i love that last phrase christ revealed how many of you seen a new revelation of jesus in this place recently ((music playing)) come on ((music playing)) ((music playing)) is is ((music playing)) in ((music playing)) foreign ((music playing)) ((music playing)) is ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) come on ((music playing)) he's in this place tonight ((music the lord for all that he's done for you tell him how good he's been to you thank him for you found together and uh it's just a it's a beautiful service it's so different from what happens on the weekends but i love it and i love this service respect this service there's just something about it that always just gets me right in the fields amen and i just love what the lord's doing in every service in our church and and i want to say this the testimonies that are coming out literally every single day from our sunday evening mass deliverance services are truly remarkable god is setting people free in so so many ways just hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of people just over the last six weeks we'll come into our seventh week i believe lord willing this weekend at six o'clock and it's just beautiful to behold all that the lord is doing and it's just it's marvelous it's the lord's doing it's beautiful in our sight and i'm humbled by it and to just i thank you for our church just being so open to the things of the lord you know if you grew up in any type of a traditional atmosphere in a church you know that it would take weeks of voting just to move the communion table in most churches to transition the color of the carpet or the the size of the nursery but to be able to transition a large church and especially a magnanimously sized group of people online and then to have everybody basically saying look we've been waiting for this for a long long time we've been wanting to see the manifest presence of the lord in our in our midst and to be able to transition a church so quickly and to be able to preach week by week by week by week and just mash the gas for 23 or 24 sermons in a row it's been just humbling as a shepherd and so as your pastor i just want to say thank you for taking the journey with us and for just being so willing to obey the voice of the spirit you know somebody told me at the very beginning of this year and i had no idea how true this was going to be he said you know god's given you a massive voice he said but this year it'll not be about your voice he said this year it's going to be about your ear listen to the spirit listen to the spirit and when we started listening to the spirit i'm telling you things started happening in this place that are unbelievable and undeniable and so thank you for being a part of what the lord is doing well on wednesday nights and i know last week was so different because the storm was amongst us and literally when we said amen this place started lifting up all the whole tent was dancing men were holding poles and by the way they have been in here all week long concreting all of these inside and perimeter poles give these guys a hand they have worked for hours to make sure this tent is secure and uh sunday it was beautiful to walk in just on a regular sunday morning and literally have just nearly standing room only just people all over this tent we're renting more chairs for easter we don't know what to expect other than we expect the lord to show up show out and continue to do beautiful things this past weekend many of you if you were here for the baptismal celebrations you heard me rejoice as we still had that line of of 40 or 50 people and this past sunday we we crossed the line of 3500 baptisms in two years 3 500 converts following the lord in believer's baptism and really we're not even two years into the tent ministry until we get to memorial day and so it's just been beautiful to behold and and all of you and so many online and those even that can't be here tonight that will be here sunday are so much a part of what god is doing in this place and i'm just grateful for it but i'll win tonight's we'd love to have communion together as a local church fellowship i'm going to invite our our servers and our folks that are going to be serving and working to go ahead and begin to make their way up you don't have to be somebody that's been to global vision a thousand times to take communion there's two biblical prerequisites of the new testament you have to be saved and you have to want to be walking in the spirit you don't have to be perfect but you do have to be different and you can't have known sin and division and hatred and rebellion in your heart and expect to be able to take communion because this is not a haphazard willy-nilly just approach the throne of the lord and drink some juice and eat a cracker and think it's no big deal to god this is a massively big deal a massively big deal it is the number one thing that brought about unity in the context of the local church in the book of acts it's why they did it every time they met and they broke bread and they ate and drank together from house to house to house to house because it's hard to hate people and be at odds with people that you're breaking bread with and so the bible has a lot to say about the unity and the harmony that it brings about and so from the screen right here in the middle in this poll everybody on that side you can get your elements there get both the grape juice and the cracker head back your seat we'll read the description a moment everybody on opportunity to worship you in communion and we know that it's a blessed thing to be in harmony fellowship in communion one with another but ultimately that's only because of our communion with you we thank you father that we can commune with you through the power and the work of the holy spirit the lord you speak through us at times with groanings which cannot even be uttered in the despair in the brokenness in the darkness in the hurt and all the pain of life weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning we thank you that we can commune with our