And then I thank God that his presence will fill this house this morning. And all will be well with you. Amen. But everything that we receive we receive by faith. Now, listen to this carefully. Galatians says that faith worketh by love. Not not how much you love God. But how much Excuse me, not how much that it's not how much you love God, but it's it's how much you believe that God loves you. Now, let me ask you something, just for you to think about it. Get it in your head. Do you believe that God loves you? Okay. Now, do you also know that the enemy is trying to convince you to not believe that God loves you? And so when things happen it's easy he wants he wants you to be persuaded that how can God love you when that happened? Well, that's life. Well, well, how how do you know God love you? I how can you believe God loves you when he didn't do that? That's life. Listen to me now. That's life. What what you say, Kenneth? What you It's called life and nobody's exempt. It's life. We are spirit beings involved in a human experience. And and what I'm trying to get get us to see is that God can heal you of everything that hurts. But it's going to be because you believe he loves you. Because I believe he loves me, I believe he'll do what he promised me. Because I believe he loves me, I believe he'll take care of me. Because I believe he loves me, I believe he will heal me. But if you doubt that God loves you, watch this now. You're going to doubt what he promised you. So, let's settle that right now. God loves me and I know it. Come on. Come on, say it again. One more time. So, what should you say when things are looking a little messy? When the doctor just diagnosed you with something. When you just lost a loved one. When baby need a pair of shoes and you ain't got no money. This is what the enemy is trying to attack you with. The attack is not necessarily with your faith, although ultimately it is. The attack is to stop you from believing that God loves you with an infinite unconditional love of God. No matter what happens, you got to believe that God loves you. I I I I believe God loves me when I'm up. I believe God loves me when I'm down. I believe God loves me when I fall. I believe God loves me when I'm doing great. I believe I just believe God loves me. And that is enough power to put the devil in a paralyzed position. What is he going to do with an individual who walks around every day believing that God loves them. And so faith worketh by how much you believe God loves you. You believe God loves you this morning? I believe God loves you this morning, too. So, whatever you came in here wrong, you're believing throughout this teaching that God loves you and I believe you're going to walk out with something so, so amazing. Amen. Praise God. Father, we thank you for this another opportunity to minister to these your precious sheep. Thank you, Lord, that revelation knowledge will flow freely uninterrupted and unhindered by any satanic or demonic force. Now, Father, I pray that you will speak through my vocal chords and think through my mind. None of me and all of you. It's in Jesus' name we pray and everybody said, "Amen." If you have your Bibles, go with me to the book of 3 John verse 2. Get your pen, your pad out, your phones. Take good notes. I'm going to take the first 15, 20 minutes and we going to act like we in class. Cuz we got to learn something, right? Because we're dealing with this soul prosperity. Now, today uh we we are going to talk about soul prosperity, but we're going to talk about the soul-body connection. And I want to start off by defining soul prosperity. Why? Look at what he says here in 3 John verse 2. Beloved, I wish, a more appropriate term is I pray above all things that thou mayest prosper or that thou mayest be whole or that thou mayest be successful. The Greek word here is successful uh or flourish, okay? Uh he's not saying I pray above all things that you be financially fit. He's saying I pray above all things that you be financially fit, fit in your relationships, fit in your health, fit in every area of your life. He's talking about wholeness here. I pray above all things that you may be whole. Nothing missing and nothing broken in your life. But he uses the word prosperity, which is translated successful. I pray that you will be successful, that you will be whole, and that you be in health. So, now he wants you to be successful in every area of your life. That's what Jesus meant when he said, "I have come that you might have life and have it what? More abundantly." So, he says I want you to be successful in every area of your life. He uses this word prosper, which is means to flourish or be successful. And I want you to be in health. I want you to be in health. I want you to be successful and I want you to be in health. And he says being successful in every area and being in health is going to be based on this one truth. Even as your soul is successful, flourishes, prospers, even as your soul is whole, So, but check out what he's saying. IF YOU'RE NOT SUCCESSFUL in your soul, you won't be successful in any other area, including your health. That's serious. IF YOU'RE NOT SUCCESSFUL IN YOUR SOUL, you will not be successful you not you will not be successfully whole, and you won't be successful in your health because you neglect being successful in your soul. Mhm. Now, what is the soul? It is the mind. It contains the mind, the will, and the emotions. Your soul is your thinker, your feeler, your chooser. For a long time in church, we used the word soul and spirit interchangeably as if they are the same. You are a spirit being, you possess a soul. You are not your soul and you are not your body. You are a spirit being. You are a spirit being created in the image of God, looking just like God, perfect just