uh we're going to have fun and um we've already danced a little bit but we're going to continue just to give honor and uh we have four kids so we've dedicated them all back to the Lord and when you have too too many um you you say God you you need to sort this so uh really tonight we're just dedicating all that God has done and we're saying God use this we're giving this back to you use this house For Your Glory use this house to heal your people use this house to feed people use this house to raise children use this house to place the lonely in families so God we're just so grateful that we get to gather together and to worship to dance we're going to hear from some amazing communicators but we're just basically saying it's yours right and what a freeing thing to to to not feel like we have to control all the narratives so God you know how much we paid for this and how much we financed it in Jesus name it's yours it's your bill I'm just going to say this but we're excited uh that you're here and uh I'm just I look at so many people that have gotten us here um and we'll honor people later but um literally we would not be here without our parents figuratively our parents are here tonight but we stand on many shoulders tonight and uh there's so many people that we could honor friends and family our serve team is here but it's a night to celebrate and say look we're going to celebrate tonight it was really cool I got a text from somebody in the church that can't make it tonight because him and his wife are about to have their fourth baby uh hopefully tonight in the name of Jesus clap for this amazing couple in our church she was due on Thursday so we're really praying the baby comes tonight and he he text me he said um I'm so sorry I can't make it tonight um I'm so proud of what you've built and I wrote back and I said no I didn't build anything I said together we cuz he's a kingdom builder in our church I said to together we built some by the grace of God and so tonight we really want to just acknowledge it's the grace of God by the grace of God We Are Who We Are by the grace of God we are where we are come on clap let's let's tonight let's get vertical let's give glory and honor to God let's give Thanksgiving and praise come on let's worship the one that was the one that is come on anybody believe in the one that is to come I say tonight we great friends that're going to kick off the night we're calling our first section of the night the RS and we've got Richard Robert Robbie and Randolph kicking things off we have Rich Wilkerson Jr your power we want your glory we want your face we want your heart God would you give us your heart your heart for people your heart for the world your heart for the Nations your heart for our family your heart for the city we just want you and we want what you want and want to go where you want us to go God you can have all of us in the name of Jesus would you capture our hearts would you capture this moment would you capture this church would it be on fire for you in the name of Jesus open up the very blood Gates of Heaven and pour out your spirit like we've never known oh God we want you Jesus more than anything else more than anything else we just want you we just want you cuz better is one day in your courts than a thousand any ((music playing)) place we'd rather be a doorkeeper here oh ((music playing)) God we just want you so we set this time aside God we set our hearts aside we set this evening aside we thank you that you're smiling down on us you're so good you're so faithful you're so gracious you're so kind and we love you with all of our hearts in Jesus name we pray amen and amen can we give God praise and glory and honor come on a big one just just for 5 before you see the high five high five them high five them high five them high five them I only have uh we have just a couple of minutes as uh fellow co co laborers in the gospel uh together and I'm I'm just honored uh to be in this room to be on this platform uh to stand in front of all of you we know God has done all of this we know he gets all the glory for sure but we are so thankful for leaders like Chad and Julia pastors Chad and Julia who would say yes who live and lead with such excellence and humility your boys are awesome your daughters beautiful and we honor you uh every Pastor that's in from out of town uh so glad you are here all the people who are part of zway church thank you we'll be gone and y'all will still be here grinding and serving and loving people so to the amazing serve team and church family of Zoe we honor you and say thank you for your faithfulness the way you have stood by your pastors and helped carry this Vision it does not happen without beautiful people like you so thank you for your yes it really matters more than you can ever possibly imagine Pastor Chad said it so well earlier this is not a he and Julia party here this is not a v thing this is a Jesus thing and it's also a we thing it's all of us coming together so thank you for the part that you played yeah you can clap your hands for sure I I've only got a couple minutes I want to read this verse of scripture cuz I can honor y'all all night I mean I just love you guys so so much and I'm I'm going to honor my time too just so you know I'm I'm not going to mess up my brothers you know when somebody preaches for for 48 minutes in front of you and you're like okay thank you you left nothing for me to do I did have a scripture though I did have a scripture ((music playing)) Acts chapter n and uh I was praying and knew it have just these couple of moments and this is what J God I felt dropped on my heart for this beautiful church family Zoe and and your pastors um in Damascus there was a disciple named ananas the Lord called to him in a vision ananas yes Lord he answered the Lord told him go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul he is for he is praying in a vision he has seen a man named ananas come and place his hands on him to restore his sight Lord ananas answered I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your holy people in Jerusalem and he has come here with authority from the chief priest to arrest all who call on your name but the Lord said to ananas go this man is My Chosen instrument to Proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel I will show him how much he must suffer for my name verse 17 then ananas went to the house and entered