good morning how you doing good how are you good uh how old are you 16 what's your name Gabriel bird and uh you shark your dad and your mom are two of the greatest volunteers by the way in this church I see him every Sunday morning behind the stage and he's a he's a great blessing to me he has always taken care of anything making sure if I've got an illustration or something and why are you doing this 16 years of age what are you a junior senior junior junior so um about for the past couple years I've had bad influences with friends and I was just trying to fit in so they were pretty much obsessed with females and stuff and then I became obsessed with them too I never like had sex or anything because my parents taught me at a young age to treat a female with love and kind be gentle with them so so I got a girlfriend around maybe start of summer and then about a month ago she broke up with me and she told me that I was perfect and I was gentle cing loving and all that and I didn't understand and I became confused and in the past I cut my friends off because I didn't want to live that lifestyle anymore and then um I felt alone for a very long time and I felt condemned that I didn't have anyone to talk to to because I cut my friends off so I fell into like having suicidal thoughts and stuff like that but I had two good friends with me named um Israel and cam they got me through that and then I became more Christlike through them having good friend groups around me now and then um I went to a football game with a youth leader named Ivan Martin and on the way there he was I was vincing to him and telling the story what happened and and he told me that God is going to give you someone better that you thought that she was perfect and everything and she's going to give you 10 times better and he said God doesn't give you the timing he just gives you the promise and now I'm just waiting for that promise and I give my life to him there is there is no doubt no doubt God has the perfect one for you she's alive and well and he's going to bring her into your life we don't need any volunteers but it amazes me a handsome young man like you the enemy would lie to like that and say just end your life your heart's been broken and it'll never be you don't have anything to live for that's a ly demon that's a lying demon and I'm so glad that you had friends that could point want you to Jesus we're so proud of you and uh there's no doubt that God has a plan my dad used to say there's a lot of fish in the sea if you if you if you catch one and it don't work out throw it out and get another one amen that's just how life is and and uh and if that one don't work out get another one amen but uh but the Lord will lead you he'll help you and and you're you're special you're special IAL young man we're proud of you you want to say anything else thank you for Ivan to being a good youth leader stick with me throughout those times and helping me throughout my life and thank you for my parents teaching me at a young age and they also never forced me to serve they always told me if you felt led to serve serve so they were a guidance through them that I felt like I needed to serve and it felt like it would help others in a certain type of way and where do you serve in the ministry I take pictures for the church so you're taking pictures and one of these pictures you're going to see a pretty girl in there and you might ought to ask her out seen a couple okay good good just keep looking and and and when you find one ask her out ask her out that's what boys do amen give me a big amen all right see you you helped somebody right then big time Big Time that's a powerful testimony nobody would ever look at a handsome young guy like you and think he's he's so discouraged that he's actually thought I ought to end my life you just never know what people are going through and to be an encourager in somebody's life that's what somebody parents and now I bring my children as well with my husband and and how did it uh lead to this day was there a special um thing that happened or is it just been a wonderful Journey it's been okay I've had my ups and downs but he's done so much for me that I feel like I have to do this for him and um I'm ready for a new Direction with him yes and and you're being a great mom do you know that hey you're a great mom you've given them all that you could give them but you gave them everything you could give them when you shared Jesus they saw Jesus and somebody and I got a feeling it started with this in front of people and do I have you don't have to but and the lord loves you the same but there's something about doing this that breaks um that that unwillingness to be bold for Jesus stay bold been going for two months now that's great why did you why did you start coming um I I really wanted to know about him and I wanted to be saved cuz I was scared of the Rapture and I really didn't want to have to worry about it so you were scared of the Rapture are you worried about it now no I was lukewarm so it was kind of like scary to think about out I'm happy I'm not anymore though because I I don't know whenever I came here I thought it was really cool to see all of these people praising him and it was it was really magical and one of the times when I came here I felt like this little feeling in like my heart like this kind of weight has been lifting off my shoulders ((music playing)) wow did did somebody invite you or did do you have family that were already here no I pressured my Bell and MOA and how old are you I'm 21 21 and uh how long you've been coming to the church um I moved to Gainesville when I was 17 and I've been coming here for 3 years good good um why are you doing this today so I grew