Free Chapel College yes I'm Madison Harper I'm the young adults coordinator here and they call me m so if you hear that I'm also M amazing amazing and we have a incredible topic here today Madison what are we talking about yeah so today we're going to talk about salvation to endurance what does it mean to be saved how do we stay saved um if anyone here is listening or watching us and you want to know what does it mean to be saved Jordan why don't you start us off and I think like salvation's one of those things where it's a really interesting topic because it's a theological thing so sometimes you want to tune out or you may not want to be involved in the conversation but like this is an important factor for salvation this this is the difference between heaven and hell when it comes to receiving Jesus but simply put uh we fell short we made a decision to not trust and to not follow God so if you look at the story of Adam and Eve at the beginning God out of his love and his Mercy decided to create everything and he set a standard in motion he's a perfect God he's a holy God he has a standard it was not set set by us it was not set by our culture or our standards that was a standard set by him and Adam and Eve like let's be honest here they had one tree that they were not allowed to eat of God put the cards in our favor like there were any tree that they would have wanted any tree but they picked the one that God said hey do not eat from that tree and they did and because of their Disobedience sin entered the world now sin simply is just missing a mark like a mark yet again a standard set by God and since we miss that Mark sin enters the equation but Godly he is not comp with so what end up happing we fast forward through the oldest all the way to the new Jesus who we believe is God came to the Earth put on flesh and Skin and Bones to come and save us so he did for us what we could not do for ourselves so the beautiful thing about uh our Christianity and our story not any other religion is every other religion tells you you got to work your way to God but our story God comes down to us and saves us so the standards that were set in motion we could not live up to and especially if you ever read the Old Testament and you look at these rules and these laws and you ever like I can't I can't do this that's the point so even when Jesus is speaking and he's like hey you've heard it said don't commit adultery but I say even if you have the thought of it you've already sent well everybody in the room goes man i i s all the time then bro cuz my mind is dirty like like not me personally I got a clean mind you know what I mean I'm about to say cut cut the tape cut the tape his mind dirty I'm good got a dirty mind don't sit but what's incredible is Jesus says that and there's not a single person in the crowd that goes okay yeah I don't have that problem right every person in the crowd and every single time that we preach everybody in the audience should go I can't do that yeah and God goes I know so that's why I came to this Earth so we believe that he died on a cross and he put took on our sin our shame and then when he died he uh descended uh and and for three days came back and rose again and then levitated in the clouds and gave us the Holy Spirit to and andw us to us so yeah that's how you end up getting saved simping his finish work it's not about working towards it it's about just simply receiving it yeah yeah and I think the foundational thing too in terms of now what you said how do I take that and apply it to me I think it's two simple things I think it's you know confessing with your mou as the Bible says and believing in your heart and I think a lot of times we do altar calls and people confess yeah but I think we got to help people understand that what you are confessing to is now an understanding that you are coming to a place of believing and I think that's what we can start to is helping people understand what am I believing and I think you hit some of those points home that God created that Jesus came he died he rose like that's part of the foundational belief system so yeah yeah yeah and even Faith like we always say like have faith in God belief but in reality one of the greatest definitions of faith is divine persu which means a lot of times if you're already considering Jesus the persuasion probably already started it's just like you said understanding what he did now you'll never like for us never be able to fully comprehend everything that he has ever done to me I always look at it it's like as if like I look at an antill and I see them hurting each other and they're in trouble and I go I should become an ant but and like you it sounds so stupid but like in reality like that's what God did but even more like that's what's incredible about this story and this grace and uh yeah I think I I love that you said that like you know I think it's important that this idea of being saved isn't I now know fully I Now understand I got it figured out I'm good yeah no no no no I think salvation is key to Pursuit yes salvation is the start of seeking the Salvation is the start of finding knocking and asking and I think I I just want to Rel leave any pressure uh to any to you that's watching um today um when you confess and now believe just get in your mind that I'm now just pursuing and gaining understanding cuz you know we don't want to compare but you know we've been save for quite some time but we are still on a journey of seeking finding and discovering you know and I think there is a level of pride and arrogance to think that you know just because we've got saved or we've been saved for two three years years that now we know God we know all the things about God and that's not true God is still revealing himself God is still Illuminating his word but Salvation is just a beautiful journey to continue to continue to discover this God that we serve and all his Beauty you know oh you go ahead