The Truth About Life, Death & God

This verse reads in Exodus 2013, "You shall not murder." Say that with me. "You shall not murder." Listen to this statement. You can kill, but you can't commit murder. I'll explain this. You would think that of all the ten commandments, the one that needs the least explaining is the sixth commandment, but the King James Bible translates, "Thou shalt not kill."

Yet, the truth is quite the opposite. This is the least understood of the ten commandments. The reason is that the Hebrew original does not say do not kill. It says, "Do not murder." And there's a world of difference between the two. Both Hebrew and English have two words for the taking of life.

One is kill, the other is murder. In Hebrew, kill is harog and to murder is ratak. The difference between the two is eternal. Taking any life whether of a human life or of an animal. On the other hand, murder can only mean one thing. The illegal or immoral taking of human life with malice of forethought.

That God will not put up with. That's why we can say, "I killed a mosquito. I didn't murder a mosquito." There's a difference. 400 years ago when the King James translators translated the original Bible manuscripts into English, the word kill and murder was a synonymous word. If the Ten Commandments prohibited all killing, we would have to be vegetarians.

Think about it. You have to kill the cow before you can eat the steak. You have to kill the hog to get the bacon and the ham. You have to kill the chicken before you can go to church's fried chicken and order chicken. I mean, how simple can something be?

Killing an animal is necessary. We'd all have to be pacifist if we just took thou shalt not kill by itself since we could not kill anyone in our own self-defense. Listen, if someone enters your home to harm you, shoot him, say the Lord. That's going to get a few letters coming.

I can assure you. The same part of the Bible that contains the Ten Commandments, commands the death penalty for murder, and allows killing in war, prescribes animal sacrifice, and allows the eating of meat. Regarding capital punishment and the Bible, the only law that appears in each one of the five books of Moses is that murderers are to be put to death.

In the Bible, the death penalty was immediate when you were found guilty. You were stoned to death on the spot. You didn't sit in an air conditioned cell 15 years watching color television waiting for your lawyer to find some comma that went wrong and set into captive a murder free.

People say the death penalty doesn't work. That's wrong. the death penalty hasn't been tried. When you try and get convicted and are executed on the same week, I assure you the murder rate in America would drop like a rock. Now, let's turn the Bible scope on an issue that is a raging issue.

This major issue is about abortion. The womb of the mother should be a sanctuary of hope, not a death chamber. >> There are eight facts that you should know about the Holocaust of America's children. God hates the nation or the person who murders an innocent child. This is not a random thought.

This is a Bible thought. Proverbs 6:16, "These things God hates." The next words, "Hands that shed innocent blood." There is no blood more innocent than that of an infant child in the womb of the mother. Nothing is more innocent than that. You should know that over one and a half million babies have been aborted every year in America.

Every day of the week, 4,000 innocent human lives are destroyed by abortion. 64 million babies have been slaughtered since Row versus Wade. Every 20 seconds somewhere in this land, a baby which never had the chance to cry out for joy has been savagely ripped from the womb into the silence of the tomb.

You should know that minors who cannot legally purchase liquor or cigarettes can get an abortion on demand without parental knowledge or your consent. Think about that. In most states, a teenage girl who could not be treated for a common cold in a hospital without the consent of her parents can get an abortion there without your approval or without your knowledge.

And if complications set in and she happens to die, her parents will be notified to come claim the body. That's where we are in America. Ladies and gentlemen, you are the parents of your children. You have authority over those children. Those children belong to you, not the state.

You should know that medical evidence proves the humanity of the unborn. By the time that an unborn child is 6 weeks old, they're at a time when when most women are not even aware that they are pregnant. The child already has eyes, lungs, intestines, a detectable heartbeat, and a measurable brain wave.

The baby already has its own DNA, which means that baby is a living soul. It is a living person at the age. You should know that abortion techniques are excruciatingly painful for the baby which they destroy. Abortion kills an unborn child in particularly brutal and painful ways by tearing them savagely out of the womb by suction or dismembering them alive.

There is no doubt that babies whose brains and nervous systems are functioning suffer horribly from the abortion process. The doctor tells you that that baby is a blob of flesh and feels nothing is lying to you. You should know about the grizzly traffic in aborted fetuses. Not all aborted fetuses are flushed down the commode.

Some are sold for the purposes of scientific experimentation or cosmetics. Get that? Sold for scientific experiences. Who did that? Hitler manglay. That's what he did. America is just as bad, if not worse, than the policies of Hitler toward the Jewish people. You should know that God hates hands that shed innocent blood.

Proverbs 6:16 declares that these things the Lord hates. Those are the exact words of the Bible. Hands that shed innocent blood. We are living in an age which has forgotten God and forgotten God's word. This in the minds of many Americans doesn't count. I assure you on judgment day when you stand before God to give an account of every word, every thought, and every deed, this is going to be the only thing that counts.

The question is, is the fetus considered human life? Proabortionists say absolutely not. It's a blob of flesh. God's word, God's word says exactly the opposite. Leviticus 17:11 says, "For the life of the flesh is in the blood. For it is the for it is the life of all flesh.

The blood is for the life thereof." The Bible is saying where there is blood, there is life. That's God's view. That's God's view. There's life there, you leave it alone. It's is the fetus alive. Listen to God's opinion. Exodus 21:22, "If men are fighting and they hit a pregnant woman and she gives birth prematurely, but there is no serious damage, the offender must be fined whatever the woman's husband demands and the court allows."

This is in the Bible. But the Bible continues, "If there is serious injury and the baby dies, you shall take life for life, life for life." God considers that baby alive. Isaiah 49:1, "The Lord knows the person while it's in its womb. He knew Isaiah in his mother's body."

