Hello. Hello. Hello. >> Hey guys. Good morning. >> Good morning. Just having a little chat with the Brad Kleinmith in the back room here. >> Brad, do you want to come say hi? >> Do you like it when we do this? >> We We should get some feedback when we do the awkward creep in. >> Hi. >> Hi, guys. >> You guys know Brad?

He's our Tribe Young Adults pastor. He's also a internationally known world superstar pop star. >> You have you you honestly have no idea. No, it's a joke. It's a joke. It's a joke. Love you. looks at uh >> what Gangs of Ballet. >> Gang uh Gangs of Ballet. >> Gangs of Ballet.

Look them up. South African band. They're on They're big. >> I actually have them on my Apple Music. >> He actually left all of it to come here. >> It's true. >> Big big deal. But hello. Good morning, good afternoon, or good night depending on where you're coming in from.

We would love to know where you're watching from. So go ahead and put in the chat. We'd love to say hi. Give some shout outs. We see Crystal on there. Tracy, we got Joanie, Jody, >> Elias from Marcus from Germany. Hello. Hello. >> Then we also need to know I just found out I put out a call out for DMs for her last week. >> And you got a private account.

How are we going to find you a godly man? >> Okay, >> if we have a private account here. So, if you put in a friend request, let me know in the chat. I'll put in a good word for you. >> Oh my word. I think a a private account is the right way to move on social media.

Wow, how am I sweating this morning? >> No, the best way is just to not be on it. That's my strategy. >> But we got a good day. We got a Haley Braun preaching. Hopefully she does a good job. >> No, Haley Braun. >> I can say that.

Haley and I are good friends. Our kids hang out or friends. We just had a soccer match the other day. Still undefeated. Both of my soccer teams. >> Unbelievable. >> Still undefeated. I coach all my kids teams and they are dominating. >> It's true. >> They have to enact a three pass rule in the games.

That's how you know we're doing good. >> Well, look at that. Haley Braun is going to bring the word of God. Not competitive at all. >> I heard it was uh I almost said I heard it was competitive. The word is not competitive. I heard it was full of fire and the power of God.

Soccer was competitive. >> Oh yes, >> soccer was was crazy. I missed it was one of the first games I've missed. >> Unbelievable. >> I know. Maybe not the first. >> You missed Liberty got to play. I heard and I heard Libby got to play. Livia is Steve's third child who's too young to be playing soccer. >> She's very cute.

She uh she keeps on telling me she wants to play and I was like, Olivia, what happens if they take the ball from you? And she goes, I tackle them. >> And I was like, how do you tackle them? She goes, I pull them on the ground. I'm like, that's not how you do it.

But anyway, it's very cute. But enough about us. >> It's going to be a good day. >> Yeah, it's going to be such a great day. We're so thankful. Did you tell them who's leading worship today? Oh, you can. I only said the >> preacher. Boss and Haley Soul Kennedy are leading worship with us today. >> Dropped the soul Kennedy.

We don't have the soul Kennedy on YouTube. So, we probably need to upgrade that. >> Maybe we have it on Bethl online, but we definitely don't have it up. >> That was her name. >> I don't know >> cuz she's going to be singing some soul today. Is that right?

Is that her nickname or is that an actual thing to God? Holy Spirit. Some of you are saying, "Jesus, help." And I'm with you. That is my prayer for this morning that Jesus would help Haley Kennedy, Brady Voss. It's going to be glorious. We're going to be looking at Jesus.

Honestly, if you would like to just collectively pray for Steve, why don't you just extend your hands? I'll lay hands. God, we just pray for this man. 12 years married, Ruth, we >> Yes, it's our anniversary today. >> Did we already say that? >> No, we didn't. But thank you for announcing that to the world. >> You guys, it's Ruth.

I mean, you announced my our birth, so yeah, found that out the hard way. I'm joking. I don't care. We had our fourth child like seven, eight weeks ago. >> Yeah, it was a mo I think Paula lured me in and she was like, "Should we announce it?"

And I was like, "Oh my gosh, how did we not like when you say something like that, I guess you kind of have to." But you're right, I did. >> Yeah. >> Well, you call you put my social media out there. I can I can call out that it's your anniversary and that you had a baby. >> I just know this woman.

She's incredible and she's single, ready to mingle. >> That's all I'm saying. >> All righty. >> But on a serious note, we would love to pray for you. So, if you have a prayer request, if you're believing for a miracle, you're believing for a type of breakthrough, we would love for you to put it in the chat.

We have pastors online that want to partner with you and also want to encourage you guys to pray for each other as well, but we want to pray. And so go ahead and put it in the chat and then at the end here we will pray. >> So good.

I see some people already writing it in the chat and so many are celebrating the anniversary. I mean >> I'm not joking. In this day and age 12 years like that's it's a big deal and you're still in your younger 30s. Steve also had a birthday last week.

You don't you wouldn't think it. >> Yeah. Guess my age. You should guess my age. Let's guess the age. >> It's crazy. >> How old do you think I am? Put it in the chat. This could be really bad. >> It could be really bad. You put young 30s though, but that's a little bit. >> Yeah, >> it might not be. >> You're kind of Yeah.

Um, it's fine. You look You look your age. >> Thanks. >> Don't you think? >> Thanks. I mean, if you get a closeup, you can see some of the hair starting to fall out there. So, maybe that'll give you a little bit of hint of where we're going. >> Oh my word.

God, we just pray for supernatural hair growth today, Lord. In any areas where people are missing hair. >> LOOK AT THAT. 34. WOW. >> COME ON. I LOVE these people. >> Some people think 38. >> Someone got it right already. >> 480. >> No, no one put 80. >> They put 80. >> Oh, wow. >> 40 37 35. >> I'm going to remember that.

That's the British sarcastic humor there coming in. >> Yeah, it's good. 52 52 is close. >> Wow. >> 38 40. >> Wow. I'm gonna have to >> late 20s. >> Go get a hair transplant. >> It's 37. Uh, wow. Steve, you want to reveal how old you are? >> I am 38 years old. >> Crazy. >> 38.

So, bam. A lot of people actually guessed it right. So, that's amazing. So, if you were practicing word of knowledge, well done. >> Everybody else, you're a false prophet. >> That's a joke. I am so sorry. That is a joke. If you don't know me, that is a joke. >> That is a joke.

You're not a false flag. We talked about soccer earlier. That's a red flag. That means you have to go sit on the bench for a quick second, take a little breather. But to be 38 years old and to be married for 12 years, that's a big deal. They've got four beautiful, healthy kids, it feels like such a beautiful thing.

So maybe you could pray for those who are waiting for marriage. U pray for those who are longing. I can't. Okay, stop. Okay. Uh pray for those who are uh longing to have healthy kids and family. Um I also see that other people are putting their prayer requests in for stomach related issues. >> Health issues for family from Switzerland there.

We got sinus stuff, body aches, uh family needs to move, so we need a financial miracle. $5,000 US. Y >> and a prayer to stay away from alcohol and for that to be restored. Let's just pray for that. >> Yes. So, if you haven't put it in there yet, >> put it in quick.

Prayer request. >> Yep. >> You don't want to miss it. No, I'm joking. We'll cover it all. >> We'll we'll pray. And you guys can pray too on the chat for your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Go ahead and add your prayers in there, too. >> Yep.

We're just looking right here. If you're seeing us look off screen, >> someone's been struggling with infertility for six years. Let's pray. Why don't you start? >> Yep. Okay. Well, hold out your hands. You know, the routine just reminds me I'm not trying to achieve anything. I'm trying to receive.

And so for you, often times, you know, uh when people are getting prayer, receiving prayer, they feel like it has to do with their faith, their ability, their things to work it up. And I just want to give you peace and the just permission to rest. It's actually Jesus's faithfulness that we put our faith in.

It's not in our ability to pray. It's in his ability to answer. >> And so when I pray, I don't want you to actually even pray along. I just want you to be still >> and focus on Christ. And he's the one that does the work. He's the one that does the miracle.

We can't do anything apart from ourselves. I don't know how to heal the sick. I just know how to hang out with the one who does. And so just hold out your hands like this. And whatever you're going through, we're going to pray. But father, right now, we just command all pain to leave people's bodies right now.

Father, I thank you for hips aligning up. I thank you for back pain leaving. God, I thank you for all pressure and sinus issues to lift right now. God, we speak health over people right now. If you have aches, bodyaches, cancer, we just command that to leave right now.

