The Mindset of Christ - Wednesday Morning Service

Yeah, just think about that. Who are we to deny >> the finished works of our Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ? >> Father, we thank you for your presence. >> Thank you for your peace. Thank you for your provisions. Thank you for your protection. Thank you that as you are, so are we right now in this world.

Who are we that you should be so mindful of us? Thank you for making us righteous, sanctified, redeemed, saved, sealed, anointed, strong in you, oh God, and in the power of your might. Thank you for your wisdom to know what to do when we don't know what to do. >> Thank you that we are prosperous people because of your presence. >> Thank you for what you're doing behind the scene.

Thank you for handling every impossibility for mankind. But with you all things are possible. Help us, Holy Spirit, to grasp, to lay hold as we're being taught not to negotiate with doubt and fear, but to rest in you. Not to lean to our own understanding, but to acknowledge you at all of our ways, Father, that you direct our path.

Who are we? That as we pray in tongues, Father, we release the mighty works of God, the finished works of God. There's a refreshing that comes from your presence. There's a healing that come from your presence. There's deliverance that comes from your presence. There's a knowing that comes from your presence, oh God.

Your presence keeps us in your love, looking unto the mercy of our Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ. that when we pray in tongues, oh God, we rise higher and higher and higher like a great edifice. We're far above the powers and principalities and the rulers of the darkness of this world and the spiritual wickedness.

Oh God, Thank you for a MAN, A WOMAN OF GOD. Thank you for your angels that are assigned to them, assigned to their families, assigned to this vision, assigned to every member, assigned to the grace gang, ASSIGNED TO MEDIA. OH GOD, ASSIGN TO our protection. My God. LET YOUR GLORY, LET YOUR GLORY, LET YOUR glory and we are your glory, OH GOD.

WE ARE YOUR GLORY. Glory be to God. Glory be to God. Help us understand. Holy Ghost. Oh enlighten eyes of understanding. Awaken us. Awaken us even the more. Thank you for the radical changes in our lives. Oh, we bless you this morning, Father. We are blessed. We're more than conquerors. >> We are victorious. >> WE ARE WEALTHY. WE ARE RICH. >> We are highly favored. We are deeply loved. >> We are. >> Help us to mirror your life in this earth. Help us. Help us to pray, Father, and believe as we pray, having no doubt in our hearts.

We're the redeemed. >> We are We're blessed. >> All is well with us. All is well with our families. All is well with our nations. You hold the heart of our president, >> vice president, governors of every state, mayors of every city, >> every elected and appointed official. >> We stay in your peace >> as we keep our minds stayed on you.

Even in the midst of wars and the rumors of wars, >> you are our God. >> Thank you, Aba. Thank you for breathing on us, >> breathing in us, breathing through us. >> For this we are grateful. In Jesus name we pray. >> Lift your hands before you heavenly father.

In his presence there's a path of life. In his presence there's a fullness of joy as pleasures forever more. It's a mindset >> and we're being taught trained how to not let Satan rob our thoughts, try to make us forget who we are and who's we are. We thank you for this time now, Father.

In Jesus name we pray. >> In Jesus name, we believe that name of Jesus. Amen. >> We believe in the power of his name. Amen. >> Glory to God. Hallelujah. Come on, give him a great big hand clapping. Praise. Oh, hallelujah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Blessed be God.

Blessed, blessed, blessed be God. >> Woo. You all may be seated in the presence of God. God is a it's really no words to describe him except we pray in the spirit. Amen. >> Amen. I have a lot of opportunities to talk or get to pray with a a a lot of people and this topic came up.

Not even a topic. was just in a talking to one of my sisters in Christ and I said we have really got to guard and protect our minds, >> our thoughts because the things of this world as the Bible says you know it's want to it wants to choke the life out of us all the distraction ctions, wars, rumors of wars, and this thing coming alive with the children killing the parents and the and and if we don't keep our minds steadfast in the things of God, >> meditating on his word.

Yeah, I watch the news, but I I don't watch it no four and five hours. I watch it enough to kind of keep up to know how to say, "Holy Spirit, help me pray for this. Help me to pray for such and such, you know, that's going on so that I'm not distracted and don't believe that God is not who God is."

