What Does It Mean to Be in Christ - Sunday Service

Transcript

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Amen. Just keep it moving. Amen. Well, it's opportunity for prosperity time, opportunity for wholeness time. Amen. If you need an envelope, raise your hands. Ushers will get one into your hands. And I want to share something with you out of the book of Galatians chapter 6.

Um, uh, starting at verse 7 in the King James. And then I want to show you something in the mirror. 6-10. He says, "Be not deceived. God's not mocked or made a fool of. For whatsoever a man seweth, that shall he also harvest or reap. For he that sweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption, but he that sweth to the spirit shall of the spirit reap life everlasting."

And let us not be weary in welloing. For in due season we shall reap if we faint not. If we don't give up, cave in and quit. And verse 10 says, "As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, but especially unto them who are in the household of faith."

Now listen to this in the uh mirror study. He says, "Show show business does not deceive God." Show business. I mean, you know, got a lot of show business in churches these days. Show business does not deceive God. Do not be led astray and then put your nose up at God as if it was God who let you down.

Man, this is powerful. He says, you know, you look at situations in your life and and you think it's God that let you down. He says, but the real issue is the harvest always reveals the seed. The flesh cannot compete with the spirit. Just like with Adam, the fruit of the do-it-yourself trees still produces death.

While faith produces the spirit fruit of the life of the ages, the God kind of life. Every good deed has a predictable harvest. Let's not get discouraged in the in between times. We used to call that the stalk time, the in between time, wondering where where is God?

Let us take advantage of every opportunity to be a blessing to everyone we meet without neglecting our fellow faith family. Take advantage of that opportunity. You know, one of the things I'm meditating on is to make sure I'm not striving and performing to be anointed, but to recognize by what Jesus has done, that anointing is in you. >> So, you don't need to do something to get more of the anointing.

You just need to learn how to respond from what you already have. Amen. >> And uh let we where where were we this past week? We were in uh Las Vegas for another part of the tour this past week and uh Taff and I ordered some breakfast and right before the the breakfast came up, the the spirit of God on the inside of me says, "You have the supply for this man that's getting ready to knock on your door.

I wonder what that is and how you know it's going to be a man." Well, doorbell rung and it was a man. He came in and and the Lord told me, he said, "Now, I want you to make his day." I said, "Okay." And I went and got a big bill.

None of your business how big it was. I went and got a big bill and um he finished everything up and and I put it in his hand. He froze. He said, "I just want you to know you just made my day." I said, "That's what the Lord just said.

That's what the Lord just said." There ain't nothing like being a blessing. >> You understand what I'm saying? Ain't nothing like that. You know, and I pray that this week >> that you can be a blessing to somebody >> that God will use you to take somebody's supply that you have >> and sew that into somebody else.

And I'm not talking about just that church. I'm talking about wherever God will lead you this week. Yes. >> Have your mind open and ready to be a blessing. Amen. >> Praise God. Father, we thank you for the opportunity to give, to be a blessing. That no matter how crazy it gets in the world, Lord, you're going to be our supply.

You take care of us so we can be a blessing to others. We thank you for it. Now, in Jesus mighty name we pray. And everybody said, "Amen." >> Amen. >> Go ahead and uh ushers, pass the buckets, and let's go ahead and sew it. Praise God. >> Don't give up.

Don't cave in. Don't quit. The same thing is true where this grace life is concerned. Don't give up. Don't cave in. Don't quit. Now, I had the spirit of the Lord on the way here. I I I I I saw this young lady, and I've been seeing a lot lately.

I saw this young lady saying, "Lord, ain't no hope for me. What I've done is inexcusable. It's shameful, and I'm trying to receive your forgiveness, but I I just I just can't forgive myself." And you know, the Bible says in Hebrews that he will remember your sins no more.

The problem is you keep remembering it. >> You keep remembering it. But I'm telling you, it's a done deal. If you can can receive forgiveness and live your life as somebody who can believe I'm forgiven. Now, I know it it the thing keeps coming up in your head trying to make you feel, well, that's hypocritical.

What I did, I did. You ain't the first one that did what you did, and you ain't going to be the last one that did what you did. But there were so many people in the Bible that did what they did. But there's something about the power of God's blood to forgive you of it.

And it's it's taking the identity he has given you. You are not uh condemned for the rest of your life. It's not, "Well, God can't use you no more. Oh, I can't believe I did that. Oh, I can't believe I let that happen. Oh, what an egregious thing that took place in my life."

You got to get a hold of this this morning. You got to let go of that. You got to let it go. I'm You got to be fed up with I'm just I'm I'm I'm fed up with feeling bad. I'm feel fed up with feeling guilty. I'm tired of feeling condemned. and you come to church and you love God and you want to go forward, but every time it gets to believing God for what he's done, you just think, "Well, I'm just not worthy.

Well, it's just I got so much shame for what I did and I'm just you you you're still pouring ashes over your head and God's already released the beauty. Could you come right quick? I want to It may be one or two of you. You might not want to come.

I got a few minutes and I'm going to count to three and I'm going to go and preach. One, two, three. All right, somebody coming. All right, come on. Thank you, Lord. >> And if you can do this and don't take your time coming, you know, 5 minutes go by and you going you'll dwindle on down here.

And I know you're calculating the cost, but you you you got to be free from people. >> Be free from people. I ain't got time to be concerned about what somebody think about me or somebody trying to figure out what I did. They did something, too. So, come on.

All right. Now, you're already delivered. You're already free. And you're already forgiven. There's nothing magical that's going to happen that's going to do any more than what Jesus has already done. You just got to take it. There's nothing magic going to happen. There's nothing so powerful about me that that something's going to happen.

I I had you to come to the altar because the altar is going to be your Jehovah Gyra where every time you pass by bird at you going to say that's why I left that shame >> at that church right there. I left the shame there. I left that condemnation right there and I ain't never going to pick it up no more.

I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. And so everything that doesn't go right, you blame it on what you did. Oh, if I hadn't have done that. Oh, but if I had let that go. Oh, I can't believe I did that. Oh, that was just so egregious and so nasty.

AND I JUST, OH, it's time for you to let all that stuff go right here at this altar. >> All right. Now, the only thing I'm going to do, I'm going to lightly lay hands on you cuz I feel like it. But I ain't going to be pushing you down.

And this ain't about me trying to show out. I ain't going to be holling in your ear, nothing like that. I need you to make your mind up that you're going to receive the forgiveness that God has already given you. All right? And you are a new creation.

I'm going to pray for you now. And then I'm going to teach on the new identity that you have and you going to take this lesson that I'm going to teach on and you're going to use it to whip the devil for the rest of your life. And honey, I want you to watch and see what God is going to do.

Watch and see what God is going to do. Watch and see what God is. I'm looking for the person I I saw. It was you. I saw you and you're the reason why I'm doing this right now. Sometimes God will give you an image and picture of people you ain't never met before. >> And when you see them, you're like, I'm they look so familiar to me.

In the name of Jesus, lift your hands up, honey. This thing's going, it don't even matter. In the mighty name of Jesus, freedom. Receive it right now. Receive everything Jesus has done for you. Receive everything Jesus has done for you. Let it go. Receive that forgiveness right now.

It's already been done. You hadn't done You don't have to do nothing special. He's already forgiven you. It's over. No more condemnation. No more shame. No more none of that. It's just over with now in the name of Jesus. You are forgiven. You are forgiven. No more condemnation.

