Full Easter Service at Forward City Church ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> Because the devil is a liar and he he will really have you out here thinking that God wants you to do all this stuff on your own. That's it. your own strength with your own power. >> Isolated. And that that will discourage you. It will lead you to despair. I am fully persuaded that that is why >> ((music playing)) >> a lot of people leave the faith and it's because they were trying to live up to a standard without the Holy Spirit's power. ((music playing)) Yeah. But if you understand and and recognize and believe, no, I have divine ((music playing)) power to be godly. I have divine power to live up to this excellence, not perfectly, but I have it within me cuz he saved me and he filled me. >> ((music playing)) >> I think that will help us to I don't know, approach the day with more hope. And I would even add, when you make the mistake, get back up and try again cuz that's a responsibility that you don't put down your cross just because you made a misstep. Paul made missteps. ((music playing)) You know, like Peter made Jackie made missteps. Both Jackies have made missteps, but we get up over and over again placing that cross back on our back trying again ((music playing)) to do the thing that God has called us to and I think that is the only expectation of Christ. He knew that we couldn't get it perfect. That's why he was. That's why he went. That's why he called us to himself that we would have that divine power given by him, imputed unto us as a grace that we would not have without him. >> ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> Nevertheless. Y'all, it's Naomi Raine. Hey sis, Nona Jones here. Ladies, it is Katie Kazoti and I want to personally invite you to Permission Conference 2026 ((music playing)) happening April 24th through the 26th in Columbia, South Carolina by my girl, the incomparable powerhouse, Dr. Jackie Green. We are gathering under the theme nevertheless ((music playing)) and I can assure you with every fiber of my being this is going to change your life. >> There has to be a nevertheless in your spirit, especially in a season like this one. So, you better make sure you go to drjackiegreen.com and get your ticket so you can come and worship with us. I am over here counting down the days till we get together together again. I'll be in the building and I want to see you there. Columbia, South Carolina, you got to come through. I can't wait to see you there. You got permission and it's nevertheless season. >> ((music playing)) >> Bible talks about there's a way that seemeth ((music playing)) right to a man, but the end thereof is death. You don't need discernment to determine what's right from wrong. You need discernment to determine what's right from what appears to be right. God saved me from what appears right. >> Ezequiel Azonwu, come on. You pronounced that like a real Igbo brother, man. I am. Most people don't pivot >> ((music playing)) >> ever. What has it cost you? When I would used to go away to minister, my dad would call me after I ministered. He said, "Are you done? So, ((music playing)) why do you want to destroy this church?" Cuz I know I had the power to destroy the church. I had to sit and tell my dad. I'm like, >> You taught me to have ((music playing)) more allegiance to God than anyone else. Now, it's time for me to have allegiance to God over you. Well, your dad talked just like the dad on Black Panther. So many times it's hard for us to be obedient when we're winning. How do you pivot while winning? >> You have to redefine what winning is. And let's talk about God's sabotage. God has sabotaged me many times in my life. I realized it's the classroom where he wants to teach us his name as provider. It's the ((music playing)) place where he wants to come through for us. The people who struggle with faith the most are the most talented. Okay. Cuz you believe you don't ((music playing)) need him. And because you're so skilled, faith is too basic. So, you try to skip it. That's why the worst thing you can ever do is go to the Y and play a pick up game ((music playing)) against white guys. Cuz they're going to beat you. Because they're going to pick and roll. Cuz they're not relying on skill. And basics beat skill every day. Joel Osteen walked off stage. He told his friend. He said, "You hear that? The crowd going crazy." He said, "They're clapping for my gift, not for me." He said, "They don't know me." He said, "If I walk back out ((music playing)) there and say one thing they don't like, those claps will go away." He said, "Don't ever confuse the applause for your gift with the applause for you. It's two different things." You see, that's why it's good to be married. >> Being married, coming home is a reality check. Hey, don't it check? She don't care. I'm like, man, these people love me. I come home. I'm like, be like, "WHY ARE YOU NOT THAT HIGH?" DO YOU HATE IT? CELEBRATE ME. I [laughter] SAY this so seriously. What you're doing now is not ((music playing)) a sermon series, bro. Hear me. And I hope you don't move on. >> I don't want to end this. I see why Tim Ross podcasts are 18 hours. I could just go on and on and on, man. Did we just become best friends? Yep. >> ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> Make her, man. I'm telling you, mark my words. The church that eats this song out of all songs, this one, they're going to go out of here. >> ((music playing)) [singing] ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> Watermark ((music playing)) City, are you ready to worship? >> ((music playing)) >> Goodbye, ((music playing)) yesterday. I'm living in the light of a I won't waste another minute >> ((music playing)) >> Praise the Lord. I've been born again. Goodbye, yesterday. >> ((music playing)) >> I'm living in the light of I won't waste another minute Praise the Lord. I've been born again. ((music playing)) I've been born >> ((music playing)) >> Again ((music playing)) and again and again and again. You rescued me out of ((music playing)) the mess I was You straightened my sorrow Now, I'm dancing on the grave that I once ((music playing)) lived in. Goodbye, yesterday. I'm living ((music playing)) in the light of a I won't waste another minute >> ((music playing)) >> Praise the Lord. I've been born Goodbye, yesterday. >> ((music playing)) >> I'm living in the light of >> ((music playing)) >> I won't waste another minute Praise the Lord. >> [music and singing] >> I've been born Again and again and again and ((music playing)) again. You rescued me out of the mess I was in. You straightened my >> ((music playing)) >> Now, I'm dancing on the grave that I once lived in. Again ((music playing)) and again and again and again. You rescued me out of the mess I was in. You straightened my ((music playing)) sorrow over Now, I'm dancing on the grave that I once lived in. I have decided ((music playing)) to follow [singing] Jesus. The world ((music playing)) behind. Cross before. And I won't turn back. >> ((music playing)) >> I have decided to follow Jesus. [music and singing] The world behind. Cross before. ((music playing)) And I won't turn back. I have decided ((music playing)) to follow Jesus. And I'm going to leave the world behind. ((music playing)) The world behind. Cross before. And I won't turn back. >> ((music playing)) >> I have decided to follow Jesus. >> ((music playing)) >> The world behind. Cross before. And I won't turn back. I won't turn back. >> ((music playing)) >> I won't turn >> ((music playing)) >> The world behind. Cross before. And I won't turn back. I ((music playing)) won't turn back. And I won't turn The world behind. Cross ((music playing)) before. And I won't turn back. Again and again and again and again. You rescued me out of the mess >> ((music playing)) >> I was in. You straightened my sorrow Now, I'm dancing on the grave that ((music playing)) I once lived Again and again