The Bible say he is, he was, and he is to come. Yes, >> he's still God from generation to generation to generation. He is God. >> And so, we don't want to forget that. Amen. >> We are people of the most high God. We are sons of the most high God.

We are created in the image and likeness of him. And now in this dispensation of grace, this vision for world changes is has has come so alive in me that I get to proclaim Jesus the Christ, his grace, his manifested word, his grace to get my mind transformed and renew, think different than I how I have been thinking >> and how to apply this grace in my everyday life with a practical and effective manner.

So if my life, my world is changed, then now I'm anointed to help somebody else get their immediate world changed. Come on and give God some praise for this vision for our pastors. So I want to talk to us about the mindset of Christ. We have the mindset of Christ.

He says, "Let this mind in Christ be in you." Please, let's look at Philippians chapter 2. Let me start with that in verse five. Y'all feeling good? this morning. >> Amen. >> You might as well cuz the good God is in you. >> And I know we have issues, situations, and circumstances.

But you know what? I I ask God, help me to yield to your goodness. >> I ain't feeling the best in this day, but I'm feeling good when I acknowledge you. And he'll give you some energy. The Holy Ghost know how to energize you. Glory to God. >> But look at this in Philippians 2 and 5.

We're going to start with the King James. Then we're going to go to the passion. Then we're going to go to the mirror. Out of the mouths of two or three witnesses. So I got some witnesses this morning. Amen. >> He says, "Let this mind in you which was also in Christ."

Keep going for me, please. Who being in the form of God, look at that. Say, "I'm in the form of God." >> I'm in the form of God. >> Who being in the form of God? Thought in that robbery to be equal with God. See, I'm equal with my my biological parents.

I just know not to overstep my boundaries. And then they knock me on a wall somewhere. Keep going for me. but made himself of no reputation and took upon him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men. I I told I was just conversing with God and I was saying, "Dad, what a plan you had.

Put yourself in flesh, name yourself Jesus." I mean, came through a wound, came out, and name yourself Jesus. And when you came out, you you already had the plan, the purpose, the timing. You had everything already set just so we could become sons of God. What a plan.

I'm glad I'm in God's plan. Amen. >> But one more, Jess. And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Let's look at that in the passion translation, please. And consider the example that Jesus, the anointed one, say, Jesus is my Lord. >> Jesus is my Lord. my savior. >> my savior. >> My redeemer. >> My redeemer. >> And I'm anointed. >> I'm anointed >> like Jesus. >> Like Jesus. >> And consider the example that Jesus, the anointed one, has set before us.

Let his mindset become your motivation. Let his mindset become your motivation. None of us in this room or even online grace gang can ever compare all of our stuff what we go through what Jesus did >> on that cross all the beatings we didn't want to get a whooping with a switch let alone with catine tails I don't know about y'all but my mama didn't do belts they did switches they help you remember and my mama didn't hit you on the legs She said, "I'm not going to tear up the clothes I bought."

So we we got a whipping on the posterior anatomy. And so when you sit down, you remember he existed in the form of God. Yet he gave no thought to seizing equality with God as his supreme prize. Say, "I have the mind of Christ." >> I have the mind of Christ. >> Say it again.

I have the mind of Christ. >> I have the mind of Christ. >> My God. My God. Listen. Grace must be applied to our thoughts. We We got to train ourselves to immediately think of the grace of God. this unmmerited, unearned, you know, this infinite provisions of his love, his infinite love and his provisions for us is it's unending.

It's, you know, he don't run out of nothing. His mercies are brand new every morning. His compassions fail not. Great is his faithfulness. God is faithful to us when we're not faithful at all. >> But he still let us wake up every morning. He still gives us strength.

He still provides for us. He says, "I've given you all things that pertain unto life and godliness or god likeness." And so when we don't give thought, when we don't think on those things, when we don't keep ourselves in remembrance, even God said, "Put me in remembrance of my word.

