Uh you would be surprised the number of people that are watch that are with us today that they fly on airplanes, they're they're walking, they're working out, they're jogging. Hey, however you got to do it, man. Get that word. It's it's like it's like a a supplement. It's it's nourishment for the day.
And the greatest thing you can do is to make sure you I like what the scripture says. It is good for your heart to be filled with grace. And um one of the translations says feast on grace. That's awesome. Feast on grace. So that's what we endeavor to do at the grace game here.
And um all is well. So um uh we're not making these confessions so that we can change God. God's already established and and in and everything that has been finished for us, but we are putting ourselves in remembrance of what has already done and our relationship that we have with the father.
Say this out loud with me. I will dwell in the shelter of the most high God. I find rest in the shadow of the almighty. God is my refuge and my fortress. You are my God in whom I trust and with great confidence in whom I will rely.
God will rescue me from every trap and protect me from every disease. I am covered and protected by his outstretch arms. God's faithful promises are my armor and my protection. I will not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor of the arrows that fly in the day.
I will not dread any disease that stalks in the darkness, nor any disaster that strikes at midday. Because God is my refuge and the Almighty God of my home, no evil can befall me and no plague can come near my dwelling. God has ordered his angels to guard, defend, and protect me in my house.
God's armies of heaven will keep me from falling. I will walk unharmed and kick anything that is evil from my path. Because of God's love for me, I will call upon him. He will set me above all my troubles. He will deliver me from all my fears. And he will honor me with his presence and power.
He will reward me with long life and he will show me his salvation. I am forgiven. I am the righteousness of God. I am one with him. I am complete in him. I am anointed in Jesus name. I receive my identity and I awake to my identity in Jesus name today.
I live from whom I who I am. I am in Christ. God has placed me in Christ. I live by the faith of the son of God. And I declare that all is well with me in my house in Jesus name. I am Psalms 91 equip. And everybody said it.
Amen. Amen and amen. All right, man. Um, let's hop into this. This is going to be amazing. Yesterday, we started off dealing with some questions. uh you know how to be anointed with signs and wonders following you. We talked about um is it necessary to fast and spend more time with God to increase the anointing and why do people appear to be more anointed than others with hungry crowds seeking them out?
And so we started off yesterday just a brief re uh re uh uh review. Uh when uh when you talk about the anointing, we have to speak about it from the perspective of the new covenant. And one of the things that we know if we discern this properly is that the anointing is not something uh you earn more of.
It's something you've you've you've already received. Not it's not something you earn more of. It's something you've already received. And so we begin to look at defining the anointing. Uh and under the new covenant, we define the anointing. Uh or we said this about the anointing. The anointing is not a substance that comes and goes, but um it is the inddwelling life of Christ himself.
Okay? Christ, the anointed one and his anointing. the inddwelling life of Christ himself. And we gave you a scripture, I think it was 1 John 2:27 that says that this anointing you have received lives in you. It abides in you. It is not something external. Is not something that you must chase.
I gave you another scripture from um 2 Corinthians chap 1 verse 21 and 22 and it talks about how he establishes us uh with Christ and has anointed us has anointed us already. He who establishes us with you in Christ has anointed us already. So every believer is already anointed and he's not partially anointed. uh he's not conditionally anointed.
Every believer is already anointed. And so we begin to ask different questions about this. Uh the next question we looked at is why do some appear more anointed? And uh we were confronting people yesterday like you know you've asked that question. Why do some people appear more anointed?
Uh so it's not that they have more anointing. Yesterday we made it made it very clear that was that's not the issue. The issue is that they are more aware of that anointing. They yield to that anointing. They have confidence in that anointing and they are unashamed to express that anointing.
It's not that they have more anointing than you have, but they have like more awareness and they yield and they have confidence and they're not ashamed of it. And we looked at that's really what it means to have the obedience to the faith. I mean, they completely believe um that this anointing that they have is on the inside of them.
So the difference is not how much you possess, it's the expression. Are you willing to express it in being aware of the anointing and yielding to that anointing and having confidence in that anointing? So the thinking is every believer uh has the same spirit, but not every believer is equally persuaded of that anointing. you have the you all we all have the same spirit and uh but you know some are not as persuaded by that anointing in them as others.
