battle we're all fighting something and we're not aware of it today we're gonna lift our head to the heavens ((music playing)) because that is where our help comes from some of us need to let go of humbled by your presence whether you've been here a thousand times or you just be bopped under the tent for the very very first time we want you to know how much we appreciate you being in the house amen i believe god's gonna speak to some hearts today there is no doubt about that i believe some folks are going to be saved you're going to meet christ today you're going to understand the gospel repent and believe that gospel there's going to be some folks that are going to follow the lord in baptism today there is no doubt about that i guarantee it i know there's going to be some people that are going to be set free delivered their life's going to be turned upside down by the love and the power of jesus christ today in this tent i can promise you that is the case and it's not just going to happen in this room where we can see it it's going to happen all over the world where we can't see it more and more and more and more when i travel i am coming to the understanding the daunting understanding of how large of an online presence we have from people that right this second are in their living rooms in their bedrooms in their offices in their garage in empty church buildings and they are bringing friends to their home they are watching us in their backyard right now welcome everybody online right now in-house folks welcome all them folks let them know we love them we support them we appreciate them we're trying to figure out new networking ways spiritually to be able to touch you guys and let you know how much we love you and appreciate you because you're just as vital to what god's doing as everybody that is on this campus right now speaking of everybody on this campus if you are not from the great state of tennessee and you have flown walked hitchhike bicycle crawled somehow you got here for this service today and you're an out-of-stater stand up all over this room so we can honor you and your presence in this tent god bless you look at all these people all over the house wow people from all over the country and around the world we honor you thank you for being here you honor us with your presence and we are just so grateful that you're here man we're in for a great service i've already enjoyed the worship and i know we're going to enjoy some more worship and we're going to watch the lord do some good things in our midst we've come to a time in our service that to us is important because it is a as much a part of worship as anything else we do and that is our giving as we sow back into the kingdom you know we're not one of these churches that has a get rich quick scheme we just don't we don't care because we know god's going to take care of us when we sow into the kingdom and we take care of other people god does that all the time hands down we have tried so many times on purpose to out give the lord in this church we try to just just break the whole thing just give it all away and see what happens see how quick we can go under never god just keeps giving it back he just keeps giving it back and keeps giving it back because he knows we'll be good stewards of it people all over the country say you know why we give to your church we've never even been there you know why we give because you give because you bless others because you're not trying to sit around on millions and millions of dollars and do nothing with it and build these big old buildings hey this is our big old building right here welcome to the canvas cathedral this is the building this is it right here this whole thing this bling for the king right here this the whole deal don't care anything about any other building on this property we've bought everything up just so we can have the land just so we can keep bringing people in how do you like him golf carts by the way in that high tech redneck right there that's a blessing and guess what remember i made the announcement a month or so ago somebody bought both those golf carts for us i mean that's like 25 000 for those two amped up got they bought them for us god just keeps taking care of us because we keep taking care of other people and that's what we're gonna do today and i know we have obligations we have needs we have things that we have to do but god always takes care of that and he's gonna put everything in that bank account that we need but uh this week we we've substantially helped some people and this week we need to substantially help some more people and it comes in waves and we've been able to do a lot of benevolence out of our church and help missionaries and evangelists and pastors this week and all of that and today as we're taking the offering i don't care if we end up giving the whole thing away doesn't really our tour polovsky said the other day he's like i ain't never met a preacher like you just like give away all the offerings all the time he said i've never seen anything like it i said well you know our people are just crazy about giving i'm crazy about giving you know why because god's crazy about giving i mean for god so loved the world that he gave yeah he didn't beg bar steal no he gave okay you can give without really loving but you can never really love without really giving because real love requires sacrifice you see the bible says god demonstrated his love to us for us in that while we were yet sinners christ died for us okay love requires a sacrifice and so we give and so we make no bones if you will no contention about the fact that we talk about money here because we believe in giving it to others so this week i know we have some single moms that we need to bless we we have some people in particular a young lady in our church that we want to help this week that's just in some desperate dire need we've been helping widows the last couple of days now you know that's what the bible says pure religion is and undefiled that you help the widows and the orphans and those that are destitute right you don't just pay parking lots you do stuff with the money god gives you and so we've been helping widows this week and we've been and i got some great ideas by the way for a whole revamping of our widow's ministry we're going to step that up because i believe when you honor those that god honors the lord continues to honor the house even more and so we got some people this week that we need to help to the tune of several thousand dollars but we also have somebody under the tent today that i want to help that i've never met up until today i knew i was going to meet her but uh our dear friend brother josh karate kid that goes here and uh he goes to haiti a couple times a year and he's brought his dear missionary friend from haiti that that has a children's home over there has a whole complex matter of fact she's wanting teams from global vision to go to haiti amen and come over there and help and do some stuff and be a blessing and there's one thing to hear about the mission field but when you're exposed to it it's like jeremiah chapter three my eye affects my heart when you see it for yourself it'll do something to you it'll it'll get the juices flowing all the way up to your to your tear ducts it'll show you that there's a whole lot more to the world than just america he's a god of nations you understand that he's a god of nations so i talked to him this morning in the meet and greet line and i'd already prayed this morning lord i i know that she's going to be here today i don't know the first thing about her and the ministry other than the pictures and the videos i've seen and the things that josh talks about but you know the bible says that our spirit bears witness with other people's spirit and we know that they're of the spirit and i asked josh i said i said i want to know what her need is because i know she wouldn't tell me you know she'd be like i just pray for no no i want to know what you need for your ministry i want to know what you need for those 13 kids that you got to get to school every single day and that you have to race most of which are orphans by the way and she's the only mother they know and so where they at by the way where's josh where's where where where they can y'all stand up just for a second give this lady right here a hand hey man this woman of god right here from haiti ((applause)) wow what a ministry they have over there feeding people clothing people providing spiritual help medical help emotional stability providing a family for kids that don't have one absolutely so over and above everything we were planning on doing because we got like i said people to help this week and our bills and all that i don't care about that i know they need a van they need a vehicle