Guard your heart next week. Guard your heart. There's a lot of interesting things that are going to be happening. And uh the key to the all of this is to make sure that you guard your heart for the Bible says guard your heart for out of it flows the issues of life.
Your life itself begins to flow out of your heart. So guard your heart against distractions and and uh so today I'm going to talk to you about three specific weapons of uh that Satan uses to try to to get in your heart and you just you just don't want that to happen.
Guard your heart. Amen. So hey, welcome to the grace gang this morning everybody. It is Monday and uh it's a good day today. Praise the Lord. And uh I just pray that all is well with you and your house today in Jesus' name. And uh yeah, and so let's see who is in the house.

And uh we are jerking the slack out of religion, out of our thinking. We're renewing our mind so we can prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Now, that that's what got me that we literally can get to a place where we can prove what is that good and perfect and acceptable will of God.

Uh we want to welcome all of you and we want to declare that your life has been redeemed from destruction. That no weapon that's formed against you will prosper. Come on, let's go ahead and get our Psalms 93 confessions and just this is what we're declaring today. This is what we're echoing today.
This is what we're going to say today and we're going to stand on today. And let's say it from a heart that really believes it. You ready? Repeat after me. I will dwell in the shelter of the most high God. I will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
God is my refuge and my fortress. You are my God in whom I trust and with great confidence in whom I will rely. God will rescue me from every trap and protect me from every disease. I am covered and protected by his outstretch arms. God's faithful promises are my armor and my protection.
I will not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor of the arrows that fly in the day. I will not dread any disease that stalks in the darkness, nor any disaster that strikes at midday. Because God is my refuge and the almighty God of my home, no evil can befall me and no plague can come near my dwelling.
God has ordered his angels to guard, defend, and protect me and my house. Praise God. God's armies of heaven will keep me from falling. I will walk unharmed and kick anything that is evil from my path. Because of God's love for me, I will call upon him. He will set me above all my troubles.
He will deliver me from all my fears and he will honor me with his presence and power. I declare that he will reward me with long life and he will show me his salvation in the name of Jesus. I am Psalms 91 equipped and all is well with me in my house in Jesus name.
I live and I abide in the realm of the finished in Jesus name. All is well. Amen. Praise God. Be blessed with that today. Take that with you today. I just believe that something happens when you open your mouth up and you speak the promise of God over your life and you carry that with you.
Here's like we like to say it like this. We are Psalms 91 equipped. And that's what we just declared. We are Psalms 91 equipped. Our protection is a finished thing. Our salvation and our preservation and our wholeness is a finished thing. It's finished. It's done. It won't be undone.
Praise God. Praise the Lord. Just praise him and give him glory today. and I welcome you today. So, you know, we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers and wicked spirits in heavenly places. I I I sometime think that when things are confronting us, uh we forget that there is this spiritual world and we forget that a devil is loose.
We forget that there are forces aligned against us and they're really not interested in you you uh giving any type of glory to God or allowing the glory to God to be seen and manifested in your life. So, uh there's this distraction that'll show up. And um in this distraction, it it's really trying to move you off of what Jesus has already done.
He's he's trying to move you off of what has already been finished and what has already been settled. And so stuff happens, right? Things happen. They take place. And and and I think that it's important to to understand that. So I want to give you three weapons of Satan so you can be aware of it.
Okay, without any further ado, weapon number one, deception. Deception. Weapon number one, deception. Satan is the father of lies. Please understand that he is the father of lies. And whenever God tells us the truth and whenever you hear the truth, Satan contradicts him. All right? When you hear the truth, there's going to always be some type of contradiction to show up.
All right? God told Adam, for example, and Eve that they would surely die if they ate the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. And Satan immediately directly contradicted God and said that they wouldn't uh surely die. And so Eve believed Satan and suffered the consequences.
And I'm telling you, he still deceives many people today. And and that's my that's my battle right now is that I'm just going to keep speaking the truth. And I know the contradiction is going to come and I'm gonna keep speaking it. And I know the contradiction is going to come and I'm gonna dig in a little deeper.
