This is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and we will be exceedingly glad in it because God is good and he is worthy to be praised. He is good and worthy to be praised. Well, happy Monday everybody. We get to do another week and uh how many know there's a lot going on in the world.
I mean, wars right now, you can put a s on it. And uh yeah, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We pray for the peace of Israel. We're going to do that today. And uh we're going to we're just going to we're just going to get into what I believe we need to be doing on an everyday basis.
But um yeah, happy Monday and um just being grateful uh being grateful for uh today. Being grateful for being alive and well and thankful that you are able to see another day that you've never seen before. That's what I'm talking about. That's what I am talking about. Amen.
And so, uh, while, you know, the chaos is going around in the world, you know, I, uh, I'm going to just continue to just keep my eyes and my focus on the Lord Jesus Christ. For all is well with the Lord Jesus Christ. All is well with Jesus Christ.
And so, Father, we just pray this morning for the peace of Israel. We pray this morning over godly people that are caught up in conflict and and uh we ask that of course the will of God be done in this day and in this time. Um and I know Lord we can cast out devils but we can't cast out prophecy.
But we pray for peace right now. Absolutely. I don't know when it's going to come and how it's going to happen, but I know we we take up our spiritual armor this morning and we pray for peace. Yeah, we pray for peace in these United States of America, but we also pray for peace in Israel.
We pray for peace amongst the Palestinian. Uh let the will of God be done. But Lord, we have the power of prayer and uh we're just standing on on on the word. We're standing on what you say. You said to pray for those who are in authority that that we might have peace.
Hallelujah. So I pray for the prime minister of Israel. I pray for the the president of the United States. I pray for um leaders and heads of nations. And I declare in Jesus name that all will be well. And Father, I I know that that that things are coming to pass even as you spoke, but Lord, we're believers and we release your love.
We release the power of prayer. We release the power of peace right now. And we declare that let the will of God be done in Jesus' name. And we just give you praise for that. And we all agree. We come together and we agree in Jesus mighty name.
Peace, peace, peace in Jesus name. And everybody that agree with me say amen. Amen. So we we pray for we we release peace. We carry the peace of Jesus. We carry you know Jesus said my peace I leave you. You don't wait until everything's peaceful to pray for peace.
You know you you're you're praying for peace right in the middle of a conflict. Praise God. And you know what? While I'm at it, I announce peace over your life right now. I declare the peace of God be in your marriage. The peace of God be in your relationships.
The peace of God be in uh uh your your your relationship with your children. The peace of God on your job. Peace of God in your house, your neighborhood, your city, and your state. We declare peace right now in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. And amen. And amen.
Praise God. Listen, we're believers. We're Christian people, man. We, you know, we we're just going to we're just going to do what God's given us the ability to do. And that's why today I want to talk to you about the ministry of the Holy Spirit because if we ever needed to understand the ministry of the Holy Spirit, it is right now today.
We need to know about the ministry of the Holy Spirit. You have an unseen partner who is clothed with an enormous amount of power that he wants to share and put these clothes on you. Amen. And in the name of Jesus that we don't want to ignore the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives who will lead us and guide us into all the truth.
And right now with so much going on, uh it's we we have to know about our unseen partner. So, uh if you don't mind, I'm going to go ahead and um you know, we send blessings to wherever you are, uh logging in from. We're glad to have you with us.
But let's go ahead and handle some business this morning. Let's declare Psalms 91 and uh encourage people that are in conflict to join us as we declare Psalms 91 and believe that you receive it right now. There are real issues going on with families right now. You know, missing wives and children and and not just in war torn countries, but you know, in the United States, children are missing and that's never really bought out, but sex trafficking and all that stuff.
There's a lot of things going on and we are going to declare the Psalms 91 and we're going to believe it and stand on it. Release our faith in it in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. Let's do that. Say this out loud with me and mean it from your heart.
