 serve if you want to see a miracle you just saw one I remember so well sweet little Courtney it was so so sad the first time I met her and look what God has done look what God has done watch out Pastor she's going to take over and I know you would be happy it's my pleasure to be with you I've just got so many emotions today I'm I don't know where to start I guess I can just start by saying I win the prize I'm the oldest one here I can't believe you invited me to come to a wonderful conference like this at my age but I'm going to try and I'm going to do my best to do what I can for you and for the name of my God that I love so much Jesus I have some special company here I have three generations beside myself there four generations hey Miss Kate you're not quite going to win the prize I'm a little older than you but I have my daughter a granddaughter and a great granddaughter here today I think God just smil PR on me to be able to have them here with me today and it's very meaningful to me in fact everybody can sit down except my daughter my granddaughter and my great granddaughter now you can see who they are there Terry Shannon and Zoe and then to be here with Pastor Jensen and wonderful Sharice Sharice you're beautiful he was so lucky to get

 you these beautiful daughters of yours didn't get they didn't come from him they came from you but these people have meant a lot to us they have been kind to us wonderful to us and you know it's amazing to me how beautifully the Lord orchestrates your life if you'll commit your ways to him he will direct your steps he will direct your steps and it was a God thing that brought us together and Jensen and shice have been such a blessing to us and just to be involved with them their family and to watch this church as it has expanded and grown and what you're doing for God around the world we serve a great big God that has never been Limited in anything and to just be here with you is a real pleasure now I'm not a I'm not a preacher I'm a teacher now I'm sure I don't know who else is on the program really but I'm sure you've got some young stallions that's going to really prance them they'll prance around and they tell you all kind of stuff and get you so excited well you got the old gray mayor this

 morning but but I have Liberty from Paul himself to be be here cuz he said let the aged women teach and I'm going to do my best today to give you something from the word of God the word of God is so precious to me and I'm I'm going to tell you the older I get the longer I study it the more I teach it the more fascinating it becomes and the more real it becomes and it's just I I I cannot imagine life without the word of God I just can't imagine life without the word of God so my subject today is the Amazing Power of Words or The Wonder of words we're going to talk about talking we do a lot of it now my husband used to tell me and I I know Pastor really loved my husband but occasionally he was wrong and I enjoyed pointing that out but most of the time he was right but he told me one time that women talk twice as much as men but I checked with Google and Google said that's not true so he's not here for me to tell but I enjoyed saying that anyway but they tell me that we speak about 16,000 words a day can you imagine 16,000 words a day and that even a slow speaker will speak six to 8,000 I don't know where I fall in there it depends on what kind of day I'm having I think but our scripture for today is very familiar Genesis 1 and three God said and when that says God said you know what he said he said words and we're going to talk about today words God spoke before he ever did anything his word is primary the creation of the universe universe was done by his words God didn't work to create it all he just said and it was that gives me an understanding a little a little bit about how important words are and how powerful they are but you see men and women the human race we are the only part of God's creation that uses words he has many Creations that have arms and legs and eyes and heads and brains but none other part of his creation uses words we are created in his likeness and that tells me that there's something very very powerful about words God said let there be and there was words are very creative and spoken word affected matter in the very beginning so that's why I think that it's important for us to understand the power of words because they are powerful now when I was a kid growing up we had a little saying sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me that's a lie there's no way to say it except that's a lie because if you don't think you can be hurt somebody with a sharp tongue can slice and dash your whole being with words they are powerful and they are painful sometime but words can and also heal just an encouraging word at the right time can absolutely redirect a person's life so words are very important and I want us to talk about them today Paul said let me speak boldly Ephesians 6:20 let me speak boldly as I ought to speak he recognized it was not just enough to speak boldly you had to know how to speak let me speak boldly how I ought to speak he said I believe 2 Corinthians 4:13 I believed and therefore I have spoken what you believe is going to come out your mouth I believed and therefore have I spoken that's why you need to understand the word of God second Corinthians 48-18 is a a reading of how much trouble Paul was going through it was terrible he was distressed there was trouble on every side but he said I believed therefore have I spoken we need to learn how to speak it is important to know how to speak because words are powerful and women especially need to know how to use the words of God that can change any kind of a situ ation did you know words affect the atmosphere you can walk into have you ever walked into an atmosphere where there had been some hard harsh words just before you got there you felt it when you walked in words are very very powerful and we need to learn how to use them and if the word of God is so important you better learn how to use it and to know it