And then we got on uh down there and we started dealing with this big question. Does fasting and spending time with God increase the anointing? And the answer is no. Fasting and spending time with God doesn't increase the anointing, but it can increase your awareness and sensitivity to the anointing.
It doesn't increase the anointing, but it increases the awareness and your sensitivity to the anointing. Fasting doesn't move God. We know that by now. It it it it literally where this subject is concerned, it literally um quiets your flesh. Uh so you can recognize what what's already true.
Your flesh is saying all this stuff. You know, you need to strive to get more of the anointing. I'll quiet the fasting and spending time with God. Quiet your flesh so you can start aligning yourself and and recognition of what is already true. I think I gave you a scripture for that.
I think it was Colossians chapter 3. Uh, no. Colossians 2. Colossians 2:es 20- 23. And that and you need really read that one. I really want you to read that one in several translations. Colossians 2 20-23. It warns against practices that appear spiritual, but they don't produce real power.
And it warns against practices that appear to be spiritual. Y'all have seen it. But it doesn't produce real power. And then of course Hebrews 4 and3 talks about if you believe then you enter into the rest. So um the authentic belief you'll always find it in rest. So the new covenant flow is not do more to get more anointing.
Okay? It is believe more and manifest what you already have. You believe more. You're more aware. You're yielding more. Okay. And then I think we stopped at this one. Um, this was interesting. I I was trying to deal with the questions that I know people have, but they might feel a little funny talking about or even asking somebody about it.
But why do crowds follow certain people? And this is where I warned against uh competitive jealousy and comparing yourself amongst yourself. Uh why do crowds follow certain people? And so this is where we start feeling bad. know I'm not as annoying as they are and got to be careful of that envy and all that stuff that comes up for where there is envy uh and strife and there'll be every evil work all kinds of stuff comes on top of that.
So this is important and we need to to have be honest about it and add balance. So I gave you like four things to to that I think gave u um answers to the question. Number one, uh, clarity of revelation. There just certain people with certain gifts and certain anointings.
When some people hear them, they hear a lot more clarity and they hear a lot more revelation. They recognize uh this, they can understand something. It's kind of like Acts 14, Acts 4:13. When these uh disciples came back, they could tell that they had been with Jesus. Okay?
Cuz they really get it. And so I want people to, you know, and not I know everybody can't receive from me, but they can receive from somebody. And uh so that's one of the reasons that attracts folks to different anointings and different ministry gifts. Another one we talked about was boldness and identity.
I mean some some anointings they act without hesitation. Um, you remember Acts 3:6, you know, when they talked about the gate called beautiful and he said, "Such as I have, I give unto thee in the name of Jesus. Rise up and walk." Wow. That's boldness. And that's that's amazing right there.
So, some people follow because of that. And then expectation and faith. And I mean, I'm talking about from both sides. Uh, you know, even Jesus was limited uh whenever there was unbelief there. So, uh, you know, faith draws manifestations and some people are are drawn to that. And then the assignment, some people are drawn because of the assignment and the grace that's on that assignment.
So, different callings carry different expressions of grace. Um, let's see. Ephesians 4:7, grace is given according to the measure of Christ's gift. Okay. So, you can look at that. But I think the warning is probably the most important part of why I want to talk about that. Don't compare yourself among yourself or be jealous because another guy's anointing is, you know, drawing a great crowd or drawing great results or, you know, you just you got to be satisfied with you.
You have to be satisfied with because besides here's the wonderful thing about the anointing. The anointing is not for you. The anointing is for somebody else. And so rejoice in that. Don't get jealous in that. I know a lot of preachers, they get jealous of other preachers because oh wow, he had he has a great crowd or oh, you know, he's traveling around the world or oh, he man, don't do that.
That that's just not worth it. Just rejoice with people and be glad for him and be okay with who you are. Be okay with your anointing. Don't compare, you know. Um, you know, be okay with with who you are. You know, I know I'm never going to be 67.
I'm good with that. Okay. Not good with that. And everything is fine. So, now let's pick up today where we left off with the questions. And so, the the fifth question I want to ask you is what about signs and wonders following? Because the Bible talks about signs and wonders following.