and again and again. You rescued me out of the mess I was in. You straightened ((music playing)) my sorrow Now, I'm dancing on the grave that I once ((music playing)) lived Oh, >> ((music playing)) >> Lord, I've been born again. Praise ((music playing)) the Lord, I've been born again. >> ((music playing)) >> Oh. Dancing on the grave that I once lived in. Dancing on the grave ((music playing)) that I once >> ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> Somebody give it up for our kids. >> ((music playing)) >> Come on kids, keep clapping, ((music playing)) keep clapping, keep clapping. THIS IS NOT JUST OUR NEXT, BUT THIS IS OUR NOW. COME ON. >> ((music playing)) >> Keep clapping, keep clapping, keep up. >> ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> You want to give God a shout of praise this morning? >> ((music playing)) >> Did you come to have fun, man? Come to have fun in the presence of the Lord? God, we thank you that you came. You lived, you died, and you rose. We bless your name. You are the God of the Bible. You are the one that still works miracles even today. Thank you for what you're going to do in this place. >> ((music playing)) >> In the beginning was the word, and the word was ((music playing)) with God. He was there before the earth, and when everything [singing] else ((music playing)) fades away, oh, he'll [singing] remain forever. >> ((music playing)) >> Yeah. From the Red Sea to the wall, he prepared ((music playing)) every way. And from the garden to the cross, he took all ((music playing)) our sins away. And then he got up from that grave, and he's still alive ((music playing)) today. The same power [singing] lives in me. >> ((music playing)) >> Won't stop believing that he can still do miracles. ((music playing)) Come on, even now. >> ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> Come on, let the redeemed of the Lord say so in this place. Yep. >> ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> And we won't stop, yeah. >> ((music playing)) >> Let's sing it, y'all. >> ((music playing)) >> Shout it out. Say >> ((music playing)) >> Come on. Say do all things. >> ((music playing)) >> Yeah. >> ((music playing)) >> To raise the dead. >> ((music playing)) >> Sing it, I know. >> ((music playing)) >> Say it. >> ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> Somebody say he can. ((music playing)) >> ((music playing)) >> I know that it is still possible cuz I know. >> ((music playing)) >> I know that >> ((music playing)) >> What a mighty God we ((music playing)) serve. He's so mighty. Yeah. He's so mighty. And he can, he can do more. >> [screaming] ((music playing)) >> Sing it, church. He still has We going to sing it again. He can, he can do more. >> ((music playing)) >> And he still has the power. Resurrection ((music playing)) power. He can do more. He's ((music playing)) able, he's able to do exceedingly abundantly above all. Above all. >> ((music playing)) >> And you can't ask or think he can't do more. >> ((music playing)) >> He still has the power. >> ((music playing)) >> I know >> ((music playing)) >> the God of can do. He can, say >> ((music playing)) >> Somebody speak to your situation. >> [music and singing] >> Shout it out. I know. He can do, say >> ((music playing)) [singing] >> Talking about the God we serve. >> ((music playing)) >> Like he did. He's going to do it again. >> [music and singing] >> Say >> ((music playing)) >> can do. Everybody that your Jesus got up from that grave, >> ((music playing)) >> I need you to open up your mouth and give HIM A GREAT SHOUT IN the room. He can do more. High five three people AND TELL THEM HE GOT UP, he got up. >> ((music playing)) >> He got up, he got up. >> ((music playing)) >> And thank you for joining us ((music playing)) on this Easter, this resurrection Sunday. Y'all do me a favor, make some noise for those kids, man. The kids are amazing. >> ((cheering)) >> We did a do a kids choir recording. That was amazing. How y'all Y'all look Eastery. Y'all look real beautiful today. If this your first time, wave back at me. This your first time at Forest City. What's up, man? So glad to have you all. Thank you. >> ((applause)) >> Also, y'all do me a favor, make some noise for our city team. Those are those who are serving today. We had a long day. We had a long weekend. >> Yes, we have. Did anybody make it out on Friday night for Pursuit Night? OMG. Special. Six hours. Six hours of pursuing the presence of God. And then yesterday we were at Denton Middle School. Anybody came out for our family festival? That was amazing. And I want to get in and thank you to everyone who served and was a part of that. Um, thousands of kids were served and um, the community was blessed and we had a great time. But I'm so glad you're here today. How y'all feeling? These are the green boys. Say what's up. What's up, guys? Y'all say hi. What's up? We got to bring Easter speeches back. Give a Easter speech. Hey guys, thank you all for being here. I love it. All right, well, we got to work on that. We got to bring the Easter speeches back. Get the kids ready. And they did a Easter egg hunt yesterday. I said, this ain't no hunt. They had all the eggs out there in the field. Back in the day we used to have TO SEARCH, CLIMB TREES, BREAK LEGS. Y'ALL REMEMBER THAT IN THE COUNTRY? All for a boiled egg. We wasn't doing no We wasn't no candy. We did all that for He'd be sick on boiled eggs on Easter. >> [laughter] >> Are y'all grateful to be in the house of the Lord on today where we get to celebrate the one true name of Jesus? Are you grateful that he got up on the third day? I want to know if Do you Anybody else feel the resurrection power of Jesus in this room? I want to take a moment. Can we just shout the name of Jesus and celebrate him? Father, we thank you for what you did on Calvary. We celebrate your death, your life, AND YOUR RESURRECTION. SOMEBODY SAY "HE GOT UP." HE GOT UP. AMEN. AMEN. I want to give you all an opportunity. Um we're going to extend our worship through giving in this moment. Those that are watching with us online, I want to give you an opportunity to give as well. There going to be various ways to give that they will place on the screen. But, I wanted to remind you in a moment like this that the Bible says in John 3:16 that "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. That whosoever would believe in him would not perish, but would have everlasting life." And as we prepare our hearts to give and extend our worship through giving, I want to remind you of Jesus' example of his ability to show value. Where he saw value, he gave. He gave what was most precious to him. And so, as we are thinking about the fact that not only did he give his son, but he allowed his son to get back up on the third day that we would not have to stay down. I want us to extend our worship from that posture. God, I see you and I reverence all that you've done. And because I see value, because I see your worth, I'm going to extend my worship through giving. Whatever your method of giving is, I want you to just prepare, get that seed in your hand. And I want us to prepare to give our offering in a moment and in a posture of reverence, understanding that he's worthy of it all. Does anybody know that he's worthy? He's so worthy. He's worthy of all that we have to give. And so, I just want to take a moment uh for us to just allow Holy Spirit to speak to our hearts about what we will give in this moment. And then we'll take an opportunity to pray over gifts. It's awesome, man. There's people have you traveled in for today? Can you wave at me? If you traveled Orangeburg don't count, but if you traveled in I know some people came from Virginia. I heard about you. That's y'all? VIRGINIA, WHAT'S UP? MAKE SOME NOISE FOR VA. >> YOU. So glad to have you. I heard the family drove from Cleveland, Ohio. Um traveled in? Where he at? Where he at? I don't I think they coming to the next