Receive that gift of no more condemnation right now in the mighty name of Jesus. And I'm telling you, whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Let me tell you something. He's already given you that freedom. He just wants you to receive it right now. Just receive that freedom right now.

Receive it right now. He's already done it. It's done. It's finished. It can't be undone. It's done. It's finished. He don't remember it no more. So, you quit remembering it. Amen. You cast that thing out of your mind. And in the name of Jesus, we're leaving it right here. at the altar of World Changers Church.

It's over with. Don't pick it up. Don't take it with you. It's over. It's over. It's over. No more condemnation. No more shame. None of that. It's over in the name of Jesus. It's over. It's over in the name of Jesus. Leave it right here. Don't take it with you.

Leave it right here. It's over right now in the name of Jesus. Amen. It's over right now in the name of Jesus. Praise God. Come on, church. Let's rejoice with them and be exceedingly glad. Amen. Father, we thank you for this another opportunity to minister to these your precious sheep.

Thank you, Lord, that revelation knowledge will flow freely and uninterrupted and unhindered by any satanical demonic force. Speak through my vocal cords. think through my mind. None of me, all of you. It's in Jesus' name we pray. And everybody said, "Amen." >> If you have your Bibles, go with me to Matthew 3:1 17 and then Matthew 4 verse 1-3 and then verse 6.

Again, Matthew 3:1 17. then Matthew 4 1-3 and then verse six. Now, we're going to um talk about today uh what does it mean to be in Christ? And I'm going to start off with the same illustration we started off with last week. Here is the envelope. It represents Jesus.

It represents Christ. And here's a pen. And it represents all of us. It represents mankind. It represents you and me. All right? So, please understand something. God is the one that put you in Christ. >> You didn't work for it. It ain't nothing you did with. He out of his love, he put you.

I mean, all you had to do is say, "Lord, I believe." And so, he put you he put you in Christ. So, say out loud, "I'm in Christ." >> I'm in Christ. >> All right. So, what does it mean to be in Christ? It means for you to now share in all of his accomplishments.

Everything that Christ achieved, everything that Christ accomplished, righteousness, redemption, wisdom, all of the finished works. He accomplished all the finished works. Everything Christ accomplished to be in him now means you are sharing with his accomplishments. >> Mhm. >> So whatever he accomplished because you're in the envelope, he's righteous.

You righteous >> not because you did something. You in him. That's right. >> See, God put you in Christ. And Christ accomplished righteousness, redemption, deliverance, healing, wholeness. Christ Christ accomplished all of that for you. All the finished works of Jesus. You're in union with him. You're complete in him.

You are forgiven. So now instead of you living this life through your past identity motivated by the old man, he says, "I'm going to take you and put you in Christ and from now on you're going to share with all of his accomplishments." >> Hallelujah. Whatever happens to this envelope happens to the pen. >> Glory to God. >> If the envelope died, you died.

You died to that old man. >> If the envelope was resurrected, you resurrected. Cuz you you you are co you were co-with. Everything happened to him happened to you. If the envelope is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, you seated. >> Amen. The problem is is we want to step out of the envelope and do it ourselves.

How far has that gotten you? It's not sustainable. You may be successful for a whole year. You going back, somebody going to do something, make you do something, then the condemnation and all that. See, YOU DON'T YOU don't measure your righteousness by your behavior. Somebody say, "Well, is you still righteous?"

Well, let's see. Jesus, you still righteous? Yep. And you you in him, so you still righteous. >> Oh, I hope y'all get this. But religion's got your mind thinking you can't be still righteous because look at what your behavior was. Your behavior was a mess when he put you in Christ, which is why he put you in Christ. >> You You thought you were flawless before you GOT IN CHRIST.

WELL, I GOT TO GET myself together first and then I come to church. You ever heard that before? >> You ain't You weren't together the day you came to church. Neither were you together when he put YOU IN CHRIST. YOU GOT TO UNDERSTAND SOMETHING. You need God. >> Amen. >> You keep trying to do things on your own.

YOU NEED GOD. >> NO MAN COMES to him except he's drawn by the SPIRIT OF GOD. YOU NEED GOD. >> YOU YOU THINK YOU GOING TO get up to heaven and give your list of all your accomplishment. Man, they don't want to see all of that. Listen, you're going to get there because envelopes are going to show up.

Amen. >> This is your NEW IDENTITY. YOUR NEW identity is based ON THE ENVELOPE. YOU'RE NOT YOUR NEW IDENTITY IS BASED ON CHRIST. >> YOU'RE IN CHRIST. I AM SHARING WITH everything he's achieved, everything that he's accomplished. I am in Christ. Now, here's what happens. The enemy is still going to try to use behavior to try to convince you. >> So, the enemy is going to show up and he's going to say, "No, you ain't no in Christ.

Look at your behavior. >> Now, here's how you got to respond. You got to respond from the envelope. >> You got to respond from Christ. >> Look at your behavior. So, your response is, "That's not me no more." >> Amen. >> Hallelujah. >> You have to respond. That's not me. >> The enemy is going to use all those crazy thoughts and you're going to be thinking about them like, "Oh, Lord, that's not me no more."

THAT'S RIGHT. >> ALL THE STUFF YOU DID, SOME OF THE STUFF when you came up to the altar to pray and then you go back to your seat and he's still TALKING TO YOU. HE TALKING TO YOU WHILE YOU'RE AT CHURCH. RESPOND. THAT'S NOT me no more. I'm in Christ. >> What you mean that AIN'T YOU NO MORE?

YOU JUST DID IT LAST NIGHT. I KNOW, BUT THIS MORNING I let it all go and I got in the envelope and that's not me no more. I'm in Christ. People hesitate. They have a hard time with this because religion tells you what you've got to do trying to get you to do what Jesus has already done.

Please trust God. All that's all that's been demonstrated through the law and the prophets. Go read all of everybody who did stuff on their own without a Christ. Please trust God. God says in order for your behavior to change, your identity has got to change. So, I'm going to help you out and put you in the envelope.

And if you just stay in the envelope and believe that you share with the accomplishments of the envelope, the behavior will follow >> the identity and before you know it, you got some behavior in the envelope >> cuz it follows your identity. >> But we just CAN'T GET THAT.

WE GOT THIS, you know, we think we know everything. We got this little thing about well now you got to do these five things in order for God to get I was asking the Lord a question this past week. I was getting ready for this meeting. This meeting in Las Vegas was the most unique meeting I've ever experienced.

It was it was day for it was um what city 14 and uh some guy got up was testifying and he talked about how he was in prison and he talked about all the how he was addicted to drugs. He talked about that and then he talked about but one day turned the television on.

He watched me and then he talked about how he didn't like me and how he got offended to me and then he talked about how the word got in him and then he talked about how he adopted me as a spiritual father and he talked about how now he's a son of grace and then he got on his knees and he looked at the woman next to him and he said, "And you been with me through all of this and bowed down, got that ring OUT OF HIS POCKET?" >> YES, HE DID.

He got the ring OUT OF HIS POCKET. WOULD YOU DO ME THE PLEASURE of being my wife and marry me? I said, God dog grace gang. Look at him. LOOK AT HERE. WHAT ELSE GOING TO HAPPEN? >> WELL, what'd you do, brother? I just I just I just stayed where God put me >> in Christ. >> And all of that changed from the prison to his knees. >> Are y'all following me?