And this is key uh to to this message of uh of uh of grace and even with this teaching that I'm sharing with you on the anointing. Mark chapter 16 and verse 17- 18. These signs shall follow them, watch this, that believe. Wow. He didn't say these signs shall follow them uh who fast more or these signs shall follow them who strive the most.
Right? He said these signs shall follow them that what? Believe. That believe those who believe. So the signs will follow those who believe. Okay. Now here's a cool thing about it. Fasting and prayer will deal with unbelief like like like nothing else. Uh I shared the situation about the boy who was uh being tormented by this demon throwing himself in fire and all that kind of stuff.
And uh the disciples tried to cast the demon out but they couldn't do it. And then they asked Jesus when Jesus finally showed up and cast the demon out. And they asked him um Lord how come we couldn't cast him out? I mean they should have been able to do it.
They've done it before. how come we couldn't cast him out? And Jesus responded. He said, "Because of your unbelief." And he said, "This kind of unbelief doesn't come out except by prayer and fasting." He wasn't talking about the demon. He said, "The reason why you couldn't be successful there is because of unbelief."
And then he says, "And this kind of unbelief, that's the subject now. This kind of unbelief cometh not out except by prayer and fasting." And I tell you what, the Bible talks about that signs and wonders follow those who believe. I tell you, it's a great opportunity to go on go on a fast and prayer to deal with any issues of unbelief in your in your life and and to make you more aware of what you have and and to make you more yielded to what you have and to give you more confidence in what you have, but not to increase your anointing.
You're not increasing your anointing. You're increasing your awareness of that anointing and and and being more yielded to that anointing. Right? So, let's deal with the real secret here. Okay? Somebody said there's a secret. Yeah, let's deal with the real secret. And the real secret is effort versus yielding.
All right. Some powerful things that we've already talked about. You remember that um that week we talked about willpower versus yielded power and how God uh never gave you willpower to operate aside from depending on the Holy Spirit. Okay. Uh willpower says I must do more to become anointed. willpower.
I must do more to become anointed. It's not gonna happen. It It's not sustainable because you're trying to you're trying to to see results through your willpower. Okay? But yielding versus willpower. Yielding says, "I already carry him. Now I trust and I released. I release. I I I already carry him.
I already have anointing. He is in me. God put me in him. I have that anointing. That anointing is in me. All right. So, I carry that anointing. In fact, say this out loud. I carry the anointed one in his anointing. All right. Now, I trust and I release.
And so, what happens is, you know, um I think a good scripture for you to meditate on this is Galatians chapter 2 and verse 20. He says, "Christ lives in me." Christ is not Jesus's last name. Christ is the anointed one in his anointing. Jesus the anointed one his anointing.
Christ lives in me. Galatians 2:26. And then John 7 and verse um 38, he says, "Out of his belly shall flow rivers." Oh my God. Rivers of living water. All right. Now notice flow. It'll flow out of you. Not force out of you. It flows out of you.
This anointing in you flows out of you. Not not force out of you. Y'all listen to me now. Flowing. Flowing. Let it flow. This is not supposed to be a striving thing to try to get anointed and and get results. It's supposed to flow out of you. So now, how do we look at this from a practical perspective?
I I really wanted to get to this yesterday, but we couldn't. Listen to what I'm saying here. Now, um I I guess in a way I'm I'm beginning to start teaching you about signs and wonders and and and the grace gang. Man, I'm telling you, you guys are so equipped and and now I just got to get you to just just adjust your thinking and be more aware what you have. uh so it'll flow out so you're not forcing it out through striving.
I want to give you four things to keep in mind. These four things I remind myself of. In fact, all this past week I kept reminding myself of this over and over again. So here's what I do. Here's what you how to live from that anointing to see these see certain things happen in your life.
Number one, I acknowledge I am anointed because Christ is in me. I acknowledge that. There's something about acknowledging I I'm anointed. I'm I'm not that's not an arrogant statement. It's it's a statement of identity. I am anointed. Okay. So, I I acknowledge that. I acknowledge that. And then secondly, this is huge right here.
Expect. How many how many of you get up expecting from that anointing? I expect I expect for God to work through me and I expect for him to work through me right now, not later. I I I expect for God to work through me, not not uh not not later.