to get these kids to school right i don't want them walking you know the world is dangerous enough as it is and they need a vehicle they need a dependable van to be able to get these kids to school and to everywhere that they need to go so i know what the cost is it's gonna cost them forty thousand dollars by i know what we got to do this week to help other people and so we're just going to do it if a dime don't come in we're going to do it that we can we can tip them for the kingdom amen we can bless them for the kingdom we just do that kind of stuff i do not care about money in the bank i do not care about buildings i do not care about a lavish lifestyle if you learn anything about greg locke this is my wheelhouse right there i don't want lavish i don't need fancy i don't like rich all that stuff is an encumbrance it's a distraction i like generosity is what i like and so when i tell you to give you can know my wife and i are giving and we're sowing and we're giving i gotta check in my pocket we'll come off we'll make sure that we give we've got people this morning already under in the tent hand us tithes for the church we're going to give today we're going to bless people today in the name of the lord and so these folks in the context of our church and our community are going to be blessed this week and this precious lady and her ministry is going to be abundantly blessed and so let's give above and beyond even our human understanding and the level of of what we would consider to be risky nobody in this tent has ever really given till it hurts we say that we say oh just get until it hurts i don't think any of us have given to the hearse because most of the time if we give a couple hundred bucks no big deal because we got a couple thousand in the bank right it's not a sacrifice let's let's give i'm telling you time is short the days are urgent but we got time to mess around we got a good eight or ten years left in this nation if we don't turn this thing around and we'll talk about that a little bit more so look you might as well just go ahead and invest in the kingdom and watch what the lord's going to do so in-house and online i want to make sure that these folks especially her are abundantly blessed and she didn't come here for a van but she's leaving with one i can promise you that right now amen i can promise you that she is leaving with one well she's leaving with the money for one i got to take care of that over there amen father i pray right now that you'd release this in the spirit of generosity in-house online later throughout the afternoon as people go back and watch this lord i am just astounded i shouldn't be but i'm astounded at how you always give back abundantly so much more than we put out and i thank you for that i thank you for the privilege to pastor and be part of a church that gets it these people get it and that's why they're giving and so i pray for those that don't get it they will either get on board or move on down the road because life's too short to die a greedy stingy individual that calls themselves the follower of christ there's no such thing we got to be givers we got to be generous so may we dig deep and bless our friends that are working in the kingdom these moms in our church that need help need housing they just be able to pay their bills these widows that are hurting these pastor friends of mine these evangelists that are discouraged but all of the nonsense that's going on and their offerings are drying up and their meetings are drying up and their support is withering away and yet you continue to abundantly bless us because i believe you found in us a place that's willing to stand in the gap and help these people when they have a need and lord you know my heart even this morning and my time with you having no idea what was going to take up and exactly what she or others were going to need lord you know my heart as i prayed this morning and said god our church has been able to give so much but i pray that we'd be able to kick it up a level 10 times more than we've ever been able to give before and invest we don't have time to mess around if we're going to reach people with the gospel we do it now we don't do it in 10 years we don't do it in five years we don't live with a hope so think so maybe so nonsense we do it now and as you have resourced us now we sow and we resource the kingdom so bless this offering we pray in jesus mighty name and all of god's people said god bless you as you give ((music playing)) while we're taking up the offering and while we're giving generously and sowing seed into the kingdom i just want to share a little bit with you about our prayer time this week and the songs that the lord laid on our heart and why he did so i have just been feeling such a burden in my spirit not only that we are waging a battle against darkness but we are also waging a battle within ourselves on who we're going to choose to be because the most amazing thing about christ is that he gave us the gift of choice and we get to choose he we will be this day we get to choose who we will stand up and defend we get to choose how we will react how we will act how we will raise our children and i think it's an amazing gift and i just feel like the enemy is coming in all different in all different ways to attack us um globally nationally and then we're attacking one another but the battle belongs to the lord and so this last song is a time when we magnify christ because when we magnify christ then everything becomes smaller because god is bigger than our circumstances if we really understood the scope of who god is and who jesus christ is we would know that in a breath things that we thought were insurmountable are defeated mountains move the seas fillet open in an instant so i just want to encourage you let's stand together and let's magnify christ and minimize everything else this is a time for us to join together with the saints to join together with the angels with creation with one another to give honor and glory because he deserves all honor all glory and all praise are you ready to magnify the savior the king of kings and the lord of lords come on let's worship together ((music playing)) let's not wait for opportune moment let's lift our arms and surrender where creation suddenly articulate with a thousand tongues lift one cry then from north and south and east to invite you to for some of you a familiar passage for some of you maybe not so much but we're actually going to develop a part of the passage that is never talked about i want you to go to first kings the 18th chapter this morning in the word of the lord first kings and chapter number 18 and i want to say thank you again so much for being in the house and in just a little while of course we'll have our folks lining up for baptismal celebration and that's going to be a beautiful beautiful time and we're just going to watch the lord do some things in our midst i know i got to meet many of you with my wife a few moments ago in the smaller meet and greet hospitality tent but those of you that weren't able to get in line or did not know we'll stay as long as we have to shake every hand hug every neck and try to bear each other's burdens and so fulfill the law of christ amen and so i know some of you have to get where you need to go and you want to beat the methodist to the chinese buffet but we're going to stick around a while and we're going to meet some people and love some people that help some people and so don't feel like you have to get out of here and and i know for some of our folks that come here on a very regular basis let me let me just let me just pastor you for a minute okay let me just talk to you uh as a loving compassionate shepherd i know that for many of you we have we've outgrown the ability to be as connected and as intimate as we once were we're not we're not in a little building anymore you understand and so i know that sometimes that grows beyond uh the ability for me to be able to personally minister to you on a much more intimate close-knit basis that i used to and so i i never want anybody to think that we've we've outgrown them we've just grown i'm ringing up here real bad guys we figured that out i've just we've grown to a place where look it it doesn't matter if maybe you feel like oh my goodness you know the church has outgrown me and they don't even know if i'm there or not well really we do we pay attention you'd be shocked what i can tell about people right now up in this room praise god but look no matter how much we grow here's what you gotta understand i'm not comfortable putting out a sign that says sorry 10th full go to hell so you're going to have to get used to the growth because i believe it's just now starting so if you want a more scaled down a little bit more accessibility guess what