service. >> Okay. Okay. Um but people came from all over uh the country to be a part of what God is doing here. And I think that's so amazing that we're a part of a church um where we are sending the word of God out and the wind of God is drawing people to even want to be a part of what God is doing. That's amazing. Come on, you're a part of something special. That's amazing. It was great. Like I said yesterday, we had inflatables. We're able to reach families and pray for people. It was just uh an incredible time to make memories. I'm all about making memories uh with the next generation and with our family. And talk about memories, next Sunday is a really big Sunday. We call it Jordan Sunday. Yeah, man. Come on. This is our baptism Sunday. Already hundreds have been baptized this year at Forward City Church already in just 4 months. And so, today we're believing God for record-breaking salvation for people to surrender to him as their Lord and receive salvation. And next week we're going to demonstrate that outwardly with baptism. So, make sure you sign up for that. We have information for that as well. Jordan Sunday is happening. And then every Sunday we have this thing that we do. We call it 60-second saints. And we like to give you an opportunity to greet some people around you. So, you got a whole full minute. And we do this especially for the introverts. For those of you who just like "Don't touch me. Don't talk to me. I just really want this to be over with." Yeah, you. This is your moment to break out of your box. YOU GOT 60 SECONDS. TURN. Meet some people around you. Go hug somebody. >> ((music playing)) >> Family! Our people all over the world, thank you for joining us online. >> the Green family with us. Yo, that's so special. Hey, online. Yo. What's up, fam? Happy Easter to you. We pray that today is special. Remember, he got up. So, you don't have to stay down. Make sure you comment in the section uh below. Let us know what God is doing in your life. >> Yes, we're so glad that you're with us and that we see you. We definitely see you. Absolutely. We love you. Cannot wait to see you soon. God bless you. ((music playing)) >> you soon. Come on, buddy. >> ((music playing)) >> There you go. Our people >> ((music playing)) >> Before the cross, there was a table. One final meal. One last supper. Jesus looked at his friends ((music playing)) in the eyes and spoke of what was to come. >> ((music playing)) >> A fracture in the room. A traitor at the table. >> ((cheering)) >> An innocent man mocked in the open. A crown of thorns forced upon his head. Torn apart like vultures circling. And like wolves closing in. And though he held the power to end it all, ((music playing)) he chose to stay. The cross wasn't wood ((music playing)) and nails. It was surrender. It was love under pressure. Forgive them. They know not what they do. Every drop of blood not taken, but given freely for you. Then came silence. Heaven held its breath. And darkness covered everything. Time moved. And hope felt buried. >> ((music playing)) >> But on that third day, King Jesus stood up from death. Sin lost its voice. Fear >> ((music playing)) >> lost its grip. And what looked like the end was only the beginning. ((music playing)) Of freedom. >> ((music playing)) >> Of redemption. >> [bell] ((music playing)) >> Of peace. >> ((music playing)) >> And of new life. >> ((music playing)) >> And that new life has a name. >> ((music playing)) >> And its name >> ((music playing)) >> is Jesus. >> ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> Sin around me. Pain is in me. Stress is on me. But I got to keep looking up. >> ((music playing)) >> Tears are streaming. Heart is beating. Others leaving. But I got to keep looking. Some will ((music playing)) trust in horses and chariots. But I will look to the hill. And ((music playing)) I will not fear. Some may say that they found another ((music playing)) way. But my eyes are on you. And I will not from the hill. The hill. Hill. >> [singing] >> Trouble has found me. Pressure is ((music playing)) crowding. People doubting. But I got to keep looking up. Ground is shaking. Walls are breaking. And my heart ((music playing)) is racing. But I got to keep looking. ((music playing)) Some will trust in horses and chariots, but I will look to the hill. >> ((music playing)) >> And I will not fear. Oh, some may say that they found another ((music playing)) way, but my eyes are on you. And I will not move. >> ((music playing)) >> Oh, some may trust in horses and chariots, but I will look [singing] to the hill. And I will not fear. Oh, some ((music playing)) may say that they found another way, but my eyes are on you. And I will not move. On the hill, there's a cross. On the cross, there is blood for ((music playing)) me. For me. On the hill, ((music playing)) there's a cross. On the cross, there is blood for me. For ((music playing)) me. >> [singing] >> Yes, on the hill, there's a cross. On the cross, there is blood for me. For me. Yes, on ((music playing)) the hill, there's a cross. On the cross, there is blood ((music playing)) for me. For me. God, thank you for your blood. >> ((music playing)) >> Thank you for your blood. Thank you for your blood. >> ((music playing)) >> What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the blood. Nothing but the blood. Nothing but your blood. >> ((music playing)) >> On the hill On the hill, there's a cross. On the cross Yeah. There is blood ((music playing)) for we're thankful for your blood. Hey, on the hill On the ((music playing)) hill, there's a cross. On the cross There is blood for me. >> ((music playing)) >> Come on, sing. On the hill, say On the hill, there's a cross. On the cross, on the cross There is ((music playing)) blood There is blood for me. There is blood ((music playing)) for you. Say On the hill There's a cross. On the cross There is blood >> [singing] >> For me. >> ((music playing)) >> Come on. Still has the power, the wonderful power, to heal ((music playing)) all diseases and to cover our weakness. Still has the ((music playing)) power. Wonderful power to heal all ((music playing)) diseases to cover our weakness. Say he still has the power. Still has the power. He has the power to save. >> ((music playing)) >> He has the power to heal all your sicknesses. >> ((music playing)) >> I promise that he still has the power. Wonderful power and to cover our weakness. Yes, HE STILL HAS THE POWER. Still has the power. Wonderful power >> ((music playing)) >> to heal all our and to cover our weaknesses. ((music playing)) He heals. Still has the power. Wonderful power Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Heal all diseases. ((music playing)) To cover our weakness. On the hill Oh >> ((music playing)) [singing] >> Somebody raise it up in the room. Say Oh Oh >> ((music playing)) >> Oh Oh >> ((music playing)) >> Yes, on the hill, there's a cross. On the cross, there is blood for me. For me. On the hill, [music and singing] there's a cross. On the cross, there is blood for me. So thankful. On the hill, [music and singing] there's a cross. On the cross, there is blood I see a hill, yeah. >> ((music playing)) [singing] >> On the hill, there's a cross. On the cross, ((music playing)) there is blood Oh, for [music and singing] me. Beautiful blood. >> ((applause)) ((music playing)) >> Father, we thank you for your blood. Your blood that still reaches and still saves. And because of that, we'll always be a people to come back and say thank you. Oh >> ((music playing)) [singing] >> I remember where I was when you found me. They told me ((music playing)) that I was untouchable. You came and you wrapped your arms >> ((music playing)) >> around me. You gave me hope in darkness. You knew ((music playing)) my secret. [singing] You saw my broken pieces. You came >> ((music playing)) >> anyway. So, I came back to say you have done so >> ((music playing)) >> much more than I could ask [singing] you for. Needed a