We hang on TO WHAT LIFE WAS NEVER SUPPOSED TO BE AND CLAIM THAT we're born again and Christians. I've got to show you what is that we've not been aware aware of. I got to wake you up to what has been done. I got to wake you up to innocence conscious. I got to wake you up to understand that YOU HAVE BEEN PARDONED. Hebrews 9:14 through 15 in the King James first. Hebrews 9 Back up to verse 13, Hebrews 9:13. All right, so we got to awake to righteousness. We got to wake up. All right. Now, verse 13. For if the blood of bulls and and of goats and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, if that can sanctify to the purifying of the flesh, so they showed up once a year to get their sins covered. Okay, it wasn't a spiritual thing, but to get their sins covered for a year. That was the deal. And he says that that worked for them. All right, so how much more shall the blood of Christ who through the eternal spirit, HE OFFERED HIMSELF. SO, HE OFFERED HIMSELF WITHOUT SPOT TO GOD. Perfect sacrifice. He offered HIMSELF TO DO WHAT? PURGE YOUR CONSCIENCE FROM DEAD WORKS. And dead works are you thinking that under the law you got to do something to deserve from God. And think about it, OUR WHOLE CHURCHES ARE BUILT WITH YOU GOT TO DO THIS IN ORDER TO GET THAT. YOU GOT TO DO THAT IN order to get that. YOU GOT TO DO THAT IN ORDER TO GET THAT. AND HE CALLS THAT DEAD WORKS. AND he said that he gave his blood to purge your conscience FROM THAT MINDSET OF thinking that you got to do something TO DESERVE IT. GOD JUST CAN'T GIVE it to you cuz he's good. If he gave it to you or if it happened, IT'S GOT TO BE something you did. THAT'S A PART OF THE LAW. THAT'S A PART OF THAT SIN CONSCIOUSNESS. AND HE SAYS, "I'M TRYING and I'm trying He says, "I I I did. I gave myself as an offering so I can purge your conscience from dead works because you can't serve God with sin consciousness." And yet we've opened up churches after churches after churches serving God in sin consciousness. Do all these things. Hey, even come to church. You come to church a lot, then God will bless you. That's He said, "Don't serve me like that. Don't serve me like that. Don't serve me thinking that human input governs my power, my grace, and my love. Human input doesn't govern my goodness. I'm good CUZ I'M GOOD. WITH NO HUMAN INPUT. OH, glory to God. So, WHEN GOOD HAPPEN, YOU DON'T GO PAT YOURSELF ON THE SHOULDER. WHEN GOOD HAPPEN, AIN'T NOTHING LEFT TO DO BUT PRAISE THE LORD. OH, LOOK AT MY GOD. OH, LOOK at Jesus. Oh, HOW GREAT THOU ART. But we keep trying to serve God with a sin conscious. We keep trying to serve God through dead works. Oh, come on now. If you volunteer, if you volunteer this Saturday in our rummage sale, then I'll tell you what, God going to bless you. You'll get a new job for that. He's like, "No. That was not That's That's the law. I died to free you from that kind of thinking." Are y'all hear me? Think I'm going to be tired after all this, but I'm I'm doing this way and doing that and hollering. That's why I couldn't wear a suit this morning. I had to wear something where I can move in. I told Teffer, I said, "This outfit don't make me feel like I work at airport somewhere." >> [laughter] >> Okay, so I can mess with me. You you hush. But it's not as far. So, he offered himself without spot. Perfect. To purge your conscience from dead works to serve Come on. the living God. Verse 15, and for this cause he is the mediator of a brand new agreement. That by means of death for the redemption or the deliverance of the transgressions that were under the first covenant. Or the first covenant is the old covenant. So, all of the transgressions under the old covenant, he gave us a new covenant so that they which are called might receive the promise of his eternal inheritance inheritance and not the judgment of what you would get under that old covenant. And we still still don't get it. We are offended when people tell you you are not called to live under that old covenant anymore. It was written for our learning, not for our living. Things you can learn from the old covenant, but you're not to live by that law. You are to learn from that. And then, YOU KNOW, AH, CREFLO I GOT TO CREFLO AGAIN. OH, CREFLO AGAIN. HEY, Creflo again. And I have to be free from approval addiction or I'll quit this. And I just go back to preaching what everybody else preaching. WELL, WHY NOT? WHY DON'T I GO BACK AND PREACH WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE PREACH? WHY NOT? WHY DON'T I GET A SERMON TOGETHER THAT APPEAL to your emotions and get you to shouting and jumping and screaming and doing cartwheels and then you'll go get your folks AND SAY, "WE HAD A GOOD TIME AT CHURCH. GOD, YOU OUGHT TO GO TO MY CHURCH." WELL, WHAT DID THE PREACHER TALK ABOUT? OH, HE TALKED ABOUT THAT. AND you realize you don't even know what he said. You didn't learn past one line. I ain't doing that. I ain't doing that. Now, God bless God bless anybody else. I ain't doing that. All right, now listen Look at this in the uh Where we at? In the uh Mirror translation. Okay, they got