You >> never know. You never know who. Oh, we love pastor. >> We love him so much. This is Jory Henderson. She's one of our pastors in BSSM first year. And it's such a joy to be with you tonight. Um, wow. We're expectant for what the Lord wants to do.
Many of you um probably streamed with us this morning tonight or tonight. Wow. Tonight is tonight. >> What day is it? >> This morning was such a beautiful time in the presence of God. U we heard from Dan Fairley. We took communion as a church time to pray.
If you haven't had a chance yet, I would go back and stream that. It was such a special time to be together as the body of Christ. >> Yes. Well, tonight, what are we looking forward to tonight, Jory? >> Yeah. Well, we have Gabe Valenuela. He's going to be preaching tonight.
So excited. We also have Emmy Rose and John Fuk and Caleb Jackson. Jack Oh gosh, I can't talk. Caleb Jackson leading us in worship tonight. So, it's going to be such a special time. We always love having Gabe. >> He makes you cry and laugh all at the same time.
So, yeah, it's going to be special. >> Yeah. Awesome. >> Oh, man. So, Dory and I were um talking before we went live tonight and we were just wondering like what were what are you feeling for tonight? Is there anything that you felt like the Lord was highlighting?
And we actually had the exact same passage in the Bible. And so, um, I'm going to ask Jory to read that for you. I want you just to allow yourself to get in a position. Um, you could either get out your Bible and read along with us or you can just receive as the word of God is, um, spoken over you.
But this is what we're anticipating for tonight. >> Yeah. So, I'm reading Ephesians 3 and it's starting in uh, verse 16. I'm reading out of the NIV and it says, "I pray that out of his glorious riches, he may strengthen you with power through his spirit in your inner being so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith."
And I pray that you being rooted and established in love may have power together with all the Lord's holy people to grasp how wide and long and how high and deep is the love of Christ and to know this love that surpasses knowledge that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. >> Come on. >> And I just I you know there's a lot going on right now.
Maybe personally there are things going on in your world as you're watching right now in the church. It's like but Jesus at the center and that we would know his extravagant love for us and his extravagant love for you no matter what you're being faced with even right now personally um or just even in the church right now.
It's that we would grasp how wide and how long and how high and deep is the love of Christ and to know this love that surpasses knowledge. Come on. >> Come on. It's powerful just hearing the word. I was um in pre-ervice prayer and I kept hearing the Lord say that he wanted to pour out his love to his people. >> Yeah. >> And I was like, "Oh, Jesus, you just love your people. >> You love your people and you want nothing more than to pour out unmeasurable love to us.
That you want to fill us with your love. That you want to baptize in your love. That you want to cover us in your love. You want us to um experience >> a love that surpasses knowledge. is just wild to me. >> Um, and I believe that so many of us are going to experience that tonight.
Maybe you're in your living room or in a car or >> maybe you're at a hospital. Whatever it is, I saw people um in like dire situations and you were like, "God, I actually need to know your love tonight." That's right. >> If that's you, wherever you are, I'd love for you just to put out your hands to receive and and I'm just going to um pray. >> But God, we just thank you for the word.
We just thank you that you want more than anything to pour out your love to us. That's why you sent your son Jesus because of love. >> For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son. And so Jesus, we just pray tonight that people near and far, wherever they are, no matter what they're walking through, that they would experience your radical love that that it would surpass anything else they've ever experienced in their love uh in their life, God. and that waves of love would overwhelm them tonight, God, in their in their brains, in their minds, God, in their bodies, in um any any space where they actually need to know or need to experience the love of Jesus.
God, I pray that you would come in so close and be so close to us. >> Yes. >> Yeah. We pray this in Jesus name. >> Yes. Amen. >> I love just the beginning of this verse, too. It says that he may strengthen you with power through his spirit in your inner being.
And I just pray for a friend just a strength like you know he is our strength. The joy of the Lord is our strength. I just pray if you've been feeling under anything that you would feel the joy of the Lord is your strength. That he gives you comfort and peace and that again that you would experience his extravagant love for you as you're watching this as maybe you rewatch this later on that you'd actually just experience this tangible love for each one of you. >> Yeah.

And I just Yeah. whatever need you have in your body, if you're have something that you're like contending for.
Actually, when she was saying, I feel like there are dire situations and people just in a desperate place. Um, I I pray right now that you be met with his love, but you'd be met with heal just his healing touch over your body. I actually felt like there was pressure in the middle to lower back.
And so, if you have any sort of back pain, God, we just thank you right now that you're healing back pain and that all pressure be lifted off. if it's chronic pressure, whatever it is, God, we just pray right now complete healing over backs in Jesus name. Thank you, Father.
Thank you, Jesus. And I saw um a request for healing of the gums, healing for um a uterus. And God, we just thank you that you would come and that you would touch bodies, whatever your need is. Whether you're watching this late and you're thinking, "Oh my gosh, I wish I could have put that in the chat.
I wish they could have prayed for me." God, we just we just pray right now. We know that um you you move outside of time. Like I I know people who have watched these streams back and in the stream in the in the playback their bodies have been healed.
And so God, we just thank you that um you would send the word that there were so many times that a handkerchief was sent. Someone was healed by the shadow um of of of Paul. No, Peter. Of Peter, right? Wasn't it Peter with the shadow? >> Yes. >> And and the sent word of God.
So God, we just thank you that you are you are here and that you are near. God, we just speak healing in life and anyone who's having uh teeth issues, any gum issues, anything where there's been a a sensitivity even um where it's almost like a bacteria infection, anything like that, we just speak healing in Jesus name, God. in any places um in um the uterus or any areas where there's been pain.
God, we just we just um speak against any pain and we just release your life in Jesus name. >> Yes. Thank you, God. >> Thank you, Jesus. And go ahead. >> Yeah. We just pray for anyone dealing with um cold and flu issues. Um specifically, there was someone that needed uh healing for just their sore throat.
God, we just pray your healing bomb. You to just coat throats and um we just just any flu symptoms, any cold symptoms, God, that they would just go right now in Jesus' name. They'd feel just a flooding of your love and your healing right now. Just touching their bodies, touching their throats, touching their eyes, touching their ears right now in Jesus name.
Thank you. >> Thank you, God. And guys, we just encourage you, test out your bodies. Notice now before we even go into worship if the Lord has already healed you. If he has, go ahead and let us know. We'd love to celebrate what God is doing. Um and oftentimes if we see one person healed, it's a testimony available for another um brother or sister in the Lord that God wants to do that again.
So anyways, um we love you guys so much. We're about to go into worship in just a few minutes. Test out your bodies. Um but just get ready to receive the love of the father. It's going to be a beautiful night to come into his presence to worship together and experience the love of the father. >> Yeah.

Ready for a good night. There's a great story out of second Samuel. I just felt to open up with and it's at the end of 2 Samuel and it's when King David in his nation there is a plague and he wants to see the plague stopped. Who who doesn't like plagues? >> Yeah, I don't like plagues.
