FORWARD CITY CHURCH | ONLINE EXPERIENCE | PASTORS TRAVIS AND JACKIE GREENE ONLINE SERVICE ((music playing)) >> Hey Forward City online campus is Pastor Jim. I'm so glad that you came across this link ((music playing)) this morning. No matter where you're watching from, welcome home. Drop a location pin in the ((music playing)) chat and let us know where in the world you're watching from. We have Germany, South Africa, Trinidad, Tobago, California, Texas, all of them. So, we want to shout out the great state of ((music playing)) Georgia today. If you're in Georgia watching from the Atlanta area or Savannah, ((music playing)) Calvin, I know you're in Savannah, or Augusta, Georgia, or whatever. Maybe you're from some small little town nobody's ever heard of. Those are the best ones. Put it in the chat. We'd ((music playing)) love to know where you're watching from all over the world. And while we're doing shout-outs, I got to shout out our great phenomenal ((music playing)) 40 people strong online campus city team. ((music playing)) That's right. You heard me. Right on the other side of this screen, there's 40 busy ((music playing)) people working to make sure that Forward City online campus happens every Sunday. ((music playing)) So, want to shout out you guys. We love you. We couldn't do this without you. >> ((music playing)) >> And it's going to be a great Sunday. A couple of things that you can expect while you're here, if it's your first time watching. ((music playing)) Number one, we're a worshiping church. We actually are in the process of putting out some new music. Maybe you heard a couple of those songs over the last couple Sundays. Maybe you even tuned in on New Year's Eve to catch the live recording. >> ((music playing)) >> But I want to encourage you, keep learning these lyrics as they pop up on the screen in the lower thirds. ((music playing)) Make sure that you catch on to these to these tunes, the melody line, and just ((music playing)) sing offer these songs up to the Lord as an offering as you prepare your heart to receive the word. Number two, we're a giving church. So, ((music playing)) scan this QR code for all the ways to give. At Forward City, we give to give. In other words, ((music playing)) we don't give to get. We're not in some like I give a little so you so I can receive from God. But what we do know is that his word is true. And that if we obey him with our tithes, which means the top 10%, ((music playing)) he's going to pour out a blessing that we cannot even receive. ((music playing)) So, I would encourage you to give today. I believe it's even big gift Sunday ((music playing)) today. Actually, right now is the moment that we've set aside on January 25th ((music playing)) to bring our big gift to the Lord. We've been praying into it all these past 21 ((music playing)) days of prayer and fasting. And so, as you're preparing that to offer to the Lord, let me just ((music playing)) pray over your gifts. And while I'm praying, I want you to write down what it is that God's saying to you. Maybe a word for the year. Maybe ((music playing)) a relationship that you're believing for restoration. Maybe it's a miracle, a healing, a deliverance that you're expecting. ((music playing)) This is the moment where we're putting our seed into the ground >> ((music playing)) >> and letting God do the rest. So, let me pray over these gifts. God, we thank ((music playing)) you even now in Jesus' name as we're presenting our offering to you, which is above our tithe. ((music playing)) It's it's above and beyond. And so, as we lay this down at the altar, I pray that you do a work in our hearts ((music playing)) and prepare us for every good work that you want to do. In Jesus' name, amen. >> ((music playing)) >> Amen. And listen, last but not least, we're a church that goes deep in the word. We've ((music playing)) been in an incredible series called Winds of Revival north, south, east, and west. I hope that you're taking notes. Listen, while you're here, I would encourage you, if you've never liked ((music playing)) it, push the thumbs up, like this video, subscribe, hit the bell notifications, all ((music playing)) of those things. It does a lot for you, yes, and it'll notify you every time we upload new content, ((music playing)) but it also helps us, helps the logarithm, and it helps our goal of reaching 100,000 ((music playing)) subscribers this year. Listen, now's that time that we've been waiting on. I would encourage you, if you're in the bedroom, the living room, maybe you're cooking breakfast and watching ((music playing)) this at the same time, just do me a favor. Turn up the volume and worship out loud no matter where you are. In the car, in the gym, just go crazy. Do not turn down your volume for anyone, all right? Forward City, let's worship. ((music playing)) >> ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> Forward City, did you come to bless the name of the Lord this morning? >> ((music playing)) >> Bible says in his presence is fullness of joy. If you believe it this morning, can I hear you make a shout of praise? Hallelujah. Family, thank y'all so much for joining us for online church today. Man, y'all already know I'm bummed out because I love nothing more than gathering with the people of God and lifting up the name of Jesus. But >> ((music playing)) >> due to technology, we can still do that. So, thank God for that. Um, wherever you are around the world watching, do me a favor. ((music playing)) Gather your family together. We're going to have an amazing and intentional time together today. Today is ((music playing)) a big Sunday for us at Forest City Church because it is our annual big gift ((music playing)) Sunday. And so all over