good morning church how's everybody doing everybody dry no i'm not driving keep walking back and forth i'm soaking wet i want to uh welcome you all here and welcome the online crowd i'm pastor danny i get to do announcements my partner in crime is not with me today i'll explain about that in a second but uh let me give you some announcements uh first 6 a.m monday morning at courtney's is pastor greg's bible study and then at 6 30 at courtney's on monday is the ironman men's ministry it's funny to have two men's ministries on one day but they're completely different so you want to catch both of them uh young adults kiki is on her way back right now as we speak from holiday world and she told me to tell you guys that it was awesome lives were changed people were saved it was it was a great time so i think we need to celebrate that amen those things are awesome it's not it's not just about riding roller coasters it's about creating relationships and uh sounds like that happened and i'm excited about that for you people that are new uh children's ministry is down in the brick building uh youth ministry tonight is movie night at 4 pm in the sanctuary so you don't want to miss that and if you're looking to volunteer here at the church there's tons of opportunities go speak to cali at the volunteer booth back in this left corner and that's about it we hope to see you all this the shelf because god is a miracle worker and his word is true and his promises never fail if he's spoken something into your life he is worthy and he is he is able to bring that into fruition if you're believing for something if there's a dream that you've let die i want your spirits i want your heart to be able to believe again because he's a miracle working god he makes all things work together for our good for his glory if you believe that same man ((music playing)) he is the way we make miracle work promise keep light in the darkness my god that is who you are you are we make a on these monitors would you crank me up you may be seated all over the house if you're glad to be here shout amen wow this pulpit is soaking wet amen i'm gonna baptize myself today in the house amen this is beautiful but it's all right you just keep showing up and uh keep turning out for what the lord's doing in this place we wake up sometimes and it's all nasty and i think to myself well i wonder if anybody's gonna show up my wife's like they come in the dead of winter they come when it's 110 degrees outside in the middle of summer they're certainly going to come when it's raining hey at the end of the day noah saved the whole world on a day like this amen so we're okay this is the ark of safety amen and i'm so glad that you are here and uh thank you so many as many of you have been praying for me let me know in the meet and greet line which we'll do again for the folks that we've not uh met as of yet but man i've been in about 10 or 11 states the last couple of weeks and so my voice is just a little raw and just uh just a little bit still uh on the non-strong side but uh it's getting better amen i feel a lot better and so i'm going to be able to teach and preach this morning and they'll just keep me cranked up and so it's just exciting but when i'm weak he is strong amen it's not about my demonstrative charismatic personality how do you know the word of god stands all by itself the gospel is powerful without greg locke without global vision without a live stream without a soaking wet pulpit god can do it all by himself and he's going to do it and so we're glad that you're here we'll talk about in just a moment two of the things that we would like to express by way of an offering this morning and you know that we always are giving to others and always being a blessing to others and uh y'all can deal with that they're right there fellas that'd be all right and uh so a couple of things we're going to talk about in the giving in just a moment but before we do let me explain something this is cool i know you see a bunch of cameras around here and we always have a lot of cameras right but we live in that media world that viral world and so we always have various film crews so this is our fifth documentary film crew that's been out here you know it's it's amazing to me that both spiritual and secular media understand what god is doing on this hill right here in wilson county right so we always allow them to come we don't run them off unless you're cnn we kick you out of here because we're tired of their nonsense but these guys have been great right these guys and these guys they've been great they started with me and tulsa they were at the tree it was kind of interesting we had like 10 or 12 people a big camera crew walking down the greenway you know they were following me on my bicycle ride and people were looking like who is this cat on a bicycle with all these cameras around but they're here and so you'll see them but uh matter of fact i know they can't see all the people online but our in-house folks welcome these guys and gals if you would welcome the film crew they're doing a documentary on our church and we appreciate them being here so very much ross and all of his guys and gals and uh we honor you for being in the house and really they're super cool to be around you you can kind of tell look they got a job to do i get it they got a job to do and uh but they're they've been super balanced they asked some very fair questions they've been very very kind and and easy to work with but but i want to say this because sometimes things happen and it's like it's surreal it happens in real time and this happened yesterday buford so they're riding with me my bicycle and they they want to go to the tree because people are interested in you know where i get a lot of strength and my peace and and where i go to kind of refuel and repower if you will and so we're all up here at my tree and there's all the cameras and you know the interviewers and all the guys and gals and got umbrellas all over the place and it was raining a little bit like it is now and so i'm sitting on the little park bench the only park bench in the whole place right under my tree god gave it to me and so i sit there and i pray for a lot a long time and so i'm just kind of sitting there and they're just kind of like you know just ignore us just do what you normally would do so i'm walking around you know so then the camera gets right down on me this was a this was a cool god moment so they asked me he said you know what what's god telling you right now you know you come out here a lot you get refueled and you said this is your spot and this is where you get peace and you hear from the lord so what what do you feel like god's downloading into you right now and it was the most unbelievable moment that i've had in a while i said well you know what's interesting wayne caught it on camera i said it's interesting that you asked that question i said because this was the spot where i asked god to give our church a voice this was the place where i wept and i asked god to give us a platform so abundant that the world cannot ignore the gospel of jesus christ so this is the this is the very spot where i asked god to elevate us and i asked god to accentuate us and i asked god to give us something that we never had before and i said you know what god's telling me right now the very thing that i asked him for in this very spot you have cameras in my face right now given me the platform for the world that i prayed for in this very spot and in this very moment you are giving me you are the answer to god's divine prayer time you are the answer of me saying we just want to be able to get the gospel to the whole world amen and then there we were in the very spot where i asked that with cameras around and so i just want to share that with you because you know it's you can lose sight of it sometimes when you live with a camera in your face all the time they tried to go to jcpenney with me last night so i could buy my suit and jc penny wouldn't let them in the door i thought that was pretty funny but nonetheless those ladies said who are you so we were checking out and i said well you know everybody's just interested in the fact that we never closed down our church and we kept rocking on and this woman about uh two registered behind us said are you brother greg i can put a face with a name now you really great yes ma'am my brother greg i knew that voice so people are watching and god's doing the work so all that to say we we welcome them here we're glad they're here we got a lot of super cool things that we're going to be promoting coming up in the next few weeks you know that we have no scarcity of friends in in various venues in various parts of the world and one of one of the things that we did originally here in the very first tent is we had roger stone come and share his testimony many of you remember i want you to mark down monday night october the 25th we are going to have a town hall revival and we're going to have america's voice and the real voice news is going to be here running live roger stone is going to be back in the house amen he's going to be speaking here at global vision pastor mark burns is going to be here speaking at global vision we're going to have a marvelous time charlene bollinger is going to be with us that night and so that's going to be on the 25th and then in november get this we are going to have a redneck good time because i'm going to allow for about 20 or 25 minutes one of the duke boys john schneider is going to be with us amen he's going to be sharing his testimony and he's become a dear friend so he's going to be here in november and we're going to be going and doing his christmas program in december and so it's cool just a lot of the people that we have coming