you got a spirit of rejoicing tonight got a spirit of excitement tonight amen no depression in the house no stress in the house no anxiety in the house no burdens in the house let's be released tonight in a spirit of joy in a spirit of praise our praise goes up his presence come down amen this is the day this is the day that the lord hath made we're going to rejoice and no sadness in this tent hallelujah rejoice in the lord always and again i say rejoice amen you may be seated all over the house thank you for being here this fall weather is coming upon us quickly amen feels good i like little i like a little hoodie weather thank you for being here tonight and uh of course we'll be we'll be transitioning in the coming weeks and the coming couple of months into our from our fans to our heaters and so we'll certainly make everything comfortable and accommodating we don't want it to be too comfortable it is a tent revival amen so we gotta have a little bit of the elements in the atmosphere but i i love our wednesday nights amen you know it's funny we've been under the tent now a few wednesday nights and uh i don't even remember what the building looks like anymore i've not even been down there and that's just all turned into the to the because the kiddos kingdom we call it right to all of the gv students and so they're all down there all the young people but uh what what a blessing to have an auditorium that that you can't even functionally use on wednesday or on the weekends because people just keep showing up because people are hungry that's a beautiful thing there's a time that this crowd right here on a wednesday night would have been double the size of any easter crowd we would have ever had a global vision and it's just unbelievable to watch what the lord's doing i know a lot of people like oh yeah we love what's happening on sunday i love what's happening every day around here small groups are blossoming and you know it's i know it's it's fun on sunday when the place is packed and standing room only we're baptizing 50 people that's i love that it's it's fun but i love bible study and prayer meeting too man i love just getting together with god saints and just worshiping and just bearing each other's burdens and just being here for a purpose i'm here for a reason i want to hear from god tonight and i believe i've heard from god tonight before i got here and so i got a word that i want to share with you that that i trust the lord will use i was a little bit late i knew i was going to i told my wife i said i'll be coming in on two wheels uh it's i normally i'll either go super early or super late at night to the tree to pray and i've been on the road a lot just just preaching and running hither and yawning so i've not got to go as much as i want to and and so like at five o'clock i just went home i said hey honey i need to borrow the car i said i think the lord wants me to go to the trees at five o'clock it's almost church yep i'll probably be late but i just feel like god wants me to go to the tree before church so i did and i'm glad i did and i'm glad i was a little bit late because god just put a little something in my spirit i want to share with you in bible study here in just a little bit how do you believe god still speaks to his children amen he does that so tonight we want to go into a time of worship which we would consider a time of prayer and man you talk about some prayer requests we got a stack of them tonight we had like double the stack that we normally have calls coming in text coming in emails coming in facebook messages coming in all the time of all the people just just begging asking requesting that we pray for them and their families a lot of things going on and i'll tell you we're living in some chaotic days aren't we man more sickness more attacks from the enemy than you could ever imagine more attacks on people's homes and marriages more wayward children last night we were in ohio and they had a tent set up that would it would maybe supposed to seep like 200 people they crammed like 385 400 chairs under it and then 550 people showed up and it was just it was just packed and i'm used to being able to preach and turn things over to the pastor and maybe catch my breath for a minute right and just kind of transition to the book table and meet and greet line and all of that last night there was no transition time they just began to come forward and i mean we just i probably stood in line and prayed for people longer than i have in a very very long time i don't mind that but you talk about just grueling and just the the excitement and the anticipation of that but it just drains you just laying hands on people and praying over for just one after the next problems and cancer and divorce and wayward children and bankruptcy and losing their job because they won't take the jab and all of this unknown i mean just person after person just weeping after weeping tear after tear after tear after tear and we walked away realizing that people are the same everywhere they just need a touch from god they're the same everywhere i don't care if i'm in ohio i don't care if i'm in tennessee i don't care i'm under a tent in some beautiful building people's needs are the same everywhere we need jesus and he's still the hope of the world i'm not looking for anybody to swoop in and save us except jesus and so tonight we want to we want to pray for a lot of people tonight on these cards that need prayer if you're watching on facebook and youtube and our streaming platforms just just put your prayer requests right now immediately this very moment right there in the comments section hundreds of people all over the world will pray for you i promise you there are thousands of people watching live right now and tens of thousands more that will watch it later and people will pray for you so just put your per request right there in the comments section and while that's going on two things will be going on my wife will be down front we'll have a big old stack of prayer requests as you'll see and i want people to