This is still in the true prosperity series, but we're going to talk about soul prosperity.

And remember, when we talk about prosperity, prosperity is not defined finances. Prosperity is not defined money. Prosperity is defined wholeness. Nothing missing, nothing broken. Y'all got my pie. Stick my pie up there. I use my pie the whole series cuz it says it a lot better than I can.

You are not prosperous just because you have money. You can have a billion dollars and a billion dollars doesn't make you prosperous. Prosperity is wholeness. See, prosperity is not just having money but don't have peace. Neither is it just having peace and not having money. Prosperity is nothing missing and nothing broken.

So that's a picture of prosperity. When you have your finances, your health, your joy, your security, your purpose, your peace, your identity, your relationships, that's wholeness. See, you're not you cannot riches not just confound to being to having finances. You might be rich in family and enrich in relationships.

You might be rich, filthy, rich in peace. >> You follow what I'm saying? But now what happens when you don't have your finances? Okay, then you know or you don't have and you you know you got health, joy, peace, but without finances the the health you have, you're worried, the joy is there for a minute.

Security is questioned. Purpose is questioned. All right. All right. What happens when you don't have your health? All right. Now, you can have finances, but you don't have your health. You can have finances, but you don't have your health. You just a sick man with money. And And now you ain't got no health.

And you know the joy all right sometime, but it depends on how you feel. Your security. I just don't know if I'm going to live or die. Perfect. You see, you got to have all you got to have it all. So, what if I don't have my joy?

Okay. I got my money. I got my health, but I ain't got no joy. You a sad man with health and a lot of money, but you ain't got your joy, which is going to affect your health. You ain't got your joy, you ain't trying to give to nobody.

You ain't got your joy, your relationships. It's wholeness. You You've got to reprogram your thinking that when you hear prosperity, you don't think money. >> Yeah. >> When you hear prosperity, you think wholeness. It's what Jesus described as I've come that you might have life and have it more abundantly.

And abundant life is wholeness. And he died so we can be whole. Nothing missing and nothing broken in our life. ((music playing)) And that's what prosperity means. Amen. >> Amen. >> Now, so what we're going to do this morning, we're going to talk about soul prosperity. Soul prosperity. Man is a spirit being.

Man is a spirit. He possesses a soul. He lives in a physical body. Your soul is made up of your mind, your will and your emotions. Your mind sometimes can be blinded to the truth and sometimes you don't even know it. You remember the mad man of Gera?

I believe it was in Mark chapter 5 where he was possessed with legions of demons. >> Yes. >> Jesus went ministered to him. And when Jesus ministered to him, you know, the the demons were negotiating with Jesus. Don't send us to hell. Send us into those swine, you know.

And when they came and they found the man, they found him uh uh sitting clothed and in his watch this right mind. In his right mind. So those demons controlled his mind. And I don't want wrong influences to control your mind. Soul prosperity is having the right mind.

You're not prospering in your mind if uh you don't have the mind that is in alignment with the finished works of Jesus. >> When you have a mind that tells you you're not righteous. When you have a mind that's filled with condemnation and shame and fear, you don't have a right mind. >> That's not a prosperous mind.

And so he talks about, you know, your soul is is is made up of your mind. Your will, your will. There's a lot of places in the New Testament when he says, you know, you know, see to it that you don't do this. Uh, give no place to the devil.

That that requires your will. And a lot of times we give place to the devil. We we we it's your will. It's your decision. You decide to give place to the devil. Well, I'm just going to say something. Sometimes you don't need to say nothing. >> Your your will, your decision mechanism, that's where your decisions are.

And he says, don't give place. You don't give place. That's an act of your will. You're giving place to the devil's act of your will. Well, when you give place to the devil, your will is not prosperous. It's not prosperous. Your mind, your will, and then your emotions.

And boy, Satan loves to sit in the driver's seat of your emotions, especially your negative emotions, to try to get you to do something because your emotions move you. Your emotions move you to when they're negative, they move you to a negative place. And so we're talking about a prosperous soul, a soul that's in alignment with wholeness, a soul that is whole in your mind, whole in your will, whole a whole emotions, whole emotion.

Now you you're Christians and some have tried to tell you that you don't have emotions. You have emotions. The problem is is when you allow those emotions to have you and then they start governing and dominating your life. But you want to be have a prosperous soul. You want to have wholeness in your soul and your emotions.

You want to have wholeness in your uh in your will and your decision making pro uh mechanism. I I define soul prosperity a as a soul that is aligned and finds rest in the finished works of Jesus. I am the righteousness of God and my soul finds rest in that.

I am redeemed and delivered and my soul finds rest in that. See, the battleground that Satan has chosen to try to defeat you is is in your mind and your will and your emotions. All of the battle happens right up here. The battle of the mind. The mind is the arena of faith.