father never will we ever outrun the grace of god never can we out sin and out rebellion the forgiveness of god thank you that you're a good good father when we've been some bad bad people thank you for your mercy thank you for your grace thank you for the broken body and the shed blood of our beautiful savior the lord jesus christ now as we continue to worship may we honor you revere you be in all of you and father tonight would you just grace us with your presence both in this room online in the student ministry and the children's department tonight gather glory unto yourself set us free set your people free tonight for whosoever shall call upon the name of the lord in these last days shall be delivered i pray god that you would continue to give people full complete and total freedom in the lord jesus christ in whose this time to go down to the student center and have their time of bible study together all of our young people you can begin to head that way if you would while they are heading down their way finding their place you find your place in the gospel of john and the seventh chapter is where we're going to begin tonight in our continuation of our bible study john chapter number seven and all those youngins walking out i love to see that there was a time that our church was not even as big as our youth ministry amen and youth ministry is growing and i thank the lord for that that's a good sign of a good healthy church amen a good healthy congregation so thank god for all of those young people as they make their way out john chapter 7 is will will be in just a moment let me just say by way of an announcement many of you will see this because you see when i when i travel especially when i'm close i put things out and we have a number of our people in our faith community here and our church that enjoy coming now this is a little bit of a different meeting that i'm going to be doing coming up and i am looking forward to this all right and uh where is where's pastor rich and miss amy right here stand up just for a second these folks right here uh pastor in in the spencer tennessee area and uh i got to be honest with you i was so amped when this guy called me and it's not just because i mean i i preach a lot of places right a lot of different kind of meetings but uh this meeting is going to be april the 21st through the 23rd he's got a different speaker every night i actually get to be the kickoff the leadoff speaker on the 21st on that thursday and so i'll remind you again on that wednesday because we're going to load some folks up and we want to go down the road how far is it from here about two hours from here so not bad like going to the grocery store for some of you that drive from memphis to come to church every week amen so a couple hours from here in spencer tennessee we'll give you all the details uh how do you know where fall creek falls is all right 17 miles from fall creek falls fall creek falls is a beautiful place interesting place but they're allowing a conference to be hosted this year during this same time called the cauldron fest so everybody that thinks i'm crazy about calling out witchcraft we're talking about hundreds of witches from all over the world that converge at fall creek falls to have nothing but motivational witchcraft speakers and all of their seances and hocus-pocus spells i've looked at their facebook page and i'm like you have got to be kidding me this is like full-blown satanism on display for everybody to see and people want to deny it i mean they have all of these world-renowned witches wizards and warlocks coming in and to fall creek falls hundreds of them maybe thousands of them from all over the world and so you talk about a man that's willing to have two kingdoms go to battle 17 miles down the road you have to pass it to get to the cauldron fest he's putting up a tent matter of fact he's putting up the first white tent that we had down here because he's renting it from the same guy and he's going to have kingdom quest 22 during the same time that the witches have cauldron fest 22. i like a guy like this huh you want to get me on board just punch the devil in the mouth and i'm on i'm with you praise god we can be friends for life so that thursday night we're gonna kick things off and uh you know it's it's probably been there's no problem to it it's been difficult to get a lot of uh response from other churches and other pastors it's amazing to me how many pastors and churches side with witchcraft against the church uh that's a whole message ended up itself don't get me started it's just announcement time but uh i want you to be i'm gonna put it out and uh i i commented on it from my big page a couple of weeks ago and then all of a sudden the thing shot up and 39 000 people were seeing it and so we wanted to say something about it on the live stream we're going to put everything out more than likely by friday uh that mean that event will be out again they go for several days you can go the whole entire time but i'm going to be there that night and so i'd love to have some of our church show up there wouldn't that beautiful be beautiful hey have some of our deliverance team show up there that night amen don't tell who's going to show up i got a sneak in suspicion since the cauldron fest ends on sunday and we're like the most hated church in the world in the witchcraft realm there'll probably be a whole bunch of them that will show up on that sunday but i'd like them to come sunday night we'll cast them all out in the name of the lord jesus christ they can all get deliverance and get born again hallelujah jesus saves witches too amen he can save them all so there's going to be cauldron fest and kingdom quest i know which one i'm going to be at praise be under god amen so that's going to be on april the 21st on that thursday night it's going to be beautiful we'll give you all the details that you need on that and it's going to be fun but i'm telling you i appreciate a man and woman of god that'll just stick their necks out there and say you know what we're going to bring