We command knees to be healed. Father, I thank you for loosening of shoulder joints right now. God, we thank you for addictions breaking right now. And God, I ask for the peace of heaven to come over everybody on this call right now. We just speak full mobility, >> no pain, strength, strength, strength.

Thank you, Jesus. >> Come on. And I even saw some people um even as the joy of the Lord began to hit you, it began to fill you. I saw um like I don't even know. I saw like nervous systems being reset. I saw alignment in bones. I saw areas where you've been having um aches in in ligament or uh aches and ligaments.

Aches in bones. I saw pain lifting off. And so if that's you, I even just bless you with the joy of the Lord. May it be your strength, but that it would bring strength to the areas in your bodies that have been absolutely weak. >> Healing is easy for God. >> Come on. >> It's so easy for the Lord. >> So easy.

It's not in us. >> It's not our ability. It's his ability. >> And so why don't you go ahead and start testing out your body. So go to go ahead and try to do something you couldn't do before. Don't hurt yourself. Like I only want you to do something that you feel confident of trying out.

But if you have a hurt knee, go ahead and try to move it. Try to bend it. If you have a should a hurt shoulder, try to do that. If you have a hurt back, go ahead and try to touch your toes, neck, start moving it around. And then whatever notice like difference in change that you notice, put the percentage of it's 80% better.

It's 100% better. And put the condition. So if it's back pain, my back pain's completely gone. Put back 100%. Go ahead and put in the chat. We want to celebrate what Jesus is doing. And then also, we want to build faith for you guys to actually see that God's moving on the call.

So go ahead. Stacy said, "My shoulder's 30% better." Come on, Jesus. That's amazing. We just speak 100% healing right now. Increase right now. Pain go in Jesus' name. So go ahead, test it out. Put it in the chat. We'll be paying attention throughout the service, checking on you, praying for you.

Pastors will help partner with you as well. And uh just want to encourage you to get healed at any point during the service. Okay? You have permission to do that. And then we'll be able to check in at the end too to see what God's doing. >> Come on, guys.

We bless you. We're excited to go into worship together. Put those comments in there. We love you. And we'll see you after service. >> Come on. Bless you. >> Oh, good morning. Good morning. Good morning. Let's stand together. Good morning. Welcome. Welcome. This is the day that the Lord has made.

Man, I remember. How many of you remember back when uh the Iron Curtain fell and some of you were alive then? How many of you weren't even born yet? When when that back in the 80s? Yeah. Well, welcome to the planet. We we we we're glad you're here.

But I remember when when the the Iron Curtain fell and there was a uh the whole thing between East and West Germany and we found out later that uh when the people began to march from East Germany into West Germany. There was a place in the wall that they came through and that place the night before was a very significant prayer meeting at that very location.

And I remember watching the news. I was pastoring in Weaverville, but we were um at a men's retreat at a hotel here in Reading. And I remember turning on the news and hearing people singing as they walked through that part of the wall. And they were singing, "This is the day that the Lord has made.

Let us rejoice and be glad in it." I mean, you know, there's reason to celebrate when Jesus set you free. And every person in this room that has received Christ, there is liberty that is inside of you waiting for expression. And uh Lord, just increase it all. Amen.

We're going to read a passage out of Romans 15. If you've got your Bible, go ahead and turn there. It's one verse and it's u one of our girls years ago came out of a time of prayer and I think she spoke this word to Chris. Chris shared it with the rest of us, but it's this phrase um that the Lord spoke to her in prayer that the person with the most hope will always have the most influence.

That's an amazing statement. The person with the most hope will always have the most influence. And I want you to hear this verse. This is one that would be good for all of us to read on a repeated uh basis. Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy.

How much >> Psalm 16 says in his presence is fullness of joy. The complete total expression of joy is found in the presence of the spirit of God. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. >> Is there anyone here that wants to abound in hope? like it's it's you start leaking hope everywhere you go.

There's just abundance hope. Well, it says it's through the power of the Holy Spirit. So, we just welcome the Holy Spirit to come and have his way with us today. And may the power of God impact every single one of us. Our thinking, our health, our reasoning, everything uh emotionally, our relationships, everything by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Well, you got good people around you. They're pretty cool from what I hear. Why don't you turn and bless them really good? We welcome our online family as well. But greet one another and we'll get started. I am not We bring you our praise this morning, Lord. Let's sing together.

In the darkness, in the darkness we were waiting, without hope and without light, till from heaven you came running. There was mercy in your eyes. To fulfill the law and prophets to a virgin came the word. From a throne of endless glory to a cradle in the dirt.

Let's sing that again. In the darkness we were waiting without hope and without light. Till from heaven you came running. There was mercy in your eyes. To fulfill the law and prophets to a virgin came the word from a throne of endless glory to a cradle in the dirt.

Oh. Oh. Good morning. Would everybody stand? We're going to pray together. This morning when I was we were in first service and we're just worshiping, I felt the Lord actually bring to me a sense of a little bit of a correction. I I felt like the Lord talked to me about unforgiveness and jealousy.

And uh I was I I want to read you a passage. If you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant to lie against the truth. For this wisdom is not which that comes from above, but earthly, natural, and demonic. It's interesting that jealousy is called wisdom, but not from above.

And I was thinking about how the Lord is he's making the crooked places in our lives straight. Not just as a church body, not just as a corporation, not just as a corporate body, not just as a movement, but individually. And I was thinking about about a year and a half ago, there's somebody that I've been in tension with for a long time and I I felt the Lord say, "It's a time for you to forgive.

Unforgiveness is it's a cloud over you and it's keeping you from my blessing." And I'm like, "All right, Lord." So, I did what I knew to do. Uh, Lord, I I forgive them and I wrote a letter and and the Lord's like, I want you to bring forth fruit of forgiveness.

I'm like, okay, I'm trying. What's that look like? And I felt like the Lord said, send a specific gift to them. So, I I send a gift. Now, I got to tell you that, have you ever done something out of obedience, but the emotion is not attached? I'm like, I'm doing this because I know it's the right thing to do.

Not because I'm feeling it. Not I'm not having any positive emotion, but I know it's the right thing to do. And the Lord said, "This is keeping you from me blessing you because you have unforgiveness in your heart, and I I died to free you from unforgiveness. I forgave you when you didn't deserve it and you have a against this person and you think the facts are keeping you okay and I forgave you when you didn't deserve it and that means you have to forgive when they don't deserve it whether they deserve it or not.

So I sent them the gift was good. We got a good made a little connect. But you know when you're in a room with that person that you've forgiven and you still have that uh feeling? No, you don't have that. Let me tell you what it's like. It's like like you've done everything you know, but when you're in their presence, you still have that something is not good.

And you're not behaving out of it. You're behaving out of your action, out of your forgiveness, but you still have that angst. And so about a year later, this is probably eight months ago, I'm worshiping. I'm not thinking about that at all. I'm not thinking about them. I'm not thinking about anything about that at all.

I'm just worshiping. I'm thinking about the Lord. And all of a sudden, I felt the Lord take this animosity out of me. It just it just evaporated about 30 seconds. And all of a sudden, I had this incredible passion and love for them that I haven't had for years.

And I Like I I was like, "Wow, I did what only I could do and then he did what I couldn't do." And I feel like the Lord is cleaning us. There's something really special happening in this season we're in. It's hard, but it's good. And I feel like there's people, you know, the very first murder in the world was when there was only four people on the earth, Cain killed Abel out of jealousy.

Saul, the f very first king, lost his kingship because the women sang David Saul killed us thousands. David killed us 10,000. It's like how much of our life is being reduced out of jealousy? When someone gets blessed, we somehow think that that means I can't be blessed because they're blessed.

And we end up being jealous of people who are have what we want or prospering or whatever. And this thing comes up and and and the Bible calls it worldly wisdom. It's worldly wisdom and I'm jealous of someone else. I have a reason to be jealous. And the Lord's like, that's demonic.

It's unnatural and it's killing you. And I feel like social media and all the worlds that people show their best day and they're laughing with their kids and you don't know how many takes that took to get them to all smile. You're like, I want that world. Oh my gosh, my family's not like that.