I sent you my word. I'm going to watch over my word to perform it, but give me something to work with. Send me my word. It will not come back vain, void, unproductive, but my word will accomplish. It will prosper in the thing where unto you sent it. >> Jesus sent the word.

He didn't go everywhere. He said Jesus sent the word and they were healed. >> See, I can't go everywhere. I I am planning a trip to Washington to go meet with the president, but I can send forth the word because the word has instructed to pray for those in authority over you that you shall lead and live a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness. >> Father, you hold the heart of the king. >> I haven't seen a king or any status that thought they were higher than God >> succeed.

Amen. >> He all through ages, he's brought him down. >> That's right. >> Amen. >> So, I'm not going to get caught up. I'm I'm respectful >> and I honor the office, but I will not exalt anything or anybody above God. His word says, "Oh, magnify the Lord with me.

Let us exalt his name above every name that is named." Amen. Come on and give God some praise. I'm about to slap lose it up in here. God's grace must be applied to our thoughts and our minds every day. Give us Lord our daily bread. No matter what or where.

Don't forget who's you are and who you are. >> We are the BODY OF CHRIST. SATAN HAVE NO power over us. But we overcome evil with good. And there's none good but God. Amen. >> The weapons of our warfare, >> they're not carnal. They're not fleshy, but they are mighty through God.

Through God. Let's look at that. 2 Corinthians chapter 10, please. We're going to do the passion and then we're going to do the mirror. Oh, God. Thank you, Jesus. on my way and it's like a mind stayed on on him. You have perfect peace. I'm not going to worry myself to death about who I can't change and what I can't fix. >> But I can pray and give God praise >> and thank him >> that whatever change need to be made, he already saw it before I prayed it. >> How about that?

Amen. >> So God ain't caught up surprise. He, you know, this little stuff we do down here on earth, it it's just for participation with him >> with his own knowing self. I told him, I said, "Since you know everything, please let me know what I need to know."

And then help me know it. Look at here. Y'all better hold on for although we live in the natural realm, we don't wage a military campaign employing human weapons, using manipulation, witchcraft to achieve our owns. Instead, our our spiritual weapons are energized, here we go, with divine power to look at here, to effectively dismantle the defenses behind which people hide. >> A lot of people don't realize or unaware what Satan is operating.

That's a gift of the spirit. That's called the discerning of the spirit. That's that's the gift of tongues, interpretations, and the discerning of the spirit. He says to know no man by the flesh. Know them by the spirit. But if you don't pray in the spirit, then your spirit is not going to be your soul is not going to be enlightened.

So you can effectively not come against the person but deal with the spirit that that person might be unaware of. >> So that's why Satan want us get engaged in gossiping and murmuring and and backbiting and judging and and find fault. But there's a greater way. He's poured his love in our hearts.

So we can love him and love people. People, well, I don't understand why why brother such and so do what he do. He didn't tell me to understand brother such and so. He told me to understand his word and to love brother such and so. You can't understand humans.

You ain't even understood yourself. Okay, let me read. We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture like prisoners of war every thought and insist that it bow in their obedience to the anointed one.

You have to train. We have to train. Us have to train ourselves. Put this mind set. Let it set in the mind of Christ. Say, "My mind is anointed." >> My mind is anointed. >> I have prosperous thoughts. >> I have prosperous thoughts. >> I have victorious thoughts. >> I have victorious thoughts.

All right, let's look at it in the uh mirror starting with verse three. The fact that we are living in a physical world in human bodies in human bodies of flesh does not mean that we engage ourselves in a combat dictated by the typical tit fortat strategies of religion and the politics of the day.

I ain't f to argue with nobody about nobody's religion. I am not going to engage in arguing about politics. >> I I know what I know. I believe what I believe. And if you know more than me, hallelujah, I'll learn something from you if I see results from what you think you know. >> Uhhuh.

The dynamic of our strategy is revealed in God's ability to disengage mindsets and perceptions that have held people captive and pseudo fortresses in in your thought in your mind. That's what that pseudo is. It's it's your way of thinking. You you you hold it like a fortress for centuries.