the past several months we've been praying and pursuing God and asking him what we should give him to honor [snorts] him just for his faithfulness, but also to put seed in the ground for expectation. ((music playing)) You know, the Bible is very clear that God gives seed to the sower. When not only does he give seed to those who are willing to sow, ((music playing)) but he's also the Lord of the harvest. And so this is good news. It means that God determines the weather and he determines when it's harvest time. And I believe in my heart that this is going to be one of the most significant years for you 2026. So you got to get ahead of it and put seed in the ground. And what better time to put seed in the ground than when we have an open sky. I believe man, an open sky is wasted if you don't have an open ground. You should have something for the outpour to be able to rain on. This week and we had a phenomenal time together for pursuit night. Six hours of prayer. And so we invited the people of God to come out Friday to pursue the presence of God. But not only that, because we weren't sure what the weather would be like >> ((music playing)) >> this Sunday, we allowed people to have an early time of putting the seed in the ground for big gift. And the Lord gave us a prophetic declaration >> ((music playing)) >> for our big gift. I'm going to share it with you for a moment and in case you missed Friday, I want you to be able to feel the power of the atmosphere. But also, ((music playing)) if you wanted to give in person and weren't allowed to do that on this Sunday, no worry. We'll be collecting big gifts every Sunday moving forward. But over the next few Sundays we're going to have a specific time ((music playing)) where we're going to do this big gift declaration together and just believing God with you, with your family. ((music playing)) And we're partnering with your faith to believe that the best is yet to come. So go ahead, whatever your method of giving is, there's information ((music playing)) right here on the screen below and throughout the service you'll have an opportunity to give as well. ((music playing)) But right now specifically your big gift, we've been given envelopes over the past few weeks for you to be able to take home and pray over them. And right now your expectation and what it is that you're believing God for. And I want you to get those envelopes now. Want you to get your method of giving and go ahead and lift it to the sky. And we are going to announce this declaration together. I want y'all to shout this with me with those gifts up. This is my revival year. This is my revival year. We sound like an army. We sound like Africa in here, Prophet Kofi. This is my revival year. THIS IS MY REVIVAL YEAR. LORD, [screaming] LORD, I receive I receive your wind your wind over my finances. over my finances. GOD, WE ((music playing)) DECLARE MIRACLES, SIGNS, and wonders. THAT GOD HEALING AND BREAKTHROUGH. THAT FATHER, YOU CAN DO THE IMPOSSIBLE. >> ((music playing)) >> SAY WHEN I pray, MOUNTAINS MOVE. SAY WHEN I PRAY, [laughter] ANGELS ASCEND AND DESCEND. GOD HEARS MY PRAYERS. WHAT A NIGHT. WHAT A NIGHT. And the crazy part is that God is just getting started. I'm [snorts] so proud of this church. I'm so proud of our maturity. >> [clears throat] >> Man, six hours >> ((music playing)) >> of prayer. That's it. We just pursued the presence of God. And actually went over. It was closer to eight hours. And and people were hungry and they didn't want to leave and just the power in the presence of God. We saw miracles literally manifest right before our eyes. And we saw people just give their heart and surrender to a God who is in love with them. I'm excited about what God is doing at Forest City Church. Man, I'm excited because right around the corner is Permission Conference 2026. ((music playing)) There is not a women's gathering that is more powerful than Permission Conference. This is my personal vote. And I want you to make sure that you register, get your crew together, go ahead and get your travel plans ready because God is going to meet us. Check out this ((music playing)) video. This is your moment. No more holding back. No more waiting for permission. You already have it. From the very beginning God marked you. He called you out ((music playing)) and gave you authority to live free. A freedom that changes the way you move, the way you speak, >> ((music playing)) >> and the way you show up to fulfill purpose. Whether you're currently on a mountain top of victory or navigating ((music playing)) the depths of a valley because life hit hard, I want you to know some seasons demand a response. Some doors don't wait. If you've been feeling that tug, I need you to lean all the way in. Join me for Permission 26 where women that are desperate ((music playing)) and devoted will declare and surrender nevertheless. If God placed >> ((music playing)) >> the vision and the passion on the inside of you, that means THAT YOU MAY NOT be qualified, but sister, ((music playing)) you are called. I said it won't leave you there. When you leave this room, the love of God, it won't >> ((music playing)) >> leave you at the bottom. But I am raising up a people ((music playing)) who will no longer stand in the dark as the defense, but who will rise up and become the prosecution. The Holy Ghost attends wherever Jesus is preached. ((music playing)) So so you give people Jesus, you better know that the Holy Spirit will show up. The original qualification for leading worship had nothing to do with gifting or talent or stage presence or charisma. It had everything to do with reverence. God ((music playing)) wants you to be empowered. It's one thing to have permission. It's another thing