Transcript

Well, good morning Transformation Church or honestly, it could be afternoon. It could be evening. Wherever it is that you are tuning in from, whatever time zone ((music playing)) you are tuning in from, we just want to say good morning and welcome to prayer. Listen, what a way to start your day, what a way to enjoy your lunch break, whatever the case may be.

We're so glad that you are tuning in and joining us for prayer. Right now, why don't you tell us where it is that you're tuning in from? We know we are a global church and so we have people from different cities, different states, different countries, different continents. Wherever it is that you're tuning in, let us know.

We want to shout you out and just see where it is that our people are coming from. This is an incredible time. We already have so many people in the chat. Not only do we have people who are watching online from all over the world. We've got people in Connecticut.

We've got Shout out South Africa, Tepelo. I love you so much. We see people from New York City. We see people from everywhere right now. But not only that, we have people right here in our Tulsa campus in our live prayer room ((music playing)) and they are joining in. They are They are listening to these prayer requests.

They are locked in and they are praying with us this ((music playing)) morning. And this This is like the I don't even want to call it the Super Bowl because this is like Disney World land, Super Bowl, Grammys. I don't even know. It's like the biggest week in our faith.

((music playing)) This is what we call Holy Week and this is the week that leads up to and ultimately the resurrection ((music playing)) of our Lord and Savior Jesus. And so we get to celebrate that this week. That's what our church is about. We are about just seeing people's lives transformed because ((music playing)) we want to see people change from the inside out.

And part of that is celebrating this week and honoring what it is that Jesus has done for us. So we're going to pray through some different things today. I want to kind of give you a ((music playing)) road map, if you will. We're going to pray through Easter. We're going to pray for our pastors.

We're going to pray for our servant leaders. >> ((music playing)) >> But listen, if you're tuning in right now, we want to pray for your church. We are all about the capital C church. This is the kingdom of God. ((music playing)) Come on, somebody. And we are going to pray for your church.

We are going to pray for your pastors. ((music playing)) We are going to pray for your servant leaders and your families. So begin to drop in the chat right now the name of your church, the name of your pastor. What are some of your your servant leader teams, your volunteer ((music playing)) teams that need some prayer because we want to we want to pray over them because this is not just about what Transformation Church does ((music playing)) this week.

This is not just about our Easter service, but this is about our Easter service. We all have such a responsibility this weekend and what an honor and a privilege it is to pray into this today. And so our theme of the day is Easter. As I said, it is Holy Week.

If you follow along in what's happening, just if you go back chronologically through the Bible and see what's happening in this time in history, this would have been the day that Judas betrays Jesus. And so you can find that, if you're looking for it, you can find it in Matthew uh chapter 26 and it's in verse 14 and it says ((music playing)) this, "Then Judas Iscariot, one of the 12 disciples, went to the leading priests and he asked, 'How much will you pay me to betray Jesus ((music playing)) over to you?'

And they gave him 30 pieces of silver. From that time on, Judas began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus." Now listen, we all want to throw Judas under the bus. We all want to be like, "That man betrayed How could he betray our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?"

But let me tell you something, it was necessary ((music playing)) that that happened. It was divine. It was an appointment that that happened. If Judas hadn't betrayed Jesus, we ((music playing)) wouldn't have led up to Jesus going to the cross. And so that's just a big picture for all of us. That's an encouragement when we're going through something ((music playing)) that's like, "God, why is this happening?

This doesn't make any sense. There's no way this can be a part of your ((music playing)) plan and a part of your will." We don't know the big story. We don't end. Now, what we do know is that we win. The Bible says we win. We're more ((music playing)) than overcomers. We're victorious.

That we that we come after the Satan and we take him out. But we ((music playing)) don't know that at the time when we're going through it. And so I just want to encourage you, whatever it is that you're going through this week, be encouraged. ((music playing)) It's necessary and it's part of your story.