And this thing comes up in us and we end up competing with people and something that's not even real. And I I I don't know if you've ever experienced any of that because maybe I'm just overly confessing my sin again, which I'm famous for. But if you're a part of our online campus or on if if if you if you're having that kind of struggle, would you just raise your hand?

Just raise your hand right now. Say, "Yeah, that's me. I'm struggling." Really? You guys are like 10 people in first service. We must have got all the sinners in first service today. telling you there wasn't hardly a person who didn't have their hand up or the non-transparent people.

I don't know what we have right here. Not me. I never get jealous of anybody. I don't have unforgiveness. I just want us to pray together. Can we? You can put your hands down. And I just want us to pray. Lord Jesus, pray with me. Lord Jesus, >> Lord Jesus, >> I thank you >> for dying for me. >> For dying >> on the cross on the cross. >> You forgave me. >> You gave me >> when I didn't deserve it.

And Lord, right now Lord, >> I just forgive >> everybody in my life >> everybody in my life >> who has done harm to me. >> Whether they meant it or not, >> whether they're sorry or not, >> I just release forgiveness over them. >> In Jesus name.

And Lord, I pray for the people that have prospered around me. Come on. >> Maybe to my jealousy. Lord, I thank you >> that their prosperity >> their prosperity >> does not take from my prosperity. >> I take and I release them right now. >> And I say prosperity. >> Be in good health. >> Be in good health. >> I release you right now. >> I release >> without any jealousy. >> without any jealousy >> to prosper in areas >> where I long to prosper into.

And I bless you >> in Jesus name. In Jesus name. >> Amen. Can we just give the Lord a clap offering, please? Thank you, Jesus. God bless you. And I want to pray for you right now. I feel to pray. Lord, I pray for everybody who just released people.

I pray that a double blessing would come on this body. I pray for those that are online. I pray for this and campus. Lord, that cloud that's been holding your hand back because you we have like isolated and insulated oursel from your blessing by our heart problem. Lord, I thank you that you said that we want that you want us to have a clean hands and a pure heart.

And we pray right now for clean hands and a pure heart. And everybody said, "So be it." >> God bless you guys. Thank you so much. Can we give it up for the band? Good job, you guys. Powerful. Thanks, Chris. If you are making your way to your seats and you are in junior high, you can actually exit right now.

Watch this short video from Jen and Hi. You're just who we need. You make me so happy. You make me so happy. I can't tell you where the story will end, but I can promise you this, that I love you. Hello. Hello. Yes, double me. Stand up for offering.

I almost wore that blue hoodie today and I that would have been a real shocker if we would have been seeing it double. It would have been amazing. Anyways, it is offering time. Uh, I have just one quick thing and then we're going to do offering reading number two.

Um, but I've been having my daughters, we memorize verses um, every night. So, we kind of go through a thing uh, kind of some of my favorite verses. Then we find verses in the Bible and we repeat them at night till we memorize them. And we just memorized one of my favorite verses.

It's Romans 14:17. And it says, "The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating or drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit." And when we're doing offering, I want us to remember something because now I've been repeating this verse for several weeks till all of my kids have it.

And teaching them that often we imagine the physical life is the most important life. And we can think money and dollars and everything is the most important life. And when we realize all of that stuff gets taken care of by him, but it's the kingdom that we're actually trying to advance.

And when we realize that we're part of such an abundant kingdom full of radical, amazing, incredible like out of this world ideas, finances, generosity, abundance, peace, joy. We stop holding on to this life so hard. And I want to encourage us today that as we give our offering, we do it with an open hand through generosity, realizing that he takes care of all of our needs.

Amen. He takes care of them all. And so we are going to do offering reading number two because it is all about actually praying in for some crazy radical encounters. And the last thing I was going to say is we're going to do it with a smile on our face.

Now, in high school, like 3 weeks ago, one of my leaders led us to where everybody had to give their offering by jumping and dancing up to the front. And that was the only way. Zoe in the back, she said, "We are going to be cheerful givers." So, we are going to show it by jumping and dancing.

I'm not gonna have us do that today, but we're going to put a smile on our face so that as we say this, we actually do it with cheer. Amen. Amen. So, let's do this with a smile on our face. 1 2 3. As we receive today's offering, we are believing you for heaven opened, earth invaded, storehouses unlocked, and miracles created.

Dreams and visions, angelic visitations, declarations, impartations, and divine manifestations, anointings, giftings, and calls, positions, and promotions, provisions, and resources to go to the nations. Souls and more souls from every generation, saved and set free, carrying kingdom revelation. Thank you, Father, that as I join my value system to yours, you will shower favor, blessings, and increase upon me so I have more than enough to co-labor with heaven and see Jesus get his full reward.

Hallelujah. Put your offering out in your hand. Father, we just thank you. We thank you for your generosity. We thank you for your kingdom. We thank you for your ways that are higher than our ways. And we cheerfully give this morning. We cheerfully do it knowing that you take care of all of our needs in Christ in Jesus' name.

And everyone says, "Amen." Amen. Let's pass the buckets. And as we do, let's welcome up Pastor Haley Braun. I felt like I might have a theme song since it was our youth pastor up here. I thought maybe it would feel very Yeah, like the eye of the tiger or something.

D. No. Okay. Some of you like Haley, you wish it was the eye of the tiger. It's more like fairly. I got up here first service and realized I had no jokes and you've had Bill for three weeks. So, I was going through my file of jokes, which I've only learned from six and seven year olds.

And this is one. What is this? Finger. >> A finger. Yes, Dan. Well done. I don't know. But there goes a whole bunch of them. What is pink and fluffy? >> Pink fluff. What is blue and fluffy? >> Pink fluff holding its breath. And that that is the that is about the end of streamable jokes.

I tried one at Twin View and realized not streamable. So, hello streaming. Welcome online audience. You have been preserved. Um, it is so good to be with you. Hello church family. So wonderful. I'm thanking the Lord for this rain because my eye allergies are no longer losing their mind.

Anyone else? Their eyes were just Yes. pollen galore. So, I'm thankful for the rain and I'm thankful to be with you. Uh, let's pray. We mostly pray for help for me that we've prayed for you many times in the service. Now, we're praying for help. So Lord God, we thank you.

We thank you, Lord, help. We thank you that you're the helper. I thank you that you help us. You can shout out help too, congregation, if you need help, too. God, we ask for help on behalf of me, on behalf of them. And Lord, we thank you for your presence here.

We thank you that you do make us happy. And Lord, we just welcome the joy of the Lord. That is our strength today. We thank you God for just uh just an absolute wave of joy for every household, every person. Wow. Thank you, God, for your goodness. Let your goodness invade today.

Amen. >> Amen. Well, today I'm going to be preaching um out of the book of Ephesians. And so, if you want to just open up to Ephesians 1, uh we'll we'll dive into that in just a bit. Um I I actually have been doing a bit of a study on the book of Ephesians and I was watching a video and I thought I was about to watch a video on Ephesians chapter 1 45minute video and we got through the uh about 40 minutes of the video and I realized we were just doing chapter 1 verse one.

So uh you're lucky I'm restraining. We're not going to be just doing Ephesians 1 vers1. Although it was actually unbelievable. It was so powerful. They just camped on Paul the apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God and just camped on Paul's like absolute unashamed owning of the call of God on his life and how how valuable it is.

The preacher actually said it is the most important thing that you can discover is what has God called you to. So I don't know if he's right but that's what he said. That's a good thought for you to leave the service with. But Ephesians was uh written to a a community a group called in Ephesus in a city and Ephesus was actually it was the uh epicenter of worship of the Greek and Roman gods.

And so they actually worshiped one of the main gods that they worshiped was Diana which is actually why you hit in Ephesians 5 that we won't dive into today. As they talk about submission, it was really important that they hit some of those subjects because Diana it was the worship of women and fertility.

And so Paul had spent time ministering to the church in Ephesus and preaching the gospel and letting the gospel go far and wide. And he has left Ephesus at this point and he's in prison and he's writing to them affectionately remembering his time with them. And the book of Ephesians is broken up into kind of two main points. 1 through three is going to be what God has done for us.

It is the work of the gospel towards us. And then four through six is our work and our walk according to what Christ has done for us. Now Ruth Baker and Watchman knee they actually break it up that final part into two sections. Ruth Baker calls it the wealth of the the believer.

