((music playing)) Your name is power. Your name is healing. Your name is ((music playing)) never ((music playing)) strong. Shine through the shadows. ((music playing)) Your name is power. ((music playing)) Your name is healing.

Your name is ((music playing)) break every st ((music playing)) ((music playing)) from the mountain. ((music playing)) Jesus in the street. Jesus ((music playing)) I ((music playing)) Jesus Jesus ((music playing)) Jesus from the Heat. Heat. ((music playing)) >> ((music playing)) >> I speak the holy name Jesus. ((music playing)) You can do better than that. Come on every campus. He's worthy. ((music playing)) Oh, what a great day. Hey, can we thank real quick all of our live production and worship and food and beverage and safety and everybody that's ((music playing)) setting all this up for us every day.

Hey, have a seat real quick and uh we're going to get into prayer just here in a few moments. Um if this is your first day, welcome. And uh we're so glad that you have joined. Just to give you a little orientation to what we'll do is I'm going to share a quick devotional because faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God.

So, we want to stir your faith to pray. And uh then we're going to have 30 minutes where we pray over the needs. And at every campus, there's prayer cards. And um if you don't know where they are, follow the crowd and you'll find them. And uh but we're going to take time to intercede.

Uh and then at about 6:45, uh the team will lead us in one more chorus. That'll indicate it that that individual prayer time's done. And then we're going to come together around a corporate topic and that is around marriages, relationships, and families. And that's what we're going to be praying for today.

All right. I want to share this thought with you. Matthew 28:18 says this. Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me." The word authority there, it means power. Uh but it's it's in the Greek, it's not just strength kind of power.

It's the rightful, lawful authority that Jesus has, not only in heaven because he is fully God, but also in earth because he's fully man. If you're tracking with me, say amen. >> Okay. So, this is the kind of authority he has creative power. Genesis 1:1, in the beginning, God created.

He has the authority to say, "Let there be stars in the sky, and he hung the moon." Right? He he had not only creative power, he has uh transformative power. We see this in the life of the apostle Paul. Acts nine, you know the story, the light shone from heaven.

Paul went from Saul to Paul. He was transformed in the moment. A radical heart change. A persecutor of Christians. Became most likely the greatest apostle arguably that ever lived and wrote over half the New Testament because Jesus has the authority to transform a heart. But I want you to focus on this today is that there's also delegated authority or delegated power.

Acts 1:8 says this, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you." And this is why we receive power. Not so we feel good or get goosebumps in a service. So that you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.

The word power though there is the word dunamis, which is like where we get the idea of dynamite from. It's it's a explosive power. Are you tracking with me? But then in Luke 10:1 19, is this too much Bible study for 6:00 a.m.? Okay. Luke 10:1 19, it says this that um to the disciples, well, 72, he says, "I've given you authority.

I want you to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy, and nothing will harm you." The word authority there is the same word for authority in Matthew 28 whenever Jesus says, "I've been given all authority in heaven and earth." So that authority isn't just strength or power.

What Jesus is saying is, I have delegated a limited part of my authority to you as my followers. That should give you a boldness in prayer that maybe you haven't had before. He didn't delegate to you creative authority because you can't go outside and say, "Let there be stars in the sky."

He didn't delegate to you transformative authority because you can't change the heart. But what he did give to you was the authority to tread on scorpions and servants which recommend which represents deception and represents the work of the enemy against the children of God. And so when we come to these prayer requests, I want you to remember this.

You've been given a limited delegated authority from the one who is the source of authority so that you can tread on the works of the enemy, the deception and lies of the enemy and all the other works of the enemy. Come on, I should hear a better amen than that today.

((music playing)) So, when you come to these prayer requests and you're praying for things, don't come in with a let me say it this way. come in with your head held high and your spine stiffened and your shoulders back going, "No, I'm not praying in Daniel's name. I'm praying through the delegated authority I've been given in the name that is above every name, the name of Jesus."