miracle. You made a way out of no way. ((music playing)) Gave me an open door. I had nowhere to go. >> ((music playing)) >> I'll be the one to come back and say thank you. >> ((music playing)) >> Come on, if that's your song, raise it in the room. I'll say ((music playing)) thank you. Jesus And I >> [music and singing] >> remember who I was when you called ((music playing)) me. They told me that ((music playing)) I was unusable. You would not let ((music playing)) my past define me. >> ((music playing)) >> You gave me new identity. [singing] You knew my secret. >> ((music playing)) >> You saw my broken pieces. You came anyway. ((music playing)) So, I came back to say >> I came back to say thank You have done so much more than I could ever ask for, Jesus. >> ((music playing)) >> I needed a miracle. God, you made a way out of no way. Gave me ((music playing)) an open door. I had nowhere to go. >> [music and singing] >> So, I'll be the one. I'll come back and say thank you. >> ((music playing)) [singing] >> Say thank you. >> ((music playing)) >> I'll come back and say thank you. Come ((music playing)) on, let's say when others forget. When others forget There's a >> ((music playing)) >> worship that I >> [singing] >> I can't get over what you've done. Here I am to say thank you. When others When others forget ((music playing)) and move on Yeah. I can't get over it. Come ((music playing)) on, forget about who's around you. Hey, when others forget Jesus, ((music playing)) I'll never forget that you I won't forget your benefits. What you've done. Say >> ((music playing)) >> thank you. Remember how >> [singing] >> you felt when you saw me. They told ((music playing)) me that I was untouchable. >> ((music playing)) >> You washed my leprosy off me. Hey. Off me. >> ((music playing)) >> Now I'm free to worship. I'll be the one. Say I'll ((music playing)) be the one. You won't have to look for me. I'll be the one. I'll lift my hands in surrender. >> ((music playing)) >> Hey. Cuz you were the only one. Only Jesus could do it. Only Jesus could do ((music playing)) it. I'll be the one. Hey. >> ((music playing)) >> Say thank you. >> ((music playing)) >> More than by morning I see your mercies. >> ((music playing)) >> When others left You were married to me. >> ((music playing)) >> More than by morning I see your mercies. So, here I am. >> ((music playing)) >> Cuz he paid it all. Cuz he paid it all. >> ((music playing)) >> It was because of your love. Here I am. >> ((music playing)) >> Come on, let's testify. Totally healed. >> ((music playing)) >> BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU DID AT CALVARY. It was because of your >> ((music playing)) >> Here I am. God, you hung laid down for ((music playing)) me. I came back to say thank you. I'll never get over it. I came >> ((music playing)) >> back to say Thank you. Jesus. Thank ((music playing)) you. Jesus. Thank you. Jesus. Woah. Come on, watch this. >> ((music playing)) [singing] >> You died for me. Thank you. Thank ((music playing)) you, Jesus. Died on a cross for me, God. >> ((music playing)) >> Thank you. Thank you, Jesus. I'll never get >> ((music playing)) >> over it, yeah. But thank you. Thank you, Jesus. >> ((music playing)) >> I'll be [music and singing] the one. I'll be the to come [music and singing] back to say thank you. You were the one. The only one. I'll be the one. >> ((music playing)) >> Can you lift your hands for the next 20 seconds? And thank God for sending the only one who could do it. There was no second option. We thank you for Jesus. We thank you for your blood. Can you just for 10 seconds thank God? Not for anything that he is going to do materialistically, >> ((music playing)) >> but for the finished work of Jesus Christ. Come on. Come on, this Easter Sunday, ((music playing)) can you do as the song says and just thank him? >> ((music playing)) >> Hallelujah. Really quickly, can you guys do me a favor and wave to Take Off? They're headed out to their own Easter experience. Can we give it up for our middle schoolers? Our Take Off student ministry. I also want to shout out everybody that's watching online. Thank you so much for tuning in. Can we give it up for everyone watching online as well? >> ((music playing)) >> This this final uh song in in in this worship moment, we always love to do something special on Sunday mornings, and Easter Sunday was no different. Uh in worship, we want to be able to create space for you to get what you need. I don't know about you, but there are sometimes where I come to church and there's just a need that I would like for someone to partner with. And so, as we go into this next song, I'm going to invite some of our prayer team and some of our uh leaders up here to the stage. And if you have a need, if you have something that you are asking God for, and you would just like for someone to agree in prayer, you can come on up here to the altar and receive prayer as we are worshipping together. I don't know about you, but today already feels amazing. Is that Is that anybody else's testimony? I came to church expecting something from God, and I know he's going to give it to me. Real quick, we're going to pray and go back into worship. Father, thank you for your finished work. Thank you that today we may have come expecting for something, but we can believe ((music playing)) that you are faithful enough to do it. And as we worship on this Easter Sunday, this Resurrection Sunday, we worship from the other side knowing that you got ((music playing)) up so we could get up too. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen and amen. Let's continue to worship. >> ((music playing)) >> Lord Jesus, we just want you. You're our answer. I thought I had it all figured out on my own. [singing and music] I've been wounded and chained by a world [music and singing] that I created. I didn't see it then, but I know now [singing] that your hand was always working since the beginning. It was perfect. So, the best thing I can give you is my ((music playing)) trust. The one thing you desire is a heart that's open. [singing] ((music playing)) You know what you're doing, so I'll just be still and know you're good. [music and singing] You deserve all my worship. I'm laying ((music playing)) down my idols. Totally surrender to a God that holds my past and knows my future. You're the God that holds my past and knows my future. But because you got up, we have hope, we have a future. >> ((applause)) >> Come on, I'm still waiting for your praise ((music playing)) to match. If you know he's worthy, give him a good shout. Come on, we in South Carolina on Easter Sunday. We got TO MOVE. GO FIND YOU A PRAISE PARTNER AND TELL THEM, "I'm so glad he got up." Come on. Tell them, "I'm so glad he got up." >> ((music playing)) ((cheering)) ((music playing)) ((music playing)) >> Y'all help me thank God for this amazing choir. Thank y'all so much. Y'all look great. God bless you. Y'all did great. We got a choir now. We're a real church. And if it's your first time with us, let me catch you up to speed with where where we are as you're turning in your Bibles to Hebrews. That's where we're going to be today, and it's our tradition here at Forest City to stand for ((music playing)) the reading of God's word, and as as soon as I finish reading it, you'll be able to sit down. But let me catch you up to speed. We are in the middle of something here at Forest City, and we'd like to call that thing revival. This is our revival year, and so we've been praying and uh setting our hearts on what God promised us, which is the wind of God responding to ((music playing)) our repentance and to our surrender. Um so, our theme for 2026 is winds of revival. We're not just believing God for stuff. Not just believing God for more cars and bigger houses, although he can do that stuff, but we want the wind of God to blow in every area of our life. Come on. And this revelation comes from Ezekiel chapter 37, where