Verse chapter 1 through 3 is the wealth of the believer. Chapter 4 through 6:9 is the walk of the believer. Can you say walk with me? >> And then the last one chapter 610 we all know the armor of God. It is the warfare of the believer. I really like how Watchman knee breaks it up.

It's sit, walk, stand. Our seated position in Christ, the walk because of that position. And then once we have done all that we can, now stand. Stand in this revelation. Stand in this call and put on the armor of God. Now in our life, we all know we journey, right?

We are on a journey. If you didn't know that, just wait till your alarm goes off tomorrow morning and you are going to have to get yourself out of bed at some point and do something with your life. And in this journey in life, God actually desires that we would increase.

It's was part of creation in Genesis that we would be fruitful and multiply. Correct? That's not just having babies, just in case you were wondering, though that is part of it. Multiplication is in every area of our life. Multiplication of joy, multiplication of hope, multiplication of effect of the kingdom of God in in the world around us.

We are not simply called just to come to church on a Sunday, right? We're called to be the church full of the spirit and taking ground that God has called us to take. >> So, we've been talking about taking ground and all these things. The interesting thing though about taking ground, I I was a a while ago, the Lord was teaching me about valuing process.

My personality was kind of like, I just want production. So, I want to be awesome pastor, going to do a 100 meetings a day, not eat my lunch, and then at 5:00 p.m. wondering why I feel dizzy, and it's cuz I haven't eaten food all day. Turns out God designed a system, and if that system isn't cared for, you will know about it.

And so, the Lord uh encouraged me, it was a few years back, to do two things. One was to make sourdough, which I want to tell you, that's hours and hours of process. I used to just sit and fold that little dough like a little baby, just like a little swaddle.

Um, and the other one was to plant a vegetable garden. Praise God it was vegetables because fruit takes a long time to see outcome. He was patient and kind with me. And so I cultivated this area of land in my garden and I planted a few things, but my main thing that I planted was butternut squash.

I wanted lots of butternut squash. And so got excited, made this little little ground. And then you start you put little sprinklers in so it gets watered. And you got to make sure you plant it when the sun is out, not when it's freezing. Others you'll see just does this, you know, for the rest of its life.

And so, um, this this process started and I just saw these little butternut squash seeds just sprout. And guess what grew alongside those butternut squash plants? >> Wow, look at you. The class participation is healthy. Weeds. I used to get excited when I remember my first promotion at Bethl.

I'm like, I'm being promoted. Until I realized promotion meant I was going to grow, no one else. Now I hear promotion and I go, maybe for Bill. I like I I started to realize when you cultivate new ground, weeds show up. And I'm sure all of you are better than me.

But often when things like that show up in our life, we we start looking at external factors, right? Your life is a god. Matthew 13 says that there there's soil to be cultivated and the sewer comes and the Lord is scattering seed in your garden. But with that shows up competing things in your life that want to grow and take the nutrients of the seed that God has planted.

Now often for me when I am experiencing frustration or challenge in my life, I look externally. It's like blaming the rain or blaming the sun. And I actually made a couple of lists of what those things could be. It's probably you probably could come up with a better list, but like blaming the sun could be someone else that has more favor on their life or someone that is advancing in this area and I'm not no one.

Blaming the the rain, someone's attitude, someone's opinion. We all have these moments where we expand in life, right? You could maybe it's getting married, maybe it's having kids. After having my first baby, I thought I'd never drink a warm cup of coffee ever for the rest of my life.

I just thought it was over. We all have these moments, right, where you get married and I thought, there's Ryan. I thought I thought that I was going to point to Chris and I thought wrong man. There he is. You know, for the first year I thought that two becoming one would become me.

You know, here we go. I'm the best version of this, right? Turns out I found out that was not true humility. It's actually pride and horrible. and um and had to grow through this journey of working through his attitude, his opinion and recognizing things are growing in my life because of his addition to my life. >> Good things and challenging things.

It could be a new job. It could be moving to a new city. I was actually thinking on my drive to Twin View as I was preaching this the first service. I was like, "Sometimes we think of big things, but what about those small nuance things in our life?

Those little transitions that happen often. That one place that we argue with our spouse in. That one area that we struggle to overcome in our life. That place where maybe we feel a little bit hopeless and we've become a blamer of the atmosphere instead of actually looking at what's going on in here. >> No one.

Just me. Let's take a look at Ephesians 1. Now, we've hit the apostle of Jesus Christ. You're going to go discover your calling this week. Just this week, you're going to come back on Sunday and tell someone. That's a joke. Um, but verse three, blessed be God, the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us.

Shout it out for me. In Christ. You're like, Haley, my translation is different. No problem. With every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. That alone could preach. We have been placed in Christ and been blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places. Even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world that we should be holy and blameless before him in love.

Have you seen there's three ins predestined us for >> adoption to >> your mom? No. To him >> as sons and daughters through Jesus Christ according to your call according to your opinion according to >> the purpose of those you not reading in the Bible. The call and opinion were not in the Bible.

That was me asking a question. according to the purpose of >> will. >> His will. We got to increase the class participation here just a little bit. Thank you. One of the central themes in the book of Ephesians Ephesians Ephesians is the believer's union with Jesus. It's a central theme. in in just the first chapter, it's nearly 11 times depending on your translation that they mention in Christ, through Christ, or by Christ.

And with every one of those declarations, in Christ, through Christ, by Christ, in him, through him, by him, with each one of those is a promise attached to it. In Christ, we were blessed with every spiritual blessing. In him, we have been chosen, holy, and blameless. How often are we still living in blame?

In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons according to the purpose of his will. He has blessed us in the beloved capital B that's in him. In him we have redemption. We have forgiveness and the riches of his grace. I'm going to stop there. I could go on and on.

One of your homework assignments for this week, should you wish to accept, is to go through chapter 1, 2, and three, and circle every time you see in him, through him, by him, and then underline what is the promise attached with that. You see, in this moment in Ephesians, Paul understands that man-made religion, the human way, we would think we walk as long as we can, and when you can no longer walk, you stand for as long as you can.

And when you can no longer stand, then you sit. Some of you have that in worship. You stand as long as you can, and then you sit. And this is how we think as human beings, right? I'm on a journey in life. God has called me to a walk.

I'm gonna walk. I'm gonna push. I'm going to try. I'm going to make it. And I'm going to go for as long as I can. And when I can't go anymore, I'm going to stand. And I'm going to stand for as long as I can in my belief.

And I'm going to stand and stand and stand. And when I can no longer stand, I'm going to give up and sit. No one. This is man-made religion. Prove, strive, try, perform, press in, hunger more. But Paul says actually for the believer to truly walk with effectiveness and to truly stand against the works of the enemy, he's got to sit.

He's got to sit in what? In what Christ has done. Now, what is really important in this passage? Are you doing all right? >> Hallelujah. What's really important in this passage is how Paul emphasizes the pleasure of God and his love. A few Sundays ago, if you were here, I closed worship and there was hills.

The hills are alive with a sound of new. There was hills and I was imagining little lambs because it was springtime springing across those hills. Uh I we recently got a new French bulldog puppy. Her name's Nova. And Nova, when she sees me, she gets so happy. She basically stands upright on her hind leg and then just starts springing and twisting and turning to the point that she falls over sometimes.

Just kills over on her back. Like she's so happy to see me. And um so I was imagining these lambs like Nova springing. And then the Lord brought Zephaniah 3:17 to my mind that day. And he said, "Go take a look." And I went and I went to look at the root word of rejoice in Zephaniah 3:17.

The Lord your God rejoices over you with singing. That word rejoice is to spring, to twist, to twirl, to leap, maybe even fall over cuz you're so happy to see someone. This is how God sees you. And many times in our walk with God, we actually don't sit long enough to experience a God that twists, twirls, jumps, and maybe even falls over when he sees you.

You are his beloved. It's so interesting when Jesus was when the skies part, you know, and he's getting baptized after being in the wilderness, the Lord says, "This is my beloved son with whom I'm well pleased." So interesting that the enemy happens to leave the word beloved out at the end of 40 days. >> The enemy can't get you to question you.

He'll get you to question God's love for you. Yeah, >> recently I was driving to an appointment and um I I was getting there early which for a South African is a miracle and um and I've been working on this thing which is like creating peace in my life and so part of peace in my life is leaving early enough so that I can get there on time with time to spare and I was driving to this appointment experiencing this peace and the fruit of a very good decision as I'm working a muscle that has not been well worked in my 40 years of life and um I had this moment where I remembered and I have remembered this story I tell you what many times because I was in seventh grade which is a good 28 years ago seventh grade a man named Mr.