don't ask about michael flynn we're still trying to figure out when general flynn's going to come here but he's a hard guy to nail down but we have a lot of things coming down the pike and so it's just super super cool and these guys will be filming through december off and on and so i'm sure they'll be coming back for some of those things but we wanted to let you know what's happening well here's a couple of things about the offering we're gonna pray and get right to it most of you know that we've been buying up all the land the land beside us and circles and the land all around us we have one tiny little sliver of an island unto itself that has been the the achilles heel to the whole campus the one little sliver right there just barely over an acre that we have needed for our parking lot forever so we bought everything around us and landlocked that little ugly piece of acreage right there well apparently it meant something to people when it wasn't land locked but now it's land locked so not a whole lot they can do about it so it's there so we get to buy it so we'll have all of the 17 acres that touch us all the way to the road so we'll be surrounded and so we're actually going to close on that this week and just go ahead and get that get that thing plumb out of the way all right just go ahead and buy that last little sliver and then there's no more to buy until we just start going all the way down to chandler point by the little store we'll own the gas station no deal amen we'll have some gospel gas but nonetheless so we're going to buy that last little sliver so we need to close on that this week and so that's some of what we're going to be giving to today it's going to cost us 105 000 to finish out everything all the legal fees and the attorneys fees and real estate and just finally buy out all that land and i know it's just but a big hunk of rock but land's expensive right now in mount julian so 100 000 we're going to buy it we're going to be done with it and to god be the glory we're going to own all of it and we're just going to keep expanding uh parking keep expanding the tent and let me say no no no we're not building a building we're gonna stay in the tent amen i love what god's doing i'm not gonna get this way not gonna mess that up so a hundred thousand hundred and five thousand gets us in and uh so if you want to give to that today our folks online globalvisionbc.comgive and i know so many of you give just as faithfully as all of us under this tent so we want to give to that today but if not a dollar of it comes in for that and it will because i know god is faithful and he'll provide for us and we don't go to the bank the bar is serving to the lender we don't borrow money because we want to be able to give money away not have to pay the bank for something that god wants us to have any half god didn't want us to have the land he'd never gave us the money for it all right so he's going to bring in 100 000 i'm not the least bit worried about that but what i am worried about is this this is the this is the big thing that i want to give to today it's not even a lot of money but it is a blessing i got a call this morning from a dear pastor friend of mine uh in regards to another pastor that we've never met we don't know him but he's in the philippines and he is a national and uh this pastor in the philippines has an 18 year old daughter she'll be 18 december the second and she's been in and out of the hospital a lot with cancer and she has a liver surgery coming up and they want to be able to get her on the roster to have this liver surgery but they just don't have the funds they've been saving saving they've put aside like you know three or four thousand dollars and to them that's like millionaire size money they need four thousand dollars to put her at the top of the list and go ahead and get the surgery so even if we don't take up money today we're gonna give him four thousand dollars we'll take it out of the savings we don't care but i wanna make sure that that we've never met him we've never met his daughter but how do you believe that we ought to be a blessing to our filipino folks amen our dear friends over there and so we're going to give them that 4 thousand dollars and so if you'd like to give towards that just mark it on the check or not i don't care you put a whole 4 000 check in there you can do it online but we want to make sure that we take good care of them and if more comes in we'll give them five or six thousand dollars just to make sure that everything's covered for that particular surgery so we want to make sure they're blessed want to make sure the land is purchased but even if the money doesn't come in for the land we're going to make sure that they are blessed because when we give to others god gives to us you believe that say amen all right let's pray father bless the offering today as only you can bless these folks that were called about this morning in the philippines i pray that you would just help them use them raise this girl up heal her in the mighty name of jesus may this money be a blessing to this family to this church and to the ministry there in the philippines lord you've already got the land taken care of you own the cattle on a thousand heels the earth is the lords and the fullness thereof so i'm not even worried about that hundred and five thousand that'll come in absolutely it'll come in every single bit of it lord because we believe by faith that you're going to give us this entire area because it's not about greg's kingdom it's not about jesus kingdom it's about god's kingdom and so i pray that you'd help us to be able to raise it buy it all out just be done with it and have more people park and more people come to this campus to see and sense and feel and experience what god is doing in this place so bless the offering bless the worship bless my voice as i preach in just a bit and we thank you for what you're doing those are on their way give them safety help us now as we worship you in jesus name and all god's people said god bless you as you give ((music playing)) as we're passing the offering today i just want to share a little bit with you about what the lord has been sharing with me and he's just been speaking to me over the past few months about peace ((music playing)) and how his peace passes our understanding how his peace is a gift and how peace is what was able to let jesus sleep in the middle of a storm when he was on the boat with the disciples ((music playing)) peace is ((music playing)) it's a tool and it's a gift peace is what causes us to be able to say it is well with my soul so come what may in day or night in dark and light his peace is there to bring ((music playing)) us a reassurance that we are never alone and no matter what is going on in our lives it can be well with our soul so i don't know what you're facing today but father god i just pray that you would minister to your children with peace today that his peace ((music playing)) would lift up our souls that we would know we are not alone that we are we would know that there is nothing out of his grasp including us god i just pray that your peace would flood this tent this campus that your peace would flood our homes that your peace would flood our email accounts our social media god that you would just cause peace to come upon us and that those we encounter would be able to feel your presence your peace and they too will be able to say it as well with my soul we thank you father for this gift in jesus name amen would spirit out come on church let's give him a shot of praise let's give him a shot amen and amen you may be seated all over the house i want you to open your bibles this morning to the book of joshua the sixth chapter if you turn there joshua and chapter six my tree's gonna grow up here praise god all this water amen but uh that's all good i walk around i don't want it to get all over my bible joshua chapter number six thank you so much for being in the house today we honor you for being here and i'm just reminded to be unbelievably grateful for all the lord is doing in our midst right he's not doing this everywhere around the world he's certainly not doing this everywhere in the nation and there are a number of remnant churches that are rising but by virtue and context of the fact that they are remnant they are few and far between how many of you recognize the fact that if you're going to go to a bible preaching church today in these days you're going to have to burn a lot of gas because they're not in every town the way that they used to be they call this the you know the bible belt well it needs a new buckle i can promise you that it's no longer the bible belt it needs a new buckle i need some good some churches to stand up and stand out and so how many of you i love to do this oftentimes during the offering but i failed to mention this how many of you are here today for this service and you are not from tennessee you've flown here walked here hitchhiked here drove here and you are here stand up right now if you are not from tennessee you're from another state stand up all over the room hallelujah look at that hallelujah got the sign new mexico right there amen all right you may be seated thank you so much for being here we again we honor you we thank god you're here and every week i just shake my head and walk away and i'm like wow these people are just as crazy as the rest of us amen coming in here for one i meet people every week that are like moving here or have moved here on wednesday night somebody walked to me said hey we just moved here this past week never even met him we just moved here for the church i'm like wow i hope you like me that much that's a lot of faith amen move cross country but i'm glad you're here and i believe the lord