to have power. This conference, hear me, is not Dr. Jackie's conference. This is your conference. I know we search all over the world ((music playing)) for the thing THAT WE ALREADY HAVE. BUT TONIGHT WE'RE GOING TO STAND FLAT-FOOTED IN LOVE. CUZ HE LOVES YOU. HE LOVES YOU. OH, HOW [screaming] HE LOVES YOU. AMEN. WE'RE GOING TO jump right into our message time together. Ezekiel 37. For those of you don't know, we have been literally in a revival, a move of God, an undeniable move of God. But it really has been sparked by a revelation that the Lord shared with us. And um our word for the year here at Forest City is winds of revival. And it comes from this passage in it Ezekiel 37. I'm going to read 10 verses for you and then we'll unpack a little bit of what this is saying. Says, "The hand of the Lord was on me. He brought me out by the spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley. It was full of bones. He led me back and forth among them. I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. They'd been there for a while. He asked me, 'Son of man, can these bones live?' I said, 'Sovereign Lord, you alone know.' Then he said to me, 'Prophesy to these bones and say to them, "Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones. I will make breath enter you and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin. I will put breath in you and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord. So I prophesied as I was commanded. Now as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound. And the bones came back together, bone to bone. I looked and tendons of flesh appeared on them. And skin covered them, but there was no breath in them. Then he said to me, "Prophesy to the breath. Prophesy, son of man, and say to it, 'This is what sovereign Lord says. Come, breath, from the four winds, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.'" So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them. They came to life and stood up on their feet, a vast army. We have been in this series of conversations called Winds of Revival, and um again, it's sparked from this encounter, this vision that Ezekiel has. He's in exile um in Babylon, and the Lord visits him there. Bible says he's by the river, and the the heavens open, and the Lord gives him and start downloading a vision to him. And all throughout Ezekiel, God requires him uh to really become a symbol of what is going to happen to the nation. Um literally, this is a great lesson because it teach us that before you have to preach it, you have to live it. And Lord called him to be a watchman um even before he gave him the vision and the prophetic declarations of Ezekiel 47, he had to stand on the wall and watch in the spirit. And that's just like the Lord, he'll call you to assess something before you start dealing with it or even speaking to it. Perhaps you found yourself in a season where it's like, "Man, where's God, and why am I here?" Maybe he has you there as the watchman in order to accurately assess what it is that is in need, and what it is that he wants to do. I don't think there's any uh irony attached to the fact that Ezekiel is in exile when this happens. I think that's actually prophetic, and I think it teach us something. But sometimes the Lord will call a season of uh separation before elevation, desperation before revelation. And I believe the Lord has him here on exile on purpose, for purpose. And sometimes even in our lives, we'll find ourselves in a place, in a position that we don't want to be in. I promise you Ezekiel didn't want to be in an exile. I promise you John did not want to be on the island of Patmos. I promise you Paul did not want to be in prison. But sometimes the Lord will put us in unexpected and even undesired circumstances in order to get us right where he wants us, in order to show us a thing, to give us proper vision. Vision is being able to see the hand of the Lord in whatever situation you're in. And maybe God's not in a rush to get you out of it. David writes in ancient verses, he says, "Yea, though I walk through the valley." I wish he would have said, "Man, I get to run through, skip through, jog through." But he said walk through, and I think even this pace is the Lord trying to tell us that maybe he's not in a rush to get us out of our low place, but it's even there that he wants to teach us that he's our shepherd. Even there he wants to teach us that he had a plan for bones. And the Lord brings Ezekiel to this place, and he gives him this vision. And I I I teach here at Four City Church, you can't just read a Bible, you have to read the Bible. I I believe that these four winds represent something. Now of all the things he could have spoken to after he prophesied to the bones, and after there's a rattling, and after the tendons and the flesh come on them, the Lord says, "Prophesy to the breath." Command the four winds. The four winds, where are the four winds? North, South, East, and West. And so I started praying, and I said, "God, what what do these four winds represent?" And God responded that he's always saying what he said. And so I went into the Bible and started digging into, "Man, where were these four winds active in the scripture?" And there's so many different revelations, and I'm not saying this is the only thing that what the Lord showed me is in totality the only thing the four winds represent. But I do think prophetically it does give us a recipe for revival. The guy gives us a cheat code. It's found in Second Chronicles 7:14, "If my people" if if is conditional "if my people" which means you can miss revival if you aren't willing to follow this. But if my people, my people, this word revival is for the people of God. This Bible