So this morning we're going to pray. We already see people dropping in ((music playing)) their churches and their pastors. But before we go into a time of prayer, I want to read um just ((music playing)) a really important scripture to you guys that I think helps us set the tone for what ((music playing)) this week looks like for us as a church.

So if you have your Bibles, go ahead and turn with me to Romans chapter 11 and we're going to start in verse ((music playing)) 13. And it says this, "For everyone who calls ((music playing)) on the name of the Lord will be saved." Everyone, not certain people, but everyone who calls on ((music playing)) the name of the Lord will be saved. "But how can they call on him to save ((music playing)) them unless they believe in him?

And how can they believe in him if they've never heard about him? And how can they hear about ((music playing)) him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That ((music playing)) is why the scriptures say, 'How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring ((music playing)) good news.'" I love this scripture because it says, "How can they believe in the one that sent and that's been that's been preaching about?

And how can they hear without someone preaching ((music playing)) to them?" Now listen, when we hear the word preach or talk or share, we automatically think about Pastor Mike or we think about somebody behind a pulpit and we think about how you have to have this gift of communication and you got to be like the top dog in preaching.

No, no, no, no, no. I want to make that very clear to ((music playing)) you. That word preach simply means earnestly advocate. If Jesus has done anything in your life, if he has ripped you out of the kingdom of darkness and ((music playing)) brought you into the kingdom of light, if he has ripped you out of addiction, if he has ripped you out of ((music playing)) pornography, if he has ripped you out of your sexual sin, if he has ripped you out of a life where you were doomed and destined to go to hell, you are now the one that is preaching.

You are now the one that can earnestly advocate. If he did it for me, there's no reason why he can't do it for you. And so this week leading up to Easter is you getting out there. You ((music playing)) earnestly advocating. It's you saying, "God God is so good. He's so kind.

He's so faithful. He pulled me out of what I was in and he brought My life has been transformed." We don't just say we're representing God to the to to see transformation ((music playing)) in Christ. We're doing that in real time. We are representing God to the lost and found for transformation in Christ.

And you now get the opportunity to earnestly advocate and call people in. This is the the most beautiful opportunity to invite people to church. There are so many people that will only come to church on Easter and Christmas and they're just looking for an invitation. The easiest way to invite somebody is to tell your story.

How did God transform you? How did he redeem you? What darkness were you living in before you were called into the light? How awful was your life? How des- how destined to hell was your life before you were ripped out of that? You now get to become ((music playing)) the preacher.

You don't need an ordination. You don't need a license. You don't need a pulpit. You don't need a church. You just need to open up your mouth and let God use you. So this week, be bold. The Bible says that we are as bold as a lion. A lion don't play in the jungle.

When he sees what he wants, he goes right after it. And we are going after the lost. Not just at Easter, but this should be our life mission. This should be the reason why we are on this earth. So I want to encourage you, don't let an opportunity or let fear or timidity or meekness keep you from being the most incredible preacher there is.

If you needed to know what your name is today, you're preacher. Uh-huh. You're evangelist. Uh-huh. You're teacher. You're pastor. You're the one that's going to earnestly advocate for what God has done in your life and we are going to see people. It says, "How beautiful are the ((music playing)) feet of those who bring the good news."

That's you. That's me. What an honor and a privilege it is to be able to bring people into the house of God >> ((music playing)) >> and to ultimately It's not our responsibility to get people saved. Thank God that's not our responsibility. ((music playing)) Our responsibility is to invite them, create space, host them, make them feel like they're home when they're here.

((music playing)) And then we let God We let the Holy Spirit do the rest. We aren't the We aren't the ones who save people's souls. Jesus does. But when we do our part, what can he not do? What can he not do? So, this morning I want to pray for ((music playing)) I want to pray for some churches and some servant leaders and some volunteer teams and then we are going to we're going to go ahead and pray for our church and our pastors as well.