to use it for yourself now I know we have wonderful preaching great preaching comes across this pull pit I I listen to Pastor a lot but if all the the word you ever get is something that a preacher or Pastor gives to you over a pull pit that's milk of the word not taking away from the power of their preaching but milk is what you feed babies now I like milk but you it's it's considered what you feed babies you know what milk is milk is food that has been Bree pre-digested the cow eats the grass the grass turns to milk some way or other and the milk is given to the baby it's already been digested Pastor reads the word word studies the word preaches the word you're being fed milk of the word it's important for you to grow but you're supposed to grow up in God and fix yourself a steak every once in a while so we need to learn to discipline ourselves to learn the language of Faith as it comes from the word word of God because God is totally and completely trustworthy his word is strong and it's never to be doubted and has never one time proven to be wrong down Through the Ages people have tried to find a mistake in the Bible something that wasn't right find something wrong with it but they have never succeeded the word of God is totally trustworthy and I must learn to trust it now not too long ago I I got concerned about that word trust you see Isaiah 236 or 26 and3 which one it is uh check them both it'll do you

 good but I love that scripture about trust thou wil keep him in perfect peace thou Wilt keep him in perfect peace it's what you reading it whose mind is stayed on you why because he trusts in you now for years I quoted that scripture without the last phrase thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee and I I taught it think as far as God and let your mind stop there but there's there's another part to that because he trusteth in you and the Lord quickened to me that word trust do I really trust do I really really believe do I trust trust is not easy you see let me tell you why we're in Eden by the way I didn't know Eden had a piano but it sure is a beautiful thing and God did all kind of things who knows they may have had piano there he probably would have needed Sharice to be sure it looked like this though but you know this word trust it it can be bothersome how how do you know you're trusting how how can you how can you be very sure that you're trusting because God's word says if you trust you will have peace and the DNA of from Eve in Eden does not come easy for trust she was blindsided her trust was changed it was a question mark the devil put in her mind did God say that is that really what he means can you really trust that that's he's telling you the truth and so it was passed down from her to us and we struggle with trust it's in our DNA to struggle with trust trust but trust is an important part thou wil keep him in perfect peace because he trusteth so I I I did a little study on it and asked the Lord to help me and I came up with my own understanding or definition for the word trust and this is it trust is disciplined thinking so what I mean by that I take the word of God and I discipline myself to think nothing but what it says I don't have to figure it out I don't have to try to understand it what it says is what it is so when I I'm trying to argue with myself I go to the word of God and whatever the word says that's it and you discipline your mind all of us need to understand that it's not easy to discipline your mind so it's something that you have to work at and I have discovered that if I work at it I can do it and I do it by putting the right thing in my mind instead of thinking a hundred other things whatever the word of God says I just continually say it over in my mind disciplined thinking is what will help you to have trust y'all got that so words are containers they either have fear or they have faith Proverbs 6:2 said thou art snared with the words of thy mouth what you think and what you say is very important words are very important and what you say is going to affect how you feel and the atmosphere and everything around you and it will totally determine whether or not you can have faith what you say it's words let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart and the meditation of my heart are the thoughts that I don't say out loud be acceptable in thy sight oh Lord and things to be acceptable in his sight agree with his word and so we have a strong basis that trust is founded in the word of God what the word says is true regardless of how you feel and the only way you can change your feelings by is by saying the word of God out loud now this is so simple but it's true if you say it and say it and say it words affect everything around you it affects the atmosphere it affects how you feel it affects how you're thinking y'all with me on that so thou art snared with the words of thy mouth and you need to let the meditation the thoughts of your mind and the words of your mouth be acceptable in thy sight oh Lord the scripture says I will say of the Lord now we normally emphasize the word say there I will say of the Lord I'm going to put the emphasis on the will because you're the one that has to decide about that I will say I will say of the Lord he is my refuge my God in him I will trust I will I will I will it is a matter of determin ing your will and what you say will affect how you feel everything about you words are powerful and the word of God has all power you need to say what is real say what is true not what you feel we're so quick to say what we feel and the more you say with what you feel the more you entrench that feeling and the word of God if you're not saying what what agrees with the word of God then you're dealing in dangerous words I will say of the Lord he is my refuge my God in him I will trust say what is true not what you feel the spoken word is more effective than anything else we can do it's more effective than reading is more effective than thinking the spoken word is important so I have come up with my own definition of this and I hope you will grab it today