we do on wednesday nights we have church under the tent now granted it's filling up at least this section of these little side sections but we'll just we'll just replicate sunday if we have to but we have things going on all the time there's no need to come to a church and feel disconnected if you feel disconnected it's because you slip in and slip out we have small groups we have classes we have ministry opportunities we have volunteer opportunities we have serving opportunities we have everything you could possibly imagine we have men group galore right in the morning six o'clock at courtney's i'm there every monday without fail every monday night 6 30 at courtney's pastor danny is there without fail we have women's bible studies my wife put on the spot is getting ready to start another women's bible study for the ladies in the church because she feels like the holy spirit wants her to do that for eight or ten weeks or so but at the end of the day we've got stuff for kids we've got stuff for youth we've got stuff for everybody we got stuff for normal folk we got stuff for crazy folk we've just got a lot of stuff and so i know sometimes people like oh my goodness we've just grown so much you know i just i don't see the same people hey rejoice in that you know our church exists for the people who aren't here yet did you catch i don't even started preaching yet did you catch that that's a word from the lord right there global vision bible church exists for the people who haven't shown up yet it's our job to go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in that god's house may be filled amen you ready to hear the word of god all right first kings chapter 18 let's pray and we're going to jump right in father in heaven i am humbled i'm grateful i'm overwhelmed by the privilege that once again you've afforded me to put a microphone in my hand stand on this platform and declare boldly thus saith the lord god so i pray that you'd help me as i teach and as i preach over the context of the next few moments lord may it flow in the power of the holy spirit may it not be my charismatic personality might not be somebody's ability to be educated or just communicate well lord i pray that your power would be on demonstration in a full way in this message right now and lord we need you and we would be arrogant fools to admit otherwise so i pray that you had moved greg locke and global vision off the platform and in-house and online you would gather glory unto yourself we will lift you up lord jesus and you promised that you would draw all men to you when we do that so may the power and the glory of the gospel be revealed today in jesus name and all of god's people said in first kings chapter 18 we have a very well-known story a story i've preached on a story that pastor danny has preached on a story that many of you have heard much of your life since your days in sunday school and phleanograph and vacation bible school elijah calling the fire of god down from heaven and literally taking the false prophets of baal to the brook kidron and slaying them there and here he is coming against ahab and jezebel it's a beautiful context we'll develop some of it but not all of it because i want to get to the end of the chapter and talk about something that is of equal importance and value that we very rarely if ever like to talk about but i must paint the picture of the narrative of what is happening there's a man that has jumped on the scene by the name of elijah now much later in the context there is an elisha make sure you keep your jaws and your shoves from getting confused and you'll be all right they're two different people but in this context there is this leather-longed man of god that stands up and says enough is enough and he begins to go throughout the context of his land that is under by the way the judgment of god that is led by corrupted politicians and he stands up and he says this is the word of the lord and revival followed the boldness and the courage of this man and here's what i'm finding in this tent and everywhere that i go courage is contagious it only takes one person to stand and like the domino effect people begin to stand and begin to stand and begin to stand but i must say this of equal value and importance is to know this fear is also contagious that's why god's not giving us the spirit of fear and if god's not giving it to us then somebody has and so we don't propagate a spirit of fear we don't have an atmosphere of fear in this tent on this campus i'll tell you why because god does not want us to live in fear he wants us to live in faith and you cannot be bold unless you increase your faith understand and so they're both equally either a blessing or poisonous they're both contagious and so this contagious courageous man of god like a lion began to go throughout the countryside prophesying and predicting the coming judgment of god and here's what happened for three years there was no rain upon the earth the bible says in the book of james in chapter five that elijah was a man subject to like passions like you and i but the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much he prayed to god he took the keys of heaven stuck him in his pocket and for three years no rain came to the land now friend when you have got a relationship like that with god you're doing something this man boldly proclaims us saith the lord there will be no rain for the space of three years now think about this we're probably tired of rain but you have to have rain in a cycle for the harvest and for the crops so now in this particular area the ground was parched and cracked like an old dried piece of leather there had been no lightning in the sky no rumbling no thunder clouds nothing at all and the people were in starvation they were thirsty water was in short supply and i'm here to tell you the demand was great but the supply had been lessened and so because of that elijah had become a problem to the politicians of his day yesterday i was in north carolina and i have been introduced thousands of various ways all over the nation some not so wonderful and delicate however yesterday was interesting they had a lady that introduced me she was speaking just before me she's the wife of a pastor in charlotte north carolina we were about an hour or so away from there as she was introducing me she said you know here's what we know about life she said if you get some dirty clothes and you have some some soilage on your clothes that you have to get off she said in order to clean them you put them in a washing machine she said but there's something about that washing machine that you have to understand she said there is something inside of it called an agitator and she said you can have all the desire in the world for your clothes to get clean but you have to operate and function with an agitator and she said ladies and gentlemen the man i'm about to introduce to you has a spirit of agitation he's an agitator for the gospel he's an agitator for the kingdom and i wonder how many agitators do we got under the tent this morning some people that are willing not to shut up some people that are willing to stand up and say enough is enough if we're going to clean up the church if we're going to clean up the culture we got to agitate some people i can't even help myself i i was born with a spirit of disruption i'm more accustomed to flipping over tables and i am just walking in and shaking hands and that's the spirit that we're going to have to have if we're going to turn this thing back around for jesus christ i'm telling you days of timidity are done days of being shy are done days of wondering and worrying if you're going to lose your job are done you're going to have to walk away from some family members you're going to have to not get invited to the family reunion you're going to have some people on facebook and social media that are going to hate you that are gonna give you a thumbs down rather than a thumbs up and they may give you another finger praise god you better get okay with that you better get used to that life's too short to die a coward i'm gonna say it again life is too short to die a coward and we gotta have some people to understand the wicked flea when no man pursues but the righteous i said the righteous are bold as a lion so here's what's happening the rain has not come well because of that jezebel is ticked off and by the way that chick's been dead a long time but her spirit is still ticked off and if you let jezebel run rampant in a church she will destroy every single bit of leadership that you can possibly imagine and we call her out every single opportunity we get we call her out for who she is and so here's what jezebel decides to do she takes the prophets of god not elijah because he wasn't amongst their timidity if