And in that name, I fully expect children to be saved. And I fully expect addictions to be broken. And I fully expect marriages to be healed. And I fully expect breakthrough in the areas that people need it because I'm not coming in my name because it has no bearing.

But I come in the name of Jesus. >> You believe there's power in that name? So you've been given power as in strength, but you've been given power as in authority. And that authority you've been given is to tread on scorpions and servants. Can I tell you as I read these cards, there's so much deception of the enemy, blinding the eyes of people, selling them lies they're believing, which becomes a truth in their life, which causes them to be bound and held back from everything God has for them.

And there's all kinds of other just so ((music playing)) Jesus didn't miss. He said, he said, "And all the works of the enemy." In case I didn't cover anything, all the works of the enemy. And so we're going to take authority over those things today. And maybe that's new for you, but I want to stretch your muscle to praying today that you would say,"Lord, as you read a card, I take authority over that in the name of Jesus, and I command this thing to come into the will of God for their life."

Right? So, we're going to pray with authority today. We're not a weak praying church. We're not a spineless praying ((music playing)) church. Come on. I was expecting a better amen. We're a powerful praying church. Amen. ((applause)) Come on, let's stand to our feet at every location. ((music playing)) Let me pray for us.

And uh and then once I say amen, you find your way to the cards at your campus. And uh we're going to spend a good amount of time interceding for those. Father, we come before you today standing in the name of Jesus. We don't come in our own strength or our own power or our own authority, but we come ((music playing)) in representing the name.

We are ambassadors of Christ. Paul wrote as though God were making his appeal through us. And so as we come to pray today, we thank you that we stand with confidence. We stand with assurance and we walk in the authority that's in the name of Jesus. And we tread on scorpions and serpents and all the works of the enemy.

And we believe it to be so by faith. And we say all these things. And the church said, "Amen." >> Amen. All right, let's time take a time of individual prayer. [singing] >> We ((music playing)) sing it. Oh, I [singing] am standing on the rock. Yeah, I am standing in your [singing] love.

Oh, I ((music playing)) am standing on the rock, my firm foundation. Oh yeah, I ((music playing)) am standing on the rock. Yeah, I am standing ((music playing)) your love. Yeah, I ((music playing)) am standing on the rock. My firm foundation. ((music playing)) My firm foundation. Cuz my fear ((music playing)) doesn't stand a chance when I stand in your love.

My fear doesn't ((music playing)) stand a chance when I stand in your love. I fear stand in ((music playing)) your love. I'm standing in your love. ((music playing)) Oh, I stay I'll stay in your love. ((music playing)) Yeah. Heat. Heat. ((music playing)) ((cheering)) In the ((music playing)) beginning, you were the promise, one with the father, born as a man for our forgiveness.

Freely you offer to go to the altar and die as the lamb as you are the one true God. Jesus ((music playing)) forever lifted high. And three days of silence you set to ((music playing)) wait for your resurrection. Seal of ((music playing)) salvation. You overcame and roll that stone ((music playing)) away. You are the one true God. Jesus forever lifted high. ((music playing)) Jesus, no one stronger, no one ((music playing)) greater who could ever stand against. You are ((music playing)) the one true God.

Oh Jesus. ((music playing)) One day you will hear the trumpet sound. ((music playing)) will see him riding on the clouds and every [singing and music] eye will see and know the Lord. ((music playing)) The skies will open like a scroll. His eyes like fire, head like wool, and ((music playing)) on [singing] the earth the king makes the road. to fight the last build the way and welcome him.

Behold the lion in ((music playing)) the lamb, the son of God, the great I am, the wonder and ever more ((music playing)) will be. You are the one true God. Jesus forever lifted high. ((music playing)) Jesus no one strong, no one greater. Who could ever stand against?

You are ((music playing)) the one true God. Oh Jesus. One day we'll ((music playing)) hear the trumpet sound. We see him riding on the clouds. And every single ((music playing)) head like ((music playing)) on the earth the king will make his road. the last prepare the way we welcome him shouts of praise of glory the only ((music playing)) behold the lion ((music playing)) never son of God the great I am the ((music playing)) one who was ever more will be you are one who was dead more will be.