it. Praise the Lord. Okay. Same verse. The blood of beast and the ashes of the of the burnt uh sacrifice of a heifer could only achieve a very temporal and surface cleaning by being sprinkled on the guilty. So, the guilty would come in with all their sin and the priest would take the blood of animal and just uh over there and the blood covered their sins. I like what he said. It was a temporary surface cleaning. Get about shot up. How much more effective was the blood of Christ when he presented his own flawless life through the eternal spirit before God in order TO PURGE YOUR CONSCIENCE FROM ITS FRUSTRATION UNDER THE CUL-DE-SAC RITUAL OF THE LAW. THERE IS NO COMPARISON between a guilt and duty-driven dead religious system. That's what What that's what's going on in in a lot of churches. A cul-de-sac system of regulation. A a religious system. And the vibrancy of LIVING YOUR LIFE FREE FROM SIN CONSCIOUSNESS. THAT HE DID that so you can get free from that system and get involved in the vibrancy of living your life free from a sin conscious Imagine WHAT LIFE WOULD BE LIKE IF YOU'RE FREE FROM A SIN CONSCIOUS AND YOU'RE MORE AWARE OF WHAT CHRIST HAS DONE IN HIS DEATH THAN you are to what's going to happen when you die. Let me tell you something. The day you realize what I'm preaching about right now, heaven is settled. We already know where you are. It's settled. Yeah, but y'all don't know what I did 20 years ago. It ain't on the agenda no more. IT'S NOT ON THE AGENDA. THAT'S THE GREAT THING ABOUT HIM. ONCE YOU REALIZE AND I'LL BE ABLE TO COME AWARE WHAT JESUS DID, YOU GOING TO LOVE HIM. YOU'VE BEEN LIVING ALL YOUR LIFE GUILTY, SHAMEFUL, BEAT UP, OH, I'm just a no good for nothing. And he says, "No, no, no, no, no, no, no. You you're going to realize the freedom that comes from sin when you when you get to live from sin consciousness." He said, "This is what the New Testament priesthood is all about." Verse 15. He says, "As fully representing mankind, Jesus now represented us." Jesus' death brought an end to the old and introduced the new covenant. So, when Jesus died, the old passed away, the new came in. When Jesus died, and then Luke 16:16 says, "The the law the the law and the prophets Luke 16:16, the law and the prophets ended with John the Baptist." Woo, cuz when John's head got cut off, Jesus came on the scene. Good Lord. All right, let's look at this Romans chapter 4:8 in King James. All right, so Jesus' death delivers us from sin consciousness. But we got to be aware of what happened. It can't be just some little Easter thing. Oh, we just we just here thank God thank you Lord for dying for us. And that's all you know? What did the the death was supposed to change you? You can't say, "Lord, thank you for dying for me." and then still walk around with the shame and the guilt and not be aware of what his death delivered to you? THAT'S WHY I GOT TO TEACH YOU. SOMEBODY GOT TO TEACH SOME STUFF. Watch this. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. The word impute operates like this. He will not charge it to your account. In other words, the like the parking meter. I don't even know if they have them anymore, probably don't. The you it Do they have parking meters in certain places? Okay. Uh So, Jesus turned the meter off. It ain't keeping up with the time and ready to penalize you if you stay longer than what you supposed to. To impute means to charge it to your account. So, he imputes righteousness to our account. But he said he will not charge to our account sin. That's that's freaking some of y'all out. HE'S NOT GOING TO CHARGE IT TO YOUR ACCOUNT. NOW, when you really get saved and the Holy Spirit is leading your life, YOU WON'T BE SITTING UP HERE THINKING, "WELL, that mean I can go and do what I want to do." YOU AIN'T GOING TO WANT TO DO IT. YOU'RE NOT GOING TO WANT TO DO IT. BECAUSE when you have a relationship with this Jesus who did this for you, the the desires are going to change. You ain't going to want to do it. Well, what if you if you sleep with five uh with with with five uh uh uh whatever you sleep with, okay? >> [laughter] >> Boy, I got to be careful these days on the boy. You don't know what You you you don't you That's not even in the equation. Cuz when you get saved and the Holy Spirit is dwelling in your heart and changing your desires and taking away your old want to's and giving you new want to's, just get that out of here. Just believe. ALL HE ASKING YOU TO DO IS REALIZE, RECOGNIZE, REST, BELIEVE. AND YOU BUSY THROUGH SIN CONSCIOUSNESS WHAT YOU THINK RATHER THAN SEEING FREEDOM, you see opportunity. Huh, cuz it's opportunity for sin. Huh, sin consciousness. Well, if he ain't charging nothing to my account. Amen. It's not in the equation. But whether you do or not, it still won't change what he's already done. I will not impute sin to your account. That's enough to deliver you from sin consciousness. It's like instead of going around, "Oh God, he going to get me. Oh Lord, he ain't going to bless me. Oh God, did it." And you think, "Wait a minute, I'm still the righteousness of God and he's not imputing