Get this. There's going to be the temptation for you to keep going back to what do you have to do? What do you got to do? You got to do something. It can't It can't be that simple. That's why it's so awesome. It just can't be that easy. what you're talking about getting in Christ.

See, once you start accepting who you are in Christ, everything follows that. Behavior follows that. What to do follows that. You become more open to what God wants you to do. But we got to get free from this religious mindset that says you got to do this in order for God to do that.

That is under the law. That is called dead works. thinking that you got to do something in order to deserve something from God. We still think we deserve something from God. So, we got to do something to deserve it. And so, we think, well, I GOT TO BE GOOD.

WHY YOU GOT TO BE GOOD? Because I want God to be good to me, so I got to be good. Well, that ain't how you get God's goodness. God ain't good to you because you're good. God's good to you because he's good. And if you believe him, goodness is going to come on your on your life and through your life.

Receive from him. See, there's no way you can't get God's goodness because you the branch and he the vine. And the branch is connected with the vine. And whatever is the vine has is going to come on the branch. You just got to stay in union with him.

Don't jump out of the envelope. >> All right. Now, watch this. >> I can preach all of that. I like that. I heard that. Stay enveloped. >> All right. I give you credit for it now, but that'll be mine in about an hour. Stay enveloped and sealed. I feel all right this morning. >> Now watch this.

Now, now let me show you what happened to Jesus. Here it is. Matthew 3:17. And lo, a voice from heaven saying, "This is my beloved son in whom I'm well pleased." The identity is revealed. Who is this man, Jesus? He's the son of God, my beloved son. Now we move right into Matthew chapter 4.

All right, look what he says here. Then when Jesus led up of the spirit into the wilderness, ain't that interesting? The Holy Ghost led him in the wilderness. Quit quit talking about the devil. The devil the devil is responsible for me being right here. Sometimes the Holy Ghost will lead you in a discomforting situation to help you mature.

Some some of us we listen we got to be mature in order for us to accomplish what God wants us accomplish. M m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m m maturing is a part of this this this journey. >> You're on a journey TO MATURE.

YOU DON'T MATURE IN a comfort zone. SO THE SPIRIT OF GOD LEADS Jesus into an uncomfortable zone called the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. THE HOLY GHOST AIN'T NO THAT'S THE DEVIL. NO, THAT'S THE HOLY GHOST THAT LED HIM. So the next time you find yourself in a in in in discomfort, don't be so quick to say it's the devil.

Just calm down and remember who you are in the envelope. Yeah, this is this is not comfortable, but I'm I'm enveloped. >> This is not comfortable, but I'm enveloped. I I don't have the money to pay the rent, but I'm enveloped. Ah. >> Ah, my body's got pain, and the doctor said I'm, but I'm enveloped.

You have to continuously remind yourself of God putting you where he put you in the envelope. >> All right. So, now watch this. Next verse. And when he had fasted 40 days and 40 nights, somebody says, "Well, why did he fast?" To stay aware of who he was.

Fasting to stay aware of who he's fasting is not going to make you more anointed. Fasting is not going to make you more powerful. You done got all the anointing and power you need. But what fasting will do is keep you in alignment. keep you in in en in enveloped, keep you in alignment with your identity. >> Yeah.

Jesus said this this kind of unbelief cometh not out except through prayer and fasting. What was he saying? You got to get yourself in a in in belief alignment. >> This kind of unbelief is not deal. You remember they talked about the little boy who had a devil and the disciples asked the question, how come we couldn't cast this devil out?

Jesus answered the question because of your unbelief. >> Yes. >> So now unbelief became the subject. >> Yes. >> This kind of unbelief cometh not out except by prayer and fasting. We thought it was the demon. >> Yeah. >> So you think you got to go on a fast in order to deal with a demon.

He's already defeated. Ain't nobody got to fast. See know what you you're fasting to try to get more powerful so you can deal with the demon. >> Amen. >> That's not what that's talking about. Your unbelief is the reason why you're fasting. to get you in alignment with who you are, who you really are.

And so when you're struggling to try to believe what God has already done, when you're struggling sometimes to stay in stay enveloped, it's good to go on a fast and spend some time praying just to remind yourself of who you are and where you are and who's you are.

Amen. >> Amen. >> Now to get some more anointing. The anointing, the Bible says 1 John 2:27, is in you. >> That's right. >> That anointing is in you. Okay. So, you don't perform to get more anointing. You respond to the anointing or from the anointing you already have. >> Glory be to God. >> I made my mind up.

I am no longer negotiating with doubt. >> Y'all don't hear what I'm saying. I will not negotiate with doubt. I respond to the anointing and and and it's an easy flow. He's saying to do something, I just flow from what he SAYS TO DO. I DON'T PUT NO PRESSURE on myself to do something.

Oh, but because I got to see something to happen. Well, what if something don't happen? Hey, the best thing to happen is I stepped out on faith. >> Y'all got to quit doing that. We got to quit turning our church services into circuses. >> Thank God all the clowns been put out of this church.

Praise God. We ain't got no. >> He said next verse. Now watch this carefully. And when the tempter came to him, he said, "If thou be the son of God," pause right there. The first place of attack in all of our lives is our identity. >> That's going to be the number one place.

He not going to talk about your sinning. He not going to talk about all the stuff that you think makes you a bad Christian or a good Christian. He wants to see if all of that behavior has gotten you to question who you are. See, the power and the confidence of knowing knowing about your identity is when the behavior is not matching the identity, you still say, "I'm the righteousness of God."

What are you saying? This is my identity. I'm enveloped and I'm not coming out. >> Bad day, bad decision, but that doesn't make me. >> It'll change you. You will change. Anybody know what I'm talking about? You got born again. You got this grace message going on inside.

Good for it's good for your heart to be filled with grace. And you look up one day and you're like, whoa, what is I am being transformed. >> Amen. I'm being transformed >> from the inside out. Religion wants you to transform from the outside in. >> Religion and the flesh says, "Do this and then it'll after you do it, it'll condemn you the whole time for doing that."

The whole attack is against your identity. He wants you to question who you are. He wants you to question, you know, what what Jesus says concerning who you are. He wants you to question, "Oh, I must not be righteous cuz I just did that unrighteous act." And and most people hear me preach this.

They say, "Well, Brother Dollar is is uh justifying sin." Ain't nobody justifying sin. How you going to justify sin when you're talking about grace, and grace is what removes you removes sin out of your life. >> Grace is not a license to sin. Grace is what removes sin out of your life.

But you don't remove sin out of your life by managing bad behavior or behavioral modification. Let may let let me modify my behavior. It's still going to be there. You well, I'm going to I'm going to do everything I know to do. I'M I'M GONNA GET IT OUT.

I'M GONNA GET IT OUT. YEAH, THAT AIN'T SUSTAINABLE. And then the harder you try to live by the law, you're going to end up being defeated by the law. I am who God says I am. Now, watch this. This is so good. So, he attacks Jesus first place identity.

And I know that's that's weird for you to hear what I just said and you've been on a religion the whole time. It's weird to hear that. But then I challenge you to start reading the Bible. It's not matching. And you see contradictions from the new covenant over to contradictions to the old covenant.

