jump in. We would love to know where you're tuning in from. And so, if you're joining us in the chat, go ahead and put it in the chat. Uh, and as you do that, I wanted to read uh this over you. It's in Psalms 46:1, and it says, "God is our refuge and strength, an everpresent help in trouble.

Therefore, we will not fear. Though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their uh with their surging, there is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the most high dwells.

God is within her. She will not fall and God will help her at the break of day. And uh then it goes on to say, "The Lord almighty is with us. The God of Jacob is our fortress. And our prayer for you today and this morning and for the week is that God would be your place of refuge, would be your place of comfort, that he would be your place of defense, that you wouldn't feel the need to try to defend or to do anything, but he would actually be your advocate.

And so, just whatever you're going through, whatever is coming your way, uh I just want to pray for you even out of the gate. And so, go ahead and hold out your hands like you're about to receive a gift. But Father, I thank [snorts] you that you're our safe place.

That we don't put our faith and trust in man. We don't put our faith and trust in circumstances. We actually put our faith and trust in the Lord. And Holy Spirit, I ask that you'd be so close and that you would come and be a safe place for us to dwell and to experience your love and of grace in Jesus name.

Thank you, Father. See many of you coming in from Florida, Brazil is always the send Brazil is happening right now too. So blessings over Brazil, >> England, England, California, Utah, Oregon, Canada, North Carolina. >> Come on. We are so glad that you guys are here. And as always, we would love for you to put prayer requests in the chat because we would love to pray for you before service and at the end of the service, we'll do some prayer, too.

But uh yeah, we're expecting for a big day. Yeah, we are. We're um actually going to start worship today. I think we have Austin Johnson, Leah Valenuela, Aubrey Archebec. Um we're going to have a unique service today that's actually going to conclude with communion. And so um we're telling our online family now if you can get your communion elements um ready.

If you have bread, a cracker, uh grape juice, wine, whatever it is, >> cardboard bread, if uh if you're using these things, [laughter] >> if you have a little package, amazing. If not, you can get creative with the Lord, but we'd love for you to join us in taking communion together as a family.

Um, we'd also encourage you to grab your Bibles and you can get your Bibles together. We're going to take a lot of time to pray. Um, it's going to be really significant. Of course, we're going to pray for you on the chat, but just throughout the service, it's going to be really helpful that you would have both of those things together.

Yeah. Anything else that they can expect? >> Well, I'm going to be leading a time of communion. It's going to be extended. So, uh, Dan Fairley is bringing the word today. Uh, and then at the end of service, I'm going to kind of lead an extended time of, uh, prayer and communion.

And so, I do want to get your Bibles cuz I'm actually going to give you something to actually read through while we go through it. But we're going to break the rooms into a couple of groups of four and five where we're actually just partaking of the elements, feasting on Christ, coming back.

Uh, you know, he is the one hope for all of mankind. And [snorts] so, uh, it's just this, you know, us coming back and the reentering of making sure that the cornerstone is the foundation stone that we're building everything from. And so, uh, get your Bible, get things to take the elements.

It's going to be a powerful time and we're going to see what God does. But also, we want to pray for you. And the one beautiful thing, you know, uh, about the cross for me is he didn't just pay the ultimate price for our sin. And yes, he did.

He paid the ultimate price for our sin. so that we could actually be receive the forgiveness of God, the cleansing of sin, the the the healing of our shame, but also he paid the ultimate price for our healing, for our brokenness, for us to be restored. And so, we want to partner with that reality with you even right now.

And so, some people put on there praying for my teeth to be restored. Uh someone even talking about needing clients within their own job. And so, go ahead and start putting in prayer requests in the chat because we want to pray. >> It's good. It's good. But I was even um sensing, Steve, as you were reading the word, I just felt this like hovering of peace come in.

And I don't know um I saw a couple of you are asking for peace, mental peace, um stability, whatever that looks like. And um I just felt like the Lord is going to cover us with a blanket of peace today. So if you're out there and you're you're you're needing it, you're saying, "I need um that prince of peace.

I need the the um helmet of salvation to cover my mind to actually come in and clear out any anxiety. God, we just pray right now that you would bring peace, that you are the prince of peace, and that you would clear out any uh foggess, any anxiousness, anything that's causing any chaos, God.

And we just say, Holy Spirit, would you come and flood out and that people would begin to experience your peace today. God, we just thank you for the blanket of protection, the blanket of peace, and that you would come and cover your people. If that's you, just even maybe just do a um a little prophetic act here and just even cover your mind and just allow the Lord to come and cover and to fill you right now.

We just bless you. >> Come on. >> Yeah. >> Bless you. >> Yes. Eric asking for prayer requests for healing of trauma and central nervous system. Other for lymphoma on left knee for 12-year-old son Noah. Yes. Skin issues. Um are someone's dealing with arthritis and knees in their back.

Uh many people putting uh peace uh praying for peace. Teeth and gums. Um humility. People asking for more humility there. Uh, and so if you need a miracle in your body, if you're believing for God just to come through in a big way, I just want to invite you to hold out your hands like you're about to receive a gift.

You've probably heard me say this a a million times, but uh nothing magical about this position, but it just reminds me that my job is to receive, not achieve, that he paid the ultimate price. Uh, and so, Holy Spirit, right now, we just thank you for coming. God, we just command all pain to leave people's bodies, arthritis in people's knees and their back.

God, we just release peace into their body right now. No more pain, no more issues. God, we thank you for restoration of teeth. God, we thank you for that lymphoma dis disappear over Noah right now. We thank you for healing coming over people's skin and rash, mental clarity to come right now.

But God, we release the peace of heaven over people in Jesus' name. And God, we thank you right now for a restoration full of full mobility of strength to come in right now in Jesus name. Thank you, Holy Spirit. And just want to en encourage you just to test out your body and pay attention for what the Lord is doing.

And if you notice any change, go ahead and put in the chat. We want to see what Jesus is doing because we want to partner with what he's doing and just celebrate uh even more and believe for more breakthrough. >> It's so good. Someone from our um Bethl online family said that I think it was two weeks ago that um they received prayer for a right shoulder and they can now lift heavy weights.

And so if you're on this call and you have issues with your shoulder, we're just going to partner with that testimony and that what Jesus has done once he's more than willing to do again do again. And so if that's you and you're like, "Oh, I wasn't even sure they didn't call out a shoulder."

But actually that testimony releases faith for you to experience the same healing power. God, we just thank you that you did it for one of our family and that you would do it again. That any achiness, any pain, any issues with like the rotator cuff, God, right now that you would come, you would restore, you would realign, and you would take the pain out in Jesus' name.

We just bless your bodies. >> Come on. Amen. Come on. We continue to see prayer requests come in. We have team on the chat. They're going to be partnering prayer with you. And then also just want to encourage you just to pray. You know, this is a beautiful thing about the body of Christ. are coming in from all over the world that we actually get to uh see each other's needs and actually come around them a partners see Jesus get his full reward.

