What do we need to be doing as far as redeemed effort to have a prosperous soul? Now remember self effort is effort trying to do what Jesus has already done.

So we're not trying to do what Jesus has already done. Self effort is trying to finish what Jesus has already finished. We're not Our effort here is not trying to finish what Jesus has finished. Righteousness is finished. Redemption is finished. Your your prosperity and wholeness is finished. Your wholeness and sanctity that's finished.

Jesus did all that. It's a done deal. It's done. Redeemed effort is our participating in what has already been finished. It is the fact that you know, God's not you know, participating in the relationship with God is something that Jesus is not going to make you do. You lifting your hands up at church and worship him is something you you decide to do to enhance your relationship, to enhance your intimacy with the Lord.

And so I want to I want to look at four things that we can do to uh to keep our soul prospering and continue to rest in wholeness and prosperity that's already finished. How do I keep my soul prospering and rest in what's already finished? Number one. And and and I spent yesterday I I wrote the message some weeks back and I and and I was looking over and I'm like I'm looking at this and I'm thinking, okay, well hooray, soul prosperity.

And then I'm you know, the I read the scripture again he says you know, I I I pray above all things that you may prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. And the question's real clear. Well, how do I get my soul to prosper? I Prosperity's finished.

Wholeness is finished. But how How do I Well, how what do I do? I don't want you leaving church today talking about, "Well, praise the Lord. My wholeness is finished. All I got to do is keep my soul prospering." And we all kind of don't want to address the elephant in the room.

How you do that? How do we get my mind, my will, my emotions to prosper? Number one. Embrace your true identity. You're going to learn that this is the foundation for everything. Embrace your true identity. Y- you You're not what the world says you are. You're not what your past says you are.

You are what the word and what Jesus says you are. This is the foundation of a prospering soul, embracing your true identity. Your true identity. I am righteous. I am forgiven. I am complete in him. I am seated with him. That is my true identity. So when fear knocks on the door, you say that's not me.

That was the old me. I don't operate by fear. I operate by love. Okay? That's my true identity. So if when you embrace your true identity then you embrace the foundation for a prospering soul. I'm in Christ. That's my true identity. I'm in Christ. I'm righteous. I am holy.

I'm full of of the spirit of God. I am forgiven. I'm complete. I I am I am seated with him. It's my identity. My identity is the image of Christ. My identity is the image of Christ. I see myself like that. Look at 1 John chapter 4:17. My identity is the image of Christ.

My blueprint is you know, Bible says let us make man in in in our image. That's my blueprint. I've got to embrace my identity and I cannot allow life to redefine who I am. Okay? That's where it starts from. Everything that's finished with Jesus starts from your true identity.

He says here in is our love made perfect that we may have boldness or confidence in the day of judgment because as he is so are we in this world and that's all present tense. We are right now as he is right now but we happen to still be here.

And we are here as he is there and here cuz he lives on the inside of us. THAT'S WHO WE ARE. AND THERE ARE CHRISTIANS THAT STRUGGLE WITH THAT. WELL, BUT CUZ HERE'S WHAT HAPPENS. YOU are you are continuing to allow your behavior to try to define your identity.

Your identity has already been defined by God, by his word. That's who you are. He has defined and declared this is who you are. Now he's waiting on you to say, "Yes, I agree. This is who I am." All right. And then your behavior is offline. And now your behavior wants to come and condemn you and your behavior is now trying to determine your identity.

So you misbehave so your behavior is trying to say, "You're a bad person cuz you misbehave." Or or or here's the big one the devil used. You misbehave and if you do say that uh my true identity I have Jesus' identity then the enemy will come in your soul and say, "You're a hypocrite."

AND YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW IMPORTANT IT IS FOR YOU TO MAINTAIN your stance regardless of your behavior because IF YOU UH MAINTAIN your identity, your behavior will change and line up with your identity. But you can't be going back and forth with your identity. Jesus' identity today, now not too sure tomorrow.

Jesus' identity the next day, "Ah, I just ain't no good." I love what Paul did. Paul said, "I have wronged NO MAN. I'VE DEFRAUDED NO MAN." And you go back by two pages and here he is having Stephen stoned and doing all this other kind of stuff. But he knew the importance that if I'm going to be transformed, I've got to first of all embrace what God said is finished.

My identity is finished. I AM IN CHRIST JESUS, praise God. I I I look in the mirror when I see Jesus. Glory to God. I look in the mirror. I SEE MY REFLECTION WHEN I SEE HIM. As he is SO AM I RIGHT NOW IN THIS WORLD. IF THAT is not embraced, then it makes it difficult for you to embrace any of the finished works of Jesus.

That's so big. If you don't embrace your true identity, it's it it Thank God for His grace and mercy. But man, I tell you in your mind there's going to be this struggle of embracing your righteousness. Now you How you going to believe you're righteous when you don't believe your true identity?

How you going to believe How you going to believe you're forgiven and redeemed if you don't you don't receive your true identity? That's first base. I got to receive my true identity first and foremost. All right. This is who I am. This is who I am. And and and and the way I do it, the way I start, and the way I'm recommending you start is that this is an everyday thing coming out of your mouth.