And now you're going to just go back to saying what you've always knew to say because you don't understand what's going on here because it's not rightly dividing the word of truth. >> I'm telling you what I know, ladies and gentlemen. He will transform you from the inside out.

God will take away your old wanttos and give you new wantto's and you're going to want to do what pleases him >> instead of doing what pleases you. But you won't you act like you don't trust God. You you still won't hold on to your identity. It's the thing you have to have or Satan gets victory over your life every day because you allow you try to get your behavior to tell you who you are instead of understanding that it's your identity that'll deal with your behavior.

But religion says no your behavior tells you about your identity. No, if if you identity goes first and then behavior will follow it. Not not behavior going for first. It's like uh uh the buggy pulling the horse. It's not behavior going first and then your identity follows because that's what happens.

We start looking at our behavior. Oh, I did something bad. And and guess what you're going to end up saying by the end of the day? I'm a bad person. >> It starts dictating to you your behavior based on your your identity based on your behavior. And God's like, that ain't how this work.

Receive by faith who I said you are. And watch your behavior change. A lot of stuff you doing now, you ain't going to want to do it no more. And it ain't because you had such an amazing five-step program. It's just the Holy Ghost was working in you, changing your desire, giving you the power to do what pleases God. >> All right.

Now, now, now look at this. This supposed to be my introduction. And I done I got a whole message to preach. I'm trying to finish this teaching today so I can preach an Easter message next week. Amen. >> Heroes. >> I mean, it's Palm Sunday. I put a tie on for Palm Sunday and everything.

And when the tempter came to him, he said, "Watch this. Watch what the devil does." Cuz if he did if he if he did it with Jesus, >> he going to do it with every one of us. >> Amen. >> If thou be the son of God trying to plant doubt in his head concerning his identity. >> Now guess what?

You and I are sons of God. Say out loud, I'm a son of God. >> I'm a son of God. >> I'm born of God. >> I'm born of God. >> I'm complete in God. >> I'm completing God. >> I'm the branch. >> I'm the branch. >> He's the vine.

I have union with God. >> He wants to say if you're born of God >> and if you have union with God >> and if you are the righteousness of God just a little that's what he does through the power of suggestion since he's a defeated foe. He can't do what he used to do before you got delivered from that old man.

So he's just got to throw some suggestions. If thou be who do you think he dealing with? See here's the deal. He's acting like he don't know that's God. >> He acting like he don't know this is God, his creator, >> right? >> And if you keep reading this, he tell him at the end, I'm your God.

You know this. >> That's right. >> DON'T GET IT TWISTED. >> DON'T LET THIS flesh get you hurt. DON'T LET THIS BODY MAKE YOU THINK I CAN'T DO WHAT I DO. >> If thou be the son of God identity. Now watch this. Command that these stones be made bread.

All right. Before I deal with that, I want you to see this. If you be the son of God, prove it by doing something. Yeah. >> If you're the son of God, prove it by doing something. You say, "I'm the righteousness of God." All right. If you're the righteousness of God, then prove it by doing something or don't do something.

So, if you really was the righteousness of God, what about what you've been doing? And he can really show you, I'm not the son of God because of what I do or what I don't do. He says, "If you're the son of God, command these stones to be made bread."

HE'S LIKE, "WHAT? I I I'M THE SON OF GOD. I don't need to do something to be the son of God. DID YOU HEAR WHAT HE JUST SAID? THOU art my beloved son in whom I'm well pleased. And now Satan comes up and says, I doubt I'm trying to get you to doubt what he said.

If you really the son of God, do something. And that's where religion COME IN AT. NOW YOU KEEP THINKING YOU GOT TO DO SOMETHING TO be who God says you are. YOU STILL THINKING I GOT TO DO SOMETHING TO BE WHAT HE SAID YOU ARE >> OR I GOT TO DO SOMETHING TO HAVE WHAT HE SAID I GAVE YOU. >> That's religion wrapped UP IN A NICE LITTLE BOW.

DO SOMETHING. >> Whenever I'm teaching this, I always hear hear people say, "Yeah, but you got to do something." >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He told you what to do. Believe. Amen. >> Amen. >> And your belief and the Holy Spirit will begin to take you down a path and the good works will be born out of you and following the instructions.

All that stuff happens. But religion has so got our mind. And that's why people Sunday mornings they get up and they think I'm going to go TO WORLD CHANGES. AH, I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THAT STUFF HE PREACHING. But see, that's why I'm going to keep preaching it. I still got a big microphone.

So, I'm going to keep preaching it until it it it does something in your head and you you going to have a day that your doing ain't going to satisfy nothing. You going to have a day where you done did and did and did. I know some people who challenge me and say, "Well, I'm going to live by the law."

Guess what? They quit. I ain't doing this no more. This is about to drive me crazy because you keep trying to do what Jesus has already done. And and there's the contradiction. >> Amen. If you are the son of God, if you do have this identity, prove it. >> Now, why would Jesus need to prove what God had already established to the devil? >> Jesus like, I can turn the stone into bread.

I got several ways I can turn the stone into bread. I've turned water into wine. Come on. >> Huh? >> I've turned mud into a healing bomb for blinded eyes. Ain't no problem for me to do it. >> But I'm not going to do it for that. >> Cuz God has already said I'm his beloved son. >> And if you got a problem with it, that's you.

But I'm going to hold on to my identity cuz it's the only thing I got. I know I got to go to a cross. It's the only thing I got. I know I got to enter into hell. It's the only thing I got. I know I've got to take on the sins of the world.

It's the only thing I GOT. SO WHILE I'M DOING ALL OF THAT, I GOT TO REMIND MYSELF OF WHO I AM. I'M THE VINE. YOU THE BRANCH. I don't need to prove my identity to you by doing something. >> I receive and I believe and I trust and I stand and I declare my my trust and my dependence on God and he will do all the doing. >> Amen.

Hallelujah. >> Then in verse six, notice he comes at him again. It wasn't enough. The constant attack was on his identity in Matthew chapter 6, uh, Matthew 6, and saith unto him, "If thou be the son of God, cast yourself down. For it is written, if thou be THE SON OF GOD," YOU GOT TO DO SOMETHING.

He shall give his angels. Now he trying to quote THE SCRIPTURE. HE SHALL GIVE HIS angels charge concerning thee, and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest any time thou dst thy foot against the stone. He says, God's already commanded the angels to watch over me.

Bro, I you know, YOU YOU YOU ARE ARCHANGEL. We made you. You don't you understand? I don't need to cast myself off no CLIFF BECAUSE, YOU KNOW, I CAN FLY OVER THE CLIFF IF I NEED TO. >> But I'm not gonna do something >> to prove who God says I am. >> Well, I got about six people that got it.

I got to keep I got to go to work. I got to go to work here. I'm just trying to convince you that's who you are. You keep remembering you keep remembering what you have done and I'm trying to get you to remember who you are. >> But you your your your memory of what you've done is blocking out your your your memory of who you are.

OR OR MAYBE NOBODY'S EVER PREACHED TO YOU WHO YOU ARE. YEAH, WE'VE HEARD sermons about who you are IN CHRIST, BUT NOT LIKE THIS ONE. I'M TELLING YOU, WHEN YOU WHEN YOU WAKE up tomorrow, this is who you are. You're not trying to become this every day. YOU WAKE UP EVERY DAY LIKE THIS.