And listen, if you are in the live room right now, I just want to shout you out cuz you are you are the faithful the faithful not I don't want to say few, you are the faithful many. You have showed up, you have gotten out of bed early and listen, I want to encourage you wherever you are, whether you're in the live room or whether you're on your couch, maybe you're still in your bed.

I I I don't there's there's no judgment here. Wherever you are, get up, begin to pray, begin to ((music playing)) intercede, begin to treat this as if this is what it is. It's holy. It is holy and so whether you're with us live or you're joining us online, we want to encourage you to pray with us.

So, we're going to begin to pray for some churches and some pastors. ((music playing)) Right now, Father God, in the name of Jesus, we come to you. What an honor and a privilege it is to lift up ((music playing)) the capital C church. What an honor and a privilege it is to call out those that are laboring with us, Father God.

No, absolutely not. By the blood of this what Jesus did, what we celebrate this week. Uh-uh, right now let's begin to pray for Pastor David ((music playing)) Robinson. Right now, in the name of Jesus, we send the word of God to Pastor David Robinson. We we call his body to line up with the word of God.

We thank you, Father God, that your name is above the word the word's blood disorder. God, we thank you that the only blood that flows through his veins is the blood of Jesus Christ. We thank you that it's his your DNA and your blood that is flowing from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet.

No weapon formed against Pastor David Robinson will prosper in the mighty name of Jesus. God, we thank you that Community Christian Church will see the goodness of God in the land of the living. God, we thank you that Pastor David Robinson is healed from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet.

Pastor David Robinson, that blood disorder is gone in the name of Jesus. There is nothing but the blood of Jesus flowing through your veins and you will preach with authority this weekend, you will preach with power, you will go before your congregation and you will will go before God with a boldness and an authority and a clarity and an accuracy like never before in the mighty name ((music playing)) of Jesus.

When one of us wins, God, we all win. And so, God, we thank you that right now in the mighty name of Jesus, >> ((music playing)) >> that you are with these pastors this week.

Now, God, we're going to lift up these servant leaders. If you are a volunteer in your church or a servant leader or you serve on a serve team, will you shout out your name? Maybe you lead the parking lot team. Maybe you lead the usher team. Maybe you lead the greeter team.

Maybe you work in production or you're on the worship team. Why don't you shout out who you are and we're going to cover you because the same way that our pastors ((music playing)) and our churches need prayer, we you need prayer because you are some of you are the ((music playing)) first face and the first voice that someone sees before they ever hear the word of God, before they ever ((music playing)) get an altar call.

You are the one that they see smiling in the lobby. You are the one that they see waving them in with that wand into the parking garage. You are the first Jesus that someone sees. So, God, right now, we lift up our servant leaders and our volunteer teams to you right now in the name of Jesus.

We thank you right now in the name of Jesus, no sickness will come against our volunteers or against their families. We thank you, God, that if they're signed up and they're set up in planning center or whatever system they use to serve on Sunday, that no weapon formed against them will prosper.

God, we thank you that they will be here. God, we thank you that you have given them Lord, I pray for just a fresh passion. Can we dig into that for a minute? I don't want what we do to just be done out of happenstance, but God, would you light a fire in our soul for the lost?

God, would you light a fire in our soul for what we get to do in our churches, God? When we lead these teams, when we help people park, when we run the camera, >> ((music playing)) >> when we run the lyrics, God, when we run the sound and the lighting, when we clean the bathrooms, God, we are doing it as unto you.

And so, God, I pray right now for a fresh fire in our servant leader teams, that ((music playing)) it wouldn't be out of obligation or to check a box I I I did my duty this week, but God, it would be out of a true burden for your people, God.

Give us your eyes. Give us your ears. Give us your mind, God. Give us your heart for your people. So, Lord, we lift up the people that are on the serving team right now. If you're on that, why don't you shout ((music playing)) that out? We've got Jamisha Hill who serves on her team.

