Live From It, Not For It! - Wednesday Service Hallelujah. >> Give God some praise in this building. >> Hallelujah. Lord, you are worthy to be praised. >> Father God, we thank you for your presence. >> We thank you for always being with us. We thank you for being in us, not with us. In us, >> we acknowledge that you are in us. >> Yes. >> We move through you. We speak through you. >> Yes. >> We acknowledge you in everything that we do. >> Satan, it gives us great pleasure to remind you that you are a defeated foe. >> You have no authority >> over God's people. >> But we have authority over you. >> Lord, we give you all the glory, all the honor, and all the praise. We truly do. In Jesus name we pray. All that agree said it. >> Amen. >> Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. You go ahead and have your seats. My name is uh Anthony Adams. I'm the senior youth pastor here uh with my wife and I, my wife, Constance. Um it is an honor to be here tonight. Shout out to our man and woman of God, Dr. Dollar and Pastor Taffy. Y'all make some noise for them. They uh just got done just bringing God's grace and authorizing a whole bunch of grace dealers out there in uh South Africa. So, we're super excited about that. I know you guys prayed while they were gone and just made sure that the trip and everything was good and just just so grateful for our man and woman of God. Amen. >> Amen. >> Um I want to talk to you tonight. Um, how many of you heard Pastor Ken's message this morning? >> I did. >> You You heard it. >> It It was solid one. It was strong. I was like, "Man, he all in my message." I'm like, "Well, Lord, do I continue with my message?" He said, "Do what I told you to do, boy." So, I'm going to teach my message tonight. It's titled Live from It, Not For It. >> Live from it, not for it. You don't become like Christ. You live from who you already are in him. There's a journey that we're going to go on tonight and we have about 45 minutes uh to go through it, but we're going to make a few stops on our identity, how we move, how we put certain things on as Paul taught and how each day we wake up, we should wake up reminding ourselves of who we are in Christ and the fact that Christ is truly in us and we're going to arrive at a destination of knowing how to move based off of our God identity and not our born identity. The born identity is the family that you were born in. It's part of your DNA, your personality, and all of these traits that come with it. Well, there are traits that come with when you accept Christ as your Lord and personal savior, you become a part of a new family. And we're going to dive into that tonight. Amen. You guys ready? Let's go to 2 Corinthians 5:17 in the mirror uh mirror study Bible. 2 Corinthians 5:17. It says, "Now the light of your co-inclusion in his death and resurrection. Whoever you thought you were before in Christ, you are a brand new person." >> Hallelujah. The old ways of seeing yourself and everyone else are over. Acquaint yourself with the new. Acquaint yourself with the new. Your life didn't start when you were born again. It was revealed. Okay? Your life didn't start when you accepted Christ as your Lord and personal savior. You have to acquaint yourself with the new. It's revealed to you. You are now being revealed to your new identity. It's not something that you're trying to become. I'm not I'm out here and I've accepted Christ as my Lord and personal Savior. Now the rest of my life is about me becoming. No, you already are. It's being revealed to you. You have to learn how to embrace and accept and walk in it. And each step you take, you're learning more. But more things are being revealed about your new nature and not your old nature. Clap one time if that makes sense. our co-inclusion with Christ. Let's go to Romans 6. I'm going to read 3-10 in the mirror translation. Romans 6. 3-10. It says, "What are we saying then in baptism, if we are not declaring that we understand our union with Christ, it's always going to go back to that union in his death, right? Keep going. Baptism pictures how we were co-arried together with Christ in his death. Then it powerfully illustrates how in God's mind we were co-raised with Christ into a new lifestyle. Everybody say a new lifestyle. >> Okay, keep going. Keep going. We going to 10. How in God's mind we were co-raised with Christ into a new lifestyle. We good? I need to Okay. We were like seeds planted together in the same soil to be co-quickened to life if we were included. Keep going, babe. Okay. In his death, we are equally included in his resurrection. We perceive that our old lifestyle was was co-crucified. Everybody say co- crucified. >> Now, when you think crucified, think of all of the emotion that you that you embrace on Resurrection Sunday. Everybody's doing skits of Jesus being beaten and all this other stuff. The old you went through that same energy. went through that same process, went through that same action. Okay? The old you was crucified. Are you hearing me? >> The old you, how you used to react was crucified. >> How you used to respond, how you used to be easily offended, how you used to be addicted