If you want to continue to walk in wholeness and prosperity, you have to have a devotion towards seeking intimacy with God over seeking formulas. Seeking intimacy with God >> [snorts] >> over seeking formulas. This is talking about your nearness with God. You want to begin to continue to walk in wholeness, you want to continue to walk in prosperity, intimacy with God. Now, somebody Yeah, I heard that loud and clear. Somebody sitting up here thinking like, man, are you teaching self-effort? No, self-effort is me trying to release effort to try to do what's already finished. That effort has been redeemed. We're talking about permitted effort. Effort to do things to increase your intimacy. God ain't going to make you do nothing to increase your your intimacy with him. We're talking about prayer. God ain't going to make you prayer pray. We're talking about sitting in His presence. God's not That's going to require what I call redeemed effort. It's different from self-effort trying to do stuff to be righteous. Well, that's already finished. Trying to do stuff to be healed. Well, you're already healed. Trying to do stuff to be redeemed. You know, you get on the cross and put tape around your wrist and saying, you know, no, no, no. You don't need to do what Jesus has already done. Your job is maintain what Jesus has already done. But, the labor involved in resting in finished works is the labor of aligning yourself with what's already done. And that labor looks like this. I'm going to meditate on the word. He ain't going to make you meditate on the word. That's my effort. I'm going to pray. He's not going to make you pray. I'm going to to confess the word every day. He ain't going to make you confess the word every day. These are things that we do in our devotion to God to enhance our relationship. So, what happens? We are now responding to the finished works of Jesus through our prayer, our worship, our devotion, our sitting in His presence, our growth, our relational growth with him. All of those things. So, when people say that there there's no more effort in the New Testament, there's no more effort in the New Testament when it comes to all of the finished works of Jesus, but there is effort when it comes to responding and participating in the finished works of Jesus by increasing your intimacy, sitting in the presence of God, doing those things that God's not going to do because it's going to require effort on your part to do those things to increase the relationship, the intimacy, and all those other areas. Does everybody understand? Okay, so intimacy over formulas. Intimacy over formulas. It's amazing to me people think that, well, I GOT THE FIVE WAYS TO DO THIS. I GOT A FORMULA TO DO THIS. And then you're dis- you're disappointed because now you're back into a transactional relationship with God. And you've relinquished your relational relationship with God. Let me Let me please let me let me make sure you understand. Your transactional relationship is I got to do this in order to get that. Transactional relationship says, I got to be good in order for to get God's good. But, a relational relationship says, I am in a relationship WITH GOD AND BECAUSE he's good and I'm in a relationship with him, I'M GOING TO GET GOOD WITHOUT A TRANSACTION BECAUSE THAT'S THAT'S WHO HE IS. THAT'S HIS CHARACTER. THAT'S JUST WHAT HAPPENS when you're in relationship with somebody who good. We got to get delivered from trying to make the transaction and go ahead and get in relationship with him. And now we have a relationship with God. Oh, really, boo-shala. That's who got saw that. Yes, Lord. The relationship with God is the branches in THE VINE. AND BECAUSE THE BRANCH IS IN THE VINE, EVERYTHING THE VINE HAS ENDS UP ON THE BRANCH. THE BRANCH DOES NOT HAVE TO NEGOTIATE WITH THE VINE for fruit. ALL THE BRANCH GOT TO DO IS ABIDE IN THE vine and then from THE VINE, THE BRANCH WILL HAVE EVERYTHING THAT THE VINE POSSESSES. >> ((applause)) >> THAT'S WHY HE WANTS A relationship with you. And you keep wanting to have a transaction because you have more respect for the formula than you do intimacy. And it's intimacy that keeps you at rest in the finished works of Jesus Christ. Seek intimacy with God over formulas. Grace-based prosperity is relational, not transactional. Grace-based prosperity is relational, not transactional. WHICH IS WHY I'M NOT GOING TO EVER GET UP HERE AND SAY, UH THE LORD JUST TOLD ME IF 100 PEOPLE IN HERE CAN GIVE $1,000. 100 people again All right, get in there. That's 100 That's 100 people lying right there. All right, the God SAID TO ME 10 10 10 PEOPLE CAN GIVE $1,000. ALL RIGHT, 10 10 THAT'S THAT'S That's all transactional. I'm not I'm not doing that. I'm not never going to do that. I'd I'd rather lose it all than to have to do that because I have a relationship with him. And I want you to have a relationship with him. And there's something that happens when you have a relationship with him. And so, prosperity and wholeness is based on a relationship, not on a transaction. Cuz when you're in a relationship, the money might not come through, BUT YOU STILL CAN SLEEP AT NIGHT. YOU STILL HAVE PEACE. YOU STILL GOT BECAUSE YOU KNOW IN GOD'S PERFECT TIMING THIS THING GOING TO BE ALL RIGHT. HE NEVER LET YOU DOWN. HE NEVER GOING TO LET YOU DOWN. >> ((cheering)) >> HE MIGHT BE EQUIPPING YOU FOR WHAT'S GETTING READY