come and get these requests you can take them back to your seat but there's something about humbling yourself on the ground and just coming forward and just kneeling at an altar i know this is just a staging area and there's nothing spectacular but you know what we call it an altar because it'll alter your life if you use it every now and again it'll change your life it'll change your home it'll change the atmosphere of this place if you'll just find a place where you kneel or you stand and lift your hands and you just fully surrender completely to god and you out loud pray over these requests you say well what if we're all praying out loud at the same time god can understand every bit of it every bit of it and then while that's going on we'll have some folks in our prayer team that'll be standing right down here we'll pray with you pray for you pray over you pray around you lay hands on you and whatever it is if you walked in we said every week if you walked in with a burden it's your fault if you walk out with the same one we have people that are pray healing over you and pray blessings over you and play peace and joy and comfort and encouragement over you sometimes you just need to know there are people in your corner that are praying for you no matter what addiction you're struggling with no matter what you are dealing with no matter how far down the steps your week or your day has been a bad day does not mean you have a bad life a bad week does not mean you have a bad marriage right a bad mishap with one of your kids does not mean that you're a sorry and a bad parent it just means bad days happen and sometimes you just need people to lay their hands on you say you know what the sun's going to shine again it's going to be all right god's still on the throne and so i want my beautiful wife to come and she can begin to pass out these cards you stand all over the room even if you're a guest we'd love to have you come pray with us tonight you come grab these prayer requests come let's lay all over this area up here and pray and if you need prayer just come to my right your left let somebody lay hands on you tonight get that healing you need tonight come tonight and you just share the burdens on your hitting its knees and coming before the throne room of god if we get thinned out on the prayer request although there's many many many of them when you're done with yours just hold them up one of our to preach i love our worship i love to give i love fellowship and meeting and greeting and baptismal celebrations but i'm telling you everything god's doing is because of what we're doing right now on our knees and his presence everything don't take it for granted very few churches on the planet emphasize prayer anymore but jesus said my house will be a house of prayer that's his prerogative that's his command for the body of christ so you come let's pray ((music playing)) folks are still coming still have a few left people praying all over the place many many folks over here being prayed for there's still time for you if you've not come yet and you need some prayer come on come on the ((music playing)) father we enter into your gates tonight god and we just come with our thanks to you lord lord we thank you that you are faithful you are faithful when we are not the bible says great is thy faithfulness o lord so tonight lord we just come and we thank you that you are faithful lord with everything going on and as pastor said just a few minutes ago so many people burdened and just carrying so much on top of them right now lord whether it be their marriage whether it be health problems whether it be children or their job or whatever it is lord we know that you are in control and so tonight lord we bring all of our requests to you we have made our requests known to you tonight lord and lord we thank you that you hear the prayers of your children and lord that you answer us and it may not always feel like your answer comes on time but you are an on-time god and so we thank you for that and lord while we're waiting we are going to praise you because there is something so beautiful in the weight in the stillness of being in your presence knowing who you are that you are the great i am you said i am that i am and so lord we know that no matter what is going on that you are still emmanuel you are still god with us lord we thank you that we have a hope as the anchor to our soul that we can trust in you god lord we thank you that you are sitting on the throne room of heaven right now and lord that you have allowed your presence to come down in this place lord you have just opened up the windows of heaven and lord we are so thankful to come and to fill your spirit to fill your presence but lord the truth is is that we don't have to come here to do that we could be in our car we could be in our closet we could be in our bed we could be at our cubicle at work lord it doesn't matter where we are because you are an ever-present god and so lord we can rest in your presence every moment of our lives lord we can pray without ceasing and know that you are with us your word says that you will never leave us and you will never forsake us and so lord we just thank you that no matter where we are we can abide in your presence we can go into the shadows of the almighty we can enter into the secret place lord and god we can sing praises unto you and lord we can pray and lord we know that you will turn everything for good to those who are called by the lord jesus christ lord that is a promise in your word that you work all things together for good and so lord tonight we just come and we stand on your word god and we say that we know we know that we know that we know that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we could ever ask or think and so lord tonight we just thank you that you can do what we cannot do lord that you can come in and you can bring life where there is death lord you can bring restoration and healing and wholeness to us god where we are broken you make us whole when we are frustrated and chaotic god you