to people's approval and acceptance by people, it was crucified. We perceive that our old lifestyle was co-rucified together with him. This concludes that the vehicle that accommodated sin in us was scrapped and rendered entirely useless. >> Our slavery to sin has come to an end. If nothing else stops you from doing something wrong, death certainly does. >> Faith sees us joined in his death and alive with him in his resurrection. Hallelujah. >> It is plain for all to see that death lost its dominion over Christ in his resurrection. He need not ever die again to prove a further point. >> His appointment with death was once off. >> As far as sin is concerned, he is dead. The reason for his death was to take away the sin of the world. His life now exhibits our here's that word again our union with the life of God. Give God some praise >> in this house. So there were certain things that we see when Jesus died you died. When Jesus got up you got up. You are not trying to become something new. You are discovering someone new. Wow. >> You're not trying to become someone new. You are discovering >> someone new. That simple >> perspective should shift a lot of your minds just like that. >> Yeah. >> God showed me today that dots were going to be connected tonight. Amen. >> Most believers are trying to become what God already says they are. We treat identity like a like a destination when it's our Christ identity is a starting line, >> not a destination we're trying to get to. It's a starting line that we begin the process of walking out. >> You you you following me? >> We got to walk this thing out. Okay? >> You don't pray to become righteous. You don't fight to become accepted. You don't struggle to become new. You wake up from the reality that you already are. >> Hallelujah. >> I already am. >> I already am. >> Um uh Lord, how can I um Maya? Come here. Hurry up. She's like, "Oh my god, Pastor Anthony, what are you about to do?" Y'all make some noise for Maya. Come on up. Come on. She's in team ministry. She's one of our drummers in training, but she also does the sound. She could literally go back there and do some of the things that George does back there from the soundboard. Like if you were to come in here and you had to speak and there was nothing on. She could definitely power it up. Give you a nice mix. Make sure each mic has sound. Make sure the keyboards are on. You pretty dope like that, right? Tell everybody how old you are. I'm 15. >> She's 15. It's okay. It's intimidating up here a little bit. >> Yeah, >> it's all good. So, I need you to do me a favor. I need you to help me illustrate something. Okay. >> Hold your hand out. Close your eyes. All right. So, imagine while your eyes are closed. Keep them Keep them closed. Don't open them up. Imagine you lived in a world where everything cost a penny. >> Cars cost a penny. Houses cost a penny. Right. All right. Don't open your eyes. You've got this in your hand. Put it in your pocket. Don't look at it. All right. Now, open your eyes. Now, because you're not aware of what's in your pocket, you'll still live your life like you live check to check. You know what check to check mean? >> Yeah. Yeah, >> it means once this check is gone, I'm broke and I got to wait until the next check come before I got money again. >> All right, so for some people it's weekly. For other people it's bi-weekly. But either way, once that check gone and it's usually the first that usually gone, right? And we just we broke until the next time. Lord, Lord, be a be a Lord be a be a bush. Be a ram. Let it be a ram in the bush out there for me. Right? But you're living your life in a world where everything costs a penny and it takes someone to go, "Hey, you've got $50 in your pocket." Reach in your pocket. You can buy pretty much whatever you want. If you live in a world that cost a penny, but if you're not mindful that you got that, that you have those resources in your pocket, you'll keep living your life check to check. Does that make sense? Does that make sense to you guys? >> Make some noise for Maya. >> No, that's yours. Go ahead, baby. Transformation begins where revelation happens. >> Transformation begins where revelation happens. What's revelation? It's revealed knowledge. Okay. What's the knowledge that that that should be revealed that's revealed to us that will allow transformation? Well, Pastor Ken taught on it this morning. It's it's when you come to the revealed knowledge that Christ is in us. Wait a minute. I'm not who I used to be. I'm someone totally different. But my brain works. My memory works. Which is why I always when I'm praying, I say, "Lord, bless my memories." Because if you're not careful, you ever been around somebody and every time you come around them, they reminiscing? It's almost like they peaked in high school. Every time we get together, you want to talk about stupid stuff we used to do. Boy, you know, your daddy was a Hey, man. I don't need my kids. What are you talking about, brother? Excuse me. I would rather them not. No, you got to keep it real. You No, I AM KEEPING IT REAL. I'M keeping it real. Owning the fact that I'm in Christ. He's in