So I want to encourage you to pray as well. We're going to keep praying and then checking in about how your conditions are going. But we're so glad you guys are joining us. We're expecting for an amazing day with the Lord just being so close uh in this time.

And so we love you and we will see you at the end of service. God bless you guys. Hello. Hello. Hey, let's all stand together all over the room. We're going to start here in just a moment. Give you just 30 seconds to get up. How's everyone feeling this morning? >> Feeling good.

Feeling excited about what the Toba. Thank you. Feeling excited what the Lord's going to do today. We are excited. The Lord I don't know if you guys know this. Just a little reminder. God is really good. He's in a really good mood. He wants to meet with us today.

This is actually his day. This is his day. Lauren texted this morning uh in a text thread that we're in and she said, "I woke up this morning and saw the sunrise." Which blessings to her cuz I was not up that early. Um and then she texted, "This is the day.

This is the day that the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. And I just want to remind you that this is his day. And we have one responsibility this morning is that we get to rejoice in what he's going to do today. Yes.

You believe that? >> Yes. And we get to rejoice as a group of believers. We get to rejoice with these amazing people that are all around us. So, like we do on most Sunday mornings, could you do this? Turn and find someone that you may not know. Find someone you don't know.

Introduce yourself. Welcome them to church. Do that for just a few minutes. And then we're going to get into the rejoicing part of the service. >> ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> I've seen your faithfulness ((music playing)) move in the wildest ways. ((music playing)) Heat. ((music playing)) >> ((music playing)) >> Yeah. Oh, we exalt the lamb so [singing] holy, perfect in all ((music playing)) your time. Hallelujah. Good morning. ((music playing)) If you're able to stand with us, please do. We're going to pray pray together.

We got a couple things to pray about. Pray for. There was something in in Israel's uh culture, ((music playing)) something that the Lord had taught them. Uh an Old Testament concept that I think is is should be even better in the New. And that is the power of a blessing. uh they would ((music playing)) actually uh walk by a field of maybe a neighboring ((music playing)) uh a neighbor harvesting a crop and and they would they would yell out or speak over them, may the Lord bless you or I bless you in the name of the Lord and they would see these endeavors of their neighbors, their friends, ((music playing)) and they would pronounce blessing as as a a mandate really from the Lord uh to ((music playing)) live in a way where you you're looking for opportunities, looking for occasions s to celebrate and to bless.

((music playing)) And the Lord gave us this, he gave us this insight from scripture that there's life and there's death in the power of the tongue. And we actually he he has us bless each other to say things ((music playing)) because he wants to back up what's said. It it's not like here I just want to make you feel good, so I'm going to say bless you.

God bless you. We say it casually commonly, but it's actually to invoke a response from heaven over an individual's life to mark them. It It's almost like when you bless somebody, when you actually from the ((music playing)) heart bless somebody, you're painting a target on them and you're saying, "God, hit the target with your blessing."

It's it's like saying, "Here, I chose this one, ((music playing)) so you choose this one." And it's a privilege that we have. So, we're going to pray. Let me uh read this verse that was given to uh the high priest in Israel to Aaron. ((music playing)) This is what he was to say over the entire nation.

The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make his face shine upon you. That's ((music playing)) the shining face of a delighted father. So that's what you're you're pronouncing over someone. May the Lord make his face shine upon you, be gracious to you. May he lift up his countenance upon you and give ((music playing)) you peace.

That's an extraordinary statement to make. So here's what I want you to do. We're going to do two things, but we'll do this one first. Just grab a hand or put your hand on the shoulder of someone. Somehow make connection with somebody. And I want you to pray for the blessing of the Lord in their life.

That's all. I want you to pray for the favor, the face of God, the face of a delighted father to shine over them and their household. Yeah. Lift up your voice. Just pray for that. >> Yes. We declare blessing blessing of God. Shining face of a delighted father, every person, every household, every family member.

A delighted father. A delighted father. Yes. Grateful. Now, I want you just to look at them and just say, "I bless you in the name of the Lord. I bless you." All right. Now, we're going to pray for one more thing. All right. Don't get carried away there.

Don't get too happy. All right. Yeah. Our whole online family, we bless you as well. Uh, one more thing very specifically we need to pray for. Chris is not here today. Chris and Kathy, uh, their oldest daughter Jamie ((music playing)) fell off a horse yesterday. They live on the co coast Fortuna and fell off a horse, hit her head, broke ((music playing)) some ribs, uh, issues with the spleen, some pretty significant injuries.

((music playing)) And, um, they flew her from the coast to Reading last night. And I know Chris was with her at least for ((music playing)) so this morning and is probably with him now. Chris and Kathy both. I want us to pray that God would invade that hospital room would so touch and heal and restore her body.

So we we're going to stand in agreement on this one. So this time you have to grab hands. Not not not put your hand on the shoulder. No shoulder stuff. It's the hand stuff. All right. Don't ask me why I don't have a scripture. We're just going to do it anyway.

All right. Well, I want you to lift up your voices and let's contend for the complete restoration not only of Jamie but of this entire family that has been hit by this assault. We just draw a line in the sand and we say no more. No more. So lift your voices.

Let's pray. ((music playing)) Restore everything. ((music playing)) ((music playing)) We pray Lord that the Holy Spirit would come ((music playing)) literally release over Jamie right now that hospital room in fact that entire part of the hospital ((music playing)) that'll be so invaded with the presence of the Almighty God. We speak to the spleen be healed. [snorts] The broken ribs, the concussion, all the issues, we declare healing over you in Jesus' ((music playing)) name.

We also pray for miracles throughout this room. ((music playing)) those on our online family that have come with incredible needs in health, in family, finances, ((music playing)) we just declare the healing grace of Jesus be released over every household, every family, even those who are not in the room. We pray visitations ((music playing)) of God.

We pray this in Jesus name. In Jesus name. Amen. You can let go of hands. Why don't you Yeah. ((music playing)) Why don't you hug somebody's neck? Bless a few folks before you're seated. Yeah. ((applause)) ((music playing)) >> Thanks. Thanks. Thank you. >> Here we go. Tom. >> Okay. >> All right. Well, good morning, Bethl Church.

Hey, if you are a junior high student in this service, this would be your cue. you get to head off to your junior high class if that's what you and your family have planned for during this service. So, we bless you junior highers. Now is the time as you're as you're getting seated.

Let's see. Is anybody looking for seats? You want to raise a hand if you have an open seat next to you? That would be super helpful. If you're around the side or the back looking for a chair, there's definitely some open in this room. I can see. Hands up.

Yep. Thanks so much for keeping your hand raised for a moment. Perfect. Good. Good. Good. Okay. Yeah, looks great. Okay, you can put your hands down. Thanks so much, church. Oh, man. Good to be here with you. I have had the priv privilege of being at all the services this morning.

