waiting on an emotion.

I need you, God, more than I need the air I breathe. I need you, God, more than I need the food I eat. I need you, God. More than your blessings, I need you, God. More than health, I need you, God. More than family, I need you, God.

You're the only thing that matters. You're the only one that will last. Your word will stand forever. Come on. Come on. Grow up in the spirit. Come on. Come on. Come on. We're building your spiritual stamina tonight. You don't need big bass and drums in order to feel God.

Come on. Tap in. Come on, tap in. Tap in. Think of his goodness. Think of his character. Think of his holiness. Think of his righteousness. Think of the bloody cross. Think of the empty tomb. Tap in. Think of the 24 elders. Think of the four living creatures. Think of the multitudes worshiping.

Tap in. Tap in. Tap in. Tap in. To the only one who is holy. To the only one who is mighty. to the only one who reigns supreme. To the only one who has dominion and power. Come on, tap in. ((music playing)) >> Come on, tap in. >> Tap in.

Come on. This is not a concert. This is a prayer meeting. He said, "My house shall be called a house of prayer." Hey. Hey. Back in the '9s, all we did was pray. We didn't have good music. We would come and just lock ourselves in the church and pray.

God, teach us how to pray again. Teach us. We got too fancy. God, teach us how to pursue again. Hey, we're racing to concerts. We're racing to conferences. We're racing to moments and experiences, but we don't run to prayer. Teach us to pray again. That's it. That's it.

That's it. That's it. This is not a moment of intercession for your children. This is not a moment of intercession for Forest City. This is not a moment of intercession for Colombia. This is a moment of intercession for you. Intercede for yourself. Stir me up again. Hey, stir me up again.

On the whole team. It's me. It's me. It's me. Oh Lord. I need personal encounter. I need personal revival. >> I need a type of revival where my spirit stops being okay listening to Kendrick Lamar and Beyonce. I need that kind of revival. I need a type of revival to where something come on the TV and I can't even watch it anymore.

I need that kind of revival. I need a kind of revival where I'm disturbed with things that don't glorify you. I need that type of revival. Not just church, not just religion. I need to be purified. I need to be purified. I'm telling y'all, doing those 21 days of consecration, I got a habit.

I like watching other churches. There was some churches my spirit couldn't even watch. And I wasn't being judgmental. I told my wife, I said, "I'm not trying to be judgmental." But it's like the more with God, the lower my tolerance is for stuff he's not in. ((cheering)) My spirit couldn't handle it, Rocky.

I'm not talking about something crazy. I'm not talking about a crazy movie on Amazon Prime. Church, different church services. My spirit I said, "Oh, I my spirit was grieving because I didn't sense God in it. I don't have to give you a bunch of rules. That's religion. Rules are for people who don't know him. >> Moses went up to the mount and came down with rules cuz the people didn't know him.

The proof they didn't know him is because when they came down, they was already building another golden idol, a calf. They didn't know him. So God gives rules to people who don't know him. But when you know him, you don't need rules because your spirit won't even be able to take stuff that he don't like.

((applause)) That's discernment. Get closer to him. >> When you got real relationship, you don't need religion. Your spirit will check you. [screaming] >> Your spirit will say, "No, I can't stay here." Your spirit will say, "No, he not good for me. She not good for me." Your spirit will say, "No, I can't take this deal offer."

Your spirit is say, "I got to get out of this room." Your spirit is say, "I got to change this channel." Have you ever watched a movie and it started at the opening scene and your spirit spoke to you >> and you ignored it and you got later in the movie and was like, "God, that's why you didn't want me to watch this." >> When you with them, your spirit will check you. >> Religious boxes are created for people who do not have relationship. >> This is why the veil was torn.

Yes, >> the priests had to go in for the people cuz they didn't have a relationship themselves. >> But when Jesus died on the cross, he said, "No, you can come to my throne boldly. You can have your own relationship with me. You don't need religion. You need relationship."

And I promise you, when you fall in love with him, you'll fall in hate with the things he don't like. ((cheering)) Your tolerance for sin is a proof that you don't have a real relationship. >> I'm not saying you never met him. I'm saying you don't fan the flame. >> And whatever you don't fan will become cold. >> The dry bones.