me. See, some people, you just got to >> Amen. >> Y'all get what I'm saying, right? >> I don't need to reminisce every time we come around each other. Man, let's talk about THE LISTEN, I DID NOT PEAK in high school. There's things that happened since then. Marvelous things, outstanding things, community involvement, people's lives getting changed, ME GOING FROM ONE MINDSET TO A NEW MINDSET, UH THE LIGHT BULB GOING OFF OVER MY HEAD. MY DAD WAS ONE WAY and I changed the trajectory WHERE THE BOYS IN MY FAMILY AIN'T GOING THROUGH WHAT THE REST OF THE boys in my family went through BECAUSE THE LIGHT BULB WENT OVER MY head and I've got revelation which allowed transformation to come. I KNOW WHO I AM. >> I don't want to reminisce about 10th grade. >> Amen. >> Jesus. >> I don't know where that came from. Anyway, transformation begins where revelation happens. That's why my next point is so important. You must train your mind to respond from identity and not react from emotion. >> You hear me? >> You must train your mind to respond from identity and not react from emotion. Let's go to uh Ephesians 4:31-32 in the Amplified version. It says, "Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor, perpetual animosity, resentment, strife, faultf finding and slander be put away from you along with every kind of malice, all spitefulness, verbal abuse, uh mal uh >> malevolence. Thanks, babe. Be kind and helpful to one another. tenderhearted, compassionate, understanding, forgiving one another readily and freely, just as God in Christ also forgave you. Your life now is a constant practice of remembering who you are, not reacting, but responding from identity, your Christ identity. I'm going to respond from my Christ identity. Well, Pastor Ant, that's hard. you know, you know, we we we come in and we say, and and and here's what we do. I'm I'm just Can I keep it real with you? >> You know, cuz sometimes I get up here and I try to be, you know, >> but I'm going to keep it real with you, man. Sometimes we just fake. >> It's just like spiritual phony. And we we we we we use, oh man, MAN, I I GOT CHRIST IN ME. AND THAT turns into a cliche. >> It turns into a cliche. We use all of this religious and Christianes and all this jargon and all this stuff. I'm blessed and highly favored. I'm doing well and all this. It's like what are you talking about? Do you believe what you just said? Do like like do you really believe you know truth becomes a cliche in the context of the Bible not because the content itself is shallow but because profound spiritual realities are frequently reduced to shallow overused or misapplied catchphrases. That's how they become cliches. We overuse them. We we we say them. We don't really don't believe what we saying. We just said it. I said it, but I don't really believe it. I just say it because, you know, I said it really because I want in the heat of the moment or in the heat of the conversation, I want to be accepted. And it and it makes me feel comfortable when people look at me like I know things. So, I say things. What? What are you doing, man? Ain't nobody got time to be playing with you. >> Amen. >> Life is real. >> Y'all got to get up AND YOU GOT TO GO TO work tomorrow. And there's a a real trial and a real tribulation that's probably going to come your way. And this word the acid test to it is do you really believe or are you faking your belief >> because it's going to reveal true belief can be verified. >> So we ain't got time to be out here playing the world already take us as jokes because most of us or some of us are out here and we just play. We just say we know what to say. We know when to say it. But when real stuff happens it get crazy. I was watching uh what's uh Steve Harvey nephew nephew Tommy. I was listening to one of his skits. He do these skits and he called this preacher. It was hilarious. He called the preacher. And the preacher, he said, "Uh, yeah, man. I need help, man. I need to come in. I need to talk to you." He's like, "Okay, son. What do we need to talk about?" He said, "Man, I've been lusting, man. I've been having an affair with this lady." He said, "Who you been you've been having an affair?" "Well, the Bible says that you should come and you should confess your faults one to another so that you may be healed, brother. and you came to the right place. I'm the man and through the power of God, we gonna be able to get through this. And he said, "Well, well, talk to me about it. Go, brother. What's going on with you?" And and what's your name? You a member? He Yeah, I've been going there for a few months, pastor. I just need to talk to you. And he said, "Listen, we going to talk about how you're going to forgive and I'm going to forgive you and God has already forgiven you. I'm glad that you said that, preacher, cuz I've been having affair with the first lady." He said, He said, "Say what now?" I've been having AN AFFAIR WITH THE FIRST LADY, "PASTOR, you talking?" He said, "You you talking about my wife?" He said, "Yeah, I'm so glad that you talk about" HE SAID, "NOW WAIT A MINUTE." He wanted to say, "I AIN'T A KILLER, BUT DON'T PUSH ME." BUT EVEN IN THAT MOMENT, IN THE details