TO HAPPEN. YOU MIGHT NOT BE READY FOR IT RIGHT NOW. SOME OF Y'ALL AIN'T READY FOR NO $100 MILLION RIGHT NOW. BUT, YOU TRUSTING IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, HE WILL GET you ready. AND WHO SAID YOU HAD TO HAVE MONEY TO GET TO CERTAIN PLACES? GOD KNOWS HOW TO DO THINGS IN YOUR LIFE THAT DON'T REQUIRE A DIME. APOLOGIES FOR GOING OFF LIKE THAT. Praise the Lord. Seeking intimacy with God over formulas. Grace-based prosperity is relational, not transactional. It comes from abiding in him. Let me show you that scripture. John, uh chapter 15, verse 5. All right, now, we we we're going to get into some some heavy-duty stuff right now. Um after after I say the scriptures. All right, what did he say? He said, I'm the vine. Just so you know I wasn't making it up. Oh, was that a Was that that was a wonderful illustration. No, that's scripture. Ain't no illustration. That's in the Bible. I am the vine, you are the branches. Turn your neighbor and say, hello, branch. You ain't never going to be the vine. YOU AIN'T NO VINE. YOU'RE NOT THE VINE. Walk around here praising the Lord, I'm the vine. Did you say divine? Cuz you ain't the vine. >> [laughter] >> I'm the vine, you are the branches. It's pretty clear. He that abideth in me and I in him, the same bringeth forth much FRUIT. FOR WITHOUT ME, the vine, you can't do nothing. I I CARE HOW MUCH MONEY you put IN THE BUCKET. I DON'T CARE I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU WHO YOU HE DIVINE YOU THE BRANCH. WITHOUT DIVINE THE BRANCH DIES THE BRANCH AIN'T GOT NOTHING ON IT. YOU CAN'T GIVE CREDIT TO THE TO THE BRANCH THE BRANCH IS JUST A >> [laughter] >> THE BRANCH IS LIKE A MANNEQUIN it's just displaying the product. >> ((cheering)) >> You don't see no mannequin getting dressed in behind the store and then walking out and What God is saying in this area is that prosperity is already ours in Christ. Wholeness is already ours in in Christ. Nothing missing nothing broken is already ours in Christ. Abundant living is already ours in Christ. It's not about chasing wealth but about receiving his provision by faith. The key is resting in his supply rather than striving for his supply. I'm resting in his supply rather than striving and it it it is nothing like shortage that can make people start striving. Resting in his supply. My goodness. And you do that knowing that he is faithful to take care of everything concerning us. He's faithful to take care of everything concerning us. If you think you're about to lose it and you just Lord I don't know what to do. That's what this that's what this prosperity for. I will give you strength when you're weak. Oh Lord. I'm about to lose it because a a loved one died. He will give you the supply of what you need when the loved one died. Will you trust him? Look at Philippians 4:19. Here you go. Here you go. Here's what he said. We look at this as a money scripture. Uh-uh. But my God shall supply just your financial need? Just your peace need? My God shall supply all your need. How's he going to do it? According to his riches where? IN GLORY HOW? BY CHRIST JESUS. This is life talk man. Now listen to this. Grace based prosperity grace based devotion is a reflection of our union with Christ. My union with Christ my wholeness with Christ my prosperity is a reflection of my union with him. Glory to God. Under the old covenant prosperity was often conditional. And it was based on obedience to the law. If you look very carefully at Deuteronomy 28:1-10 it says if you if you if if you if you are willing and obedient you'll eat the the the the fruit of the land. It it talks about you'll be blessed with this this this this if you do this this this. But under the new covenant Jesus has fulfilled the law on our behalf and now our prosperity and our our wholeness flows from our position in him. Glory to God. My wholeness flows from my position in him. I'm seated with him. My wholeness flows from my position with him. I'm complete in him. My wholeness my prosperity flows from my position in him not from my performance with him. My position See my authority is based on my position and not my performance. We always thought it was based on our performance and not our position. It's my position. My my wholeness flows from my position. My prosperity FLOWS FROM MY POSITION in him not from MY PERFORMANCE not from my STRIVING BUT MY POSITION. YOU HAVE TO KNOW YOUR POSITION in him. I'm seated with him praise THE LORD. I'M COMPLETE in him praise the Lord. Look at Galatians 3:13-14. Galatians 3:13-14. See you see what I'm saying? We have been recalibrating our mind all all month. Recalibrating our mind. And you always have a choice. You have a you have a choice to receive the promise or the shame. Always. Always I'm going to receive the promise. A lot of times people hear things but then they won't go and activate them and then say it don't work. You It's daily. Look at this. Christ has redeemed us. Look at there. Half past tense done done it. He has redeemed and delivered us from the curse of the law. I have been redeemed from the curse of the law. In other words you were cursed when you didn't do the law. He says I've been redeemed from that. I I've been redeemed from that. Deuteronomy 28:15 starts talking about the curses of the law. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law being made a curse for us for it is written curses everyone that hangeth on the tree that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles. That blessing that was on Abraham is that blessing now that's coming on us through Jesus Christ. Through Jesus Christ. Glory to God. Jesus is the fulfillment of what God started with Abraham. Jesus is the completion of what God started with Abraham. That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ that we might receive the promise of the spirit through faith. And we have the faith of God and through the faith of God it is completed it is finished it is done it can't be undone. My blessing is completed and finished and can't BE UNDONE. I AM BLESSED I AM blessed it's done it's a done deal IT'S FINISHED. YOU HAVE TO WALK AROUND AND TELL YOURSELF WHEN your when your satellite has been knocked out of alignment. YOU HAVE YOU MAY HAVE TO WALK AROUND TODAY SAYING I REMIND MYSELF that the blessing that came through Jesus IS FINISHED. IT'S DONE. IT'S COMPLETED. It can't be undone. SO IF YOU'RE GOING TO GOD ON A DAILY BASIS SAY LORD HEAL ME. HE SAYS HEALED. LORD DELIVER ME. HE SAID DELIVERED. LORD BLESS ME. HE SAYS BLESSED. YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT GOD YOU'RE TALKING TO GOD TO DO YOU'RE TALKING YOU'RE TALKING TO GOD and asking God to do something he's ALREADY DONE. HIS RESPONSE IS DONE. LORD BLESS ME. DONE. LORD HEAL ME. DONE. OH GOD DELIVER ME. DONE. OH LORD MAKE ME RIGHTEOUS. DONE. OH GOD BE MY SUPPLY. I NEED A SUPPLY I NEED TO PAY MY BILLS. DONE DONE DONE. HE'S NOT DOING HE'S DONE. YOU KNOW how hard it is for religious ears to hear this? Because religion bases everything on performance striving trying to get done what's already done. But you you just have problem you can't receive that. You can't see that and until you do you're just not going to understand what it means to be a beneficiary of what's finished. Cuz religion says you got to get legalistic and you got to keep doing something in order for this to get done. And and and what happens then then then you leave here and go somewhere and you hear the opposite of what I'm saying and you fail to look deeper and say how is that working for you? Because you're deceived that they're prospering cuz they drive well they dress well and they live in a nice house. You need to dig a little deeper. How you sleep? How you peace? Let me talk to you wife. She said I can't stand that joke. That's wholeness. Yeah you got a car you got this and then we strive to want to get what we see. We we after the bag and not after after after the savior. It ain't going to work. I want to hear this. You know I heard Creflo on he off he in Venus somewhere. No I'm on Saturn now I was on Venus last week. You would think people would say well dang. Look at him. He's been in ministry for almost 45 men 45 years. And the offices around the world are still operating and and and going to parking lot you can talk to the people and the joy and See I can't let you into my inner sanctuary cuz you couldn't handle it. But, if I were, you would be like, "I'm changing my teaching right now." It's It's easy. I'm just ask you a question. How's that working for you? You work so hard to hold on to your religion. Hold on to what all you've ever known. And only come to church to HEAR WHAT YOU ALREADY KNOW. HOW DUMB IS THAT? Excuse me, I shouldn't have said that. Sweet lips increase learning. That wasn't sweet. That was nice nasty. That wasn't sweet. I don't want to come to church and just hear about what I ALREADY KNOW. TEACH ME. SHOW ME. TELL ME WHEN I'M MISSING IT. SHOW ME WHERE I'M WRONG. SHOW ME THE PATH. SHOW ME HOW TO WALK. SHOW ME HOW TO DO THIS. DON'T WATER STUFF DOWN. YOU SAY YOU LOVE ME. TELL ME THE TRUTH. AND EVEN IF IT STINGS A LITTLE BIT, IT'LL BE OVER WITH. TELL ME THE TRUTH. DON'T TRY TO DEFEND WHAT YOU'VE ALWAYS DONE. WELL, we all we we always did that. At the three churches I came from, we always did Well, why you ain't there then? All I want That's all I want. That's the only reason I'm still here is the gospel. Is the gospel of grace. That's the only reason I'm still here. Other than that, I would have gone when I had chance. And it wouldn't even thought about it. Somebody answer that phone. Tell them you're studying the word. Tell them you're in the gospel. And ask them how come they ain't here. All right. Listen to this. Listen to this. Listen to this. You might want to jot this down. This is so big. This is so big. All right. Listen to this. A key distinction here is that grace-based prosperity is not transactional. It is not about sowing to get, tithing to be blessed, or performing religious duties to unlock favor. You want me to say that again? The whole thing? Well, I don't think y'all on the bus. All right. All right. A key distinction here that grace-based prosperity is not transactional. Grace-based prosperity, grace-based uh wholeness is not about sowing to get. It is not about tithing to be blessed, You You You saw all these scriptures about you already blessed with all spiritual blessing in heavenly places. And then somebody come around and say, "No, you got to do this in order to be blessed." Well, I thought I was already blessed from the foundations of the world. It's not about tithing to be blessed, nor is it about performing religious duties in order to unlock favor. What is grace-based wholeness and prosperity about?