is going to speak to our hearts in a beautiful beautiful way joshua chapter six is where we are we got a lot to chit chat about and so we want to jump right into the context of god's word so pray with me if you would and then we'll begin here in the book of joshua father this morning once again i ask that you would help as i teach the word of god lord i pray that as the apostle paul said when i am weak you will be strong through me and lord my voice may be a little bit weak but no big deal because your voice is definitely not weakened in any way so we pray for the power the manifest presence of god to be in this tent lord for the hundreds of thousands of people that are and will be watching later we pray that you would captivate their hearts as well but in this room right now gather glory unto yourself give me strength as i preach i pray that we would honor the word of god lift up the lord jesus christ people would be saved the baptismal waters would be stirred and celebrated homes would be put back together bondage and addiction would be broken free of and today you would give us a continued fervency and urgency for revival and we're going to thank you for in jesus name and all god's people said when you begin to read the book of joshua it's one of the most powerful yet unusual books in the whole bible because it's about a young man that just took over an entire nation of people the nation of israel after years and years of meandering and wandering around in the wilderness they could have gotten by the way where they were supposed to be to the promised land within the context of two weeks if you look at how long it actually took them to wander in the desert 40 years as opposed to two weeks and we look at that and we think why were these people so stubborn hebrews says they did not enter in because of unbelief and although it's not what i'm preaching on today i do want to say this just in context as we peruse by this text some of you are not getting from god what he's promised you because of your unbelief and you could have got it weeks ago but you keep wandering in the wilderness and blaming god and everybody else but the real problem is you just don't really trust god's gonna do what god said he's to do so i want you to make sure you put that in your spirit because they could have been there in two weeks but finally when we get to the book of joshua the bible says moses my servant has died and a young man by the name of joshua is now going to take the leadership responsibility even though he wasn't the most capable person amongst them he wasn't the most educated he was just the most anointed and set apart by god and so moses passes away he gives the mantle as it were to joshua and joshua leads the people in but he doesn't even lead in the same people that moses had been leading out because sometimes the people that get you where you are are not the same people that got you where you are because you got to move on to the next level and not everybody can go to the next level with you how many you recognize that fact not everybody can move along with you not everybody can take the journey with you and so the people that got moses and joshua to that point were not the same people that got them to the next point because what happens in joshua is something a lot of people like to skip over you see they meandered in the wilderness for 40 years but now it was fight time now it was time not just to take the promises of god for face value it was time to stand up and fight for the promises of god it was time to put some feet to the faith and i know a lot of people that pray flowery prayers but they never get their rump up out of a seat and go and do what god called them to do there are some things you ain't got to pray about because god's already revealed it to you some of you are the answer to the prayers that you've been praying you just don't want to submit to it and so finally joshua comes onto the scene and he knows he's going to have to lead the conquest so the very first town that he comes up against is a a city a fortified well-walled city very well protected the most of that day in fact historically it was a place called jericho it was a place whereby if they were to conquer the people of jericho then they knew there was not an enemy that they would not be able to face and that they would not be able to conquer and god said you go in and you destroy them utterly but here's the interesting thing they were going to win the victory in the most anti-climactic backdoor way you could ever imagine god was going to invite them yea command them to do something that was so unbelievable and so outlandish that even the leadership question the validity of the commands of god so watch what begins to happen as the narrative and the story begins to unfold joshua chapter six and verse number one it says now jericho was straightly shut up because of the children of israel meaning by that people weren't coming in people weren't going out it even says there at the end none went out none came in because they had the whole thing garrisoned they had the whole thing surrounded on every side because god had told them what to do and i love verse 2 and the lord said unto joshua see i have given into thine hand jericho and the king thereof and the mighty men of valor now i love this because god's so practical he's so down to earth right he speaks right to the hillbilly heart you don't have to have a lot of education to understand this word see josh was like what do i do god said see i told you see i have given you the king i have given you the land i have given you the city and all god said was see i have this very day delivered into your hand the keys to the kingdom as it were and sometimes if we're not careful we will get the idea that we are fighting for victory oh no we're fighting from a position of victory that we already have ladies and gentlemen because the victory has already been secured because of what jesus has done for us and through us and sometimes we spin our wheels in frustration and discouragement because we're trying to win a battle that god's already won for us now give me just a little bit more on these monitors guys will help me out cause i'm about to get cranked up i can tell wide slam open the plane is off the ground already so i'm tell you something sometimes we go through life and we don't even claim the victorious promises that god's already given us and i know you can look around at what's happening in this nation and get highly disappointed i'm disappointed i ask this question often when i travel how many of you in this room right now and if you go to this church on a regular basis i hope your hand don't go up but how many of you are here because in the last 18 months the church you went to or the church you grew up in sorely disappointed you the way that they responded to all this covet nonsense put your hand up if the church has disappointed you look at that everywhere i go hundreds of hands sometimes thousands of hands are raised you know why because people look around and they see what's happening and they know that god's given us the victory but we don't claim it and we're like when's america going to turn around when so and so going to swoop back in and save us i am not looking for a man to swoop in and save us i'm looking for jesus to save us i'm looking for revival to break out what i'm looking for i'm looking for god to do what god said he was going to do in the last days sayeth god i'm going to pour out my spirit upon all flesh that's what i'm looking for god to do i'm not looking for some political party to save us look as far as i'm concerned republican democrat two heads of the same snake i have no loyalty to either one of those parties at all my loyalty is to the kingdom of god and you better know when america falls the kingdom of god is going to march on when the world falls and when america is on fire the church will still be the pillaring ground of the truth and there may be walls against us there may be enemies against us there may be political problems against us but you can know god said see see see i've given you the land already i've already given you the victory i've blessed you before you even felt blessed it's like jeremiah he said before i formed you in the belly i knew thee and before you came out of the womb i sanctified you and i ordained you a prophet unto the nation god gave us the victory before we were ever thought of ((music playing)) did you know if you read all 791 thousand 328 words in the bible the last one is amen you know sometimes we think oh my goodness god's up in heaven chewing his fingernails to the quick he's got basketball size officers he's freaking out he's telling gabriel oh my goodness the budget is low this month we're going to have to pave the streets of gold with asphalt what are we going to do joe biden's really got us in a pickle guys what are we going to do oh i'm here to tell you god is on his throne this very moment his eyelids try the children of men he sees every problem that we're going he sees what's happening in this nation he's not shaken by and i say don't you be shaken by it don't be discouraged be encouraged you know i can look at the newspaper i can see twitter i say i can see twitter i've been banned but twitter and instagram and tick tock and you see what's happening at wall street journal look no matter what you read no matter where you get your news source cnn fox news they're both in bed together at the end of the day no matter what it is look if you're not careful you can come away and think to yourself oh my goodness nothing's ever going to get better oh country it's got to get real real bad before it gets real real good you understand so when i read the bible and the newspaper i know what both sides are