because it's working for me and my daughter is going to have to witness that you know what my my husband was a wonderful man do you know what he said to me one time he said honey if you couldn't worry you'd be unemployed and I'm afraid that's true of a lot of us we spend more time worrying than we do anything else of course I had an answer for him we always do don't we I said you don't understand the difference between worry and concern didn't make much sense but it sounded good at the time so I have come up with my own definition of what I feel like the the lord gave me to overcome so much worry women are worriers by Nature we're caretakers we we see everything a man a woman a child can walk into the room and a mother knows instantly if they're not feeling good I remember so well one time I was about 10 11 years old I don't know how really but I got off the school bus and it was it was as far as from here to the back of the back of the balcony up there I got off the school bus and was walking to the house I had taken sick at school we didn't have cell phones I couldn't call Mom my mother walked out on the back porch and stood there waiting for me she said honey you're sick I said how did you know she said when you stepped off of the school bus I knew you were sick women have an intuitive situation that we know a lot of things that aren't spoken we feel it we know it but that's enough that's a wonderful thing and a wonderful blessing but it also can be a big burden to carry because you know too much sometime and it can be a burdensome thing that you have to carry so we have to have some way to relieve that and it's the word of God so I've come up with this definition now don't y'all don't have to call me doct Tenny but uh I have come up with this thing I call replacement therapy y sounds good don't it sounds highbrow replacement therapy this is what it means instead of saying what I feel how I'm feeling I say what the word of God says I replace my negative talk with the word of God which is always true and you actually do that you know your mind goes crazy if you ever had a thought you ever had the what ifs anybody here ever had the what ifs well what if this and then what if that well what what if well what if and there is no end to the what ifs but the word of God says that he will take care of us you know it's dawned on me since I've been studying this if I really believe the word of God did you know I would never have to worry he promised he'd take care of me he promised he'd Supply my needs he he's promised to take care of everything I ever why am I worried he's big enough to do it he's proved it over and over so I am trying to learn now I'm I'm still learning this but I want you to learn it with me I am practicing replacement therapy that is when a Troublesome thought comes to my mind I just replace it with one of the promises from God's word and you know what you cannot think two thoughts at one time you either are thinking the negative or you're thinking what God can do so maybe yall will learn to practice the replacement therapy like like I am learning through faith the Bible says we understand the worlds were framed by the word of God so that the things that are seen were not made of the things which do appear Hebrews 11 and3 evidently words have creative power the world was framed by the word of God no Tu fours no hammers no saws no nothing but it was framed by by the word of God Hebrews 11 and3 you need to remember that words have creation power they are very creative now I am uh you know the scripture says God said and there was whatever God said there was there's no explanation in between God said there was God said let there be and there was it's very evident that the Universe was framed by nothing but the word of God now I have been ENT enchanted with voyager the spaceships ever since they've been out there anybody ever read about the voyagers or hear about the voyagers well they launched Voyager One and Voyager 2 just a few months apart in 1977 they're spaceships they are to explore space because man has always wanted to know what is beyond our own World they launched them that will be 46 years ago they launched them they travel at the speed of 38,000 miles hour I can't even comprehend that they have been traveling 38,000 miles per hour for 46 years and they still have not reached the end of the universe the universe that God said and there was they're out beyond space they're now out Beyond Interstellar space they're out between the space of the most huge or the biggest stars that we can't even imagine no nothing has ever gone that far they are out now I think it said let me see four 4 billion miles away they saw a very large object from these telescope things now why am I teaching a bunch of women about Voyager because the word of God that you have been given and often hold in your hand is what created all that he just spoke it and we think we know a lot when they went to the Moon well there these spaceships are so far out beyond the moon you can't even imagine how far they are and all of is not only created by his word it is held up by his word his word is very trustworthy his word is very powerful and he has given us he has given us his word for us to use in our everyday life now I want to ask you the question are you even familiar with the word of God do you know the word of God it is important for you to know because the universe is did you know the universe is still expanding I checked Google on that too they said it was so God's word is not just finished yet it's still going on out there somewhere beyond anything we could ever imagine imagine well you know I talk about all that and how big it is and my brain just kind of can't take it all in but I have the very words of God for myself he speaks to me the words of God and I can create my own life by his words well somebody say Amen the scripture says in Psalms 1382 thou Hast magnified Thy Word word above thy name now we all know everybody here knows what the name of Jesus means there's power in the name of Jesus they sung about it we sing about it we testify about