Hope you are the one who was ((music playing)) and ever more will be. ((music playing)) You are. You are. You reign over all. You reign over God. The king over all. The king over [singing] all. You are Jesus. We behold you. We behold you. We behold you. We're in all of you, Jesus.

We're in all of you, Jesus. And you're coming back again. Oh, you're coming ((music playing)) back again. You're coming back again. In all your glory, in all your splendor. Oh, the king will reign forever. The king will reign forever. You're coming back again. One day ((music playing)) we'll hear the trumpet sound.

We'll see him riding on the ((music playing)) clouds. And every eye will see the Lord. ((music playing)) The skies will open like a ((music playing)) scroll, eyes like fire, hair like on the earth ((music playing)) the king will make his throne. to light ((music playing)) the earth. Welcome shouts of praise and glory ((music playing)) to the holy king. Behold the lion ((music playing)) son of God.

Heat. Heat. Heat. >> ((music playing)) >> Forever lifted high Jesus ((music playing)) again. You are my true. ((music playing)) You are true. Oh Jesus, ((music playing)) you are Jesus. ((music playing)) You are yours. ((music playing)) >> ((music playing)) >> Oh, come Jesus. Water of life. What if ((music playing)) I said I was thirsty? Bread of life. What if I said I was hungry?

Would you pour [singing] your spirit ((music playing)) on me, Lord? [singing] Would your ((music playing)) glory fall [singing] like the waters fill the sea. Living water cover me. ((music playing)) Flood my heart [singing] with every single. All you are is ((music playing)) all I'll ever need. And I [music and singing] love you. I love you. ((music playing)) How we love you. How we love you.

Author ((music playing)) of life, speak your word so I can hear you. Oh, father of light, all I want is to [singing] oh be near you. Would you pour ((music playing)) your spirit on me Lord ((music playing)) over your glory fall like the ((music playing)) waters fill the sea. Give ((music playing)) me water, cover me. Pouring us to ((music playing)) overflow, Father.

Desperately we need to ((music playing)) see you. We love you.

We love you. Oh, heat. >> ((music playing)) >> Sometimes I'm strong. Sometimes I'm weak. Sometimes ((music playing)) I [singing] fall in my wondering. But through it all, there's just ((music playing)) one thing more preious [singing] than the air I breathe. Grace, amazing ((music playing)) grace, unfailing grace that saves ((music playing)) my soul. Grace, unending ((music playing)) grace, unreenting [singing] grace ((music playing)) that won't let go.

You took ((music playing)) our sin. You took our stain. You took our guilt. ((music playing)) Now there is no shame. This [music and singing] wore eternal crown. The endless ((music playing)) song. How sweet. Oh, that rugged cross, ((music playing)) the selfless pain he bore. He breathed ((music playing)) his final breath that I would be restored by his body ((music playing)) that was broken.

Precious blood freely shed. The spotless ((music playing)) lamb of heaven has forever conered death. ((music playing)) Jesus is my healer. He's everything I need. He alone has triumph overness and disease. Fear where is your power? The cross ((music playing)) is your defeat. Jesus is my healer. He has won ((music playing)) the victory. Hallelujah. Know how great a love I'm held by perfect peace.

He walks with ((music playing)) me through valleyies, understands my suffering. Every ((music playing)) joy and every sorrow, every triumph, every loss. I know everything is covered by the shadow of the cross. Yes, everything ((music playing)) is covered by the shadow of the cross. ((music playing)) Jesus is my healer. He's everything ((music playing)) I need. He alone ((music playing)) has triumph over sickness and disease.

Fear, ((music playing)) where is your power? The cross is your defeat. Jesus is my ((music playing)) healer. He has won the victory. Oh, Jesus ((music playing)) [singing] is my healer. He has won ((music playing)) the victory. Oh, ((music playing)) everything dies ((music playing)) in his name. Everything bows at his [singing] name. Sickness, ((music playing)) darkness, and chains break at [singing] the name of Jesus.