YOU You wake up every day the son of God. You wake up every day righteous. You wake up every day redeemed. You wake up every day delivered. You wake up every day forgiven. You wake up every DAY HEALED. YOU WAKE UP EVERY DAY IN UNION WITH GOD. YOU WAKE UP EVERY DAY.

YOU GET OUT YOUR BED EVERY DAY, SON OF GOD. THIS IS WHO I AM. AND WHEN THE DEVIL SHOWS UP IN YOUR WILDERNESS, you just say, "Uh, I don't know if you got the memo, but that's not me." >> He shows you something from your past and you say, "Uh, that that's that's not me no more.

That I don't I don't do that. That's not me." >> You remember Paul said that when Paul had his conversion, Paul said, "I have wronged no man. >> I've defrauded no man. He had. And I'm telling you, why am I preaching this? I I left my sermon for today because the most important thing in the life of a Christian in order to receive transformation is what I'm teaching you now. >> Confidence in your identity. >> That's right.

Amen. Amen. >> And it's going to happen for some of you. IT'S HAPPENING RIGHT NOW WHILE I'M PREACHING. For some of you, it'll happen when you go GET IN YOUR CAR. THERE'S GOING TO BE SOME REMINDER of something you did >> and you got to respond. >> That's not me no more. >> I'm the righteousness of God.

Didn't you know that? >> I'm healed. I'm delivered. I'm sound. Don't you know who I am? >> Don't you Don't you know who I am? And I know you know who I am, devil, because you you leaked it out when those sorcerers were trying to do things in the name of Jesus. >> Yeah.

For pay. And the demons when they heard the sorcerers who had no spirit say out loud, "We cast you out in the name of the Paul." And the demons stopped and said, "Okay, hold on a minute. Paul, watch this. We know Jesus, >> we know. Now, I want you to look at this a little differently. >> Watch this.

But, uh, who are you? >> And they did not know who they were. They were trying to go in the identity of Paul's knowledge of who he was and Jesus's knowledge of who he was, but they had not yet come to the place of knowing who they were. >> Hallelujah. >> So what you going to do when a demon speak through somebody >> and say, "Do you know who you are?" >> You better know who you are. >> You better know who you are. >> Cuz these demons getting kind of bold.

They just manifest theirelves all over the place. And then most believers don't even know what to do. >> You better know who you are. >> I ain't got no demon. >> A demon is subject to the name of Jesus. >> And if Jesus dealt with demons, I'm in the envelope.

You better know we getting ready to deal with them. >> Paul, I know. JESUS, I KNOW. JOANNE, I KNOW. KENNETH, I KNOW. AND YOU PUT YOUR NAME IN THAT SLOT, TOO. OH, YOU KNOW ME, DEVIL. YOU KNOW ME. YOU BETTER WATCH OUT. YOU BETTER GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY CHILDREN.

GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY FINANCES. GET YOUR HANDS OFF MY LIFE. YOU BETTER GET YOU BETTER GET IT GOING. HEY, GLORY. YOU BETTER GET IT GOING. I KNOW WHO I AM. AND SATAN HAS A A A LOG OF everybody who knows who they are. >> Oh yes. >> I know who I am. >> Something squeaking in your house and something moving around in your house and you running out.

You let a devil put you out of your house. If you knew who you were, you would be putting him out of your house. You had Don't you let no devil put you push you out of your house. >> And young people getting the whole whole thing wrong.

You don't need no crystal. You don't need no sage smoke. And leave your ancestors alone because THEM THOSE ARE NOT YOUR ANCESTORS. Those are demons trying to mess with you. You better watch OUT ALL THIS STUFF YOU DOING trying to get your ancestors involved. You going to get the ancestors of beub.

You going to get the ancestors OF DEMONS INVOLVED. YOU DON'T NEED ALL OF THAT. I DON'T NEED NO SMOKE, NO SAGE, no crystal. I don't need NO DEAD ANIMAL. I DON'T NEED NONE OF THAT STUFF. JESUS IS ENOUGH. AND I AM IN HIM. I AM IN CHRIST. >> I'M ENVELOPED IN HIM, SEALED WITH THE HOLY GHOST. >> DO YOU UNDERSTAND?

YOU HAVE TO KNOW. YOU HAVE TO KNOW who you are when when you lose your job and you're trying to figure out how the money come in. No, no, no, no. You don't know who I am. You don't know who I am. >> Devil, you think you GOT ME SCARED?

I AIN'T SCARED. I ain't scared. Fear is the number one motivator for human behavior. >> And I'm not motivated by fear. >> I'm motivated by the finished works of Jesus. >> See, we going to become a peculiar people under this grace. >> But you got to be delivered from what folks think.

People love talking spiritual around folks and then let the devil show up. N joke could be the first one out the door. Come on. Amen. They love talking that just they get around. Well, the Lord, you know, want to want to want to talk about the scriptures they know and how long they've been in church and and I've been going to this church for 12 years and you still ain't got no character >> and you're still immature and you still get upset when somebody don't give you what you think they should give you.

And you're still going through all those immature boooo in the pamper type of things because you ain't gred up yet because you don't know who you are. >> Can't keep talking about how many years you done come to the church and and talk about all the revelation you got and you still I can't I can't see that you ought to LISTEN I YOU STAY IN THE ENVELOPE A LITTLE LONGER.

Stay in the envelope a little longer. Stay stay in the envelope. Just just going to stay in the envelope. Just stay in the envelope. Just stay in the envelope. >> Somebody start acting crazy. You asking, "You ain't in the envelope, is you? You done broke the seal, ain't you?

You ain't in that envelope no more. Jesus. Thank you, God, that God put me in him >> to share >> with his accomplishments." >> Hallelujah. >> That's what it means to be in Christ. I share >> in the accomplishments. >> Yes. of my savior. >> Oh my gode condemned.

That's not who I am. >> Hallelujah. >> Condemnation comes. Say, "Ah, that ain't me. That ain't me no more." Then you get depressed and lonely. Ah, that ain't me no more. >> Yeah. Then you start feeling shame because you ain't got nothing to do. So you start going back 20 years.

You ain't got to been back no 20 years. You don't leave 20 years alone. Don't be going back no 20 years. >> Say, "That ain't me no more." >> Hallelujah. >> Come on, try it. Say, "That ain't me no more." >> That ain't me no more. >> I'm in Christ. >> I'm in Christ. >> Put there by God. >> put there by God. >> Sealed by the Holy Ghost. >> Sealed by the Holy Ghost.

Amen. >> Y'all on the bus? >> So if you're on the bus, you have to understand how vital this piece is. >> Everything about this grace life flows from your identity. >> Everything it flows from your identity. It flows from your identity. And there just too many Christians that know scripture but don't know their identity that shout and scream and you know I don't know.

I just I mean I do know cuz I'm in the envelope so I' I got the wisdom of God. >> But I think I was trying to express a bit of frustration because I'm like I don't understand why this is so complicated. But I do understand why it's so complicated because think about what this does to the kingdom of darkness.

If you get up every morning knowing who you are, what are you going to do? Turn the stone into bread. ain't. If you really are GOD, GOD, GO DOWN THE STREET, turn left, and see what God wants you to do. Well, God ain't told me to do this.

