Confessions 04-09-2026

Good morning everybody. This is the day that the Lord hath made and we will rejoice and we will be exceedingly glad in it. It is an amazing Thursday and all is well with you. Uh remember, we're not moved by what it looks like. We're moved by the word of God.

And one of the things that I am sure of today is God's got your back. Amen. God's got your back. So, we're going to set the thermostat. Remember, we're not we're not just taking the temperature all day. Somebody woke up and said, "Oh, brother Dollar, you just don't know how I feel."

Well, that's the temperature. Let's go ahead and set it according to God's word and keep it set. And we're going to set our lives on. I'm blessed. I'm healed. I'm in the finished. It's completed. It's done. You're going to set it and keep it set. And and this is the wonderful thing about continuing to abide and set your life on the word of God.

Uh it it it's the the illustration with the the uh thermostat is so amazing because once you set the thermostat on the temperature you want the room to be, you keep it set and everything about that whole uh system starts working together to bring that atmosphere according to the setting.

And I thank God that the atmosphere of your life, uh, everything's working together. The Holy Spirit, the angels of God, everything's working together to keep you in that setting because it's finished and you're realizing that and before you know it, your atmosphere is now lining up with the setting.

And and I'm telling you, man, let's don't let go of the finish. Don't let go of what's completed. Don't let go of what's done. Um Amen. God is so good and I'm so excited. Woo. What y'all say now? Huh? I just love me some Jesus Christ. You understand what I'm saying?

Cuz I just wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him and I'm just thankful and I'm grateful and I'm grateful for you and I'm thankful for you. So, let's go ahead and let's get set. Psalms 91 equip. Are y'all ready? Psalms 91 equip. Repeat after me. Let's go ahead and believe and receive it.

I will dwell in the shelter of the most high God. I will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. God is my refuge and my fortress. You are my God in whom I trust and with great confidence in whom I will rely. God will rescue me from every trap and protect me from every disease.

I am covered and protected by his outstretched arms. God's faithful promises are my armor and my protection. I will not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor of the arrows that fly in the day. I will not dread any disease that stalks in the darkness, nor any disaster that strikes at midday.

Because God is my refuge and the Almighty God of my home, no evil can befall me and no plague can come near my dwelling. God has ordered his angels to guard, defend, and protect me in my house. God's armies of heaven will keep me from falling. I will walk unharmed and kick anything that is evil from my path.

Because of God's love for me, I will call upon him. He will set me above my troubles. He will deliver me from all my fears and he will honor me with his presence and power. He will reward me with long life and he will show me his salvation in Jesus mighty name.

Say out loud, I am Psalms 91 equipped and all is well with me and my house in Jesus name. And everybody said amen and amen. Hey, if you have your Bibles, grab it real quick. Let me let me give you something to to chop on and let's chop some things up here.

Um, if you have a Bible, go with me to St. John chapter 8 and verse 12. St. John chapter 8 and verse 12. Now, this is pretty powerful here. Um, we uh we we we we're coming from the story about the woman who was caught in the act of adultery.

You remember that? And uh all these religious people gathered around and they were going to stone her because she was caught in the very act of adultery, right? And so they pulled her out of with sheets and everything and Jesus was there and and u you know they tried to corner Jesus and and they said you know the law of Moses commanded us that uh such should be stoned.

But what do you say Jesus in verse six? And they said that tempting him that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down with his finger wrote on the ground as though he heard them not. He he was ignoring them. Right? So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself and said unto them, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her."

And then he stooped down again. And they uh and they which heard it being convicted by their own conscience because Jesus put put them in a place. He said, "All right, you going to stone this lady for our sins." Okay, fine. You're acting like you don't have none.

Okay, so anyone who doesn't have sin, go ahead and cast a stone first. And and it convicted them. And they went out one by one, beginning with the elders because the old folks knew they had a bunch of stuff going on. And so he said, "And even unto the last."

And Jesus was left alone and the woman standing in the midst. In verse 10 says, "And when Jesus had lifted up himself and he saw none but the woman, he said unto her,"Woman, where are those thine accuser? Hath no man," watch this word, condemned you. Wow. That's a lot of lot of condemnation going on in in the world, in the church.

And and Jesus is getting getting ready to deal with condemnation. And in fact, he's getting ready to give her a free gift of no condemnation. Verse 11. And she and she said, "No man, Lord." And Jesus said unto her, "Neither do I condemn you. Now watch watch what you can do when there's no condemnation.

Go and sin no more." Wow. I think the root to a lot of people's addictions and the way they carry themselves is they they're walking around with condemnation. But now he moves on into something here that I want to talk about today. Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world.

He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Now, we've heard all kinds of things. We've sung all kinds of songs about the light, you know, and then we go around talking about this little light and all that kind of stuff.