doing and as far as i'm concerned the newspaper is proving that the bible is the word of god because we're watching the bible be fulfilled before our very eyes before our very eyes why because the victory's already here the battle is already won and some of you need to hear that word see god says see i've got the healing for your marriage see i've got the bondage and addiction that's has the capability of falling off your son or your daughter that's been a prodigal and they've been out on crack and they've been out on meth and they've been out on heroin see i have given you the victory monica said a moment ago some of you came here today needing to believe a promise from god and some of you need to get this promise see i have given you the victory i have given you the victory and i'm telling you god is going to win in the end he's going to win in the end no matter how defeated you feel i promise you this thing really does turn out all right it really does turn out all right and know this god is so much in control that the bible says he neither slumbers nor sleeps god's not sitting up in heaven sucking a bottle of nyquil so he can get a little bit of rest to figure out what to do in the board meeting tomorrow oh no he's already got it planned out because i don't know what's going to happen tomorrow but i know who's already been there and it's god himself and he said see i have this day that's just one little phrase praise god given into thine hand jericho and the king thereof and the mighty men of valor now watch what he tells me to do verse 3 and ye shall come past the city so surround it all ye men of war and go around about the city once thus shalt thou do for six days has god ever asked you to do something that seems stupid i mean it really just seemed like utterly ridiculous god said how's this for a battle plan go to the city surround it and march around it just one time there's a big city march around it one time every day for six days and everybody's like is that it yep you see the problem is we're looking for god to do big stuff but we've not been obeying the little stuff yet you're looking for god to come through on the seventh day you ain't even started on the first or the third day yet and god said one time every day for six days walk around the city what he's saying is claim what is yours walk around what i've already given you as it were so watch what happens because if you can believe it even gets more weird he says in verse 4 and seven priests shall bear before the ark the seven trumpets of ram's horns and the seventh day watch this you shall compass the city seven times and the priest shall blow with the trumpets now let's dial back and just ask ourselves a couple of questions why is it that god gave such a random weird outlandish command because at the end of the day had they done it their way they would have received the glory but when you do it god's way all you can say is to god be the glory great things he has done and so sometimes we want things to play out our way we want things to be fixed our way and god said oh no i'm going to move you out of the way and do it my way so at the end of the day everybody says look what god has done if they would have done it with the originality of the plan that joshua had then everybody would have picked him up on their shoulders and said hip-hip-hooray three cheers for captain joshua nobody did everybody said to god be the glory look what he has done so god said for six days walk around the city march around the city one time and then on the seventh day the number of completion the number of perfection he said on the seventh day walk around the city seven times not just one time now seven times march around it march around it march around it march around it and i'm sure some people are thinking this is ridiculous and i'll be honest sometimes we feel that way when god wants us to do something right i'm like god you got to be kidding me it is middle tennessee and you want us to put up a tent that just does not make any sense matter of fact it doesn't make so much sense that everybody asks us when are you going to build a building to me that don't make sense i'm like why would i get in the way of what god's doing in this canvas cathedral praise god why would we build a building when you can obviously see what god's doing so when god first said put up the tent i thought that's ridiculous and most the time when god asked you to do something it seems ridiculous i mean think about some of you that have already moved here that's ridiculous i mean honest to god that's pretty ridiculous and then some of you like yeah i'm going to find a job i'm going to move there it's it's righteously cool ridiculous i'm like who uproots their life i talked to people this morning from vancouver they're like oh we're looking at a house today i'm like that's ridiculous but it's amazing so when god says march around the city and get where you're supposed to go then you march around the city to get where you're supposed to go no matter how weird it may look on the outside when god says move you move when god says go you go when god says stay you stay so it's not just the steps of a good man it's the stops of a good man that are ordered by the lord let god direct you now i will say this just in defense of what i believe god is doing in our church and that is this the reason people are moving here is because it's not just a church alive is worth the drive life is too short to belong to a dead congregation that won't stand up and push back against all the nonsense that we see happening right now in the united states of america life's too short to go to a church where the pastor is a coward somebody say amen life's too short for that so look i would rather make sure my family's in a good church before i made sure i had a high paying job i'd make sure my family had a good church and a courageous pastor before i worried about what my boss was gonna pay me every hour and these are the days ladies and gentlemen where people are starting to march they're starting to claim the inheritance that god has given them and i'm telling you revival is baked into the soil of this nation and i don't know when america is going to fall but it's not going to be right now i don't care what anybody tells you it is not going to be right now i'm telling you god is about to do something amazing now it's going to come through persecution ((applause)) it's going to come through a lot of you losing your jobs it's going to come through a lot of you telling your boss sorry i'm walking away it's going to come through a lot of you soldiers that have already talked to you saying we ain't going to do it we're going to walk away but god's going to make a way when there seems to be no way because he still parts the waters the red sea and lets his people walk through on dry ground and the same water the same delivery method that god used to get the people safe is the same delivery method that god used to drown the people that were coming behind them and god's gonna make sure his people get through on dry ground but when pharaoh comes behind us you better know he'll confound and confuse the enemy and drown every last one of them because the people trying to stop the kingdom of god we'll never be remembered say amen they will never be remembered we're not in this for us we're in this for him and so the bible says this is what you do on the first six days this is what you do on the seventh day but then notice this verse five and it shall come to pass that when they make a long blast with the rams horn i love that the shofar we call it and when you hear the sound of a trumpet all the people shall shout say shout with a great shout say shout and the wall notice not walls and the wall of the city shall fall down flat now let me explain a couple of things in the narrative that we need to understand six days one time a day seventh day seven times further in the context we find because he goes back to reiterate the commands before the actual battle is engaged in do you realize that for those six days when they walked around the city they were not allowed to talk that take most church people plumb out of it wouldn't it they weren't able to facebook and tweet do tick tock no no they had to be silent every day that they walked around so it wasn't just ridiculous in the fact that they had to walk around one time for six days and seven times on the seven it was the fact they had to be quiet when they were doing it they couldn't strategize they couldn't pray out loud they couldn't you know talk and mingle and chit-chat hey how was things last night what are you planning to do next week you know how was this how was that how'd that mana taste this morning well same way it's been tasting for a long time praise god right they couldn't him haul around and willy-nilly chit-chat about that stuff god said keep your mouth shut god said just be quiet and sometimes when you're claiming what god has for you you have to be quiet don't show the enemy all your cards at one time as it were because the enemy always overplays his hand and so they're walking in absolute silence but what i find interesting is that god said i want you to break out the shofars not the ars the shofars break out a horn break out a horn there's something in the bible about that rams horn there's something in the bible ezekiel chapter 33 and ezekiel chapter 38 about the watchmen on the wall that would take that warning signal and they would blow the shofar not just for worship but for warfare i have two of them hanging on my wall in my office i used to be afraid of the ram's horn i used to think that is the most ridiculously odd religious relic i've ever seen in my life who goes to church with a flipping horn in their hand that ain't brass who's