I will dwell in the shelter of the most high God. I will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. God is my refuge and my fortress. You are my God in whom I trust and with great confidence in whom I will rely. God will rescue me from every trap and protect me from every disease.
I am covered and protected by his outstretch arms. God's faithful promises are my armor and my protection. I will not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor of the arrows that fly in the day. I will not dread any disease that stalks in the darkness, nor any disaster that strikes at midday.
Because God is my refuge and the almighty God of my home, no evil can befall me and no plague can come near my dwelling. God has ordered his angels to guard, defend, and protect me in my house. God's armies of heaven will keep me from falling. I will walk unharmed and kick anything that is evil from my path.
Because of God's love for me, I will call upon him. He will set me above all my troubles. He will deliver me from all my fears and he will honor me with his presence and power. I declare that he will reward me with long life and he will show me his salvation in Jesus name.
I am Psalms 91 equipped and all is well with me. Praise God. Praise God. Y'all ready to get into this? All right. We're going to talk about probably all with this week. We're going to talk about the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Now we are aware that the Holy Spirit is a third person of the trinity.
The father, the son, and the holy ghost. Now the holy spirit is not a it. He's not a figment of your imagination. He is a real person. He is an your unseen unseen person. Praise God. Your unseen partner. And yet we must come to understand what our unseen partner has been given to us and what what we're supposed to be understanding about him.
So I want to start off. We're going to talk about the ministry of the Holy Spirit. The ministry of the Holy Spirit. Now um let's look at John chapter 16. Let's start off here. And it prophesizes about the coming of the spirit. And um he says uh but now I go my way to him that sent me and Jesus is speaking here and none of you ask me whether goeth thou.
Verse six, because I have said these things unto you, sorrow has filled your heart. Verse seven, nevertheless I tell you the truth, it is expedient. That's interesting. It is it is it is advant it is advantageous. It is expedient. It is good, okay, for you that I go away.
Well, I'm sure Peter didn't think it was good for Jesus to leave because when tax time came, Jesus helped him pay his taxes. Amen. He says, uh, for if I go not away, the comforter will not come unto you. Now, that comforter is referring to the Holy Spirit.
The comforter shall not come unto you. But if I depart, I will send him the comforter. Woo. I will send him the comforter unto you. So now that's already happened. The comforter has already been sent. Okay. Now look at verse 8. This is big. And when he is come, the comforter, the Holy Spirit, when he is come, he will A reprove the world of sin, b of righteousness, and c and of judgment.
All right. The amplified of verse 8 says, "And when he comes, he will convict and convince the world and bring demonstrations to it about sin and about righteousness, uprightness of heart, right standing with God, and then about judgment." And he goes on verse 9, "About sin, because they do not believe in me.
They don't trust in me. About righteousness, uh, because I go to my father and you will see me." no more and about judgment because the prince of darkness has already been judged. Now the last two we can get but the first two we keep missing. He said he has come and he the Holy Spirit will convict and convince the world and bring demonstrations to it about sin and about righteousness.
Um, and this is so important, man, about sin because they do not believe in me. So, the Holy Spirit is going to begin to convict concerning unbelief. Listen to me carefully. The Holy Spirit doesn't convict people of things they do that are wrong. That's what most of us read this and we think, well, the Holy Spirit's going to come and he's going to convict people uh of things they do that are wrong.
How many you thought that before? The Holy Spirit has been sent to convict people of the things they do that are wrong. And I am saying to you right now, that is not that's not the whole truth. The Holy Spirit doesn't convict people of things they do that are wrong.
But here's what he does. But he convicts people of the fact that they are not believing on Jesus. Whoa. Whoa. Because everything you do wrong is going to be founded on the foundation of unbelief. And the Holy Spirit has been sent to convict and to convince people who are not believing on Jesus.
Glory be to God. The pe the very people who have problems with us talking about Jesus, the Holy Spirit have been has been sent to convict them and to and to convince them. Now this is very very powerful. Now the Holy Spirit, let me give you an example.