I expect for him to work through me right now. Or every every step I take, every place I go, I'm expecting God to work through me. I expect when I walk into a place of business, if they don't have nobody in there, I expect for people to just start coming from all places.
I I I've done that several times and and the uh owners would say, you know, wow, you know, nobody was in here all day and then you came in here and everybody start coming and I'm like, you know, there's a supply. There's a supply. I expect for God to work through me to speak a word to somebody, to make a declaration, maybe to pray to somebody.
In other words, the reason why it's a flow, it's like I don't have to make something happen. I'm trying to I'm not trying to make something happen to try to prove to you how anointed I am. I I I I just wait on the flow. I mean, God says, "I want you to pray for this person."
I just flow with that. God says, "I want you to declare this." Just flow with that. God says, "I want you to give this person a certain amount of money." I just flow with that. I flow with that. It's a flow, not a force. Okay? So, I acknowledge.
All right? And I'm I'm not talking about just out of church service. I acknowledge this in my life. I mean, I don't know who I'm going to encounter today or or what I'm going to encounter, but I know I'm I'm I'm supplied. It's the supply of the spirit is on the inside of me.
Glory to God. I'm about to shout. The supply of the spirit's on the inside of me. Praise the Lord. Now, here's the third thing. Act. Act. Step out only when prompted. Don't just go to acting. Well, maybe if I do something then something will happen. You know, I'm believing God that I'm got 2020 vision, so I'm going to just take my glasses off and drive to work without seeing.
No, no, no. You step out when you're prompted. Okay? When you're prompted to pray, when you're prompted to speak, when you're prompted to declare. See, we mess up trying to make something happen force instead of flowing with what the spirit of God is prompting us to say, prompting us to do, prompting us to declare.
This is important. You have to become acquainted with these prompting. Oh wow. You got to become acquainted with these prompings and you got to be willing to at a moment's notice, you know, I'm going to flow with this thing. Don't sit back and kind of think about it.
I was um we were in Las Vegas for the meeting and a um um a lady came and and and and she uh what do you do? The turn back service, clean the room up. And I was just sitting there minding my business and the Lord said, "I want you to go give her $100 right now."
I jumped up. Tap said, "What's going on?" I said, "Ma'am, ma'am, hold on for a moment." I was prompted to do that, you know, and um and and it was it brought her great joy and and it brought me great joy because I want to know how to be prompted by the Holy Spirit to pray, to speak somebody, to declare something, to give to somebody.
All right? So, acknowledge, expect, act. Now, here's the last one. Rest. Rest. I'm not talking about kicking back by the pool. I'm talking about resting in the Holy Spirit and the anointing that you are aware of which is now part of your identity. Okay. You have when you rest there is no pressure to perform.
Just respond. When you rest, somebody said, "What? What just happened to you?" I I I felt that in the city of my soul. When you are at rest, there is no pressure to perform. Just respond. Why would And I see people do that. They have this pressure, you know, it's the time of the service and no, I I need to I need to perform.
I need to perform. I am not doing that. I mean, I just respond. Spirit of God's speaking to me. I'm feeling prompted to do something. I just respond to the prompting. Um, I just respond to the prompting. Um, I if you get spiritually deep with this, you're going to miss the whole thing.
I'm I'm trying to show you how to be aware of the anointing in your everyday living. Okay? I I'm not trying to to to give you another rule. I'm I I'm saying, "All right, this is how I respond in my everyday living. I I could be in my car and if I'm prompted to go in the gas station to get, I don't know, to get some paper, then I'm going to do that."
And then the Holy Spirit says, "This is the reason why I bought you in here." I respond. I respond. I don't I don't I don't force the anointing and I don't have a pressure to perform. Right? All right. So, those are those are the four things that you know and and I'm I'm really practicing this.
This is so important. So, um here's the last thing I want you to think about. I think I got enough time. a powerful thing for us to really look at. You know, instead of saying or asking how to how to get more anointed, instead of saying how do I get more anointed, right?
I think I already said it, but I'll say it again. It should be how to live from the anointing already within you. No more how do I get more anointed. No, it's how do I live from that anointing that's already in me? How do I live from that anointing that's already in me?
Not trying to figure out ways to get more. We're always looking for more. More. More. Holy Spirit. Give me more of your presence. More. More of you. More of you. Stop it. It's like you got all you going to get of him. Now you got to become intimately aware of what you already have.