That's why a lot of times it takes us to to come out of bondage because we don't know how to let go of those thoughts and we can't get any further because we don't want to let them go because they've come familiar. It's been comfortable to us. But God says there's a better way.

I'm giving you the mind of Christ. >> I'm giving you my thoughts. I'm sending you my word. I need for you to MEDITATE ON MY WORD DAY and night. I want you to be strong. I want you to be courageous. I want you to have good success. I want you to make your WAY PROSPEROUS BECAUSE MY PRESENCE will make you prosperous.

Every lofty idea and argument positioned against God's knowledge of us is cast down and exposed to be a mere invention of our own imagination. It's what we put in our minds, what we look at all day, what we listen to all day. Man, if I'd have stayed on that road of pornography, oh my god.

Yeah, I used to look at it. And that's all I'm going to say. But I had to get my imagination. See, those things put false imaginations in your thoughts. Then it make your body think it want to do all of that. That's you got to guard this thing.

Yeah. >> Got to protect it. It It's just like I keep a guard. It's just like when I was in the military and and I had to do guard duty. >> Man, I couldn't go to sleep. A enemy could have come and took me out. If he took me out and while I'm on guard, he could have wiped out my whole unit.

You got to guard this thing like a soldier. Imagination. We arrest every thought at spear point. Anything that could possibly trigger an opposing threat to our redeemed identity. Say, "My identity is redeemed." >> My redeemed. >> Okay. Say it like you mean it. >> My identity is redeemed. >> My identity is redeemed and innocence is taken captive.

The caliber of our weapon is empowered by the revelation of the ultimate consequence of the obedience of Christ. Let's look at that. Can we pull that up in the amplified? Then I'm going to go to Philippians chapter 4. It says, "For though we walk in the flesh as mortal men, we are not carrying on our spiritual warfare according to the flesh and using the weapons of man.

The weapons of our warfare are not physical weapons of flesh and blood. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the true knowledge of God. And we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ.

You have to make your thoughts obey God. You going to have some crazy thoughts. I do. But I immediately bring them in subjection and make them obey what God says about what that thought trying to tell me a lie about. Philippians chapter 4. Mindset. A mindset. I want my mind set.

I want my mind set. Philippians chapter 4. Ain't this good? I would like my dear friend and burden bearer to help resolve this issue for both women have diligently labored with me for the prize and helped me in spreading the revelation of the gospel along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers.

All of their names are written in the book of life. You know our names in the book of life. Even before we get there, our name's already written. >> If you're not saved today, we'll make sure your name get in. You come on and you get born again.

Amen. >> Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. And we got all kind of seasons going on in our lives. Our outward expressions can show it. I was uh talking to a a young man. I've been knowing him since, you know, he was a teenager.

Now he's become a man. and he felt overwhelmed with something and then it was like he literally I literally hold your head up. >> The only one who wants you to keep looking down like you don't have no hope is Satan. >> The Bible say lift your eyes towards the heels which cometh your help.

All of your help cometh from the Lord. All you the help you need, he's in you. You're just not acknowledging him. Anything that you've gone through, it ain't no surprise to him. He's just wanting you to willingly, humbly invite him into your situation. That's all. But you holding your head down is your oppression, suppression.

You in despair. You ain't got no hope. And now your head now here like a pulper and it needs to be raised like you're a king. >> You're son of God. >> Put yourself in remembrance. >> You don't let that stuff out. Think what God said about you. >> Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life.

Let joy overflow for you are you you are united with the anointed one. Say, I am united >> I am united >> with the anointed one. >> with the anointed one. >> I am anointed. >> I am anointed. >> I am Holy Ghost filled. >> I am holy ghost. >> I AM FIRE BAPTIZED. >> BAPTIZED. >> I AM TONGUE TALKING. >> I AM >> I AM GLORY WALKING. >> GLORY. >> I am victorious. >> I am victorious. >> I'M MORE THAN A CONQUEROR. >> MORE THAN A CONQUEROR. >> ALL I DO IS WIN. >> ALL I DO is win. >> IT'S A FIXED FIGHT. >> IT'S A FIXED FIGHT.