up in a Christian home with Christian parents um and I had a really good upbringing with my faith with god um when I was 16 I had a really dark um emotional really bad depression hole um and I got out of it with God and having a really strong faith um and when I was 17 I graduated high school and moved to college here in Gainesville um and um um I I started hanging out with the wrong people um and started dating the wrong boy and then within a year I got the most furthest I ever have from God to the point where I couldn't even recognize myself um and slowly afterwards me me and him separated I had it took a lot of time to heal and um I made a promise to myself I was never going to lose myself to a man or to any other one or any other addiction or anything like that again um so thank you um and so for a year I volunteered I went to young adults um I went to and I helped minist in kids pack I did stuff in the cafe so I did I did other things and that I could help around and keep my mind busy from things I wasn't supposed to be thinking about um and from there you kind of D me drew me closer to God in ways I didn't realize I could um and I've been wanting to get baptized for a while it's been on my heart and I finally got myself to do it we're so proud of you and never would I imagine you were in depression with the big smile that you have but it seems genuine the Lord is restored you he's he's he's lit the light in you again right absolutely what would you say to anyone who's struggling with dark depression um God definitely uses your pain as a lesson and he uses it for your testimony and his timing is the most beautiful thing that you could ever ask for so great I baptize you in the name of the Father the Son Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit joking that's real yes Y and uh why did you start coming um I was watching you on television and I'm like I want to go to this man church I was like where's this man church at and I just kept watching I said I'm going to Google him so I Googled you and I'm like oh my God is in is he got a um Church in Georgia so I went to Midtown because I stayed 6 minutes away from there I'm like no I got to see my pastor I'm like I'm going to Gainesville and they it was like where is the all the way I said well I drive all the way for church I mean for work so I can drive all the way to church you know so yeah yeah so um I received then I received the Holy Ghost I'm a I was a backslider I'm from Church of God Pentecost I was growing up in Holiness and um I um received the Holy Ghost August the 23rd and now I just need another dip you're about to get it but it's not in August yes yes you know I've been through a lot um in the last um 3 years um I had like over 10 family members to pass my mom my dad my sister my dad Three Brothers his mother then my granddaddy then my nephew so it been a lot but you know what God have gave me peace and he gave me joy in my life and I'm just so happy you know I'm happy I'm happy you know you got people they look for happiness and peace in the wrong places so I didn't have family members to turn to drugs and all kind of things because of the tragedy that we have been through but my peace it's in Jesus you know you can keep doing drugs and you can keep doing alcohol but it's only temporary but see what God has hallelujah it's forever and he done gave me some peace I'm telling you like I just got peace in my life I have a son right now he's in jail and he's lost his mind and but God got him I'm just going through a lot but God gave me peace though I'm toight I can sleep I don't have no worries because I gave it to God my son he loan my son to me and I gave him back I'm like God I'm giving you back your child because if I take it I lose my mind so I had to give them back so hey all praises to God and I'm just so excited like I'm just ready to see what God has for me you know Hallelujah hey hallelujah hallelujah thank you Jesus Hallelujah hey I've been struggling with Suicidal Thoughts this year I didn't feel worthy for anything and I just I want to put all that I just want to put all that away I've had a lot of loss and I just I just need be in the Revival any yeah every single day really what did you think about it what what did it mean to you um the day that it started I let go of a lot of things that I was wrapped up in bondage with and I had no idea that it was going to start that day so I was healed from so many things during that so it was it was really good it's great and and what do you why are you doing this today um two years ago I started having like really bad depression struggling with mental health anxiety so bad I was on anti-depressants and I was trying trying everything from the world to fill this void that was there like alcohol and all that stuff and it never did and then I had one of my really close friends that I've been close with for a long time a shelle she's over there somewhere and um she invited me to Free Chapel Youth and from then on it was just a 180 of my life so so she invited your friend invited you to the youth group and what happened what began to happen there what touched you about what was happening on in in our youth services which is Wednesday nights Wednesday nights at 7 o00 something like that at the other campus right down the road yeah um I watched all of my friends that I made how they were trusting the Lord and his plan for them and how they all have beautiful testimonies too and I love to listen to those because it makes me feel like you know I'm surrounded with all the right people now because I wasn't before um and one night I just fell to my knees and I was crying and I was like well this is it and I gave my life to the Lord that is so great that is name