going to carry around a twisted antler and blow on it in church and i used to think that was the most outlandishly charismatic foolishness i'd ever seen in my life and it scared me i'm just being honest everybody okay are you gonna blow one while i'm preaching now because it don't scare me no more because i've understood the power of worship and the power of warning and the power of what's in that shofar you remember what artur said he said the people came outside the prison and blew the power of the shofar and it was the worship that caused the d.a to let him out ((applause)) to let him out and so he said i want the priests to go before and blow the shofar now this is beautiful this is a great principle don't ever forget this you will notice who did and did not go first in the battle the priests led the soldiers you let that sink in for a minute in case you didn't catch that the spiritual authority in israel led the military authority in israel a lot of people say well you know you just crisscross the nation you keep going all these political rallies and you keep on the trump train and you keep rah rah bish kumbh america's going to be saved you go to all these things and these you know you get up there at these political rallies and you get everybody all fired up and all excited about the constitution and about the bible that's because the constitution was written about the bible but nonetheless people like why do you do that i'm going to tell you why that's happening do you know why pastors are now being invited to some of the largest gatherings on the planet i am preaching in the largest political gatherings on the planet but i'm preaching about jesus understand that do you know why that's happening because this prophetic principle is starting to come true in the united states of america political leaders are starting to understand that it's the priests that are gonna have to lead the soldiers it's the prophets that are gonna have to stand up and proclaim liberty it is the pastors that are gonna have to stand and say enough is enough because it's the leadership it's the spiritual leadership that gets the people equipped to go and take this nation back for the glory of god and the priests went before the soldiers so i'm here to tell you i don't care how many death threats we get they can threaten to burn down anything we want to break into our house act a fool act stupid send us poop in the mail they can put all manner of crazy stuff in the newspaper and we can have 57 000 different documentaries come and they can all do hit pieces at the end of the day what we're learning is that prophetically spiritual leadership is what's going to save this nation that's what's going to save this nation ((applause)) thank god for patriots thank god for the military but i'm going to tell you the two people that are going to save america are parents and pulpits let me say that again parents and pulpits some of you parents need to quit saying well i tell you america is just a mess well pull your kids out of public schools and do something about it pull your kids out of public schools and do something about it train them yourself like the bible says and by the way just for context sake we do no long we no longer have public schools in america we have government schools in america they're brainwashing institutions of utter leftist nonsense and socialism you say well i'm a teacher in a public school i know good teachers yeah i do too i'm not against the teachers i'm against those liberal teachers unions is what i'm against pull your kids out in public schools i don't care if our governor goes for or against the mass mandate all this slavery and bondage of our kids in school needs to be spoke out against it's parents that are gonna have to say something about it you parents ought to stand up and raise cane at the school board meeting everybody wants a pastor to show up at the school board meeting well that's cool they know i'm crazy when i get there some parents need to stand up and go pastors need to get wild spooky-eyed and do something about it because it's the spiritual leadership that is going to save america guess who saved the republic during the american revolution the black robe regiment the pastors that preached in their clerical robes and when they got done they pulled them off and they had on soldier uniforms underneath their preaching clothes ((applause)) and they led their men into battle i said well what what are you trying to say i'm trying to say this means war is what i'm trying to say and it's time to stand up and take our rights back quit letting them close our churches down quit letting them fire everybody because they don't follow their democrat wickedness quit sitting around just letting them de-platform you and saying nothing about it it's time we stand up and say something about this wickedness and so the bible says that it was the priests that led the way for spiritual reformation but but notice i love this it says then the people with one shout give a great shout and the wall of the city shall fall down so watch this verse six and joshua the son of none called the priest and said unto them take the ark of the covenant let seven priests bear seven trumpets of the rams home before the ark of the lord now obviously we ain't got an ark of the covenant here the ark of the covenant was the pictorial directory to the presence of god these people said look make sure you take the presence of god with you because what good will it do you to fight in your flesh because we're not fighting a real physical battle this is a demonic attack this is spiritual warfare this is the beast system being set up before our very eyes 101. it's happening before our very eyes because the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty threw god to the pulling down of strongholds and it is time that we suit up and boot up and put on the whole armor of god and there is no armor for the back of a christian because god's got your back and you ain't supposed to be running from them you're supposed to be running to them in the bible ((music playing)) we take the fight to them we don't just sit around and wait for them to show up and so he told that to the priest so watch verse seven and he said unto the people pass on and compass the city and let those that is armed pass on before the ark of the lord and it came to pass when joshua had spoken to the people that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of ram's horns passed on before the lord and blew with the trumpets and the ark of the covenant of the lord followed them now watch this and the armed men went before the priest and so the priests get in position they blow the trumpets then they move out of the way and they let the army pass by them and the re-reward came after the ark and the priests going on blowing the trumpets check this out and joshua had commanded the people saying ye shall not shout nor make any noise with your voice neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth until the day that i bid you to shout then ye shall shout he's like in first six days just walk around in silence that seventh day just walk around in silence but when i tell you to get your shout on he said that's when you open your mouth and you let the whole cat out of the bag he said then you shout with a great shout so all they heard was the trumpeters the sound of worship the sound of warfare and they're walking in silence and their spirits are about to leap plumb out of their chest you can imagine the anticipation is building it would be as if we came to a sunday morning worship service with a full house like we have today and monica and the band gets up and they have us all stand and we worship and we sing but i say to all of you do not say a word during worship just let it build and so you're there you're like you want to shout i mean you want to say something and i'm like and the band's up here going and monica's up here singing and i'm telling you the spirit's sticking the room and you're just like and we let it build and we let it build and we let it build and then all of a sudden i jump up and say shout and i'm telling you this place would catch fire ((music playing)) you see it was the anticipation for the victory because sometimes we can talk ourselves out of what god wants to give us and god said i just want you to be quiet just be still and know that i'm god just don't talk don't strategize don't plan don't try to figure it out just walk in silence and that's the hardest thing to do the biggest things god's ever taught me in my life did not happen in a crowded room or on a facebook video they happened in silence the cameraman yesterday who said just show us as if we weren't here some of the things that you do when you get here so i went over and sat on a bench and shut up because that's what i do when i go there i wait now god gives me vision god gives me strategy god gives me dreams god gives me the ability to formulate messages god tells me who to call who detects who to bless with money god tells me those things but sometimes i just go and i just sit in silence and the god that sees you in secret shall reward you openly and sometimes you have to march in silence because sometimes the first thing you want to say is the last thing you ought to say if you're like me i open my mouth my grandfather walks out i can't help it i just can't help myself so sometimes at work you're like sometimes with your spouse you want to don't i see some guys looking around like i should have shut up last night sometimes you gotta walk in silence sometimes you can't reveal to everybody what you have going on because what god's doing in you you better understand something he's not doing in everybody else a lot of times people ask me why do you keep your