God, we thank you that you're giving her strength in the name of Jesus. God, we thank you that you are lifting that you are lifting up and giving courage to those that are out. God, we thank you for Shannon who's the events team lead. Come on, Shannon. Lead those events.

And this weekend is one of the biggest events that we put on. So, God, we thank you that Shannon has what she needs. God, we thank you for Julia who's in the first impressions team.

God, that she would be she would have the joy of the Lord. The joy of the Lord would be her strength as she smiles and engages and welcomes and hosts. God, that you would give her that as she pours out, God, that Julia would have everything ((music playing)) on the inside that she needs.

God, we thank you right now for Laquisha who's on the prayer team. God, we ((music playing)) thank you for Maisha Bell who's a life kids leader. Now, come on, Maisha. We are going to pray for Maisha right now and all of kids ministry. Can we take a moment and stop right there? >> ((music playing)) >> God, in the name of Jesus, we lift up every kids ministry to you.

God, it doesn't matter what they what the big church looks like because the next set of leaders, the next set of pastors, the next set of preachers and evangelists are sitting in our kids ministry. So, Father God, we lift up every children's pastor. We lift up every children's team lead.

We lift up every servant leader. God, we pray over the children that this would not just be about the eggs and ((music playing)) the baskets and the candy, but God, they would understand there would be a deep revelation and an understanding that Jesus Christ came to this earth. He died on a cross.

He was put in the grave and 3 days later he rose up out of the grave and he ((music playing)) has defeated death, hell, and the grave for them, for their future, for their children's children. So, God, we thank you for children's ministries all over the world. God, we thank you for children's workers.

God, we thank you for people that miss service so that they can pour back into the next generation. >> ((music playing)) >> I want to encourage you if you serve on a kids team or you are a children's pastor, it may seem like a mundane ((music playing)) task. It may seem like does does what I do really matter?

It may be the most significant work in a church. You are raising up the next generation. So, we lift up the children's workers to you, God. We thank you for them. Right now, God, we lift up uh Victoria Denise who's on the praise and worship team. May her joyful sound, God, be pleasing to your ear.

God, may she enter into worship this week so that when Sunday comes, it is overflow of what she's already done, Father God. Lord, we lift up to we lift up Amina who is all things teen. Lord, we pray for Amina, God, cuz she says she's all things teen, God. >> ((music playing)) >> Thank you that she has the word to speak to this generation.

Thank you, God, for the rel that she's relevant. God, thank you that she's sensitive that when she sees a teenager feeling ((music playing)) off or saying off things that God, she's able to lock in and speak the word of God over their life. Lord, we thank you right now for Nakeia who's a small group leader.

God, we thank you for Brenda who's a greeter. God, we thank you for Lacey who's a life group and dream team member. God, we thank you for the medical ministry nurses at Concord Church in Dallas. God, we thank you ((music playing)) so much for the teams. God, we lift up the kids team.

We lift up the worship teams. We lift up the deaf interpreters. Come on, that is an anointing for the deaf interpreters. God, we lift up the parking teams. We lift up the greeters. We lift up the youth. We lift up the band. We lift up the production. Come on, pray with me.

We lift up the social media team. We lift up the photography and the videographer team. God, we thank you. We lift up the cleaning team, the ones that are flushing the toilet and make sure that toilet the paper goes down the drain in the name of Jesus. We lift up our facilities team.

God, we thank you in the mighty name of Jesus that ((music playing)) everyone that helps make the church the church is equipped to do what you called them to do. God, may we not forget to spend time in your presence ((music playing)) this week. We don't want to show up on Easter Sunday on the on a big Sunday on the Super Bowl Sunday of the year with something empty.

God, fill us up. Fill us a fresh. Why don't you ask God to do that? God, fill me fresh in the name of Jesus. From the top of my head to the bottom of my feet, fill me up, Jesus. I want what people experience on Easter Sunday ((music playing)) to be overflow of what I've already done, of the time I've already spent in your presence, of how I've already seen your face, ((music playing)) of how I've already experienced your goodness.