of your day, you have to be reminded and you have to remind yourself of who you are in Christ. I'm not saying it's easy. I'm saying it's necessary. >> I'm not saying it's easy. I'm saying something count the cost because it's expensive when you don't. >> It cost you a lot when you don't. >> I had a situation the other day. I mean, I was tired. Uh, I was getting off work and man, it seemed like this dude, I was constantly in the car. She was in passenger seat. I'm driving. I had a headache. I had all type stuff going on, right? I'm driving, dude cut me off. I said, "Did this negro just cut me off?" So, my car is very um visceral. You can feel when I'm speeding up. You can hear very loudly when I'm speeding up. and C go back, what are you gonna do, Pastor Anthony? I said, nothing. I'm just I just want to ask him a question. I just want to ask him a question. Okay. So, I rolled my window down and I tried to take it up a octave. She said the octaves were low, but I believe the octaves. I said, "Hey, brother. How you doing?" I said, "Hey, did you try to cut me off back there?" He said, "Oh, no, brother. I'm so sorry. I'm so sleepy." I'M LIKE, "OKAY, GOD BLESS YOU. GOD BLESS YOU." And I rolled my window up and I drove. I'm like, "What if he would have said, "Yeah, I did it. What you going to do about it? Pastor Anthony, uh, senior youth pastor of World Changes Church International, locked up for choking a negro out. Then the Holy Spirit started dealing with me. What if that was a world changer? >> Or someone who has saw someone who has been impacted by you on Dr. Dollar and Pastor Taffy's platform. Not only does it it affect you, but it affects them and how they view us, the body. I said, "Dang." I started beating myself up. He said, "Now, don't do that either. Just know." So, I know. I know now. But I'm I'm saying this to you because it's it's in the details of your day. It's it it's sometimes it's it's in a in a in a in a heat of a moment in a split second in that instant you got to you know and it's usually with with with with with everything can't move you but let somebody mess with your husband let somebody mess with your wife let somebody mess with your kids your mama or something like that will you respond in Christ I heard somebody said No, it's still being revealed to me, Pastor Ant. Oh my goodness. Here's the thing. Feelings are real, but they are not your authority. Situations are loud, but they are not your truth. Your identity in Christ must become louder. Watch this. Louder than your past. louder than your pain, louder than your personality, and even louder than your DNA. >> You know, when we go, you know where I'm from. >> I'm cut from a different type of cloth. I hope it's the Jesus cloth. >> Because the person that pulled up to the dude and said, "Hey, BROTHER. HEY, HOW YOU DOING?" All facitious and dram, you know, I was very, you know, you know how you're over, mama. You know what I'm talking about. YOU OVER. HEY, MAN. HEY. HEY. DID YOU DO THAT ON PURPOSE? Did you do that on purpose? Your identity in Christ must be louder than your past pain, personality, and even your DNA. Jeremiah 1 and5 amplified version. Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you and approved of you as my chosen instrument. >> And before you were born, I consecrated you to myself as my own. I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations. That scripture reminds us that God knew us before formation. Which means that your identity didn't originate in biology. It originated in God. It didn't originate with the family you were born into, but the family that you accepted when you accepted Christ as your Lord and personal savior. Amen. >> It doesn't originate with with with what what type of cloth you're physically cut from. Okay? I come from a family of protectors. Even the skinny people in my family walk like they 300 pounds. It's ridiculous. All of them. You You can't tell them. You can't tell them you can't beat them. Any of them. Most of them 60s something in their 70s. Boy, I remember. Boy, I put you in choke hole right now. You think you tough? Let's wrestle. What you trying to wrestle this? He 20 years old. He's going to beat you. No, he ain't little boy. You know why, boy? What's happening right now? God knew us before formation. Your identity didn't originate in biology. It originated in God. You can have a family history of anger, addiction, or dysfunction. But in Christ, you now have a new bloodline. You have to decide, will I let my history speak or my identity in Christ speak. That's what you have to decide. A lot of times in the heat of the moment. In the heat of the moment, I have to decide if I'm going to let my history speak or my identity in Christ speak. I don't respond based on what I feel. I respond based on who I am. I don't respond based on what I feel. I respond based on who I am. So, what does that look like practically? Let's go to Colossians 3:12. Uh, let's do the amplified version. It says, "So as God's own chosen people who are holy, set apart, sanctified for his purpose, and well-beloved by God himself, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, which has the