is for the people of God. Ezekiel is standing in the valley of dry bones prophetically declaring something to the people of God. "If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves." This uh idea of humility is not being humble in the eyes of man, but being humble in the eyes of God. In other words, man can think that you're humble because you have manners. Man can think that you're humble because you open the door, that you say thank you, or that you're kind. It's not the same way that God defines humility. Humility in the eyes of God is someone who understands that they need help. It is dependency on the presence of God. As a matter of fact, I heard one guy say this before, Pastor Sam Oye. He says, "Our lack of prayer is really our declaration of independence. But our prayer we're saying, 'God, I don't need you.'" And he said, "If my people will humble themselves, remember that they need him, humble themselves, and pray." So let me know in Four City Church, for 21 days we have been fasting and praying, pursuing the Lord, consecrating. I love he said, "Humble yourself and pray and seek my face." He could have just said pray and pray {comma}, but he said, "And seek my face." Because these are really two different things. You could pray, meaning you can have a posture of surrender to God, but seek my face is a step further. This is what fasting is. This is what consecration is. This is not just prayer time, but this is time dedicated, a season even, dedicated to the Lord. Saying, "Hey, I don't want to be drifted by distractions, but I want to be locked in on exactly what you're saying to my heart, to my family, to my church, to my city, to my region. And I want to have my ears exclusively tuned to you." What I'm learning even in these 21 days is that consecration is not just even a seasonal thing, but really is a lifestyle. It was Paul who said, "Present your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to the Lord, which is a reasonable act of service, a reasonable act of worship." That worship is not a song, it's a lifestyle. Prayer is not an activity, it's a lifestyle. It's something that, man, I can live a consecrated life. Can you imagine? Can you imagine how undistracted you would be if you limited social media? Can you imagine? It always blows my mind when I step away seasonally from social media, typically during these 21 days, that I'm not aimlessly scrolling or being nosy, how just open I am, and how sure I am, and then how much clarity I have, and how much vision I have, how undistracted I am. And I'm thinking, "If I can do this for 21 days, maybe I should just live like this. Maybe I should be less nosy and more locked in on what God is saying to me." Uh it's a consecrated life. What would your life look like instead of turning to Netflix just because you can know or just so you can know the series that everyone's talking about. Did you actually spend time in the word of God? I'll tell you, man, you'll be sharp. You will be untouchable. You will be a dangerous force in the kingdom of God. This is a consecrated life that he's inviting us in, y'all, where we can live a life of focus, a life of dedication. It's not just turned on and turned off. This is not just 21 days. I asked the Lord, and I know many of you have too, and I said, "God, I've been enjoying you so much these 21 days." I'm just joking a little bit. But I've been enjoying you so much in these 21 days, and man, I don't want to miss this. And he said, "You don't have to." This is not something that is just 21 days in January. But man, for 365 days, you can This is what Paul said, "Pray without ceasing, man." See, I can continue. I don't have to reserve my my prayer for pursuit night. I don't have to reserve my passion for Sunday mornings. Man, I can live a passionate life before the Lord. And this is what this idea of revival is all about. Let's jump into it. Four winds. First, the north wind. North wind. The reason we call this the wind of repentance is because something happens in Jeremiah chapter 3. Bible says in Jeremiah chapter 3:12, Jeremiah, who was another prophet along the same time as Ezekiel was there, proph- Jeremiah is in a different territory prophesying. And here's just something um from my theological nerd, Daniel is actually there at the same time as well. Daniel is prophesying from the palace. Uh Ezekiel is prophesying from exile. That's why over and over Ezekiel is saying, "Man, I'm amongst the people." But Jeremiah wrote something. This is in the same era, actually a little before Ezekiel. He warned the people that an exile was on the way, and they're like, "No, it's all right. Be quiet." And then a a bunch of other false prophets are like, "Uh it's not It's going to be fine. It's going to be a little bit." And he's like, "No, it's going to be a while. It's going to be like 70 years. It's going to be bad. This is way worse than y'all think it is." And they silence him, and they beat him up, and and they believe that uh Jeremiah goes to Egypt in order to escape before exile happens um uh almost as a as like a refugee. But Jeremiah says this in Jeremiah 3:12, he said, "Proclaim to the north, return return." This word repent, the reason we call it the wind of repentance because this word repent in the Old Testament literally translates to return or to turn. Repentance is not regret, repentance is redirection. I know I have a repentant heart not when I'm just sorrowful for what I've done, but when I allow the word of God and the spirit of God to cause transformation to happen, not just behavior modifications, those temporary, but heart transformation that is lasting. This is why the word repent in the New Testament literally means a change of mind. Paul writes, "Don't