This is who I am. And anytime something happens, the first thing you do, remind yourself I'm still righteous. I'm forgiven. I am seated with him. The devil hates that because all of the pressure is to try to get you to behave contrary to what you believe so that you will be tempted not to believe who you are.

That's the chess game, guys. And if you can play this chess game properly you will wake up one day and you'll find yourself walking in the manifestation and the glory of God in your life because it's flowing from that true identity. And your prosperity and your wholeness flows from that true identity.

You remember Proverbs 23:7? Here's what he said. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. How are you thinking? Because that's what the enemy wants to impact, your thinking. He wants to impact your thinking. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.

So, you are as you think you are. And I'm trying to get you to think that you are according to what God said about your identity. He's trying to get you to think you are according to your misbehaving. And so, the the basic here is as you think, then that's who you are.

A man As a man thinketh, so is he. He is How you think How you've been thinking? You still going around thinking you're that no-good-for-nothing sinner that you used to be? You you you still going around thinking, "Well, I messed this so bad. Uh ain't no way in the world God going to want to use me.

And besides, had I have been good early enough, then I'd have been farther along than where I am right now." Let me tell you something, you ain't going to never miss the mark when it comes to Jesus. I don't care how crazy you acted, you're going to still end up doing the what you're supposed to do and even sometimes better.

Somebody says, "That ain't scripture." You remember Peter? You remember Peter when he denied the Lord three times? And he went away and just kind of walked away because he was condemned because he couldn't believe he did that. And Jesus WENT AND SEARCHED PETER OUT AND SAID, "PETER, DO YOU LOVE ME?"

And then he said, "Yeah, you know, we friends." >> [laughter] >> That was a great word there that he used. He said, "Well, you know, I want you to go and feed my sheep." Yeah, you love me? Like, "Yeah, yeah, we I'm we cool." But Peter, do you love me?

He said, "Yes, Lord, you know you know we boys." And Jesus did something that blew Peter's mind. I'm going to make you fisher of men. What you was doing before was one thing, but I'm going to make you fisher of men. Don't you ever think that some failure in life is going to keep you behind and stop you from reaching the goal that God and the will that God planned for your life.

If you'll believe God, even though you failed, God will still use you greater than you would have ever thought he could use you. All you got to do is get up and keep it moving. See, some of you have a problem believing that. And you're never going to know what I'm teaching is true until you do this.

BECAUSE THERE'S THE BATTLE IN THE MIND. THERE'S EVEN A BATTLE GOING ON RIGHT NOW WHILE I'M TEACHING THIS BECAUSE SATAN'S LIKE, "I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU." DON'T LET THEM KNOW WHAT CREOLE NAILS HAD. The mind is the REAL THING. YOU WIN UP HERE, you win. But same thing's true, you lose up here, you lose.

But thank God for his grace. Thank God for his mercy. God's always going to intervene in a situation. HE'S NOT GOING TO LET YOU GO. HE'S NEVER GOING TO LET THE DEVIL JUST SWOOP IN AND just take you and steal you. There's always some mercy and grace somewhere around.

THERE'S ALWAYS SOME LOVE AND COMPASSION SOMEWHERE AROUND. GOD WILL HELP YOU TO SEE YOURSELF. God knows how to do that. You ever in a situation where you got stuck in lasciviousness and one more time becomes one more time becomes one more time? Some of y'all know what I'm talking about.

I'm going to eat this in one pie one more time. I'm going to do this cookie one more time. I'm going to go on a diet after this one more time. One more time. One more time. I'm going to do this one more time. We love talking about that.

But then get over to the other place. I'm going to look at porn one more time. I'm going to go and I'm going to have sex with this woman or man one more time. I'm going to One more time become Lasciviousness is just simply I can't find the brakes.

And then the shame comes. And Satan says, "I got him now." Shame, blame, and then the mercy comes up in the middle of all of that in a very quiet whisper. And he says, "I'm still here, son. I haven't changed the way I've always thought about you. I still love you.

I'm still for you. I'm still fighting for you. I'm not going nowhere. I'll never leave you nor forsake you. When you went to get drunk, I was there." He'll fight for you. But it's right there in that mind where you you get so condemned and so full of shame, you can't hardly hold your head up.

And that's why a lot of people stop coming to church. No, just, you know, I don't want them church folks condemning me. That's why we got to make room for the faults of others. There's no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Huh, heard you on your second divorce. >> [laughter] >> Well, if you ask me, well, didn't nobody ask you, girl?

Go and TAKE YOUR WIG OFF and go to bed and leave everybody alone. Because you're becoming a part of Satan's team to add condemnation, grief, and and all of that stuff to people. And God's not going to give up. God God will fight you. He'll fight the devil.

He'll fight everybody. But he's not willing to lose you. He will fight for you. Oh my God. How many of you know that God You're here today cuz God fought for you. Praise the Lord. >> ((applause)) >> It was hard to lift your hands up, BUT GOD FOUGHT FOR YOU.