I ain't. And just say, listen, I don't I don't have to do anything to prove. If there's anything that comes up in your spirit that says you need to qualify your identity, >> that doesn't come from God. >> I need to qualify my identity. if you really are.

I remember this when I I I hadn't been saved that long and I had a preacher friend of mine. We I used to go over his house. I was in high school. We'd go over there and uh great man of God. And we'd sit around the table and just talk and laugh and have a good time.

He was a preacher, had two churches he was preaching in. And uh he said, "You you want to see if you really got faith?" I said, "Yeah." Well, I ain't know nothing. Yeah. He said, 'Well, there's this church. They bring these snakes in, and if you really got faith, you go in that church and pick up a couple of snakes.

I said, "Well, I ain't got faith." I said, "I don't I don't believe I got faith, Re." And I asked, "Well, have you gone?" He said, "No." I said, "It don't look like you got too much either. You don't respond to the anointing in you out of pressure. >> You respond out of peace. >> I don't need to get up here and come up with something to create an atmosphere of anointing so you can see how anointed you are.

Because the same anointing in me is in you. We flow with that anointing with peace and ease. You you tell you you do something you do it. I've gotten in a habit of love making people's day. How can I bless them when I see a a person in the service industry working hard and you can just see it on their face like they need a break.

And while I don't know you, I might have something that I can put in your life to make you smile or even cry tears to say I know God good. Cuz while you crying, I'm going to be trying to get me some preaching in right quick. Ain't he good?

OH YES, HE REAL GOOD. IF YOU LIFT your hands up and praise him then. So, we're talking about what does it mean to be in Christ? And with 19 minutes left, I'm going to start preaching this sermon. If you'll go with me to 1 Corinthians chapter 15 verse 22. 1 Corinthians 15:22.

Hallelujah. >> Some of you feel stirred up. You're going to walk out of here knowing you're enveloped. You're in Christ. Not based on what you do, but based on what he's done. >> 1 Corinthians 15:22, for as in Adam all die. Even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

So here Adam represents the old humanity. And in old humanity, it's characterized by death. It's characterized by sin consciousness. It's characterized by that separation thinking that, you know, God's up here somewhere and you're right here. You don't see union. That's what it characterized where Adam is concerned. But in Christ, it represents the new humanity.

That means you're restored to God. You're reconciled back to God. And so Paul in in first Corinthians here Paul is is not merely describing individuals but he's talking about two corporate identities for human race. In other words, take the whole human race and you fit in one or two of these categories.

You are either of Adam dealing with death and sin consciousness and separation from God or you are of Christ being restored and being reconciled. And let me show you what this means here. Let's go to uh Romans 6 verse 16-1 17. Now you you you got to understand who you are and who you are in.

You're either in Adam or you're in Christ. Who you are is going to be based on what you give your attention to. What you hearken to. What you listen to is going to determine who you are in Adam or in Christ. Now, Romans 6:16-17 says, "Know you not that to whom you yield?"

You see, when you got born again, you got delivered from the old man, the sin man, and you now have the freedom to be a free moral agent and make a choice and determine if you're going to yield to something or not yield to something. So it was not only to deliver you from the bondage of and the dominion of sin that came from the old man.

The dominion of sin that you know he just dominated you in your sinful behavior. Jesus paid a ransom so you can be delivered from that domination. And so sin shall not dominate you because you're not under the law but you're under grace. Sin has dominion over you. The sin man dominates your life where sin is concerned.

But when Jesus came, you're delivered from that old man. You have a new creation under the grace of God. So he says, "Know ye not that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey." Very interesting word here. Whoever you yield yourselves servants to obey. That word obey, man, this is big.

I got to teach on the difference between obedience in the old covenant and obedience in the new covenant. They're not the same. Obedience in the old covenant is simply I've got to perform and strive in order to try to keep the law. We bought that same obedience over into the new covenant, but it's different.

Obedience in the new covenant is obedience to the faith. In other words, my obedience to the faith is me believing and accepting what is already done. and I'm going to align myself with what's already done. That's obedience in the new covenant. Obedience in the old covenant is I am going to align myself with the performance and the striving of the old covenant.

If you if you do good, then you'll get good. I got to do that. That is not the same obedience in the new covenant. I don't know if that's been I never heard it taught. I'm going to teach it. I'm I'm taught it to the grace life one day last week, but I'm going to teach this cuz that's the problem.

Everybody trying, not everybody. That's not fair. Uh, a lot of people are are they keep telling you, "Yeah, but you got to be obedient." Their obedience is is obedience talking about lining up with the striving and the performance of doing the law so you can get something. That's not the same obedience that he's talking about in Romans 1:5.

And in Romans chapter 16 25, he mentions this phrase, obedience to the faith. What is obedience to the faith? It's right believing. >> Obedience to the faith is trusting in what Jesus has already finished. So to be obedient in the new covenant means he has made me righteous.

Oh, I am going to now believe and line up with what he's already made me. That's new covenant obedience. Okay. New covenant obedience has been really covered up by old covenant obedience. I got to do something in order to get something. I got to perform in order to do it.

That's not listed in this new covenant. Why? Because Jesus has done it all. >> So in order to be obedient in the new covenant, you have to now align your trust and your belief with what's finished. >> Amen. So that's obedience in the new covenant. But you you know just like I know WHAT I JUST EXPLAINED to you.

You like and it's there. You go read IT YOURSELF. GO LOOK AT IT. >> I AIN'T MAKING THIS stuff up. You know one of the ways to define grace almost too good news. It's almost too good news to believe. >> It's almost too good to believe. >> Obedience to the faith.

Notice obedience to faith in what's finished. >> Amen. >> So the guy that says, "I ain't righteous." He's being disobedient to the faith. >> Or the guy that says, "No, I'm not in Christ." He's being disobedient to the faith. >> Or the guy that says, "Oh, it's not finished."

He's being disobedient to the faith. >> Amen. >> You got to rightly divide the word of truth. This past week, I finished 137 pages of a book I'm working on on how to rightly divide the truth. I got 200 more pages to go, but I'm determined I got to finish it because I ain't I can't, you know, I can teach this thing 20 times and 20 different people will hear it.

But if I put it in a book, I can say, "Go get the book." >> Yeah. Now what he is saying here, know you not that to whom you yield. You're going to make a decision to go to be in Adam or in Christ. Whoever you yield yourself servants to.

Now this word obey doesn't mean obey like in the Old Testament. You got to do something. This particular word obey is it it's translated from its original meaning. It means this to hearken. to give attention to and watch this and to listen to. So what he's saying is to whom you yield yourself servants to hearken, listen to, pay attention to his servants.

You are to whom you hearken, listen to, or pay attention to. Whether you pay attention to, hearken, or listen to sin under death, GO THERE AND LISTEN TO THAT ALL DAY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE LIKE GRANDMA AND THEM DID. YOU KEEP IT GOING. But you're going to yield to listen, obey, and give your attention, giving your attention to sin UNDER DEATH.

OR ARE YOU going to listen or obey to give your attention to obedience under righteousness? >> Yeah. >> Next verse. CUZ HE'S SAYING IT'S ALL UP TO YOU. BUT GOD BE THANK YOU WERE THE servants of sin, but ye HAVE OBEYED FROM THE heart that form OF DOCTRINE WHICH WAS DELIVERED unto you.