Everything bows at his ((music playing)) name. Everything bows at his name. sickness, darkness, chains. Break at ((music playing)) the name of Jesus. Everything bows at his ((music playing)) name. Everything bows at his [singing] name. ((music playing)) Sickness, darkness, chains, pray at the name of Jesus. ((music playing)) Everything his name. Everything ((music playing)) his name is dark chase. Break ((music playing)) out the name of Jesus.

Everything bound in his name. ((music playing)) Everything bound in his name. Simp ((music playing)) breaking the lamb of Jesus. ((music playing)) Jesus is my He's everything I need. He ((music playing)) alone has triless and disease. ((music playing)) Where is your power on the cross is your Jesus is my He has won the victory. ((music playing)) Oh Jesus is my healer.

((music playing)) He has won the victory. Oh Jesus is ((music playing)) my healer. He has won the victory ((music playing)) as he Jesus ((music playing)) [singing] is my king. Lift your voice. He's everything I need. He alone ((music playing)) has [singing] tri over sickness ((music playing)) and disease. Fear where is your power. The cross is your [singing] defeat. ((music playing)) Jesus is my healer.

He has won the [music and singing] victory. Sing it one more time. Lift your voice. Oh Jesus [singing] is my healer. He's [singing] everything I need. He alone [singing] has tri over sickness ((music playing)) and disease. Beware is your power. The cross is ((music playing)) your defeat. Jesus [singing] is my healer. He has won the [singing and music] victory. Oh Jesus is my healer.

He has won [singing] the victory. >> Amen. Amen. Come on. We believe that today. ((applause)) ((music playing)) I want to invite us at every location if you would to make your way as close as you can to the front of your room. And uh we're going to take some time to pray over marriages and relationships and families.

Uh I want to read a verse to you and then give you some specific prayer points to pray around. Um ((music playing)) if you're up front, just scoot in a little closer. Make sure everybody has a little bit of room. It'd be great. Colossians 3 12-14 says this. Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourself [snorts] with compassion, with kindness, humility, gentleness, ((music playing)) and patience.

Come on, you can take the rest of the year just to work on that verse. Anybody else? Bear with each other and forgive one another. >> If any of you has a grievance against someone, forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues, put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

You know, if we just apply that scripture in all of our relationships, we would eliminate a lot of our relational challenges, don't you think? So we want to pray this over uh a few areas. We want to pray for healthy and Christc centered relationships in every area of our life.

So our marriages, our our families, our friendships. Want to pray for healing, forgiveness, humility, and grace to shape our relationships. And uh that they would be marked by faithfulness that there'd be lasting legacies of faith. And we want to pray for wisdom in communication, patience, and disagreement, and a love that reflects the heart of Christ in our homes and in our communities.

And um and so I want to I want to pray for ((music playing)) two specifically when we get around families. I want to pray for families that are um disenfranchised or there's been some relational fracture within the families. I've just uh seen this on several prayer cards. I've just heard it in several conversations I had around about um how that families that aren't speaking to one another anymore or children that are no longer speaking to their parents.

And honestly, this is just my opinion. This isn't research. I think a lot of it started around COVID when there was such divisive opinions about how to handle things and then all of a sudden parents aren't seeing their grandchildren. And I've just had several conversations. I'm actually going to address it in February in our relationship series.

Um, but I just want us to sew that in prayer if we could beforehand that we'd really lean into that. I had someone tell me that um after the first day of prayer, they said, "We've been praying and ((music playing)) um Christmas Eve night, a son that hadn't spoke to them in 5 years called them." >> And so, we're just believing that.

[applause and music] And um and if you would be so bold, I wouldn't embarrass you for the world. But if you're in that place today at any of our locations, you would say, "I have a a disenfranchised child, family member, sister that won't speak to me. Mom and dad won't. ((music playing)) We're just not speaking."

Would you mind slip your hand up? Yeah. Look around. If you're around somebody with their hand up at every campus, would you just put a hand on them if you wouldn't mind? And we're going to start there today, okay? and uh and pray so they can hear you.