conform to this world, but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind." My renewal, when my mind is renewed, transformation begins to happen again, from the inside out. And this This what repentance is, it's turning a return back to a posture of worship. Hey, I just want to show you this quick clip of something that happened right here in Four City Church doing this sermon on the the North Way. Check this out. This is for those who feel called to preach. I want you to hear the words I'm about to say. When God anoints you to preach, many times he force you to live out the sermon. So before Ezekiel could pour out judgment, he had to drink it. Now this is good news for those who've had a question mark on why you had to go through the things you had to go through. I don't have time. Perhaps your survival has qualified you for another level of anointing. Did you know the name Moses was given to him by Pharaoh's daughter? It's an Egyptian name that means drawn from water. Because Moses was found by Pharaoh's daughter floating in a basket on the Nile River. She wasn't very creative. She was like, I drew him from water, Moses. That's your name. She drew him from water. Watch this. The thing Moses was drawn from was the thing he was anointed to walk other people through. Did you hear what I just said? AND PERHAPS GOD allowed you TO BE RESCUED FROM THAT in order for you to walk somebody else through it. DO ME A FAVOR, I'M NOT TRYING TO LOSE THE SERVICE, BUT GRAB YOUR NEIGHBOR BY THE HAND AND TELL THEM, I'VE BEEN QUALIFIED FOR THIS. I DIDN'T GO THROUGH THAT FOR NOTHING. I DIDN'T GO THROUGH THAT pain for nothing. I didn't go through that abandonment for nothing. I DIDN'T GO THROUGH THAT POVERTY FOR NOTHING. I DIDN'T GO THROUGH THAT BETRAYAL ((music playing)) FOR NOTHING. GOD HAS BEEN ANOINTING me for another level that the thing he drew me out of is the thing I'm going to march ((music playing)) other people through. I'm anointed for this. Man, I'm telling you I'm telling you we have been in literal revival here. That's the North Wind. Let's keep moving. The South Wind. The South Wind is the wind of renewal. We call it the wind of renewal because something happens in Acts chapter 27. In Acts chapter 27, Paul is in his journey and as they're journeying the Bible says they have a bunch of resistance by the wind and a gentle South Wind comes and it gives them the push that's necessary. I believe that the South Wind is one that renews you. It gives you a fresh wind, fresh momentum, a push forward. Not only that, but when the Bible talks about the South Wind blowing, often times it's also talking about a wind that that is warm. I believe the South Wind is this is real the reason why I believe the Lord gave us the language renewal because not only does it give you momentum but it also warms the heart that has grown cold. The heart that has grown grown stiff. The renewal wind gives you new life. And we see that all throughout scripture. There's four areas that we dealt with in this message about renewal that I believe the Lord wants to renew. One, he wants to renew the right spirit. David writes in Psalm 51, he says, create in me a clean heart, renew in me the right spirit. The idea of a right spirit means that clearly there are wrong spirits. And wrong spirits have to be tolerated. That's why David said, renew in me a right spirit. Give me a right spirit. What is a right spirit? A right spirit is a willing spirit. It's a moldable spirit. It's a spirit of humility. It's a spirit that says, God, man, I'm satisfied with however you bless me and whatever you desire to do in my life, I want to be where you are. I want to follow you. I'm going to be completely surrendered, completely submitted to you. That is a right spirit. It's a willing spirit, right? Not only does God want to renew your spirit, but he wants to renew your faith. We dealt with this idea of faith fatigue. Faith fatigue comes when sometimes you believe God for something so long and it didn't happen. Or you believe God for so long and that you gave all your faith. You exhausted your faith in the previous season or in a miracle that you want to happen. It's the student who did not do well academically and you used all your faith in order to apply and get accepted into this college. It's the couple that believed in God for a child and all your faith went into God performing a miracle in the woman giving you that baby. It's the pastor like myself and it took all your faith to land on a building for 6 months and God miraculously give you that building. What's something that we don't talk about often is the post miracle, right? It's what happens after I exasperated, I used all of my faith in order for this miracle and then I get to the other side and it's like, man, I feel like I don't have anything left. You, my friend, may be experiencing faith fatigue. The good news is that God wants to renew your faith. This happens, ladies and gentlemen, in a posture of surrender and constant prayer. That's why sometimes you prayed a lot to believe God for the miracle and then after the miracle, what really happened is you got relaxed. Evangelist, man, I prayed every day when my wife was in the hospital for 63 days. Man, you could not stop me from praying. You could not stop me. Man, we were renewing and God gave a miracle. Man, God gave us Jace. I'm praying again because we want Jace to get out of the NICU 61 days. We're praying praying praying. Well, my baby in my wife home. Man, finally I can relax. Yeah, resting in the natural doesn't mean resting in the spirit. Like I'm not just pursuing God for a promise, right? I'm pursuing him for presence and that is a difference. It's a subtle difference, but many times we believe