The Holy Spirit will not convict about your your lack of giving but about your lack of trusting Jesus with your finances. You hear that? See, I thought the Holy Spirit was going to come and convict me about my lack of giving. No. What he does, what he will convict you about is your lack of trusting Jesus with your finances.
He'll convict you about unbelief. All of it is is unbelief. All acts of sin, listen to me, comes from the one act of not believing on and resting in the relationship with Jesus Christ. Let me say that again. All acts of sin come from the one act of not believing on and resting in the relationship you have with Jesus.
So the Holy Spirit uh has been sent to convict and to convince the world about not believing in Jesus Christ. So I'm telling you the Holy Ghost is working. And I used to think I need to change people. When the Bible made it clear, he says some plant, some water, but God gives the increase.
You know what that says to me? I can't change you, but Jesus can. That the spirit of God has been sent. We think the Holy Spirit's all about shake, rattling, and rolling. And I mean, it gets pretty intense, man, when his presence comes in. I I I'll admit that.
But we're looking at the scripture to discover the very reason that the Holy Spirit has been sent. Now, listen to me. Now, Adam and Eve, Adam and Eve's sin, let's go back to the garden for a moment. Adam and Eve's sin wasn't eating the fruit. The sin in the garden was not the eating of the fruit, but it was refusing uh or not believing in the goodness of God.
We thought the sin was eating the fruit. The sin was not believing the goodness of God. What are you talking about? Well, he says you can eat of all of the trees of the garden. That's the goodness of God. Well, but we refused to believe and accept and his goodness and so we ate of one tree.
They accepted the lie that God had withheld something good from them in Genesis chapter 3 and and five. They accepted that lie. They doubted God and they believed the devil. That whole thing in the garden was an issue of unbelief. And we have the Holy Spirit to begin to work on people who don't believe in Jesus.
Um let me read Genesis 3:5. It says, "For God doth know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be open, and you shall be as God's, knowing good and evil. They doubted God, and they believe the devil." And so, the sin wasn't exactly eating of the fruit more than refusing to believe in the goodness of God.
And this is where we are today. That the Holy Spirit has been sent to convince us about believing in Jesus and believing that he loves you and believing the goodness of the Lord Jesus Christ. You remember David, go to uh go to Psalms 51 if you have your Bible.
Uh Psalms 51. I made my mind up. Every time I open my mouth to teach, we we going to get in it. We just going to get in it. And you know, if you going to spend time logging on, then you might as well learn something. Praise God.
And get stirred up and go to studying. Amen. Um Psalms 51 and 4. Now look at this. This is very interesting here. 51 and 4. against thee, against thee, and thee only have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight, that thou mightest be justified when thou speaketh, and be clear when thy judges.
Against thee, and thee alone have I sinned. So the Lord said to David, and and and this is where it came from. I just want you to mark that. Psalms 51:4 will make it clear. But now go to 2 Samuel chapter 12. Somebody said, "Oh, we we turn to a lot of scriptures."
Yeah, you'll be all right. 2 Samuel chapter 12. And when you get to 2 Samuel chapter 12, I want you to notice something here in verse 10. 2 Samuel 12 and verse 10. Now look at this. He says,"Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thy house because thou has despised me and has taken the wife of Uriah the Hitittite to be thy wife."
Now, it's making clear what he did. And the Lord said that to David in in in 2 Samuel chapter 12 and 10 that when David committed adultery and he murdered Uriah, he had despised God. Now listen to me. The root of David's sin was against God. Not Uriah, not uh Beersa, but it it was against God.
Somehow another his there was something he didn't believe. He didn't believe that. And God even told him. He says, "All you had to do is ask me if you had this issue. All you have to do is come talk to me. But he didn't. And then you look at I I don't want to go through all these scripture, but you look at u Genesis chapter 39.
Uh I just want to get them in your spirit so I can say what I need to say. Genesis chapter 39 and verse 9. A lot of times people say, "You just be wasting time. Won't you go say it?" I I I really need you to have a scripture so after I say it, you can have something to go back and study and refer to.