it placing his hands on Saul he said brother Saul the Lord Jesus who appeared to you on the the road as you were coming here has sent me for two reasons he sent me so that you may see again and he sent me so you may be filled with the Holy Spirit and I when I was praying for you and this church family and if I was going to be really Pentecostal it would be ananas anointing that this would be a house where people would see again and people would be filled with the holy spirit that individuals would come into this house and they'd be blinded by sin separated from God maybe distorted in their Vision not understanding why they were even born or the purpose that God has for them and they would come into contact with a house like Zoe and they would come through these wall these doors or they would even be online they would interact with the Zs team and they would they would come in contact and rub up against people and before they knew it they were seeing again but it wasn't just enough for them to get saved we I saw them being filled with the Holy Spirit empowered to be the church in the world and to declare the goodness and the power of God in their generation the thing I love about ananas is God could trust him with someone who was going to influence the world ananas maybe did not have the ministry that was worldwide but ananias ministered to the one that ministered to the world and I feel that anointing and that calling is all over this church May every person that walks through the doors see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit love you all so much love you Joy Church Pastor Robie love you Pastor ((music playing)) Robbie wow Randolph ((music playing)) wow you know I was thinking tonight um about sitting in the floor in that hotel I think it was in Santa Monica and uh then few weeks ago I was here for the first Sunday and to see what God has done is truly overwhelming and I love you so much I love you with all my heart and I'm thankful for your family what you mean to me it's everything so thank you for asking me to do this this is ((music playing)) weird I have to follow Earl thanks um I was thinking today about uh I've been studying uh leus it's a weird book to be in but I'm a weird person um in Leviticus chap 6 uh God is giving out the instructions for the fire that is to burn on the Altar and he says that that fire is supposed to burn continuously to never go out but what's amazing about that is in Leviticus chapter 9 the priests start to perform their duties and the fire that is to burn on the altar actually comes out of the presence of God they didn't have to start it God started it aren't you thankful that God is the initiator and we know that God started this but what's interesting is maintaining it or stewarding it is on us God starts it he asks us to Steward it like Paul told Timothy he said fan the flame stir the gift a blaze um I was thinking about fire and what's interesting about fire is that when firefighters are fighting fires they they do something called a backfire what that means is they see where the fire is progressing and they go out in front of the fire and they start a fire and they burn off any of the things that are in the land that are flammable so that when the fire reaches that everything that's available to burn has already been burned and I was thinking and I was praying today and I was thinking God would you set a backfire in this place so that anytime the enemy comes and he rages against the people of God that there would be such a fire in this place that when the fires of the world try to consume us we've already been consumed by another and I wonder if you could give God a praise tonight that the fire of God is in this room and he's setting Hearts Ablaze and a city is going to be transformed by the glory of God so God In The Name of Jesus you God who are a consuming fire we ask now that the fire of God would burn not just for a moment but the fire of God would burn from generation to generation that we would see this place decade after decade after decade lives being transformed and changed for the glory of God and we thank you that you're doing it we thank you that you're started you started it we thank you that you'll finish it but God thank you that you've given us this honor to Steward the fire of God in this place in Jesus name we pray and everybody said amen anybody believe God's going to send the Fire come on give God some praise if you believe it tonight woo I tell you it is an absolute honor and a privilege to be one of the RS tonight to share this stage with my brothers and to celebrate the incredible faithfulness the incredible STI intuitiveness of Pastor Chad and Julia Vach and all those who serve here at Zoe who for nine years been plowing for nine years you've been standing at the Gateway of Hell redirecting traffic and uh I remember I remember I'm I'm just having a moment today I remember being at a conference in London and I remember Pastor Chad coming up to me and saying Robert guess what you know how Pastor Chad is yo I'm already excited about what he about to say before he's here he's like we're doing it we're moving to LA we're going to plant Zoe church I remember that I remember the launch service at 10 club and to think that God could take you from one Club all the way to Holland Park to think that God can transform a Buddhist temple into a house of Glory only God can do this and I just got one verse tonight and I was like Lord come on you know Pastor Earl going to come with something good and Richie's going to tear it up and Robbie's and Leviticus you just going to give me one verse to sh but you confirm my verse when you opened up the night and it's in Psalm 127 verse number one and it says unless the Lord builds a house the builders labor in vain unless the Lord watches over a city the guards stand watching vain but that's not my favorite version my favorite version says is unless the Lord builds zoa Church the builders labor in vain unless the Lord watches over La the guards stand watch in vain can I just prophetically declare this over this house the builders and the Watchers are coming they're already here but God is sending more for what he wants to do here and often we shout about God building something but we forget how God build builds God builds the same way this building was built he's an architect he designs the plans and then he trusts somebody to actually carry