Madam I think the um stigma to Salvation is that you know people want to figure it out and then get saved and then come to Jesus and then come to the Cross glad and the whole point of Salvation is to say hey this is a new beginning like this that's where it starts salvation's not the destination it's the it's the beginning it's the like it's the start of the journey you don't have to figure it all out to then become saved you figure it out after you become saved for most of us I mean for me that's how it was you know I was young when I got saved I'm a pastor's kid um but that means that I had to figure everything out after I got saved I never had it together at the age of six you know I didn't know yeah um yeah but that was the beginning that was the choice I made to say hey I want to be saved you know yeah but people say that and and I'll let you chime in Skyler because you're about to say something but how many times have we heard people say that like oh I can't come to CH I can't get I gotta get some things in order right I'm like if you waiting to get things in order you going to be waiting until you leave this earth and then the Rapture going to come and you going to be stuck like lord it's like no but like you know I love that you said that cuz I think that's freeing people up that like it starts the journey Journey like you don't have to have this thing figured out and you don't have to like have it all together to God will take us in our mess he will take us and our all of us I meant some of us not sky sky Skyler has been saved all her little life since the womb oh Lord but for us heathens up here um you know God took us in a a low place and moment and as we pursued him he begin to perfect us he begin to purify us he begin to sanctify us so I think it's important to really know that that you don't have to have it all figured out yeah I was just going to I love that we're talking about the journey and the implication that there's a process and in any Journey there's like you know there's downhill Parts where Walkin a little easier and then we go uphill and then it gets a little bit more difficult and I think I'm thinking back to when I first really made the choice like I grew up in a Christian household but like when I made the choice in high school like okay I'm going to make the decision for myself I confess with my mouth not my parents mouth not my pastor's mouth with my mouth I'm making the public confession and I believe in my heart again not having everything figured out but believing in my heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior and so I made that choice for myself and for about a year I was like you know I'm I'm in my word you know studying doing all the things as a 16-year-old knows what to do but then came New Year's of I think it was 2016 New Year's 2016 and I felt the Lord be like this is the year that you're going to pick up your cross and walk and I said what does that mean I thought you did that I thought that was your thing and so that was your thing but that came a year of me being stretched and I went to again just a little story time so we get to know each other we're family now but um I went to a school that was huge my graduating class was a thousand from Birmingham Alabama we're all tied um any who but uh my high school was awesome and huge but I because our school's so huge I kind of like went in the background a little bit I didn't like I wasn't super super bold I wasn't this personality then um so I kind of just went through the motions and I felt the Lord challenging me to be a light in my school to let my school become my mission field and I feel like God might be challenging you watching this if you're in college or High School wherever you find yourself at even the workplace this can be applicable but anyway back to the story um I felt the Lord kind of challenging me to go up to people sitting alone in the lunchroom and just invite them to sit with me it's like okay God a little weird but I'll do that that's a little easy if that's what picking up your cross and walking is we can do that was it like you walked up and you're like what you got there I should have Ed that line I did not use that line I did more of the approach of hey I know this is a little weird but me and my friend sit over here you're always welcome to sit with us um and usually the answer was no so I was like God why why are we doing this but anyway get away from me right started right it started with that but then God transitioned it to okay now I want you to go to those people sitting alone and tell them that Jesus loves you and whatever you're going through is going to be okay yeah said we didn't agree on this I thought I was just inviting them to with us so it progressed to that for a couple months and then God was like okay you've done that now I want you to go to each in each of your classrooms at the end of class I want you to stand up and tell your class wow hey I don't know what you're going through but Jesus loves you and whatever you're going through is going to be okay and my school was not a tiny school our classes were like 50 deep like it was like and I was not a bold personality so it was a scary thing and then it transitioned from all eight of my classes doing that to God's like okay now I want you to ride this bus P to the it's like the ratchet bus it was the bus that had three to a seat people fighting people cussing all the things right like God we School Bus show it for those who know if you know you know but it went to that and I was like God I don't even have to ride the bus why are you calling me to this he's like I want you to tell them the same thing I've been encouraging you to tell these other people and so then I got on this bus heart pounding I remember I had my earbuds in and I was listening to do it again my elevation I like like I've seen you move God please help me please and so at the end I S I get up I said hey guys I know this