Ezekiel the prophet has this vision. And the Lord placed him in the mid middle of a valley of dry bones and commands him to prophesy to it. And Ezekiel has to assess the situation. He's led back and forth in this valley of dry bones, and he prophesies to it, and one of the prophecies is that he speaks to the breath and calls the poor winds to respond. And I thought it was ironic as I was praying and preparing for today that what Ezekiel did metaphorically, Jesus did literally. That our Jesus, our savior, stepped down from glory into our death valley, and he proclaimed freedom for us, and that's why we're here, and that's why it's the greatest revival. The greatest revival is what he did on Calvary and what he finished at that tomb. And aren't y'all glad that he got up? Come on, man. ((cheering)) And so we have our our revival declarations. We do it every Sunday, and Easter is no different. We got to do it, and there's only one way to say it. You got to shout it. Are you ready, church? Come on, real loud. This is my revival year. Everything is about to shift. I prophesy to the north, south, east, and west. Fresh wind is blowing on every dead and dry place. Come on, church. Dead dreams live again. Dead gifts live again. Dead faith live again. Lord, breathe on my mind, my heart, my health, my family, my anointing, my church, my city, my relationships, and my finances. This is my year. Come on, shout it. This is my year. For divine alignment, what was scattered must come back together. What was broken will be restored. Heaven's version of me is ready to arise. I will not fight against the wind. Wherever it blows, I will go. Use me to do whatever, however, whenever. This is my year. Come on, this is my year >> ((music playing)) >> to pray more passionately, fast more fervently, and be more devoted daily. I renounce every lie. I rebuke every idol. And I repent for doing things my way. You know what you're doing? Take everything and give me you. My worship is my strongest place, and your response >> ((music playing)) >> to surrender is revival. I receive. I receive. I receive the winds of revival in every area of my life in Jesus' name. SOMEBODY SHOUT LIKE YOU RECEIVE IT. >> ((cheering)) ((music playing)) >> OH, YEAH. It's my revival year. We're in the book of Hebrews chapter 10. That's where we are today. ((music playing)) It's my assignment. Hebrews chapter 10. I'm going to read just a few verses, and you can take your seat. I'm not going to be long. Verse 19. Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the most holy place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way Good God. opened for us through the curtain, that is his body. And since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our heart sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. ((music playing)) Let us hold unswervingly. I like that. to the hope we profess. For he who promised is faithful. He who promised is faithful. Well, it's Easter Sunday and I prayed about what to preach today and I felt like the Lord wanted me to preach a topic simply entitled He Made a Way. Do me a favor. Find you three people that's going to help you have church and tell them, "I'm so glad he made a way." Now, before I start, I'mma give you 10 seconds to give the way-making God a good shout in the room. Lord, breathe on your word. We're here for you. Do a new thing. Do an old thing. I decrease, you increase. Saturate our hearts. Speak to us in a new and profound way. In Jesus' name. Amen. ((music playing)) You can take your seats. He made a way. He made a way. He made a way. I like the Bible. I like the way the Bible put it. It says that he made a new and living way. Good God. And he opened it for us. Now, I know you got on your CarMax and your TJ Maxx outfit, but is there anybody in the room that ain't too siddity to testify that the only reason you made it to Easter 2026 is because your God decided to make a ((applause)) way. There's some people in here that's ignorant enough to believe you made your own way. You think your education got you where you got you. You think your DNA or your looks got you where you got you. BUT THERE'S SOME OF US WITH ENOUGH SENSE in this room that know the only reason we made it to this far in our life is because our God decided to make He didn't have to do it, but he did it anyway. He decided to make a way. And what I like about my God is he don't need a way already made when he decides to make one. He's a way-making kind of God. That means he's never out of options, ladies and gentlemen. He's never caught by surprise. He's always prepared. He's not a procrastinator. And this dumb devil always thinks that he can make moves, but he never realizes and he's been doing this for a long time. But he still hadn't realized that whenever he make a move, he's always a few steps behind. Because God anticipates everything that we will ever face. I can really go home and eat chicken right now. I've already preached a good message. Did you hear what I just said? God anticipates everything we will face. Every mountain, every giant, every trial, every valley. He already anticipates it. Every disease, every diagnosis, every failure, he already anticipates it. Meaning whenever there's a limitation, your God pre- emptively already made a way. The Bible says that he will always make a way of escape for us. He's a way-making kind of God. >> ((applause)) >> The Bible says he is alpha and omega. Meaning he is first, he is last. He is author, he is finisher. He is at the beginning, he is at the end. I love that about my God. But there's somebody in here that got questions. Have you ever found yourself with questions? Questions not a bad thing. You can have your questions. Your God is big enough to give an answer. As a matter of fact, the Bible says he don't just give an answer, he is the answer. And some of us got questions in the room and we're wondering if God is so great, why do bad things happen? That's a good question. There's some people with some deep theological questions like if God is so alpha and he's so omega, then why would God, knowing everything, create Lucifer knowing that he would rebel against him? What a deep and profound question. Guess what? I don't know. But I did find one answer worth wrestling. Perhaps God created Lucifer knowing that he would rebel against him the same reason he created you. Knowing that you would rebel against him. Because true love cannot exist, ladies and gentlemen, without the freedom to decide loyalty. So your God, he's not a control freak. He gives you the opportunity to choose ye this day who you will serve. And he had a plan because he's a way-making God. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Now, the earth was formless and void and empty darkness was all over the earth. But the spirit of God hovered over the waters and God spoke some words. He said, "Let there be light." Light been obeying ever since. Not only that, but God decided to create this earth because he's a king and although he is self-sufficient, he was hanging out enjoying himself for a long time in eternity. He's uncreated. So he's been there by himself just chilling. And he said, "You know what? I'm going to decide to create the heavens and the earth. I'm going to create earth because I am satisfied in my kingdom, but because I am a king, I want to create a colony and expand my kingdom. This colony is called earth, but I got to put some people there in order to govern, to manage this earth. And so I'm going to create out of the dust of the earth what I want to call human beings. And I created them to rule, to have dominion, the Bible says, and to manage. You have one responsibility, Adam and Eve. Take care of this garden and have fellowship with me. I am the God that wants to walk with you, talk with you, stay with you. But Adam and Eve was given everything. As a matter of fact, I like the way my translation says it. The first words God spoke to man, he