out the vision that was always in his heart and I just want to say thank you to all of you who've picked up a hammer and have continued to Faithfully build come on from lray to million dooll theater to the high school to here and can I just declare this is only the beginning God is going to fill this place with his glory god is going to continue to start a Revival right here in Los Angeles so come on Father we thank you we dedicate every square foot of this place to your glory I thank you that the Lost will be found I thank you that those who are depressed will find Joy I thank you that those God who aren't saved will come to the saving knowledge of who you are in this house as they continue to build and as they continue to stand watch over what you have so Faithfully drawn out get the glory in this place in Jesus name come on everybody say it amen amen God bless ((music playing)) ((applause)) y'all amen hey this is um so so special tonight and uh we're so thankful that all of you would be here in attendance it means a great deal to all of us so many people that serve and Faithfully build of course so many of our friends friends and pastors Heroes of the faith honestly in this room and we wouldn't be here without us standing on your shoulders and you given us a vision and we're so grateful and I know maybe you're here you're like this is a lot people are kind of emotional it's important because your faith suffers when you forget and the reason why a lot of us are emotional is because we just remember how this thing began and if we haven't met before my name is Rich and uh I am proud to be Chad V's best friend and uh and Julia's best friend these are these are two of the finest people that I've ever met in my entire life and uh Ian bound said it this way he said the church keeps looking for a method but God is looking for a man and I really believe that this is God's man and this is God's woman and for me there is no church that I'm more connected to than Zoe church because uh we started around the same time uh we just celebrated both of us our churches nine years can we just thank God for nine years of his ((music playing)) faithfulness I'm one of those kind of people I like the Bible and we like numerology and all this stuff and what is the significance of nine nine is the number of the Holy Spirit and I really believe that this year you're about to see a fresh outpouring of the holy spirit in this room and in this place like you have never seen before that when the spirit comes upon you you will receive power Dynamo is the word it's dynamite power that this thing is about to explode like you could never ever dream and it was at the ninth hour that Christ Cried Out iloa hila Lama Sabaka my God my God why have you forsaken me and what looked like the worst day was actually the best day because Christ was forsaken so that you and I could be forgiven anybody thankful for the cross of Jesus ((music playing)) Christ and Chad just asked us to give a verse and I don't really have a verse I sort of have more of this story found in Luke Chapter 7 and tonight I'm putting you guys into the story but it's the story of the Widow at name the Bible says that Jesus and his disciples they start heading to this town called Na and as they're making their way into na there is another crowd that's leaving the town it's a funeral procession and I had this picture in my mind of Chad and Julia packing up their bags 10 years ago with little Georgia and Winston and saying we're going to go into a town called LA and unoun to them there was a funeral a great funeral coming out there was people weeping there was people crying but praise God Jesus is on the way I just saw this picture as Jesus he looks at this woman this woman doesn't even cry out for help which is sort of a theological conundrum because it reminds all of us once again that God's love for us outweighs our faith in him that even we don't have the words and we don't have the strength we serve a gracious and a merciful god that he comes and he does the possible and his heart full of compassion he looks at the woman says don't cry and he tells that boy he says get up she doesn't ask for the miracle she doesn't praise God for the miracle but rather Jesus in his nature his heartbroken for this town for this woman and everything you're seeing tonight yeah it costs money but let me just tell you love built this place compassion built this place a broken heart built this place conviction built this place the Bible says that Jesus looks at this boy he says Get Up and instantly the boy got up the Bible says they all began to Praise Jesus and then the message translation says it this way Eugene Peterson says they all realized they were in a place of holy mystery tonight if we're kind of talking soft and kind of going slow a little bit it's because those of us who have been on this ride those of us who've been in the Caravan of Chad and Julia V in the Zoe Church story we're all kind of standing back going yo this is mysterious this is sort of unexplainable this is kind of wild this is kind of crazy and then Eugene puts it this way he says they all realized they were in a place of holy mystery and then they were quietly worshipful and then they were noisily grateful and I don't know pastors and leaders if I could give you a better prescription or a description of what our services ought to look like but we've all been in those moments when God shows up and there's these moments where we're kind of going we're quiet and we're Whispering God is here God is here and then somehow we start getting loud and we start getting grateful and we start shouting God is working I don't know who I'm preaching to tonight you might not be exactly where you want to be but anybody thankful you're not where you used to be that God has worked a miracle in your life and excuse me if I go down memory lane a little bit man when you guys moved to LA it was a little bit like God God is here man I remember I went and did a backyard leadership meeting I got to the backyard there was a 100 people in Chad's backyard I'm like I don't even know this is what people did bro he's like yeah we're starting a church I'm like y'all don't have a vent he's like no no but we're like God is here God is here and I remember I got the call yo we found a place it's Yale Street and we went to a service we all went God is working and Bob McGregor was there and he started