light to darkness that is beautiful and i'm down with that i'm telling you there are there are 10 preachers in america that would do that if that and you couldn't name eight of them right people just aren't doing it nobody wants to talk about this stuff everybody gets clammed up all of a sudden we want to talk about everything in the world but these things and so we're talking about hundreds of real witches with real spells and real satanism and real wickedness converging at fall creek falls and 17 miles down the road a real gospel tent preaching the truth and the love of the lord jesus christ and we're going to have both kingdoms brought to light at the same time and that's going to be a beautiful meeting and i applaud you dear man of god for being willing to have the courage and our church will stand beside you not just to send me and others there if you need anything if you don't you go one dime in the hole for that meeting we will sponsor you any way that we possibly can and we will help amen church all right john chapter number seven is where we are tonight we're going to uh to finish up going through the gospels i told you that i purposely diverted from the book of john we went all the way through matthew all the way through mark all the way through luke and we've been many various other places in both the old and new testament as we've been talking about the idea of deliverance and so tonight i want to conclude the gospels because john is much more different theologically than matthew mark and luke all combined matthew mark and luke are what we historically call synoptic gospels meaning by that they all see the same thing they talk about the same message that's what the theological word synoptic means they all wrote about many of the same characteristics they just had different details and eyewitness narratives of it well john is totally different john comes from a much more rich theological perspective and so he's going to shift gears when he talks about demonism and demonology and in john you do not see any healings and any deliverance from demons what you see is that jesus talks about the major demon the devil himself and so john is all about satan john is all about exposing the leader of the kingdom of darkness and there's really only a few references four or five of them that i have found in the book of john that we quickly want to go through tonight and so we'll finish this particular part of the series and so tonight is deliverance from demons part six all right 25 or so messages in but deliverance from demons part six and that'll get us through all four of the gospels father bless these moments that we have may the holy spirit take the holy bible and give us a heart and a passion to be holy people keep us from distractions bless those that work with the children and those that work with the teenagers and father may you be glorified and all that's said and done use this message right now in this room and to many thousands of people that are watching and also we'll watch later and tonight help us to understand that there's still freedom in jesus christ and whose name we pray and all of god's people said all right john chapter number seven these are going to be some unusual context some very unusual narratives some of them longer than others because again not one time does jesus go about in the book of john delivering people from demonic activity more so he is con he is basically criticized if you will condemned for having demonic activity the church world looked at jesus and said you are of the devil you have a demon the same thing they said about the madman john the baptist and so it's a very different perspective but i want you to see it john chapter number 7 notice please verse number 19. jesus said did not moses give you the law and he's talking to religious people and yet none of you keep at the law he said it's interesting that you have a bible and you don't even obey it you have a law that you don't even obey you brag about moses and don't even do what moses told you and by the way hypocrisy then and hypocrisy now is the same problem double-mindedness is something that must be dealt with in the church living one way and talking one way i'm telling you it causes the world not to believe us at all and jesus said here's your problem you run your mouth about a law that you don't even follow yourself now those are fighting words to the church world but he just used them so he said you don't even keep the law so watch this why go ye about to kill me jesus said why do you want to do away with me which by the way they did there's a number of occasions that the bible says the holy spirit conveyed jesus away he had this invisibility characteristic if you will there's one time they brought him to the edge of town and the bible said that they were going to push him off a cliff but his time had not yet come he turned around rebuked them and walked right through the crowd because there's only one way that jesus was going to die because he was the lamb slain before the foundation of the world he couldn't die by being choked he wasn't going to die falling off a cliff it wasn't going to be in a water ski an accident jesus had to go to the cross and he knew that so he said look why do you want to kill me before my time why are you so angry about the things that i'm saying watch this verse 20 the people answered and said thou hast a devil same word for demon you got a demon now watch this who goeth about to kill thee so not only did they criticize him and say you have a demon they actually theologically gave us one of the frameworks for how demons operate why did they think jesus had a demon because they said oh you're saying that we're going about to kill you and they were talking about this spirit of paranoia were you so paranoid about and i'm here to tell you demons will make you have a spirit of fear because god's not giving you the spirit of fear but a power level of a sound mind and i'm here to tell you fear has torment and paranoia is a big problem in the church and the spirit of fear is the number