power to endure whatever injustice or unpleasantness comes with good temper." Okay, let's read that in the mirror translation. Oh yeah. It says you are the product of God's love. You are restored to their original thought. You are innocent and whole. It is like changing garments. The old person you thought you were is taken out of the equation. Sink into this beautiful new person as into an exquisite tailormade garment. delicately embroidered with inner compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. When conflict comes, dress like who you are. That word put on, Paul is saying your identity comes with a wardrobe. Your identity in Christ comes with a wardrobe. Okay. What's the wardrobe? Compassion, kindness, humility, patience. These are not behaviors you borrow. There are clothes you already own. Put them on. >> There are clothes you already own. Put them on. Everybody say, "Put it on." >> Put it on. >> Say, "Put it on." >> Put it on. >> In the heat of the moment. >> Put it on. >> No. Say, "In the heat of the moment." >> In the heat of the moment. >> No. You say, repeat after me. In the heat of the moment, >> In the heat of the moment, >> I'm going to put it on. >> I'm going to put it on. >> I'mma put it on. >> I'm put it on. >> I'mma put it on. >> I'mma put it on. >> I'mma put it on. >> I'mma put it on. >> Put it on. These are not behaviors you borrow. They are clothes you already own. So when conflict hits, when that person is coming up to you and they're disrespecting you in your face in front of people, when they're lying on you, making up stories on you, you don't try to be patient, you put on patience. You don't try to forgive, you put on forgiveness. Righteousness isn't just who I am, it's how I show up. Righteousness is not just who I am. It's how I show up. >> But here's the tension. Every day you choose flesh or identity. Flesh, a way of thinking that goes against God's word or my Christ identity. I choose Romans 6 and 111. You already read that. Ephesians 2:10. Romans 6:11. Even so, consider yourselves to be dead to sin and your relationship to it broken. What is it? Say it like I said it. Broken. And your relationship to it broken, but alive to God in unbroken fellowship with him in Christ Jesus. All right. Ephesians 2:10 in the amplified version. Hallelujah. Ephesians 2:10 in the Amplified version. For we are his workmanship, his own masterwork, a work of art, created in Christ Jesus, reborn from above, spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used for good works which God prepared for us beforehand, taking paths which he set so that we would walk in them, living the good life which he pre-er pre-arranged and made ready for us. You have two options in every situation. Either you're going to reach into the flesh or respond from who Christ already made you. The struggle isn't becoming better. It's choosing which version of you shows up. It's choosing which version of you shows up. Romans 6:11 says, "Rcken yourselves dead." Well, all that means is consider it settled. The sin part, it's settled. It's settled. You don't have to choose who you used to be. You're not forced to choose. It's not your nature anymore. You were born with sin nature. But when you accept Christ as your Lord and personal Savior, old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new. That nature similar to the the nature of a rattlesnake. I don't care how how I love snakes. Okay. Well, whoopde-doo that you love snakes. Look at the rattler on it. It's so cute. It go look at the pattern. This the the the the the pattern on the snake. You go up to that dog on snake if you want to trying to pet with it. It's going to do what it's in its nature to do, which is what? >> Bite you. And then what's it going to do? >> Inflict what? >> Venom into you. Not because IT'S A BAD SNAKE, BUT BECAUSE IT'S THAT NATURE. LIKEWISE, when we were born, we were born with that sin nature. There were certain things we did. I don't know why I did it. Why you do that? Why you take the cookie out the cookie jar? I don't know. And you one years old. How you know how to lie? YOU AIN'T BEEN HERE BUT 10 MINUTES. HOW YOU KNOW HOW TO LIE? I DON'T KNOW. It's a sin nature. BUT WHEN YOU ACCEPT CHRIST, THAT NATURE IS GONE. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE THAT PERSON ANYMORE. YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO those things anymore. YOU'VE BEEN REDEEMED BACK TO OUR ORIGINAL STATE. >> I'M THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD. PERIOD. I'M NOT ABOUT TO GO BACK AND FORTH WITH WHO I USED TO BE OR GO GO TELLING YOU. I had to tell my wife this. I stopped I had to stop sharing my story because some young people would hear it and based off of where they were would glorify it and then go, "Well, if he made it, I can make it, too." Uh-uh. Uh-uh. So, I stopped sharing that and I started going more heavy more with where God has brought me to more than where he's brought me from. Now, I know people are set free from the word of a testimony, but sometimes we do it and it's not what God told you to do in that moment. We do it because, you know, like things become cliches. You just do it