is kind of R the whole bus looking at me like cuz I'm in the front row front seat and the whole bus stops and looks like this and I was like um I know this is kind of random but I just want to let you know that Jesus loves you and whatever you're going through is going to be okay and there's this pause and then they're like thank you shotty the whole bus like erup like we're gonna have a good day but anyway so to say is though that was my mission field it was like a burden it wasn't like I would pull up to school and my heart would sink it wouldn't always feel like this beautiful Journey it was beautiful when me and it was just me and the Lord at Bible study and small group with my friends at church and at conferences but then when it came to walking it out that's when it became really difficult for me and that's when it became enduring and that's when it became God I need your strength daily to do what you're calling me to do and it was from That season of private like faithfulness that God then had me the next school year preaching at school and doing things of that sort so again then we got a little bit more downhill it was still tough but it's a different level of going up to strangers and then at least for me personally but what was the name of your high school my high school is Hoover High School she was pastor of Hoover Church go God in Alabama Christ for Christ's sake but just the realness of it's it's nice and you know we get saved in but it's truly the beginning of a journey yeah but I think you said something that I think is important to really touch on really quickly um we talked about confessing what with our mouths and believing in our heart believing what yes obviously there's believing you know that he died and things of that nature but there's also a belief in submission to he's Lord yes Lord over what Lord over my mind Lord over my will very good Lord Over My Heart Lord over my emotions it's like like and what that practically means is that as I'm processing things mentally I'm like giving him the autonomy to do what he needs to do man I'm having these thoughts you're my Lord so I give them to you God I have these feelings of struggling to navigate this I give my heart to you God my will is to go back to the club but I'm asking you by your spirit to help me so I'm giving my will to you there's a verbal communication but a heart posture of like I know what I want to do I know what I used to do but I'm again through confession and belief telling you that you are Lord over it all and I think when we do that the Holy Spirit really comes into that space and begins to move in our life yeah cuz I think like the hardest thing actually within it when it comes to our faith is the belief aspect it is really the hardest thing because you can do a lot of like really good things but in reality like the hardest thing for us is actually the belief and I love how you guys have shot this out there it's like what are you saved from well I'm saved from my sins yes but what am I saved for well now I'm on a mission to reach other people but also as well the beautiful thing about salvation is a lot of times when we get saved we don't realize this but there's this transportation that happens where God's eyes begin to not view you but what he does is he sees his perfect son so now when Jesus took our place that means when God looks at you he sees his son which means you are actually in perfect relationship with them so a lot of times when people like sin or they mess up like Romans is a great uh letter great book to read uh but it talks about this descriptiveness of like you know how does God view you but it's like therefore no condemnation he doesn't view you as he's angry and he's mad he's actually viewing you with a smile and his face is shining upon you and a lot of times like when we sin or we get in these habits or these different things we think that God is now Angry and now the Wrath is back yeah it's not true yeah because forgiveness not only does it work backwards it has to work forward because if Jesus died on the cross it doesn't stop 2,000 years after yeah it continues so that's the beautiful thing about I love y'all are talking about is about this Mission now so now that I am forgiven now you know what my job is to H everybody else they can be forgiven yeah that's my God that's my God that's my job now that's my God and that's my job that's my God that's my job that's a t-shirt right there but I just I just want to cuz I I want to take just a little deeper because I love that like understanding the mission because I think the more we have an understanding of the why um and and even down to the what we can do to you know get to a place of doing and getting on the mission but a part of that salvation you talked about the son understanding that you you have sinned Jesus died for that he got that taken care of but through that there's justification and I think you we have to understand for those of you who are watching you're Justified because you have an accuser who wants to accuse you to make you believe that you're still a sinner that you're still ratchet that you can never come out of the things that you're in he he keeps accusing you accusing you and those lies are trying to bog you down but Jesus is saying like I went to the Heavenly courts to justify you so he's looking at you know the father saying no no no no Dad she good mat's good like remember I di she's Justified I'm speaking on her behalf with intercession you know what I mean so I think and then you have regeneration which is sanctification that through that process now of being justified you have the Holy Spirit um who's going to come and begin the process of purifying your mind and your heart and your thoughts your actions and things of that nature and then there's security to know that like no matter what I go through no matter what I do no matter where I'm at like I'm secure yeah cuz I think one of the aspects