I'm ready to just deal with the light issue if you don't mind. Uh today, we don't need to be afraid of his light. All right? Why? Because when we enter that light in the new birth, that's when we come into that light. We come into that light when we realize and and we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

And what happens is his light because uh because when we enter that light in the new birth when we enter that light in the new birth we enter Christ Jesus himself. So let's make that very clear. Christ is the light. So when we enter the light now keep that in mind.

We enter the light. We we we we walk into a place. We entered the light when um we made Jesus the Lord of our lives. So the light does not expose our sin. I thought that I thought, well, man, I'm kind of scared of the light. The light going to expose my sin.

The light doesn't expose your sin. It reveals the perfection of Christ. And it reveals the perfection of Christ's blood in taking away our sins. So the light doesn't expose our sins. It reveals to us the how the blood has taken away our sins. And notice the phrase shall not walk in darkness.

You see that? Shall not walk in darkness. Today for us the believers who are in Christ Jesus, who are in the light, I'm going to say something is strong. It's impossible to walk in darkness ever again. So because we're in the light, we we it's it's we're walking in Jesus, man.

You understand? So we still sin now. uh we still sin but we will never be in darkness again. See the thing the the thing that made the difference is you know you got rid of that that old man died and the new man came that new man that new creation came on the inside of you and um it's so important for us to realize that today for believers who are in Christ God has really set us free.

We live our lives through him. Now, you remember 1 John 1 and verse 7, if you have uh your Bibles, 1 John chapter 1 and 7. And and I hope I'm not speaking too fast, but verse 7 says this, "But if we walk in the light, notice, if we walk in the light, not light that exposes our sin, but as we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another.

And the blood of Jesus Christ, his son, cleanses us from all of our sins." And that's what the light's trying to show you. The light's trying to show you the power of the blood. The light's trying to show you that you've been cleansed from all of your sins if we walk in the light.

Now, let me just pause. If you have a performancebased mindset, if you have a workbased mindset, uh then you'll see this phrase like um you know, you'll see it as talking about behavior. All right? We see a phrase like this one, people automatically think or assume that they're talking about how you behave, how you behave.

Look at that verse seven again. But if we walk in the light, most people look at that phrase and say, "Walking in the light is how you behave." Well, if you behave right. No, no, no, no. This phrase is not referring to how we walk. Behavior, it is referring to where we walk. and where we walk is going to impact how we walk.

Did you get what I just said? It's not referring to behavior. It's when he when he says this in first John 9 uh uh 1 John 1:7, this phrase is not referring to how we walk, behavior. It is referring to where we walk. Whoa. Did y'all see that?

And where we walk, we're walking in the light. Where are we walking? In the light. And when we walk in the light. When we walk in Jesus, I tell you what, it'll change how you behave. It's not saying if we behave ourselves like Jesus behaves himself. Then the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all of our sins.

But you got to behave yourself like Jesus behaves himself. That don't even make sense. If you're behaving yourself like Jesus behaves himself, then you don't need to be cleansed. You see how sometimes we get so religious and we just we miss the whole thing. I'm if you if if I'm if you say it's behavior.

All right, let's say it's behavior. But he says, "All right, if you behave yourself like Jesus behaved yourself." Now, where am I getting that from? But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, I'm saying if you say that, that means behavior. So if we behave ourselves like he behaves his like he behaves himself then we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus cleanses us of all of our sins.

So you know it can't it doesn't even make sense to even apply that that that's talking about behavior. Child of God if you behaving yourself like Jesus behave yourself you don't need to walk in no light. You don't need to be cleansed of your sin. Glory to God.

Hallelujah. Praise God. Why would we need the blood of Jesus to cleanse us if we were already perfect? Because that's how Jesus moves. That's how he that's how he that's how he rocks. All right. This scripture is talking about the realm we are in as believers, not the way we are performing.

We are in the light because we have been cleansed from all of our sins. Glory be to God. We have been cleansed from all of our sins because I am in him. Let me I think I got some time. Let me show you this scripture in Colossians chapter 1 and 12.

Oh, say out loud, I've been cleansed from all of my sins. And and don't let the devil ever, you know, try to trick you with that. All right. Colossians chapter 1 and verse 12-4. Giving thanks unto the Father which has made us meat to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints where in light.

Saints in light who hath delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear son. In whom we have past tense redemption through his blood we have even the forgiveness of our sins. That's what we walking bro. I don't know where you walking, but that's what we walking.

We walking in the light. And then look at First Peter. I'm not trying to throw a bunch of scriptures on you. Y'all know I'm just fired up. I had an amazing morning. Amazing time with the Lord. And And I got all this energy, so I got to let it off on somebody.