like God. When you got born again, you are a spirit being, you possess a soul, which it which has your mind, your will, and your emotions. You have your thinker, your feeler, and your chooser. Amen. Your thinker, your feeler, and your chooser. Now, he is saying if you're not if you're not flourishing in your thinker, your feeler, your chooser. If you're not flourishing in your mind, your will, and your emotions, that will have a direct effect on you being successful and flourishing in every other area of your life, including your health. Now, to me, man, I see that. It's like, okay, so the area I'm I need to make sure I understand is soul prosperity, soul flourishing, soul success. And you can't mix it with your spirit. You are a spirit. Your spirit's already perfect if you're born again. You possess a soul. That's the software that needs to be updated, that needs to be changed, that needs to be successful, that needs to be flourishing. That soul area is where the enemy is trying to make his battleground. That's where he's trying to defeat you. So, that's got to be That's got to be taken care of. And you are NOT GOING TO PROSPER IN YOUR SOUL just coming to church and having a good time. You got to renew your mind. You got to You got to know some stuff. All right? So, let's spend a little time on defining soul prosperity and soul wholeness. All right. Now, first of all, soul prosperity is about the alignment and the health of the mind, the will, and the emotions. Soul prosperity is about the alignment and the health of your mind, your emotions, and your will being under grace, aligning your mind with the grace and truth of God, aligning your your your will with the grace and truth of God, um aligning your emotions with the grace and truth of God. So, everything about your soul needs to be in alignment with the grace and truth of God. That's why the Bible says, "Feast on grace." If your soul is mixing law and grace, then it is not successful. If your soul and your decisions are being made based on on the old covenant and not on this new covenant of grace, your soul is not prospering. It's not prospering. The soul prosperity is an alignment and a health of the mind, the health of the healthy mind, emotions, all of that is under the grace and truth of God. Soul prosperity is the flourishing of the inner life. Soul prosperity is flourishing the flourishing of your mind, the flourishing of your will, the flourishing of your emotions when it is anchored in the finished works of Jesus Christ and being continually renewed by the truth of the gospel. This has never gotten this detailed before. We we say renew the mind, but renew it to what? Renew the mind to the details of the gospel. You align yourself up with what? Align yourself Oh, I'm aligning myself up with the word. Is Are you aligning yourself up with the word rightly dividing that word so that you can be in alignment with the finished works of Jesus? SEE, IF YOUR SOUL IS NOT LINING up with the finished works of Jesus, you'll continue to try to get God to do something that he's already done. IF YOUR SOUL IF YOUR mind is not lining up with the with the finished works of Jesus Christ, THEN YOU'LL YOUR MIND WILL BE THINKING YOU GOT to do A, B, and C in order to accomplish what Jesus has already accomplished. If your emotions are not lining what lining up with the finished works of Jesus Christ, IF YOUR DECISIONS ARE NOT lining up with the finished work of Jesus Christ, with the gospel of Jesus Christ, with the grace of JESUS CHRIST, YOU'RE NOT SUCCESSFUL IN YOUR SOUL. AND THEN I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS. SOME CHRISTIANS, THEY JUST HANG ON WITH A LOT OF tenacity to what they've ALREADY LEARNED. YOU'RE NOT PROSPERING IN YOUR SOUL. YOU'RE NOT PROSPERING IN YOUR WILL. YOUR EMOTIONS ARE NOT PROSPERING. And and and and and it it won't be long before you'll you'll start getting evidence that your soul's not prospering cuz you start acting like somebody under the law. Cuz you're not prospering in in your soul. It's not material wealth first. It's the inner wholeness and stability that then allows eternal external prosperity. In other words, we're not looking at your material wealth first. That's in it, but that's not that's not priority. It's the inner wholeness first. Inner inner wholeness first and the stability that then allows that external prosperity. The inner wholeness produces the health, the the relationships, the the the the the purpose in your life, the provision in your life. All of those things begin to manifest because it's the inner wholeness. What's going on on the inside of you? What's happening in your thinking, in your mind, and in your will? It's not this transaction, I'm going to do this and God's got to do that. God ain't got to do nothing but stay God. Let me go Yes. Is everybody on the bus right now? All right, your soul your soul has got to So, it's your your your inner wholeness. Are you whole and flourishing in your emotions? Or are your emotions still subject to depression? Are your emotions still subject to brokenness? Are you not whole in your emotions? Are you whole in your will, your decision-making mechanisms? If you're not whole, if you're not making decisions according to the finished works of Jesus, you're not whole. You're not whole. Your mind Your mind Is your mind whole? What is it thinking all the time? Is it Is it thinking depression all the time? Is it Is it thinking nobody likes me, everybody hates me? It will What is it You're not whole there. And this goes This goes together when you talk about getting married. You don't want to go and get married to somebody who's not whole on the inside. If they don't have inward wholeness, then don't expect to see outward wholeness because they're not whole on the inside. And and and it's it's