AND THE WEAPONS OF MY WARFARE, >> THE WEAPONS OF my warfare, >> THEY'RE NOT CARNAL. >> THEY'RE NOT CARNAL. >> THEY ARE NOT FLESHY. >> THEY'RE NOT FLESH. >> BUT THEY ARE MIGHTY. >> THROUGH GOD, >> through God. >> THROUGH THE PULLING DOWN, >> THROUGH THE PULLING DOWN >> OF STRONGHOLDS >> STRONGHOLDS >> IN MY IMAGINATION. >> IMAGINATION. >> I HAVE THE THOUGHTS OF GOD. >> I HAVE THE THOUGHTS OF GOD. >> I HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST. >> I HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST. >> I HAVE THE WISDOM OF GOD. >> I HAVE THE WISDOM OF GOD. >> AND I THANK YOU, LORD. >> I THANK YOU, LORD. >> I THANK YOU, LORD.

I THANK YOU. >> I THANK YOU, LORD. >> THANK YOU, LORD. >> DON'T TALK YOURSELF INTO A LIE. >> YOU TELL YOURSELF THE TRUTH. >> IT AIN'T GOT NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR FEELINGS. STOP LOOKING AT THE SITUATION like you see it AND LOOK AT IT LIKE GOD SAW IT.

Let gent because I had a change of mind, y'all. I changed because my words change to renew my mind. And I'm still evolving just like a the more you peel an onion, the strong it gets. It'll start bringing tears to your eyes, >> but as long as they're out on there, until you cut it and peel it, you can't even smell it. >> Let gentleness be seen in every relationship.

For our Lord is ever near. Say, "God is in me now." >> God is in me now. >> I'm anointed now. >> I'm anointed now. He says, "Don't be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing." Worry is false meditation. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faithfilled request before God with an overflowing gratitude.

Tell him every detail of your life like he don't know it. But at least be honest. You might not have nobody that you can entrust your heartfelt secrets to. You can tell them to God, we Psalm 91 equipped. >> We got a secret place with the most high.

We get to abide under the shadow of the almighty. We get to say unto the Lord, "Father, you're my refuge. You're my fortress. You're my God." Listen, only in you I can lean on and rely. >> You got a secret place. Don't hold it in so the devil can torment you.

You release it to God and then he'll guide you or put a person or a community in your life that you can release it and you don't have to worry about it anymore. Then God's wonderful peace that transcends human understanding will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.

Look at here. Here we go. So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and in admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind, and fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always. Let's look at that in the mirror, please.

Our thoughts are important. Our mental institutions are increasing. Don't let Satan rob your mind. Don't let him rob your thoughts. Stop listening to a liar. You don't want to listen to a lying human. Why you going to listen to a lying fallen angel? He ain't even in your class.

He got kicked out of heaven. Don't let him stare in your life talking about the devil busy. Well, he busy in your life cuz you ain't busy about the father business. You You exaltting that thing and what he did and not what uh God has done. Who am I to deny >> what the Lord has done?

Joy is not a luxury option. Joy is your constant. Say, "The joy of the Lord is my strength." >> The joy of the Lord is my >> Say it again. The joy of the Lord is >> my strength. >> One more time. The joy of the Lord is my strength.

Now say this. I am strong in the Lord. >> I am strong in the Lord. >> And in the power of his might. >> And in the power of his might. And the gates of hell >> And the gates of hell >> can no longer prevail. >> can no longer prevail. >> Because I have the keys >> Because I have the keys >> to the kingdom. >> to the kingdom. your constant your union in the Lord is your permanent source of delight.

This union, this common union that we are to have with the Lord, he says, so I might as well say it again, rejoice in the Lord always. The kind of joy empowers you to show perfect courtesy towards all people. The Lord is not nearer to some than what he is to others.

Let no anxiety about anything distract you. Here we go. Rather translate moments into prayerful worship. Soak your request in gratitude before God. And in this place of worship and gratitude, you will witness how the peace of God within you echoes the awareness of your oneness in Christ Jesus beyond the reach of any thought that could possibly unsettle you.