Fars sat sat us down and he was telling us he said class let me tell you what happened to me this morning and we would always get excited when Mr. Fars would tell stories because it meant you weren't learning stuff and so we would always try to get Mr. affairs to tell us more and more stories so we didn't actually have to do work.

And so we're all leaning in cuz we're happy we're getting a story. And he said, "I was driving to work and I touched my face." And he said, and he said, "You guess what I realized?" And we're like, "We don't know what you realize." He was like, "I didn't shave."

And I was like, "Well, sir, none of us are shaving, which is why none of us knew what you were touching your face for." But uh it was those it was in South Africa like all men shave their face pretty clean. It's like the thing you do. I was so surprised when I met this man and realized he just trims.

I was like, I'm going to kiss fur for the rest of my life. And um and Mr. Faires uh he drove back from drove from work, went back home, shaved his face, and the moral of the story was he still got to work on time and he was able to shave his face.

And he was sharing the story to like leave early so that you can get the things done. And I was having this moment. I've remembered this story for 28 years and I'm only doing it now. Isn't it so true that there are things in your life that you know are the right thing to do?

You know they would help you but you don't have the motivation to do it. >> And actually this is what this passage is waking us up to. That actually if you don't sit long enough you will not get the motivation you need for this to go from knowledge into experience.

And so Paul gives this whole message on God's love. And then he shifts in verse 15. Can we look there? For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and your love toward all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation.

You sung that song this morning, right? Spirit of wisdom. Did you sing it? They sang in the first service. Open my eyes again. You didn't get there. The spirit of wisdom and revelation opened your eyes to something else. This morning we sung cuz I want to see you.

I want to see you. See you rightly Jesus. Paul is actually saying in this moment that there is a greater knowledge than knowing something. And by the spirit he is praying that the eyes of your heart and would be enlightened to the knowledge of what Christ has done for you.

This is going from I know it to I've experienced it. And this isn't just a one-time experience. This is a constant daily experience. And then he says this in the knowledge of him of Christ, not in the knowledge of me. in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your heart enlightened that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you and what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.

I just want you to go to verse 11 real quick with me. So that's uh verse 18. Verse 11. In him we have obtained an >> inheritance having predestined according to the purpose of him who works according sorry who works all things according to the council of his will.

This verse 11 is your inheritance. Verse 18 is not. Now I want to tell you I've read this passage hundreds of times. I can nearly quote from verse 13 to 23 word for word. It's one of my most favorite scriptures and I was reading it the other day and I thought, "Oh, this isn't the inheritance in me for me."

I thought it was what Christ had done for me, now he's put it in me and now I have an inheritance of Christ in me. No, that is true. That's verse 11. Verse 18 is Christ's inheritance that is in you. >> It's what he gets. This isn't about what you get in this moment.

It's that he has hidden for himself the very desire that he desires more than anything else. Not somewhere. He has hidden it right here. And your life lived before Christ Jesus gives back to him the very thing he desires most. Matthew 13:44 where you talk about the parable of this man walking.

It says the kingdom of God is like a man who was walking in a field. Do you know this parable? walking a field and he finds a treasure. I don't know how he finds the treasure. In my mind, I see him walking and then he hears a hollow sound.

That's how I think because I'm like, "How would you not know? There's a field. Everyone's seen the field. Everyone's walked through the field, but there's a man that finds something unique." I say, "Digging." And then he finds the treasure hidden by pirates. I don't know. And uh and he finds this treasure and he sells everything to buy the field.

A field that people have walked by for ages. Nobody sees anything about it. That field has laid. And I used to think that was me walking through a field. Yay. Yay. Yay. And then I find Jesus. Then I sell everything and I move to Reading and I think I'm coming for 9 months.

And 18 years later I've bought the field. But it turns out that's not Haley walking through the field. It's not Dan walking through the field. It's not Georgia walking through the field. It's Christ walking through a field. >> And that field, nobody saw anything special about it. But he discovered a treasure.

And that treasure is you. >> That treasure is your life. >> Lived for him. >> And he sold everything unto the point of death, even death on a cross. as a thief. He did not consider equality with God something to grasp, but he laid his life down. His value.

You see, if we're walking through life and and challenges come up, if we don't know our seated position in a God that would give up everything to have us, external blame will be the only way we can get through. according to the good pleasure Ephesians 5 of his will.

Paul is praying for us to experience that we are the glorious inheritance that Christ has purchased. I want to tell you on my worst day, I don't know if I'm worth it to push through. I used to drive this car. It was a Ford Focus and um 2002 Ford Focus.

It had air conditioning which was an upgrade from the Camry, the 1992 Camry we were driving. And uh one day in this parking lot right out there, someone uh accidentally hit the accelerator instead of their brake and they just mowed down the side of my Ford Focus. And uh the F Focus wasn't worth the money to fix it cuz it was worth less than what the repairs would be.

And so I would just drive this Ford Focus just to drive it. And uh we have this bush next to our carport. And again, we're working on timing. Mr. Fer's teaching is only sinking in now. So for that season, I would just put my car in reverse and just screech out of my driveway cuz it takes me 10 minutes to get to church and I've got 11 minutes on the clock.

Enough to drive there, park, and run into my meeting. And so I am just reversing as fast as I can. And all you hear are the bushes that have grown over uh because my husband hasn't done what I've asked him to do over the now all you men go, your honeydew list is too long.

So if you didn't need as much emotional care, you could cut my bushes, right? Anyway, so grown over and I'm just going But you know what? It doesn't matter because you can't do more damage than already been done. And so every day I would just out of the out of the car and I just bless the bushes and leave.

And uh and then I got a new car and it was the newest car I'd ever had. It was a Kia Soul. It was a year and a half and it was dune in color and I was so happy about this cream colored car cuz no one else had one.

And I start reversing out of my driveway as I have every time. And I hear and you better believe I stopped and I pulled forward and I pull back and then I and then I'm like cut trim these hedges. You know what I mean? Like texting trim the hedges, you know?

But and then and then I had realized the hedges aren't going to get trimmed. So, I need to add five minutes to my life in order to reverse this car. Why? Because all of a sudden, I had value for something I didn't have value for before. >> See, we'll live recklessly if we don't have value for our lives. >> Many times, we don't make the effort to make the change because we actually don't have value for what our lives are in Christ.

I wrote this line. If only we knew how treasured we are. So, how do we do this? I've got some practical things. Is that okay? >> So, um how do we seat ourselves in Christ? Well, first we have to actually discover where we're sitting. And I want to tell you that there are many areas in our life that actually we sit with the belief system of Christ crucified, hidden in him.

I remember someone asked me a question once on Instagram. And they said, "How do I know my life has been surrendered to God?" And I began to think, "Well, actually, a life surrendered to God bears the fruit of the spirit in every area of your life." You I used to think the fruit of the spirit was just like nine different fruits.

And if you had seven, you had a good fruit salad. You know what I mean? So, if you're missing patience and kindness, at least I got faithfulness and self-control. And it turns out that it actually isn't nine different fruits. It's one fruit, nine attributes. And if you were growing an orange that had no peel, I tell you what, it wouldn't get to maturity.

The birds would eat it before it even got to got to a place of being ripe. And so the Lord is inviting us to actually walk in a way that every area of our life lives submitted to the love and power and presence and work of Christ and the gospel.

And so in looking at this, I ask myself some questions. Now, turns out for me, I'm going to go number one. I'm just telling you, I don't go to number one because I only discover it when I hit number two. Uh some of you are more self-aware. So, the first one is I recognize my discomfort.

I feel overwhelmed. I feel afraid. I feel stuck. I feel ashamed. For those of you that feel like there's no space for those kinds of things in the Christian life, actually later on in Ephesians uh in five, Paul tells the people, "These are the four things that you need to do to sit, to walk, and to stand."

And he says, "You need to sing songs together. You need to come and gather in church and you need to sing and glorify the name of Jesus. You need to sing songs alone." Then he you need to sing songs by yourself. Some of you don't sing speak songs.

I don't know. Number four, you need to give thanks. Number three, you need to give thanks. And number four, you need to prefer others over yourself. That second one, sing songs to yourself. Those those include psalms. Psalms. David, I lift my eyes. 121. and I lift my eyes to the hills.