sin to my account because he's imputed righteousness to my account rather than imputing sin to my account. Oh my God, I'm the righteousness of God. He imputed holiness to my account. Oh my God, and you become more aware of what he has imputed into your account and what he doesn't charge to your account? And you busy trying to put it on your account anyway when he said, "I won't charge it to your account." Well, I just charge myself. That's what you do. Now, look at this in the Uh yeah, Mirror Study Bible says this. How blessed is the one who receives a receipt oh instead of an invoice. How blessed is the one who receives a receipt instead of an invoice for their sins. I need you to turn to two people and tell them, "I've received a receipt, not an invoice." Oh, you need to shout about that. I have received a receipt, not an invoice. >> ((cheering)) ((applause)) >> All right, Hebrews chapter 9:28 in the NLT. Now, this is big. Hebrews chapter 9 verse 28 in the NLT and then in the Mirror. This is big big big. I bring my notes down there. I'm wondering why am I getting tired going up and down these steps? I should have put my watch on and see how many steps I don't got doing while I'm preaching. All right, watch this now. I'm telling you this sin thing is over. And you you Watch this. So, also Christ was offered once for all times. That means he not going to be offering no hundred times or he was he was offered once for all times as a sacrifice to take away the sins of many people. All right, the sacrifice was to do what? Take away sins. Right? Say it. Jesus sacrifice took away all my sins. All right, now watch this. He will come again. Not to deal with our sins. That's all my life I heard Jesus coming to deal with your sin. You better watch out. He says, "I'm not coming to deal with your sin." Now, there's a coming of the Lord and he says, "I'm I'm not coming to deal with your sin." It's not the second coming. That's a whole new story. But he is coming, but not to deal with your sin. Why is he not coming to deal with your sin? Okay. It's already been dealt with, right? Question. When did he deal with it? Okay. I'm I'm getting a little ahead of myself, but the first time Jesus came was when he was born. The Messiah showed up when he was born. And then he died on the cross. Right? And then the second time he showed up was when? When he resurrected. That was the second coming right there. >> ((applause)) >> I mean, you can count, right? Number one when he was born, number two. And then he showed up to his disciples, that's three. Then he showed up with what? A whole bunch of them. Okay, so so you You follow what I'm saying? There's certain things scriptures that should be futuristic and some of them that were made futuristic should not have been futuristic. Cuz now when he's talking about delivering from our sin, my sin was delivered when he died. And my justification kicked in when he rose. He says, "But And I'm going to deal with you saying but to bring salvation, wholeness, soteria to all who eagerly waiting for him." All right, now look at this same thing in the in the uh mirror. And then we going talk a little bit about what I just said. Cuz some of you you're struggling with what you learned under sin consciousness. Ain't the second coming the rapture? Well, he he going to rapture. We don't care if it's the second or the fifth. It's long as he get in here. I mean, who's coming? He came and I'm gone. That praise the Lord. I sure ain't going to make no issue out of that. All right. Thus in this context of everyone's appointment with a death So now here's what he's saying. Look at what he's saying in context. Everybody has an appointment with death as a result of what happened in Eve Adam and Eve did. And everyone had to deal with the consequences because under the law of sin consciousness, the wages of sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life. He said, "Now thus in the context of everyone's appointment with death Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice. So he's the sacrifice taking man's place. And so man's is not going to have to deal with death or justification because Jesus died the death of human race and justified the whole human race." So Jesus is THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE. WHAT THE FIRST shadow dispensation merely prophetically pointed to. So he's saying what the Old Testament POINTED TO. HE FULFILLED once and for all when he was presented as an offering. Jesus was presented as an offering. TO TAKE UPON HIMSELF THE SINS OF THE ENTIRE human race. NOW WITH NO WITH NO WITH WITH SIN NO LONGER ON THE AGENDA HE APPEARS A SECOND TIME OUT OF THIS DEATH. SO THIS IS NOT THE THE FUTURISTIC coming of the Lord. HE APPEARED A SECOND TIME OUT OF THE DEATH. He was offered as a sacrifice died the death THAT MANKIND IS SUPPOSED TO die justified mankind and out of this death HE APPEARS THE SECOND TIME OUT OF THIS DEATH. He showed up when he was born, appears the second time out of this death to be clearly seen in everyone's wholehearted embrace [snorts] of him as savior.