you will and the bible says that she threatens them within inches of their life and another politician by the name of obadiah takes all the prophets and hides them in a cave now the bible does not say that in the cave were the false prophets of baal it says in the cave well the prophets of the lord hiding in a cave people with the gift of prophecy flowing through their veins people with the power and courage of god upon their life people with an anointing and an appointing not an education but an equipping from god's holy spirit and here they were chewing their fingernails to the quick basketball-sized ulcers sitting around singing kumbaya around a s'mores field campfire in a cave while the culture was running demon-possessed in buckwild all because they were afraid of one woman named jezebel they were afraid of what people would say about them they were afraid for their lives and can i say this we've raised a generation of people that say stupid stuff like this well when it comes down to it and by the way it has has when it comes down to it i'll go to jail for my faith 95 of the people that say that don't even go to church for their faith and we got people standing up talking about the fact that they will die for someone they don't even live for on a consistent basis i'm not asking you to die for jesus i'm asking you to live for jesus because he gave to give us life and life more abundantly ((applause)) so here are the prophets hiding in a cave might i just by the way of this make an application they're still hiding in caves you would be shocked maybe or maybe not because some of you are here for this reason but you would be shocked how many people i meet as of just yesterday i mean almost two years into this mess whose church is still closed in their community did you know the largest church in middle tennessee i don't know if it's these fans or if i just don't have enough juice can i get this a little bit more the largest church in middle tennessee the largest one just reopened for full services two weeks ago you think about that the largest church in middle tennessee just opened two weeks ago with restrictions mind you they don't have as many services as they used to have probably because as many people aren't coming back because they're sick of that nonsense too and they're coming to churches like ours that are a remnant church that's standing up and doing something about this mess and saying we ain't shutting the doors of our church we ain't closing down we ain't playing your democrat games absolutely not no way jose that's all the spanish i know just reopened two weeks ago and wonder why things aren't going well look i'm here to tell you as far as i'm concerned i know unity and i know compassion i know i get it i hope everyone in churches go bankrupt i hope they all go bankrupt because they were nothing more than coffee drinking social clubs before this experiment started to begin with and they don't deserve to call themselves the pillar and ground of the truth if their pastors won't be cowards if their prophets are hiding in caves let them hide in caves let somebody else stand up grab the microphone and say thus saith the lord god of heaven let them all shut down as far as i'm concerned i'm telling you the last two years has shown us who is going to stand and who is going to fall who is going to rise and who is going to lay down and roll over and capitulate to a godless culture so i know every week we we sprinkle a little bit of this type of stuff into our sermons and i do that on purpose because look i've got to a place in my ministry i ain't got time to pastor cowards i got time for it i just don't so if you're if you're a cowardly lion right i got time for it you may not have a personality like me you may not be able to talk to a doorknob you may have a hard time sharing your faith i get it but days of shyness and backwardness and awkwardness is over you normal we're going back to supernaturals what we're going back to we're going back to the book of acts some people are going to jail for their faith some people are dying for their faith and while i preached this sermon pastor artur polowski as you saw our tearfield video the other day we'll be preaching his final sermon in america he hops on a jet tomorrow because a businessman so loves him he said i'm gonna fly you back in my private jet all the way back to calgary just so you can fly below the radar as it were so at least if they arrest you you'll get to see your family before they grab you in the airport and we got men like arturo polovsky coming to america saying it's coming it's coming it's coming it's coming and we still got prophets in a cave denying that reality now i'm gonna tell you this and we're gonna get to the text it's not that i haven't been preaching but i'm gonna get to the bible in a minute right i meet a lot of people i'm as ignorant as a brick in a lot of areas but i'm not biblically stupid i'm not prophetically ignorant and even if i were i got some good friends in a lot of places that may surprise some of you and surprise me when i talk to him but i'm telling you right now this nation has about eight good years left if we don't turn this thing around that's it you let that soak in for a minute before you start clapping think about where your kids are right now in eight years from now they're done huh church as we know it done you worry about losing your job now you ain't gonna have one if we don't turn this thing around the economy done done and all these bunch of demon-possessed mongrels that's been given over to reprobate mine all these bunch of dark-eyed politicians you look into them and you can tell there's a hole in their soul they're void of jesus you can tell they're coming for us i heard a man yesterday in a wheelchair congressman madison calthorne i'm telling you that guy was lit up we're gonna have him right here on this platform we're gonna have that guy he was lit he said something that i wish every one of you in-house and online even the detractors even right-wing watch even them fools that can't i wish they would pay attention for five seconds the left will never be your friend this nefarious plan is not going to have you on their programs they're not going to strike a deal they're not going to compromise they want you to lay down but they will steamroll you every single solitary second that they get with no humility whatsoever and they want you to back off they want you to be bullied into a corner and put on a dunce hat and look like a fool and they want you to apologize and they want you to stay home and they want you to mask up and they want you to send your kids to school like a bunch and pause for effect in case you need to leave i know many of you vote down the ticket for which you were raised i get it i understand it and i know i'm supposed to stay out of areas like oh no oh contremo as the shirt says that everybody wants me to get you got the wrong one listen i don't care what your grandmama was i don't care what your parents were i don't care these are new days these are new days nancy pelosi just tried to pass the most vicious ungodly bill on abortion that you can imagine that a baby up to birth can be decided upon as to whether it's going to be murdered or not now i can't even tell you how base how vile how demonically influenced that is someone tell you something you gonna have to come out of the cave stop being a coward and quit worrying about how your great great great great great granddaddy voted and you're gonna have to understand it is impossible did you get that word okay i'm gonna kneel before you in humility let you know i mean it is get where we need to go because i need you understand the reason we're in this mess is not because we've been vocal the reason we're in this mess is because we've been in the cave for too long we got god called people in a cave acting like cowards that have no power we're the only organization that has been infused by the power of the holy ghost we're the only institution on the planet that jesus said the gates of hell shall not prevail against it we're the only thing in the world that's called the pillar and ground of the truth and we think we can't stop it the church is the only thing that can stop it the church is the only thing that can stop what is here and stop what is coming if we don't deal with it because i'll tell you something unless things change revivalistically and i'm optimistic that they can and that they will i'm gonna tell you something you ain't seen tyranny yet and some of you just aren't paying attention and that's why i'm taking a little extra time this morning you are just not paying attention to what's happening this is a nefarious diabolical globalist beast system plan that revelation has spelled out for us in detail and some of you are missing