And and and he tries to get to that battleground through your eye gate, the things you see, through your ear gate, the things you hear, and even your mouth, the things you say. He tries to now uh have influence in your mind, your will and your emotions. So somebody says, "Well, it don't matter what you listen to."

Oh, really? It don't matter what you look at. Oh, really? Whether you whether you think it or not, you're you're you're you're allowing access to your enemy to create battles that you would not have to have if you didn't open the gates for the the tools to show up in your mind.

So when I talk about soul prosperity, I'm not talking about uh uh uh u you know, money in your mind. Okay. So, let's really really listen to this because the key to wholeness in every arena of life is going to be soul prosperity. How are you prospering in your soul?

Let's look at third John verse two. How are you prospering in your soul? 3R John verse two. And uh he says this, "Beloved, I wish above all things." Now the the actual word here for wish is of course pray. Beloved, I pray above all things. I mean, the apostle didn't go around wishing.

You know, I pray above all things. This is pretty powerful because he says, "This is this is the top of my prayer. Above all things." Wow. Above all things, my prayer is that you prosper and be in health. So there is a soul health connection. We're going to look at that you prosper that you that you be whole.

He says, "MY MY TOP PRAYER IS THAT you might be whole, prosper, that you might be whole, prosper, that you might be successful, whole, prosper." And he says part of that wholeness and success and prosperity is health. Talk to y'all about that hamburger this morning. Huh? Cuz there's no exercise routine that's going to defeat bad diet. >> Oh Lord Jesus.

See y'all later. God bless you. And the best supplement you can take is movement. >> Some of y'all need to get up, move. You're not old. You just need to move. >> All right. Now, where you coming from this one? I pray above all things that you prosper.

Now the Greek word here is a word yodu. And in this this word yodu e u o d o o. It literally means I pray that you will succeed. It means to succeed. It means to flourish. It means to grow. It means to achieve. It means to thrive, to succeed, to flourish, to grow, to achieve, to thrive in all things.

All right? So, he wants you to be successful and flourish and he wants you to grow and he wants you to achieve and he wants you to thrive in all things. Well, what are the all things? He wants you to be successful in your relationship, in your marriage.

He wants you to be successful in your parenthood. He wants you to be successful in your finances. He wants you to be successful in your career. He wants you to be successful physically. He wants you to be successful in your health, your joy, your peace, your security, your mindset, your attitude, your character.

Look at this. It's the thing everybody's pursuing. But God is ready to work with you to have all these things. This is the abundant life that he came so you can have. The thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy. But he says, "I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly to the full until it overflows."

Uh now that's not to say just because you know the apostle prays that you might be successful or whole in all of these areas. That's not to say you're not going to have confrontation by the devil. That's not to say that uh you're not going to have trouble.

The Bible says in this world you'll have tribulation but be of good cheer. He said they that live godly shall suffer persecution. That doesn't erase any of that and that doesn't erase it goes away. What he says is, "I want you to know that this is available to you.

Rest here, stand here. Uh uh uh uh I want you to uh embrace this. And when the fight comes, don't let go of it." >> Doesn't mean you're not going to have trouble. As long as you're here, you're going to have some confrontation. But your job is to maintain your grip and to maintain your stance on the finished works of Jesus.

And I tell you that your deliverance, your wholeness, and your prosperity is finished. And what we do is stand to it. We rest in it. We we we we we labor to remain at rest in what's already finished. It's a done deal. It's finished. You walk all of these things from a place of wholeness.

All of these things come from a place of wholeness. Nothing missing and nothing broken. Soul prosperity is a soul in alignment with the finished works of Christ. A soul that's at rest. A soul that is at rest. H Now I know how my soul does. And I just don't want you to sit up here talking about, "Well, yeah, I got my soul at rest."

Boy, please. a soul that is at rest. How many you can recall believing something that Jesus said he finished and then one day you wake up and you're being challenged in that area. >> Okay. So, what do I do when I'm challenged in that area? I know it's finished, but I'm being challenged in that area.

Maybe because of a storm that I went through. Maybe because a situation that happened, it it it knocked my um satellite dish offline. And God hadn't changed. You're still righteous. You're still all the things that he's finished. But we've got to know when to climb on top of the roof and adjust the satellite to get in alignment.

And when you're resting in the finished works of Jesus, that means you are in alignment with the finished works of Jesus. When you're resting in the finished works of Jesus, resting in righteousness means I am righteous no matter how I feel. Resting in redemption. I have been redeemed.

I am forgiven and I'm resting in that. Now your enem is coming to your soul. No, you're not. No, you're not. You know you can't. I don't know why you're resting in your righteousness. Do you realize how you carried yourself when that conversation with you and your husband?