prophesying over us he had me stand up and prophesy I was crying we hadn't even started our church yet there was a shout on the inside of us and then we went through this long lall of where are we going to meet where are we going to gather where we going to worship and then we got the news we're going to start this church at the one Oak nightclub come on somebody give God some praise in this place we're bringing Jesus to the nightclub God is working until the next day we broke all the attendance records and on the Monday of our great celebration we got a call you can't ever meet here ever again the night before Chad had gotten up and said this place where they do drugs is now going to be the place we're going to preach the gospel all we could do is say God is here God is here God is here God is here we wouldn't found ourselves a little theater called lray theater come on how many youall know God is working at the LR theater I'm telling you what we saw story after Story of people's lives changed and we would end Services night after night and there was just this overwhelming feeling of just being quietly worshipful God's doing something in this city we didn't see all of this yet we didn't know all of you would be here we had no idea what God had in store then this thing called 2020 happened we're all like okay I think God is here some people never found God again after 2020 we found ourselves at the bankr high school and God is working God is working and tonight when I walked into this place at the first sound of the song as we begin to lift our hands I had to go over to the corner a little bit and I had to do my own little Pentecostal praise dance because I can't help it this is mysterious God is working and I prophesy and I Proclaim that this place right here it will be a mystery to the city of Los Angeles the deaf will hear the blind will see the lame will walk those that are lost will be found right here in this room those that are dead they will live again in Christ get up get up Los Angeles The Best Is Yet To Come there's more in store we haven't seen anything yet no eye has seen and no ear has heard what God has in store for Zoe church if you believe it give God a standing ovation tonight Hallelujah come on let's worship Jesus in this place all this world and I don't want anyone else come on I don't need into the building and then I kept saying I can't wait for the god moments that are going to transpire here and tonight is filled with a bunch of God moments where you can sense God speaking and sense God moving and sense God healing and anybody grateful for what God is already doing tonight in this place amen there's more there's more to come in in in just a minute I'm going to invite Pastor Judah to come and and speak as well but why don't you just take a seat right where you're at there's a few there's just a couple of friends that weren't able to make it uh this evening they weren't able to Church man congratulations I love that you guys are in your first building your first own building but man you guys are faithful and we just celebrate what God is doing you know this Zoe but you have some amazing leaders Pastor Chad and Julia they're they're one of a kind they love you Chad is so funny he always makes me laugh and he just is it's full of Faith he loves God and he loves people and we just celebrate that the the favor on your life getting a building there where you guys are that's difficult but that's the hand of God that's his favor honoring all your all your faithfulness and and you guys all your sacrifices I know so many of you have given and stood behind the ministry and that's just awesome so we celebrate it and I can't wait to see what God's going to do you know I agree with everything that Joel said it's the faithfulness it's the sewing it's the commitment it's being there day in and day out and so we do want to congratulate you and you deserve this and I believe it's just the beginning of many many great things that God is going to continue to do in your ministry Chad and Julia we love you guys your family is so beautiful and the church I am so grateful that you stand behind pastors of Integrity pastors that want to see you grow that want to see you succeed that want to see you do your very best so I just can't wait like Joel said to see thank you sir for your life your ministry I asked Pastor Brian in the back what do you do at a building dedication and I said how many of these have you done he goes I don't even know how many but just want to say sir you have so impacted our church Our Lives we honor you we thank God for you and just as the video said The Best Is Yet To Come we thank God for who you are and thank you for being here tonight um tonight I'm really excited and um I really wanted to honor Pastor Judah because he started our church and um I'll never forget sitting down with him at um a breakfast spot in Belleview Washington and telling him outside of Julia is the first person I said I feel like it's time for us to move to LA and and start this church and he said let's go it's on yes this is God this is good and um and I was like really and he's like yeah let's go okay then let's do it and um he's just always to me been the most generous person he's been the most faithfield person he's a brother to me he's always been my favorite preacher and uh at Zoe he's a hero because we wouldn't be here without him and I want to give him honor I want to thank God for his life and his leadership come on can you put your hands together and welcome Pastor come on y'all stand to your feet y'all going to give honor tonight where it's ((applause)) du thank you so much you can be seated it's an honor to be here is Chad's true best ((music playing)) friend it was just recent Chad and I sat down to discuss Pastor Rich and their relationship and uh he confided in me at that point that you guys had fallen on tough times um and that we had really connected recently I'm kidding I'm kidding but Julia Julia is my best friend I love I love you Julia uh Julia and I grew up together uh this is family tonight I mean I'm I'm overwhelmed like I could spend the next several minutes just saying hi to family members and loved ones I love you so much I already said hi to to the Bishop Pastor Brian my cousin Mark francy's here Jolie's here Aiden's here Pastor Bob McGregor who was my sister's youth pastor I've known Pastor Bob well before I was born frankly um now that