Prophecy Revealed ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> The fact of the Bible is that God chose Jerusalem as the place where his name would be there forever. Say the word with me, forever. Jerusalem is the spiritual White House to the world. It sends the beacon of hope to the world. Our world is staggering in despair. Wars are being talked about all over the earth. To a world that has lost its moral compass. Jerusalem is that city that says by its very presence, there is a God of might and miracles. And as the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so is the Lord, God Almighty, around his people forever. Psalms 132:13, "The Lord has chosen Zion, that's Jerusalem, and he hath desired it for his own habitation." That means God lives there. Jerusalem is God's house on earth. Jerusalem is God's address. If you ever go to Jerusalem and pray at the Western Wall, you will feel the presence of the Lord God, the defender of Israel. In 1978, I went to the wall for the first time to pray. I had a list that I wanted God to do. And as I started reading that list, I turned and looked over my shoulder at this elderly gentleman that you see in the picture. He's Jewish. He's walk rocking back and forth, kissing the Bible. His cheeks had tears. I stared at him for just a long minute. I looked back to the wall, and this thought went through my mind. That man is your spiritual brother. All the things that are good spiritually came to us through the Jewish people. He's your spiritual brother. And you don't know anything about him, and he's terrified of you. I want you to do everything in your power to bring Christians and Jews together. Unusual thought. I put my request list in the cracks and said, "You handle this. I'm leaving." And I went and found Diana, who was praying with the ladies, and I told her what I thought. She said, "However are you going to do that? Christians and Jews have been fighting each other for 2,000 years. How do you think that you can make you can make that happen?" I said, "I don't know, but I think I'm supposed to try." I bought about $500 worth of books about history, Middle East history, and so forth, because we skipped over all that in seminary. Two years passed. I'm trying to find a way to reach out to the Jewish people. And then in 1981, the opportunity came that I told our congregation, "We are going to have a night to honor Israel for the whole city of San Antonio. We're going to go down to the Lila Cockrell Auditorium, and we're going to have our choir sing Hebrew songs. I'm sure we terrified the Israelis with our Hebrew, but anyway, we were trying. And I said, "We are going to express our love and appreciation to them." It wasn't an easy sale. I had to go to the Jewish Federation, and it took four trips before they were willing to do it. But they packed the auditorium that night. And that auditorium, we had a bomb threat at the end. And the Christians were gone. I mean, as fast as the rapture will take you out of here, they were gone. And the Jewish people looked at me and just flipped their hands. This is old stuff for them. I saw that, and it just went in like a bullet. I said to Diana, I said, "We are going to do this until these thugs get used to it." >> ((applause)) >> I made a video of it. I sent it to hundreds of churches across America. I got in my plane and flew from town to town to town. I no longer have a plane, but I did then. It caught on fire. Nights to honor Israel were happening all over America. And then in 2006, whenever Ahmadinejad was threatening to blow Israel up with a bomb, I said, "Israel needs representation in Washington, D.C." We took another leap of faith and founded Christians United for Israel. We organized this nation by regions, by districts, by cities, and that every person in the United States who will support Israel has become a part of Christians United for Israel. Today, because of that prayer at the Western Wall, we have over 10 million people who stand with Israel. Psalms 48, David writes, "Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised in the city of our God," that would be Jerusalem. "The joy of the whole earth is Mount Zion, the city of the great king. God will establish it forever." The point is, David declares Jerusalem is the place of joy. God has sworn it to be the eternal city to be established forever. Jerusalem has been conquered and reconquered 44 times in history. Yet it stands. Why? Because God has sworn to establish it forever. Jerusalem standing is a testimonial to the keeping power of God. Psalms 137:5, "If I forget thee, O Jerusalem," this is David, "let my right hand forget its cunning, and let and let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth if I do not pre- prefer Jerusalem above my chief joy." He goes on to say Jerusalem is the city of God. Jerusalem is the city of David. The only capital Israel has ever had or ever will have is Jerusalem. Jerusalem in prophecy is found in Luke 21:24. I'll get there in just a minute. Jerusalem is the city mentioned in scripture 811 times. It first appears in Genesis 14:18, where they where the Bible records Melchizedek, the king of Salem. Salem was Jerusalem, Jerusalem. Jerusalem equals the city of peace. This is where Abraham paid his tithes to Melchizedek after the battle with five kings. Abraham trained over 300 of his men who were trained in combat, went into the battle of five kings, defeated those kings. He took all their gold and their silver and all of their wealth, and he brought it back to Jerusalem, and he gave it to Melchizedek. Jerusalem is the city of God. Jerusalem is the city of David. It's the only capital Israel has ever had or ever will have. Jerusalem is the city where Solomon built the temple. The temple was then and is now known as one of the seven wonders of the world. Jerusalem is the city where Jeremiah and Isaiah penned the principles of righteousness