said, "You are free." My God. You are free to eat of every tree except one. How come? God can give you everything and you still How come? God can give you an amazing wife and you still peeking at the secretary. Here we go. HOW COME? God can give you everything you ask for and he just asked for some time. He just asked to be prioritized and here's Adam and Eve. They lose and they lose bad. They lost the battle of the flesh because they ate of a tree and brought sin in. But here comes Jesus, our second Adam. He won. He won the battle over flesh. He didn't eat from a tree, he hung on a tree and brought salvation in. And so from the time of Adam all the way to the time of Jesus, we were separated from God. We were separated from God. It wasn't his choice, it was our choice. Because he's too holy to exist wherever sin is. And so to commune with man, God made a way. The Old Testament, he made a temporary way. Are there any global travelers in the room? Have you ever gone to another country? Sometimes when you go to another country, depending on where you go, you got to have what they call a temporary visa. Now, this visa can get you in. Sometimes it's a work visa, sometimes I'm just on vacation, dog. I ain't trying to bother nobody. It's a visa and it can get you into the country that you're not from, but you understand when you get there that you can't stay permanently because it's only temporary. Talked to a guy recently. Spoke to a guy. He said, "Man, I've been over here for 2 years. I'm from London and I've been working here in America and I've been going through all these hoops just trying my best to get permanent residency. As a matter of fact, my family is split up because it's so hard to in order to get a green card and for us to be over here permanently. And what I recognize is that citizens have different things that visitors don't have. For example, citizens have a passport. You can enter America whenever you feel like it. Matter of fact, I travel the globe in a couple weeks I got to go to Africa just for 1 day and I'm coming right back to my wife. Ain't that crazy? I do stuff like that. 1 day, literally, I land, sing a couple songs, get back on the plane the same day and I'm headed back to see my baby cuz I can't stay away. DID Y'ALL SEE THAT GIRL? I CAN'T STAY AWAY from her too long. >> ((applause)) >> I JUST CAN'T DO IT. AND WHEN I'M IN THESE OTHER COUNTRIES, I understand I'm a visitor. There's There's There's not laws to really protect me. There's stuff I can't get away with. But man, the moment I step back in America, I just get certain swag about me. I get a certain I walk a little different when I'm in America. I can vote in America. I have a voice. I can own property in America. I am protected in America because I am from this country. Your God is so God that when we violated his comfort. That's what sin does. He could no longer reside permanently in a place he created. He couldn't reside permanently cuz he ain't from here. And so what he decided to do was give himself a temporary visa. And the way that he orchestrated and made this way, HE MET WITH A GUY NAMED MOSES. AND HE SAID, "MOSES, I WANT you to create for me in the desert a tent of meeting." This is the tabernacle, the tent of meeting. It is where I am going to come and rest with mankind. For the first time from Adam all the way to here, from the garden to the tent, this is the first time God could rest with mankind. His glory could rest. And it rested on this thing called the mercy seat that existed on top of the ark of covenant, created, covered in gold, and placed in the holy of holies. This mercy seat, ladies and gentlemen, is believed to have had a blue flame representing the manifest presence of God that hovered and a cloud that hovered over that. And though on the outside it didn't look like much to the earthly eyes, this was God's earthly kingdom. In the spirit realm a lot was happening. And he would come, he would descend, the Bible says, and rest in this tent of meetings. But getting God to come was not the goal. The goal was always to get God to stay. For God to stay, there had to be laws, there had to be standards, there had to be sacrifices. There was a lot of things that had to be in place to get your holy God to stay on earth. And the law required continual sacrifice. Every day they would sacrifice and sacrifice and sacrifice. And even though they were going through all of this present gym, it still was just a temporary visa. It still wasn't permanent. And once a year they would have this thing called the day of atonement. It was a big deal because this is when the priest would go into the tent, but then he would go behind the veil, behind the curtain, into the holy of holies. And he would sprinkle lamb's blood on the mercy seat in order to atone for mankind's sin. But this did not remove sin. It just covered it temporarily. Uh So annually God's visa had to be renewed. And the only thing that could renew it was blood to give us access to him where he could rest where we were. But then something happened, ladies and gentlemen. Several centuries passed by and there was a man named Jesus who stepped up to the plate and said, "You know what? I got it from here." AND YOUR BIBLE says in Hebrews 10:3, I got to read it to you. It talked about the sacrifice. IT SAID, "BUT THOSE sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins." It says, "IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. Therefore, when Christ came into the world, I just got to give you the gospel. He said, "Sacrifice and offering you did not desire. But a body you made away. You prepared for me. My God. With burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. Then I said, 'Here I am.'" That's Jesus talking. "It is written about me in the scroll. I have come to do your will, my God." What I love about this Jesus that we're here celebrating, for those of you who don't know him, you're like, "Man, you got to really rowdy on this day." We're rowdy because we have a revelation that it cost him everything to give us access. It cost him everything in order to have permanent residence, not just around man, which was the hovering at the tent of meetings, and not just with man, Emmanuel, which was when Jesus walked on earth. But Acts chapter 2, the promise was fulfilled where it's not just God around us, not just God with us, but it's God in us. We have the Holy Spirit. King James called him the Holy Ghost. Is there anybody in this room that's grateful that the King of kings decided to reside in you? But this Jesus THIS JESUS DID SOMETHING THAT THE PRIEST COULDN'T DO. >> [laughter] >> HE DIDN'T USE ANIMALS' BLOOD. The Bible says in Hebrews chapter 9:12, this is powerful. With his own blood. Good God almighty. WITH HIS OWN BLOOD. NOT THE blood of goats and cows, he entered the most holy place with his own blood once and for all time and secured our redemption forever with his own blood. Ladies and gentlemen, it cost him everything. It was a gruesome death. As a matter of fact, they outlawed it. You can't even crucify people anymore because it was that gruesome. Consumed in his own blood, suffocating in his own blood. [laughter] He said, "You know what? Animals can only give them something temporary, but I'm going to do something permanently." So not only God can rest in man forever, but that mankind can have citizenship in heaven. Aren't you glad about it? He made a way. And the Bible says his body was torn. But his body was torn representing the curtain, the veil that was torn for us in order for us to have access into the most holy place. AND I'M SO GLAD ABOUT IT. WE DON'T HAVE to wait once a year and a half this high priest go through all of this ceremonial stuff just to give us access. But the Bible says we can come before the throne boldly any moment. You can decide to step behind the veil. Come on. And that's why the devil wants you to stay so busy so you forget you got access. Do me a favor, punch