of Salvation that is missing from a practical perspective is security hence why we have so much striving why we have so much comparing why we have so much guilt and shame it's like no you're SEC you're stamped like you're good you don't have to now CU I thought about this like in terms of like salvation and I don't want to get this is a whole another topic but just for conversation purposes people talk about forgiveness we're like oh you got to repent and people pray like Lord forgive me like we don't have to pray for forgiveness because he's already did it you hit it it he did it 2,000 years ago but it's set for the future so as I Repent part of Salvation is step into a space that I'm stamped that I'm already forgiven that's the security I don't have to keep beating myself up I just have to get back on the horse of Grace and keep this thing moving yeah cuz forgiveness like like you said I don't have to pray for forgiveness again but when it comes between you and me if I do something against you I now have to go to you and say will you forgive me will you forgive what I've done for you and so it's the idea too as well like now that you have been saved it's that doesn't mean you can turn up and do whatever you want we talk about the process but like I think one of the things that hinders us with that process is realizing that we are are on a journey realizing that like hey if I make a mistake now like this can change later yeah absolutely now I I'm just throwing this up there because all right that's kind of Salvation I think the hard part is endurance like yes I don't want to say necessarily staying saved because there's theological debates about once saved always saved I don't want to go on the weeds in terms of that but I do want to practically help our audience and those who are uh watching or listening um how do we endure how do we stay on that path of Salvation and living for Jesus I think it's all about trust like I think we it's easy that's the churchy thing to say you just trust him you know you're going through something hard just trust him but like actually trusting him um believing that he does justify you that he speaks on your behalf all those things that's something I've been dealing with lately just being transparent here is wanting to like prove yourself or you know feeling insecure about certain things or wanting people to think no I want them to know my heart like I want to you know speak on these things or want to tell them that I didn't mean that or this and it's like I heard the Lord recently tell me like do you not trust me and I'm like what do you mean like yes I trust you but like I need to tell them you know that this happened or I didn't mean it this way or whatever and it's like he's like no I'm speak I go before you you know like I am fighting that battle for you do you do you actually trust me to fight your battles or you going to say you trust me and then you're going to keep trying to fight your battles and I'm like like okay you know I I do trust you and it's just been the season of like not sitting back and not doing anything and like if you do something to hurt someone obviously you know go to them talk about it you know I'm all for confrontation and speaking on things but if it's something that you're just you know in your heart that the Lord's going to fight your battles and you know that they know your heart and you're like just feeling insecure about it and you just want to speak your peace like no just sit down and for for myself Madison sit down and like let him fight your battles just trust trust him you know and something else to piggyback off that we have to make the choice to trust but we also have to make the choice to show up like when it's time to pick up our cross and walk it's time to pick up our cross and walk the beautiful thing that we've been echoing is there's free will we have the free will to be saved like God has offered that gift to all of us we have to choose that gift and just as we chose Salvation let's not forget we have to choose the mission too we can't pick and choose what we're we're I Choose You To Be My Savior but Lord you can keep that it's not we're not choosing here we need to make the choice of God I trust you you've saved my life I put my trust in you but I am going to now show up and trust you and I'm going to show up and God whatever Mission you call me to because I am justified through Christ because you have traded you've taken on my sin and made me in right standing and and literally the Lord God sees us as Jesus like how beautiful is that but because of that I am no longer Skylar no longer has lordship over Skyler right right Jesus God has lordship over Skyler so whatever he says it's almost this daily Moment by moment really invitation to okay in this moment I'm G to let Jesus be the Lord of my life and I'm going to do this and again we're GNA fall we're GNA fail I've had I had days back in high school where i' F I like how she said that back in high school she she didn't have no day last week I about to set it up as in yesterday but I would have days in high school now where it's like I'd feel the Lord be like go tell them I love them and I would make the choice of God I just don't feel like being bold right now and you know what there is Grace for that I'm not saying we live in that like you're saying we can't just make the choice to live any kind of way but there's Grace for our shortcomings but at the end of the day we just have to show up yeah and you said something that you talked about like Free Will and then Choice man there's great Bible verses we we quote them all the time but one is choose this day who you'll serve yes right and even that Bible verse is like basically you're choosing who's Lord either you or God yes and I love even Deuteronomy I think it's 30 and 19 it says I lab for you Witnesses you know um you know you have uh life or death blessings or curse choose so what we have to understand