one demonized individual in the church it is the one thing that causes people to make more foolish decisions and have more sleepless nights and ruin more marriages and they said you know what your problem is you have a demon because you're filled with paranoia thinking we're going to kill you when we're not doing any such thing and so they accused him of having a demon now it's interesting last night we met the spirit of paranoia we met the spirit of fear and it was the biggest crybaby [__] i've messed with since we've been doing deliverance god's honest truth we had men that were there so here i am preaching i'm in an outdoor event and most of the time nine times out of 10 and this will help people watch it online i don't do deliverance when i travel because a lot of the churches i preach in are not to the place where we are where they do deliverance and understand deliverance and i always want to respect the house where i'm preaching and not come in and tear the thing up so if the pastor doesn't understand deliverance i'm not going to be doing it but sometimes people are just desperate and i mean it's not like you got to go through a five-hour process you know they need some help and you need it right then well this woman walked up her name was rachel she walked up and she said i have panic attacks i'm dealing with fear and paranoia i can't sleep at night and you could just see it in her eyes and i mean she was just blown up like a bullfrog in her spirit and i mean she was just ready to take off and i said okay this ain't gonna take very long i said so we need to deal with this right now i started calling out that spirit of fear in the name of the lord jesus christ and i mean she got to squallin and she got to crying and she got the whimpering and she said i want this thing out of me so bad it's got to go and i'm telling you she sat down in a chair and it was the craziest thing as much as she wanted that spirit of fear and paranoia to get out all of a sudden she started welling up crying real big and that silly [__] fight demon said i don't want to leave i don't want to leave i said you little [__] you coming out right now you cry baby get out in jesus name and i put my hand on her head i said now rachel honey i'm not talking to you i'm not calling you a [__] you little [__] get out right now i don't want to leave i said you going to get out and i'm thinking to myself paranoia is a real deal of fear is a real deal and they accused jesus of having a demon because they said you're nothing but a paranoid individual and they accused jesus of all people of heaven the devil but then flip over to chapter 8 of the book of john john chapter 8 verse 39 this is just going to be some crash course just real skim the top of the surface and keep rocking lot here they answered and said unto him abraham is our father now they're meaning that in a religious sense jesus said unto them if ye were abraham's children ye would do the works of abraham so again he's saying you talk about abraham but don't even do what the man taught you to do but now you seek to kill me a man that hath told you the truth and not much has changed in the church world people still want to kill you when you tell them the truth which i have heard of god this did not abraham ye do the deeds of your father now look at me for a moment they said abraham is our father he said oh you're going to bring up father let's talk about who your real father is because it ain't abraham let's talk about who your real daddy is who's your daddy he's about to show you right here then said they to him we be not born of fornication we have one father even god jesus said them if god were your father you would love me you know years ago uh one of the big magazines interviewed ozzy osbourne and said uh what do you think about god he said i don't have any trouble with god i believe in god it's jesus i got problems with you've got problems with jesus you go into hell because you don't get to god unless you do it through the lord jesus christ john 14 6. that's what the bible said so he said if you really had god as your father you'd love me for i proceeded forth and came from god neither came i of myself but he sent me verse 43 why do you not understand my speech even because you cannot hear my word he said your heart is dull to what i'm telling you so now he's going to talk about who their real father is verse 44 ye are of your father the out loud next word devil said you're of your father the devil it's not that you're just under the spell of demonic activity and spiritual warfare influence no you are under the influence of your father you are lost you are born into sin and you are of your father the devil and notice the description of this devil and the lusts of your father so he's filled with lust ye will do he was a murderer so he loves to kill people from the beginning and abode not in the truth why because there's no truth in him when he speaketh a lie notice he does not say he always speaks a lie because the devil will tell the truth when it suits him in order to propagate a lie because even false prophets will tell some truth to lure you in with the lie that they're telling he said when he speaks a lie he speaks of his own for he is a liar and the father of it he is a liar and the father just in one verse we see that the results of somebody that's under demonic activity is murderous rage lying right here deception it's right in the context he is a liar and he continually lies and he murders and he steals people peace it's what he does he said you are of your father the devil now watch this verse 45 and because i tell you the truth you believe me not which of you convinceth me of sin and if i say the truth why do you not believe me he that is of god heareth god's words ye therefore hear them not because you are not of god he says you know why you don't believe the bible because you don't have a heart for god and let me just say you know why the american church don't believe the bible because it's filled to overflow with people that walked an house sign a card prayed a prayer