Plagues are not from the Lord. And King David needs to get to a to purchase a threshing floor and some oxen to make a sacrifice to the Lord. And this is how the story goes. David went up according to the word of the Lord just as the Lord had commanded.
And Aruna looked down and saw the king and his servant crossing over towards him. And Aruna went out and bowed his face to the ground before the king. And then Aruna said, "Why has my lord the king come to his servant?" And David said, "To buy the threshing floor from you in order to build an altar to the Lord that the plague may be held back from the people."
Aruna said to David, "Let my lord the king take the offer take and offer up what is good in his sight. Look, the oxen for the burnt offerings, the threshing sledges, and the yolks of the oxen for the wood. Everything, O king, Aruna gives to the king. And Aruna said to the king, "May the Lord your God accept you."
That's a pretty generous offer. Yeah. But here's what David says. Verse 24. However, the king said to Aruna, "No, but I will surely buy it from you for a price, for I will not offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God, which cost me nothing." So, David bought the threshing floor and the oxen and the 50 shekels of sil for 50 shekels of silver.
And David built the altar there. And then the Lord was moved by the prayer for the land and the plague was held back from Israel. Everybody say this with me. I >> I >> will not give to the Lord >> to the Lord >> that which costs me nothing. >> that which cost me nothing. >> Tonight I believe >> Well, I'll just finish now.
You're so good. Tonight, I believe there's a spirit of sacrifice. >> There is a spirit of sacrifice in the room where we say to the father, "God, I'm going to give you even more than you expect. >> I'm not going to give you a little bit. I'm going to give you my all."
And as we sacrifice to the Lord, I want to tell you something. The Lord is moved. The Lord is moved over marriages tonight. The Lord is moved over individuals tonight. The Lord loves your sacrifice. So, Father, tonight we thank you for Jesus Christ, the ultimate sacrifice, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, who gave his life for us.
But Jesus, we thank you. You called us to follow you and to be ones who give everything to you, who sacrifice to God. We thank you, Father, for a spirit that is beautiful in the room. A spirit that is generous in the room, a spirit that gives more than you expect tonight in Jesus name.

Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice. Who is worthy to break the seals and to open the scroll? But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it.
I wept and I wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. see the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David. He has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.
And I pause right there for just a second. We expect the lion to show up. We expect Alan to stride onto the scene. Can you see his mane flowing? We expect to hear his roar that can break the cedars of Lebanon. But that's not what happens. Then I saw a lamb looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders.
The lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent into all the earth. He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne. And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the 24 elders fell down before the lamb.
Each one had a harp, and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God's people. And they sang a new song, saying, and would you repeat the song after me? You are worthy. >> You are worthy >> to take the scroll. >> To take the scroll >> and to open its seals. >> Because you were slain. >> Because you were slain. >> And with your blood. >> With your blood. >> You purchased for God. >> You purchased for God.

We're going to we're going to turn to communion right now as we worship the lamb who was slain, the one who is seated on the throne. And if you don't have the elements, please just lift your hand up and the ushers will be happy to help you out and provide that for you.
If you don't have the elements, just raise your hand and the ushers will help you out. Why don't we just Well, you've all se sat down. All right, we'll do that. We'll do it that way then. That works, too. I brought uh I brought for communion some matzah.
This is the the bread that uh Jewish families will use when they celebrate the Passover. And on many of these boxes, again, I can't pronounce Hebrew, but it's going to say cases le pesak, which means kosher for Passover, which means a couple of things. It means a rabbi had to bless it in some way and perform whatever ceremony or ritual is required.
But there's some other requirements that are I want you to see. And remember, we're focused upon the blood, the bread, right? which is his body. And so there's four requirements for this piece of bread to be to be kosher, to be acceptable for the Passover. The first is that it has to be unleavened.
Oftenimes, not always, but often in the Bible, leaven represents sin. And in this case, that's what it means. That this can have no yeast in it, no leaven whatsoever. It's got to be a completely pure piece of of bread. And I don't know if you can see it.
I'm trying to hold it up to the light. Can you see that it has holes in it? It has to be pierced. It has to be pierced through or it's not acceptable. And so there's holes go going through all of this. And this is going to be tough to see, but it also has to be scored with a knife.
It has to have stripes on it from a knife. And finally, if you can see all around the edges, and you can see in the middle, it's blistered and beaten, isn't it? It's blistered and bruised. Friends, at the I I I'm not a a Jewish specialist. I've just been told this, but one part of the sedover seder, which is a very long uh uh meal for Passover, hours it takes to do it, right?
But at one part, I believe the dad of the house will take three pieces of this matzah and he'll stack them one on top of the other, put them in a like a cloth or a napkin or something. And then he'll take out the middle one and he'll break it and go hide it someplace in the house for the children to find later.
The bread that's unleavened, that's been pierced, that's been beaten and bruised, and by whose stripes we are then healed. >> Yeah. I'd like you to take uh the elements and could you maybe gather together with three or four folks and let's do this together. What what I'd love you to do, I'd love for you to just genuinely thank the Lord Jesus for all he's done for you and all he's given to you.
I was reading this week CS Lewis classic and he reminded me everything I have is a gift from God. everything. I I I just can't take credit for any of it. >> And and I need to be thankful for that that he put that into my life and that was his goodness and his kindness to me.
And so in your groups of three or four, would you just pray out loud prayers of thankfulness for what God has given you and of course for what he has done for you on the cross. And then in a moment uh we'll partake together. All right, let me pray and then we'll partake together.
Lord Jesus, there are signs and symbols all around us of your presence, of your goodness, of your kindness. of your grace. All All we need to do, Lord, is go out on a dark night and look up and we stand in awe that our creator made all of this.
But Jesus, in this moment, we think back to that awful, terrible cross, that you chose to go there, that we could become your children, that we could become sons and daughters of God like you had planned all along. And so Jesus, with hearts full of gratitude, we say, "Thank you.
Thank you. Thank you, Jesus." Let's partake together. So, you know, the the last supper that Jesus participated in with the disciples was the meal, the Passover meal that took place before the children of Israel left Egypt so long ago. And every year this would be celebrated. And the children of Israel were supposed to take one lamb per family and they were supposed to slaughter that lamb and then eat everything.
And then they were supposed to mark the doorposts. You guys remember this story? Yeah. Supposed to mark the doorposts and that would protect their entire family from this plague of death that was coming. I again I'm no Hebrew scholar. I I've just been told this. But, you know, when I used to think when I was younger and a kid and all the story books, I I just got somebody splashing blood all over the place, you know, maybe on the door frames all over the place.
But a Messianic Jewish friend said when he reads it, and he can read Hebrew, he said that's not quite how it sounds to him because they're supposed to take this branch and dip it into this blood. And they were supposed to strike the lentil, which is over top of the door.