in the context of that Bible verse is that like what we choose is either choosing life or death blessing a curse but just know if you choose God it's life and it's blessing if you don't choose God it's going to be death and all these other sorts of crazy things but bringing it to a practical perspective is that what does that look like on the dayto day that's choosing like okay am I going to be in my word or just play video games all day good if I'm in Conflict am I going to yell curse and now hold bitterness and gossip or am I going to now like resolve it have conversation and I can't control what the other person does but I can now make a conscious decision to my ination if I'm hanging around people and toake that I go against my biblical am I choosing to just follow them or just say you know what guys y know my standard I'mma head out those are the even down to like private moments you talked about in the private I just want to be candid I know this is a little cringey having this convers saying this part in front of two women shout out to my wife I love you honey but but like you know those who are navigating sexual immorality you know MB and those things like choosing in that moment am I going to like choose God andain or am I going to succumb to my desire and my want and choose me you're you're saying that I'm Lord when you decide that so even in those practical things on a day-to-day basis even apologizing to someone that's choosing God over yourself and that's displaying that he's Lord but that helps I believe develop endurance and staying in the thing love You' talked about pick up your cross you've talked about trust like the verse deny yourself pick up your cross and follow me if you go back to the original language when Jesus says deny yourself what everybody would have heard was Sabbath was rest so he actually is saying like deny yourself which means rest rest in what like like the cross the cross is a murder tool yeah I I get my theology out here you know what I mean but like the cross was a murder murder school like we always go like across nowadays like yo it's on somebody's necklace like this is the representation of Christianity like to be honest with you you got the chain she got that BL but like in reality back in the day if you would have brought that that wasn't a Christian symbol like that was a murder torture tool so Jesus is like rest in my finished work and then follow me so it is comes from a place of rest first yeah like that's where we have to start from and even when you're talking about like hey like like these little moments of like you start feeling s or you start feeling Temptation start to come up to you the idea of resting from that place the one thing about God what he will do the holy spirit is so good at yeah he will add conviction and he will put something in your heart prior to doing something so prior to masturbating to prior to doing something sexually immoral prior to saying something prior to gossip he will start to do something in your heart and that's the goal we talked about being Sanctified being transformed to be like Jesus you'll start to go I don't know if I want to do this anymore because like you said the death your feelings will begin to change because you're like I don't know if I really want to do this and the beautiful thing is that that's God saying like I know cuz you're supposed to resemble me yeah yeah it's so funny cuz you said that you go you know you'll start to have that conviction and I'm just going to get in our pastor back because you didn't open that door but I thought about this I talked about this some time ago um I believe it's John 168 or9 it says the holy spirit will come see through a relationship with Jesus the holy spirit is now illuminated and ready to do a work and be available and accessible to us we just have to have the sensitivity to it but you know Jesus told them that the holy spirit will come and reprove you yes that word reprove has two meanings to a convince you that a God is Lord It's better his way and you don't want to do this like you know what I mean but then convict you to a place of like you're right I don't I don't need to do this I need to stay away from that yeah I thought you about to say something no I'm good I was going to say I love this is so good because on the Journey of like picking up our cross and walking and just the mission and all of this and it's this journey to being Christlike and all of that but I just think though there's hardships and though there's struggles like what you're saying Jordan is like just emphasizing in my heart as we walk we just it just is so much better his way and he we will continue to see how good CPA There He Go sing it again you guys he love to sing need a worship sing just H at me but I just think it's beautiful that though the journey has really tough moments and really beautiful moments that Jesus God is continually revealing to us how good he is and how much he so loves each of us yeah yeah that's just my my heart's just grateful and the part of Salvation is understanding that hardships isn't necessarily you're doing anything wrong so good so I think that's important to CU I think we have developed at times as you know Believers in Christ that when we go through a tough time oh man am I doing something wrong I'm just here to encourage you don't let the enemy get into your mind and make you think that you're wrong you're bad or you're still in the same life there's just testing and trials that is just trying to mold Christlike character in you that's it so what you may be experiencing is just you coming into a space of getting your spiritual tools sharpened yes getting your spiritual character and Christlike character developed yeah so hang in there don't get in your head don't say God doesn't love me don't say God has abandoned me I'm trying to tell you he is right there with you he's just allowing you to go through a refining process for