it we talk about it but the power of the name of Jesus his word gave us that name if it wasn't for his word we wouldn't even have the name he has magnified his word above his name name now I feel like when I call the name of Jesus I've gone as far as I can go that is all power in the name of Jesus but his word is what gave me that name so the word is magnified above the name even and you have it in your hand are you using the word of God do you know the word of God the word of God Is Creative the word of God is powerful the word of God can do anything it has done everything everything forever oh Lord Thy word is settled in heaven it's never going to change it's totally Dependable if you want a good study of the word take tackle Psalms 119 that one chapter will give you a real understanding of the word of God Heaven and Earth shall pass away but my word shall not pass away the word of God is powerful and we need to be understanding it and using it now Jesus had a formula for how he worked when he was on the earth he always spoke before he acted it's a good lesson for us to learn Matthew 21 and 19 he passed a fig tree he spoke to it and what he spoke happened the Fig Tree withered but what I want you to get is he spoke before there was action Mark 4:39 he was on a boat with the the S with the disciples storm came up you know all these stories he calmed the sea but how did he do it he spoke the word Jesus never acted until after he spoke the word always precedes action Mark 92526 a man with a deaf Spirit came to Jesus he he spoke to the spirit and the spirit departed it's a formula Mark uh Luke 8 54 and 55 jarus his daughter I told yall I'm a teacher y'all not shouting and running but I'll tell you what it will do you'll shout and run if you learn to use the word Luke 8:54 and 55 jarus his daughter I I want to point out out something about this when Jesus walked in the girl was dead you all know the story he spoke directly to her to rise he did not elaborate on how bad she was how sick she had been how pitiful it was and we need to be concerned he simply spoke to the problem have you ever heard our testimonies and our request for prayer we give more Credence to the bad situation than we do to the power of Jesus to change it if this is the way Jesus operated I need to learn to operate like this speak to the problem before you expect something else Jesus taught an example that things respond to words he said say to the sycamine tree he said say to the mountain and it shall be words priest Reed action he spoke words and he told us to say words he spoke end results not present circumstances Faith speaks Beyond where you are Faith speaks always to the Future and the word of God can change the future Abraham had his name changed Abraham had a promise from God you all know the story I'm talking to people that you're familiar with the word Abraham had his name changed from Abram to Abraham which meant the father of many and for 25 years he walked around introducing himself to people as Abraham oh you have a large family how many children you have none thought you said your name was Abraham it is where's your family I'm going to have a family a big family my name is Abraham and for 25 years he introduced himself as something he wasn't at that moment at the moment but it was something he was becoming God has promised us so much we live so far below what we could have if we would just learn to exercise faith and believe God and you have to learn to speak the words of Faith the language of Faith Romans 4:17 and 18 says Abraham calleth things that be not as though they were now I've had people say to me well that's kind of lying is it uhuh that's faith in If Abraham did it I can because I am one of his children and of according to that which was spoken get that little phrase according to that which was spoken not according to how they felt what they think it's just according to what was spoken the word of God is true and you have it at your use did you know that an angel came one time when Daniel was praying and he made a a really interesting statement he told it came to Daniel and this is what he said I am come for your words now I'm going to get on one of my candy sticks right now if you took the words Hallelujah glory to God hallelujah amen Praise You Jesus out of our praying there wouldn't be a teaspoon of words left wo I didn't I'm sorry I said that no I'm not we do a we use a lot of filler things God is highly intelligent you can talk to him about the problem describe what you want to but you don't have to use a lot of filler words to get your message across I can speak the word of faith I can speak what I need I can tell God exactly how I'm feeling and then I can use his words because the angel came for Daniel's words and I think sometime the angel comes for our words and he don't get much because we haven't said a lot Hosea 14:2 says take with you words words are important y'all remember that little song oh be careful I'd sing it but I can't oh be careful little mouth what you say oh be careful big mouth what you say cuz job said what I feared Came Upon me me I have read that so many times and wondered what in the world job must have had some horrible fears but don't we all and he said what I have feared Came Upon on me James sh third chapter of James says your tongue is going to direct your life now this is a little statement that I picked up from somebody else years ago and I wrote it down and I've used it many times but listen closely the word of God conceived in the heart formed by the Tongue spoken out of the mouth is creative power the word of God conceived in the heart formed by the Tongue spoken out of the mouth is created creative power words are powerful learn to use words to create your own little Universe because he will answer your words of prayer words are powerful learn to replace worry with words women are wonderful caretakers and we have picked up a habit of worrying about everybody and everything anybody guilty anybody want to admit you're guilty I think we all are but I have come today to tell you something that can change your life your spirit and your health and that is if you will use the words of God and replace the negative thinking that we all have we will live a much happier life a much more Victorious Life and we will see God do wonderful things in our own life and our