circle so small it's not that i keep my circle so small as i keep my information small not because i'm afraid somebody's gonna judas me or stick me but because not everybody's getting from god what i'm getting from god and so i got to be careful because it may overload them because they're getting something else from god that i'm getting and i don't want what we're getting and what they're getting and what i'm getting to conclude to collide you understand so sometimes you just have to march in silence and what was happening was god was building anticipation for victory now i understand that we've reached a a heightened sense of our silence has become our surrender in the american church and so what we're seeing is the anticipation the last number of months the last number of years especially since this past november the anticipation has been building the anxiety has been building everywhere i go people like hey you got any information you can share nope just let the anticipation build let me tell you something america and the world is going to see a magnificent touch of god i promise you it's going to happen i promise you ((applause)) muslim nations right now are being converted to christianity by hundreds of thousands of people turning to jesus christ the chinese underground church is still the fastest growing church in the world under communism and you know what's happening right now in america we're beginning to watch our rights get stripped away at such a rapid speed that it's waking people up people are starting to get awake and not awoken you know these preachers you know big screens fog machines and skinny jeans y'all need to get woke you're a joke your woke church is a joke church what you need to be is awakened by the power of the holy spirit listen the only way a person can get born again is if they're awakened by the holy spirit so don't you think the only way a believer can get revival is by the work of the holy spirit that's what i believe we better get in the bible and get awakened by the power of god and so these people begin to march in utter stunning deafening silence and he said but when the time comes and i say to you shout shout i'm going to say something to you church there is power in the shout out there is power in collective and personal worship there is power in praise when you are going through the process of pain and misery there is power in the shout out and it was so powerful in fact he made him hold off on it for seven days he's like oh i know you want to shout i know you want to scream at them crazy people up on the wall because you better know something the people in jericho were doing some shouting blankety blankety blankety blankety blankety blankety oh they were doing plenty of shouting and joshua said ignore them you know i have found i don't have a whole outline this morning i rarely do but i i have found that there are five things to do to enjoy life and respond to your critics ignore them ignore them ignore them ignore them ignore them just ignore them they're a diversion they're a deflection they're a distraction from what god's called you to do just march keep your mouth shut and when god says shout shout because there's power in that anticipate there's power in the building up to what god's doing and some of you find your place you find yourself in a place that you're just discouraged not just about what's happening in america and around the world and on the news and but your marriage isn't a mess and you don't know when to speak and when not to your kids are prodigals some of you are under this tent right now with a crippling handicapping addiction in your life and you don't know what to do about it and you have got to a place where the anticipation has so built you're either going to be set free or destroyed by its bondage and i say to you today there is power in the shout there is power in the worship of god there is power in full surrender when you fall on your knees and you lift your hands and you shout to heaven i cannot do it anymore but you can and there will come a day when god releases you to shout and something happens in your life the bondage is broken the addiction is something you're set free from your marriage just snaps back into order the way god said it was supposed to and your life has changed forever because there's power in the worship but notice what happens the bible says so the ark of the lord verse 11 compassed the city going about it once and they came to the camp and they lodged in the camp and joshua rose early in the morning he didn't lay around the sun warmed his feet he rose up early in the morning and the priest took up the ark of the lord and the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of ram horn before the ark of the lord went on continually so they're blowing they're doing it one day look at verse 14. the second day they compassed the city once and they returned to the camp so they did this for six days and it came to pass on the seventh day that they rose up early about the dawning of the day they were going to get to it they weren't waiting till dinner and they compassed the city after the manor seven times only on that day they come past the city seven times so the first six days they went around went around went around but on the seventh not just once but now seven times and it came to pass this is so beautiful at the seventh time when the priest blew with the trumpets joshua said to the people shout for the lord hath given you the city her marching marching marching marching that's where we get that song we're marching to zion and so they're marching marching quiet quiet quiet quiet quiet anticipation build anticipation build what's gonna happen what's gonna happen on that seventh time on the seventh day everybody's like then spiritual antennas start going off hair starts raising up on the back of their neck and something happens when the person beside you gets bold your backbone gets stiffened and they're like it's about to happen and they hear the and joshua stands up and says wait for it wait for it shout and when he did i'm telling you the people shouted with the mighty praise of god they shouted for the victory that god already gave them they shouted for their marriage to be put back together they shouted for the nation to be resurrected they shouted for the fact that god gave them victory joshua said shout shout shout and the people we're set free because there's power in the shout there's power in the shout there's power in the shout and then we sing this song all the time and the wolves came tumbling down that's not even what happened now theologically let me just blow your mind according to the context for a moment we're going we're going to finish this thing out cause i'm about shot from shout praise god the bible says on three occasions in this one text wall wall wall never walls many wall one he said what you will do when you play the trumpet and you shout and you go in he said everyone will go before them up into the city so what we think is all the walls of the city crumble down do you realize these were the highest walls in recorded human history at this time they had chariot races on top of the wall the wall was so tall and so wide can i remind you the bible says that rahab the harlot's house was built on top of the wall so if it just fell over this way it's still a wall if it crumbled it would have been absolutely impossible for them to do what god said because god said go up into the city capture them and destroy them annihilate them the only way that can happen is if you're trapped like a bunch of rats the bible never says that the walls came down it says and the wall fell down here's the word flat let me teach you something not trying to impress you trying to shepherd you you know what the word flat means in the hebrew and i know a little hebrew runs a laundromat down the street here but nonetheless i just got that didn't you the word flat in the hebrew literally means in its own place you know what happened when they discovered the ancient ruins of jericho they found three walls they finally found the fourth one much deeper in the ground than the other three because the only way they could obey the command to go up into the city and destroy them utterly was if three walls remained to trap everyone in so they didn't run out the back side or the sides and when they blew the trumpet and the shout was pronounced the bible says right there that the wall fell down flat literally means in its place the wall slipped down into the ground leaving three barriers for no one to go anywhere and they walked in and did exactly what god called them to do and you better know that the shout prepares the way for what god's wanting to do in your life this very second and they walked in and they accomplished the command of god because the bible says and the wall fell in its place slid right down and everybody saw it and they're like well i'll be i guarantee you nobody was disappointed i guarantee everybody was blown away because what happened for an entire week is the anticipation for victory began to build the anticipation of winning the battle began to build and although there was a stirring amongst the people and within their spirit they kept it to themselves because god said so and that was a miracle in and of itself that nobody talked no information was shared and on the seventh day they go one two three four five six and you'll notice the miracle didn't happen on the third trip around nor will yours you remember the leper had to go seven times and dip himself in the river he didn't come up clean until after the seventh time some of you want to dip twice and expect god to give you a promise and a miracle that god said is only gonna come when you go seven times and they walked and they