God, I don't want to give seconds. I want someone to have the overflow of what I have experienced in your presence. Let that be your prayer. God, I don't want to give somebody my seconds. I don't ((music playing)) want to give somebody my leftovers. I want them to have the overflow of what you've given to me, God.

So, Lord, we thank you for our churches. Now, I want to lift up our own church. I want to lift up Pastors Michael and Natalie Todd and our servant leaders ((music playing)) team. Right now, in the name of Jesus, if you are in the live room, will you pray with me?

Stand to your feet. Begin to pray for Pastor Michael. Begin to pray for Pastor Natalie. Begin to lift up Bella and Ava and Gia and MJ. Begin to pray for these people as if they were your own family because guess what? They are. They go before God on your behalf.

The burden and the weight that your pastors carry, we will never know. So, right now, in the name of Jesus, we lift up Pastor Michael and Natalie and their family to you in the mighty name of Jesus. God, we thank you that everything that they are asking ((music playing)) of you, God, whether they say it out loud or they're only whispering it in their quiet time or they're only writing it in their journal, God, the prayers that they are praying that no one knows about, the prayers that they are believing earnestly for, God, would you hear their prayers, their prayers.

God, your word says that as we commit our ways to you, that you give us the desires of our heart. Thank you, God, that as Pastor ((music playing)) Mike and Pastor Natalie have committed their ways unto you, that God, you will give them the desires of their heart. God, thank you that there's a hedge of protection over the Todd family.

((music playing)) We plead the blood of Jesus. Come on, somebody pray that with me. We plead the blood of Jesus over our pastors and their family. No weapon formed against them will prosper in the name of of Jesus. No tongue that raises up in condemnation against them will succeed in the mighty name of Jesus.

God, we thank you that they are more than conquerors. God, we thank you that they have what they need, that they lack nothing, that they have resources, they have community, they they have mentorship. God, they lack nothing in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you that as Pastor Michael goes before you to receive a word to give to your church, that ((music playing)) it comes with clarity and accuracy and precision in the name of Jesus.

The way that an arrow hits the middle of that target, God, would that word go forth >> ((music playing)) >> and accomplish the very thing in which you have desired and set it out to accomplish. God, thank you that Pastor Michael preaches with a boldness and an authority. Come on, pray that with me.

God, thank you that as we lead a salvation call on Sunday, ((music playing)) that we will see people come from the north, the south, the east, and the west. God, we thank you that people are coming up out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of light. God, we thank you that as he is bold enough, humble, open, and transparent, and vulnerably shares his story, that it brings freedom.

God, thank you that where ((music playing)) the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom indeed. God, thank you that Pastor Michael is well from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet. Thank you that he is well in his mind. He is well in his heart.

He is well in his lungs. He is well in his physical body. God, thank you that Pastor Natalie ((music playing)) is well in her mind. She is well in her heart, spirit, body, and soul. We speak wholeness to Pastor Michael and Natalie Todd right now in the name of Jesus.

And God, we thank you for those children. We thank you for Ava and Bella and Gia and MJ. God, we thank you for friends that come around them that lead you that lead them to you, that they can come together, partner their faith with. They don't pull them into culture, but together they put Christ in the middle of culture.

God, we thank you that these aren't typical PKs, preachers kids. >> ((music playing)) >> We thank you, God, that these are children that are anointed and called by God, that they will go out into the earth and they will proclaim the goodness of God in the land of the living.

God, we thank you that no weapon formed against them will prosper. God, we thank you for healing in MJ's body right now in the name of Jesus. God, we thank you that he will speak in full complete sentences. God, we thank you that autism has no greater name than the name of Jesus.

And we send healing right now to MJ's body. God, we thank you that you've given Pastor Mike and Natalie the the encouragement that they need, that their souls would be encouraged, that he who began a good work in them, he who began a good work in MJ ((music playing)) is faithful to bring that to completion.