 family and I close with this the difference there's a big difference in saying what you have are having what you say I won't say that again there's a difference in saying what you have are having what you say learn to speak Faith's language learn to speak language that has Faith words in it the Roman Centurion came to Jesus told him the problem said there's no need for you to go to my house to heal my my my servant you just speak the word you speak the word and it will be and Jesus said as you have believed the word as you have believed the word so shall It Be The Power of Words The Amazing Power of Words the creative Power of Words God has given us his word we are blessed to to have hold it in our hand read it every day don't wait for pastor to give you the right word learn to use the word let me tell you something else post it you got a problem find you a promise out of the word of God put it on your refrigerator put it in your car on your visor put the word of God everywhere you see it and say it over and over and over because the word of God is powerful and it is creative will you stand I want you just to stand with me and let's lift our hands the music is coming but I want you to thank God for his word it's a miracle that he gave it to us but we have it at our disposal the actual words of God we can say them every day thank you Lord for the word of God God bless I TR in God my savior the one who will never

 fail we sing he will never fail if I trust in God must sa you're the one who will never F oh he will never i s the Lord and he heard and he answered i s the Lord and he heard and he answer I S the Lord and he heard and he answer that's why I trust him that's why I trust him I S the Lord and he heard and he answered I saw the Lord and he heard and and he answered I saw the Lord and he heard and he answered that's why I trust him that's why I trust in God hallelujah come on and praise the Lord in this place what a powerful powerful powerful message you just heard

 one of the uh I'm writing I'm writing a book right now called The Power of short prayers and I'm I'm going through my own life and Through the Bible and I'm finding short prayers and I'm writing comments about it and I'm going to equip people with the power of short prayers the greatest miracles in the Bible were short prayers and one of the short prayers that the Lord reminded me of while sister Tenny taught one of the most incredible messages I'll never forget that message it was lifegiving it's life altering but one of the prayers that the Holy Spirit when I first started preaching told me I read the story of Isaiah he was in the temple and he saw the Lord high and lifted up and then he prayed a prayer and the Bible said and the angel took a hot coal from off the altars of heaven and touched his tongue and many times before I go to the pool pit I'll slip I I'll just speak and I'll say Lord take a take a coal from off the altars of heaven and touch my lips and let me speak your word with fire and power could we do something here this morning morning with all of you amazing ladies that are gathered I know that you want to be a life speaker I know that you want to prophesy and Proclaim over your children and your children's children the positive powerful word of God and plan for their life so why don't we just raise our hands toward Heaven All Over over this room and just say these words say Lord Lord before I leave this conference I take a coal take a from off the altars of heaven and touch my tongue touch and touch my lips touch my lips and purify and purify and Purge and Purge my mouth my mouth of speaking evil of speaking of speaking negative speak of speaking doubt of speaking fear of speaking sickness of speaking disaster Lord I want to speak life I want to speak Victory I speak healing over my children I speak victory over my family I speak blessing over Generations in my family and I speak Praises unto God now throw up your hands and praise him one more time give him all the glory give him all the praise give him all the thanks come on verbalize it it's good to think it it's good to feel it but praise is put a put a word to it put a thank you Jesus put a I believe your word I'll see miracles in my home I'll see miracles in my family I'll stop worrying I'll start Waring with my my words in jesus' name Jesus

 name how powerful and how Godly and how anointed was that vessel that just stood on this platform I love that woman I love that woman I love her I loved her husband I miss him so bad every Saturday I would I could I'd talk with him I'd call him and tell him what I was thinking about preaching and I'd say have you got anything on that and boy he had it many times I throw my little part away and just take his I felt bad about it one time and I told him I said well I can't preach the whole thing brother Tenny he said the Lord told me the more that I give away the more he'll give me and now I find myself having preachers calling me every Saturday now that I got some gray hair and I'm just giving it away and he keeps giving more he giveth more grace don't you love the Lord today I don't know what I'm supposed to do now but it's going to be a powerful powerful after afternoon here come the ladies we love you all welcome on behalf of my beautiful wife Sharice where did she go there she is and uh and uh again did did sister Tenny bring any of her books any of her material see when when you're a legend you don't have to bring your stuff and promote it when you you don't have to they can go to Amazon and get all of her books she's got a lot of prayer books her greatest uh writing stuff is on prayer and it is on another level phenomenal and uh bless her bless her bless her give her one more time I know she's somewhere backstage we love we love the Tenny family so much you're your your gift to the body of Christ