that became the moral foundation for Western civilization. Jerusalem is the city that will be forever the world headquarters for the church of Jesus Christ. Not Rome, not Rome, but Jerusalem. Jerusalem is the city of God. >> ((applause)) >> 1 Peter chapter 2:6 says, "Behold, I lay in Zion." Zion is Jerusalem. "Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect and precious." That means it's Jesus. "And he that builds upon him shall not be confounded." Jesus Christ is the cornerstone. That's why we named this church Cornerstone. We will not be confounded. We will pursue the glory and the honor of Jesus Christ as savior and Lord. There is no other. >> ((applause)) >> Jews Jerusalem in prophecy is found in Luke 21:24. "And Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles until" This is the word. "Until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled." Underline that word, until. "Then they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with great power. This is the rapture. Now, when these things begin to happen, look up because your redemption draweth nigh. It's a clear description of the rapture. Why? When Jerusalem is no longer controlled by the Gentiles. The fact is the Gentile reign over Jerusalem stopped in 1967. That was a Six-Day War. It has been so for 58 years. Look up. Look up, the Bible says. The king is coming. The king is coming. The king is coming. >> ((applause)) >> Jerusalem is the city where the Six-Day War on June the 7th, 1963rd 67 at 9:50 a.m. saw Jerusalem brought under the control of the Jewish people for the first time in 2,000 years. God's top priority is now focused on Jerusalem and Israel. The times of the Gentiles have been fulfilled. Jerusalem in prophecy is found in Psalms 102. The Bible says, "And when the Lord shall build up Zion, that's Jerusalem, he will appear in his glory there." God's going to make a personal appearance. Jerusalem is the city where Jesus Christ will personally come when he returns to Earth. He's not coming to Washington. He's not coming to Rome. He's coming to the city of David. He's coming to Jerusalem. He will rule and reign for a thousand years of absolute peace. It's called the Millennial Reign. The lion will lay down with the lamb. He will set up his throne on the Temple Mount. Kings and queens and presidents and prime ministers and monarchs and mighty men of the earth will come and kneel before the before the carpenter's son because he is the mighty conqueror. The resurrection of Jesus Christ changed ((music playing)) everything. Because he was a warrior with a spiritual insight like no other. Let me illustrate. David versus Goliath was a supernatural battle. In the Bible, six is the number of sin. The Antichrist number is 666. He represents Satan, the Antichrist, and the false prophet. First Chronicles 26 and 8 states, "Goliath had six fingers, six toes, and six cubits and a span high." Goliath was a demonized force. He was hell's champion come to destroy Israel. David's brothers and 40,000 Israeli soldiers were terrified of Goliath, but not David. He saw the battle for Jerusalem. Satan's attempt to stop the plan of God on Earth. He picked up five stones. Why five? Because Goliath had four brothers. David wanted four He wanted total victory. He got it. He in a war, there is no substitute for total victory. David fought Goliath and said, "If the rest of you want some of it, keep coming. We are going to be victorious here." >> ((applause)) >> The supernatural battle for Jerusalem is not over. The battle of Islam versus Judaism is a supernatural struggle. The Antichrist wants to rule the world from Jerusalem. The Messiah, the son of David, his name is Jesus, has been promised the city of Jerusalem for himself. The battle for Jerusalem is far far from over. It will be in our future. I repeat, Jerusalem is the centerpiece of Bible prophecy. As we celebrate Jerusalem, remember this. When the Pharisees came to Jesus saying, "Herod is going to kill you." Jesus said in Luke 13:32, "Go tell that fox." That was an ugly word then. "Go tell that fox that I cast out demons and do cures today and tomorrow and on the third day I will be glorified." Lock in on to that. The Bible says, "Behold." Second Peter 3 and 8, "Be not ignorant of this one thing, that a day with the Lord is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day." Get that in your mind. In Bible prophecy concerning Jerusalem, 2,000 years have passed. 2,000 years are over. We are now celebrating the birth of the third day. 2025 is 25 years into the third day. Jesus said, "On the third day I will be glorified." Jesus is coming soon. Jesus is coming soon. Jesus is coming soon. >> ((applause)) >> Jesus in Jerusalem in prophecy. Jesus first recorded day in Jerusalem is his 13th birthday. Described in Luke the second chapter, verse 41, "Every year his parents went to dressing for the Feast of Passover." When he was fully 12 years old, he went up to the feast according to the custom. The Bible says fully 12. When you're fully 12, you're 13 years old. Some of you look at me there. That's the way the Bible says it. The point is it was Jesus' Bar Mitzvah. Where he received the prayer shawl as a man. He walked into the Temple a boy. And when he received that prayer shawl, he was a man. It's scripturally proved by his Jewish mother. When he was lost and they were looking for him, they couldn't find him. When she found him, she gave him a Jewish dressing down. And she he He Jesus looked at her and said, "Don't you know that I must be about my father's business?" I mean, he shut her down. He answered her as an adult because he was now a man. You can work that out at home, however it goes for you. About passing in this. In the Bible, the age of accountability for your conduct doesn't start at 18, it starts at 13. I think God has a better idea than we do. >> ((applause)) >> The teaching of the prayer shawl, brother