it's It's been to such a point that we have put in our in our in our in our in our thinking and in our talking, "I'm looking for my half." You don't want a half a man. And you don't want a half woman. You want somebody that's whole emotionally. You don't WANT SOMEBODY THAT'S HALF WHOLE EMOTIONALLY. That That doesn't even make sense. Because if they're not whole emotionally, that means externally you're going to see some real messed up stuff. You're going to see narcissistic behavior coming from a person who is not emotionally whole. You're going to see people You're going to get You're going to marry somebody who their minds not set on God, so their mind's going to be open to be set on something else. And whatever Whatever a man thinketh, that's that's what that's what happens. That's what becomes. Please, ladies and gentlemen, hear me. Somebody says, "Well, I read MY BIBLE." YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO READ YOUR BIBLE HARDLY BECAUSE YOU WON'T COME TO LEARN HOW to read your Bible. IF YOU READ YOUR BIBLE FROM GENESIS to Revelation like it's a storybook, and when you get to Revelation, YOU'RE GOING TO BE SO CONFUSED, YOU AIN'T GOING TO KNOW WHAT TO DO. SO, I'M NOT IMPRESSED WHEN YOU TELL ME I READ THE WHOLE BIBLE CUZ I'M GOING TO ASK, "HOW DID YOU READ IT?" Is everybody still on the bus? All right. Let's look at New Testament insights on soul prosperity before we get started. This is this is this foundation. We hadn't started yet. I should have told them don't even start the clock, but they have already started the clock. So, New Testament insights on soul prosperity. Number one, a renewed mind. A renewed mind. Brother, Romans chapter 12 and 2 said to be "And be not conformed to this world, but be what? Transformed." That word transformed means change. Said, "Don't be conformed to the world's system of doing, thinking, and feeling." Okay? Don't conform your thinking, your feeler, or your chooser. Don't conform it with the world's way of doing it. But be transformed or be what? Changed. How am I changed? By the renewing of what? My mind. And I renew my mind with what? The finished works of Jesus, with the gospel of grace, I renew my mind that you may prove with that renewed mind what is good and what is acceptable and what is the perfect will of God when you renew your mind. So, a prospering soul is a mind that has shifted from law-based thinking. A prosperous soul is a mind that's shifted from law-based thinking or sin consciousness. When I say law-based thinking, you have you have turned from sin consciousness, you have turned from fear, you have turned from lack. And now you've shifted to grace-based thinking. You have turned to innocence, you have turned to abundance, you have turned to sonship. That's what it means to have a renewed a renewed mind. All right. What about a peaceful Secondly, a peaceful or peace-filled emotion. Peace-filled emotions. Philippians chapter 4 and 7, look at that real quick. Peace-filled emotions. What does that look like? Verse 7 says, "And the peace of God, which passes understanding." Check that out. It It shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Peace-filled emotions. Emotional prosperity means living free from anxiety. Are you living free from anxiety? It means living free from bitterness and unforgiveness. Are you free from bitterness and unforgiveness? It means to be free from shame because the heart is settled in God's love. So, your emotions prosper because they're filled with peace. You're free from anxiety. You're free from bitterness. You're free from shame because your heart is settled in God's love. Well, what about the will? Let's look at this. All right, so we look at a renewed mind, a peace-filled emotion, we look at strengthened will, a strengthened will. Look at Philippians 2:13. Philippians 2:13 says this, a strengthened will. He says, "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." So, a prospering soul is not driven by self-effort, but it's driven by God working in you. My soul is driven by God working in me, shaping my desires in harmony with his will. And now, all of a sudden, what I will to do is how God has has changed my desires to will to do. I I God is working in me to give me the desires to do what pleases him. And so, when I'm in my relationship, I'm trusting God to change my desires to do what pleases him. So, my will now is governed by what the Holy Spirit is working on the inside of me. My prosperous soul is now driven by the God working in me. My prosperous soul My prosperous soul My strengthened will is driven by God shaping my desires in harmony with his purpose. So, we've covered the mind, the will, and the emotions. So, what what's the fruit I can expect? Everybody always want to know, "What do I get out of this? What's the fruit of a of a of soul prosperity?" Well, when your soul prospers, you can expect these five things. When your soul prospers, number one, you will enjoy inner peace despite the circumstances. When your soul prospers, you can enjoy inner peace despite the circumstances. Jesus says, "I'll give you my peace." What's Jesus' peace? Jesus' peace is peace in the middle of trouble. Peace tailor-made for trouble. And you know that as a result of a prosperous soul, a soul that prospers, you enjoy peace despite the circumstances. Number two, go to 1 Peter 1 and 8. Number two, you experience joy unspeakable. You experience joy unspeakable. Verse 8 says, "Whom having not seen, ye love, in whom, though now you see him ((music playing)) not, you believing, yet rejoice with joy unspeakable ((music playing)) and full of glory." When your soul is prospering, that's the experience you'll have, joy unspeakable. If you feel like you need to perform to be accepted or like you're always falling short, that's not grace.