what he want because we talked about the mission like how can I go on the mission if I'm not equipped or I don't go through basic training camp yeah yeah cuz a lot of us get saved and we have this idea of discipling and going to the world and preaching the gospel but God knows what we need to accomplish the assignment and if we're not sort of going through boot camp we going to get out there and get jacked up like I mean oh snap what is this so I want to talk a little bit because we just keep we keep talking about like the mission and what that looks like but I want to speak to the person that may be watching and like I'm not in full-time Ministry or I'm not you know I'm just a volunteer I'm just at the church um the mission is also not in the church the mission is most not in the church um you know I think about I do hair on the side and and anyone who sits in my chair like that is my when I'm there like that is my mission is to speak to them in love and to show them like through I don't have to be like hey so do you go to church or where do you know as I'm like curling their hair but I can just like start speaking about the things that God's done in my life and that's my mission or you know going shopping with a friend you know if you run into someone and you feel the Lord on your heart that's your mission um it's not always just like being a pastor obviously because that's what you guys do but it's the other it's the other things you know I love I'd love to encourage someone who's watching it's like that's not me no it is it is yeah and two points I want to make before we go because I know our time's running out a little bit but I love in James when it says consider it pure joy when You Face Charles's ging in a sea I've never seen that before but consider it pure joy when You Face trials and many our faith is being perfected through the trials and again I know it's much easier said than done but like I love that you pointed it out like trials are not a sign that you're doing something wrong they're a sign that you're doing something right your faith is being perfected being encouraged in that and also the second thing I'll say is that yes there is a level of trial that comes from obviously we're dying to flesh that's hard we're going we're we're sacrificing the things that we used to like to cling to the to Jesus and the things he wants us to do that's the element of hard but there's also an enemy that we have to also just be aware of and the Beautiful Thing is right the beautiful thing is that we Jesus overcame the enemy so he's not like you know like even in his attacks there's Beauty to be found because Jesus turns all things around for the good of those who are in Christ Jesus but I do think it's important to know be encouraged when it's hard but also know that there's an enemy and we don't fight against flesh and blood so just having this awareness of the different kinds of Trials I guess I think is worth mentioning yeah and in those trials and stuff as you know Salvation affords again security that brings Authority yes so good so we want y'all and you know you guys watching and we have to remember this to continue to walk in that authority to speak against the enemy to declare God's goodness to speak God's word you know that's what Jesus did when he was tempted he W he operated in that Authority and spoke his father's business he showed it he stood on that word you know and I think to that point you know when we go through things having discernment and growing to understand you know is this God perfecting me is this an attack but no matter what walking that Authority exactly and I think it's maturity to know like when you're in it to recognize hey I'm in this and to just start speaking in your Authority and just knowing hey I'm going through this but I'm going to see it through I'm going to get to the other side because I think the outcome will be and the problem what will happen is like I use the term bunnies with young adults like they a lot of them are bunnies right and meaning like they hop around so as soon as Trials come like they hop they go somewhere else like they switch churches they switch friend groups they switch jobs because as soon as something that seems to be trouble like I got to hit the road I got to bounce right but like what I love is like numbers 131 14 won't go into the whole chapter it's two chapters long I don't want to like get y that but like uh what's interesting is like the Israelites say to Moses and Aaron like they're supposed to go to the promised land they're supposed to move forward but they're like see these Giants and they're like yo we're grasshoppers we're so small like we're no buies first off like they were spies they didn't have conversation with the like they didn't go there go Billy it's good to see man thinking about buying some property over here like they they didn't do that at all like they were spies they were watching and so they go back and they're so afraid to move forward that they think it's better to go backwards what's backwards it's slavery it's slavery to sin like they're not going to go back to Egypt and get like a round of applause when they walk back second off how are they going to get there God parted the Red Sea for them to get there in the first place there is no Miracle going backwards and sometimes we think like if things are bad for me are really bad what I should do is go back because it's less dangerous it is more dangerous to go back than it is to move forward so if you are in your faith the reason why he's saying you need to stand and push through isn't because we're trying to be these motivational speakers it's because it's the the sunship is the daughter that you have been given and the authority you've been given to stand and continue to move forward bro I'm still in that line by the way as we close there's no Miracle going backwards my goodness that's that's a bar that's good that's a bar that's good