They're supposed to strike the lentil once and it gave the impression you were supposed to strike it right in the middle and let that blood drip down the middle of the door. And then it says you're supposed to strike the muzzot. Now you all know what that is.
Obviously, I I if you go to a Hebrew home, a Jewish home, on on the right hand side of the doorpost, there's going to be this little metal thing with some with some scriptures in it. It's called a muza. And and good Orthodox Jews, they'll touch it. They might even kiss it.
It it signifies this is a Jewish home based on the verses in Deuteronomy. You should have these on your doorpost, right? But it doesn't say to strike the mazuza, which is singular. You all know that you're spo It says to strike the muzz, which is plural. Well, there's not two.
There's only one. But if there were a second, it'd be right around eye level on the other side of the door. And so with that branch dipped in the blood, strike the lentil once and the blood comes dripping down. strike the muzzot once forming the shape of a cross which protects all the children of Israel from death.
And that is what we celebrate every time we come to this table is we celebrate the king who has rescued us forever from death. So gather in your groups one more time. Lean into this king and let us remember by his stripes you are healed. And so maybe somebody in your group needs prayer for healing.
Please take this moment to lean into this and ask the Lord Jesus to touch them right now. There we go. Let me pray and then we'll partake together. Lord Jesus, the King, the King who is present with us tonight. We thank you for the blood that cleanses us, that purifies us.
Jesus, it's your blood that allowed us this evening to come into the very throne room of heaven and give you worship and glory and praise. It's your blood that that makes us righteous. It's nothing that we've done. It's everything you've done for us. And so once again, King Jesus, we say thank you.
And we ask God that you would purify us from any unrighteousness. Lord, I pray Lord that as people around this room partake of this cup in just a moment that bodies would be healed as the precious blood of Jesus flows through our bodies. and we give you all thanks and all praise in Jesus name.

It's not somewhere random, but it's an extension of this house and what you are going to impart into that country, which obviously I love and I know that what you're going to bring into a country that's been known for being a forerunner in the music industry, you're going to bring it to a new level, to bring a new flavor into this country and start to spearhead something new that the Lord wants to do in Australia.
It is known as the Great Southland of the Holy Spirit. And so we're believing that there's going to be a move of the Holy Spirit there for sure. >> All right. >> That is so good. If you were going somewhere random, that's okay. But going it's going random is good.
Going Bethl is goodter. So send your hands. We just want to bless. We're so thankful for you for your life. The way you've led us. You've inspired us. We're all stronger because of your standard, your commitment, your devotion. Father, we thank you for our brother in Christ, our family member that we get to send into an extraordinary ministry in Sydney, Australia, in that great nation, Southland of the Holy Spirit.
We thank you for what you've done there. We thank you for what you're about to do. But I pray that there would be such a spirit of breakthrough upon this man that as he leads, as he writes, as he decrees, declares, as he prays, as he interceds, that there would be a gift released over a nation.
I ask this in Jesus name that there would be deliverance, healing, all the things that happen in specific ministry times would actually flow through soul, through this man. I ask for the honor of the name Jesus. Yeah. John, I just see as Bill's praying for you, there is a a big hat being placed on your head and it has propellers that take take you up.
And I feel like you're you're about to lead a new breed of worshippers in Australia that are taken up. And I see the hat being multiplied onto other heads and other heads of worshippers all across the great south land, all across that place. Taken up into heaven, taking people up into heaven with them.

There's a couple. Yay. So glad you're with us. So glad you're with us, sir. In the in the uh what do you call it? A plaid shirt, stripey checkered shirt. Yeah. I felt like during worship, I saw the you know when they collected the loaves and fishes that were left over, the baskets that were left over.
I feel like you've come with the attitude, I'm going to just collect what I can from here. Even if it's the leftovers, I don't care. I'm going to take it. And what I feel like the Lord is saying is that as you take that basket and you go back home, it is the the multiplication is going to happen in your house.
So whatever you're coming for, whatever you're picking up is going to be multiplied back in your home wherever you wherever you're from. So bless you to take that that multiplication whether it's the miracles, the finances, whatever it is that you're after, the encounters, let it be multiplied in your home. >> Amen.

As Lauren said this morning, we feel like we just got break after break at this time. So, but it's great. Good for kids. On February 25th, can you say February 25? We have our annual general business meeting. And this is a really important meeting we have every year for our members.
So, if you are a member of Bethl Church, uh we would really love you to be at this meeting. If you're not a member, you're welcome to join. You just can't vote. This is a voting meeting. It's an important business meeting. So, please come February 25 at 6:30.
It's in here. Uh and you can check in from 6:00 p.m. We do need a lot of you to hit quorum, so make sure you put that in your calendar. All right. Last week, we uh shared with you a new process that we have in place for people who are experiencing or have experienced abuse of any kind, whether that's in the local church or online church.
And we just want to make sure that you're aware of that that if if that's if you have experienced that reports can be made a couple of ways, either by phone or by form. And all of these reports get sent to a a a secure third party so that Bethl can be accountable for for those reports.
So we just want to make sure that you're aware of that. Uh you can find any information on our safe church at bethl.com/safeurch. So make sure you're aware of that. Last one on Tuesday night. This Tuesday, we in light of what we've been talking about the last couple of weeks, we just thought it was important for us to have some family time.

We're going to take up offering together. maybe um just something I was thinking about uh in worship that I I want us to partner with as we we give our tithe today is that one of the most incredible parts of God's nature is that he's a rewarder. Uh he loves to reward.
And in the story of the widow's might in John in Mark 12, it says that Jesus purposefully sat across from the offering box to watch as people put in their offerings. You know, sometimes I interpret that like, oh, God's going to punish me if I don't do it right.
But when I view God through clearly as a rewarder, this overwhelming joy comes to me when I partner with him in my finances. because I know he's looking to reward me. In the the the three people who stewarded talents, the only person who did not steward well was the person who saw God through the lens of a punisher.
And so as we partner with today, I want you to partner with the joy of the Lord that he is looking not to punish but to reward. Amen. So, why don't you hold your finances, whether it's your wallet, maybe your neighbor's wallet, your phone, and uh we're going to read offering reading number one.
As we receive today's offering, we are believing the Lord for jobs and better jobs, raises and bonuses, benefits, sales and commissions, favorable settlements, estates and inheritances, interests and income, rebates and returns, checks in the mail, gifts and surprises, finding money, debts paid off, expenses decreased, blessing and increase.
Thank you, Lord, for meeting all of my financial needs that I may have more than enough to give into the kingdom of God and promote the gospel of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Uh we have a QR code to text to give uh online. Also, our ushers are passing around the buckets.

Yeah, thank you. That's a requirement if you're up here. I brought my Bible. Um I put all my scriptures on my computer. I just need you to know that cuz um cuz I'm getting a little older and uh I have to take these off every time and we're going to go through a decent amount of scripture and I didn't want to go off on off on off on and I'm stubborn and so bifocals are not happening to me.