Where does my help come from? David isn't just like, you know, we sing the song, I lift my eyes up to the mountains. Anyone know? Only the Commonwealth people do. And we sing it like, but David is sitting in anguish. He's looking around like, where is my help?

I'm looking to the mountains. I'm looking to the highest places in life. I'm looking to the greatest perspective I could get. if I get up there, could I get the perspective? Could I get the aid? COULD I GET WHAT I NEED TO GET OUT OF THIS TURMOIL? And he's saying, "No, even the highest places in life cannot rescue me cuz my help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth."

These are these psalm moments where we sing the song of our heart to the Lord. I feel stuck. I feel overwhelmed. I feel afraid. I feel embarrassed. Second question is you got to recognize your heart's response. When I'm afraid, stuck, ashamed, what do I want to do? I hide.

I shrink back. I fight harder. I talk less. I talk more. For me, I often realize the first one first. I usually am wanting to hide, wanting to fight, wanting to run away. And I have to stop and go, "Wait, wait, wait, wait. This isn't my design. This isn't my new creation."

Paul says in Ephesians 4, he says, "Throw off your old humanity and put on, clothe yourself in a new redeemed humanity." The 2 Corinthians 5:17, new creation. I think sometimes we think, "Oh, I got saved, so I'm a new creation." But everywhere in the New Testament is this emphasis to where you're going to put your attention and your affection.

So that new creation identity is lived out daily through your words, your thoughts, and your deeds. So I recognize my discomfort. I recognize my heart's response. You know that sometimes we're fighting. We're we're actually fighting with someone we love. It's just because we felt embarrassed. We're having a whole discussion about how mad we are and how but we actually just felt really ashamed.

And we can actually take time to go, man, I think I just felt really embarrassed. It's funny how you can fight with someone and you talk, but I didn't say this and I did say this and I didn't mean that and I did. And when you just settle to I'm fighting you because I feel embarrassed.

And when we can actually settle that, we can actually discover, oh, my peace doesn't come from solution. My peace comes from there is no blame for those who are in Christ Jesus. That there's forgiveness for me. there is redemption for me. Are you with me? >> So, I recognize my discomfort.

I own my heart's response. And then I own my position and I seek to find his position for me. When these kinds of things come up, when new challenges arise, we're invited to root ourselves. Ephesians 3:14, to be rooted and grounded in Christ's love. I want to talk quickly practically.

I actually have some time which is wow. In new seasons and opportunities, new questions arise. It could be a big season. Like I said, it could also be like a nuance of a a relationship that's you know I always say relationships go in threes. The first three months is bliss.

The next three months you you kind of wrestle through some things and you kind of get to know each other really well. And after nine months you can tell if you want to get married. That's what I think. I think it goes in threes. Sometimes you step into from the bliss into that place of real confrontation and we have these questions that come up and this happens throughout life.

It's can I do this? You get a new opportunity for work or the Lord you get a new prophetic word or all of a sudden someone says come share a testimony and you've never been on a microphone. You're like can I do this? you feel a prompting of the Lord to share the gospel or all of a sudden you're in a debate with with someone you love and you've never been vulnerable enough to go to that next stage of trust and you go can I do this then if you don't know if you can do it your next question is should I do this should I do this and this is the place the should I do this we take our our ability out of God's ability and we start putting it can I can I should I is this on me or have I actually been called.

What happens if they discover I can't? I got hired here as a pastor, 24, super excited. I'm going to do it. And then I let I lived with the feeling for months. What happens if they discover I can't actually do this? Do I get fired? Like I I was living like part of my dream.

And I couldn't believe that I got to be in this house and pastor and shepherd and and I was young and learning and this feeling of being like an impostor, like I'm called a pastor, but I'm becoming a pastor. I'm learning how to love people. And I think in my head I thought that when you get the title, you're going to be awesome.

Or even getting up here and preaching, I'm growing as I learn to to display and communicate the word of God. Such a weird thing to grow while you're doing it. But that's life. In life, you get married, you go, I do, and you say hip hip hooray. And then all of a sudden, you're about to grow with each other for 50 years.

And turns out sometimes people's growth is painful. Kids, new co-workers. Are you with me? >> And so, can I do this? What happens when they discover I can't? Am I rejected? Sometimes we get to what happens if they discover I can't and we just abandon the walking alto together.

We just leave the position and we don't go sit with the Lord. We just try harder or we just go into a cave. What will they think of me? Sometimes we ask the question, what do I contribute here? It was a few years ago, a few years a long many years ago, probably 10 years ago, Gabe asked me to teach a women's class for BSSM.

And I was stressed out. And I was stressed out because I had not yet answered some of these questions as a woman and as a leader. And I was sitting having to make a class. And I realized that I didn't know if femininity fit in leadership. I would hear things like, "You walk like a girl, you run like a girl, you throw like a girl, you're being such a girl."

And it didn't sound like a positive thing to be a woman. I'm not going to lie. And I had inside of me this ache and desire to be a part of something with the Lord. And so what I did was I I've loved being a woman, but when it came to leadership, I just would leave some of those parts that I didn't know what to do with because I didn't know how they fit.

And you know, even today is so beautiful. My father preached in our Methodist church this morning and I was watching him last night before I went to bed. And then my mom preached tonight while I was preaching first service. And the reason why I had this journey was cuz I watched my mother as a leader not know if she had a spot.

And it took so long for her to step into her call just because of her femininity. And so I'm trying to write this class, you know, and I'm trying to walk before I sit. I'm trying to write the class and get all the scriptures and Ezeku from, you know, Genesis 1 and two and and I'm looking at all the passages and there's an internal wrestle inside of me and it goes, I don't want to do this.

I don't want to teach this. Someone else should teach this. And then I'm getting frustrated, right? A little bit of anger is rising up in me like why has this been like this for women? It didn't feel like a it didn't feel like a good thing to be a woman in in my environment and and I'm wrestling and this is what the Lord says to me.

He invites me to sit. Why don't you sit before you walk, Haley? He said, Haley, unanswered questions create instability. Instability creates comparison and comparison creates competition. Competition kills creativity. And then he started talking to me about how every person is uniquely designed. And when we start comparing, we lose our unique authentic design that God gave us.

And then he said this to me, comparison is a fruitless exercise. When you compare, you look externally and it kills creativity because you disconnect from the vine. You unplug yourself from trust in the Lord and his making and you plug yourself into someone else's identity as your source of success.

But in chapter 4 of Ephesians, Paul starts talking about the walk and he makes it really clear that that we as believers are called to be in unity but not in uniformity. He starts talking about individual calls and graces and designs, apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, saints with unique graces and giftings.

And he begins to invite us not just simply into casting off our old self as individuals, but actually as a body together and collectively casting off that which has passed and putting on that which is a new creation. and coming together not in agreement but actually in the place of we all have something to bring and thus we become a representation of his heart to the world.

My question is what is your well-worn path? When I say that I um I mean where are the go-tos in your life that you go to when you feel tired, overwhelmed or afraid? You know the best version of you, right? The best version of you is really the fruit of the spirit.

It's the joy of the Lord. You have peace. You have excitement. You have hope towards life. The best version of you has has a sense of assuredness in who you are created to be in God. Has a sense of assuredness in his love for you. You know, I struggle with migraines and I would go to a chiropractor and he would adjust me and a few days later I'd have to go back because my body would find its way back to the old alignment.

I had to start seeing a physical therapist that would start working my muscles because if I didn't work the muscle, I actually wouldn't keep my skeleton in its alignment. See, I think sometimes we look at spirituality as a moment on a Sunday that we get an adjustment, but we don't realize we actually have to daily work the muscle to strengthen our body so that we can stay in the alignment we just got.

We have an encounter with God that changes everything. I' I've had an encounter with God that's changed everything. And yet you can feel the troubles of life and the challenges that bring new ground that gets tested and tried and you think, "Did I lose my breakthrough?" Anybody ever had that?

Some of you, you get delivered. You get set free from something and then all of a sudden the fear or the worry comes back and you think, "Did I lose my breakthrough?" And the Lord's like, "No, no, no. What you need to do is you need to remember that breakthrough and go enter back in and sit for a while.