Praise God. Might as well go ahead and release it off on you. Amen. 1 Peter chapter 2 and verse 9 and 10. He says, "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that you should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light, which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God, which had not obtained mercy, but now you have obtained mercy."

Boy, y'all need y'all need to shout. Y'all need to go in the bathroom and and and put a step on right there by the by the by the by the throne. I'm telling you, man, if you are a believer, you are in the light. That's simple, right? If you're a believer, you're in the light.

And you walk where God is because you are in Christ and he is in you and you're in the light. You're not the light. Jesus is the light. You walk in the light. You walk in Jesus. Praise God. Amen. So the word cleanses that we just read here um in and in in and well let's go back to 1 John 1:7.

If you walk in the light as he is in light then your blood of Jesus cleanses you. The word cleanses in this verse is in the present active indicative verb tense. I'll explain all that later. Uh and that's where it appears in the original Greek. When I really want to nail something down, I go to original Greek.

So, uh, the present tense means that the blood is effective right now. And this is why I bring this up. It's it's the blood's effective right now. It is forever keeping us in the light. Lord have mercy. I'm about to throw these glasses off. Did y'all hear that?

It is forever keeping us in the light. I I am I I'm forever being kept in the light, bro. By the blood of Jesus, I am forever being kept in the light. That's what he's talking about. This this cleansing is it's present tense, man. I am forever being kept in the light.

Why? This is because our spirits are in Christ completely holy and protected by the blood of Jesus. And the blood of Jesus has separated us for sin from sins forever. Man, I tell y'all what, boy. Y'all y'all need to go on y'all need to go on dance shout.

Woo, man. So So I wanted to share this because people always when they hear the light, they're they're thinking it's talking about behavior. It's it's where you walk. And and where do we walk? We're born again. And now that we're born again, Jesus is the Lord and personal savior of our lives, we're forever, forever in the light.

Hallelujah. I'm telling you, man. You know, I know there's a lot of things to get done on the earth, and I know the earth is a big place, and and I know we got to get the gospel out, but bro, I I I long to see Jesus. I really, man.

Wow. He's awesome. And I'm trying to spend the rest of my time on the planet just trying to tell somebody about what he's already done so they can realize it, submit to it, receive him, rest, and when trouble shows up and even before, learn how to echo the promises of God.

So yeah, I probably need to get off this thing before I start balling. You know, just thinking about Jesus and what he's done for me, my soul gets happy, boy. And um woo, grace gang, this is getting pretty heavy, man. The more and more we talk about Jesus, the more and more we realize his love and more and more we realize that we're not bringing anything to the table, that he accepted full responsibility for our redemption, for our righteousness.

Wow. You know, all is well with you. You hear me? You know, life keeps showing up every day, so you can't run away from it, right? Um, but you reign over it because you in life, in this life, you are living in the finished realm, the realm of the finished.

And all is well with you. Amen. I pray you have an excellent day today. A day that that's filled with excellence. A day that's filled with excellence. I pray that that you hear God's voice today. God's voice is like it's like nutrition, you know, and it nourishes you for whatever you're facing.

All is well. All is well. Y'all feel me? Y'all y'all already know. I mean, y'all I mean, the same anointing I'm feeling here, there's no time or distance in the realm of the spirit. That same anointing that I'm feeling right now, you're feeling it wherever you are. Some of y'all might be on airplanes and and trains and you know some of y'all might have shouted in front of folks and said, "Oops, excuse me."

But sometimes you just, you know, when you when you know God for yourself because you walk with him, you you really walk with him, then it's a difference when we hear these words spoken and we see these scriptures, it does something to us and it uh it it it causes our spirit to leap.

And uh God's not finished with you yet. All right? So, I don't know what kind of day you had yesterday. I don't know what you were told. I don't know what the news is. But he got you. Believe me, he got you. All right? He got y'all. And we going to be all right.

Come hell or high water, we'll walk on the water and we'll we'll we'll we'll we'll we'll we'll handle hell if it comes because God's got you. We live in him. We move in him. We breathe in him. He is our life. How How' you say it like that?

Somebody said this. God is my oxygen. That's But that'll do it, right? I'm about to test something. I'm about to knock these computers off the thing. That's right. God is my oxygen. In other words, I can't I can't live without him. He's a He's a necessary source in my life.

Amen. Hey, if you guys need prayer for anything, I don't know, maybe the spirit of God stirred some stuff in your heart. You might even try to figure out what's going on. Some of you, I believe, had an aha moment. Some of you had a moment in your heart where it just kind of leaped and you're like, I want this Jesus as my Lord and personal savior, too.

Um well, I'm just telling you right now in the name of Jesus, he is good. He is good. Amen. He is so so good. Uh so, uh yeah, man. All is well.