They just they're not going to happen. I'm just going to let you know that right now. prayer, healing, no healing, bifocals are not the the will of God for my life. So, I'm just dealing with it and this is this is it. This is what you get. So, um is that all right? >> All right.
We're uh we're going to chat a bit today. I'm I'm going to uh do maybe just a little bit different from me uh today. Um I'm just going to tell you kind of um just the process the Lord has me in personally. Um, I don't typically I don't typically do that.
Um, but I felt like I was supposed to do that today and and maybe it may help a few people. Um, if that's not if I'm not right now where you're at, you have two options. Take notes and save it. You will be there eventually. It's a long life.
You'll be there eventually. Uh, or um or disregard and those those that's that's really up to you, but it's in the Bible. So, you know, that's up to you how you manage that. Um, so is that okay if we do that tonight >> a little bit. Um, before before we get into it, uh, again, I don't typically do this, but I don't know if my grandmother is watching or not.
She's probably not watching, but I'm going to show her this later. Um, so make me sound good. Uh, she had her birthday uh yesterday. Yeah. Yeah. My my my nana, she's uh she's 101 years old. Yeah. Yeah. So, she hears great. So, she knows they're clap. You're clapping for her.
It's awesome. She's so shout out shout out to my grandmother. Uh, she's she's special. She is she is special. Um, I I got lots of stories, but um my grandfather when I was younger, um my grandfather's tough tough guy, so he had a little something on his hand and I was like, "What's that?"
And he's jokingly he's like, "Oh, that's that's your nana." And I said, "Oh, okay." And I didn't I didn't think about it till years went by and someone in the family told me a story and I'm going to share the story with you and it's a true true story.
Uh doesn't pertain a lot to what we're going to do tonight, but it's it's a good opener. So, we could do with that. Is that all right? Is that all right? That clock's counting down. It's going to be a long It's 30. It's going to be a long story.
No, it won't be that long. Um, my I heard around the way that that uh when my grandparents I don't know how long they were married for a while that my grandmother had a moment uh where she tried to shoot my grandfather. Yeah, it's just true. This is true.
And I thought that can't that cannot be true. It can't be. My grandmother my grandmother's about 4 foot something. She doesn't you know she doesn't talk a lot. Um, I did get I I did get whooped when I was a kid by my grandmother. So, I know it's in there.
Do you know what I mean? I know it's in there. But, um, so one day I told my grandmother, I said, "Uh, Nana, is it is it true that you tried to shoot my Tata Dusty? Is this true?" And she said, "Miko, Miko, that was a long time ago, Miko."
And I said, "Did you act you you tried to shoot him?" And this is a This is This is a direct quote, "Mikong, that day he made me a little mad, Mikon." Yeah. Now, I never asked what what she tried to shoot him for. It's not something you ask in my my family.
You just go, "Okay, didn't work. Praise the Lord." Um, but she she's 101 yesterday. Uh, so I pray for me personally, Lord, give me her longevity and and not her temper. So that's to be honest, she's uh she's built different. She's a she's a pretty she's pretty tough tough lady.
Um and uh I will segue this. Watch this transition. Some of you will be impressed. Um I I realize that um there's there's a we're all uniquely built, right, by the Lord. Yes, >> we we all agree. So So the Lord put unique gifts and all those things, but he he built us in a unique way.
And um I'm I'm realizing more and more that um I'm not built like other people. I want to be. You ever have that moment like, "Oh, I wish I wish that I was different. Maybe this is just me being real honest, right? Is that okay? Can we be honest?
Because none of you think that way. >> But um we're all built a little different. My I've shared this story maybe a few times that my son uh he's he's uh 20 now and he's getting married. Praise the Lord. Awesome. Yeah. Super pumped. Um getting married. Uh he played baseball all through growing up and he played baseball in high school and um he was a decently good baseball player.
Um, you know, he didn't have the highest batting average on the team. He didn't, you know, he didn't throw the hardest on the team, but he did do one thing better than every other kid I've ever seen play ever. Is uh he got hit by the ball more than any kid I've ever seen.
Now, some of you laugh, but if you but if you know baseball, that's not a bad thing. His on base percentage is insane, right? So, uh, in high school, he played, uh, I don't know how many games. They don't play a ton of games in high school. It's high school baseball.
Um, so they might have, you know, gosh, 15 or so games, I think, for the year. And, um, he was hit 32 times. Yeah. Yeah. Hit by the pitch. 32 times. Build different. I told him one day, I said, "Hey, you know, you could, should you think about it, move out of the way. like you don't have to like you don't have to do that.
You know what I mean? There's other options when you're in the box besides get hit. And he looked at me and said, "Dad, they don't throw hard enough for me to move yet." >> Yeah. Yeah. I really got Except I pay the hospital bill for him. And I'm like, "But listen, move."
Uh my son who's here, he's he's uh 15 now. when he was younger, he played uh little little league baseball and uh he was at the age like I don't know seven or eight where kids start throwing now. Kids are pitching to you and he he I overheard a conversation with him in the living room with uh Diego, my older son who plays baseball.
And uh Cruz younger said, "Does it hurt?" And Diego said, "What? What hurt?" And he goes, "Well, if they throw the ball at me, well, when one do you think I'm gonna get I'm gonna get hit." And Diego said, "Yeah, they're they're eight and nine year olds. They can't throw straight.
You're going to get hit." Then Diego and then Cruz said, "Is it is it going to hurt?" And uh Diego said, "Yes, absolutely." And uh Cruz bravely played one more season of baseball and then he played soccer after that. um you know so uh he didn't like getting hit as much.
And so let me just let me put this into perspective as best as best I can. I do not enjoy being hit. I'm learning this about myself. Is this is this okay to tell you? >> I don't really enjoy it. Um when I was a kid, uh I was into like blues and jazz for just a hot minute and there was an old uh old guy named Howland Wolf.
You never heard of Howland Wolf? Now, I'm not recommending the songs. I don't I don't remember the song, but I remember a m a little part of the song and Howland Wolf had this like deep voice and just be don't make fun. Listen, in the 60s and uh and he had this song that said uh and I would I would I would imitate him, but it would sound horrible.
Um well, the song said uh I'm built for comfort. I'm not built for speed. And I thought I like that song. to be honest. So, I relate to that song. Do you know what I'm saying? So, um I realize I I like I like a bit of I like a bit of non- turmoil.
Can I say that in my life? I really enjoy that. It makes me happy. I I want that to be my whole life forever, for the rest of my life until I die. If I could go through life and just be at perfect peace and then meet Jesus. this is what I want in life.
And then I read my Bible to be honest. And I'm not trying to be humor. I I I am just being honest. And and then I read that and um and here's what I'm here's what I'm finding out for me is um the moments of challenge for me and and these these last few weeks for me has have been have been a challenge.