it because you're too busy watching fox news and netflix they're in bed with the rest of them i got time for none of them somebody says why don't fox give you a show they don't want me and so i'm just telling you it's time to get out of the cave and put being a bunch of wimps and a bunch of sissies and a bunch of cowards you know why a lot of men come to this church that don't go to church anywhere else and never like church you know what i get every day of my life my husband is not a church going man but he loves you you know why because men want a man to be a pastor that's why men want somebody who's going to stand up and say enough's enough they don't want some little up here wearing skinny jeans ((applause)) you have all that nonsense people want a man to be their pastor and i'm not the quintessential pastor of the world i know i'm a little weird from the rest of them but i promise you one thing i ain't backing down i ain't backing down i ain't stopping i ain't quitting i ain't slowing my roll i ain't gonna go silent i'm not going to slow down i'm not going to put it in neutral i ain't going to put it in reverse i'm here to tell you i'm wide open heaven bound with the hammer down they can say what they will do what they will threaten what they will but no weapon formed against us shall prosper and every lying tongue that comes against us in judgment god will snatch it out and throw it on the ground he'll snatch it out of your throat i don't care how many times netflix shows up i don't care how many times peacock shows up i don't cry anytime cnn fox news newsweek news max time magazine i don't care who shows up and we got a whole crew coming next week look i am just getting started i'm just letting you know that up front people like well i'll tell you one thing i go there on sunday this just become nothing but a political rally well when the whole nation goes to hell in a hand basket you'll know where to show up then see that stuff don't intimidate me like judgmentalism is what it came across and said well you know this is just the way we think things ought to be let me explain something to you this is not the church you grew up in this is not your mama's church and you ain't got no family buried on the property and if you do you can dig them up and take them to some other church we ain't the church down the road we need to church around the corner we the remnant church that's rising to say get out of the cave it's time to stand it's time to preach it's time to prophesy it's time to put it all on the altar and say we're not going back we're not going back to the way things were we're just not we're just not ((applause)) i ain't even got to it yet i still got something to say i got this letter in the mail the other day it's like a certified letter man i was thinking man alive these people are they're really going for it and it's cute a lot of people have been sending their tithe checks in uh in ziploc sandwich bags because of the coca-cola debacle so that was cool so people are watching right but somebody sent me a letter the other day they're probably watching that's cool like i'll give their name aren't you glad sent me a letter and said you know we've been given to y'all's church and we like it and everything but here's something i'm mad about and people get mad about the dumbest things he said you know you gave tens of thousands of dollars away to single moms on mother's day i think in the letter they said we gave 35 000. we gave 65 000 away to single mamas in one day so they said you you gave all this money away to single moms but then just recently you gave a hundred thousand dollars to a missionary to build churches in another country and in the letter god is my witness they said we are withholding our tithes until you make that right until you focus more on your community and not missionaries she's like i don't want to give to missionaries i want to give to the community okay i haven't responded nor will i but you can keep your checks ((music playing)) you can put your check in a garbage bag walk in your front yard and burn it in the name of god for all i care you see the problem with a guy like me is i can't be bought no matter how much money you offer me i don't want your money i don't need you i don't get impressed easily i drive a bubba truck i'm hard to impress so all of that was not my message but it got me to it everybody okay anybody need a smoke break you good so in first kings 18 somebody like man i don't know about this guy we like this everywhere we go amen so elijah he goes out he tells the people we're going to have an altar of sacrifice don't put any wood under it god's going to send fire whoever is the real god little g or the real god big g will send fire for 12 hours the prophets predicted oh god hear us oh belle hear us oh help us help us help us and the bible says but there was no answer there's a reason for that there was no bell not then or now there's one way and it's jesus christ and so finally the bible says that elijah i love this this helps me it says elijah mocked them now that's some old testament justification for crazy preaching right there elijah mocked them for their unscriptural godless idol worshipping nonsense mocked them so then he said all right y'all have done this for 12 hours let me rebuild the altar because you better know you've got to rebuild some stuff before god sends the fire and so in a moment of humility rebuilding and repentance he got down and prayed 54 words not 54 verses not 54 days not 54 minutes 54 words what 12 hours of crying to a false god could not do 54 words in just a few moments did to the god of the universe and god sent fire licked up the trench licked up the water burned up the rocks evaporated the sacrifice and melted the hearts of the people and they fell on their face and said the lord he is the god the lord he is the god the lord he is the god which by the way is proof in the pudding that when real revival comes god gets the glory not man global vision doesn't get the glory greg lot doesn't get the glory god gets the glory when real revival shows up in power and demonstration of the fullness of the spirit and so you know that once the fire fell the people's hearts were melted he brought them back to a moment of revival and out of idolatry and wickedness the corruption of the culture was beyond our wildest imagination and yet we're seeing it being repeated truth has fallen in the streets and been trampled on these days so he takes those false prophets down to the brook and the bible says that he lifted up a sword and he slew them there can you imagine being next in line knowing what was about to happen he slew the prophets of baal at the river one of the great preachers of yesteryear dr lester roloff always used to say that's the first non-profit organization in the whole bible right there amen chopped all their heads off dirty rascals but there was still a problem do you know why it was such a big deal for him to get 10 11 12 15 barrels of water to fill and anoint the sacrifice because water was the most valuable commodity they had because they were in the middle of no water a drought and he was showing us now and those people then that no matter what you face in life god always provides for his own and so once he saw the fire of god once he eliminated these false fake phony prophets which by the way once that took place then the prophets in the cave came out that's another message cowards always come out for the spoil they need to come out for the battle but nonetheless the bible says that there's still a problem there's still a drought there's still been no rain there's still three years of dry cracked parched earth with no harvest the people are hungry in need of something from god and as we just for a moment tiptoe all the way towards the end of the chapter i want you to look please at verse number 41. and elijah said unto ahab that was the king he was corrupt he was wicked not nearly as wicked as his wife jezebel but ahab and jezebel the clintons of the old testament they were wicked people and elijah said unto ahab get thee up eat and drink for there is a sound of abundance of rain the prophet just saw the fire but they still needed the rain they saw the combustible work of god but they still needed the rain from god and he boldly walks over to the king and he says you know what wash your face wash your hands get up eat and drink get you a little bit of a spirit of rejoicing because i hear something i hear the sound of the abundance of rain did you ever grow up watching the winnie the pooh remember christopher robbins he used to walk around saying looks like rain elijah said hey tut-tut looks like rain after three years of famine after three years of starvation after three years of thirsting to death after three years of being parched