IT WAS HARD FOR YOU TO STEP ON THIS CAMPUS, BUT GOD FOUGHT FOR YOU. IT WAS HARD FOR YOU TO STAND UP AND PRAY IN THE HOLY GHOST, BUT GOD FOUGHT FOR YOU. AND EVEN IN THE MIDDLE OF YOU PRAISING, THE DEVIL WOULD KEPT TRYING TO REMIND YOU OF WHAT YOU DID.

BUT THEN YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH UP ONE DAY AND YOU CAN SAY, "GREATER IS HE THAT IS IN ME THAN HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD. GOD [screaming] HAS FOUGHT FOR ME." >> ((cheering)) >> GET UP MY TOGETHER AND go to work and love my life. >> ((cheering)) >> Look at 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verse 23 in the mirror. 1 Thessalonians chapter 5 and uh and verse 23 in the mirror.

He said uh He said uh well, let me let me look at it in the King King James first. Uh >> [laughter] >> Oh my God. This is just God. These are so good. Oh my God, help me, Lord. Oh, I'm just thinking about I'm just thinking about God fighting for me.

Oh, hallelujah. When sickness tries to kill you, God will fight for you, boy. Hallelujah. Glory to God. When you got a gun to your head and want to blow your brains out, God will fight for you. Thank you, Lord. Hallelujah. Glory be to God. Hallelujah. And God's not good because you've been good.

God's good because God's good. And I'm in relationship with him not because I'm good. I'm in relationship with him because he's good. And if you'll get in relationship with God AND COME TO KNOW YOUR GOD, not just know about your God, then the goodness of the Lord will begin to flow into your life.

And you know you didn't deserve it. You know you didn't earn it. Huh. Oh my goodness. I'm pretty sure that he fought for everybody that's in here this morning. And I'm pretty sure he's fighting for everybody. Don't So, don't you give up. Don't you quit. Don't you submit to the lies of the devil.

Hallelujah. God's opening your eyes. You're not blind no more. You believe. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let me let me read this, man, before I start crying or something. He said, "And the very God of peace sanctify you whole." I pray your your whole spirit, your soul, your body. See, God was the only one that could fuse your spirit, soul, and body and preserve you blameless unto the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

And the next verse says that faithful is he that calleth you, and he'll do it. Now, look at this in the in the mirror translation. Listen to this, man. This thing hit me. There, away from any effort of your own, discover how the God of perfect peace, who fused you skillfully into oneness, fused you skillfully spirit, soul, and body into oneness, just like a master craftsman would dovetail carpentry joints.

That's a a a a Your dad used to be a carpenter. It was it was a tool that they they use. He has personally perfected Man. He didn't leave this to the angels. He has personally Y'all don't understand. He personally perfected and personally sanctified the entire harmony of your being of your being without He He did this up with your being WITHOUT NONE OF YOUR HELP.

He fused you together SPIRIT, SOUL, AND BODY WITHOUT NONE OF YOUR HELP. HE HAS RESTORED THE DETAILED DEFAULT SETTINGS. Y'ALL DON'T Y'ALL DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT. You know what a default SETTING IS? HE HAS RESTORED THE DEFAULT SETTINGS. HE HAS PERSONALLY RESTORED THE DEFAULT SETTING. You were rebooted. Yeah, haha.

You know WHEN YOUR PHONE START ACTING UP CRAZY and ain't nothing else working and it ain't even responding and you turn it off AND RE- >> ((applause)) >> HAS ANYBODY EVER BEEN REBOOTED BEFORE? YOU WERE REBOOTED TO FULLY PARTICIPATE IN THE LIFE OF YOUR DESIGN. IN YOUR SPIRIT, IN YOUR SOUL, IN YOUR BODY, YOU'RE REBOOTED IN BLAMELESS INNOCENCE.

In the immediate PRESENCE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. I'M TELLING YOU I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU DID, I DON'T WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU DID, I DON'T KNOW HOW IT HAPPENED, WHO IT HAPPENED AND WHEN IT HAPPENED. ALL I KNOW THIS, WE SERVE A GOD OF GRACE WHO WILL REBOOT YOU.

HEY, GLORY TO GOD. HE'LL HEY, GLORY TO GOD. >> ((cheering)) >> YEAH, HE WILL REBOOT YOU SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY. >> ((cheering)) ((cheering)) >> AND EVERY TIME HE reboot you, you love him more. And then he reboot you again, you like, I can't believe he did it that time. And then he reboot you >> [laughter] >> He re- He re- boot reboots you again.

Not reboot, but reboots you again. And you love him more. And you get to the point where you don't want to go off rail no more because you can't believe this outstanding mercy and grace that he would have the mitigated gall after you done act crazy crazy. He said, "That's all right.

This ain't working RIGHT NOW. WHAT I'M GOING TO DO IS I'M GOING TO REBOOT YOU. I FUSED YOU. I PUT YOU TOGETHER. I KNOW YOU. I DON'T NEED YOUR EFFORT. GLORY TO GOD. I'LL RE- AND YOU'LL BE READY IN THE IMMEDIATE presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. Now when you get ((music playing)) it all together, you'll immediately be ready.