I think about about it he's also my best friend and uh just see if I can find some more best friends um Jason Kennedy's here from E News um he's like sh start doing that you know oh man what an honor um I love you guys so much so uh for the next 45 minutes I just want to share my heart that's not going to happen um I love you guys are you are you are you well you're doing good you look you look amazing and I I love Chad and Julia the most and uh I I am blown away by this man's faith and This Woman's Faith um my favorite part of them is The Offspring that they have produced these beautiful beautiful beautiful humans who love life and love Jesus and love living and I mean the exuberance of the beach family is categorically contagious it's just what it is and Chad's one of those Chad and Julie are one of those rare couples that they could do it without Jesus but they chose not to they're Charis they're so charismatic they could just kind of we would just follow them just for their energy um but instead have decided to to sacrifice everything and I had the privilege of sitting there in private moments and seeing the commitment that this couple we making to come to one of the great cities of the world um and I just want to say thank you you know and I think all of our all of your friends all of your best friends uh we're trying to tell you thank you thank you uh this is no small thing um and these are fun moments you know when the walls are painted and the big screen this is a I I mean this screen is gorgeous I'm like this is amazing um you know but but so many of you in this room you know it's why you're here cuz you were you were there with this couple and watching them and praying with them and um the tears the laughter The Joy the prayers the messages the sermons um so faithful so consistent I love you both very very much uh you had to put up with me for the rest of your life I'm not going anywhere um but you know you can't you can't be asked to speak a few minutes at at the zoee church building dedication and not quote John 10:10 um because that's like you know like if you're familiar with the original language like I am um it's not a problem I'll fill you in but uh bit of a scholar but um no John 1010 uses the word Zoe that's the name of your wonderful church and Zoe of course is is life as you know and it's this idea of abundance life Abundant Life and John 10 is John 1010 is one of like the M quoted verses of all time because it's taken out of context and we say all the time the thief doesn't come to steal kill and D the thief comes to steal kill and destroy but but but but but the Good Shepherd Jesus comes to give life and life more abundantly but but the context of John 10:10 is wild to me and I just want to put it into your mind and your soul because I think it's already true of what's Happening Here John 10:10 starts with this idea of Jesus saying I'm a I'm a really good shepherd which was a a really odd thing to say of course in those times an interesting practice for me when you're reading your Bible is always to ask not what you hear but what would the audience in that moment have heard heard cuz that's what Jesus is trying to say and in ancient time of course if Shepherds were were Outlaws and outcasts and parias and meaning like if you were in an ancient Village and you did something uncool or taboo they'd send you out with the sheep for the day you'd come back to the village and you wouldn't have a bell around your neck you'd have the smell of sheep which would function like a bell around your neck to tell everybody in the village you're an idiot and the smell of sheep would let them know you did something dumb be like yo bro and they would smell you before they see you smell you before they knew your story you would be like yo what' you do I don't know the bar I had too much to drink they put me out with the sheep for the day and all right well don't do that again and the and the smell would linger and we would know you did something odd and so Jesus says I'm a good shepherd and everyone's like you're a good Outlaw you're a good Pariah he's like I'm a Good Shepherd but there are other Shepherds and and here's what I'm saying John 10:10 whole context is actually leadership Zoe life is facilitated through leadership it really is Jesus says listen I'm a good shepherd He said but then there are thieves and robbers and they climb over the wall but they don't care for the Sheep he said but you know that I'm the Good Shepherd because the gatekeeper I.E John the Baptist and the Holy Spirit is a lot of interpretation in John 10:10 the the the gate the gatekeeper knew that I'm him and so he opened opens the door to me and the Sheep also know we can trust this guy make no mistake in these unsettling times where leadership is tough to depend on and tough tough to trust and people don't know who to trust I believe consequently I believe fundamentally that God put something in human beings that somehow will find a way to know where there is a leader that can be trusted and they will be drawn to that place I really believe that I really believe that or I wouldn't still be in leadership and so I bring Good Tidings of great joy that John 10:10 is about a good shepherd and boy is he good oh man is he good so he he says um he says there's these thieves now again context he's actually talking the thief there is not necessarily the devil it's actually self-serving manipulative leaders who were at the time leading in the synagogue and he said they're they're in this for the money they're in this for the recognition I'm in this for the Sheep I'm a good Outlaw I'm a good Outcast I'm a good Pariah you're going to smell the sheep on me cuz I'm with the people The Good the Bad and the Ugly I'm with the people and then in that context he says so you're going to have I'm I'm going to bring you life and life more abundantly and he says do you know what John 10:11 says it literally says I'm the Good Shepherd why here's the ultimate proof I lay down my life for the sheep and I just want to say about Zoe church that you can't you can't be into the word Zoe and not be into Good Shepherd and I got really really good news because God named this church the right name because the most famous Zoe verse in the whole Bible said out of the mouth of Jesus Christ from Nazareth is literally in the context of good Shepherds and bad Shepherds true leaders and false leaders loving