And as I was driving into first service, uh our prayer meeting is at 7:15. So, you don't know this at the 10:30, but if you come to the 8:00 church service, you get to see the sunrise in the winter. [laughter] You guys slept past that. Some of you did or you were having coffee.

Well, I was driving during sunrise and it was it was so beautiful this morning. The sky was this deep orange color and the clouds were kind of mixing in and my Catholic roots came out of me and I burst into song over Psalm 118 that says, "This is the day the Lord has made.

Let us rejoice and be glad in it." I was not here for opening. I was at Twin View. So, I apologize, but good word, right? Well, let me tell you at Twin View, I said the same thing. And so, during offering, Clint got up to receive tithes and offerings, and he broke out into song in the uh the South African Baptist version of that song.

And I'm here to tell you, it's not the same as the Catholic version. Uh, no, the Catholic version is a little more somber and it's definitely in a minor key. So, very different than the Baptist version, but there you go. I just want to bless you with that this morning.

It is such a beautiful day and so good to be with you. Hey, if you are a first time guest with us this morning, would you raise your hand and give us a wave? We want to know who you are. First- time guests. Any first- time guest? Keep your hand up.

Loud, proud, give us a wave. We are so glad to see you. Our ushers actually have something that are just for you, our first time guests. And we'd love it if you join our team in the south lobby after service. Uh we've got a team there that'll pray and prophesy over you.

And of course, if you are here to stay, we really want to make sure you know how to get plugged in and connected here. So, welcome first time guests. Okay, I have got some information for you today. Are you ready? >> Ready. Okay, perfect. February 25th, you are going to want to mark your calendars.

This is our annual business meeting. So, if you are a member here at Bethl Church, we'd love to see you there. Uh check-in starts at 6:00 p.m. and then the meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. And this is your yearly opportunity to be in the room and hear a bunch of updates from our team.

It's been a a big year, an exciting year, lots of changes, lots of transitions, so we'll have lots to talk about that night. Mark your calendars for the 25th of February. The next thing is that the week of February 16th, a lot of our children in this local community are on winter break.

Any parents of kids that will be on winter break? Does it feel to you like we've just been having break after break? Okay. Yeah, me too. Me too. It's okay. [laughter] Between like the flu and Christmas and all of the holidays, I'm like, "Wow, do we go to school anymore?"

I don't know. I don't know. Well, that week, we're thinking about you, church family, because we have got some things planned for your kiddos. Uh there's a winter fun week happening. You don't even have to get creative, moms and dads. You can just follow the schedule and show up.

There's going to be some movie a movie showing. There's going to be a craft workshop, some time at the skating rink, I think. Some sledding time, I've heard. So, I'll be there. We'd love for you to come. Uh, bring your friends and meet some new families, and it'll be a good time, even though our kids are not in school for another week.

[laughter] Okay. Um, let's see. You guys heard a little bit about this last week. >> [clears throat] >> Last week we told you that we have just opened up a new process for anybody in our church community whether on a local church level or in our online community anybody that has has experienced any level of abuse.

Um we have got a new process that we want to make sure you have all the details of. So there are two ways to make a report within this process either by phone or by form and a third party organization is receiving these uh forms and that helps keep Bethl completely accountable to the information given.

So our safe church policies and this process can be found on our website. It's bethl.com/safechurch. Okay. And you know what? In in these kinds of times, it's really important that we create moments and find opportunities to connect and have conversation as a local church community. So, we are making time for that this coming Tuesday at 6:30 in the evening here in the sanctuary.

Um, there will be child care from ages zero up to fifth grade. And this is a moment that's just for our local church members and attenders. um it's not open to the general public because this room is only so big and we want to make sure that we have space for our local church members and attenders to come.

So, if that's something that you think would be helpful, if you'd like to be with us that evening, um then we'd love to see you there this coming Tuesday. All right. Okay. It's time to take our tithes and offerings. So, I'm going to welcome up Rory. ((applause)) Hello. Hello.

It is offering time. Can we please stand up? I've got my wonderful mother-in-law here visiting with us this week, which is amazing. Gina, and I want to tell a story um about the impact of generosity before we take and do the declarations. She's a very generous woman and always carries money on her to make sure that she is overtipping and overgiving and if somebody helps her in the airport, she hands them money.

It's just her thing. And one of my daughters, my oldest, has watched her be this generous. She's generous with us, generous my with my kids, but everyone. And about gosh, within probably four or five weeks ago, my daughter was wanting to take money to go buy food at her uh sports gym.

And she said, "Dad, I have $5. The thing I want to buy is $2 or $4. Should I give the other dollar to the person at the front desk?" And I go, "Why would you do that?" And she goes, "To be generous like Gigi." And I said, "What?"

And she goes, "Well, Gigi, that's what they call her, is so generous. Do I just do that? Is that how I do it?" And I just wanted to I realized in that moment that generosity is something it's it's a command, but it's also caught. And it's it's an experience that we catch.

And we even see it. For God so loved the world, he gave out of love. When we experience that he's given us everything and we catch that, it is easy to be generous. And so today we're going to do offering reading number two. But I want us to think about the reality that there's nothing we have that he hasn't already given us.

And out of that love, it becomes so easy to go, God, here. It is easy to be generous back to you because you've given us everything. Amen. So we're going to do offering reading number two. Let's do this together. 1 2 3 As we receive today's offering, we are believing you for heaven opened, earth invaded, storehouses unlocked, and miracles created, dreams and visions, angelic visitations, declarations, impartations and divine manifestations, anointings, giftings and calls, positions and promotions, provisions and resources. es to go to the nations.

Souls and more souls from every generation saved and set free carrying kingdom revelation. Thank you, Father, that as I join my value system to yours, you will shower favor, blessings, and increase upon me so I have more than enough to co-labor with heaven and see Jesus get his full reward.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. If we could take our offering right now, we're going to pray over it and bless it right now. And as you do this, I want you to bless your own finances. Bless your house. Bless your own finances. Father, we thank you and we bless the finances of our individual houses and this house.

Father, we thank you that out of your love, you generously give. And we thank you for that revelation catching and putting deep into our heart that out of love, we generously give back to you. We love you, Father. We bless this offering and bless every household in our church in Jesus name.

Amen. Amen. As the offering buckets gets passed, you can welcome up pastor Dan Fairley. ((cheering)) Hey, thanks everybody. Good morning to you. As the offering's going around, Gabe volunteered to walk Gigi to her car at the end of the service. >> [laughter] >> carry your Bible, whatever needs to be done.

That's awesome. It's really, really good to be together and our online family. Great to have you as well. I I just want to before we start, I'm a little self-conscious. I My youngest son and the biggest one was we were uh busting up concrete yesterday uh down in the garden track.

So, that's old concrete and 5 in 6 in thick and it was a lot of work. We spent six hours working hard. I have a little blood blister there. So, if you're like, "Does that man have chocolate on his finger? Does he ever wash his hands? Or is that indelible ink?"