God for the miracle and once he does it, we go into cruise control. We downshift and we say, man, I'm just going to coast from here. And then what happens, the faith what happened with your faith was strengthened because you were pursuing God. Well, as a result of a lack of pursuit is a lack of faith. It's not necessarily a faith that God can't use because God is so faithful, he can even use a small measure of faith. As the Bible says, when we're faithless, he's still faithful. He can't deny himself. Bible says a faith the size of a mustard seed can move a mountain. But imagine what can happen if you have a mountain size faith. I'm not just satisfied with saying what God can do with a little faith. I want to have a life that is full of faith, which means my faith needs to be renewed. Not only does God want to renew your right spirit. Not only does God want to renew your faith. But God is so faithful, he wants to renew your strength. It was Isaiah who wrote in chapter 40. He says, they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. It means you shall have renewed strength, new strength. He goes on to say, man, you'll mount up on wings like eagles. You'll run and not be weary. You'll walk and not faint. Faint. Ladies and gentlemen, that's the strength I want. I want strength to mount up, to be able to rise above anything that could devour me or distract me. I want the strength to be able to have a pace of grace to last and endure, man. You know, there was a quote that says the race is not given to the swift or the strong, but to those who endure. But I want I want enduring faith, right? I want I want strength. I want the strength that's going to last. I don't want to be weary in well doing. Galatians 6:9. But I I want to have the the strength to endure, man, to believe him. The Bible says, be not weary in well doing for in due season you will reap. Here we go. If you faint not. So reaping is not for the perfect person. Reaping is for the one who has the strength to endure. And God wants to renew your strength. Once again, here we go full circle. This strength, this promise, all of these promises are contingent upon a posture of surrender. When I have a surrendered heart I get the renewal wind. That gives me a right spirit. The renewal wind that gives me new faith, renewed faith. The renewal wind that gives me a renewed strength. But not only that, God wants to renew your passion. I love this idea of a renewed passion. It was David who wrote in the same passage in Psalm 51. Even before you get to create me I thought actually it's right after he said, create in me a clean heart, renew in my spirit. He said that he said, man, to restore to me the joy of my salvation. I love this idea. The joy of my salvation. I liken it to how you're so like fascinated or or you're just over the top with a new relationship, right? When you first met that girl or you first met that guy. I can't get enough. I just want to listen to you breathe on the phone. No, you hang up. No, you hang up. No, you hang up, right? And now now you're familiar with them. You've been married for a little bit. It's like I'm hanging up. Bye. >> [laughter] >> I'm driving. Bye. I'm busy. Bye. Right? What happened to that joy that you first had? And many times we have the same thing when it comes to the presence of God or the things of God. Man, I remember when I first got filled with the Holy Spirit. Listen, ladies and gentlemen, I couldn't get enough of church. Seriously, I was the first one there, last one to leave. You can't beat me to church and you're not going to outlast me. There's an interesting verse. We talked about this with tent revival where the Bible says that Joshua, it says this is in Exodus, that man that that Moses would go into the tent meet with God as a friend, face to face. And it said, but when he would leave, Joshua would stay. And I'm like, man, what kind of encounters did Joshua have? I'll tell you. He had the type kind of encounters that did something to him. Joshua didn't just stumble into greatness. Conquerors don't stumble into it. They're developed. And they're developed from this time of being with God. It strengthened his passion, man. Where's your passion? Why are you why are you late to get to church? This is practical. And then why are you so fast to leave? Right? I know we got stuff to do and I'm not trying to condemn you, but I do want to challenge. Where's your heart, man? What what happened to you being on the altar? I remember being on the altar and they had to pick me up. I remember this man in my 20s. I remember my wife being on the altar and we had to carry her out of building. Literally, I can't make this up. Man, this is what passion looks like and I'm asking the Lord not just for the greens, but even for you, that your passion is renewed. This is a renewal wind. This is the South Wind. Hey, here's a quick clip of what happened here at Four City in our message about the South Wind. is not knowing how. Faith is knowing who. The property we've been believing God for and the Lord told me this past week, he said, go march around it seven times. And I said, God, that just seemed like a lot. How long that going to take, Jesus? What if somebody see me, Jesus? What if there's snakes out there, Jesus? God said, boy, I'm trying to renew your faith. You don't have to know how. You don't have to have strategy. You don't have to even be able to afford it. All I need you to do Joshua is obey me. So guys, I pulled up and I just started marching around. And I started praying in the spirit. I got to round four or five, I lost count because somebody interrupted me. A Jewish man walked up on me. He said, "What you doing?" It's true story. I didn't know if he was about to call the