your neighbor in the kneecap and tell them use your access. You don't have to tolerate what the enemy's been sending your way. Use your access. You don't have to tolerate sickness. Use your access. You don't have to tolerate turmoil. Use your access. You don't have to tolerate depression and stress. Use your access. AT ANY MOMENT, BECAUSE OF THE BLOOD AND BECAUSE OF THE fact that the veil is torn, I can step behind the veil and I can say, "HERE I AM, GOD, JUST AS I am. I need thee. Oh, I need thee. God, do something for me. God, do something for my family." The sacrifice has already been made, ladies and gentlemen, because he made a way. You got 10 seconds to bless your God for making another way. I said bless him for making another way. The ultimate way. >> ((music playing)) >> I'm done. I love Easter. I love Easter cuz it preach by itself. I ain't got to give you nothing fancy. I just got to remind you that the way has already been made. My >> [applause and music] >> It's Resurrection Sunday. But this Easter is much different. It's 2,000 years after the inaugural Easter. The first Easter Sunday. The first Easter Sunday didn't feel like it feel today. We have a different vantage point. This Easter is different. You got on your lip gloss and your T.J. Maxx and feeling real good. This Easter is a lot different. The first Easter wasn't like that. Cuz the first Easter was filled with despair. Hopelessness. There's a story I want you to read when you get some time. It's found in Luke chapter 24. The Bible talks about these two men walking on this road to Emmaus. It's a 7-mile journey. They're walking on this road from Jerusalem to Emmaus. They're walking on this road and they're feeling hopeless. And they're feeling in despair. And they're talking with each other about, "Man, I can't believe what just happened." And the Bible says out of nowhere Jesus, the resurrected Jesus, appears behind them. And he says, "What you talking about, Willis?" And they look back, they say, "Oh, you don't know? You haven't heard?" The Bible says they were kept from recognizing him. He says, "You haven't heard all the events that happened?" He says, "There was a prophet who was hoping he was going to redeem Israel, but they crucified him. And he's dead. And they said, "What's worse is that some women went to the tomb today and they said, 'The body ain't there.'" It's one thing that they killed the guy WE PUT OUR FAITH IN. It's another thing that some people showed up to rob his body. I mean, THEY ALREADY KILLED HIM. WHAT THEY GOT TO DO WITH HIS BODY? And they're upset. And the Bible says Jesus says, "Man, y'all what?" Like, "What you saying?" The Bible says he walks him walked them through the Old Testament and remind them of the scriptures of everything that had to be fulfilled. And they still don't see it. And I love this about the Bible because it shows me that Jesus ain't in a rush with you. I wrote a little song called He Waited. He didn't just make a way, but he waited on you. Is there anybody in this room that's grateful he waited on you? We going home. ((cheering)) There's four things those guys learned on the road that day. Number one, he's God enough to walk with you. He walked with Adam. And now here's the second Adam walking with these two men. He's God enough to walk with you. 7 miles, he'll take his time, walk with you. Number two, he's God enough to talk to you. Is there anybody in this room that can testify that he's a God that will find you in your lowest place and begin speaking to you? They had questions not knowing they were with the answer. He's got enough to talk to you, man. He's a God He's a God who will speak to your broken heart. Here's a God that will remind you that you belong to him, that you have hope and a future. Ladies and gentlemen, revival is not a feeling. It starts with revelation. It comes when he speaks to you. But not only will he walk with you, not only will he talk with you, but he got enough to stay with you. My God. Here's what I realized in the story that you're going to read when you get home, Luke 24. The God will walk with you uninvited. But he only stays where he's wanted. And the Bible says he act like he was about to go a different direction. And the man said I don't have time. The man said, "Hey, where you going? Come stay with us." And the Bible says he went to their home. Here's a question for you. I want you to wrestle with these two. Have you made space for him in your life? Are you satisfied just having visiting hours with God? Have you made room for him in your heart? He's got enough to stay with you. Final point, not only will he walk with you, not only will he talk with you, not only will he stay with you, but he's got enough to wait on you. Here's what I love about this story. Man, after spending a full day with this man these two men, one of the men name was Cleopus. So we don't have to study any theology to know his nationality. Old Cleopus. They went to Cleopus' house. The Bible says they sat at the table. Some things in the Bible just obvious. Cleopus is pretty obvious. They sat at the table and the Bible says he took the bread and he blessed it and he broke it. And suddenly their eyes were open. They look at each other, Melody and Melly, and they said, "Yo, did not our hearts burn the whole time?" It's so powerful. The whole time he was with us, we should have known. The whole time he was with us something was happening. But it took the breaking of the bread. Broken bread, open eyes. Broken bread, open eyes. Broken bread, open eyes. The Lord told me to tell you it's It won't be until you get a revelation of what he's done that your blind days will end. >> ((applause)) ((music playing)) >> Some of us have been living blind because we haven't remembered that he broke his body for us. I'm done. They left Jerusalem. Jerusalem means place of peace. They left peace going to Emmaus. Emmaus means rest. Emmaus means Emmaus means it's a place It's powerful. It's a place where I'm trying to find comfort. They leave peace searching for comfort. And the Lord told me to let you know that peace is not the absence of conflict. They left peace searching for comfort and rest. Peace is not the absence of conflict. Peace is the promise of presence. And some of us have been running and searching and trying to find comfort and And the Lord told me to tell you you've been looking in all the wrong places. Not knowing THAT THE WAY HAS ALREADY BEEN MADE, LADIES and gentlemen. >> [applause and music] >> TRAVIS, HOW ARE YOU SO CONFIDENT THAT THE WAY WAS MADE? BECAUSE JESUS gave himself a title. He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. We going home." Not only was the way made, the way was with them. Ladies and gentlemen, when you receive him today as your Lord and your savior, your searching days are over. Ezekiel spoke to the dead bones, Jesus became the dead bones ((music playing)) in order to give us the greatest revival mankind would ever have. He got up and raised us up with him as a vast army. This is the greatest revival. This is the gospel that a king would come and prepare a place and make a way so that we could be with him forever. Here's the good news about Easter. You don't have to wait to go to heaven. When you receive him because the veil is torn you can invite heaven into your now. You can invite heaven into your life. You can invite heaven into your singlehood. You can invite heaven into your sickness. You can invite heaven into your despair. Right here, right now, the veil is open, his body was torn so that you can be made whole. Well, I'm done. Would you stand with me? He made a way. And he could have came down. That's always the part that tripped me up about Easter. He could have came down. Bible even says he could have called legions of angels, about 70,000 like that to come wipe out everybody. But I believe this. I'm crazy enough to believe this. I believe that in the moment he wanted to come down he closed