It's like, "No, no, that that's something else. That's hard work is what that is." Yeah. [laughter] Well, good. Let's uh pray together and then we're going to jump in. I just want to take a moment. Looks like the offering's gone all the way around. Good. Heavenly Father, we just invite your presence and your glory to be in these moments and ask for a grace on me, on us, and then as we head into communion that again, you'd prepare our hearts for a unique and important encounter with you in Jesus name.

Amen. >> Well, good. I'm just going to be speaking for about 10 or 15 minutes or so. I'm not going to be preaching. I haven't brought my uh Bible up here. The meat uh of the scripture will happen during our communion time. We'll spend some time reading the word with each other and over each other.

But I did want to give you a little bit of um just an update on where we are. If you're just visiting with us today, we just had a tender and important Sunday last uh Sunday where Bill Chris and myself entered into a time of repentance for the way that we had mishandled uh the discipline of Shawn BS in our environment and ask forgiveness for the impact of that.

And so we've been dealing w with that all week long and uh continue to feel the Lord's grace in that as we do as we kind of walk out the fruits of repentance for this time. And um it's been really really sacred and important and good and I'll I'll just say lifegiving uh to go through this process.

We've had lots of important helpful feedback as you can imagine from our local communities as well. We look forward to being with you Tuesday night uh just to hear from you as well. And as we've invited you to just catch us as you can around here and just kind of uh speak to us as well.

Some of you have dropped off notes. If you send an email, I'm still working through those. We are still working through those. That's going to uh that's going to be a bit of a go, but we will get to them. I will get to them. Um but thank you again for as a congregation, we've experienced so much uh kindness, truthtelling, uh compassion, and strength from you and really appreciate that. our national and international brothers as well just been uh feeling just that that support but also that tenderness of saying hey these are some things you can look at and do better.

So we'll we'll be looking at that as we go forward. We I'm aware there's some other situations that need to be addressed. We all are as well. We'll get there. Um and then we still have some more people to get a hold of. But this week's been wonderful in just reconnecting with people impacted, people hurt, people that have been in uh we just it's been obvious that there's been a disagreement and hurt between us.

I've had a couple of really meaningful phone calls cleaning up our mess. So has Chris and I imagine Bill has as well. So um that's it's wonderful to see the gospel at work where you just uh your the your sins and your hurts aren't permanent uh because of the work of Jesus Christ. uh the work of Jesus Christ and how we find a way through our our painful choices and our disagreements and we find a way through together to each other.

So uh it's rolling, but I do say there's some folks we still have to get a hold of and are looking forward to doing that as well. just in as I just take 10 minutes just to tell you where we're at. We are trying to go slowly in the Lord and not be in reaction mode to be deliberate and uh intensive uh intentional.

That's the word I meant to say. Um and to stay in a in a in a realm where we're responding and not merely reacting. And so we have a lot of important meetings already happened. We have a lot of important meetings ahead of us. We've our Bethl churches from around the globe were in town this week.

Good week for leadership uh you know front and center uh to be all together and it was great to have their strength, their support and uh their uh feedback as well while while we were together this week. Um so you know we're looking for wisdom from within the organization and outside the organization as well as we begin to reach for people and then as you can imagine whenever something difficult like this happens or self-inflicted wound like this happens you it is a time of reflection that says hey how did we get here uh why did we get here and how do we never ever ever ever end up in this spot again and so that's some of the reflection that we're having are there core values or principles that we need to examine are there things we need to uh the application of those princip principles needs to be reapplied.

And so we are in on the journey and together as a leadership and as a congregation I believe as we address these things. Um I think I I'm not sure if my mom said it but I think she said something like it and I've certainly heard it around but she said um there are seldom microwave solutions to crockpot problems.

And uh she's a believer. She could quote the scripture too but she had some pathy sayings that uh were super helpful. And so we don't have a microwave solution. You know, we've got a crock-pot problem. So we're going to need a crockpot solution. I'm not I'm trying to accidentally not swear while I'm up here, too.

So [laughter] So that's that deliberate that intention intentionality as we move forward. Um I I deeply feel the repentance that we asked for. I know Bill does and Chris does as well. And so, um, but he's, Chris said really well, we need to demonstrate the fruits of repentance. And that's what we'll be doing in the in the days and in the weeks ahead and working through it.

And part of that is a change in thinking. Um, repentance has this component of regret, but one of our leaders was talking to just a friend in Christ. They were going through a tough time and and our our leader said, "Hey, this sounds like a repentance issue." And they kind of said, "No, it's not a repentance issue.

I just need to change. It's like in my head. It's the way I'm thinking about it." And uh and our leader said that's repentance. Uh my man that's uh that's actually in the Greek word to change your thinking to to you turn away from your thinking. And we do that in our own relationships and our own marriages when our spouse says hey this is wearing me out or this is difficult for our connection.

We rethink how how important the connection is how we can adjust to protect the connection. And so a form of rep uh repentance is changing our behavior, our thoughts so that we can actually protect the connection with each other. Um as we are going through this time though I I know some of you it's been it's been very interesting to be part of the body of Christ.

Some of of you are like um hey let's uh I don't want to say this in an inappropriate way. Um like let's let's move forward you know uh let's not dwell here. uh others are feeling like we need to really sit down and so we're getting the plethora of that sort of thinking uh about how much we slow down and how much we move forward from the whole gamut.

And one of the things I want to say about that that I think is uh helpful at least for me is in my own life well when I teach on forgiveness uh in deeper life class which you should come to sometime 845 Sundays the uh [laughter] 48 weeks a year.

Okay. So um but we talk about uh talk about u forgiveness. We have Jesus saying hey forgive regularly 70* seven times. So I had an interesting question come up one time when I think the person had just been in a a situation where an in-law or a spouse somebody they loved had just continually held their sin before them in a blaming sort of way and they kind of had this great question.

They said how many times do I have to say I'm sorry? It was interesting moment, you know, we're we're in that sacred spot and I feel like the Holy Spirit dropped into my my spirit at that particular moment. Um like a word from him for that man. And and this is what it was.

It we say our sorry, we say that we're sorry until they can hear it. That's how often we say we're sorry. I remember in the '9s when there was a lot of confession. and the men of the congregation would stand and we'd confess to the women that we had, you know, uh, sidelined their voices or disempowered their ministry.

And I was probably in seven to 10 of those meetings, you know, and at some point I was being a little grumbly like, how many times do I have do we have to say we're sorry for this? And I remember the again the Lord just saying until they can hear it, Dan.

Until they can hear it. And part of it's a hearing. Part of it is needing to see the fruits of repentance. Absolutely. But I would just say for myself and for any of us in this situation is that we just uh the way I like to think about it is the repentance we asked for a year ago, a month ago, five years ago, we just represent that again.