And and again, we're we're we're in a unique a unique thing. And I think it's uh people are calling from all over, right? for me personally and they're like you'll get through it and I'm like well I know the the world spins and time comes and I get it like I I do get that and I realize different people are in unique places and and and uh you know but where I where I am is I am I'm learning to find truth and really figure out okay Lord what are you saying what are you doing there's there's always there's always going to be opinions and if I'm not careful Um, I will just I will just dig myself a hole and get in it and then cover myself up and stay in that hole for as long as it takes.
And uh, couple Sundays ago when we uh, Dan and Chris and and Bill were up here, I remember being in my bed on sat, you guys will laugh at this, but this is a truth for me. I was in my bed on Saturday knowing what was coming, knowing that I was going to be I was going to be in a chair.
I wasn't going to be it, but I was going to be sitting there. And I know that we're a house of healing. Like, I know that, but I was trying to find the flu. I just need you to know that. This is the honest truth. I was in my bed.
I I hear this is when it got bad. And I was in my bed and I went, "Is it do I have a tickle? Everybody around me is sick and I could not find the flu to save my life. The Lord was like, "Nope, you're healthy. You're healthy.
You're going to church. You're healthy." I was I was like, "Lord, I've never prayed for sickness ever. I don't think that's legal, you know, but I I legit I was trying to find it." And I'm learning about me that, man, the Lord is the Lord is actually having to work some stuff out in me. and and if he's working stuff out in you also join me in that process.
But I realize that I I got to find truth because uh opinions differ, opinions change. It's no no matter no matter what. And then um you know it is a it is a challenging place. So for me and this is again I'm going to say stuff that that most everyone knows tonight um but I hope it reaffirms a few things.
The truth is truth is always found in his word. >> Always. So we open scripture and we say, "Lord, what are you saying?" And um and in this particular place, I I I people are like, "Well, what's what what are what are you doing?" Or they say, "How are you doing?"
And I go, "Fine." Which is a true answer. Fine. Are you good? I don't know. Are you bad? No. How are you? Fine. Fine. Sometimes I just don't know. And then I read scripture and I go, "Lord, I don't know what I'm doing. I sometimes don't know where I'm going.
Idaho looks amazing, to be honest." Yeah. People from Idaho. Yeah. Jesus loves it. Here's here's what I know. I know Psalms 119. He is a lamp unto my feet. >> He is a He is a light unto my path. >> I don't know, but he does. >> He does.
And sometimes the best thing I can do is be still, know that he is the Lord, and wait for him to light up the next step. I don't know where I'm going. I don't have to. >> He does. Now, let me just be really clear. He is working this out in me. >> So, I'm not an expert.
I'm working through this the way Rich is working through his Hebrew scholarship. You know, same similar. >> Yeah. Slowly working through that. But I but I'm working in it. And we have to actually allow the Lord to work in us. This is this is where for me where he has me that he has me in a place that um I'm I'm not moving fast sometimes on purpose because he is working in us.
He is he is Hebrews 4:12. For the word of God is living and active. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, both joint and marorrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. I am letting him do something in me.
What is he doing? I do not know. Do I like it? I don't think I do, but I will like the outcome >> of what happened. >> And here's what I wish. I wish it was that he was working in me, that the scalpel of the Lord would just touch those places that just needed it.
And he would proficiently and expertly just dissect those little spots. Just doesn't say that. The very least I go, you know, we're Northern California, so I carry one of these, right? The very least I'm like, a knife, you know, but he's like, "No, no, a sword. You get the sword.
This is this is what he's doing." Not not not just gentle listen joint the sword stabbing into the center of your soul. Yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah. Some of you are like and then I talk to people and they're like bring it on Lord. And I'm like what is wrong with you?
This is this is how I feel. And again, some people are built different. >> Some people are like, I'll take I'll take all I can get. And I'm like, Lord, please be gentle. Just be gentle. >> But do your work in me. >> Sometimes the worst thing we can do is to hurry past what he's doing.
Yes. >> The best thing we can do is to go, okay, Lord, you're doing something. What are you doing? I don't know. >> But you are doing something. I can feel you at work in me. And I will be here in this spot with you until you light up that next step.
He is at work in you. I I realized that these portions of scripture that we say, "Oh, they mean they mean deep things. When I am weak, then I am strong." That sounds awesome when you're strong. It does. Yes. But when you're weak, it's um it's often tough. when you're weak. >> Wow. >> In second Corinthians, because of this extraordinary greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me, to keep me from exalting myself.
Now, let me just be really clear. I'm not saying every challenge that we have is from a messenger of Satan. Sometimes it's a it's you did it right. But God can work all of those things out for good. >> And here is true. I think when we have unique difficulties, unique challenges, for me, what it what it does is not only does it kind of highlight weakness, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it it brings me back to a place of um not as big as I thought I was, but I'm not as strong as I thought I was.
I didn't have it the way I thought I have it. Paul says, "Concerning this, I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might leave me." And after three times, he got his answer. And he said to me, "My grace is is sufficient for you. For power is perfected in weakness.
Most gladly, therefore, I'd rather boast about my weakness so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Uh the amplified, which I I like, where it says uh my grace is sufficient for you. It says this, "My loving kindness, my mercy are more than enough, always available regardless of the situation."
Always a available. Therefore, I delight in weakness and insults and distress and persecutions and difficulties behalf of Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong. That is almost always much easier to read than it is to actually live out. But weakness is weakness is valuable. There's power in weakness.
There's power in in understanding that. There's a power in embracing vulnerability with the Lord. And and and what we get out of that is we get to a place where his grace is actually sufficient. You know why it says his grace is sufficient? Because you are going to need it.
You are going to encounter things that you're going to need his grace. You're going to go through things and you're going to go, "I can't do it." And the Lord's going to say, "You can. Why? My grace is sufficient for you." You guys okay? >> Yeah. >> I know you're very quiet now.
I can be funnier if you want, but I really can't be. I don't try to be. It's just what it is. But there is power in that. And I I am I am just to be to, you know, honest like I'm I'm really working through that. I'm trying to learn that and go, Lord, I don't feel like I have it.
You know, again, I I I want to give the very best of what I have all the time. But here's the reality, right? Even even just recently. Hey, you're up on Sunday. Praise the Lord. You excited? No. What are you going to share? I don't know. You got it.
I don't think so. This is this is it, right? How are you doing? I'm not built for this. You all right? I want to go home. Do you know what I mean? Like, this is just me being honest, right? So, yeah. And then and then you go, but his grace is sufficient. >> And I either believe that and I show up in places or I don't.
I either embrace weakness >> and I allow his grace >> to flow or I think I have to be somebody that I'm not. I may get in trouble. I would I would hope that you would allow his grace to flow through you. But I'll be honest, this is I'm just giving you a few things.
Is that all right? I know it's might be a little hodgepodgey, but um in these last just few weeks and I I realize this too about me like almost anytime I go through a challenge, what what I actually focus on really really matters. >> What I look at actually >> really matters.