and they never been born again one natural day in their life they have no heart for god therefore they don't care anything about the bible and when they hear the bible it makes them angry and rather than convict them it erupts them into rage because they're angry at the truth because they can't handle the truth and if you hate the truth you'll always hate the people that tell you the truth verse 48 then answered the jews and said unto him say we not well that thou art a samaritan they wouldn't even consider him a jew and hast a what devil he just said you are of your father the devil and they said oh no contremo freyr you are of the devil you've got a devil that's like twice now just in john they accused jesus of being demonized you have a devil jesus answered i have not a devil he's like i got no demons but i honor my father and ye do dishonor me and i seek not mine own glory there is one that seeketh and judgeth verily verily i say unto you if a man keep my saying he shall never see death now watch this verse 52 then said the jews unto him now we know that thou has the devil they said man you preaching some crazy off the rocker stuff now we know you're demonized we know that thou hast the devil because abraham is dead and the prophets and thou sayest if a man keep my saying he shall never taste of death notice how they tried to literally demonize jesus only because he told them the truth and i'm here to tell you you can fit that in any narrative in context you want to because that's exactly how people still respond today when you try to tell them the truth they will never demonize themselves they will always demonize the messenger and they said oh you say we are of our father the devil you say that we're demonized that we have devils oh absolutely not i'm rubber you're glue whatever you say outside of me and sticks to you remember the old bus days back in the day my daddy's bigger than your daddy my mom was cooler than your mama well that's what these boys were playing it was a game it was an elementary game and they said oh no you are the one that has a devil and they considered jesus to be demonized simply because he was trying to tell them the truth and i find it interesting we've said this a number of times in this series on deliverance that two things are true about expelling devils number one they still respond to the name of jesus today as they did 2000 years ago when jesus called them out they still respond the exact same way but not only do the devil still respond the same way the people that see it transpire they still respond the same way too oh my goodness we cannot believe that you are willing to allow this to take place on our clean carpet and i'm thinking i can't believe it took me 30 years to figure out the truth of the bible and preach the full gospel of jesus christ so take that for what it's worth but then flip over to john chapter 10. john chapter number 10 look at verse number 10. this is a veiled reference meaning by that it's a little bit more shadowy of a figure but we understand the narrative and the context with which jesus is speaking he says the thief because that's all he does is steal you do realize that the devil cannot create anything he can only imitate and distort and molest what god's already created the devil cannot create he only imitates that's why one day there's going to be a man that is possessed by the devil that the world calls the anti-christ he wants to do everything opposite of what jesus does so watch this verse 10 the thief cometh not but here's why the thief shows up but for to steal and to kill and to destroy now he just said in chapter 8 that the devil is a murderer has been from the very beginning and he says right here that this thief that comes in another way this enemy this demonic attack this devil he comes for three reasons steal kill and destroy his tactics have not changed one bit in all these years did you know the number one the number one goal of a demon is to steal your peace that's it that's the number one goal now they want glory because they don't want god to get it they want to divert it for themselves but they want to steal and rob your peace that's why folks can't sleep at night that's why some of you come to a church service and you're restless and nervous as a long-tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs they've stole your peace you can't pray you can't read your bible you're always bad and upset and ticked off about something don't even know why they stole your peace the devil's a thief he wants to steal your peace but he says clearly in the same context that i came to give you peace i came to give you life and life more abundantly not life more redundantly the devil's about the redundant life jesus is about the abundant life and so he says he came to steal and to kill and again the bible references him as a murderer we know that there is this spirit of murder this spirit of rebellion the spirit of the age this spirit of the antichrist and the bible says the devil comes to kill and do you understand that every single time jesus met somebody that was demonically possessed there was these strange manifestations where the devil tried to burn a boy try to drown the boy try to make a guy cut himself the devil wants to destroy and kill you okay when demons inhabit your body they are not concerned about your body they're concerned about their well-being that's it that's why people harm themselves that's why there's a spirit of suicide and a spirit of murder and a spirit of self-harm and when you start calling out people slither like snakes on the floor you know why because the devil wants to steal and he wants to kill he wants to kill you he wants to kill you do you hear me that's what the devil wants the devil wants death jesus wants life but then he said and to destroy you see if he cannot kill your body he will destroy your marriage he'll destroy your finances he's called the destroyer in the bible for a reason but in the same context of john 10 flip over and look at verse 19 because it continues there was a division therefore