cops. I said, "I'm praying." He said, "When you went around the second time, the Lord told me you was out here marching and praying. He said, "Are you spirit-filled?" I said, "As a matter of fact, I am." He said, "Let's pray." HE SAID, "I >> ((music playing)) >> STAND IN AGREEMENT WITH YOU THAT EVERYTHING GOD said is about to be RELEASED IN YOUR LIFE. I CAME TO RENEW YOUR FAITH TODAY. GOD SAID, "BELIEVE me again. I can't GO ((music playing)) FAITH FATIGUE. IF GOD BE FOR YOU, HE'S MORE THAN A WAR TO GET YOU. GRAB YOUR NEIGHBOR AND TELL THEM TO BELIEVE AGAIN. Believe again. Trust again. Speak again. >> ((music playing)) >> March around again. Declare it again." Wow, what a move. I'm telling y'all God has been doing some things significant here. Man, after the north wind, after the south wind, you should get excited because here comes the east wind, the east wind. After repentance and after renewal, there is a wind of removal. And man, we we dealt with this we jumped into this removal is found in Exodus 14. And what the Bible says is that they marched up to this Red Sea and God gives Moses this prophetic word. And he allows them to lift up the staff and the Bible says the Red Sea split and there's a wall of water on the right and on the left. And some scholars believe this wall of water could have been from 50 to 100 ft. That's a lot of wall. That's a lot of water. And so it's one thing to believe that God can open it and it's another thing that I believe that I can walk through it and God can sustain me in the middle. And maybe you're watching today and man, you you have faith and you have like, man, I believe God's going to open the door but can he keep it open? Can he keep you as he's keeping it? And this is Moses. Moses and they marched through. When the Lord started dealing with me about this and many of us missed the point of the Red Sea. The Red Sea was not just a barrier for or a threat for them to return, but it was actually blocking them from them going back for where they were headed. And I just got really rattled because I'm getting a hype in the spirit right now because I need you to catch this. The devil's not as so much worried about you going back. He's not just trying to get you to backslide. I don't know if you know this or not, even this idea of being backslidden is not really an idea of going backwards. This idea came from really when they were trying to move donkeys who were who are very stubborn. And donkeys said, "I'm not going to walk. I'm stopping." So the backslide does not mean to go back, it means to stop. And maybe you've been walking with God for a a while but you've lacked progression. You just stopped moving forward. And so the Lord man, this this threat of the Red Sea wasn't just I know Pharaoh's army was coming. The devil didn't care about that. What the devil was scared about was them making it to Canaan. It wasn't just the return to Egypt, it was what was laying before them. And that's why he was chasing them. That's the fear ladies and gentlemen. The devil is very scared of you maturing, for you being everything that God called you to do. Man, he's scared of what's on the other side of this barrier. That is the purpose of the barrier. It's not just to get you to go back, it's to stop you from moving forward. Four City is more than just a church name, it's a prophetic declaration. And we're believing God for your life that everything in your life will move forward. This is why Moses makes a declaration to Pharaoh. I believe it's in Exodus chapter 7 and he says, "Let my people go so that they may worship me in the wilderness." The will and the purpose of God was always for them to worship him on the other side. It wasn't just for them to be set free. Freedom always has a purpose. And the purpose of deliverance is worship. Worship sustains you in the delivered place. And that's why the enemy has been trying to attack your worship and attack and give you barriers to stop you from worship. Listen, listen the barriers in your life and maybe his name is Brian. Hello. Maybe her name is Shaniqua. Hello. Maybe it is a 401k. Hello. Maybe it is your hometown. Whatever the barrier is, whatever it is, maybe it's a mindset, maybe it's a habit, some distraction, it is something that has a satanic agenda. It is literally a diabolical strategy to keep you. This is not just happenstance ladies and gentlemen, it's not random. This is strategic from the devil to keep you from your place of worship because he knows your place of worship is a place where you receive revival winds. He knows man, if you can ever get in the posture of worship man, you're going to get this north wind, you're going to get this south wind, you're going to get this east wind, you're going to get this west wind. So to stop you from getting to a place of repentance and stop you from getting to a place of renewal and stop you from getting to a place of removal. He's going to continue to contend and allow barriers to be before you. But if God be for you, who can be against you? And God is into removing barriers for a reason in order to get you to your place of worship. Hey, check out this quick clip from the east wind, the wind of removal. I pledge ALLEGIANCE TO THE CROSS. WE BECOME SO DIVIDED. I'M NOT TALKING TO THEM, I'M TALKING TO US. NO, BECAUSE THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH US. WHEN WE CAN BE EXCITED WHEN A MAN IS KILLED BEFORE OUR VERY EYES, THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH US. WHEN WE FORGET THAT OUR BODIES BELONG TO HIM, THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH US. WHEN WE'RE DEFENDING SATANIC AGENDAS IN THE CHURCH. PEOPLE GOT MAD AT ME BECAUSE I SAID THE LORD HAD ME DENOUNCE AN ORGANIZATION. CHURCH PEOPLE, LIKE