What I hear really matters. And so I've been working to make sure that what I see and what I hear are are from the Lord. Um, it says a a few times in scripture, and we actually said it uh tonight, um, that I have to actually raise my eyes.
Look up. It's actually important that we look up. Here's here's what I'm learning about me. If I'm not careful, I sit in moments of of challenge or tur turmoil and my head's down and I go, "Poor me." And what's going on? And then all of a sudden it gets worse and then I'm spiraling down a hill of despair, right?
And and and then it gets real bad. And then I'm in a fetal position on my bed. No, I'm just kid. It's not It's not But maybe. But maybe. But what what I'm what I need to do and what I'm learning to do is to look up Psalms uh 123.
I love this is titled Prayer for the Lord's help. I like I like reading Psalms because David feels sometimes like I feel to you. You I have raised my eyes. You who are enthroned in the heavens. Sometimes the best thing you can do is yes, look to him, but focus not on yourself.
Focus on what he's doing. >> And if you can't find it, refocus. I'm reminded of uh Elisha who sent his servant out to look for the the cloud six times. I can't find it. Keep looking. I don't know what he's doing. Look again. >> I don't I don't see him showing up.
One more time. Go out and look again. He will show up for you. And on the seventh time, what do I see? I see a cloud the size of a man's hand. We got it. We got it. For me, it's it's that looking is found in in in three places.
For me, if I can if I can say that, it's it's me keeping worship at the forefront of my heart. It's keeping the word at the forefront of my heart. And it's keeping uh prayer and the testimony at the forefront of my of my heart that when I look for him, I find him in those places. >> That's where I find him. the testimony uh for me but also for us I think is really really important otherwise we get too focused here and not focused on what he's doing that God is doing amazing things all over >> but he's doing amazing things here but he's doing amazing things all over the earth god is showing up >> if we're listen this be just for me and I'll just throw it out there if we're not careful we become the center of our own universe >> and we don't realize, oh, the Lord is actually really big. >> He really does have it under control. >> He really does.
And he's doing amazing things all over. Can I Can I just share a testimony? Is that okay? >> We're going to share a testimony. This was this I found amazing. We've had in the last uh in the last week, we've had uh uh some of our Bethl churches here uh from all over the world.
Um, and uh, come on up, Andy. Andy's been here. >> Andy, >> grab one of those microphones. This is uh, this is Andy Pigot. Come on up here. Andy Pigot is from uh, Bethl in in in uh, New Zealand. >> Yeah. Yeah. New Zealand. Now, listen. All right.
Good. So, so listen. I don't Yeah. Yeah. Thank you. just for the just for the screen. Yeah. Yeah. So, if you did you don't know this, but uh we go we go back a little bit. So, uh I was a I was uh my first ministry vocational role.
I did three years as a youth pastor. Yeah, I should have learned this lesson then. I'm still learning. Three years youth pastor under Banning Leapure. >> Praise the Lord. Uh, and then I went to Weaverville for three years and did three years uh, under Steve Ban >> uh, as a youth pastor. >> Wow. >> Yeah.
Steve would Steve would often come in the office and he bust through my door and said, "What Goliath are you running after today?" And I went, "I I don't know. I I have not I don't know what Goliath I'm running, Steve. I'm just trying to get work done."
You know, and three years of that. Then I came back. I came back to reading and uh I was a pastor in first year school of ministry and uh my first year ever you were there, >> right? >> Yeah. >> Do you remember that? >> Yeah. >> Okay, good.
I just making sure I didn't get it wrong. Uh and then I did a few years with us and now now you're a pastor in New Zealand. Now this is your this is your moment. You pick up this thing. Yeah, there you go. You're just I'm hanging here.
You know what I'm saying? You got to help me a little bit. >> It was an honor to be in his first year. And he's right. God has made people unique and different. And so I get uncomfortable when things are comfortable. Yeah. He is uh opposite of me.
I just want to let you know that. So the Lord put him and his wife in my group and I and we became decently good friends. And I thought I need him in my life. Um, I don't I don't want to do anything that he wants to do ever.
You know what I mean? You know those people who are like, "We're gonna go on the street and talk to everybody about Jesus." And I'm like, "Uh, can we can we sit and just pray and see who comes to us?" You know what I mean? Let's just see who the Lord brings our way.
You know, that's that's more my that's more my style personally. Uh, your style is a little bit different >> than mine. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Go ahead. So I I go into uh meeting houses to the indigenous people of New Zealand and I will say which means my mountain is titangi.
I found out the naming of that mountain means the edge of heaven. So, I actually think that something of my identity feels safe and comfortable when I'm on the edge and uh different to you, Gabe. However, I am so glad I have you in my life. >> Thank Thank you. >> Would you like me to share a testimony? >> I mean, I they did bring you up here for that. >> Okay. >> We could just have a chat.
You want to have a chat? We could just chat in front of everybody, but no, but the testimony would be good, I think. >> Okay. >> Yeah. So um from Bethl, New Zealand, we're in a city called Fangare. It's 2 hours north of Oakland. Our leaders, we said, you know what?
Let's pray. Let's set a goal and let's pray. We'll prayer walk or prayer drive over every single street of our city. Let's let's get the whole city covered in prayer. And so we began to do that. And um one of the areas that just was saturated in prayer.
Hundreds and h literally hundreds of prayer walks was the one of the darkest places in our city. It's run by gangs. And um but how many know prayer works >> and something happens in the heavens. Something shifts. And I think the last three times that I've been there, just to coordinate the prayer walks before we break off, we haven't been able to get away from the actual parking lot.
People have come from the community to us and the spirit of God has just um absolutely walloped people in the community anyway. And so it's got to this point where um it's really hard. I I I can hardly walk 50 yards without someone from the community wanting to talk to me, ask me all about Jesus.
So, they know what we're doing. They want to find out about Jesus. Things are changing, shifting in the atmosphere. This is a drug uh neighborhood. And anyway, one day I'm I'm talking with people about Jesus and I hear a raging man like demonized. I'm I'm like, "What is going on?"
I hear him swearing and I'm thinking to myself, "Well, do I call 111, which is 911 in New Zealand?" And um anyway, I just sort of ignore it and cuz it's kind of normal. And I I I'm talking to some people and I see this man raging and he's coming closer.
In his hands are two crutches. I think these are crutches. But um what I see as he comes closer is he's actually sorn the crutches off into two swords kind of like swords and he's got the crutches and he's using these as weapons and he comes up and he's bristling in like a demonic rage and says I am here to bring down the boop boop and he's swearing and I'm bringing down the wrath of God on these sinners in this place.
And and so I'm thinking to myself with these crutches with that are weapons right in front of me. I'm thinking I'm in a dangerous situation. I'm with a young evangelist. I'm thinking, "Don't you say anything, man." And um anyway, he just switches, gives me a hug, says, "I love you."
Like walks away. I start praying for him. I figure, "Well, he's got some passion. He's got some passion." and start praying for him. The next week I go to his house and I knock on his back door and he answers the back door and he says, "Hey Andy, you know what your call is?"