because, well, you know, I I was facing 22 years in prison and I WAS DOING THIS. DON'T NOBODY CARE NOTHING ABOUT THAT. WELL, it does make for a good story, but everybody ain't like that. One of my uh bros, everybody don't need a gory story in order to be heard. Amen. >> ALLOW THE POWER OF GOD to be able to speak through you and allow and trust his word and what's coming and what he's allowing to come out of your mouth more than just the stuff that you've been brought out of. Sometimes we have a tendency to glorify those things in the unintentionally glorify who we used to be. >> And we got to stop that. I know people are set free from the word of our testimony, but how we present it, I I I believe there's something to it. I'm still studying it out, but I believe there's something to that. Amen. >> Amen. Wrecking yourselves dead. That means considerate the sin settled. It's like having two outfits laid out every morning. One is your old life, one is your new life. Which one you going to put on? Which one you going to put on? Either I'mma put on Okay. No. Forget in the morning. It's been a good day. It's been a good Wednesday. We get out of church. We go to the G. Babe, I need to get some gas. Okay, babe. I'mma follow you there cuz we drove separate. Somebody, Lord forbid, but somebody come up to her. Amen, lady. You need help with that gas? >> No, I'm fine. Thank you. We'll bump you then, lady. I'm just trying to be I'm married. I'M SORRY. AIN'T NOBODY ASK YOU IF you I got to decide in that moment, Kamisha. What am I going to put on? Am I going to put on who I used to be? Cha cha. What I'm going to put on? Am I going to put on who I used to be or who I am now? Well, I'm come. Hey, brother. How you doing? Praise God. How you doing? The sister says she okay. You all right? Everything all right with you, man. Who you THINK YOU IS, MAN? I NEED YOU. I'm just going to sit here and I'mma pump this gas. Now, at this point, Lord, I trust you. Because like I tell the young men, a lion doesn't have to tell anybody he's a lion. >> You just be. The problem with a lot of these young men in this society and that's coming up, they they feel like they have to prove and it's like show and tell. It's like a a a a young version of show and tell. I got to show you that I'm on what I say I'm on. And it's like that's why the jail in the in the cemetery is so filled with young young men. And now, as it seems, young women. >> Yeah. Because they got to prove or they got to act like they're something. And it's like, man, I got to I got to Lord, express yourself through me. You're in me and that means something. I'm going to continuously remind myself that you're in me. I'm going to continuously remind myself that I am not the man that I used to be. And I'm going to habitually choose to put on my Christ identity more to put on who I am in you more than who I was in the world. >> Because who I was in the world was headed to death very quickly. >> Very quickly. Extremely quickly. You understand what I'm saying? But you don't want to put so much emphasis on the, "Oh man, I ain't go for this and I ain't go for that." And without putting the emphasis on, I've been redeemed. I'm not who I used to be. That man doesn't exist anymore. That part is dead. And I refuse to go back to it. I don't care how it comes. Lord, I know that you won't put on me more than I could bear. Which means that gas station incident that I said won't happen because in this moment at 7:51 p.m. I don't believe in something. Well, I won't say that. I trust that when the situation arises, I'm going to express Christ. >> And I declare and I speak that over you, too. There's going to be conversations that you have, phone calls that you get. When you leave here, people are going to say things to you to try you, to try your nerves, to try your patience, to try your gangster, your your your gospel gangster, right? Remember, no, my identity, my Christ identity has to be louder than my DNA, louder than my pain, louder than my emotions. and I'm going to walk in that and I'mma choose. I I may not always get it right, but Lord, I'm I'm committed and I'm I'm open to being shown more about me by you. Remember, it's not something we become. It's something that's revealed. It's revealed to us. And every trial that comes your way reveals even more about your Christ capabilities. He said, "Greater works will you do in his name." It's not just about raising the dead, like Pastor Ken was talking about this morning. Not just about raising the dead. No, he was limited to a a physical body when he was here. No. No. You'll do more in my name means I'm in you. I'm in Ryan. I'm in Cheryl. I'm in Chaa. I'm in Angie. I'm in all of you. So, wherever you are, Christ is too. >> Will you allow him to be expressed through you when it matters? When does it matter, Pastor Ant? When they trying you, >> when they done called you about your name, >> when they done lied on you and got you fired from your job and you have to really stand on God will supply all of my needs. And it goes from being a cliche to something you have to live by. No more empty cliches that you know all this Christian eesies we like to