leaders and manipulative leaders and guess what God gave Zoe Church good leaders selfless leaders sacrificing leaders consistent leaders faithful leaders and I got good news the gatekeeper knows they're the shepherd he'll let him in and the Sheep are going to know you can trust these leaders you can trust these leaders you can trust these leaders and I'm going to read one more scripture share the shortest sermon I've shared in all of my 40s this is it and you just stay standing you wonderful people thank you for coming out here on a Monday night that's so cool I'm I'm just talking to Zoe some of us pastors you know what I mean like we're best friends so we had to be here but like Zoe people I'm looking at you man Monday night who in the world are you to come out here on a Monday night and celebrate what God has built and God has done you are wonderful extraordinary people and I love you he says I'm the Good Shepherd cuz I lay down my life for the Sheep but the workers who serve only for wages they're not real Shepherds because they have no heart for the sheep and they'll run away abandon them when the wolf you know starts coming and the Wolf mauls the Sheep drags them off and scatters them I alone am the Good Shepherd I know those whose hearts are mine for they recognize me and know me just as my father knows my heart and I know my father's heart I'm ready to give my life for the sheep and I want to prophesy over this to you Julia and Chad Jesus says and these are just beautiful words and I just want us to sink in them just in for seconds just for seconds just for seconds John 106 I have other sheep that I will gather which are not of this Jewish flock cuz I am their Shepherd and I must lead them too and they will follow me and listen to my voice and I will join them someday into one flock with one Shepherd and the truth is Friends whether you know this or not we are a part of a lineage and for those of you that are Jewish we thank you for most of us in this room and I don't mean to make assumptions but let me just do it we are Gentiles we are John 10:16 and in so many ways we are here under the impetus of the words of Jesus who said I need to spread Zoey life I need to spread it and I'm going to spread it with my spirit and I'm building a flock I'm building a family and there's going to be Gates and there's going to be boundaries and there's there's going to be Thieves and there's going to be liars and there's going to be manipulators and there's going to be breakdown but I I have other sheep Chad and I have other sheep Julia that I want to gather through you I'm their Shepherd Jesus says and I must lead them too so that they may follow me and listen to my voice and when the time comes I will join them together with one flock for the father has an intense love for me because I freely give my own life to raise it up I Surrender my own life and no one has the power to take my life I have the authority to lay it down and power to take it back again this is the destiny of my father who has set before me and I declare over you on this unique and special and sacred and precious night that this is your destiny that's what you're standing in you're standing in your destiny I know it's a lot of people's Destinies but I know for sure it's your destiny this is what God destined you to do and there is yet more sheep to add to the flock and you sir are a good shepherd and you ma'am are a good shepherd and in front of everyone we want to thank you for your integrity your diligence your faithfulness your godliness your Purity your honor your respect your deference your compassion your empathy and your mercy and so we declare that this house will smell like sheep this house will smell like Outlaws and outliers and parias this house will be a house where the Brokenhearted find Refuge this will be a house where the hurting Lord where the margin alized and overlooked Find meaning and priority and value and significance we declare that this house will stand like a beacon of light and Hope on a top of a hill that cannot be hidden we declare that not only will this street begin to prosper and be blessed but Highland Park will prosper and be blessed even as your people and your house and your congregation are blessed you oh Good Shepherd of the whole earth you yet have more sheep to put in your herd and so we say yes to your plan and yes to your will and you will commission this Shepherd and you will commission this leader to go this way and that way and that Highway and that Hillside and that neighborhood and you will extend and expand their borders beyond that which they've even asked for Thought or imagined possible so we say oh good shepherd lead the way for we are honored to be in your are heard you are good and you are faithful and you are true and we declare over this house safety and protection that a hedge of protection will rest over this house will rest over the people of this congregation and they will prosper and be in health even as their soul prospers God you will put a Haven around this place you will put a security around this place a protection they'll be a sense of your hand on this place that even when people walk through the door they will say to themselves I don't I don't know what that is but I never felt that before and in just a matter of minutes and moments they'll know that what they feel is the presence of the Good Shepherd and here they are safe and they can find pasture we declare that in Jesus name oh good shepherd you have come to give life and life more abundantly we declare that over your house in jesus' name amen amen ((music playing)) oh we worship you Jesus I was pretty cool I was looking at my son my six-year-old worship that's his first grade teacher sarapo leading us tonight tomorrow morning she's going to be teaching but tonight she's leading us into close our service here uh shortly just uh one more thing I want to invite uh Pastor Travis Green up real fast Pastor Travis Green is in the building and I'm not inviting him so he can sing Alpha and preachers of America send their love Bishop Jake and Michael Todd and I'm Chad's best black friend and I'm proud of that watch out Rob and Randolph Ravis is here let me share uh scripture with you real quick second Kings chapter 6 um verse 13 I'm going read just a few verses and I'm going share um this quick thought go find out where he is the king ordered so I can send men and captur him the