And I say, "Well, tell me." And he says, "Your call is to bring the love of God into this community, this raging guy." And I'm like, "Wow, amen." And then he says, "And I know what my call is." And then he's bristles with rage again, starts, you know, demonic rage.
It's to bring the wroth down on these sinners, the wroth of God. And he starts swearing and he's all angry. And then he starts he starts talking about and if anyone tries to stop him, even the government, I'm ready. He opens up his coat and I'm sitting there standing there and he's on the step like this and he's huge.
He's 6'4, 6'5. And he pulls out a knife and he says, "I'm ready. I'm prepared." And um then he puts the knife back and he says, "Hey, do you want to come inside?" And I mean, now here's the here's my prayer. My prayer is let me into that house.
I want to do a Bible study with that man. Help me to start to disciple that man. And so I say I pray. I pray he's just put the knife away. I pray and I and I don't recommend this game. But the Lord said yes. And so I went into the house.
There's more weapons. And uh and I say, "Hey, can we pray, man?" And he's raging. I say, "Hey, can we pray?" He's raging some more. I say, "Can we pray?" About the 10th time, I and I noticed what happens as the rage came out. And as I listened to him and asked, "Can we pray?"
The rage actually turned to expressing hurt from his childhood. I said, "Can we pray?" He said, "Shed some more. Can we?" About the 10th time, he said, "I'm ready now." He sat down. I said, "Holy Spirit, come." As soon as that word holy came out of my mouth, the whole atmosphere of the entire room shifted.
The presence of God invaded that space and he just began to weep like a like a baby. He was baptized in the love of God. We embraced. We wept together. We cried together. He gave his heart to the Lord. He came to church the next week or two weeks later.
And we were talking. We're praying every street of Fangare, every street. And he said, "Can I come? Can I come?" I went to his house on the next Wednesday, picked him up, and he had gone from raging man to one of my most fervent prayer warriors in the car praying over the streets of our city because of Jesus. >> That's awesome. >> That's my testimony. >> That's so good. >> Thank you, G.
Andy's got Andy's got a ton of those. A ton of those. If we're not careful, we get uh and listen, remember the first part. He's doing a work in you. Let him do it. But if we're not careful, we get too focused on us instead of what he's doing. >> He's doing amazing things. >> Proverbs 19:21, many plans are in a man's mind, but is in the Lord's purpose for him that will stand, that will be carried out.
I have lots of thoughts about how my life should go. He knows how it's going to go. And if we're not careful, we begin to focus too much on what's happening on the outside. And often it keeps us from finding value on what he's doing on the inside. if we can get the team back up.
We're actually going to just do one more song together. Is that all right? Can we do that? So, we're going to do that together. But, um, we're going to focus on him just to end. I I read this the other day, and this is this is not the Bible, but it kind of points out what I'm what I'm trying to say.
There was a a woman. She went to a a restaurant and um she left a review. She went to a Mexican restaurant, left a review, said absolutely awful tamalei. Tamale, chewy, stringy. I couldn't even bite through it. Then there's another review underneath that review. Same woman. Okay. I was just told I'm not supposed to eat the corn husk.
This is This is two of these. That changed the whole experience. Seriously, the best thing I've ever tried. OMG, I'm so sorry. I don't know how to delete my other review. I I just want to say this as a as a as a Mexican descent person who's had his fair share of tamales, both good and bad, you really do need the corn husk.
Do you know this? >> You ever have you ever cooked a tamale without the corn husk? warmed it up, steamed it up the way you're supposed to do it. It is gross and it falls apart and it's soggy and it's no good and it's mush. You need that corn husk.
It is required to make the tamala correctly. You have to have it. You should not eat it. What's valuable or should I say this? What's most valuable about the tamale is not what's on the outside. It is what's on the inside. It is the meat and the masa. >> That is that's you know what that is.
Yes. All right. You're in California. Even white people know what that is in California. If you're from the east coast, look it up. I don't know. >> Yeah. New Zealand. >> Yeah. It Listen. Right now, I feel like, as best I can describe this, I feel like the Lord is making us into something. >> He's making us to look more like him. >> He really is. >> It's often challenging.
It's sometimes tough, but he's making us to look more like him. >> But what he is doing is to shape us from the inside out. And we have to let him do that. And our focus, well, it's it's often challenging if we eat the wrong thing. It is it is very unenjoyable.
But if we can focus on what he's actually doing, it has the potential to be the best thing you've ever tasted, >> ever in your whole life. >> So good. >> I'm working that out. and and my prayer is Lord, may whatever you're doing in me turn out to be the best thing I've ever tasted. >> Let's stand together.
The team is going to come out eventually. I hope that's the plan to to do that. So, I gave the whole story and you left me hanging. No, I'm just kidding. If I could just if I could just uh we're going to worship because I think it's good to focus on him. >> I know we had some fun tonight and um I hope I hope we did and we laughed together, but don't move too too quickly past what he's doing >> in your heart.
Keep your focus on him. make sure that we are spending time in our word, spending time in prayer, spending time in worship. And if we can keep with the the same kind of metaphor, let him let him cook you to perfection and let the thing that's happening often on the outside, let it shape what he's doing to you on the inside. >> He is he is really good. >> Yeah.
There is nothing that can stop his goodness. Lord, I pray that your goodness, that your mercy, your kindness, Father, that it would overtake us, Lord. Thank you for what you are doing in us. And as best we can, Father, we embrace that. We embrace that. But let our focus, our attention, our heart, let it always be first on you.
On you. Amen. Before we go anywhere, let's just take a moment and let's just worship together. We set our eyes to Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith. Thank you for the cross, Lord. Thank you for the price you've paid. Bearing all my sin and shame. In love, you came and gave amazing grace.

So Jesus, I thank you. I thank you God. I thank you Lord that you are marking each of us with your spirit. Jesus, I thank you Lord that we may remember and it may be in the forefront of our minds your worthiness in our life, God. Lord that we may come low in humility before you.
Low in seeking your face. Low in saying God search me and know me and know if there is any wicked way in me. Lord I thank you that you will search us this week God. Lord I thank you Lord that as we go low we get to lift you in rightful place in rightful honor.
Jesus, I bless I bless every person in here that they may receive a lavishness of your spirit and of your love. Jesus, we need you. We need you desperately. We need you in our weakness, God. We need you in our strength, Lord. We need you in all things, God.
In all things, Lord. Jesus, I bless. I bless and I seal this time tonight. We just thank you. Why don't you just say thank you to Jesus? Jesus, we just say thank you. Thank you for who you are. Well, we want to just um leave open the actually just keep the heart posture if the Lord is just working in your heart right now.
We want to just leave the um just the altar open for you to receive. We'll also have ministry team and I actually felt that the ministry team if you guys could just kind of be on the wings and then want to just leave this space open. and if we could put a track on um and if you are on the ministry team just stand on the sides and I just wanted to actually leave the space open if you need to just deal with things in your own heart before the Lord.