So, God, we thank you for that in the mighty name of Jesus. God, we thank you for all of the servant leaders at Transformation Church. We thank you, God, for the people that have said yes to this call, yes to this ((music playing)) vision. Encourage them. Exhort them. Lift them up, God.

If no one else says to them good job, would you saying to them, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." Would it be exactly what they need to keep pressing on towards the prize? God, thank you for our servant leader teams from the top to the bottom, from the right to the left.

They make this vision happen. God, cover them. ((music playing)) Protect their families. We plead the blood of Jesus over them in the mighty, mighty name of Jesus. God, right now, we pray for souls on Easter. As we're headed into a time of salvation, God, we are going we're going to pray for salvation here in just a moment.

But before we do, we're going to pray in advance. God, we thank you for the souls we're going to see on Sunday. God, we thank you that it's not about numbers. It's not about metrics. It's not about data. But here's the reality, God. You said you went after the one.

You left the 99 to go after the one. So, numbers matter to you, God. You knew exactly which sheep was missing. >> ((music playing)) >> So, God, we thank you that this week, during Holy Week, that the one that's out there, the one that's lost, the one that's distracted, the one that's disappointed, the one that's destructed, the one that's destined to hell is coming into the kingdom of God in the mighty name of Jesus.

((music playing)) Thank you that Transformation Church, God. Thank you for that Believers Church. Thank you that that um different churches all over the world are going to see ((music playing)) salvations, healing, and deliverance, God. Let this be a Sunday and an Easter ((music playing)) and a holy time, God, filled with fruit. Fruit in the name of Jesus.

Evidence, God, of your goodness. ((music playing)) Evidence of what it is that you've done. Right now, we're going to head into a time of salvation. If you've ((music playing)) ended up on this chat, welcome. Man, you've joined on the perfect I almost said Sunday. Whatever day of the week this is, thank ((music playing)) you for joining us.

We're so glad you're here. If you've scrolled on this in the middle of the night and you're like, "What am I doing?" I believe that you are here for a reason. And so, right now, if you've not made Jesus the Lord and Savior of ((music playing)) your life, we're going to give you that opportunity.

Obviously, one of the reasons why we celebrate Easter is because Jesus did die on the cross. God ((music playing)) sent his one and only son, Jesus, to die on a cross for our sins. He was on the cross. He was buried in a grave. ((music playing)) Everything looked hopeless. And then, on the third day, he rose up out of that grave.

He defeated death, hell, and the grave, and he went to heaven, and he's prepared a place for you. Now, that's the savior part of him. Now, the Lord part of it means when we make him our Lord, we give him rights to everything. The same way that a landlord owns a property and you don't go ((music playing)) knocking down walls and painting walls and doing whatever you want, we don't get to do whatever we want in our life.

((music playing)) We submit to God, and we say, "Holy Spirit, however you want me to move, however you want me to talk, I ((music playing)) will follow your leading." So, today, if you've not made Jesus the savior and Lord of your life, I want to give you that opportunity. We're going to pray, and I'm going to ask you to repeat after me.

Whether you're in your home, whether you're downstairs in the living room, whether you're in your car, at the gym, we're going to ask you to repeat this prayer after me. Would you join me? Dear God, thank you for sending your son, Jesus. I believe ((music playing)) he lived. I believe he died.

And I believe he ((music playing)) rose again just for me. I repent of my sins. Today, I give you my life. Change me. Renew me. Transform me. I am yours. In Jesus' name I pray. ((music playing)) Amen and ((applause)) amen. Listen, ((cheering)) if you have made that decision, you started off you started off Easter in the best possible way.

We are celebrating with you. All of heaven is turning up right now. The streamers, the cake, I mean, the balloon they are throwing a party for you. ((music playing)) Best decision you can ever make. Do us a favor and text the word save to 828282. ((music playing)) We want to get you some resources.