We remember it. We touch it again and just hold out, hey, we asked forgiveness then stand before you again. I hear that it's still a problem and still painful. and just uh again humbly uh represent the forgiveness we asked for years ago or just days ago. So that's part of what I think the the position of my heart is is addressing this until folks can hear it and we can begin to rebuild a uh a trust with one another.

Ben Armstrong had that same sort of thing. He said, "Sometimes if you're forgiving people, the forgiveness comes, but there's still uh the feeling of the lack of there's been a trust with a withdrawal from the trust bank." And so sometimes you're like, "I forgave, but why don't we feel the same?"

And oftenimes it's because the forgiveness is genuine, but it's like, will we be able to rebuild trust? And so some of you and some of us with other our leaders, we're in that trust rebuilding and where you continue to make deposits and and be trustworthy in the midst of our relationships.

And so we have a sense that we are in that moment as well of continuing just to demonstrate ourselves trustworthy and making those deposits. And and then other times that the difficulty is just so painful and it just takes a little bit of time for the Holy Spirit's counsel, the council of brothers and sisters.

The forgiveness has come. The trust is beginning to be rebuilt. But oftentimes it's just the presence of the Holy Spirit of fellow brothers and sisters as we begin to move past the pain. As a leadership team though, I'll just tell you, uh, we're not in pain right now.

There is when you respond to conviction and grace comes in like a flood. And so there is a, if you've ever been in a spot where you've kind of repented, there is a time when the Lord lifts you up and lifts up your head powerfully and beautifully. It's not some sort of defiance or something else, but just like, hey, the Lord is at work in my heart and in our midst for his greater glory.

And there's a deep gladness over that. And so, as a leadership team, uh, you know, we are going to continue to def to represent the repentance to reorganize our world and and some of our structures and thinking about how uh how all that works together. But also I just want to say there's some gladness in the Lord that he is faithful in the midst of our mistakes and our sin and our failure as well.

Um it's again I didn't bring my Bible. I'm not preaching out of the Bible today. It's more the book of mom. But the other thing mom would say was um again this is derivative. She said something like this but it kind of boils down to this. Uh if you're going through hell don't sit down.

Uh so uh it's like it's good. some good German Irish wisdom there. So, so there's that sense of which going through the difficulty of this self-inflicted process, we we aren't going to sit down and u wallow in it or stay in it. We're going to begin to continue we're going to continue to walk out of it.

And again, it's that's a that's a momism. It's a bit of uh you know, folk wisdom. I know sometimes you're going through hell and it it just it you didn't you don't sit down on purpose. You fall down. You're exhausted. You're overwhelmed. again. So, I don't want to throw say anything to anybody about that.

And sometimes you need your friends, the brothers and sisters in Christ to come and find you and kind of pick you up and help walk you out of those difficult situations. But as far as we're concerned, we're just going to continue to move through it. And because, you know, Jesus uh is leading his church.

He's leading his global church. He's leading his, you know, his national church. He is the leader of this local congregation, 74 years young. um uh heading into our 75th anniversary in next year if I do the math right. But uh so he's leading us leading us individually and we trust him implicitly as well.

Every believer has the Holy Spirit. You have the inddwelling presence of God, the Holy Spirit in you. So do I. And he is a faithful advocate, a faithful counselor, a trusted friend as we walk out of this. And so our confidence is big in the Lord. And as I already mentioned, I think when we respond to conviction from the Holy Spirit or from friends, I think that's the other deal.

Sometimes you might not feel a conviction in your heart, but out of Matthew 18, your friends come and go, "Hey, I I have a I have a concern. There's a fault in this situation." So when we experience conviction from the spirit or our brothers and sister and we respond to it, there is like a weight removed and I would say an awareness of the grace that's always been uh available to us and our capacity to respond to it.

I do believe God convicts his people of their sin, but I do not believe there's condemnation for our sin. That in Christ there is no condemnation. And when I talk to the students often, I'm I'm like, "Hey, feeling somewhat bad about a failure or a sin, that's normal and healthy."

And so I playfully say, "Now again, I understand shame can be a corrosive identity that needs to be healed of. I completely understand that. But a tiny bit of shame when you don't do your homework on time, that's completely acceptable." Um, absolutely completely acceptable. uh just that sense of a I feel bad when I don't do the right thing and I think so a little bit of shame is is really healthy otherwise you you might be a psychopath and uh again we don't wear it it's not our identity the gospel delivers for that when I'm talking about it it's almost like shame with a lowercase s not a capital s right so that because again it's not an identity it it can be coercive it can be horrible but a sense of I feel bad when I do bad that's a normal that's that's how Christians should feel.

Um um and then the idea of condemnation. It's important that again the the Lord the difference between the Holy Spirit or my own super vicious selft talk or the selft talk of the world my selft talk's getting healed don't get me wrong but I can be pretty rough on this guy but the difference between my own that that part of me and the ho and the world is that when we when we fail like the the Holy Spirit says Dan you lied. uh the flesh or the the world says or Satan says you're a liar and tries to ascribe identity to them and that's where as a as followers of the gospel who've been radically transformed we cannot take on the any identity other than forgiven and saved in Jesus Christ and so that's the identity for all of us in this situation and in every single other situation as well so any place where we allow ourselves to feel abandoned by God or left this is a big one for Christians left to inflict our own self-punishment.

That that's a big temptation. >> Uh or left to reearn his love. Those aren't healthy stances for a man or woman who understands God's grace. But grace isn't easy. It isn't cheap. It it it grace sparks a remorse in our heart. Grace sparks a responsibility that we want to take responsibility.

Grace teaches us righteousness. it says in the book of Titus and it creates a desire for truth, a desire for accountability and a desire for transformation. So please don't hear me speak about grace and think it's just absolving from any sort of wrong. It is about accessing the undeserved love of God and his power to transform us.

One of our third core value here is that we are responsive to grace. And that means that well all grace is God's initiated everything, every bit of grace. Every good gift comes from him. And one of the ways I define grace is it's his undeserved love for us.

Some folks will say unmmerited favor. Those are two words I don't use very often. So I just thought it's his undeserved love. He loves me and I've done nothing to deserve it. But not only that, it's also his power to be transformed. And whenever we only hold to one side, it's it's two sides of the same coin of grace.

His undeserved love and his power to be transformed. If we hold on to just one side, I think we do fall into great difficulty in responding to grace. Um, we need to realize that it his love for us is undeserved. If you've been a Christian for a while, there can be a sneaking suspicion that I actually I've kind of earned it by now.

Like I've been pretty good for 26 years. And so, uh, you know, we just fall into that and you can tell when we start judging other people, unbelievers or that sort of thing. We like we feel like we're in God's family because we kind of deserve it. And we have to just realize, no, it's we've been saved by grace.

It's a work of the Lord. It's not by our own works so that nobody can boast. So, when you're celebrating this, I one of our one of my friends one time said, um, I think I've earned a little grace here. And, uh, it was a delightful moment. this is a Christian uh that uh but I I totally get it.