Pray so they can be encouraged. Let their faith be built in this. All right, let's go to the Lord right now. Again, you didn't come to hear me pray. We came to pray together. Father, we're coming before you right now. And God, we got heavy hearts carrying deep hurts.

And I just pray right now in the name of Jesus over families. God, it is the unit that you created. You instituted the family and you instituted the church. And God, the enemy is coming against both of those. But God, we take authority right now in the name of Jesus.

God, we take authority over the works of the enemy that he would want to disunify and fracture and tear apart the family unit, God, that you created and you designed. And so, God, we're praying right now in the name of Jesus that that you'd put it on the hearts for reconciliation, Lord. that I'm asking for children right now to to feel a stirring even today that they would pick up the phone, they'd send a text, that they'd call their parents.

I'm praying for siblings that no longer speak to each other. Father, I'm I'm praying for humility to enter their hearts and a a contrite spirit to come into their hearts, Lord, that they would humble themselves enough to say, "I was wrong." Or humble them enough to to reach out and say, "I'm so sorry, Father."

I pray for forgiveness, a spirit of forgiveness to be released. I'm praying, Father, for a spirit of humility, a spirit of reconciliation right now. Father God, we come against what the enemy is wanting to do to destroy. Come on, let's lean in a little bit more on this church.

We're coming against the work of the enemy today that wants to tear apart moms and dads and children and uncles and aunts and God, these family, God, we're we repent, Lord, where we have shut the door, Lord. We repent where we have caused problems. We we repent today, Lord, where we have had pride keep us from from making the call, making the first reach out.

We repent for the areas where we've said, God, that if they want to talk to us, they know where we live, Lord. We repent for that spirit right now in the name of Jesus, Lord. And we ask for grace and we ask for mercy, Lord, and we ask for healing right now in the name of Jesus.

Lord, we declare this year will be a year of restoration and it will be a year of healing. Lord, it will be a year where bitterness is released and forgiveness is given. And God, the things of the past will be laid in the past and it will be a new day today.

God, we declare in the name of Jesus, God, not in our name, but we believe you have authority and you have power, God, to transform and to restore. If you can take the hardest of heart like in a Saul in the Bible and turn him into a Paul, God, you can heal the most broken of families today.

God, we ask for you to do it right now. Lord, we're declaring this verse over their life that there would be compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience. We would bear with each other, forgive one another, that we would forgive grievances as God have forgiven us. And above all, we would put on the virtue of love which binds us together in perfect unity.

God, we believe for it. We believe something has broken in the spirit right now. We believe we'll see it in the natural. God, we're praying for wisdom. God, we pray over marriages right now. God, where the enemy is wanting to divide and distract and God, lure away. God, we pray for an arrest of the heart right now for peoples whose eyes are wandering outside of their marriage.

God, they haven't taken the step yet, but their mind is gone there. Would the conviction of the Holy Spirit come upon them right now in the name of Jesus? Would your conviction that spares us from destructive paths, come over them right now and rescue them. turn their hearts back to the spouse of their youth as Solomon says.

God, I pray that you would turn our hearts back to one another. Lord, no matter how long we've been married, would there be a rekindled fire, rekindled passion, for we are the walking example of Jesus and his bride, the church. God, we are an expression of your love for your church.

And may we walk in that calling, Lord. God, we pray for legacy. Lord, we pray for families that are breaking generational curses right now where divorce has been in their past. We thank you for the grace of God that forgives, but we declare now that legacy of faith is being built in them.

That they're breaking curses for generations, God, that they will not hand down to their children the addictions of their family. They will not hand down to their children the brokenness of their family. They will not hand down to them the dysfunction of their family. Lord, we believe it and declare it in Jesus' name over their life right now.

Lord, we will not hand down poverty to our children. We will hand down faith and we will down the favor of God and the blessing of God and a commitment to the house of God and a commitment to each other that generation after generation will be blessed because of what some of the families in our church are doing right now. and we thank you for it and we uphold them in prayer.