walked and they walked and on that seventh time everybody stood there in holy utter anticipation and the ram's horn began to blow and it lifted the spirits of the people and it electrified the atmosphere and it opened the windows of heaven and a stillness kind of like right now fell over the multitude that was there and joshua walked up and said now you can shout and the victory came from god when the people shouted and claimed the victory from god and some of you been praying put my marriage back together this addiction give me a new job give me courage provide for me financially heal me of cancer bring my kids back yada yada yada yada so i've been praying about stuff for a long time and it's been building and it's been building and it's been building and god says today it's a day of surrender today you don't have to keep praying about it for the next 15 years today's a day of surrender the reason some of you don't have an answer to your prayer is because you've not surrendered the answer because you don't like the answer god gave you because it's not the one you expected or anticipated and so you need to stand in the gap and shout for your home some of us need to shout for this nation we need to shout for our churches to reopen and see revival like never before need to shout to bring our kids back to the gospel that we taught them and when we teach them the word of god when they are old they will not depart from it and i'm telling you this is the day when the prodigals are coming home and some of you need to claim that victory and shout to the lord and shout that the wall would come falling down and shout that god would do what he's always promised to do because titus 1 2 says god cannot lie god cannot buy them and some of you today need to be released from some things that have you all tied up i know old testament passages are allegorical to us in these days in nature we get the interpretation we make strict application i understand who these people were who they were fighting and what we're up against and i know the odds are different but every word of god is for our learning and admonition and the bible says these things were done unto them as examples for how we are to live because god's provided all that we need of everything that pertains to life and godliness so if there was power in the shout for them there's power in the shout for us there's power in that worship there's power in our full surrender when we give completely in even when we don't understand what's going on around us and what i'm finding in this church on this campus in my home with my kids in our marriage and as i crisscross america nearly every day of the week i'm finding that the showers are lining up the people are lining up i keep asking myself how do these people find us in the middle of nowhere them amish folk put up a tent in a field amish people you know there's something powerful happening when the amish are the one that gets the church fired up in terre haute indiana they put up a tent in a field beside a warehouse and 800 people showed up ((music playing)) in a tent in a field that the amish were running and everywhere we go buildings packed people standing in line somerset kentucky the other night i called the guy i said how big's your tent he said he'd see about 150 i said oh gonna be bring your own chair tonight 800 people try to get under 150 seat tent in my line people saved all over the parking lot nobody left they stood there for the whole duration of the sir you know why because the shouters are lining up all over america god's position in the right churches he's positioning the right pastors he's positioning the right parents he's positioning the right politicians and god is saying it's time to shout church it's time to shout get on your feet and give god some glory in this house shout to the lord shout to the lord shout to the lord shout to the lord he's given us the victory in jesus name ((applause)) i don't know about you but i feel like i needed that today i feel like you know i tell people all the time sometimes you just have to praise your way to your breakthrough there is something so beautiful about praising god for who he is not who we are not because of our circumstances not because of all the prayers that we feel like we've prayed for a long time that god hasn't answered we serve a faithful god our god is faithful and he is just and he is holy and he cannot lie because he is holy and if god made you a promise he is faithful to fulfill that promise and i feel heavy in my spirit today that some of you are saying to yourself yeah but i've been believing for my promise for a long time well then it's time to get out your show far and it's time to walk around those walls of that bondage that you have in your life and the stronghold that you have in your life think about paul and silas in acts chapter 16. they were in prison and they started singing praises unto god and then all of a sudden at midnight right all of a sudden the earthquakes and those prison walls begin to fall and those men of god walked out because we serve the same god yesterday today and forever and he is the same god that will part the red sea in your life and allow you to walk through on dry ground and today i don't know who you are but you need to start believing that god is who he says he is he is the great i am the alpha the omega the beginning and the end the one who is and was and is to come and he is worthy to be praised so we need to let our war cry be heard church our war cry of praise needs to go out so that the world can know who jesus is the bible says to lift his name on high and he will draw all men none to him and so no matter what you're going through today if you need to come and you need to pray and you need to fall on your face before god and not ask him for one thing just praise him for who he is praise your way to your breakthrough church amen let's pray father god we thank you so much lord we thank you that your word says that it is the anointing that breaks the yoke father lord would you overflow us with your anointing from on god that the yoke of bondage could be broken in our lives lord that all the strongholds and all of the witchcraft that's all around us that has came against our families and our homes and our schools and our government and our churches god it is your holy anointing that breaks that yoke and so lord we ask for a holy anointing from on high god that we would see the power of your presence in our lives the power of your spirit we walk around with no power god because we don't plug into the source of all power god you are our source and so lord today we come to you and we surrender all to you father because for so long we have done this in our own way and we have messed things up so terribly bad but lord we know that jesus was never plan b he was always plan a he was the lamb slain before the foundation of the world and so god would you teach your church to move out of your way lord that we would walk in the stillness of who you are and lord that we would be so in tune with the spirit within us god that we would walk in silence until you say to shout and lord when you say shout may we shout loud enough for all the world to hear in jesus name amen i want you to stand with me all over the room if you would heads are about eyes are closed everyone's standing you can certainly spend as much time alone in the presence of god as you desire but if you need somebody to pray with you we have men and ladies that are here and they'll be making their way down to the front now and some folks on our prayer team that are willing to pray with you pray for you lay hands on you if you need something today from the lord and you came in here i say it on wednesday night every wednesday night if you come in here with a burden and you walk out with the same burden that's on you nobody else you don't have to today it can be released today somebody can pray for you today somebody can help you if you're here today for our baptismal celebration and i know many of you are you can begin to make your way to my left your right just over here miss billy and the team of volunteers will be there to make sure you get your towel and get you all signed up and get you ready so if you and your family are gonna be baptized just start heading that way right now if you would if you need something from the lord right now today if you need somebody to pray for you if you just need to come and worship the lord if you just need to come and get your own private personal shout on and just praise your way as you said to your breakthrough listen right now all over the room i want you to begin to come as people are right now we got healing got people that pray for your marriage people that pray for some job situation that you're facing you come right now if you just want to come and kneel like some of these are doing right now just come stand come throw your hands up and say god look i can't do it anymore i need you lord i'm just coming i'm coming to put my shout into practice i'm coming i'm coming because i need something from you god i'm telling you god's moving in our midst he's not just moving in our church he's moving in various pockets of remnant churches all over america literally around the world but god's doing the work here and i don't want you to miss it i don't want you to miss body of christ what the lord's doing i don't want you to miss online viewers what the lord's doing not just here collectively don't miss what god's doing in the body of christ he's using confusing chaotic persecutable times to thin out the ranks and raise up an army i want to share something with you on a personal note and then i'm going to offer an invitation for those of you that need jesus today many are being prayed for many are