use and you know we like to say you know God going to supply all my needs according to riches and glory while I'm still worrying I'm still I'm still ftting my the sweat still coming from my brow you know what sometimes you got to do it that way why because it's being revealed to you and then when you come on the other side don't forget the same intensity that it took to resist the fear fear and resist the the the the the panic should be the same intensity that's put into that praise when God has brought you to the other side of it. Why? Because more of who you are has been revealed to you. >> So just like with with David, it wasn't just the uh the uh the giant I did the bell. I did the lion. I made I came out on the other side of this eviction. I came on out on the other side of this divorce. I came out on the other side of this broken relationship. And if God brought me through that, he'll bring me through everything else. It's a finished works. I'm not trying to get out here trying I'm not trying to pray more or do this more trying to move God. No. God has already moved. And I'm going to align my mind and my heart with what's already done. I'm going to walk it. I'm gonna walk it like it's done. I'm gonna walk it like it's finished because it is and not because I'm trying to get it to try and be. I'm not gonna try and live my life trying to become something I already am. I'm just going to walk in my I amness. >> Yes. >> I'm going to walk in it. >> I'm going to walk in it because sometimes IT'S ALL YOU GOT. AND IT HAS TO GET TO THE point when it gets you to the point where it's all you've got, >> transformation takes place. Amen. >> You choose what you wear. You don't fight sin to win. You stand in identity because you've already won. I got seven minutes. I'm going to close here. You died with him. You rose with him. You are seated with him. So now the question is will you live like it? I say yes. I say yes to living like I am in Christ and not who I used to be. I refuse to believe that my best days are behind me. I don't care what age you are. There's purpose in you. God still has use for you and he's going to need you to express him in difficult times because that's what's going to reveal more of who he is in you and who you are in him. Stop reaching for what's already yours. Stop striving for what's already finished. Walk in it. Talk from it. Respond through it. You are not becoming who God called you to be. You are learning to live as who he has already made you to be. Amen. >> I'm going read that one more time. You are not becoming who God called you to be. You are learning to live as who he already made you to be. It's finished, y'all. >> Stop responding the same way. You're different. You're you've changed. The example that I use with Mayana when she came up here, if everything in this world cost a penny and she got $50 in her pocket, but she don't know it, then she'll keep living like it's paycheck to paycheck. You don't have to live check to check anymore. World changes. >> The resources are there. >> The God that said, "Let there be light," resides on the inside of you. And the light still shine. >> He's in you. He's in you. I said he's in you. >> Don't magnify the pain over his word and his promise. Don't magnify how you feel as if it has the final say or if it's as if it has the authority. It does not. No. A lot of times how you feel is based off of what you see. And the whole one of the founding pillars of being a believer is we walk by faith and not by for that very reason. It'll trick you up out of your identity. Have you questioning God's existence and you'll find yourself, how did I even get here? I'm questioning whether God is real or not. Where they do that at? It's when you walk around and all of the things of the Bible becomes a cliche instead of something you really live by, something you really stand on. And you know what brings it up out of you? Hard times. I know from personal experience where you think you're in lack when he said that. I'll meet all of your needs. I'll give you everything you need. Just trust me. Just believe in me. Involve me in the details of your day and quit trying to figure it out on your I don't know. I don't know. Stop saying that. But you know how much wisdom is on the inside of you? I'm here. Sometimes we we allow the frustrations of our day to speak louder. And then we come to church and we're reminded and we go home and somebody calls and we're triggered. No more of that. I'm not saying that it won't happen. I'm just saying. Own your Christ identity. Don't you know who you are? Stop listening to the lies. What did God say to Adam and Eve? We here because we was naked. What'd he say to him? >> Who told you that? Sometimes we got to fact check the stuff we hearing because some of the stuff we hear don't even line up with a little bit of the word of God, but we listen to it. Well, that one nothing but the devil. Well, you know he a liar. What do liars do? What' you believe him for? I don't know. I got caught up in my emotions again. No, God gave you your emotions for you to enjoy life. They're like a a gauge, right? letting you know, okay, you know what? I