Where have we put our peace? Is our peace sitting in someone figuring out that their attitude is awful? Is our peace sitting in someone's ability to communicate with us in a way we need them to communicate? >> Come on. >> Is our peace sitting with the promotion or the opportunity?

Or if this just happened, then I would feel loved, blameless, adopted, redeemed, sanctified, set free. I hope you're with me. Are we okay? >> Yeah. You're thinking it's that space in you, right? Recently, Banning was on the phone with me. Banning Leechshire, you know, Banning. Banning is like a fire of rapid questions, just going for it.

And I'm sharing and processing and and Banning says this to me. He says, "What is God doing in you?" And I said, "Banning, shut up and go away." That's what I said. I said, "I don't want to talk about that. I don't want to I don't want to look at what God's doing in me because it's easier sometimes to look at what's happening around me because I feel I feel like at least it I'm in momentum.

I don't have to sit at Twin View this morning and I'm closing with this. Dave got Dave got up to close worship and he started praying for fresh fire for people and you could just you could just feel the presence of God starting to move through the room and called people up to come to the front and they were receiving and I became aware in that moment that there were some people that wanted fresh fire but the issues and challenges of life were popping up in that desire.

Do you know sometimes we sit here and we've already mapped out the path that we're going to walk for the breakthrough to happen. You've prayed, you've come to the ministry line, you've believed and it hasn't happened. So, you've mapped out a path of 18 months and this decision and that thing and this and when this all happens, I'm going to get breakthrough.

And sometimes when the person gets on the pullpit, they go, "God's presence is here. There's fresh fire. There's fresh joy for you." Actually, those belief systems start popping up. And it's not that we don't want joy and fire. We've just determined the pathway for us to get that is an 18month walk that I have to do instead of a moment of sitting. >> And I feel like the Lord is inviting us again to take the lid off of what he can do and say, "Come and sit and come in here.

Come in here that in me I have given you every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. that in me before the foundation of the world I have chosen you to be holy and blameless not one day but today in love I've predestined you for adoption to be my children that in the beloved you have been blessed with grace that through the blood you have forgiveness how often do we sit in church with a measure of shame or guilt or blame and the Lord says come and sit sit with me.

Come and sit and hear all the things. We want revival. We are believing. We are in a move of God and we are believing for more. And sometimes I think we talk about the future so it shields us from having it now. >> Sorry. Sometimes I think about the future because it's easier to imagine the better version of me getting the good things than it is imagining the now version of me receiving all that he has.

So I want you to stand and I want to pray together today. I can feel it as I as I even preach. You know there's I've been married. How long have we been married? Nearly 16 years. I think he had to go get my little girl. You know that in marriage you don't usually disagree about new things.

Do you usually have well-worn pods of places where you butttheads? No. I want to tell you in this moment sometimes there is a hopelessness that arises when that conversation shows up. Again, I I see it a lot in our men. I I I didn't imagine doing this, but I want to say this.

I see this sometimes in our men. This hopelessness as their woman begins to share emotions that they aren't sure if they know how to get her out of that place. And so, you hit that well-worn path and you just rather don't say anything than engage and end up in a fight.

And I feel like the Lord is saying, "Come and sit with me." When you hit that place, instead of going, "I'm not going to be able to do this. I'm never going to be able to meet her emotional need. I'm never going to be able to fulfill." And actually, the Lord says, "No, no.

Come and sit with me." Some I'm sure there's things for ladies or other people that there's hopelessness around. And the Lord says, "Come and sit. Come and sit." So, would you just do this? Put your hands on your heart. Jesus. Teach teach me how to sit, God. God, would you give us the kind of faith?

Oh, Holy Spirit, spirit of wisdom and revelation who opens our eyes that enlightens our hearts in the knowledge of Christ who leaps and dances and twirls and falls over backwards. Oh God, I hear the Lord say like, "Are we ready to leap and dance and twirl when we see Jesus and maybe fall over backwards?

I've fallen over backwards before because of his love and I'm not ashamed of it. I want more, God. I'm hungry for the more of you. I'm hungry, God, for a deep and profound experience of your love and what I have in you, God. I pray, Lord. I pray today I feel like stones rolling away like that tomb.

Things that you think have been delayed. You're like Lazarus is dead and he's smelling by now. Jesus, where were you? I hear him say, "Can I roll the stone away? Come and sit with me. >> Come and sit with me. Thank you, Father. Will you just put your hand on your neighbor beside you?

I want to pray like we prayed at Twin View for fresh fire right now. For a fresh fire. There are things that fire, the fire of God can take care of in a moment. Lord God, I pray right now. Would you just pray for a minute just for fresh fire, fresh infilling?

Thank you, Lord. There's a weariness that is coming off that has come with the question of can I do this? What happens if I can't? Some of you have been running on the hamster wheel of unanswered questions and you've been comparing yourself and the Lord says it's time to get off the hamster wheel and come and sit.

Stop running and come and sit with me. Come and sit with me, God. We pray for fresh fire, fresh infilling. Woo! Thank you, Lord. Thank you for the anointing that breaks the yoke, the anointing THAT LIFTS THE BURDEN. GOD, WE THANK YOU, LORD, THAT YOUR burden is easy.

Your yoke is light. Lord, would you lift the yoke, God? Would you bring a freedom, God? We pray for a move of the spirit, a mighty rushing wind filling your people with joy and tenacity and hope and freedom, Lord Jesus. And God, I pray for a holy confidence in who you say you are and who you say we are.

I pray for an expression of authenticity in this body, UNIQUE GIFTINGS AND CALLS coming forth, blessing one another. Yeah. I just pray for blessing. I pray for blessing. Blessing in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. Just hold your places for a minute. I didn't do this previous service. I want to if you are hearing this message and you do not know Jesus as your savior.

You don't know what it is like to live with the availability to be free from shame, guilt, and sin. You're like, I don't even know what it means to live blameless, and I want to live free from that. And you're like, I want to give my life to Jesus.

Would you just raise your hand in the room? We would love to pray with you right now. And if you're online, you can put in the chat, I need Jesus. Is there anyone here or in the great room? Hallelujah. Well, we just pray with those online or anyone in this room that maybe wasn't um able to raise their hand.

Lord, we just pray right now. We thank you, Jesus. We receive you as savior. We receive that it is in you, through you, and by you. And only only through you, God, that we receive salvation, redemption, and we walk blameless. And God, we receive you as our savior today.

And we glorify you, Jesus, as our king, our lord. come and take your place in our hearts as Lord and King. Holy Spirit, we invite you to fill in Jesus name. Amen. >> Amen. >> Amen. Can we give a big round of applause, please, friends? I'd just like to take a moment to invite our ministry team up.

And you're going to find a line of wonderful humans with their hands up. If you want to get prayed for, prophesied over, um I want you to come. and you we line up generally just in the in the aisles and we'd love to pray for you. If you gave your life to Jesus or want to give your life to Jesus today, we've got this giant sign on the left here.

You know exactly where to go. We've got a team that want to pray for you. Uh I'm sitting here and you know what I'm really feeling. I feel like super connected to God and to people. Just feels a amazing like anointing for connection. So, I just encourage you take like five minutes to make sure you say goodbye, hello, have a great day.

To the person that's next to you, been sitting next to them the whole time. Make sure you just say have an amazing day. And I'm going to pray for you for for 10 seconds and send you out. Lord Jesus, thank you that we receive your word today. We thank you, Lord, that your word is preached and we receive that word.

And I ask that it would bear fruit, that we see the fruit of the spirit in our life today. And everybody said, >> "Have an amazing day, friends." >> Come on. Such a good word. Haley was so fun and personal and it was just great. I was texting our thread with our team.

I was like, she's crushing. Such a good word. But also, I saw some people put in the chat, I need Jesus. And if you don't know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, I can't stress this enough. It is the most important decision that you can ever make in your life. >> It is uh it is the most lifegiving, most essential thing that we can actually do. >> We actually can't do this life without Christ.

It is his perfect sacrifice. And so if you don't know what it's like to have a personal relationship with Jesus, I want to invite you just to surrender everything right now today. And if that's you, I want you to put in the chat, I need Jesus. I've already seen a couple people that put it in there.

Uh, but if that's you, just go ahead and hold out your hands. Go ahead and repeat this after me and just say, "Father, I can't do this on my own. I acknowledge that you sent your son to come as a man, fully God, fully man. That he came and he died for my sins.