after three years of god shutting it up by way of judgment he said i hear the sound of the abundance of rain and watch what happens so ahab verse 42 went up to eat and drink and elijah went up to the top of caramel that's important you know why everybody thinks the confrontation took place on the top of mount carmel no it took place at the base of mount carmel if you read the whole text now he's going to go to the top of mount carmel to get a better vantage point and some of you need to get above your mess so you can get a better vantage point and recognize hey god's doing something that you couldn't see below the mountain you couldn't see it with the mountain in your face but you can see it clearly when you get on the mountain and look down into the surroundings and so he climbs up to the top of mount carmel and he cast himself down upon the earth and he put his face between his knees get this picture we're not talking about a dignified phd seminary trained graduate theologian we're talking about the prophet of god who just caught fire from heaven you ever done that this man had fire in his bones he calls fire from god upon the earth he stands courageously in the face of political social cultural and religious evil calls it out and then chops their head off this is a bad dude now i know he gets discouraged because every bucket sits on its own bottom and we all put our shoes on one foot at a time like everyone else and in the next chapter he gets discouraged because of jezebel it's amazing how much trouble one woman can produce in the bible do not go like that please do not look to your left or your right and so here he is on top of a mountain and he prostrates himself before the lord and then he puts his head between his knees in a symbol of humility and repentance and confession and he's there before god begging lord do something you know i i fear in a lot of ways a healthy fear as a leader that we could hear all this stuff that i say and we can just say wow that's just a bunch of conspiracy theories that's just a bunch of nonsense that's a bunch of out of context prophetic bible verses yada yada shemata and we can hear all that and we won't get to a place where we get filled with utter desperation for what we need from god because the only person that can fix the mess we're in right now politically and religiously and economically and maritally and in every other way the only person that can fix this is the god that is on the throne right now he's the only one i hope you're done looking to washington if you're looking to the capitol for help you're sunk before you start looking they're not gonna help us nobody's swooping in to save the day i'm telling you we must put our head between our knees get on our faces in humility and seek the face and favor of god for him to do for us what we cannot do for ourselves and i fear sometimes we hear all this in church but it doesn't drive us to our knees you let the gravity of that pull you to the ground for a moment if we believe what i was preaching right now if you believe your pastor if you believe the bible if you believe the context of everything we see culturally i would probably be preaching to people while they're on their knees at this altar in this church tent but we haven't got that desperate yet you know in narcotics anonymous and alcoholics anonymous they have an interesting phrase that they use it's called the gift of desperation you get clean when you get desperate you get revival when you get desperate you get your marriage back when you get desperate you get your prodigal back when you get desperate you get healed when you get desperate you get that breakthrough after the breakdown when you get desperate you get what you need from god in moments of desperation agony and anguish and we've lost that spirit in the american church we just casually show up willy nilly sing a couple little songs raise our hands give an offering listen to the guy screaming at us for 45 minutes watch some baptisms shake some hands hug some necks get in the car go to the restaurant and we are leaky vessels we're just about empty by the time we leave here and get back home and we forget all about it if you knew what was at the door if you understood the plan they have for your kids in public school right now if you understood that round one was just a percentage of what they're about to bring to pass in the next coming three to six months if you understood the urgency of where we were as a nation if you would understand the connection that is happening right now in afghanistan it is absolutely positively no accident what took place if you understood the gravity of why our southern border is so wide open and tens of thousands of people are walking across every single day if you understood the weight of what was happening this moment if you could still grab the idea and the mindset there are thousands of churches in america that are still closed to this day if you could grab that it put a little desperation in your knees yesterday i'm trying to be kind i preached a couple of hours after a man at a faith and freedom conference that doesn't believe in faith or freedom i felt heavy in my spirit i told my wife a few days beforehand when i found out i was gonna be preaching with him i'm just talking said okay i told her i said man i'm gonna have a hard time not calling him out in front of everybody because i mean if we don't i mean you know we're a mess right i mean this guy has what the headline says 14 000 members you know what what that means is he has like a thousand people that come and a whole bunch of people that have been dead for a long time that are still in the roles of the church southern baptist churches are huge about doing that so this guy pastor is one of the most prestigious churches in america he's written probably 50 books better than my books preaches good sermons pretty good communicator at the end of the day has a radio show and a tv show every single day nationally and worldwide globally syndicated television this guy is well known he's been an advisor to trump for a very very long time which is probably why trump made a few stupid decisions about this vaccine at the end of his presidency see i call them all out i'm an equal opportunist stupid stupid no matter who does it so this guy gets up to preach and we're trying to listen to it we're getting from the airport they gave my rental car away it was a debacle to even get there i'm thinking man maybe i don't even need to get there maybe this is going to be just a fall down the steps nightmare i finally show up a bunch of people there it's beautiful we had a great time some of you watched it you already told me about it but they had this guy preach and so i was glad that we were separate originally i was right after him so maybe the lord fixed that maybe he just kind of you know kind of humbled me and calmed me down a little bit because i was a little amped up about it because this guy's having like a massive church with vaccine clinics in his parking lot just wrote an article last week as a fox news commentator that said there is no biblical reason anybody should ever refuse the vaccine we're talking about one of the leaders in the southern baptist church thousands of people go to this man's church huge voice huge voice and if i told you who he was then many of you right now would know him okay runs a program called voice of victory ain't no victory in it whatsoever so before i got to preach i went backstage i had the microphone let's get me all ready and i asked the guy that was running the thing i said how was that i said i think i'm going to cool my jets and not say a whole lot about it although i couldn't help myself and said something about it but nonetheless i said how was that he said man it was weird i said what do you mean he said well the elders called from his church before he got here they canceled last year when hall started they made him do a video he said but the elders called and said look when he walks in the building clear a path this is a pastor of a 14 000 member church said there will be one person that drives him to the venue and one person that leaves with him in the venue he will shake no hands he will sign no bibles there will be no meet and greet he will sell no merchandise you hand him no bottles of water you hand him no food he will bring his own stuff he will sit in a room for one hour before he speaks it's the gods honest truth god strike me dead if i'm lying pastor of a mega church in this in in this nation in texas we're getting somewhere now i didn't gave you texas i didn't give you where i was and i didn't give you a voice of victory so you can put it together yourself but he said he prays over no one he fellowships with no one this one man will lead him backstage he will get on the