Paul La Paul uh how long you've been coming to Free Chapel for about a year good what how did you hear about the church uh once I came to the Christmas Spectacular I felt the Holy Spirit uh fill me and fill this church yeah the Christmas Spectacular reached you yes it did were you in church did you did you go to church anywhere I've been born and raised in church and grew up as a Baptist and um when I was going to church I was going to church to go to church and to raise my family but this church has actually filled me with the spirit and it just moved me and it just made me feel closer to God I love that especially as a dad I just love that what you want to say anything else yeah um I'm asking for guidance from God because I feel like um I run a computer repair business and I've been running for 18 years and roughly about 17 hours a day every day um and I just felt like I've pushed away God pushed away my family focused on the business and I know that's not what God's plan is and I ask him for a clear Direction and U for me to do something else because I I can't keep doing this to my family or to to people that are around me that love me and so actually he's put into my heart to um start a new business that I can pass on to my children and it would be involving roughly making about 35 inventions and uh that would uh benefit the world and God well that's a dream God can bless and Lord I just pray you stir up those witty inventions inside of him that's a Bible phrase by the way that God would give us witty inventions and that you would use his mind and his talents and his gifts and that you would let the burden be light and the Yoke easy and that you would help him and bless his family for Generations I pray that in jesus' name and I baptize you in the name of amazed at how you guys put things together and it's impressing that it was it was just so impressing to me how God move me and and I've been praying that I will find the the church that I was looking for cuz previously I did I knew God but I wasn't know him that much well and I've been praying that and I would I will find a church that I would I would love going to so I God has sent us here and I'm so happy to be here and I'm loving in your your service and it really it really touches me and helps me to to better understand God more and I really want my children to start coming to church and dedicated my life to Jesus uh got saved and then reality hit uh after going to school um that summer and and the my spark of fire for Jesus was fading away and it was uh cold for many years and uh in July uh I got invited with uh Pastor Benji's daughter to a motion conference and when I went there it was Immaculate I gave my life to rededicated my life to Jesus so I was reborn again um and we've been waiting for four months since uh trying to get baptized so yeah wow you've been waiting four months we need to do we need to do a better job my goodness that's amazing well we're so proud of you relationship with God is really important and I've just always put it off but um I'm 18 and I just started college so I just feel like there's more that I could be doing to just further my relationship with God and I just feel so St look right now and I just want a new start and but you saw Jesus in your mother didn't you you see Jesus in your mother is that your mother good praise the Lord but but the way you were looking at her I assume she was but I know she's proud of you and there's no limit to what God can do in your life you got to know that and this is the beginning of a enough and these kids has moved from just being in my head to being on my heart being a single mother having to raise them and having that burden and responsibility to raise these kids the way that they should be yes so it's time and just having them and them deciding that they wanted a relationship yes and God answered prayers yes he is I baptize you in the name of the Father the Son Jesus uh how old are you um I'm 16 16 we're proud of you why are you doing this today I believe my calling and my purpose is to minister especially to my generation and I know that because I know that because throughout my life even as a young boy 5 years old I've always wanted to preach you know I get back from church I beg my mom don't let me take off my suit yet my dad uh built me a Podium and so in my room I would just be going at it Bible open notebooks open had a drum set my cousin used to play the drums and you know we used to go at it and now being 16 and growing no matter where I look where I go there's opportunities and the doors open and I every time I get excited for and that's how I know that has to be my calling can't can't not be my call so this this is a step can you uh can could you do anything else was there something else you really like and you wish you could do it and if could you do it I want to be an agricultural engineer um basically that's a fancy word for Farmer but but um I want to be an agriculture engineer and kind of help cultivate God's land and and rebuild it regenerate the the world that he's created and make it a better place for for us ((music playing)) but either way you're going to be about the Harvest and I I believe the Lord has called you I believe the Lord has his hand on you you may be both don't don't limit God he's doing a new thing he's doing a new thing in the earth and he'll bless you in one way and bless you another but preach his gospel let him let him prepare you for greatness in that area and I just Rejoice with you that's a that's a rehab program that does amazing work and they bring a bunch of people here every Sunday we love that Ministry and uh and you're seeing a change in your life oh yeah big change how how long have you been sober