his eyes and saw your face. For the joy set before him What's the joy set before him? Us. He endured. He said, "One day there's going to be a girl. She's going to be lost. She's going to need hope. So I got to stay here. One day there's going to be a man. He's going to be broken. He's going to need hope. So I got to stay here. One day there's going to be someone with diagnosis. They're going to need blood that's stronger than their sickness. So I got to stay here. Whatever it takes, this is my joy." You are his joy. Today you may feel like there's no reason to live. But life is worth living it cuz he lives. For one moment I want every eye closed just for a moment. I'm going to count to three. And if you're far from him you know your story. I want you to lift your hand like your life depends on it when I count to three because it does depend on it. Here's what you're lifting your hands to say. I want you to hear me very clearly. You're lifting your hands to say, "I am a sinner and I need a savior." But not only do I want him to rescue me I am ready to bow and submit to him as my Lord. That means my master. That means whatever he ask of me, my answer is yes. There's a guy in this room, maybe the yes you need to give is to God so you can finally say yes to the woman you've been treating like a wife but haven't given a ring yet. There's a woman in here and the yes you need to give to God so finally you can see your own value and quit settling for things that are less than. There's someone in here and the yes you need to give to God is so you can get out of street life and come to a God who can rescue you and clean you. And the biggest lie that you can buy is that, "Man, just give me time to get myself together." You know how many people in the grave that thought they could get theirself together? You know how many people got a life sentence that thought they could get theirself together? No, you need the fixer. You need the creator. You need the alpha. You need the omega. You need King Jesus to DO WHAT HE DOES. >> ((applause)) ((music playing)) >> AND HE DON'T HAVE TO MAKE A WAY for you. It's already made. All you have to do is receive it. It's your choice to reject or receive. Satan lost his chance when he fell. He don't get a moment of redemption, but you still do. And Jesus said in Revelation, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock." He's knocking today. >> ((music playing)) >> Would you receive him? Hands are about to go up all around this room. I'm saying I want Jesus as my Lord and my savior. I'm ready to say yes. One. Two. Three. If that's you, lift your hand high. Lift it high. Lift it high, church. Come on, lift it high. He said, "If you're ashamed of me down there, I'll be ashamed of you up here." Lift it high. Come on, let them see you. Let heaven see you. New beginnings. New beginnings all over the room. New beginnings. >> ((applause)) >> New beginnings. New beginnings. Come on. New beginnings. Come on, there's a lot of people that mean this thing. I'm proud of you. I saw him speaking to your heart. I'm proud of you for responding. Thank you, Lord. Hey, if you lifted your hand and we didn't get a book to you, can you keep your hand up for a moment? We need to put a book in your hand. Come on, hosts. We got some in the middle. I know it's a lot of people. I want to make sure you all get this book. It's so important. What it does is it explains to you the decision that you're making today. Hey, listen. This isn't a just an emotional decision. This is a real decision. This is like signing up to be drafted in the military. Like in World War II, when they went in, they called everybody and said, "Yo, I'm going in the military." Well, guess what? You just signed up for the army of the Lord. You're saying, "I'm going on the front line. If I die, I die. If people leave me, they leave me. If I lose everything, I lose everything, but give me Jesus." >> ((applause)) >> So, I want you to blow up social media. I want you to call everybody. TELL THEM. TELL YOUR MAMA. Tell your grandma. Somebody been praying for this day. Tell them, "I finally did it. Your prayers worked. God responded. HE MADE A WAY." That's what I want you to text them. "He made a way." >> [music and applause] >> And we're going to pray this prayer together. Pray with me, church. I want you to repeat me. Loud. With conviction. King Jesus. I'm a sinner. In need of grace. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. And thank you for getting up so I don't have to stay down. I believe you are the king of kings and the lord of lords. Change me from the inside out. I rebuke every trap of the evil one and I give you praise for making another way. In Jesus' name. Come on, church. Celebrate your God. with you right now. Each and every person that made that decision, we are so grateful that you took that step. We're so excited for you. We want to celebrate with you. We've got volunteers right now in the chat. They're putting a link in the chat. There might be a QR code on the screen, I believe, that you can click on, scan that, give us a little bit of information cuz we want to celebrate with you this week. This is not a decision that you make and then you live life on your own. We want to come alongside you as you move forward in your faith with Jesus. We're celebrating on this Resurrection Sunday. Happy Easter to all of our Forward Citizens. I was looking in the chat trying to see if there's some people I've seen before. There's Gilly in the chat, Teresa, Tasia, Lawanda, Clara, Shaniqua. Thank you guys so much for joining us this morning. Hey, thank you for being a part of this church from no matter where you are. We're grateful. Hey, here next week, we are going to have baptisms. That is what we call Jordan Sunday and we are so grateful for every single person that has taken that step today to say, "I'm putting God first in my life." But Jordan Sunday is where we have baptisms and where you go public with that faith. Where you're telling the world, "Hey, this is a step I've taken and I'm not going back. I'm leaving the old self and I'm moving forward with Christ." And so, that's next Sunday. If you are anywhere near 706 Two Notch Road, please make sure that you are here. Sign up today. You can sign up by clicking the link or scanning the code to sign up for Jordan Sunday. We're so grateful. Hey, coming up, we have Engage Culture LA. That's right. Engage Culture LA. We're so excited for all that God is doing in our church and each year we have had Engage Culture right here in Columbia, South Carolina. But this year, this year, everybody put it in the chat, say, "This year." This year, our pastor got a word from the Lord that said, "We are taking this outside Columbia, South Carolina." We'll be here, too. So, we will still have Engage Culture here in Columbia, but we are also going to have Engage Culture in LA. That is in July, July 22nd through the 24th. And so, mark that on your calendars. Make sure that you know that date. You have it there. Here in a couple weeks, registration is going to open to where you can let us know that you're going to come and be a part of everything that God is doing in LA through Engage Culture. We're so thankful that you joined us today for Easter. This week, if you want to be a part of Equip Night, make sure you join our online community. That's where you're going to get the link. That's where you're going to get to get access to that. But this week, make sure that you prioritize your time with the Lord. Everything that our church has been doing through the God through God plus the sermon a couple weeks ago, worship, we had Pursuit Night this weekend, and we are ending today for this weekend with Easter Sunday, which has just been a been a powerful time where salvations are happening and God is moving. Thank you for joining us here. Here at Forward City, we don't dismiss, but we simply declare your past is gone, your future awaits. Move forward.