You you you listened, you hearkened and you paid ATTENTION TO THE FORM OF DOCTRINE THAT WAS TAUGHT YOU THAT WAS delivered unto you. I AM TEACHING YOU this doctrine or doctrine means teachings. I'm I'm I'm I'm talking to you about the teachings of the grace of God in Christ.

BUT IF YOU CHOOSE TO LISTEN to the doctrine of of sin and death and separation in Adam, he says, "You decide what you going to yield to, >> and that's what you're going to be." And that's why I said it is good for your heart to be filled with grace.

Now look at this in the uh in the message translation. Let's go go to the message verse um yeah 15-18. Listen to this. So since we are out from under the old tyranny, does that mean we can live any old way we want? Answer that. No, >> no, >> no. >> Since we're free in the freedom of God, can we do anything that comes to mind? >> Hardly.

YOU KNOW WELL ENOUGH FROM YOUR OWN experience that there are some acts of so-called freedom that DESTROY FREEDOM. SOME ACTS OF SO-CALLED FREEDOM THAT DESTROY FREEDOM THAT DOESN'T HAVE BOUNDARIES, it's not going to be freedom at all. >> You can't be free to hurt somebody. You can't be free to abuse somebody.

You can't be free to exploit somebody. >> You can't be free, you know, you going around talking about is it legal to smoke weed? WELL, WHY WHY you need to be concerned about that? I is illegal to smoke weed. Well, smoking weed still going to mess with stuff.

That's right. >> And then you're going to be addicted to it. So, YOU WENT FROM FREEDOM TO SMOKE WEED to now enslaved. >> WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO USE your freedom to be enslaved from your freedom? >> Does Does it make sense? Yeah. >> I mean, come on, MAN. >> WELL, I'M AND THAT'S WHY PEOPLE ASK, WELL, IS grace a LICENSE TO SIN?

WELL, YOU KNOW, I'M I'M FREE. I'M GRACE HAS GIVEN ME FREEDOM SO I CAN JUST GO AND HAVE SEX WITH ANYBODY I WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH. And and and then and BECAUSE THERE ARE NO BOUNDARIES IN FREEDOM, FREEDOM THAT DOESN'T HAVE BOUNDARIES is going to end to slavery.

Going to end up in slavery. >> WELL, I GOT FREEDOM TO SPEECH. WELL, NOT TO SAY THINGS that hurt people. >> Not to lie. >> You follow WHAT I'M SAYING? YOU HAVE FREEDOM, BUT FREEDOM shouldn't leave to enslavement >> or bondage or hurt or disrespect. You having the freedom to speak don't mean you need to be coming up to me and cussing me out and call me out my name just because you got the freedom of speech. >> The freedom of speech needs some boundaries with it.

Amen. >> Come on, sir. >> Can't say nothing. It sounds like you're trying to do politics. I ain't trying to do politics. This just just common sense. >> Well, I can smoke cigarettes. YEAH, YOU CAN SMOKE CIGARETTES IF YOU WANT TO. THE BIBLE SAYS YOU DO WHATEVER YOU WANT TO.

BUT IF THAT FREEDOM TO SMOKE CIGARETTES LEADS YOU TO LUNG CANCER, >> FREEDOM WITH NO BOUNDARIES, WELL, PRAY THE LORD GOD GIVE ME SOME FREEDOM. I'm going to EAT DESSERTS THREE TIMES A DAY. YOU CAN. And you going to be in bondage to something, fatty. You're going to be in bondage.

Now, I I repent. I shouldn't have said that. I shouldn't have said that. Sweet lips increase learning. I ain't got no business calling nobody fatty. >> But beyond fatty, the sugar is highly inflammatory. >> And inflammation is the foundation for every chronic disease that you can get in your body.

So go on and eat sugar all the time until eventually you come up with some chronic disease and now you're trying to figure out well how oh LORD WHAT HAPPENED? WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT HAPPENED? You were free to choose because when Jesus set you free, he he made you a free moral agent and you FREE TO CHOOSE WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CHOOSE.

YOU YOU FREE IF YOU WANT TO GO AND JUMP OFF A BUILDING talking about I want to go see Jesus. Well, you can die and then he'll say YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE RIGHT NOW. MY GOOD AND unfaithful servant job incomplete. I got home yesterday and I was just hungry for everything.

And I every time Taffy come in the room, I talk about something I want to eat. She said, "Listen, stop. Every time you keep talking to me about what you going to eat." I said, "Well, I done ate most of it." I said I said I'm trying to see if I can get permission from you to go to Mallisters and get me a a uh what are them sandwiches with the ham and stuff on a ham in 20 years.

I'm I club sandwich. So since I'm at it, I might as well go get me a club sandwich and some chips and some bow cookies or something. I need to She said now stop. I'm like, it's it's uh 6 hours LEFT IN THE DAY. WHAT DO YOU MEAN STOP?

And my last meal was I like to eat cereal with milk. It's it's you know, I just fix a bunch of put some bananas on it and some some grain stuff and and some pecans and some some uh blueberries on there. Get a big old bowl and and some almond milk with no sugar in it. there and go down there and and eat it up.

And then after I finish eating, same thing happens. Why you do that? We up here talking about you going to get a six-pack. You got that same one that been that's been haunting you the whole time. Well, you made the decision cause your freedom >> and God graced me.

Praise the Lord. got up and hadn't gained a pound. >> Amen. >> Make me want to go home and do it all over again since I didn't gain nothing. You You got to just think better, guys. We want to make everything spiritual except how we take care of ourselves. >> You don't exercise.

You don't have no movement. You wonder why your joints hurting. Joints hate >> immobility. >> You got to do something. Move. wiggle. Get you a rebound machine and just jump on it. >> You ain't even got to come off the ground. Just just keep just >> and it'll clean your lymphatic system out and >> oxygen and go through all your blood and all that kind of stuff.

But you know, black people don't know nothing about that. No jumping on no rebound. What's a rebound? Rebound back in the kitchen where the honey BUN IS. WE WORRY about it. I got two minutes left. Let me let me go on. Hardly you know well enough from your own experience that there are some acts of so-called freedom that destroy freedom.

Offer yourselves to sin for instance and it's your last free act. BUT OFFER YOURSELVES TO THE ways of God, and the freedom never quits. >> ALL YOUR LIVES, YOU'VE LET SIN TELL YOU WHAT TO DO. BUT THANK GOD, YOU'VE STARTED LISTENING TO A NEW MASTER, ONE WHOSE COMMANDS SET YOU FREE TO LIVE OPENLY IN HIS FREEDOM.

And that's the freedom of the grace of God. Now, Last one. Uh, Romans 6 7 uh 6:16 and 17 in the mirror. Now watch this. As much as you once gave permission to sin to trap you. That's interesting. You gave permission to sin to trap you in its spiral of spiritual death and enslave you to the dictates.

The obedience that faith ignites. Now, now compared to that, it introduces a new new rules and rightness with God. To this we willingly yield ourselves. To this I yield myself. Verse 17. The content of teaching that your heart embraces has set a new standard to become the pattern of your life. the content of teaching that you embrace. >> Either you're embracing the teaching of sin under death which is in Adam or you're embracing the teaching of righteousness and grace which is in Jesus.