among the jews for these sayings and many of them said he hath a devil they can't help themselves it's like the third time in one book he has a devil now notice why they thought he had a devil and what they assumed to be a manifested work of a demon he hath the devil and is what mad he's a lunatic which by the way is a direct result of a spirit that manifests in people's life it's amazing to me in mass deliverance one of the things we have to drill down into every week it's always six times it'll happen the next 67 times we do it we always have to go back in the manual which is right here we always have to go back in this manual and when we're dealing with spirits of arrested development we always have to go back and call again spirits of insanity madness and schizophrenia always now i know what your doctor says and i don't care what the news media says so you just settle in because i'm preaching a minute i did that last night and the mic went out praise god but nonetheless i know what your doctor says you know why some of you have demonic activity you've given them legal authority because you believe the medical diagnosis huh you believe the medical diagnosis he said we have brother live you're not a doctor nope not even a nurse yet i do have a phd preach hellfire damnation every time i can but i'm gonna tell you something some of you have given the devil legal authority and grounds and rights to your life because you believe the medical diagnosis when a doctor looks you in the face and says well what you have is bipolar disorder what you have is a spirit that needs to be cast out so you can have some peace is what you've got multiple personality disorder it's demonization is what it is one thousand percent i don't care what the newspaper says we see it every week did you know that we could go to a a crazy house right now i'm talking about a a padded party room people slobbered on themselves can't feed themselves messing all over wetting all over themselves moaning screaming crying and all they do is keep them doped up on medication and keep them worse get them off that medication for about 45 hours and let me in the deliverance team walk up in one of them crazy houses with some bibles and some anointing oh and i'm telling you we can cast out the spirit of multiple personality insanity madness the lunatic spirit there's a man in mark chapter number five that was a maniac and god healed him so look don't come at me with all your medical terminology nonsense i believe what the bible says i don't care what sister wiggle jaw and dr bottlestopper says huh well we have to believe everything the doctor says that's why churches shut down during covet because they believed everything doctors said ((applause)) and now you don't hear anything about that nonsense now it's all gone it'll be back during midterms don't worry it'll be back it'll be back don't get me started they said you're mad you're a lunatic you've got a devil well i hear ye him verse 21 others said i find this interesting these are not the words of him that hath the devil they're like he don't talk like a guy that's got a devil y'all might not like what he's saying but he doesn't sound real demonized to me these aren't the words of somebody that's running around talking to the devil now watch this can a devil open the eyes of the blind now again the devil can counterfeit miracles but he could never create them but he can counterfeit them he can make them look good do you know why there's a cauldron fest because the devil offers people power and they see that power and the devil's got a great form of power but he doesn't have all power jesus has all power he said all power was given to him in heaven and earth and we've been given all power and authority over the enemy and nothing shall any wise hurt you we shall tread on serpents and scorpions the bible says and so it's very clear they're like wait uh he doesn't look like he's doing the works of the devil to me can a devil open the eyes of the blind you know i was studying something the other day i don't have time to get on all of this this is a whole nother spiritual aspect of this idea of deliverance but there are some people that are deceived by people that claim to be in the ministry of deliverance and they're really under nothing more than the spirit of divination and they're pretending to be prophetic but they're operating under a false spirit and sometimes what they say is even correct but they're operating under that python acts 16 16 spirit of divination and here's what i'm finding out about people like like witches and warlocks and get this been studying this a lot lately which doctors we ain't got very many of them around here but when you start studying them you know what you'll find out the power they have over demonic influence get this they do not have the ability to cast them out but they always have the ability to transfer them to someone else and so they give the perception that they're delivering people from demons when all they're doing is just swapping them to somebody else so be very careful of the people that say they have the ability to do what we've been talking about for months you better try the spirits because not every spirit is of god and we've had people come to our church want to work with our deliverance team and we knew immediately ain't no way this side of hell they gonna work in our deliverance team because they ain't casting out nothing they just transferring from one person to the next and i ain't having it we ain't letting them stick around they coming up all the way up and all the way out in the name of jesus so these people had enough sense to say can a blind man's eyes be opened by a devil but then notice flip over to chapter 13. this is the last reference that's even mentioned in the book of john i told you his word much more theological and he talks only about satan but the people tell him that he has a demon chapter 13 verse 21 very well known passage not often looked at when it comes to the idea of demons and the devil but it needs to be explored verse 21 when