And I know the contradiction is going to come and uh I'm going to continue to pray that God will allow the truth that was preached to be seen in people's lives and the the glory of the Lord will be seen in people's lives. Amen. And so that's why you and I always have to maintain a personal relationship with Jesus so that the Holy Spirit will confirm and convince us that's the truth.
That that's why we read the word of God so we will know what the word says. But you know yesterday we took the word to another level and we decided to break it down in the original language, the New Testament in Greek and we decided to decipher it.
We decided to just really go through that thing, man. And why? Why? Because I want you to know the truth. But knowing the truth won't stop Satan from showing up to try to contradict it. In fact, every truth you've ever heard, every truth you've come to know, every truth the spirit of God has spoken to your heart, Satan has done everything and is doing everything in his power to try to contradict it.
That's why we have to abide in the place of the finish. We've got to dwell in our thinking, in our mindset. We got to set our mind to finished. That what Jesus did for us is finished. He's not doing it today. It's finished. We can't dwell in the past.
We can't even dwell in the present. And we can't hardly dwell in the future. We dwell in the finished. It's already done. I I am forgiven. It's finished. He can't forgive me no more than what he already forgiven me. It's done. It's finished. it's completed and it won't be undone.
That's where we got to live. That's where we got to abide. Okay? And by abiding in something that's finished, it's like, well, yeah, the enemy will come and try to contradict it, but you know, we've already decided to live in in this place of of what's finished. And and so that's the first weapon I want you to be aware of of uh of uh the deceiver.
He is the great deceiver. And his weapons, here's one of the weapons is deception. Deception. You know, one of the things I pray pretty often is, "Lord, help me not to be deceived." You see, I don't want to walk around deceived. All right? I don't want to walk around deceived.
Um, y'all understand what I'm saying? It's like, what good is it going to do if I'm walking around deceiving myself? because, you know, I don't want to listen to nobody else. No, I I don't want to walk around deceived. So, I'm praying, Lord, don't let them be deceived.
And, you know, I trust God that that he won't allow me to be deceived. And even though people think that, you know, you are and me that that we are deceived, we that's why you have a personal relationship with God, there's something about walking with God every day, dude.
It's just like it helps you because sometimes people can be trying to, you know, be good, trying to trying to do something good for you. You know, they don't mean anything to hurt your heart. Uh but Lord, help me to be deceived. Help me not to be deceived.
I don't want to be deceived. Nobody does. Okay? But some people are deceived and they don't care. Well, I care. I don't want to be deceived because I know deception is a weapon that Satan uses u to steal truth from people. Here's the second weapon Satan uses. distraction.
And I mentioned this earlier. Let me define distraction for you. Distraction is a weapon of the enemy. It is it is it is an intrusion of your mind to try to cause confusion. I'm talking to somebody this morning. It's an intrusion of your mind to try to cause confusion.
Has the enemy been intruding on your in your mind to try to confuse you about things that that you know know without any confusion? Satan tries to sidetrack us from God's purpose for our lives. Don't let Satan sidetrack you from the purpose of your life. And and sometimes that means he'll bring he'll bring something else in your life to try to sidetrack you. you.
He might bring something in your life that you think is a blessing or and or you might think it's the will of God. It's it's designed to sidetrack you. It's designed to sidetrack you. Don't allow him to do that. God wants us to keep our eyes on Jesus, but Satan wants us to look everywhere else.
God wants us to keep our eyes on Jesus. Satan wants us to look everywhere else. Are y'all listening to me this morning? Man, this is for somebody. You know, he wants us to look on the stormy waves all around us, for example. All right. So, stormy waves, you know, this is what we're Taff and I decided today.
We're like, "Guard our heart today and don't don't get uh distracted by looking at the trouble, the stormy ways, the fusses people are having, the conflicts, the stuffs on TV, the the political disagreements. Don't don't look at those things. Those are stormy waves all around us or the or the pretty but worthless um you know, bables of the world.