And I'm going to say this for the rest of this year. Shout them. The dry bones were not pagan people. >> They represented God's people. I was talking to a family member. He said, "Man, honestly, like the world need to hear the word more, you know." I said, "No, you you I'm a pastor.

It's not that the world need to hear the world the word more. It's that the church haven't actually heard it yet." >> So, my burden is for us. >> I won't talk like this when I'm out there >> cuz I know they don't know yet. So, I'm just trying to Hey, man.

What's your name? Nah, man. You know, yo, I'm just trying to connect. But here, my job ain't to just connect with you. >> I'm a pastor here. >> I have a graceful evangelism. That's why people get saved here every year. It's a grace on the house. My wife, all of us, we can every I mean, every week people are getting saved, but that's that's 50 people out of 2,000 that's coming here.

We don't Let me make Let me just make this announcement. We're not here just to try to reach the lost in the church. This is fishing in an aquarium. This is easy work. >> You already if you already in church, you already got a hand halfway up anyway.

We be celebrating over silly stuff >> and the devil just like, "Oh man, they actually think they doing something." >> 2400 got saved last year. And most people clap about that. I'm not clapping about that. >> I give God glory for it. But it's almost sad that 2400 people got saved in this building.

The question has to be asked, >> what are the 2,000 people doing in here that come every week? >> That number should be times 10. >> If people were actually getting saved on your job and didn't have to come to church >> to get saved, what what are you saying?

I'm saying where the dry bones. >> I hope y'all hear my heart. It's a burden for me, man. >> This is stuff I lay on my face about. I cry about. I weep about. I intercede about. God, would you wake up your church? That's what revival is. >> The word revival, Webster's dictionary, it literally means to revive. >> In other words, to bring back to life.

The spiritual definition of revival is to awaken, >> to awaken passion, >> to awaken what's dead. and we aren't passionate about the things of God. >> He's calling us back. >> This year, I'm telling y'all, the whole focus is the revival, hear me, of the church. ((applause)) >> If we can get on fire, [snorts] >> watch out, world.

The devil is not intimidated by a pack church. He's scared of a praying church. >> Not a praising church. A praying church. Cuz you can praise and jump and clap. I've seen it. I'm a church boy. Ain't none of y'all been to church more than me. Trust me.

Trust me. I was basically born on on the pews. Was in church five days a week when I was growing up. Five. Count them. That's not I'm not That's not hype. And twice on Sundays, not a nine and 11. An 11 and a six. >> Same service. It want no two different sick.

One serve one. No, you serve every everybody did the same thing. There was one user that came and got your gum every Sunday 52 weeks a year. Sister Gibson. So, I know I know because I've seen it. I know you can praise and stay the same, >> but you're not going to pray a lot >> and stay the same.

It is impossible. >> It is impossible. ((applause)) So, that's why the devil don't want you to pray. He don't mind you praising. Come in here. Jump around. Dad thing coming back too. Release them. No, no, no, no, no, no. Teach us how to pray. >> Come on. We're about to bounce.

We're about to bounce. But I want Let's do two minutes of just you lifting up prayer to the king. Come on. Would you do that? Would you lift your hands and lift your voice? Do you want to change? Pray. You want to be anointed, pray. A prophet, a preacher, a bishop laying hands on you only begins something.

It doesn't sustain anything. my passion, my responsibility. And some of us, we're barely into February, and the passion we had during the fast is already starting to die out. No, you got to fan. I came to remind you. Release the worshipper. Fan that flame every day. Every day.

Every There's no days off with this. You think the devil taking a day off? Every day. Every day. every day. Come on. That's it, church. That's it, church. >> Yes, Lord. It's me. It's me. It's me. It's me. It's me. It's me. Man, if revival happened in me, sick people will get healed.

If revival happening in in me, my family members will be delivered. If revival happens in me, I can walk in power and authority. Son ofK went running into a demon. They said, "Man, Paul, I know. Peter, I know. Who are you? because they were trying to walk in something that they haven't fl into flame.

Let your fire burn in me, God. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you. I I hear the Lord inviting you back to intimacy. That's what this is.