THEY FORGOT IN ORDER TO CROSS WE HAD TO BOW DOWN BEFORE AN ORACLE. >> ((cheering)) >> YOU CAN'T TELL ME I WAS THERE. I WAS THERE WITH THE CANDLE. I WAS THERE WITH THE SMOKE. I WAS THERE WITH THOSE SATANIC PRAYERS. YOU CAN'T TELL ME AND WHEN GOD REQUIRED ME TO DEMOLISH AN IDOL, I AIN'T SCARED OF NO DEVIL. I GOT TO BE FREE FROM THIS. THERE'S A CALL ON MY LIFE. THERE'S A GRACE ON MY LIFE. THERE IS A PURPOSE FOR ME TO FULFILL AND I'M NOT HERE TO BE POPULAR. I'M NOT HERE TO FIT IN. I'M HERE TO DELIVER SOMEBODY. GRAB YOUR NEIGHBOR AND TELL THEM TO PREPARE FOR FREEDOM. HEAVEN'S VERSION of you is ready TO RISE. 20 SECONDS OF INTERCESSION. Lift your hands and pray in the spirit. Man, oh man, if you have not been in this building for winter revival, you've been missing out. The good news is we're not stopping. The Lord gave us an instruction to keep this thing going because we're in revival and revival we don't want to be seasonal, we want it to be a lifestyle. I might mess around and change the name of this church to Revival City. Y'all quit messing with me. I'm feeling stirred man. I believe that God is doing something supernatural and that's why we've been pursuing his presence and this leads us to the final wind. This is the west wind. Remember, is it you prophesied to the breath to the four winds and we walked through north wind, south, east and now we're at the west wind. I believe the west wind is the wind of restoration. Scripture I want to show you in in Exodus chapter 10 verse 19. I love this. Listen what Moses is in this duel, right? He's in this boxing match if you will with Pharaoh and Pharaoh is not backing down. And God does this. The Bible says, "And the Lord changed the wind." Ooh. My God. I believe that for you. I believe you're in the season and maybe you've been going through so much, God is about to change the wind. And the Lord changed the wind to a very strong westerly wind, which caught up the locusts and carried them into the Red Sea. Not a locust was left anywhere in Egypt. The locusts was there as a plague because of what Pharaoh was doing. And God sent the locusts as a plague but man, unfortunately, the Israelites were in Egypt. So if the locusts were affecting the Egyptians, the locusts were affecting the Israelites. It's really the power of proximity. However, God has a way of preserving his own. And the Bible says he sends this strong westerly wind. This is what we call it the wind of restoration because God came for the very thing that was destroying them, God destroyed it. And I believe that's what's going to happen in your life. Listen, if you can last, if you can endure the season and the wind of repentance and if you can be trusted with the wind of renewal and if you trust God with the wind of removal, then God says, "Man, I believe that your heart is ready for the wind of restoration." And I'm not going to expand on this too much because I want to preach it in person but I just do want to encourage your heart with the little time we have together to remind you that God is a restorer. Man, it was Joel who wrote, "Man, that God is going to restore the years that the locusts has stolen and eaten away." And God can restore to you joy. He can restore to you years. He can restore to you Man, the Bible says the day that sow in tears will reap in joy. And I believe that you're in the season where God is about to shift. He's going to change the wind. He's going to change your weeping to reaping. Again, I'm going to preach this in person so make sure you're in the building the next time I'm there for west wind. But we're going to continue in this wind of revival and as we've done every time that we're together, I want to do these prophetic declarations together. I'm pulling them up on my phone. I think I actually know them by heart but just in case I'm going to pull them up for backup plan. You guys ready? Let's do it. This is my revival year. Everything is about to shift. I prophesy ((music playing)) to the north, south, east and west. First wind is blowing on every dead and dry place. ((music playing)) Dead dreams live again. Dead gifts live again. Dead faith live again. Lord, breathe on my mind, ((music playing)) my heart, my health, my family, my anointing, my church, my city, my relationships and my finances. This is my year for divine alignment. What was scattered must come back together. Yeah, what was broken will be restored. Heaven version of me is ready to rise. I will not fight against the wind. Wherever it blows, I will go. Use me to do whatever, whenever, however. >> ((music playing)) >> This is my year to pray more passionately, fast more fervently, and be more devoted daily. I renounce every lie. I rebuke every aisle. And I repent for [singing] doing things ((music playing)) my way. You know what you're doing. Take everything and give me it. My worship is my strongest place, and your response to surrender is revival. >> ((music playing)) >> I receive. I receive. I receive the winds of revival in every area of my life in Jesus name. Amen. If you're watching today, may your heart is far from the Jesus that we encountered. I want to give you an opportunity to open up your heart and receive him today as your Lord and your savior. It'll be the best decision you've ever made. He's been chasing after you. He has a purpose and a plan for you. So, if you want to give him your heart, do me a favor. Just repeat this prayer after me. Lord Jesus, I believe you ((music playing)) died on the cross for my sins, and I believe that you rose so I don't have to stay down. Today, I receive ((music playing)) you as my Lord and as my savior. Thank you for changing me from the inside out. I bow. ((music playing)) I surrender in Jesus name. Amen. We love you.