So, Genesis chapter 39 and verse 9. Look at what he says here. Um, he said, "There is none greater in this house than I, neither hath he kept back anything from me but thee, because thou art his wife, how then can I do this great wickedness and sin, watch this, against God?"
So, you know, um this is Joseph who is saying, "Dude, this is more than me, you know, yielding to this woman's uh enticement." He says, "If I do that, then this is a sin against God." All right? Now, now listen to me very carefully here. We see David understanding that he this was a sin against God.
We see Joseph understanding that. So now listen to let's bring it on home where we are today. Don't steal because that action reveals a lack of trust in God as your source. Huh? The see see the issue is not just stealing. The issue is not just adultery. The issue is not just you know you murdered somebody to get their wife.
The issue is a lack of trust and dependence in God as your source. So he says he's not telling you don't steal. What he's saying to you is I need to convince you to trust God as your source. So the Holy Spirit has been sent to help you to to be convinced that I don't have to steal.
God's my source. And then verse two, I mean uh the next part here. Listen to this. Don't commit adultery because that acts revealed that we do not believe the Lord. Don't commit adultery because there's an act that says we don't believe the Lord. Believe the Lord. What? Look at Mark chapter 10.
I'm bringing this home home now. Mark chapter 10. And maybe I won't be able to cover but one point a day, but we we need to dig into this. And then when you look at Mark 10, look at verse 6-8. Mark 10 6-8. But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female.
For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife. They twain shall be one flesh to to so then they are no more twain, but they are they are one flesh. See the real temptation in the garden of in the garden of Gethsemane where Jesus was concerned.
The real temptation was not trusting God. Don't commit adultery because that act reveals that we do not believe the Lord when he when he told us and made promises to us when he told us about the power of marriage and the power of oneness. You see, any sin is a result of not believing God.
It's a result of the major foundational sin of unbelief. No matter what you pick out, no matter what you choose, it's the foundational sin of unbelief. You know, the real temptation in the garden, the real temptation in the uh garden of Gethsemane, that's where Jesus was tempted. The real temptation for Jesus was not to turn the stone into bread.
That was the real temptation. It was to it it it it was to disbelieve God if he turned the stone into bread. You know, Satan tried to get Jesus to establish his identity outside of what God said about him. God already said that you are my son in whom I'm well pleased.
And the devil says, if you really the son of God, turn these stones into bread. For him to turn the stones into bread was for him to say, "I don't trust what God said about this is my beloved son in whom I'm well pleased." Are you getting what I'm saying?
The Holy Spirit has come to convince us and to deal with us about refusing to believe God. Unbelief is the root cause that when Jesus said he was tempted like we were, it's the temptation of walking in unbelief. It's the temptation of walking in unbelief. Now, let me give you a a definition there.
There's a difference between disbelief and unbelief. When you when you walk in unbelief, you're just not believing. But there's something called disbelief. And disbelief is a refusal to believe or to accept something as true. When you're in disbelief, you refuse to believe or you refuse to accept something as true.
And there are lots of people who are in disbelief. They they can hear it, but I refuse to accept that as the truth. Someone says, "Well, what do you do?" Well, that's why he sent the Holy Spirit. That's one of the reasons why he sent the Holy Spirit.
Glory be to God. And the Holy Spirit has been sent to convince and convict you concerning your unbelief in Jesus Christ. And whether you read about David or whether you read about uh uh Joseph, the b whether you read about Adam and Eve, the bottom line issue is an issue of not trusting in Jesus, not believing in Jesus.
Glory be to God. And so, Holy Spirit, help our unbelief. What a prayer that God prayed. He said, "Lord, I believe, but help my unbelief." The Holy Spirit can help your unbelief. He's been sent to convince you. You're going to be convinced to believe God. You're going to be convinced to trust God.