platform you will hand him a sanitized microphone he will preach walk off the other side he will go to his car and there will be no fellowship mail him the love offering check he will receive nothing from your hand now robert jeffries is his initials but uh at the end of the day that is stupid what kind of pastor is that oh i can't pray for people i can't shake hands i can't hug nobody did you know that the church used to invite sick people to come there to be healed ((applause)) now we're telling sick people they can't show up now we're telling people that when you do show up you got to be mass you got to be six feet apart you can't shake hand you got to give a elbow elbow my hind leg i'll elbow the devil in his face over that nonsense that's so stupid ((applause)) so all of that to say if we knew how crazy this thing had made people we'd probably be praying this is crazy look if i ever get to that place just soup just turn me and feather me and run me out of town and sue me for all the money you've ever paid me if i ever get to that place you can know i am senile if i ever walk on this platform with a mask on and then pull it off so i can preach and then put it back on so i can walk down like oh no no can't shake my hand i'm the man of god i cannot get sick just take me out back and deal with me you men in a church i'm giving you full pastoral pardoning permission right now to beat the crap out of your pastor if he ever stands up and acts that stupid ((applause)) just beat the just gonna get tired of it and god said these are urgent days you better keep saying it because they forgot from last week when the spiritual leaders of the land that aren't in a cave are trying to convince everybody to get in one you're a mess you're in a mess at least i figured out in the ministry who would have put the jews on the boxcars some of y'all like i'd like to say amen but we on camera yeah you already guilty by association they know you here you're gonna lose your job anyhow they know you're here you might as well buck up put on your big boy pants get out of the cave and start doing something you better save your kids best save your kids so he said i hear the sound of abundance of rain and when he got on his face people ask me all the time my goodness aren't you tired got to wake people up i've never seen anything like it in my life i mean last week i was in four states just friday i was in colorado springs yesterday's in north carolina we drove all night got back here i am today tonight i'm in gunnersville alabama tomorrow night i'm in tulsa oklahoma wednesday night i'm back here thursday night i'm in uh terre haute indiana friday i'm in somerset kentucky back here on saturday sunday monday boom flight again across the state across the country you think i just oh my goodness i get the jet set around the world it's fun no i'm doing this for my kids i'm trying to leave something in america for my kids i may not even get to see what god does but i'm going to leave something for this church and for your kids i'm going to leave it all on the field i'm say amen right so sometimes you're like there's nothing there's no revival on the horizon there's no financial breakthrough there's no healing from this cover there's no healing from cancer there's no healing to my marriage my kid's never coming back there's nothing there's nothing there's nothing but when there's nothing there's always something check this out he said go again seven times number of completion number of perfection number of obedience because after about the sixth time i'd been like come on dude we didn't see anything then we ain't gonna see anything now that's the way we think but god said no you go seven times go seven times and he went back and looked and he went back and looked and he went back and looked verse 41 or 44. and it came to pass at the seventh time not the fourth not the fifth not the six you ain't had your breakthrough because you keep stopping at three it came to pass at the seventh time that he said behold there arises a little cloud out of the sea i love this like a man's hand and he said go up saying ahab prepare thy chariot and get thee down why that the rain stopped thee not what rain the rain that was coming but had not been fulfilled as of yet so on the seventh time the scout the servant the assistant went over and he looked over and he came back he said i ain't seen anything six times but i'll be i just saw something he said what's that he said i saw a cloud the size of a man's hand meaning by that out in the distance that would have been the circumference of how big it looked not that that's how big it was out there but that's how big it looked to him in the distance on the horizon he says about about the size of a man's hand and when elijah heard that he said go tell ahab to get home quick to beat the rain and then watch how it concludes in verse 45 and it came to pass in the meanwhile that the heaven was black with clouds and wind and there was a great rain and they have road and went to jezreel and the hand of the lord was on elijah that means spirited demonstrative call them all out jerk for jesus and the hand of the lord was on elijah and he girded up his loins and ran before ahab to the entrance of jezreel now we have to stop there for context sake and for time's sake and for tiredness sake something about war's lap out but on the seventh occasion the servant came back and said look cloud out there about the size of a man's hand and elijah said that's all we need tell him it's coming tim get home get his house in order it's coming and elijah girded up himself he ran and beat ahab in a chariot to jezreel and the rain abundantly poured forth and blessed the congregation of the nation of israel and the surrounding areas and revival began to flow and i know it's a mess and i don't have all the answers although sometimes i act as if i do i don't i don't understand all that's happening i understand a whole lot of it maybe a lot more than some people and that's why i have the position i suppose that i have but i say with elijah in the midst of all of it i hear something i hear hope rising i hear joy rising i sense healings rising i see more baptisms rising i see more salvations rising i see your home being put back together i see your prodigal daughter and your prodigal child coming back home in repentance and faith and humility i see the 10 not being big enough this time not being big enough next time and not being big enough the next time because no matter how bad it gets no matter how much evil reigns no matter how buck wild and demon possessed this culture is i hear a sound ((music playing)) of abundance of rain and i believe god can send the fire and the rain and i believe all the persecution the evil the distractions and the nonsense has prepared us for this very moment to be kingdom-minded citizens that are here for such a time as this and when you walk out of this tent or you turn off the live stream today you can know this no matter how bad it gets when there seems to be nothing there is something and i hear a sound of abundance of rain and if you believe that god is going to show up and show out and get glory get on your feet give jesus christ some praise give god some honor up in this house we hear the sound of abundance ((applause)) you know sometimes i feel like we can look around and be really discouraged and really defeated in our spirits about everything that's going on and i was reminded today of the story of hannah and she wanted more than anything to have a child and so she fasted and prayed so hard that the priest eli thought that she was drunk because she was so desperate for a move from god and there is no doubt here today that some of you are desperate to see god's hand in your life you are desperate to see god move in your marriage you are desperate to see god move with your children or your grandchildren or in your relationship or in your church back at home you're so desperate to see god move but you know what the bible teaches us it's our pride do you know what prevents us from falling on our faces before the holy god of heaven and pouring our life out on the altar in front of everyone because of pride we're not humble people we have it all together and we look the part and we speak the part and we go to church and we go to work and we're these perfect little cookie cutter people can i remind you that there is none perfect but the lord jesus none and this facade that we're trying to keep up so that we don't look crazy in front of people whatever that is i don't even know what that means anymore right it prevents us from being desperate with the lord and today i hear the lord say to you it is time to get desperate church it is time to get desperate it is time to come to this altar to fall on your face before god to make