More anointing. You already got all you going to get from the anointing. So now you got to become more intimate. Oh God, forgive me some more. He done forgave you all of the forgiveness you going to get. You now you got to become aware of it and line up with it and live through it, you know.
So the people who seem more anointed are often just simply those who have stopped negotiating with doubt. I made my mind up. I'm not negotiating with doubt anymore. The people who refuse to negotiate with doubt, they probably seem a lot more annoyed. I'm not going to ne negotiate with doubt.
I'd rather take the risk of missing it than to negotiate with doubt. God says, "Go up to that lady and give $100." You like, "Oh, man. I plan on using that." I ain't doing that. It's I'm I'm do it. I'm going to flow. And what he's saying, do it.
I'm not going to negotiate with doubt. The people who seem to be most anointed, they are pretty convinced of what's already true. They're pretty convinced. They are persuaded what's already true that they are they already have this anointing. Let me give you a last scripture to look at here. 2 Corinthians chapter 3 and verse 5 and 6. 2 Corinthians chapter 3 uh verse 5 and 6.
He says, "Our sufficiency is of God, not of us, not of you. Your sufficiency is of God. It's not of you. Our sufficiency is of God, not of you." That's the deal, dude. We think our sufficiency is from us. It's not from us. Our sufficiency is from God.
Okay? It is from it. It is it is um it is of the spirit of God. It is from God. It's not the letter. The letter killth. The spirit gives life. My sufficiency is from God. My sufficiency is from that anointed one. And that anointing that lives in me.
I am sufficient in the sufficiency of God. Um, and and that's what really it means to be content, that I have confidence in the sufficiency that comes from God. And so godliness, godliness plus contentment equals great gain. Or godliness plus your faith in the sufficiency of the spirit of God.
And that's that that equals great gain. And so you we're back at square one. Um and that is having a total dependence upon God to meet everything that uh that he said he would do. Um so on Thursday guys I want to talk about living a life where signs follow you.
Okay? How do I live a life? This is not let me take all these things and perform at church so people will think I'm awesome. How to live a life where signs and wonders are following you and uh you know so you'll stop trying to get anointed and start being aware of the anointing you already have.
Um that's really good. Somebody says we need to change our vocabulary. That's huge. We we really do. The major thing that I'm always dealing with is not what to say, but how to say it. Not what to say. It's always Lord, help me to articulate how do I say this?
You know, I I see something I I I receive something in my heart and I I try to get it out and I'm like, help me to help me to how do I articulate this? Even when I write notes and and sometimes I'm preaching and I look at my notes and I'm like that's just still not I I feel like there's a better way to say this, a better way to articulate it.
So, you're so right about this. Uh that's it. I hope y'all were on the bus this morning. Uh this is uh something that is preparing you to cause people to look and say, "Wow, their God is God." Amen. So, awesome. Awesome. Awesome. All right. So, here's the deal.
We are coming to Joe Hannesburg Randberg, South Africa for the Grace Life 2020 conference in South Africa. We'll be at Rama Church, Rama Ministries, April the 9th through the 11th, 2026. And you still got time to make it. I hope we still got seats, but I'm telling you, it's going to be a good time.
It's going to be a good time. Um, uh, I'm going to be preaching. Taff is going to be preaching. Bishop McClennon's going to be preaching. I'm also trying to get up a ministers and leaders conference on Friday at 2:00. Um, and Taffy and I are going to close dealing with a men's and women's uh, fellowship where we talk about relationships.
That's going to be pretty cool. Both of us on the stage at the same time. Um, man, you know, you're this is going to be an amazing time and uh, I cannot wait to be there. Shinach is going to be there singing. Jordan's going to be singing. Praise and worship team by the Rama Singers.
It's going to be a great time in the Lord. And I want you to register today, April the 9th through the 11th. Uh that starts uh next Thursday. And uh we are just ready to go. I'm I got so much to talk about. I just uh and then some of you in the United States that won't be able to go, we are working to see if we can maybe get something online.
It'll only be uh uh in the United States. See if we can get something that'll be beamed right back here in the US only. So, um it won't be online in South Africa for sure, but we're going to see if we can get it being to those of you in the US.