And we speak against every work of the enemy that would want to destroy them. And we say, "Be bound, Satan. Be bound all your minions in the name of Jesus." And we release the blessing of God and the favor of God over them. We pray God for clear communication in families, God, where they're not on the same page.

Lord, would you give light bulb moments? Would you give patience to understand each other, God, understanding of perspective, God? Would would you give us humility in our hearts to say, "You're not like me, and I'm not going to try to make you like me." the humility to serve, God, >> God, the humility to to go low and God, not let pride sleep into our marriages, but God to to be servants of all.

God, I pray over the men in our house. Would you strengthen them, God, as they lead the home, as they step up, God? I pray they'd feel the strength of God. I pray they wouldn't feel the condemnation of they're not doing enough, but the strength of God that he's he's his hands on them and with them.

I pray for the for the women in our house today. Oh God, would they sense the spirit of God breathing fresh wind into their sails? I pray God where they feel overwhelmed, exhausted, like they don't measure up. Would would they hear the voice of the father saying, "You are enough in Christ."

I pray for children, God, that that the proverbs says that whenever your children are walking in righteousness, God, it is a blessing unto the parent. I pray for children that walk in righteousness. I pray they'd have boring testimonies. They were raised in the house of God and stayed in the house of God all the days of their life.

((music playing)) ((applause)) And we know that those who are planted in the house of Lord will flourish in the courts of our God and we will bear fruit in old age. So we declare that over our families, God, we thank you for friendship. ((music playing)) We need it so bad. Thank you for those ride or die friendships.

Thank you for the community that you give us, people that spur us toward godliness. the the iron that sharpens iron. God, we're we're grateful for it, Lord. I pray that you would protect friendships and I pray that you would open doors of new friendships. I pray that you would give grace where a season of friendship is coming to an end.

I pray that you would give grace to that. I pray you give the discernment to know that and the discernment to not vilify other people when God is bringing a chapter to a close. But God, would you encourage us? Would you would you bring friendships into us that are going to sharpen us and that we can sharpen others?

Friendships that don't allow us to remain at the status quo, but that challenge us to become everything that God wants us to be. Put us in circles that stretch us this ((music playing)) year. Put us around people that grow us. Put us around people that make us think, man, I want to love Jesus more.

I want to be a better follower of Christ. I want to excel in every area of my life. Grow us in that area, Lord. Oh, we're so grateful today. Thank you, God, for all the beautiful gifts you give us. And they are called people and they are challenging and it is not easy to navigate, but what a gift from heaven.

And so give us the humility, the gentleness, the kindness, the compassion, the grace to be what we need to be to every relationship in our life. And so God, we commit this time to you, commit our day to you. We say, have your way throughout this day. God, this isn't the ending of our conversation with you, but we want to commune with you all throughout the day.

We give you all the honor for what you're doing, God. You're moving among us and we see it. We sense it. And so we give you thanks and praise. God, we end like the Lord's Prayer says unto you. Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever.

((music playing)) And the church said, "Amen." Amen. Come on, if you believe it, put your hands together, every campus. ((music playing)) Come on. You believe God's on the move? We're going to see answers to our prayers. ((music playing)) Wow. So grateful that you're here. Bring somebody with you tomorrow. And then after tomorrow, everybody, we only have four mornings next week.

Somebody said, "Boo." And then we have night of worship. That's going to be a powerful time. So make sure you're at that and you bring somebody with you. And we're expecting a packed house. And more important, we're expecting the presence of God >> and we're expecting God to move.

Amen. >> Some of you may be thinking, "Well, who's going to be with us?" The presence of God and gateway worship. We don't need an artist. >> We need the presence of God and the prayers of God's people. Okay? We love all our friends, but we're just coming to meet with God and to pray.

Okay. Well, Tammy and I love you so much. And uh what a great way to start the year. All right. And uh somebody told me I was a few seconds over 655. I'm 23 seconds over, but I'm still within the 55 number. So, we love you. God bless you.

We'll see you in the morning. All right.