They're basically kind of saying I think I've been faithful long enough to actually make a mistake and fail here and you guys don't kill me for it. Like that's kind of what they're saying. And um yet you to say I've earned a little grace is an oxymoron. That's one of those things that's a nonsensical statement.

It's it's like saying uh my wife isn't married. Okay. Right. or I can't speak one word of English. Uh so those they are nonsense statements. And so th [laughter] this I again we've been loved by God and done nothing to deserve it. And this is our this is our baseline identity.

This um whole idea of creating humanity, then rescuing fallen humanity, restoring fallen humanity, and then living with a restored humanity the for the rest of eternity. That's the Lord's idea, not the church's idea that comes from him. But so we have the undeserved love, but we always have to hold on to the power to be transformed as well.

That's really, really important because if we just do the undeserved love, we we end up thinking I can do whatever I like and there's no consequences. But the truth is we cannot do whatever we'd like and have no consequences for it. that um he has given us the Holy Spirit and the body of Christ to be transformed into the likeness of Jesus.

So the um another way to put it, I forget who the author is, but uh another way of thinking about grace in a moment of sin and failure like we expressed last Sunday is that he loves us right where we're at. He loves us too much to leave us there.

And so if you have sin or or you or I are caught in a sin, the Lord loves us in the moment of sin, the moment of that selfish choice, that poor choice, that choice against his his beautiful holiness. He loves us right there, but he loves us too much to leave us there.

He's intent on taking us into a transformational moment where we become more like him. And I think we're on that journey together as leaders, as a leadership team. And so I have great thankfulness for the Lord um and his heart for us. And then uh as I mentioned that trust is needs to be rebuilt and I think that we'll be on that that journey of rebuilding trust.

But the other one that helps me sometimes is just whenever whenever leaders like disappoint us like we've disappointed you. I do it is helpful to remember that I've been in the church a long time. Lots of tough stuff's happened. Lots of gorgeous stuff has happened. Let's be clear.

Um, but I did learn a long time ago if that if the failure of one of my leaders shakes my my faith, my faith has been misplaced. >> And so I'm I'm just I'm like I'm just like it helps me because I because I get with the Lord and go, "Okay, Lord, I'm super disappointed in the way this was handled or the way they face this or that they won't face up to this or whatever happens."

Uh it just is a reminder that uh nobody is doing thing life perfect 24 hours a day, seven days a week. But the gospel is that one somebody did >> uh lived a perfect sinless life and then in self-giving love. We're going to have communion in just a minute where we are thinking about the self-giving love of God the Son, Jesus the Christ, and how he gave himself up for us that we might be freed from the power of death, transformed and healed of the power of sin and given resurrection life and then given his very presence to indwell us.

And so, um, I just in these seasons whenever you get a tough situation like we've just experienced together, uh, just remember, hey, our faith is in Christ alone. Christ alone. Steve's going to come and lead us in a communion moment. Uh, this is Steve Moore, everybody. And ((applause)) fabulous, one of our leaders, come on.

I'm actually going to have you guys stand up. So, you can stand up. If you're joining online, you can stand up as well. Unless you're driving a car, do not do that. I don't have a lot of mom isms, but I do have a lot of Jesus isms for you.

Okay? So, that's the goal. Okay? We're going to be doing a lot of scripture. So, as Dan said, he did no scripture. So, you're forgiven, Dan. Um, just want to point that out. Not a single scripture read there by your lead pastor. Beautiful. [laughter] I'm joking. Uh, don't crop that on the internet, please.

We have enough crops as it is. Um, but I I do want uh I do want you to go ahead and and get into groups of about three and five people. And if you don't have any of the elements, I want you just to raise your hand and our usher is going to come come around and and give you the elements.

If you're joining us online, uh now's the time to go and grab some elements of your own. If you got uh bread or crackers or whatever you can find, uh go ahead and take a moment to grab that. If you don't know uh the people in your group, I I hope you know by now to introduce yourself.

Uh and so you can go ahead and do that. And if you're online, I'm going to have you uh grab your Bibles as well. And make sure you grab your Bibles as well. >> [sighs] >> Now, be before we begin and go into communion, just go ahead and turn your attention up here real quick.

And if you if you have your Bible, you can open here. I wanted to uh start by reading in Psalm 62. And you know Psalm 62 it says, "My soul finds rest in God alone. My salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation. He is my [snorts] fortress and I will never be shaken."

And verse five, it says, "Find rest, oh my soul, and God alone. My hope comes from him. [clears throat] He alone is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress. I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God ((music playing)) for he is my mighty rock, my refuge.

Trust in him at all times, oh people. Pour out your hearts to him for God is our refuge. If you're here this morning and you don't have a relationship with God or you're watching online and you don't have a relationship with God, the partaking of communion is actually for the body of believers.

And so if you don't know him as your savior, I want to encourage you not to do that. But I just want to tell you, you cannot find true rest anywhere else outside of the person of Jesus Christ. He is the only person ((music playing)) that we have access for the forgiveness of sins, for the taking away of our shame.

And so I just want to take a moment right now if that's you where you don't you don't have a relationship with the Lord, maybe you're online, you're watching, you don't have a a relationship with the Lord, I want to give a moment for you to actually have a moment with God.

[snorts] And if you don't know the Lord and want to give your life to Christ, I want to invite you just to let people in your group know. ((music playing)) And we want to take a moment for them to pray with you. And so, church, this is where we get to be the church where we get to come around people.

And so, just someone real quick in your group just ((music playing)) ask, does anyone need to get right with Jesus? And I know that can be a, you know, a vulnerable thing, but let me tell you, ((music playing)) he is worth it. If you're online watching and you don't know the Lord, just put in the chat, I need Jesus.

And we have a team that wants to surround you, pray ((music playing)) for you. and we're going to go in a time ((music playing)) where we read some scripture together and we're going to partake of the elements. But when I was uh praying during worship, I felt the Lord direct ((music playing)) me to Proverbs 14 and reminded me of an encounter that I myself had with the Lord.

And in Proverbs ((music playing)) 14:26, it says, "He who fears the Lord has a secure fortress, ((music playing)) and for his children it will be a refuge." The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, turning a man from the ((music playing)) snares of death. I really believe that the Lord is rightly restoring the body of Christ back to the fear of the Lord.

The fear of the Lord is the ((music playing)) beginning of wisdom. It is our fortress. It is our refuge. He is restoring the standard ((music playing)) for which we cling to. And when I was directed there, I was reminded of an encounter I had myself. It was ((music playing)) 5 years ago and I was getting ready to lead a session with the school of ministry and it was ((music playing)) just a normal day.

And right as we're about to start, I hear this little voice ((music playing)) just say, "Steve, are you trying to protect your name or are you trying to protect my name?" ((music playing)) Here I am, a a a leader in the school of ministry. I'm a, you know, pastor in the church.