You see how you carried yourself with that? The enemy's job is to try to bring condemnation, try to bring doubt. Just because he tries to bring all those things doesn't mean you relinquish the resistance and just let him have his way. That's right. >> You're Christians. YOU ALWAYS RESIST.

SATAN, I RESIST YOU. NOW, WHAT'S the Bible say? Submit yourself to God. Resist the devil. And what happen? He'll flee. And so, as he comes, stand. >> He ain't going to stay long. >> AND THE QUICKER YOU JUMP TO YOUR STANCE, THE QUICKER he going to leave because he going to make an announcement to the demons.

Ain't no use y'all going in there. I can't get them to move. I can't get them to move. I can't get them to move. I I tempted them to fall. They fell. Then I tried to turn around and condemn them with what I tempted them with. And they still saying they righteous. >> They still saying they're righteous.

My God. A prosperous soul. That's where the attack is. Lord, I receive the finished works of wholeness and prosperity. and you go and somebody calling you talking about a a bill you didn't even know you had. WELL, THAT'S when you hold tight to the finished works. And that means you got to do some laboring.

You might have to sing about what's finished. Meditate on scriptures about what's finished. Go listen to this teaching and others about what's finished. But you letting the devil know, listen, it's still finished. >> I'm just offline just for a moment. I'M GETTING BACK. IT'S STILL FINISHED. THE LIGHTS ARE OFF.

I'M JUST turning the generator back on. It's still finished. You need to let THE DEVIL KNOW, OH, WHAT YOU'RE TELLING ME DOESN'T UNDO WHAT JESUS HAS ALREADY DONE. YOUR TEMPTATIONS ARE NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO UNDO WHAT JESUS HAS DONE WHEN HE SHED HIS BLOOD. WHEN HE SAID, "IT IS FINISHED."

AIN'T NOTHING IN HELL is strong enough to be able to unfinish what Jesus is finished. >> ((applause)) >> Somebody shout, "It is finished." >> But the soul, the soul, >> the soul. I might have told y'all last week about we are spirit beings having a human experience. >> Having a human experience.

Your your spirit is strong. Your spirit is like God. Your spirit is perfect. H And it's your spirit and your your body in this world having a human experience. And then there's a battle for the the the the driver's seat. This perfect man's trying to give you some stuff and the renewing your mind is trying to give you some stuff and then the world and life is trying to give you some stuff.

Be careful of all these podcast people because they don't they don't come from a place of spirit. They come up from a place of of of just life and and we we're spirit being doing life. And what we have can can defeat life unless you conform to life. >> Be not conformed to this world.

I am righteous. >> Life says not based on life. Life is so interesting because life wants to give you another definition of truth. >> And we already have a definition for truth. >> Jesus full of grace and truth. >> We already have we already we have it. But he and then it it goes from what's true.

Everything dealing with God and everything that comes from God is true and LIFE SAYS NO WHAT'S IT IT'S ONLY true if it's in life and IF A MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE say it's true and then you you define IT AS MY TRUTH. MY truth is an attempt to to GO AGAINST THE TRUTH.

AND THE TRUTH IS GOD. GOD IS THE TRUTH BECAUSE EVERYTHING CAME OUT OF GOD. EVERYTHING THAT'S SEEN came out of God. Everything unseen came out of God. You can't ain't nothing MORE TRUE THAN GOD IS. >> Life even CAME OUT OF GOD. HOW YOU GOING TO HOW YOU GOING TO GIVE THE DEFINITION OF TRUTH to what the what truth created?

You creation is not the truth. The creator is the truth. Yeah. >> Yeah. ((cheering)) ((applause)) >> This is the one area Satan hates me to deal with cuz it's his battleground. >> Yeah. >> And he blinds the mind of those who believe not so that the light of the glorious gospel won't come into them. >> Life's Life's not supposed to do you. >> That's right.

That's right. >> Hey man, how you doing? You know it's life. >> Life's not supposed to do you. You do you do life >> and you do life in a more excellent way. >> You do life the way people who are being done by life don't understand. >> Hallelujah. >> THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW YOU can be this way when life said this.

Well, because you're operating on a higher realm than life. THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW SOMEBODY THAT DIDN'T GO TO COLLEGE CAN END UP more successful than THOSE THAT GOT THREE DEGREES in life. Because see, you're you're sitting doing life. [laughter] It's just like people do life like church folks do church.

You know how to do church. You're trying to learn how to do life, but you don't know how to do truth. >> If you feel like you need to perform to be accepted or like you're always falling short, that's not grace. Grace doesn't apply pressure. Grace gives power.