need to spend time with God. Why? Because I'm angry. It's okay that you that you feel angry, but what are you gonna do with that anger when it comes? Are you going to respond based off of who you used to be? What are you going to put on? The old outfit or the new one? The new one look better? Blessings and curses, life or death. Choose life. Choose life. Here's that. Choose the new outfit. Put the new outfit on. Be kind when you want to go off. When you want to pull up on somebody because they cut you off on the side of the road, let them go. Stall them out, Debo. Stall them out. Let them let them live. It's all good. You get to go home and you get to enjoy your family. You get to eat your food and different things like that. You know how many people on Mallalerie Road right now, Forest Lawn Cemetery filled with people who are walking around with the resources in their pocket. Amen. >> Did you learn anything tonight? Father God, I just thank you, Lord God, for everybody watching online, for everybody that's in this building tonight. I thank you, Lord God, that they awaken to who they are in you, and that they live to express you in the details of their day, not when it's just easy, but especially when it's hard. I thank you, Lord, that they are equipped and prepared for everything that comes their way. If they weren't, it wouldn't come. And I thank you, Lord God, that they cast not away their confidence in you because not only in the end, but during the process is a great recompense of reward. Lord, we trust you. We believe you. We acknowledge you. We worship you. We adore you because you adore us. And we accept that love. We accept that protection. And we embrace the peace that passes all understanding, especially when the storms come. We thank you Lord God that because you're on the inside of us when the storms come, we have the reality to understand we are the storm. No weapon formed will prosper. We declare it so Jesus name we pray. Amen. >> All right. Love you. World changes see money. I need to learn how to use that. Listen y'all, I was over there thinking and um I'm just praising God in my heart because the wonderful thing about God is when we hear messages like that and it speaks to an actual situation that we're currently going through and then you get the answer and that's how you know God loves you and you know he's there and you don't have to worry about the situations that we experience in life. There I am sitting over there and I heard the very answer that I was looking for. That's how you know it's God. And that's how you know he loves you. And that's why it just makes you want to just love on him even more. Amen. And at this time, this this opportunity to give. It gives you that moment. We give you that opportunity to worship God with your giving. Uh this is a time where we sew seeds from our heart. We don't pressure you to give. It's up to you. And if you have a relationship with God, I'm sure he's already given you what he wants you to sew in your heart. So, if you want to give at this time, raise your hand. This is our way to worship you. We're so grateful for the answers that we receive today. And this is our way of saying, Father, we have great gratitude for the God that you are. So we sew this into your kingdom with love, thankfulness, and gratefulness that you choose to bless us in this way. And we declare that it will grow in Jesus name. Amen. >> If you have an offering envelope, there'll be buckets on the outside. You can give that way. Uh right now we're moving to the part of the service if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Um what a time to do so. You already know here at this ministry if you've ever been here before, we don't force uh we don't pressure. We simply give you the opportunity to receive because as children of God, we are recipients. We simply receive. And Christ did it all. He died on the cross for your sins so you can be have a personal one-on-one relationship with him and be connected to the father forever. It's not just about your sins being forgiven. It's not just about going to heaven. There is so much more to salvation. And if you've never received Christ, why not? It's a free gift. So if that's you, pray this prayer with me. Father, in the name of Jesus, I realize I'm a sinner. Today I make a decision to make you Lord of my life. Now come into my heart and save me in Jesus name. Amen. Come on y'all. Let's give it up for those who got saved. Praise God. Listen, if you just prayed that prayer with me today for the first time, we have a tool that we want to help you with your new journey. Scan the QR code on your screen or text I'm saved to 51555 for a free ebook as a gift to you today. Amen. All right, let's stand so we can dismiss. I'm going to pray a blessing over you. Father, in the name of Jesus, I declare great grace, great provision, great understanding, great wisdom over your people. I declare the best of wealth and the best of health to find them. I declare no weapon formed against them shall prosper. I declare that the angels have charge over them in all of their ways lest they dash their foot against a stone in Jesus name. Amen.