The content of teaching that listen to me THE CONTENT OF TEACHING YOU YOU'RE NOT JUST COMING TO CHURCH. LET ME GO TO CHURCH BECAUSE I NEED the Lord to do something for me especially this week and next week I'm going to see people I ain't seen in a whole year.

Now, I'm not condemning them. I try to catch them every year they come. But >> it's the content of teaching. YOU DON'T COME HERE TO FEEL SOMETHING OR to have good time. You come here so you CAN BE BUILT UP UH SO YOU CAN GET THE CONTENT OF TEACHING.

YOU DON'T REALLY WORSHIP GOD HERE. You worship God when you leave. When you come and get built up and then you leave to worship him. To worship God means, "Oh Lord, what would what do you want to do through me today? How do you want to use me today?"

That's worship. Thank God for worship songs and music. But worship goes way beyond singing. >> You come here to get edified, built up. So you go out there to worship God in your everyday living. Don't think you're awesome because you go home and spend all week in your prayer closet.

Get out the closet AND GET OUT THERE WHERE ALL THE sin is and all the people are and all the people that need you. There's there's a there's somebody we need where you you what you doing FOR THE LORD? YOU STUCK SOMEWHERE. SOMEBODY I DON'T TOUCH NOT THE UNCLEAN.

YOU UNCLEAN. DOESN'T JESUS TOUCH YOU? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? GET OUT THERE SO YOU CAN BEGIN to allow the Holy Ghost to to work through you. You He will GIVE YOU THE SUPPLY FOR SOMEBODY YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW. >> It may be a word. It might be a hug.

There may be some money. THERE MAY BE OPPORTUNITY. BUT YOU YOU YOU CAN'T MATURE AT HOME BY YOURSELF IN YOUR COCOON. >> That's good. >> Well, I you know, I just don't like getting out there cuz them people get on my nerves. Good. Getting on your nerve can mature you so you can know how to minister to people who get on your nerve.

And then you going to find out it wasn't them that was getting on your nerve. It was you on your nerves. Man, we need to grow up. >> We need to grow up. >> Well, I don't think I'mma go to that church no more cuz I don't like how the usher looked at me.

You baby, you look you infant child? When will thou grow up? Because what's going to happen is when they offended you, then you go to another church and then they going to offend you or something they're going to offend you. You do you. The issue is not the churches and the people.

The issue is you ain't go you not growing up, >> baby. You ain't growing up. Why? Why? And what you're saying is why? WHY? WHY? WHY? GROW UP. >> Grow up. >> Grow up. BUT I don't know if I like I don't know if I like what Pastor Taffy had on.

All right. Now, now you getting to a place where you don't need to be >> cuz I like it. Ain't nobody ask you. Grow up. Nobody ask you to be the the Holy Ghost police. Police yourself. >> Get you a Holy Ghost security system of yourself and grow up >> because every time you do stuff like that, you're identifying areas of your immaturity.

Yes. >> Still envious, still jealous, >> still, you know, um, what do you call it when you're gossiping, still backbiting, still got a bad attitude, still want to tell, still want to cover your insecurity up by trying to be superior over somebody. So, you go to a restaurant and you know you don't like what they did.

I want to see your manager. This girl pipe down just messing everybody day up. >> You're different. You're a follower of Christ, man. >> That's it. >> Grace people are gracious people. You're a follower of Christ. Them church folks. And that's that's the kind of thing you got out from church folk going around looking deep cuz they've seen you.

Your children have seen you act a fool at home and then they watch the same person in church acting like they ain't never did nothing. And you wondering why they don't want to be saved. cuz they looking at you like I don't want to be like her. >> This is the supply that I have for you today. >> This is the supply. >> Somebody said that ain't for me.

WELL, PRAISE GOD IT AIN'T FOR YOU. PRAY intercede with us. The content of teaching that your heart embraced has set a new standard to become the PATTERN OF YOUR LIFE. THE GRACE of God ended sin's dominance. >> But I don't want to hear that. I don't want to hear that.

I GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT GRACE TEACHING. How you going to have a problem with something you don't even know? You ain't got enough information to have a problem. >> But I'm going to keep teaching it. Well, I go somewhere else. Bye. >> I'm not going to stop teaching this, guys. >> I'm not going to stop teaching it.

Now, you're not going to hear of grace every time I teach something cuz I got to teach on things like like uh marriage. We're going to have a big relationship thing coming up cuz we got to deal with some relationships cuz y'all don't know how to live together.

Y'all don't know how to live together. It's It's amazing to me how much law comes from grace people in marriage. >> That's right. Oh my gosh. >> So, we got to talk about relationships. And we got to talk about all kinds of relationships. We got to teach people that a spiritual father is not your natural daddy.

So, quit expecting from a spiritual father who's supposed to father you in your faith. Quit trying to make him your natural daddy. He ain't never going to be your natural daddy. >> But he can father you in the faith. See, we we do stuff like that. So what happens is you you you expect something you don't have no right to expect.

And then when you don't get it, you get disappointed. And then I don't see you at church no more because you expected something you weren't supposed to expect. And now you done booked up because you are disappointed because you expected something that you have no right to expect.

Good. >> All of that is a part of maturity. But anyway, I ain't got no more time. I'm done. Was you on the bus in any or all of that? I got to I got to go. Praise the Lord. I got to go. Cuz some of y'all from College Park, I don't want y'all START THROWING STUFF.

SHUT UP. You know, if you're not born again today, if you want to get saved after I dismiss, you can come to the altar. some pastors and preachers will meet you here and show you how to give your life to Jesus. Um, so I guess we'll continue this.

Um, yeah, we'll continue it. Some somebody says, "Good. I ain't coming." Well, fine. You know, I can't want it more than you. >> I can't I can't want it more than you. I I I want to give it to you. I want to I want to spend time with God.

I want to I want to get this stuff together so it can help you mature and help you to understand some stuff so you can be free. But you got to decide what you going to do. Man, I love you. >> I sure love you. >> But some of y'all some y'all amazing people.

I look at you in public. I ain't seen your church in a while. What happened? Lying. Well, the Lord leading me to go to this church. You Lord, you ain't heard from God in 10 years and you talking about where the Lord leading you. Stop. I tell you what we need to teach on.

We need to we need to do a series online. >> Rise, ladies and gentlemen. I love y'all. Come on, stand up. While my lips still sweet, stand up. Thank y'all so much for coming today. Next week we will have our Easter celebration here and we are going to celebrate.

You go to church with me. $20. Give me 50 and you got a deal. Lift your hands up. Father, I declare the blessings over these precious saints. I declare, Lord, that doors open this week that no man will ever be able to close. I declare, Holy Spirit, that you will continue to teach and to train each individual.

I thank you, Lord, that we are maturing, that we are growing up. I thank you, Lord, that this week we will celebrate your accomplishments and we will share in everything that you've accomplished. I speak favor. I speak open doors. I speak manifested anointings right now. I speak restoration right now in the lives of these people.

And now, oh yeah, I'll do that. Every plan of the enemy to try to destroy lives and to take people out before their time, I bind your plans right now over their lives. And I plead THE BLOOD OF JESUS over their lives. They will live AND NOT DIE.

AND I'LL SEE THEM NEXT WEEK. And >> now unto him who is able to keep us from falling and to present us faultless before the Almighty God be glory, majesty, dominion, and power both now and forever. And everybody said, >> y'all have a great day today. I love you. >> Amen. >> Amen.