praying there's time for you look i know everybody's busy but there's nothing more important in the whole state of tennessee than what's happening in this tent i promise you they're in a ball game on tv they're in a stadium during a movie there's nothing more important than what god's spirit's doing in this place but i'll share something with you i'll probably get a little emotional when i share it but most of you know i cry my way through my preaching so listen to me i know god's doing something not because we have big crowds and because we give hundreds of thousands of dollars away that's part of it i i know god's working not just because we have lines that you already see that every single week people are getting baptized and we've been privileged to baptize seventeen hundred people the last fifteen months and i believe it'll be seventeen thousand before this thing's over with but let me see how god's working on a personal level on a personal level last night about i don't know 11 o'clock my wife and i we had a busy day a lot going on with the film crew and got back from jc penney's and eating and we were laying in the bed my daughter called me kiki put your hand up kiki everybody knows kiki she answers our phones around here so be nice true when you call kiki and her husband chance started our global vision young adults group and she was super nervous for months i need to do this dad and i'm like just do it just step out and do it if nobody shows up nobody shows up but if god told you to do it then you do it so she stepped out a while back and the global vision young adults it's 18 to 25. you need to see them and get involved it's just been growing so she called us last night they were at holiday world they drove all morning to get back just for the service so they were at holiday world in santa claus indiana and she called us from the motel she said mom dad and my own speaker phone i was like yeah what happened she's like you're not gonna believe this she's like we had devotions in the hotel room and the holy spirit fell on us in that room and she said there was just just an anointing in that room she said it was just so thick she said i walked she said i was shaking on the way she said i was just so nervous she said i got up just started saying stuff i wasn't supposed to say ((music playing)) she said people got saved god was working and then here's what she said she said my apartment can't hold them anymore she said i got all these young adults trying to come listen to the bible and she said my apartment won't even hold him got too many dogs she said got people sitting all over the place and she said we're going to find another place to meet she said all these people just keep coming it's because they're hungry because the younger generation's hungry they've been fed they've been spoon-fed nonsense for so long that when they hear the truth of the power of god and his holy spirit when they hear the shout they recognize its voice and i'm telling you god's doing something some of you need to start some ministries some of you need to go home and turn your town upside down somebody need to go home sell your stuff come here buy a house help us turn this town upside down huh that's a word for you tell you god's moving so while these are praying while these are still being dealt with you need to come slip out right now if you need to get that baptismal line do it i want to ask you this question i'd be amiss not to do this and then we'll worship and we'll have baptismal celebrations i wonder how many of you would be here today don't be embarrassed don't be ashamed jesus said if you're ashamed of me before men i'll be ashamed of you before my father in heaven jesus hung on a cross publicly for you don't you try to be a secret servant of jesus let the redeemed of the lord say so whom he's redeemed from the hand of the enemy i wonder in just this moment how many of you would say in this room one of you two of you 10 of you 100 of you would there be somebody that would say you know what brother like i need jesus so desperately i need to be saved from myself i need to be saved from my sin i need to be saved from the wrath of god that is to come i've never been born again i don't know that heaven's my home but i know i don't want hell to be i need to repent and believe the gospel i need to trust jesus and i want to know how to do that i didn't ask you do you want to be a better person you want to turn over a new leaf do you want to you know just just change or go through a 12-step program no there's one step jesus is the only way to the kingdom jesus he's the one step he's the one step and i wonder if there'd be somebody right here that would be honest enough humble enough sincere enough to slip up your hand and say pastor i want to trust jesus today i need jesus as my savior i need to know i want to be born again today tired of playing games i didn't ask you are you church i didn't ask you are you baptized i didn't ask you if your granddaddy was a preacher i'm asking you have you been born again have you been saved and set free from your own sin and your own self by the savior jesus if you want to pray and trust jesus right now wherever you are could i see your hand sir could i see your hand man would you hold up god bless you god bless thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you just hold them up high for a moment just hold them up high thank you many hands a minute you may put them down now listen to me we're going to bow our heads we're going to talk to the lord now i'm going to tell you something don't think for a second that i got some hocus-pocus prayer i can pray to get you born again the bible says you believe in your heart you confess with your mouth that the lord jesus was raised from the dead powerfully that's the gospel death burial and resurrection you could pray these words ten thousand different ways it has nothing to do with the words of the conversation it's the fact that you are willing to repent of your sin of your defiance and rebellion to the law of god and simply trust jesus as your redeemer that's why the bible doesn't say we must be born again it says he must be born again it's an individual between you and god and right now where you stand where you sit the best you know how i'm going to help you have a conversation with god it's going to help you have a conversation with god right where you are you can say something entirely different whatever the holy spirit lays on your heart but i'm going to help you right now converse with the father to turn from your way and simply and forevermore trust jesus as your savior right where you are i just want you to by your head to the lord and only to him just simply say something along these lines dear father i know i'm a sinner and i know for my sin i deserve to go to hell i deserve the wrath of god but i believe jesus died to forgive me ((music playing)) i trust that he was buried and rose again from the dead on the third day i believe that father and i ask you to forgive me of my rebellion forgive me of doing things my way i repent of my sin and today lord jesus the best i know how i receive you and you alone as my lord and savior cleanse me transform my life ((music playing)) and i trust you to take me to heaven ((music playing)) when i leave this world as we're bowed before the lord i want to ask you this question how many of you whether you raise your hand a moment ago or not how many of you would allow us to rejoice with you over the fact that you would say you know what today it's not just a prayer it's a person today it's not just uplifting my hand it's god seeing my heart today i have truly turned from my way and i've conversed with god and i've trusted the lord jesus christ as my savior and today if that's you that's your testimony and this is what happened to you in this moment would you right now let us rejoice slip your hand up all over the room just hold it up high hold it up high all over look at that look at that look at that look at that look at that look at that hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah rejoice that's worth shouting about right there church hallelujah yes god bless you you may put your hands down we say welcome to the family you're as much saved now as you ever will be i'll tell you something god will change your life john the baptist said bring forth fruits meet for repentance that means you don't just pray a prayer and walk out no because you've conversed with god he'll change your life and the fact that you've been redeemed will be shown in a changed life and one of the first things you're going to have to do whether it's today whether it's next week whether it's in a month from now you're going to have to follow the lord in believer's baptism not because the water cleanses your sin but because the water shows everybody publicly your sins been forgiven inwardly and privately we're washed by the blood of jesus when we're saved and then we follow the lord so look we got towels we got to know if you want to get in line right now if you weren't prepared but you got born again get in line we'll baptize you today if not come back wednesday come back next week come back in a month we'll baptize you but you need to follow the lord but we're going to go into a time of worship we're going to go into a time of baptismal celebration i know many of you try to get out because of the parking situation i would encourage you to watch the screens watch what's happening many of you can come up on this side over here if you'd like to you can see it you can stand some of you in just a moment can begin to line up there at the meet and greet tent my wife and i will stay as long as we need to stay all day long to shake every hand of every single visitor and every single person that