And I have ((music playing)) this thing, Steve, are you trying to protect your name or are you trying to protect my name? [snorts] And I ((music playing)) in this moment I I I gotten just felt this overwhelming sense of the presence of God come over me where I couldn't speak, I couldn't say anything, I couldn't think anything else.

But I just become reminded of all these moments where I had suddenly ((music playing)) made choices not consciously but subconsciously where I was trying to protect ((music playing)) my reputation over his reputation. And before we go into this time of communion ((music playing)) together, I feel like the Lord is asking us, are will you please lay your reputation aside and take up my reputation?

[snorts] [snorts] As Dan said, we ((music playing)) don't gather around an earthly man. We gather around the heavenly man. the son ((music playing)) of man. And so in this time when we come into scriptures, I want us to put all of our attention not on our misdoings, not on our wrongdoings, not in our ability, but in his ability.

[snorts] It's not in our performance. It's what he accomplished on the cross. ((music playing)) Isaiah 53:4 says, "Surely he took up our infirmities ((music playing)) and carried our sorrows. Yet [snorts] we considered him ((music playing)) stricken by God, smitten by him, smitten by him. I don't know how to say it. I'm dyslexics and afflicted. I'm smitten by him.

Smitten He took up our infirmities. He carried our sorrows. Verse 5, but he was pierced ((music playing)) for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought ((music playing)) us peace was upon him. And by his wounds, we are healed. [snorts] As we go into this time, I don't want us just to come into ((music playing)) a place of remembrance of yes, he died for the forgiveness of sins, but his broken body took the price so that we could ((music playing)) not just experience the forgiveness of sin, but the full restoration of body, soul, and spirit.

((music playing)) And so if you're hurting today, if you have pain, if you have trauma, if you have any ((music playing)) uh miracle that you're believing for in your own body, this is a time that we get to ((music playing)) feast on the work of Christ. And what I want us to do is I want us to actually grab a Bible.

So if someone in your group can grab a Bible, if you're online, grab your Bible. [snorts] And I want you to read from ((music playing)) Hebrews 10, chapter uh chapter 10 verse 5-10. It's up there on the screen. ((music playing)) And I would love for one of you to just take a moment and to read aloud this passage.

And then I want us to take the bread in our own groups ((music playing)) where we're actually believing for God to come through with healing, with ((music playing)) grace. And so as you partake of the bread, I also want you to move in a time to actually see people experience ((music playing)) the healing power of God.

And so the band's going to play. Go ahead, have someone read that passage. Partake of the body. >> ((music playing)) ((music playing)) [snorts] >> those online. I just want you to read that. Just read over the scriptures. If you don't have a Bible, you can Google ((music playing)) it. Glory. ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> Show us. ((music playing)) >> ((music playing)) >> Thank you, God.

((music playing)) God, right now we just thank you for your broken body. Father, we just declare healing to come in the room. God, I just command anyone that ((music playing)) has pain within their body for pain to leave. God, that anyone has mental infirmities or trauma that those would lift right now.

God, we thank you for the peace of heaven to be upon them right now. Thank you, God. Thank you, God. ((music playing)) Thank you, God. And before we go into taking of the blood, [snorts] I want ((music playing)) to read this passage over you in Hebrews chapter 9 verse 11. When Christ ((music playing)) came as high priest of the good things that are already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, ((music playing)) that is not man-made, that is to say, not a part of this creation.

He ((music playing)) did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves, but he entered the most holy place ((music playing)) once and for all by his own blood. Having obtained eternal redemption, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of the hepher sprinkled ((music playing)) on those who are ceremonial unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean.

How much more then will the ((music playing)) blood of Christ who through the eternal spirit oper offered himself unbllemished to God [music and snorts] cleanse our consciences from the acts that lead to death so that we may serve the living God. It is ((music playing)) for this reason Christ is the mediar mediator of a new covenant that those who are called may receive the promised ((music playing)) eternal inheritance now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

As Dan ((music playing)) said, Romans 8 1 says, "Therefore, there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus." And so as we partake of the blood, ((music playing)) I want you to actually read another passage again in Hebrews 10 19-23. ((music playing)) We'll put it on the screen to read that again. But his blood paid the ((music playing)) ultimate price so that we could be set free from our sin and our shame.

((music playing)) He restores us to original design. and she's just go ahead begin ((music playing)) to read that out loud. Those online read it out loud. ((music playing)) Hallelujah. ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> Father, I thank you just for speaking right now across ((music playing)) the room. God, I thank you that you take away every blemish. >> ((music playing)) >> I want to tell you there's nothing you can do to clean yourself ((music playing)) up.

Jesus is the bath. So, Father, we just thank you right now for your mercy and grace ((music playing)) filling the room. God, we ask for your blood to go forth out across the global church, God, that there would be a reformation and a transformation. that there would be a sealing of a a healing of ((music playing)) souls, of hearts, of bodies.

God, Father, we thank you for a great move of your spirit. Father, we thank you for just unity going forth in the body of Christ. God, we ((music playing)) thank you that you said in John 17 that the world will know who you are because the body ((music playing)) is one just as you are one with Christ.

And so, Father, I thank you that we don't have to be a people that gather ((music playing)) around agreement, but we get to gather around Christ. And we just want to make space ((music playing)) as we close for you to come and encounter the presence and goodness of ((music playing)) God. We're actually going to end with a song in a time of worship.

And so, I want to encourage you right now. If you're feeling like the ((music playing)) Lord is doing something within your heart right now where he's asking you to respond in a way almost like a prophetic act of like God today is a new day. I ((music playing)) want to invite you to come up to the front.

I want to invite you to stand on a your chair if you feel like that. If you need to kneel you can kneel. If you need to lay down ((music playing)) you can lay down. But we want to come together as we close and give thanks and praise ((music playing)) to Jesus.

The work ((music playing)) you did is finished. All of [singing] our sins forgiven. And now we ((music playing)) get to live in the wonder [singing] of the working blood. The cross was ((music playing)) your decision. But death was not the ending. You rose [music and singing] and now we're rising. Oh, the wonder of the working. The work [music and singing] you did is finished.

All of our sins forgiven. [music and singing] And now we get to live. The wonder of the working ((music playing)) blood. The cross was your decision. But death was not the ending. You rose ((music playing)) and now we're rising. Oh, the wonder of the working blood. The work you did is finished. ((music playing)) All of our sins forgiven.

And now ((music playing)) we get to live it. The warmth of the working life. ((music playing)) The cross was your decision, but death was not the ending. You ((music playing)) now where is it? All the wonder of the working blood. All the wonder ((music playing)) of the working blood. All the wonder of the working blood.

((music playing)) Oh, the wonder of the working blood. The ((music playing)) blood. The blood. The blood. All the wonderful blood. Your ((music playing)) love, your love, your love. All the marvelous love ((music playing)) that the redee the blood. The blood. ((music playing)) All the ((music playing)) blood. The blood. All the wonderful blood of Jesus you love. ((music playing)) All the mar sing ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) for and ((music playing)) now we get to live the wonder The cross was your decision, ((music playing)) but that was not the end.