Listen. Distraction. Distraction. What's around you? What's what's in front of your eyes? What's going through your ears? Even what's coming out of your mouth. Distractions. Distractions. Distractions. And distractions can be right there in your house. Distractions can be right there on at work. Distractions can be right in the middle of a conversation.
Distractions can be some something some news you heard. It's it's distraction. And I don't care where you are in this world. Beware of the weapon of distraction. Okay? See, that's why we're here, the grace game. That's why we we we we we're going to stay one up on the devil, man.
You understand? All right. And then here's the third weapon of the of the devil. Watch this. This is huge, folks. I've seen more of this lately than I've seen before. Watch this. Here's the third weapon of the devil. Discouragement. discouragement. If you have, I don't know, been walking around the house last week or this weekend just kind of feeling discouraged, you know, you feeling some kind of way, low energy, nobody likes me, everybody hates me, that's why I got to eat ice cream by myself.
Discouragement is a weapon of the enemy. Okay? Satan tries to get us to lose hope in God. He tries to get us to lose hope in God. Have you been there? Have you been there where you feel like I just, you know, I just don't have no hope?
Hopelessness is terrible. And and and it's a weapon. He wants to get you to lose hope in God. He'll use deception and distraction to try to accompass discouragement. So listen what I'm saying. He'll use deception and distraction to try to get you discouraged. And before you know it, you know, you're walking around and and and you're discouraged and you don't even know what's what's what's going on.
Deception and distraction to try to get you discouraged. Now, grace gang, we can't let this happen. Greater is he that is in us than he that is in the world. We got to focus on Jesus, man. We got to focus on the finished. Hallelujah. Uh, you know, sometimes it's good to ignore the things around you.
One of the platforms, I love this. I appreciate this. They said that doesn't mean to ignore the things around you. Just don't allow it to consume you. No, there's certain things I ignore. There's certain things I ignore. Like I I ignore the news. I don't want that stuff in my head because it works like a seed.
All right. Now, there's certain things that happen around you you have to deal with, but you deal with it trusting God, and you don't want to get consumed with it. But then there are certain things, I mean, that that sounds real, you know, nice and sweet. Well, you know, you don't you don't want to ignore the things around you.
You just don't want to be consumed about them. Now, there you I get what you're saying. There's certain things, you know, you got to deal with, but not where somebody gossiping about something. I don't want to hear that. or not where you know I'm so stressed out over the debates that are on television.
I don't want to hear that. Or or not where somebody's slandering you. I don't want to hear that. Or not where someone is just trying to discourage you. I don't want to hear that. And then and then mainly I don't want to sit all day long and listen to the devil.
I don't want to sit there and and keep my mouth closed and let the devil keep talking to me. Now this is one of the things you have to deal with. One of the things you have to deal with is if the devil's talking, tell him shut up.
You know, if he says one thing, you open your mouth and you say the word of God. If he says you're going to die, you say, "I will live and not die." So, uh I I I I I understand what what this individual was saying. Yeah, you got to deal with it.
You got to look at it, but at the same time, you got to get yourself to a place where you build boundaries. And it's like, I'm building a boundary. I don't even want to go there with this thing. Now, when certain things show up, absolutely, you deal with it according to the word.
You deal with it with the word. You deal with it with the Holy Spirit. You know, uh you don't ignore it, but neither do you allow it to consume you. So, absolutely. I thought that was a excellent comment that brings about great conversation to build boundaries because you know that comment to me is like saying dude you know we live every day and stuff going to happen every day so you just can't ignore those things you know you can't ignore that the bill needs to be paid you can't ignore that the kids are going through things things things and you need God to speak to you to do that I get that wholeheartly thank you and I'm so excited because that got me so stirred up because I love hearing comments that challenge us to apply the word of God in our everyday living to do that.