Trail, if you'll bring that, please. Moses wore this to his funeral. Daniel wore this to the lions' den. Jesus was given this on his 13th birthday and he wore it every day for the rest of his life. He will wear it again in the Second Coming. How do you know that? Numbers 15:38. The Jewish people don't wear this because they think it's a religious thing to do. They do it because they are commanded of God to do it. In Numbers 15:38. God says, "Speak unto the children of Israel." God is saying this to Moses. "Speak unto the children of Israel and bid them that they make fringes on the borders of their garments throughout all their generations. And that they put those on, the fringe, with a ribbon of blue." God said, "I want every generation to wear this." "And it shall be unto you for the fringes that you may look upon it and remember all the commandments of the Lord God." That means the the See all these little fringes here? There are 622 things the Jewish people have to remember. And we have only 10. Wow, what a break we get here. God himself designed this prayer shawl. He commanded the Jewish people to wear it. The border is blue as a reminder that God is in heaven. The first color in the tabernacle is blue. The first line in the Lord's Prayer is Our Father, which art in heaven, blue. The seat seat is the name of God. Here, these are coils that are twisted with specific numbers of turning and twisting. I could talk about this 30 minutes and you'd still be lost. Just take it for my knowledge that these represent the eight names of God. When you hold this, you're holding the names of God in your hand. Jehovah Rapha, the God our God heals. Jehovah Shalom, the prince of peace. He is Jehovah Jireh, the God who supplies. He's Jehovah Rohi, the Psalms 23. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He is the God of joy. In His presence is the fullness of joy. He's the God of peace. He is the prince of peace. He's the God of love. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. It's the God who controls your finances. He's the Lord that gives you the power to get wealth. Jehovah Sidkenu, He is the God of righteousness. Jehovah M'Kaddesh, the Lord our holiness. For the Bible says, "Without holiness, no man shall see God." Jehovah Nissi, is the Lord our banner. That means a flag when you go to war. We used to sing this song, but it was dropped because it was too militarily. Onward Christian soldiers marching as to war with the cross of Jesus going on before. Christ the royal master leads AGAINST THE FOE. ONWARD INTO BATTLE, see His banners go. We dropped singing that because it was too pugilistic. Paul said, "Fight the good fight. Fight for truth and righteousness. Fight to destroy the evil OF ANTI-SEMITISM. DON'T BACK AWAY. STAND like a lion and let God arise and His enemies be scattered." >> ((applause)) >> This prayer shawl is the flag of Israel with a star. Isaiah 11:12, "But He shall raise a banner." That's a flag. "For the nations and gather the exiles of Israel." The flag of Israel is the prayer shawl with the star of David on it. God has gathered the Jewish people from their Gentile graves to this promised land under that flag and He has designed it and the Jewish people have worn it now for generations. The prayer shawl and the miracles of Jesus. Matthew 9:20, "The woman with the issue of blood for 12 years. She came from behind Him and touched the hem of His garment." How do you know it was the hem of His garment? The Greek word is kraspedon. Kraspedon means twisted coil. She said the woman came. There was a crowd. She went uh behind Him and touched the hem of His garment. This. And when He she touched it, she was supernaturally healed. She reached for the name of God. The Bible says, "Whatever you ask in My name, I will do it." I will do it. >> ((applause)) >> One more thing and I'll close. The prayer shawl and the resurrection. On the resurrection day, they found the prayer shawl folded in the tomb of Jesus. The Bible translators called it a napkin. John 20:6. King James translators didn't know what to call it. It was a folded prayer shawl. It was Jesus' prayer shawl. Because it was folded exactly right. This is not exactly right. Whoever folded it was alive. Whoever folded it was Jewish. The folded prayer shawl and the ultimate testimony of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. His body was not stolen. He came alive and He said, "As I live, so shall you live." Hallelujah to the Lamb of God. >> ((applause)) >> The last appearance of the prayer shawl in scripture. This is in the future. Revelation 19:13, "And He Jesus was clothed in the vesture dipped in blood and His name is called the Word of God. And He hath on His vesture and on His thigh a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords." Where did this blood come from? Jesus had just destroyed the armies that have gathered to destroy Jerusalem at Armageddon. The blood of Israel's enemies are on the skirts of this prayer shawl. In the final battle, the church of Jesus Christ is victorious. In the final battle, the enemies of Zion are destroyed. In the final battle, Satan is bound and cast into hell. The lion shall lay down with the lamb. The first time in history, there was perfect peace. For the first time in history, there will be no more tears. There will be no more suffering. There will be no more separation. There will be no more death. There will be no more ((music playing)) sickness. There will be no more pain. There will be no more crying. There will be no more wars. There will be no more cell phones. God in heaven. What God created in Genesis, the Garden of Eden, will be recreated for all of the earth. Everything will come full circle in eternity. Hallelujah to the Lamb of God. Can we stand together? >> ((music playing)) >> You're watching Hagee Ministries. Stay tuned. Your blessing ((music playing)) is coming up after this short message.