report came back he is in Dothan Alabama then he sent horses and chariots and a strong force there they went by night and surrounded the city when the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning an army of horses and chariots had surrounded the city and the servant was like me it was a punk he said oh no my Lord Lord what shall we do I love the prophet swag watch him he said don't be afraid those who are with us are more than those who are with them but now my favorite part is the prayer you praise he prays a prayer not about the situation but a prayer for the servant that's my prayer for this church open his eyes Lord so that he may see that and the Lord opened the servant's eyes and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and Chariots of Fire all around Elisha quick thought I want us to prepare in our hearts uh what I want to call uh seed of vision we're sewing for vision um all the pastors are preparing even now a $100,000 seed and we thank them but this this text is so cool because the the Bible says that the king sends a strong force to surround the city and the strength of the force against you is an indication of the strength of the force fighting in you and for you and they surround the city when I always read this I thought they surrounded his house that's not what the Bible says so they surround the city city name is Dothan and so because I have a masters in theology I went to chat GPT and I said well how big is Dothan and I found out Dothan was 25 acres and so I said well how many soldiers and chariots would it take to surround 25 acres and chat said no one's ever asked me that before it would take about 1,500 men and about 150 chariots to surround this city well no wonder the servant was peeing in his pants it's a lot of people and yet Elisha was unshaken because he had Vision watch this that he had shown for so you can't just read the Bible you got to read the Bible and if you read the Bible you'll understand that Elisha has served under Elijah for about 10 years theologians Bel it's a long time to wait patiently for your turn and the Bible says in 2 Kings chapter 2 that the angels of fire and chariots come down from heaven and Whirlwind and picks Elijah up when he picks him up his man mantle Falls and I never caught this until like this past week that before he picked up the mantle for double portion the Bible says he tore his robe he tore His Garment ain't that powerful now we know traditionally they would tear their garments whenever they were mourning that's what David did when he found that King Saul was dead but I think it had another meaning Not only was he tearing it in mourning he was tearing it to make room for double because the Harvest of receiving comes from the seed of releasing and maybe today the Lord wants you to tear some things to rid yourself for some things to shed some things in order to sow for vision now watch this he goes up in the Whirlwind and Elisha cries out my father my father the horses and Chariots of Israel and so when he walks out at Dothan it's not his first time seeing horses and chariots because he sold for vision now my prayer today is that we all would sow for vision and I believe that God is going to surround the city of Los Angeles the City of Angels with angels of Chariots of Fire and we will see Revival come on I said we will see Revival in this city it may look like we're surrounded but we're really surrounded by the armies of heaven and I believe God is fighting for us I'm excited about this they're going to put on the screen I believe ways to give or there's a c card in front of you you can scan that and I want you all to sew for vision and I believe in this building building man God is going to Open the Eyes of the Blind and people are going to come in we're not just physically blinded but spiritually blinded and they'll know that there's more with us than those with them can we pray over your gifts together Lord Jesus thank you for the opportunity to give the Bible says you give seed to the S and you are the one who release a harvest to us and so I pray as we sew from Vision not just for miracles financially but I pray for the miracle of vision because a victory is not in what we can possess but rather what we can perceive what good is a mantle of el Life select's vision so would you open our eyes to see your move to see your hand to see Revival in the city in this church for these great Pastors in Jesus name amen come on give God a good praise I love you boy love you man come on let's clap and thank Pastor Travis for sharing last thing we're going to do tonight last thing we're going to do I want to invite uh a board member up right now Pastor Dave Patterson is in the house and as he makes his way up I'm going to ask uh our family to come join us our parents are going to come join us on stage right now my little brother and his wife Cara are here right here Mort and Natalie my up what a beautiful family well I have the honor tonight and I want you to stir up your faith we as a church family as friends as C- labors we get to speak a blessing there's something significant about the initial blessing that's poured out on a place like this there there's a Destiny on this house that will affect more than this location we know that it's bigger than what we see right now and uh Chad Julia there's a there's a blessing the Lord wants you to remember it's I think it's Psalm 133 it's the commanded blessing the commanded blessing means when God puts it down no man or power can revoke it or remove it we're going to speak tonight A commanded blessing on this house and believe what God's going to do is going to be so powerful and permanent I I was praying for you in the hotel I think it's Psalm 86 and the verse it says the boundary lines have fallen in Pleasant places surely I have a delightful inheritance and the Lord wants you to know that the boundaries not just physically in this location and the others you'll go to but in the spirit they've already fallen in in Pleasant places what God is going to do in Los Angeles it's a very beautiful thing I saw during worship people are going to come into this building and and they're actually going to drive close and they're going to sense the beauty of the Lord the beauty of Jesus is going to be revealed in this place in such a way it's going to be irresistible and it's going to be undeniable it's going to be on this house and so we're