your request known unto him the bible says call unto me and i will answer thee and i will show thee great and mighty things and you want great and mighty things in your life but you're not willing to humble yourself before god and so today as we pray would you come would you join us would you lay it all down on the altar would you join with all of creation and say holy holy holy is the god lord of hosts all the earth is full of your glory lord lord we are desperate for you in this place god ((music playing)) lord there is no doubt that there are so many decisions that we are going to have to make we are going to have to choose this day whom we will serve and lord as monica said earlier we're thankful that we sort of serve a god of choice but lord if we truly believed you if we truly believed that your word was true then ultimately lord we have no other choice there is something inside of us that has to praise you we have to worship you we have to lift your name on high god because lord you are the holy one lord you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we could ever ask or think and lord if we could truly grasp and wrap our finite minds around the fact that you are holy your word says be ye holy for i am holy lord i know that the bible teaches that if a brother is overtaken in a fall to come alongside them and restore such a one in the faith but lord this is not the time that we can play games anymore there is no gray area we are in or we are out we are going to have to have a faith that cannot be shaken and so lord today we humbly come before you and lord we repent because lord we have a battle between us between flesh and spirit and if we're just being honest god there are often times that our flesh wins that battle but i know that my bible says that there is therefore now no condemnation to those that are in christ jesus we can enter into the bold into the throne room and we can enter and have grace and mercy in our time of need god we can boldly approach you the veil has been torn we have victory in the lord jesus christ we are more than conquerors through him who loved us and so lord today we just fall on our faces before you and we say god send the rain send the rain father send the rain i hear the sound of a mighty rushing wind father send the rain in this place god open up the windows of heaven lord and lord we will praise you even when we feel as if there is nothing left there is always hope in the lord jesus and if hope is all we have hope is truly all that we need so father we just thank you and we worship you and we praise you because you are worthy of all honor and all glory and all praise in jesus name amen i want to invite everyone to stand that's able to for the next few moments everyone standing our heads are about if you're at the altar you can certainly kneel i want some of our folks to begin to come if some of our prayer teams some of our folks that are willing to pray over you if you need something from the lord today let somebody pray for you let somebody pray with you and over you and lay hands on you today in the name of the lord jesus let over here just begin to line up line up if you're gonna follow the lord today and make it public i know many of you have driven and flown here for that purpose again we've got folks all over the room here that'll pray with you that i pray for you if you still need to come if you need something from the lord today then you slip out do not miss this moment this is a moment of desperation this a moment of urgency not anxiety this is a moment to release it and let god do something in your life we've got folks praying all over the place but i want to ask you this question all over the room listen every single time we've been in this bigger tent every single time we've asked this question to conclude the service before we go to baptisms and i'd be amiss and disobedient to the holy spirit if i didn't do it right now i know many of you are here because you've watched us online you've seen the excitement some of you been here many times somebody the first time but i'm telling you if you came here to experience something with god and all you got was an experience with us we missed it and you missed it and some of you have something on the inside of you and you know for sure that you need to repent and believe the gospel it's not your works it's not your good looks it's not your job it's not your denominational status it's not what you've done it's what he's done for you and i wonder how many people in the tent how many people in the house today a man a woman a boy a girl a young person visitor member regular attender whoever you are wherever you are one two ten or a hundred i wonder if right now you'd be honest and say pastor i'm telling you i know what the need of my heart is i need jesus i want to know that i'm going to heaven but more than that i want to know my sins are forgiven on this earth i want to be a new creature i want to know for sure that christ is my lord and savior i didn't ask you have you made some emotional decision have you walked a mile signed some card prayed some prayer joined some church or even been baptized have you been born again the bible said if you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that god raised jesus from the dead whosoever shall call upon the name of the lord shall be saved that's not what the church says that's what the bible says you can be born again right where you're at right now and while these many are doing business with god and the baptismal folks are lining up i wonder right now if there would be a man a woman a young person who would say pastor i'm going to slip up my hand because i need jesus i want to know jesus i want to trust jesus today i want to repent and believe the gospel of jesus christ that's what i need i need heart transformation i need my sins forgiven if that's you right now all over this room wherever you're at i want you to slip up your hand high high enough so i can see it thank you in the back thank you right there thank you right here thank you right over here thank you thank you hold your hands up just come on hold them up high thank you there in the back anybody thank you there in the back to my left thank you right there thank you god bless you here's what i want you to do every head bowed every eye clothes all over the room now look i don't have any pixie dust i can sprinkle on you out of a magic potion bag a prayer didn't leave heaven and die for you but a person named jesus did but i want to help you know how to converse with god i want to help you right now in this house have a conversation with the god of the universe the sovereign god of the ages because of the work of his son the lord jesus his death barrel and resurrection you can be saved right now and if you raise your hand where you're at i want you to cry out to god just cry out to god right where you are and i want you to say something like this dear father i know i'm a sinner and i know for my sin i deserve hell but i believe jesus died for me i believe he was buried and rose again from the dead and today lord jesus the best i know how i ask you and you alone to forgive me of my sin and to change me from the inside out cleanse me transform my life i surrender to you and your lordship today ((music playing)) i trust you to change me and by faith i believe that you will take me to your kingdom when i leave this world as we're about before the lord i want to ask you a question sir i want to ask you a question ma'am how many of you in this room honestly sincerely repentively humbly could slip up your hand and say pastor i'm telling you right now for the first time in my life i have repented i have believed the gospel i have trusted the good grace of jesus christ i believe he has forgiven me and right in this seat in this tent today i've the lord and believers believers baptism because the next step is to let the world know what you have done by trusting jesus inwardly you get baptized outwardly so people can see life transformation you don't have to do it today but we're ready for you if you want to remember last week we preached what does hinder me to be baptized do you believe yes then right here it is and some of you that trusted christ we got plenty of towels we'll make sure that you get what you need when you get out of here you can make your way over right now and you can stand in this line and you can make it public now you can wait till wednesday you can wait next week you can wait a month you can wait a year but as a believer you got to follow him at some point publicly and i would encourage you to do that and we're going to worship the lord we're going to have a time of worship during our baptismal celebrations people are still being prayed for people are still being prayed over just before miss