jesus had thus said he was troubled in his spirit and testified and said verily verily i say unto you that one of you shall betray me then the disciples looked one on another doubting of whom he spake now there was leaning on jesus's bosom one of his disciples whom jesus loved that's john talking about himself simon peter therefore beckoned to him that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake he then lying on jesus's breast sayeth unto him lord who is it i find it interesting that in the account of matthew everybody's going around the table and they're saying lord is it i is it i is it i you ever noticed that nobody ever said lord is it judas people suspected themselves before they ever suspected judas you let that sink in for a minute people were willing to accuse themselves before they were ever willing to even slightly glance over and accuse judas you know why he wore the same clothes they did he prayed the same prayers they did he preached the same sermons he performed many of the same miracles the guy was the treasurer at the end of the day they trusted him they trusted him and nobody said well yeah we better set low down sorry good for nothing judas we've been noticing he's got shifty eyes jesus no they're all like uh who is it they were floored they were flabbergasted when the truth came out verse 26 jesus answered he it is to whom i shall give a sop when i have dipped it basically when i dip in the bowl the bread and when he had dipped the sop he gave it to judas iscariot the son of simon and after the salt satan entered into him tell me that's not demonization right there satan entered into him then said jesus unto him that thou doest do it quickly now look i ain't gonna take up for judas although they all did i i understand the theological ramifications of what judas did and so did he which by the way went out and killed himself because he was full of so much grief he had a worldly sorrow but not a godly sorrow unto repentance first corinthians teaches us so i'm not going to justify what this cat did but i will justify what the text says about him he would have never gone through with it had the devil not convinced him of it you let that rich theological framework just kind of settle into your belly for a minute this guy walked with jesus more than all of us combined forgot more bible than greg locke will ever know a day in his life heard the best preaching on the planet heard such glorious prayers that the only things the disciples ever requested of jesus was lord teach us to pray that's what they wanted his prayers were amazing oh to hear jesus pray what a night that must have been they heard it he watched him cast out devils on so many occasions that the holy spirit sometimes says many devils came out couldn't even tell us a number there were so many he saw him calm the sea walk on the water feed the multitudes he saw him cleanse the temple twice if you read the bible saw him feed multitudes twice if you read the gospels one for five thousand one for four thousand plus the women and children he saw all of it he heard every syllable that fell from the lips of jesus on the sermon of the mouth blessed blessed blessed he heard it all wrote the checks made the deposits booked the ships and the boats and rendered everything they were going to need to get to the next destination and he would have never done what he did had it not been for the spiritual influence of the devil and it was when the devil entered into him and sometimes you wonder how can church people do such crazy evil things they would never do it without the domineering influence of a demon now i'm gonna say one thing and we're gonna go to one passage and we're gonna be finished 90 of the problems the perceptibility problems with deliverance ministry would be overcome if you would stop letting people tell you that a christian cannot have a demon i'm sick of it i'm tired of it okay now there's a theological underpinning i could explain all of that so so here's here's what i want to do i'm going to do this way less forceful than i did last time but i think it's important that we we understand the the biblical theological framework of making a statement like that because that flies in the face of modern christianity understand right do you know i had julian delete a video on youtube that i found from two years ago i didn't know how i found it it popped up and i had him delete a video on youtube because i took like eight and a half to ten minutes in this message trying to convince you and myself with no bible that a christian could never have a demonic influence i said delete the video that was hogwash i was wrong that was not correct and so here's my deal all these people that hate us so much on youtube where are they i mean they do videos like how the mighty have fallen but they don't theologically show me how the mighty have fallen quick luck believes that christians can have demons okay here's the deal okay we'll be very subdued calm kind sweet genteel listen sir i don't care who it is i'm not the greatest theologian in the world but i study the bible and the holy spirit's a really good teacher i'm i'm not demanding i'm requesting because i need some help okay i'm requesting i don't care if you're a baptist i don't care if you're pentecostal i don't care if you're a church of god if you're a no name if you're a bible church if you're a phd if you're a theologian if you're a wannabe theologian if you're a facebook theologian i don't care if you're a calvinist an armenian listen i don't care how long you've read the bible here's what i'm begging i'm begging somebody to take me up on this we will pay your flights we will pay your car hundreds of christians that we've seen delivered from demonic activity and called all them liars at the same time because we are willing to watch and see what you only want to ignore and criticize so at the end of the day here we are all the way through matthew all the way through mark all the way through luke all the way through john where we're going to go to ephesians 2 1-3 and talk about the