going to we're going to speak into that and pray in that tonight and also sense that that there are are wells you know you drove a steak in the ground here you really did I I hear it was a pretty expensive stake yeah let's pay that sucker off anyway you've driven a steak in the ground in the spirit and Lord wants you to know that that there's Wells here and uh it was just flashing back over my mind that there there's Wells you're going to tap into the roots of the four square movement in Los Angeles the Pentecostal movement the assembly God the turn of the century and then in Zoe right here you're tapping into generations of anointing and and God's going to do it again it's going to look different it's going to look different but it will be undeniable cuz you you remember Jesus Saves the best wine for last right he actually takes the former and the latter rain pours them out in the last season and so that's that's what God is going to do in this house we're going to speak that over you and and church get your faith up and we're going to pray a a protection and a blessing over their family and over these precious kids so would you stretch your hands out with me tonight father we thank you for this significant moment we thank you holy spirit that you are in this house and on this dedication night we declare the command Ed blessing of the Lord upon Chad and Julia and their precious children we're asking tonight that what you do and set in place no man or power can or will revoke we're praying for Spiritual protection from every attack and assault of the enemy we're asking for the beauty of the Lord to rest on Zoey church and God I personally want to pray over these precious children we thank you for Georgia and we just pray blessing on her life and I pray right now uh over Winston right here God I pray protection and anointing he would grow up in the house of the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus pray over Maverick right now we declare a man of God blessing and protection and calling and anointing all of his days in the mighty name of Jesus we pray over for this man of God we pray over Clive and God we declare blessing and anointing and protection over him all the days of his life may he grow up to love the house of God and preach like nobody's business God we declare right now over this family a surrounding of angels would encamp around about them their real estate their home their marriage we're declaring God great things in the future they're going to be bold and strong and Lord around this building warning Angels would be encamped in Los Angeles and the glory of the Lord would fall on this house again and again and again let the beauty of the Lord be seen Let Jesus be magnified and we just declare right now good come on I want you to do do something would you every hand stretched out I want you to pray out loud whatever is in your heart God can hear every prayer at the same time come on just begin to declare what is in your heart for this precious family for this precious church God release it now release it now thank you God so good so good Hallelujah so father we declare a house of worship a house of presence a house of Salvation and a house that will not be shaken in Zoey right here in the middle of La in the mighty and Powerful name of Jesus and all God's people said amen come on come on can we clap and thank Pastor Dave and our family up here come on up here there's one more person I want to honor I want to just real fast thank you so much I would like to give these to my wife wow yeah because not not only yeah these are yours not only did she design this place but no one has sacrifice more than you no one has paid a bigger price no one has loved this house more than you and we just want to say thank you for your life your leadership your continual yes you are the smartest most beautiful and I always joke if I didn't know Bob and Sue I would have thought you were raised in a castle she has taste my god do it cost me but look at what we're standing in come on clap and thank God for you want to say anything before we close oh so sweet I um yes Clive um I will say that what cost the most about this building is not the aesthetic but the largest cost item on this building was doing what is called I had learned about this a seismic retrofit and this this building is exactly a 100 years old they open their doors 100 years ago if you look right outside here there's a an inscription it says 1924 it was the fourth Church of Christ scientist not to be confused with Scientology although we do say that you belong before you believe that's fine uh but uh but it was really cool to learn about the journey and to work with our construction crew on what it means to build a solid foundation and uh I am so I CET and I'm just so grateful for all your prayers and so much to celebrate and we're so grateful but I am really really grateful and not everyone has this story and if you're new here tonight uh I just want you to know that a foundation is accessible for a new Legacy in your home but I am very very grateful that I come from great roots and from a good foundation and I love the picture of family up here and um I have five generations of angelinos on my mom's side I have uh great great grandparents that immigrated and uh both my parents were born and raised in Los Angeles Los Angeles and I had both sets of grandparents here every cousin every Aunt every Uncle we drove these freeways uh we visited these beaches and so to be raised in another state and to come back here I'm just like it is a beautiful thing to um be standing on the shoulders of parents that said yes to the call of God they said yes to Jesus they said yes when it was hard and the continual yes is not always easy and uh I want to honor them and I want to honor um I know Georgia was mentioned she is in the room somewhere oh she's over there girls over there she's in the room she is she's a huge part of our story and I know we're going to wrap up because it's late she's a huge part of our story and um uh caring for her is taught us a lot um but we're just so grateful uh for our family and how God has used us and uh we just continue to say yes amen and uh you feel good are you guys you guys did such a good job they did great tonight we're so you want to say anything yeah I I want him to say at least just one one last thing we're going to close this thing down you look at me in the eyes