You're ((music playing)) now all the wonder. All the wonder of the working. ((music playing)) All the wonder of the working. >> ((music playing)) >> Heat. Heat. ((music playing)) All the redeemed ((music playing)) sing ((music playing)) the blood. The blood. The blood. Oh, the wonderful blood. The blood. The blood. The blood. Oh, the [singing] wonderful blood. ((music playing)) Your love. Your love. Your love.

Oh, the marvelous love. Let the redeemed sing the song. Praises ((music playing)) belong to the son. For the blood, ((music playing)) the blood, the blood. Oh, the blood. Thank you, Lord. Again, ((music playing)) I love us, but I just love Jesus. I want to read out uh this scripture that ((music playing)) we all just read in this room and it's Hebrews 10 19 ((music playing)) and it says, "Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to ((music playing)) enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, aren't ((music playing)) you thankful, church, that we get to enter in?"

Aren't you thankful, church? We get ((music playing)) to enter in. Hallelujah. It says by a new and living way ((music playing)) which he inaugurated for us through the veil that is his ((music playing)) flesh. And since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us ((music playing)) draw near with sincere hearts and full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed pure with pure water.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without ((music playing)) wavering. For he who promised is faithful. Amen. Amen. ((music playing)) Amen. Well, this is um such a amazing ((music playing)) time that we're in. We just got to take communion and love on each other. And I I believe right now that healing is available.

I believe that the Holy Spirit wants ((music playing)) to touch some people today. And so if we can have everyone stand and then I'm going to invite up the ministry team. The ministry team could just make their ((music playing)) way forward. Thank you, Lord. If you can just hold your spots as the ministry team.

And we're gonna just for a moment sing this song one ((music playing)) more time as they make their way forward. We're going to sing it again in full faith. And ((music playing)) and then after that, I want you guys to if you're wanting prayer this morning, you can make your way forward.

You don't have to work rush out. And we're going to be ((music playing)) ready to pray and receive you. If you responded earlier to the altar call that Steve Moore gave, ((music playing)) you can just make your way over to this banner over here that says start here. And we just ((music playing)) bless you.

We bless you. So let's just go into that one more time. >> The blood, the blood, ((music playing)) the blood, oh [singing] the wonderful blood. Your ((music playing)) love, your love, your love. Oh the marvelous love. Let the redeemed sing [singing] a song. ((music playing)) Praises belong to the son. For the blood, the blood, the [music and singing] blood.

Oh, the Let's sing that one more time. >> Come on, church. >> The blood, [singing] the blood, ((music playing)) the blood. Oh, the wonderful blood. Your love, [music and singing] your love, your love. Oh, the marvelous love that the redeems [singing] in this song. Praises ((music playing)) belong to the sun. [singing] For the blood, the blood, the blood of the wonderful blood. >> Amen.

((music playing)) Amen. Hug somebody next to you and say, "It's only by the blood." Ah, bless you online, church. Bless you. Bless you. If you want to make ((music playing)) your way forward to receive prayer this morning, go ahead and make your way forward and give somebody a hug and tell them have an amazing Sunday.

Thank you, worship team. >> Hello, beautiful global family. Wow, today was beautiful, I think, in so many ways. I think I feel so grateful to Jesus for who he is, what he's paid for, that we got to experience even just communion today as a family. Um, I never want that to get old to me, you know, remembering what he's paid for, what he's given us access to.

He's the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, and my goodness, it's an honor to be in his family, to be his body. Oh, church, I hope that um you were able to participate, that you were able to take communion with us, that you were able just to have a moment with the Lord where he would begin to um just remind you of the beautiful gift that he paid for.

And if you haven't already and you're still waiting to take communion, take communion now. If you're watching back with us, don't feel like you have to wait. Um participate, be a part of the body with us. Steve, thanks so much for leading that time. It felt really important just to remember what he's done, what he's paid for. >> I mean, you know, it it always comes back to that one reality, it's for him and him alone. >> Yeah. >> And if if we really want to see Jesus get his full reward, >> we need to not make it about us, not make it about these things, not make it about our ministry.

It's not about building a ministry. It's about actually ministering to the Lord. And it's through his grace, his power, his forgiveness, his strength, his perfect work that works in us that is able to then work in those around us. And so I just want to encourage you throughout the week of just to actually take time and just meditate on the scriptures about the finished work of Christ that it's not in our ability, it's in his ability.

It's not in our good works, but in his faithful work. And so my prayer for you that this week is that you would encounter the love and power of Christ like never before. That you would be reminded that you were purchased with a a price. I was purchased with a price.

That our King Jesus is worthy of it all. And as Kathy said, uh Cath Kathy Cassie, >> it's okay. I know you know me. Uh, this song's been on repeat pretty much for the whole week for Ruth and I. >> Uh, pretty much any worship song that has about the blood of Jesus has just been on repeat over and over again in our house.

And I'm so thankful that the team just ended with it because it is it's all about his perfect sacrifice at the cross. >> And so we we love you. We're praying for you. Our hearts are with you. uh we're in a place of just uh prayer and clinging to the scriptures more than ever.

And our prayer for you is that you would tangibly experience the grace of our good father [snorts] and so we love you guys so much and we're so glad that you're here. >> Yeah, we'll be praying for you. We see the request in the chat and just know that our team is covering it.

We're praying for you as well. Whether you're looking for healing in your body, whether you're looking for a financial breakthrough, we're just believing that the Lord sees you wherever you are, whatever it is that you're asking for, he's a good dad. And he says to ask and it will be given, to seek and it will be found, and to knock and the door will be opened in Matthew 7.

And so, God, we're just thanking you that your people are able to to come before you with full confidence, knowing that you are a father who hears us. You're a father who listens, and you're a father who responds. And so guys, we're praying with you. We're also knowing that you're you're asking for covering.

And um just know that we see it. He sees it. And we're just partnering our our yes and amen towards you. >> Come on. >> As always, we still have ministry rooms uh after this call. And so the link will be in the chat. If you're looking for more ministry, you're looking for prayer, believing for a miracle, a word from the Lord, you're just looking for his grace and his comfort, we want to pray over you, uh be with you.

Also, if you did give your life to Jesus, uh we have a form that we would love for you to fill fill out. It doesn't take a lot of time, but we want to be able to connect with you, reach out to you and kind of just walk you through what's next.

What does a life look like with Jesus, and we want to be able to connect you to a a local church and and begin fellowshipping with the local church uh that's close to you and to begin disciplehip with them. And so, we love you guys. We're so thankful that you're here.

Uh Gabe uh Valenuela is speaking tonight and so if you're joining us for that, we can't wait to see you there. But we love you and hope you have an amazing week. God bless you guys.