can bring us peace because you are the prince of peace and so lord we just thank you that you are everything that we could never be and lord we thank you that in your word it says that it is finished it is finished for and so tonight we just thank you that no matter what we're facing we know that your word is true we know that you came and fulfilled the law for us and lord that it is done there's nothing that we can add to that and nothing that we can take away from that father and so lord we just thank you we thank you for who you are the great i am yahweh the name above all names lord we just worship you and we praise you in jesus name amen let's just stay in this posture of prayer and worship cause jesus you don't know me anything but more than anything that you can do i just won't use and i'm sorry when i've just gone through the motions i'm sorry when i just sing another song take me back to where we start i open up my heart to you and i'm sorry when i've come with my agenda i'm sorry when i forgot that you're enough take me back to where we started i open up my heart to you ((music playing)) and i just want to sit here at your feet i'm caught up in this ((music playing)) oh i'm not here for blessings jesus jesus you don't know me ((music playing)) i just want you i just want you and nothing else and nothing else nothing else we'll do i just want you and nothing else holy nothing else nothing else will do i just want you and nothing else let that be your heart tonight heads up the cross our jesus christ and they not forget the lord he said is by his death i am alive because of christ i am ((music playing)) ((music playing)) except the cross jesus christ may i not forget the blood he shed it is ((music playing)) ((applause)) ((music playing)) it is because of christ i am ((music playing)) jesus ((music playing)) is ((music playing)) except the crossings ((music amen beautiful song beautiful truth you may be seated i want to invite you for a few moments tonight to a very familiar verse perhaps from many of you in the bible and i intend to only deal in context with the one verse tonight expositionally that is i want to explain it and explain to you why it's on my heart tonight but it is it's one of those verses that a lot of people divert their messages from ever quoting and people don't like this verse and it's not a verse that's that's a coffee mug verse i can promise you of all of the t-shirts you have seen at lifeway and all the bumper stickers and and all of the the happy-go-lucky coffee bug coffee mug early morning facebook posts this is not one of them for the purpose of encouragement although i want to encourage you tonight because the word of god is indeed that it is the word of the lord and so i want you to find your place while the students are finding their place and they'll be heading out so all of our students 6th grade through the 12th grade and while they're leaving i want you to go to revelation chapter 21. would you please revelation and chapter 21 tonight in the word of the lord revelation and chapter number 21 let me remind you that if i had one pastoral pet peeve in the world it's when you add an s to the book of revelation there is no book of revelations in your bible it is one continuous revelation of the lord jesus christ and so the book of revelation not the book of revelations all right just so i'd get that out there praise god and i want you to go to chapter 21. we're going to pray i'm going to read the verse and then i'm going to just give you a quick backdrop as to why i want to preach on this for a few moments tonight and then we want to pick apart this this very controversial verse and it's not why i'm dealing with it you know a lot of times people say things like this well we wish that you were as bold biblically as you are politically well first of all i don't know what that means because i view it all through the lens of scripture praise god but uh if you were looking for me to be more bold biblically than i am politically you're in the wrong in the right house tonight right you're in the right place because uh this is a verse that is bold all by itself this is a verse that is bold just at the reading of it not even the teaching of it and so i want to remind you if you are here if you're visiting or if you're watching online if you are used to you know skittles and cotton candy and a lot of msg in the preaching then this is going to be one of those opportunities where after you've eaten candy for so long and somebody tries to feed you a steak you get the get the gag reflex this is a gag reflex verse right here okay and it's not why i'm teaching on it but it's in the bible so we got to deal with the whole council of god as we said last week have i now become your enemy because i tell you the truth and so tonight i want to give you a prophetic warning from the most prophetically warned book in the entirety of the bible the book of revelation so let's pray and we're going to jump in father tonight i pray that you'd settle our hearts i pray you'd calm our spirits i pray lord that we'd be anxious for nothing and lord we've prayed we've come before your throne we've come before your presence you are here tonight it is evident in this place so remove distractions may they fall to the ground like chains and may we focus on the bible it's a big book it's a beautiful book but one verse tonight needs to be dealt with and so i pray in this room and online right now and later tonight and tomorrow whenever this is viewed and watched again and again and again that lord tonight the warning would be heeded because we are not going to deal with thus saith greg locke and global vision we are going to deal with thus saith the lord god almighty tonight so gather glory unto yourself and we thank you for what you're about to do in the mighty name of jesus our savior we pray and all of god's people said revelation chapter 21 notice if you would please verse number eight but the fearful and unbelieving and the abominable and murderers and whoremongers and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone which is the second death this is not one of those verses that you would put in the introduction to a book entitled how to win friends and influence people this is not a coffee mug verse this is not a happy-go-lucky verse this is a verse in the bible that is scary let's just be honest it's a verse in the bible that's very abrasive but it's there for a reason in the context he has just referred to what is going to take place in the kingdom when god makes all things new and he tells us that the people that will enter the kingdom of god are the spiritual victors those that have overcome the world by faith now understand they do not overcome in order to be saved they overcome because they are saved and they inherit what god has made for them as a proof of the power of the gospel transforming their life but in contrast to that god now tells us the people that will not make it into the kingdom the people that will not make it into what we call heaven the people that will not make it into the prepared rooms of the mansion that john 14 1-6 clearly teaches from the lips of jesus but i say this tonight when i went to the tree every now and again you can hear a train in the distance you hear airplanes all the time because it's extraordinarily close to the airport but when i was at the tree today i was praying i said lord i just i need you to drop some stuff in my spirit lord i've got a few things i'm burdened about some things i'm praying about and i said lord i just i just want to feel your presence and i love it when i ask god that and the wind picks up that always helps me out real good amen so it got windy and off in the distance i could hear it that train come across in tracks you better look out don't park on the tracks you better watch the lights watch the crossbar and in that moment revelation 21 8 flashed in my heart in my mind and i can call it a prophetic warning because it's from the most prophetic book in the whole bible these are things that are happening now things that will happen and you can bank on the fact that if god said these people will not inherit the kingdom then these people shall not cannot and will not inherit the kingdom jesus did not say you should be born again he did not say it would be a good idea to be born again he did not say go through life and live with a hope so think so maybe so or the deacons are going to vote so he said ye must imperative command ye must be born again the most important decision on the planet is the fact that you know jesus christ has radically changed your life because of the power of the gospel jesus is not one of many ways to heaven he's the one and only way to heaven that is plain in the bible that is a theological fundamental staple of christianity and without that you have nothing but a man-made manipulated religion jesus is the cornerstone to everything we believe in christianity but in revelation chapter 21 and verse 8 he's very plain he's going to show us the the opposite of what it looks like to be a victor the opposite of what it looks like to be an overcomer he says these people shall not inherit the kingdom of god as a matter of fact they shall have their part it literally means their inheritance because they earned it in the lake of fire revelation 21 verse 8 notice what he says he says but the fear full i find it interesting that the cowards are the first ones to go to hell you heard what your pastor just said right he said the fearful those that are cowards are the first that are turned into him jesus said if you're ashamed of me before men i'll be ashamed of you before my father which is in heaven and we have created a culture of cowards not just in america but around the world i'm not just talking about the covet debacle i'm not just talking about six feet social distancing and mask and vaccinations i'm telling you there's a spirit of cowardice that has gripped the hearts of people and by the way that spirit of cowardice has gripped the pulpits of america and when you have fearful pastors you will have fearful parishioners there is no doubt about that and the bible says right here clearly in verse 8 of revelation 21 as a prophetic warning that the first people to be turned into hell are the cowards now why is it that he says the fearful cannot go to the kingdom because faith and fear are diametrically opposed and they cannot flow in the same vessel at the same time now he does not say there will not be times for fear i get it he is referring to a consistency of somebody that is a coward that lives in fear and they're shy and timid with their faith because there is no faith and have you noticed there are so many people that say well you know one day i feel like i'm saved one day i'm not you know maybe i am maybe i'm not let me tell you something if you're born again people will know it if you're saved you will know it let the redeemed of the lord say so whom the lord hath redeemed out of the hand of the enemy fooly on this nonsense that you've been saved by the glorious gospel-filled god of the universe and nobody knows about it that is heresy that is rotten theology to say that you are born again and nobody knows about it if you are born again everybody ought to know about it and you shouldn't be ashamed to share the gospel of jesus christ you may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer you don't have to know everything there is to know about john's highway or the romans road or the ten commandments but at the end of the day you can tell what tell people what jesus did for you if he actually did something for you right but he said the first people to go to hell are the cowards hell gonna be quite full isn't it the fearful do not inherit the kingdom of god that's not what greg said that ain't baptist theology that ain't church of god theology that ain't pentecostal theology that is bible theology plain right there the fearful shall have their part in the league of fire you know why we've raised a generation of fickle individuals because we've raised a generation of cowards our churches are filled