I wanted to just create space here for people to come and just receive. But if you also re needed to receive ministry or wanted some ministry, we have going to have the ministry teams and the BSSM students on either side. And I I just felt um for all of us just for for courage and boldness to say, God, here I am. Like search my heart. If there are even places in my in my life where I haven't wanted to look at maybe because of deep pain or trauma, I feel like the Lord is just with his tenderness and his kindness touching hearts tonight and saying, "Will you trust me?
Would you take my hand? I actually want to lead you into healing and greater freedom in that area and that I'm with you that I'm with you in it. And um yeah, so God, I just pray right now for great courage to say yes for that for you to come in and touch hearts and we were even starting our whole um uh the time that we opened up about his great love.
So Jesus, I pray your great love would come and wash over people's minds, their bodies, their emotions, their spirits right now as they're watching. Father, I thank you that it is your kindness that leads us to repentance. I thank you for your great love, your lavish love for each one of us, God.
So, Father, thank you. I thank you what for breakthrough that's going to happen even this week in lives and hearts watching right now. I thank you for healing physically and even emotionally, God. So I thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Father. Wash over us with your great love. >> Come on. >> Thank you, Father.
While she was um speaking that, I was reading in Ephesians 2 verse 4. But God being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ. By grace you've been saved and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. >> God, we just thank you that it is by your great love in which you loved us.
God, we pray that people would experience your kindness throughout this week. I even feel like for many of you as uh as Gabe was exhorting us to take time to worship, to take time to brea to be in the Bible, to take time to um pray and and just to make space this week, to allow the Lord, as she was saying, to search us, but also to take time to seek him, to see his face, to look for him, to allow him to cover us in every single way >> because he's rich in mercy. >> Yes.
Yes. Oh, and that we get to experience the grace and his kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Yeah. >> Um earlier while we were in worship, um I I felt like sometimes I I'll get a word of knowledge just in my body and I just want to uh quickly pray and I don't know if you felt anything too, but I kept feeling um this like tingling sensation in my arms and um I'm not sure if anyone's struggling with maybe um uh I don't know if it's paralysis or um maybe even like a numbness in your arms and I felt like even that tingling was like something coming back to life.
And so if that's you and you're struggling right now, um, and you've been having issues in your arm, I felt it in my right arm, but >> God could do it with either, um, you could receive that for yourself and just test out your arm and see if you you feel any mobility or anything like that.
Um, and I felt something else and I can't remember. Did you have anything? >> Well, I just I saw that someone needed prayer for anxiety and that was something you were actually been feeling even before, so I don't remember. >> Yes, I released that word earlier this morning.
I felt like um the Lord was actually bringing peace like a blanket of covering in places where there was anxiety. So if that's you, I had people do a prophetic act of just even um um imagining that the hand of the Lord was on them covering them, blanketing them.
The helmet of salvation was on their heads and that you would be completely covered. And so God, we just bless anyone that's struggling with anxiety right now. That you would bring your perfect peace. That people would experience um just a rushing of your peace on their minds, God, on their brains, Jesus.
And that you would bring a blanket of covering, God, that you would take away every part of anxiety, God, that they would be washed away, washed clean, and that it would be gone in Jesus' name. >> Yes. Amen. I actually hear the Lord specifically saying to someone even watching right now, I see you >> and you're not forgotten.
And I really I felt like maybe there's you've been experiencing a lot of hopelessness. Like does any anyone even see me and I want you to know the father sees you and he is with you. He is for you. You are not abandoned or alone. And so God, I pray whoever that is, God, I pray that they that your love would rush in right now in their living rooms, wherever they're watching right now, God, that they would know that this is that this is not the end, God, that you are you are working on their behalf, that you God, even if it doesn't look like that right now, God, I just pray for fresh sight and vision to see from your perspective, God.
And I thank you that you fill them with great hope, God. You are the God of hope. You are the prince of peace. So, I thank you, Jesus, for for hope. Yeah, I really feel that really strong. And I just keep hearing the Lord say this is that this is not the end.
This is like that um what is that phrase that it's not good unless it's um I cannot remember. It's not good unless it's okay. I can't remember. It doesn't matter. >> If it's not good, then it's not done. >> That's right. Something like that. >> Because of Romans 8:28, for God works all things together for good for those who love him according to his purpose.
So, if it's not good yet, it's not done because God works everything together for good. See, team work. >> Yes, teamwork makes the dream work. Yes. But I just pray just radical hope for you. Even this week, I actually even saw like the Lord lifting our heads that when we've been so focused on maybe circumstances or situations, he's saying, "Look up.
Look up and look into my eyes of love." Because that's where you're going to find peace and hope um and just great strength and endurance for for even the race that you're on. Good. So, I just bless you with just looking and gazing into the father's eyes for you this week.
Thank you, Jesus. So good. There was a a psalm that one of my team, Alisa, one of our pastors for Bethl online, had sent to our team, and now I can't find it, but it talks about lifting up our heads to the Lord. Y >> and I don't know, but God, you know, oh, Psalm 121, I lift up my eyes to the hills.
From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. God, I pray that we would lift our eyes to see you, God. That we would look to you and that we would find our help in you this week. That no matter what we're going through, whether it's tiny or it's massive, >> that we would find you in the midst of it. >> That you would um >> you would bring courage to us, God.
You would bring hope. You would bring life. >> That you would bring closeness. That you would just come and sit with your people. God, we just thank you for this online global community. God, you're these these people who are like family to us who are um some near.
Some of you are in Reading, some of you are in Tokyo, some of you are in um Germany, some of you are in France, some of you are in South Africa, some of you are in Canada. And we just say we love you. We bless you. We're so grateful that you're part of this community, that you would be absolutely touched by the Lord, that you would know his goodness, his mercy, his radical love for you, and that this would be such a week where you would encounter the the fullness of his love for you. >> Yeah.
Thank you, Father. Yeah. His joy is your strength. Yeah. And that even even as you're walking this out, even as you're saying, "God, here I am." Like his joy, he promises like joy in the morning and joy for morning and beauty out of ashes and um praise for heaviness.
So, we just pray you experience that even this week. Thanks, God. >> Come on, guys. We bless you. We're praying for you. We see your request in the chat. Our chat hosts are on there. Also, you guys can pray for one another as the body of Christ. Um we just thank you, God, that you're touching bodies, God.
We thank you that you're bringing healing. And God, I pray that um as people test things out, they would realize like, wow, pain levels have decreased. Wow, something feels different. And and God, we just thank you in advance that you are moving. That people who are going to watch this back two weeks from now are going to have radical breakthrough in their left hips.
God, that baby toes are going to be healed. That people are going to experience your mercy even through a playback. So God, we just bless you. We honor you guys. We love you. We're praying for you. And uh we're just celebrating all that the Lord's doing in and through your lives.