and clean for 3 months for 3 months yes sir this is the beginning then of a brand new life for you never going back no sir I've been drinking since I was 5 years old you've been drinking since you were 5 years old yes sir and I've been doing drugs since I was 13 how did you start drinking at 5: uh they were putting in my baby bottle and so I could go to sleep and when I got in middle school I started doing the drugs so I'm tired of it so at 13 you started doing drugs yes sir now I've been doing it too long I'm tired of it ready to get my last streight it's time and this is your time this is your moment we love you so much Lord thank you for setting him free in the mighty name of Jesus Hallelujah Lord now we baptize him in the name of the Father the Son past 20 a little bit over 20 years uh incarceration I've done a little bit over 16 years incarcerated I've been out for about a year and a half and uh prison messed me up this past time uh with mental health uh just had to shut my heart off to everybody because the violence the gangs and all that stuff um my pastor uh found me hanging from a tree about five months ago and that's what landed me in good good Landings what do you mean your pastor found you I got a pastor in um in flower branch cuz I moved over there with my grandparents and uh I got I just got real high and uh I was so sick of life because I don't it's been so long since I've Been Loved I didn't know how to take love and uh so I decided try to kill myself and my pastor found I don't know it was God because I was way down in because of tradition my mom four five six maybe six years old this is my time now this is my time now because of bad decision or or choices that I made one thing I can say never ever ever make a decision on emotions because your emotion cause you years of paint and I did that I did that marrying a wrong person if God don't tell you yes he don't tell you no that means stand still and do nothing stand still and do nothing because the devil's out to destroy your Divine Purpose he's there to destroy your to stop your Divine Purpose it wasn't revealed at 17 years of my life God did not reveal this to me until about two years ago been divorced three years he showed me last year what I was dealing with and he showed me you're dealing with a person I I'm I was naive very naive person wasn't in the world he showed me Tina you're dealing with a purp with narcissistic personality disorder and if anybody know what that is you know what you know but right now God is I my prayer was is God heal me deliver me and help me to move forward and also not only that pray for my enemies and pray for deliverance and that is what God is doing for me right now I tell you thank you woo Jesus I thank you and I bless God and I bless His holy name you know when job prayed for his friends when he prayed for people that had hurt him the Bible said God restored him double God restored him double both grew up in you know Christian families been in church our whole lives and um difference between her and me she chose never to get baptized until she was ready I chose at 18 to do it to please my father you know and now I want to do it for heavenly father with her and support her and uh being recently married we just love being together want to make sure that we spend eternity up there together too ((applause)) sweet you want to say anything else no well I just want to thank parents for their prayers for us and uh you know now stop writing on their prayers and gain strength on their telling me you know telling me what's right what's wrong and then as I started to get older I started to Veer out into the world thought that I knew what was best but you know through experience and all that I realized I knew nothing um so yeah when I got older I just I went out new sorry um but yeah how I actually got saved on July 10th of this year I was outside cutting my grass listening to a podcast and um it wasn't even a Christian podcast but the guy said that Christians are supposed to be in the world and not of the world and I had to just stop and realize like I had been trying to find who I was through worldly things you know and that wasn't that got me so cutting the grass so so parents and family had swn seeds into you about Jesus you had you had been ra raised in church but cutting the grass yes God spoke to you yes sir yeah and so I just had to sit there and realize I was trying to find who I was through worldly things and this world's a terrible place so why would I want to find who I am through those things and that was that night you know I just had to I had to give my my life to Jesus so so you weren't in church did did you uh did you just kind of kneel down or did you just say it Lord how did how did you do it this is powerful right um well my grandma actually was at home at my house and you know she's real real in touch with the Lord and I just went to her she had been praying for me she had been anointing my door frames everything you know yeah so I just talked with her and I was like you know I'm ready to make this decision is your grandmother here today she is she's ready stand up grandmother thank God for that anointing oh never give up never give up never give up never give up never give up never give up never give up never give up never give up never give up so she would you you did she know like did she do it in was she one of those that did it in secret or did she do it like right into your face she do it in both she come into my room she like God has a plan for you this was when I was in my my deepest darkest day she God has a plan for you and I was just like I don't want to hear it you know like please but she was still she recently moved to good in August and I actually