Isaiah 49:5 Isaiah writes, "And now the Lord says, who formed me from the womb to be his servant?" And now the Lord says, "Who formed me from the womb to be his servant?" Jeremiah 1:4 and5, "I knew you. I knew your characteristics. I knew your name. I knew your mission in life."

Read that verse. It's not a blob of flesh. It is a life sophisticated enough for God Almighty to have a relationship with it. Life that God has sanctified, life that God has ordained, life that God has named, a blob of flesh, not hardly. If Jesus didn't rise from the dead, faith would have no meaning and hope would have no future.

John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Spirit while he was in his mother's womb. Luke 1:41 says John the Baptist had a charismatic experience in his mother's womb. The Bible said he leaped. Why? Because he was responding to the presence of the Holy Spirit before he was born.

He was not a meaningless blob of flesh. Genesis 25:21, God looks at the fetal life in the womb of Rebecca. Rebecca has twins. And he tells Rebecca, "You have two nations in your body. The stronger and the elder will serve the younger, and the younger will be a heelcatcher."

That was Jacob and Esau. He knew their names. He knew their disposition. He knew their accomplishments. Jacob, by the way, was the was the third member of the chain of command with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And out of that command came Jesus Christ, the son of God. That was an important role in history.

God looked into Rebecca's womb and he did not say, "I see two blobs of flesh." He knew their names. He knew their destiny. He knew their character. He knew their temperament. He knew them because they were alive. They were people. They had a soul. They had a divine purpose.

They were not to be flushed down a commode in an abortion clinic. You must understand that a child in the womb of the mother is forbidden to be murdered under any circumstance. David writes in Psalms 127, "Behold, children are heritage from the Lord. The fruit of the womb is his reward."

Hear that? The fruit of the womb is his reward. That's your children. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They shall not be ashamed, but shall speak with their enemies in the gates.

In the days of Israel, all legal matters and all disputes were settled at the gates with the elders of the city. When you became elderly, your children went to the gates of the city, and they interceded for you, and they defended you because they are your children. Does a woman have the right to her own body?

Oh, 1 Corinthians 6:18 and 20 very clearly says that God has all the rights. Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence, "We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal and endowed by their creator with certain inaliable rights. That among them are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

Say that with me. life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Life is the first constitutional guarantee. Life is the guarantee of God. We don't get sophisticated enough to veto God's opinion. Consider God's judgment upon legislators, passing legislation, making godless things possible. Isaiah 10:1 says, quote, "Woe to them that decree unrighteous decrees."

That would be judges, that would be Congress, that would be governors. Woe to those that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievous laws which they have prescribed. A law that allows and protects abortion will bring the judgment of God, says Isaiah. It will bring it to America. If God does not judge America, he's going to have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.

Does God expect believers to help those who are defenseless? Proverbs 3:18, "Open your mouth for the dumb." The dumb are people who can't speak. Obviously, an innocent baby can't defend himself. Open your mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. God says, "Open your mouth.

Speak up. Don't stand by and let it happen without your protest." This is what's happening here right now. We are building a wall of defense for children to live. Let me let me press that just a minute. Open your mouth. He said, "Don't be recognized in heaven as a dumb dog."

That's in the Bible. Do you know that? Isaiah 56:10 says, quote, "God's watchmen are all dumb dogs." Quote for quote the Bible. Dumb means they don't speak. The dog sees a robber coming. He runs under the house with his tail between his legs whimpering. That's a dumb dog.

I'm a dog lover. But if you have a watchdog that does that, he's just a biscuit eater. He's not. If you are a preacher and you get in the pull pit and you don't have the courage to preach the yay and the amen of God, you should do God a favor and find another occupation.

You are a dumb dog. God avenges innocent blood. When Cain slew Abel, he said, "The blood of your brother cries out to me from the ground." Can you imagine the blood of 64 million children crying out to God? Psalms 106:37 says, "They, Israel, sacrificed their sons and daughters to false gods.

They got into this trouble. They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters whom they sacrificed to the islands of Canaan. And the land was desecrated by their blood. They defiled themselves by what they did. By their deeds they prostituted themselves. Therefore the Lord was angry with his people and abhored his inheritance.

He gave them into the hand of other nations and their foes ruled over them. If you don't think God judges a nation and allows that nation to be overthrown because of the way you treat your children, you don't know this book and you don't believe this book. >> We see that happening in America right now.

It's high time for all Americans to recognize the value and secretity of our children from the time they're in the mother's womb until they die. In closing, let me share personal a personal experience that Donna and I had on this abortion issue. Donna was expecting. She called my office crying and she said, "I've been exposed to measles."

She had walked into the church nursery and the girl who was there um attending the babies had she told us she had German measles and Diana went to her obstitrician and flippidly he said well we'll just have an abortion she called me again crying say the doctor says that the chances are 80% that our baby will be malformed if we have this baby.

I said, "Fire the doctor." She said, "I can't." I said, "Give him the phone. I will." I fired him. I told him, "We will put it in God's hands." >> Amen. and we'll live with the consequences. Two two weeks later, we found out the German measles was a rash, but our baby would have already been in the trash can had we said, "Go forward."

I have set before you life and death. Choose life. >> Choose life. Choose life. Now, here's the hook. That baby the doctor wanted to abort was Pastor Matthew Hickey. So when I say So when I say don't let Satan destroy your future, Amen. >> I've lived that you never go wrong standing on the promises of God. >> Never. >> Now, I want to address this audience in our national television audience.

Yet, we did it because we have become a callous and godless nation. The blood of Jesus Christ and the mercy of God be upon everyone who has experienced an abortion. And I ask you, God, for the future of our nation that now hangs in the balance, give us yet another opportunity to seek the Lord and serve him only.

Let us turn to righteousness. Let us become we the people who are servants of the living God and that this nation may long endure and live in a dimension of righteousness.