That after three days, he rose again from the dead. He rose up to heaven. And now he is seated me with him. Father, will you forgive me? Will you cleanse me of all unrighteousness? And will you come into my life? And then I just want to encourage you just to pray in your own words just to invite God out loud into your space and allow him to speak to you, him to wash over you, but we want you to put it in the chat because our pastors want to come around you.

We want to pray for you. We want to celebrate with you. And then we have ministry rooms at the end, too. And so if you're needing a miracle, you're believing for something to happen, I want you to encourage you to click on those links because we have ministry teams waiting to pray with you. >> So good.

I know some of you are praying that prayer. You're just coming into the family of God. We'd love to just cover you and bless you after this. Um I feel really stirred right now. I think people getting an opportunity myself getting an opportunity just to sit sit in the midst of whatever the Lord is doing.

I think it's super easy to look at everything that's happening around me and saying if that thing was different then I wouldn't be struggling with this and if that thing had changed then I wouldn't be struggling with this but actually figuring out what's God doing in me what's he what's he doing here and taking some time to sit with the Lord to remember who he is what you have access to even now but um the call at the end for fresh fire I just I still feel that and so Holy Spirit right now wherever people are I don't know if you felt the invitation even as Haley was praying.

Maybe you thought that's great that's happening in the room. Maybe you received it already. But God, I pray right now that you would fill your people that they would get a fresh baptism that right now you would surround them, Holy Spirit, and that you would fill them with the fire of God.

God, I pray that you would um begin to move that you would begin to stir, Holy Spirit, and that you would rest on your people. I saw so many people all of a sudden even on um your head you begin to feel the fire of God and I felt like God was actually bringing restoration and even healing to minds right now.

And so if you've been having any issues with um even tormenting thoughts, I felt like there was like repetitive um thought patterns that kept coming and coming. These lies that were coming faster than arrows. And I saw the fire of God actually resting on heads and on foreheads today. and I saw those lies getting burned.

And so, God, we just thank you that right now. You're actually beginning to fill people, God, with your fire. You're beginning to fill people with your spirit, God, and you're doing what only you can do. I think it's um it's so easy to look at the logical side of how things work and actually forgetting to rest on who he is, what he's paid for, and what we have access to.

And so, right now, God, we just say we want more. We ask that you would come and fill us, God, that you would fill your people. and right now that people would be radically radically filled by your spirit. >> Come on. >> Yeah. Come and fill your people, God.

We ask for a fresh baptism. We ask that you would come. And if you're um just sitting wherever you are, just say, "Uh, come, Holy Spirit." You might even do a prophetic act. I saw people sitting in their living rooms and you were sitting on couches and you found yourself sitting on the floor and you just said, "Holy Spirit, I want to sit in this moment.

Would you come and fill me?" God, we just pray right now that you would begin to fill your people. >> Come on. >> Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. >> Wow. >> Come on. You know, it's such a good work uh word today. >> Um >> and it's such a reminder that it is by grace >> that we actually are able >> to even uh experience these things.

You know, when you know, Cassie is so right. There's just this invitation just to >> uh get hungry again. >> Yeah. But often times when we hear that, we put the emphasis on our own effort and our own works when it's actually a surrender that gives birth to the hunger. >> That's right. >> And when we can actually sit, as Haley was talking about today, when we can actually give up, when we can actually just surrender to Christ and we allow him to fill us, we allow him to drive out all the stuff that is me, >> right? you know, Christ uh Paul often said, you know, it I boast to know nothing except for Christ and him crucified. >> Yeah. >> The emphasis wasn't on him.

It was on Christ's perfect sacrifice. And so, I just want to encourage you this throughout the day, throughout the week, to focus on that sacrifice because it's that thing that actually empowers us to do the thing that we want to do. Y. >> And so, Father, I just thank you for a fresh infilling right now of your spirit. >> That it's your Holy Spirit that actually produces the good work within us.

That we can't do anything on our own behalf. That it is actually your good works in us that produces these things. And so, Father, we thank you for grace. >> Thank you, God. >> We thank you for peace. I saw a number of you putting in the chat, I need Jesus.

That's amazing. I mean, that is the greatest thing that you can do is actually surrender your life to Christ. But it's really easy after you surrender your life to Christ that you get now you get in this thing of like, okay, I receive Christ by faith, but now I'm going to obtain him by works.

It's like, now I'm going to take hold of him by works. No, no, no, no. >> It's a continual surrender to Christ daily. It is forsaking that that self and actually receiving him. And so, Father, I just thank you for an impartation of grace, of rest, a revelation of what you've purchased at the cross.

And so, Father, we just thank you for blessing right now. >> Thank you, God. >> And I know many of you are believing for a miracle. You're asking for healing or breakthrough. And so, if that's you, put it in the chat again. We want to pray for you at this end.

And then, just a reminder, we have ministry rooms at the end. You're like, "Where's the link?" The link's going to show up in the chat. It's going to be in there. you can be looking for that and I want to encourage you after we're done here to click on that if you're looking for more ministry.

We want to partner with you, believe for breakthrough. >> But if you have a prayer request, I know we did some of it >> um you know at the beginning, put it in the chat. We want to we want to believe for Christ >> to work on your behalf right now. >> Thank you. >> And so just looking right now. >> It's so good, Steve.

You keep saying it, but I want to just read it from Ephesians 2. It's by grace that you have been saved. >> It is by this grace. This is Ephesians 2:5. um and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. >> Come on. >> So that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace and kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Again, verse eight, for by grace you have been saved through faith and this is not your own doing. It is the gift of God, not a result of works so that no one may boast. God, I pray even right now that we would recognize and receive the gift that you've given us.

Come on. >> It's there's uh nothing worse than giving a gift to somebody and watching it sit on their shelf forever. >> Come on. >> The gift the best gifts are the ones that you start to enjoy. The the gifts that you start to play with, the gifts that you actually allow um you know use in.

And so God, we just right now activate even our faith to actually lean in and say, "This is what you did. It is by grace that I was saved. It is by like the gift of healing. It's a gift. I'm going to receive that." And so God, we just bless our people.

I know some people are saying you need miracles of healing physically and emotionally. Some of you are saying that you have ear infections, um sinus infections. Um I I I saw someone else who is asking for prayer for identity, redemption, restoration, a situation around a legal situation, healing and ears, um a route of tiredness to go, uh healing for your car, all all of these different things.

And God, we just say um you see us. It doesn't matter what it is that you're struggling in. It doesn't matter if it's um a physical issue or if if someone has cancer. God, right now, would you come and rest upon your people, God? We just speak life into places where um people have suffering, where people have pain, where people are experiencing even um infections or um physical issues in their bodies.

And we just say uh uh be healed in Jesus name. God, we just speak to their bodies and we say be healed in Jesus name. in any areas where it feels like there's been lack or um even issues with uh uh relationships where uh I feel like there's been friction.

God, we just speak life life in life in abundance, God, right now in Jesus name. >> Come on. Want to encourage you to be testing out your body, testing out your body even the rest of the day. Any notice for change, thanks Jesus. But the what what Cassie read is so important and it reminded me uh when I was in university I I really struggled with performance uh religion comparison you know competition of the I mean I'm still competitive but um Cassie can attest but uh not with people like uh in games and sports.

Yeah. >> Uh but I remember just going through this thing where I needed a detox of religion. >> Yeah. >> That I had this thing that I needed to work my way to God. I need to do things to please for him. And I remember for about six months, the only books of the Bible I read was Ephesians chapter 2, Romans, Colossians, and Galatians. >> And those were the only books of the Bible I stayed for was six months.

And I read some of it every day. And it was like a religion detox. Complete religion detox. Because all of those books that Paul is writing, all the emphasis is on Christ's finished work on the cross and on his performance, what he accomplished on our behalf. And so I want to encourage you if you're sitting there and you're struggling like, man, I don't know how to access grace.

I don't know how to get this thing. I don't know how to sit. I want to encourage you, look at Romans, Ephesians 2, Colossians, Galatians, and get a religious detox because it is Christ's work in us that is the hope of glory. It's not our ability to pray.

It's his ability to answer. It's not in our self-effort. It's in his great work on the cross. And so, Father, I just thank you for peace. I thank you for grace. Father, we thank you for a stirring and a revelation of your goodness and on your ultimate work on the cross.