Just like the sentry guard secures a city, watching out in advance for the first signs of any possible threat, your deepest feelings and the tranquility of your thoughts are fully guarded there. Guard your thoughts. He said, "Let the words of my mouth, the meditation of my heart, let it be acceptable in his sight, oh Lord, my strength and my redeemer of the redeemed of you, Lord God.

Make it personal when you talking to the Lord. He is your aba. He is your big daddy God. You're an heir. We're hes unto God. Joint hes in Christ Jesus." And I didn't get this overnight. This been over years. I've been with this ministry almost 35 34 years.

And this give us Lord our daily bread. I didn't start off like this and that's still more. I thank God for every day I wake up. He said you rejoice in the Lord. You woke up. Glory to God before your feet hit the floor. To me, you can get up, wake up, give him praise.

Thank God for the parts of your body that is functioning. >> Thank God that you do have a soundness of mind. You You might not be the smartest person on this earth, but thank God you got a sound mind that you're teachable. >> Oh Jesus. to actively protect your mind, emotions, and will as they are the source of all life's actions and directions.

Emotions are a gauge, not my guide. I heard Pastor Terry say that, "Yeah, I got emotions, but I ain't going to let them lead me nowhere crazy. It's letting me know I need to make a adjustment, but I'm not going to let them rule me. It's a gauge.

Okay. What's going on? Why am I feeling like this? Why? Why this person said something? Why did it Why did it bother me? It's a gauge. But I'm not going to let it guide me till I want to go blow somebody's brains out. And I remember that one time when I was married long time ago, long long long long as I got King Jesus. >> Yeah, that long ago.

And uh it was it was an abusive situ. I wasn't born again. And so I had decided I just want to get out of my mama house. You know how you think you be grown and but you stupid anyway. And uh so it's one of them situations I had gone this when I really started paying attention to the things of God and wanted to get back in church.

And I went to my daddy's house. I still had kids to my parents' house. And so I went and got his gun. And I said, "The next time this other word I use um come at me," I said, "I'm going to kill you." See, I had that word locked in my mind.

I'd already set my mind to kill, but not think about the consequences behind it. And so I went back home. That was way. But look at the mercy of God. My daddy weren't born again at that time. I was going to church, but I wasn't born again. And my daddy already didn't like him.

He knocked on the door. He still had never ever crossed the threshold of the apartment we were living in. And my daddy stood there. He said, "Give me my gun." >> But nobody in the house when I went over there. He said, "Give me my gun. If it's that bad, I need for you to leave before I have to kill him."

So, I gave my daddy his gun and I booked. Then I thought about it. He'd have been dead, but I'd have been in jail. living and in jail but still dead. >> You see how your emotions, they give you a gauge. You need to whoop reel them in. >> Bring that imagination.

Make it subject to the mind of Christ. He said, "Be quick to hear. Hear what the Holy Spirit is going to tell you about that situation, about your feelings. Don't Don't be so quick. Uh-uh." He said, "Be still. Come on. Know that I'm God. I got you. I I knew this was coming before you did.

Give me an opportunity. I I got an answer for you, but I need for you to be still and know that I'm God. I I know this debt was coming. I know you made some crazy financial decisions, but I already knew they were coming. I already knew. I need you to be still.

I got a finance class coming up. I'm going to show you how to go through it. I'm going to show you how to get out of debt. I'm going to show you your needs of met. See, God talks. Yes. >> How you not going to hear him in you, >> but you allow other noises?

We allow the other noises to override his voice. And he ain't going to out talk nothing. He going to wait till you be still. And some you can hear him when you get caught in a corner, ain't it? He says, "I've been talking, but you won't listen." to actively protect your mind, emotions, and will as the source of all life's actions and directions.

Emotions are a gauge, not a guide. It requires vigilance, intentionality. It's like a soldier. We read that it's it's like a soldier on duty to filter what influence you have of what you're dwelling on shapes your life and your character. what you dwell on. I don't even think about how I used to be because I found a scripture that says, "Remember how you once were and the love of God appeared in this man, Christ Jesus, and he saved you. >> He cleansed you with his blood.