I'm telling you, man. I I am convinced that people who who don't see the grace of God and understand the grace of God or people who don't believe in Jesus, I am convinced that the Holy Spirit's working and the Holy Spirit is going to convince and convict people of their unbelief of their unbelief.
And and I'm telling you, unbelief, listen to me now, has to be something that has repented of. Can you change your mind? And that's what the Holy Spirit's going to do. He's going to help you to change your mind about your unbelief in Jesus Christ. Oh, get ready, church.
There is out there's about to be an outpouring of the spirit of God. And I'm talking about an outpouring from the spirit of God where people are going to be convinced in their dreams. They're going to be convinced in their daily lives. They're going to be convinced in the middle of hard time.
They're going to be convinced in the middle of trouble that Jesus is Lord. Believe in him. Some of you may find yourself in a situation right now and it's like there's there there's no seeable way out unless God shows up and do something. There's no seeable way out.
He's going to convince you to trust in him. The Bible says that the spirit of God will change our desires and will give us a desire to do what pleases him. I'm telling you, the Holy Ghost has been let loose. And I sick him on you right now today.
I sick him on you in the name of Jesus. Praise God. To deal with any area where there's a lack of trust where Jesus is concerned. Is Jesus enough for our salvation? You didn't add, you didn't need to add anything to Jesus. It's not Jesus plus this, this, this.
It's Jesus plus nothing. Jesus is enough. He's enough for our salvation. And I'm telling you in Jesus name, the Holy Spirit has been sent to convict us of the sin of unbelief. The sin of unbelief. He's been sent to transform us and convince us of the sin of unbelief.
And I'm telling you, God's not just going to turn his back on people that don't believe in him. He's working right now. Praise God. He sent the Holy Ghost to do some amazing things. And I tell you, I trust him. I trust him. There just things that I may not understand.
Things that I don't know how to do, but the Holy Spirit knows how to do it. And I believe him. And I believe that unsaved relatives are going to get saved. I believe unsaved friends are going to get saved. I believe your husband, your wife, they're going to be saved.
They're going to be saved in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ because they're going to realize I ain't got no more. I ain't got I ain't got no hope in nothing else. Not even the people I know. My hope is in Jesus Christ. Somebody says, "Well, how you going to do that?"
He did it for you, didn't he? He did it for me, didn't he? Well, if he can do it for us, praise God, he can do it for those people that you think that, well, they're going to go straight to hell. God knows how to rescue people from hell.
Yes. Amen. Somebody says, "How you know?" Well, he rescued Jesus, didn't he? He bought Jesus out of hell. Glory be to God. He Jesus was raised up by the father. God knows how to deliver you out of the hell you're in right now. And all I'm saying is just just learn how to believe me.
Learn how to believe him. Learn how to believe the the one that he sent you. He sent us Jesus. Learn how to believe him. Praise God. Learn how to believe him. Praise God. So I announce over your day today that the Holy Spirit will begin to help you in areas where there is unbelief.
I guarantee you, you begin to look at your sins or some things you're struggling with and I guarantee you unbelief is at the root of all of those actions. Unbelief is at the root of the stealing, the killing, the lying, the cheating. Unbelief is at the root of it.
Let the Holy Spirit deal with you and convince you of this particular area. And I tell you what, all will be well. All will be well. I hope you got something out it. I was just I'm just I'm excited. I'm ready to just shake, rattle, and roll and jump and do some cartwheels myself.
Glory be to God. He is good and uh rightly dividing the word of truth. Amen. I want you blessed. I want your life to be changed. I want to see you in in public and you say, "Man, I I'm on that confession and I am growing by leaps and bounds." and you're growing spiritually and you're growing in your trust and your dependence on the Lord God Almighty.
Amen. God is good. He is good. He is good. He is good. He is good. Y'all going to have a good day today. So, take this word uh and uh walk in it today. Meditate on it today. And uh it's going to be good, man. It's going to be good.
Do the cartwheel. Somebody said I got to stretch first. I love y'all. Have a great day. And uh we will get back