started coming in August did somebody invite you or you just saw it or what no I used to live in Athens and I attended Athens Church and I wanted to find something like that and a church I even loved even more and so I Googled churches near me and conveniently enough four minutes down the road was Free Chapel so I came down and after the first day I felt like this was my home wow and and so what has the Lord done for you that made you want to get baptized I was tired of running away from God I was incredibly lost for a very long time and I was in a a deep dark hole and Jesus pulled me out of it and he showed me the light and ever since I surrendered myself to him he gave me peace joy and love that I have been searching for my entire life in the wrong places he's he's Lord of your life isn't he and that light shines through you I baptize you in the name of the Father the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit bless her Lord hallelujah hallelujah hallelujah thank you Jesus thank you Lord you're doing great thank you're doing great take your time one more step was warm what's your name Mon and why are you doing this today how long you been coming to the church well I've been coming to this church for about 15 years but not actually physically in the building I was watching you okay for over 15 years I moved from New York to Maryland and I was watching you on the word network wow and you know what amazed me about you I had never really saw a white preacher before I grew up in Harlem so what what I I I never saw a white preacher but the spirit that filled you blew my mind I watched you for 15 years and I was Mo I was moving and I never thought I would move to Georgia you know when you're Northern or South is not really where you want to go no disrespect but um none taken and I watched you Pastor year after year after year and I remember manifesting something something and I said if I ever get the opportunity to visit that church and I didn't know where you were so when my family started migrating down here my niece who's probably in the audience she was like you heard her and and she said to me she said um move down to Georgia I was like Georgia why would I move to Georgia so she was like just move down here and I was like okay I was living in Baltimore my mom we came down unfortunately my mom got really sick and I'm going to try to give you the really short version because it's a powerful message in this when she got sick the family outside of that niece cuz I don't want to take offense but the family didn't come like they said they was going to come and I F by myself and my mother died me and her was besties and I felt alone but as God begin to move in me I realized that I wasn't alone he needed me to be alone so that I could depend strictly and totally on him yes so outside of loving you and knowing that I'm manifested that I'm here now I remember you spoke about the chyros timing which is God's perfect timing I'm here now because God is ready to move on my life like never before I'm in it for whatever he has and I'm just glad that he chose you to be my leader well I am honored I am honored you belong here and we love you I baptize you in the name of the Father the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit praise God I like the way she did that did y'all see that she said I like months um I'm in the ya uh shout out Sarah shout out Kevin Gonzalez David Ramirez uh the other Sarah uh all you guys Steven Littlefield Terry Littlefield for plugging me in um I uh young adults they meet on what night uh every other Tuesday every other Tuesday um so just a little bit about me uh I started using drugs at the age of 13 maybe 12 um and I'm 27 now um I I hit a um so basically I hit a bottom uh April 2022 so about a year and a half ago I was in jail and um I I called my mom and I told her you know this just isn't it anymore this isn't how I want to live um I've been pretty much getting my laws my love acceptance worth and security through fake things um through materialistic things through temporary things my entire life I've been living for my own will and not God's and um so last year I I checked myself in a no longer bound a rehab of um a faith Rand facility and um I I did 15 months there and um before I got there I didn't I didn't really know God I've been baptized a couple of times but it was with the wrong motives and um so going there it uh it showed me before I got there I didn't have in a relationship any relationship with God and um today I can say I have an intimate relationship with God self and others um what would you say to anybody who's struggled with addiction how do they get what's what do they need to do um well today I want to say that I am grateful for my addiction because without my addiction I would have never hit that bottom and I would never be where I am today and where I'm sitting right now so turn it turn it toward Jesus and give it to him he can handle it you can't yes sir I baptize you in the name of the Father the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit bless him Lord everybody ((applause)) Rejoice I'm going to pray I'm going to pray a prayer just remain seated one moment I'm going to I pray this prayer in conclusion but I want everybody in this room to raise your right hand and say Jesus what I've heard today I believe I believe I believe in you I believe in the power of the cross I believe in the resurrection ction and I believe in the name of Jesus I thank you for the families that have experienced Miracles through these testimonies and Lord let it work in my life say this Wash Me cleanse me save me restore me I turn my life completely over to you and I receive you as the Lord Of My Life in Jesus name amen I'm