So, I thought I hope I bought some balance to that as well. Um, and that that really helped you. So, thank you for that. And but also the the distraction and the deception together trying to discourage you. And you know what? In this world, you're going to have trouble.
In this world, you're going to have tribulation. Watch how the watch how you respond. But be of good cheer. So, you're not going to be consumed by the trouble. You're not gonna be consumed by the tribulation, but be of good cheer. Uh, but again, what I was saying was, if you know that you're getting ready to walk in the trap, don't walk in no trap.
You You already know some of the stuff you need to ignore. You know what I'm saying? Some of the stuff you know already. Yeah. I just need to ignore that. I don't I don't even want to listen to that. I don't even want I'm gonna just close myself.
I'm build boundaries against that kind of thing. So, great great stuff. Love it. Love it. So if he can somehow foster doubts in your mind, all right, about who God is, this is what the enemy does, dude. How is he? He's going to try to foster doubt in your mind to whom God is, especially where his power is concerned and his unconditional love is concerned.
That's what the enemy will do. How do I get you to doubt God? You know, something happens in your life and you say, "Well, I just don't know if God loves me." something happens in your life and you start doubting God. You know, why didn't that happen? All of it's based in fear.
Doubt is based in fear. And the number one fear of the devil is to get you to be afraid that what God promised you won't come to pass. Yeah. So, I'm going to I'm going to discourage you. That's what the devil says. I'm going to discourage you and get you to to doubt God, to doubt God's promise, to doubt God's uh love for you, to go to doubt God's presence in your life.
And that's where you have to withstand and fight against him. You know God loves you. You know there's no way that God can't do nothing but love you. You know his promises are real. You know all these things. And you got to you got to respond. Yesterday I used a Greek word for have called echo.
Uh well Greek word is not echo but it's translated in English echo. Right? And so Jesus said something to these guys. You remember when they were in the uh great storm and Jesus came and calmed the storm and he says why is it that you have no faith?
Well the Greek says it like this. The Greek says it like this. He says, "Why is it that you echo no faith?" Wow. So, in the time of trouble, your weapon is your mouth filled with the promises of God, flowing out of your heart. Hallelujah. You don't you flowing out of your heart, flowing out of the faith that God has given you.
Uh man, I'm telling you, uh why is it that you echo no faith? I mean, so right in the midst of your attacks, in the midst of distraction, deception, and discouragement, that's when we need to hear the echo of of of faith. The echo of faith. Oh my gosh.
Praise the Lord. Woo, that was fun. I really enjoyed that. And I really pray that you can use uh what I just shared with you to start your week off. Use this stuff. Do not give the devil an inch. Okay? Don't give him an inch. Use the things that um that we're sharing with you right now.
Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. and share this with somebody, right? Uh, praise God. God is getting ready to do some stuff, man. God is getting ready to make some things happen in your life. And, um, I just believe that something good is going to happen to you today, to you this week.
So, let's get ready to grab it. Let's start expecting it. live this week like an ostrich nick that stuck out and you're expecting something. I am. I'm living in the realm of the finish. I'm expecting something today. Praise the Lord. I'm expecting something. And uh God's good, man.
Anyway, guys, I love y'all big time. Love you so much. Um still got a lot more studying to do. I still believe that God will speak to me with simplicity and understanding and help me to articulate things in a easy way to understand so people can follow it.
And yeah, man, I challenge myself sometimes, you know. I'm like, man, you know, I I I was writing notes on the sermon on the side. I was like, I don't believe this yet. I need to study some more. I don't think I want to say that right now cuz I don't see how that do that.
And then by the time I finish studying, well, I see it a whole lot better. And that's what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to bring people into this place where if we say we live by the Bible and the word of God, man, we sure better get this thing right.
We sure better study it in content context and let the context really define what it's saying. So, I love y'all. I know I didn't say it one time, but it's going to be a great joy to be able to I got to figure out something where at least we can get together one time in every area and uh see the grace gang, man.
Anyway guys, uh I will see y'all on tomorrow and um I believe that all is