with cowards our politicians have been overrun by cowards the world is run by cowards and i say unto you ladies and gentlemen life's too short to die a coward and the first people to go to hell on judgment day are the cowards they are unwilling to stand up and herald out the truth because they themselves have never been set free by the truth now that's what the bible says the cowards god's not giving us the spirit of fear but of love power and a sound mind i'm not real smart but i'm not going to concede that i'm real stupid either so don't say amen but if god's not giving us that spirit then somebody else has and you better know something about me i do not have a spirit of fear i may have a spirit of wisdom at times i do not have a spirit of fear and i can promise you there is not biblically politically financially maritally i don't care how you slice it or there is not an ounce of cowardice in me i'm done with cowards i ain't fellowshipping with cowards i ain't preaching for cowards i ain't pastoring cowards i ain't messing around with cowards i ain't going to dunkin donuts with cowards because cowards are the first one to go to hell is what the bible says the fearful we could preach a series on each one of these words but notice what he says but the fearful and unbelieving now you would think that that's a given right well if you're unbelieving of course you don't go to heaven unbelieving here means full tilt rebellion they refuse to believe the truth of the gospel they got their own way they got their higher power well you know brother lock i can worship a doorknob just as well as you worship jesus oh no you can't that doorknob can't change your life that door knob will send you to hell but jesus will take you to the kingdom you can worship a rock you can worship a statue you can worship buddha confucius and rest that confused crowd but at the end of the day there's only one risen savior and that's jesus christ the king of kings and lord of lords the lamb slain before the foundation of the world the alpha and the omega the beginning in the end and the bible says that those that will not make it into the kingdom are those that are fearful and those that are unbelieving those that refuse to repent mark 1 15 and believe the gospel you know somebody says why do they have to repent to believe the gospel because you've got to change your mind about all the stuff you believe before you can believe the truth you know sometimes people need religious repentance maybe you weren't wicked and deviant and sexual and ungodly but maybe you got to repent of the fact that you have been manipulated your whole life by a man-made denomination that told you you've got to do this and you've got to do this and you've got to do this you better repent of having to do that and trust jesus christ he's the only way to the kingdom of god unbelieving people cannot be saved we are saved by faith we live by faith we die by faith and the bible says without faith it's impossible to please god so if you can't please god without faith you sure can't go to hell without it he says the fearful the unbelieving and then he makes this statement and the abominable that ain't the snowman that's the people that do things contrary to the bible and we're not just talking about people that just a little bit we're talking about abominable wicked vile ungodly rebellion against the clear teachings of the bible you know there's only a handful of things in the whole bible it's a big book that god calls an abomination and by the way i don't care if it's old testament or new testament if god calls it an abomination i'm not going to buddy up to it like a teddy bear if god calls it evil if god calls it sin here's the problem isaiah said there's going to come a day which by the way we are in that day right now that good will be called evil and evil will be called good and truth will fall in the streets and people will trample upon it and that's where we're living people think we've lost our mind for being in this tent on a chilly wednesday night to listen to the bible being screamed at us they think we're crazy for our beliefs but god says look if you live contrary to the wheel and the word and the way and the dictate and the oracles of god the bible says the abominable cannot be saved you know why they're abominable because they're unbelieving and they're fearful all this goes together these unbelieving cowards live abominably according to what the bible says i don't even have to tell you tonight some of the things in our culture that have become accepted abominations and we're supposed to cozy up to it well you know for the greater good you know for the sake of unity look there's some things i'm not supposed to be unified with jesus came to bring a sword the bible says he said come out from among them and be ye separate saith the lord and touch not the unclean thing and i will receive you what fellowship hath light with darkness what fellowship hath christ with belial what fellowship hath an infidel with those that believe in the gospel of jesus christ there is a line that has been drawn in the sand and god says don't you mess with abominations he says the abominable shall not inherit the kingdom of god but shall be given over to shall have their part their inheritance in the lake of fire now greg didn't make that up that's not something i learned in seminary it's something the bible clearly teaches in revelation 21 8 the prophetic warning don't give in to abominations now look you can tell tonight i'm purposely guarded as far as slowing down because i want you to feel the gravity of what i'm saying tonight and sometimes i fear that my message can get lost in my big personality me tell you something i am not giving in to the alphabet cult in america ((applause)) g b t q b l m e i ain't giving in to the alphabet cult i'm not that doesn't make me a bigot that doesn't make me a homophobe that doesn't make me a hater that makes me a bible believer god says do not yoke up and teddy bear with abominations that's what the bible says now by the way god can save
