Go with me to Acts chapter 1. Thank God for his anointing. But ye shall receive power Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power But ye shall receive power But YE SHALL RECEIVE POWER YE SHALL receive power after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you. And ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and all Judea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Saints, if it wasn't for the Holy Ghost, I would be sunk. If it wasn't for the Holy Ghost, you would not be where you are today in Christ Jesus. If it was not for the Holy Ghost, you would not know what it is to even know the living word of God. Do you hear this? There's one thing that you must not lack in your life. Do you all hear me? There's one thing you must not lack in your life, because if you lack it you'll never know what I'm talking about. And you'll never get what he's promised you. It's called hunger. If you lack hunger you are not a spiritual personality. Hunger for God IS THE GREATEST SIGN OF SPIRITUALITY. And hunger is the proof that the Holy Ghost abides inside of you. There are those who will sit in a service like this and be totally unaffected. They can feel the presence of almighty God and remain completely unchanged. THAT'S BECAUSE THERE'S NO HUNGER inside of them. When I surrendered to the spirit I surrendered because of great hunger. Hunger for his divine presence in my life, because nothing in this world satisfied. You dear businessmen and you precious housewives and you dear businesswomen and students, you listen to me. This life out there is totally full of death and emptiness. And unless your heart is filled with God's divine presence, you will always be restless and you will always be frustrated and YOU'LL CONTINUALLY BE BOUND AND YOU'LL BE BOUND TO legalism and law. Because the human nature without the Holy Ghost is attracted to rules and regulation. The human nature cannot get away from rules and law. By nature, WE ARE DRAWN TO OBEY LAWS AND COMMANDS. Because when you and I were born as little children, we were born in law and bondage. We were born conceived in sin and by nature we are drawn to obey legalistic rules. By nature, we are drawn to be slaves rather than masters. But when the Holy Ghost enters into your life, he releases you from that natural fleshly LAW INTO A HEAVENLY SUPERNATURAL LAW. You're no longer drawn into law, you are drawn towards grace. You're not drawn towards rules, do's and don'ts, you are you are drawn towards I surrender all, Lord. You're not drawn into a place where you're a slave, you become a master rather than a slave. And the difference is one glorious truth called hunger. Hunger for God will draw you towards liberty and emptiness where there's no hunger will draw you towards bondage. Are you listening here? Precious sir and precious lady, you hear this. Your life consists of so many years that pass so quick. You're here one day, you're gone the next. What matters today won't matter 10 years from now. In 10 years will be will be gone like 10 seconds. What you do in your body today will matter for eternity. And will literally come back at you. Do you hear this, please? He that soweth to his flesh shall reap corruption. And he who sows to the spirit shall reap life. Whatever I do with my body Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, I will reap back. Never forget what Oral Roberts told me one day listening to him, that great man of God, he said, "What you sow in life will always come back at you 10 years later. Always remember that." He said, "You sow You sow good and good will come back at you 10 years later. You sow evil and it'll come back to you at 10 years later. You sow sin and sin will take you over in 10 years." I said, "Why 10 years?" He says, "Because this is the number that God always uses for responsibility." There's always 10 years of grace before God will bring judgment. I never thought about that. He says, "God will always give you 10 years. It's always in 10. It was 10 days before the Holy Ghost came." 10 days they were in the upper room when Jesus ascended. 10 days later. He was with them 40 days and 10 days after his ascension the Holy Ghost came. He says, "Always that 10 number 10. Always on my 10." My God, I look back and I see that happening in my life. Things I did 10 years ago are now back in my face staring me in the face. Be careful what you do. 10 years from now you'll be paying heavily for whatever you've done now. If daily I give myself to God, imagine the harvest will come back. Imagine the harvest will come back. Saints, there's people here today who are going to hell and they have no escape. Some of you who are listening to me right now who will never make heaven. You better hear what I'm saying. You won't make heaven. You know why? Because you lack hunger. The lack of hunger means you'll never see the face of God. JESUS SAID, "BLESSED ARE THEY THAT HUNGER." IF YOU'RE NOT BLESSED, YOU'RE CURSED. Hunger will bring blessing and the opposite will bring a curse. And those who hear a message like this, even watching television or sitting in this church, be totally unaffected because God is not working in them. And if God isn't working in you, there's a devil working in you. Because you're never empty. You're never empty. You're never empty. It's darkness or light that will work inside of you. You'll never be on the fence between both, never. Or God works or the devil works. Or you belong to God or you don't. People say, "Well, I don't belong to nobody." Oh, yeah, you do. Oh, yeah, you do. Or your God is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, or he's the devil himself. And if God, the God of heaven and earth is your God, there will be hunger. THAT'S THE SIGN THAT HE'S IN THERE. Cuz God will never ever ever ever ever give you satisfaction. There'll be hunger till the day you see him face to face. The very proof that I'm saved is I'll always be hungry. The second I quit being hungry is the day I'm I'm dead. See, IT'S HUNGER THAT DRIVES YOU CLOSER. I don't pray because I'm guilty. I'm praying because I'm hungry. I DON'T READ THE WORD BECAUSE I'M GUILTY. I READ IT BECAUSE I'M HUNGRY. IF GUILT IF GUILT PULLS ME, I'M NOT DRAWN BY GRACE. I'm drawn by law. Is that getting through to you? The natural man is drawn by law and the spiritual man is drawn by hunger. The man who says to me, "I make myself pray" is a man who's controlled by law and bondage. BUT THE MAN WHO PRAYS BECAUSE HE LOVES GOD IS DRAWN BY grace and hunger. You grabbing this, aren't you? HUNGER IN MY HEART IS THE PROOF OF THE HOLY GHOST IS ALIVE IN ME. The day I'm hungry is the day I know he's alive in me. The day I'm not hungry is the day I know he's departed from me. Why is it that the human nature is always drawn to law? Cuz that is birthed by Satan. Satan gave birth to bondage. And Jesus gave birth to grace. The man who's drawn to freedom is the man led by God. The man who's drawn, as all natural men are, for only born again people are free from that. But the man who is drawn by law and rules and regulation, you know why many Christians cannot get away from legalism? Because they're oppressed and taken over by Satan. If you meet a legalistic Christian, he's a man who does not know the Holy Ghost because the Holy Spirit is called the spirit of grace. Grace is opposite law. Christians who can't get away from legalistic rules and regulations have never known the Holy Ghost. Never known the Holy Ghost. Law speaks [snorts] loudly but the Holy Ghost is not present. For where the spirit the Lord is, there is liberty. WHEN THERE IS LAW, THEN THERE IS BONDAGE, AND THERE IS LEGALISM, that's the absence of the Holy Ghost. You attend a church that's legalistic, get out because God is not there. For the Lord brings liberty to his people. Liberty. I said liberty. Ye shall receive power. Power doesn't exist in law. All you have in law is a powerless bound slave. Power exists in the area of grace and liberty and freedom, which only hunger drew draws you towards. Only hunger [snorts] draws you towards. Only hunger. When you're hungry, you're drawn towards the God of heaven, the one who liberates you. I'm hungry for liberty. I'm hungry for his truth. I'm hungry for his presence. I'm hungry for him. And that's what draws me to his word. You see, saints, it's something like this. If you pray because you are guilty, you've never met the Holy Spirit. Because if I got to say it again. I got to say it again. And this is going to come right down to your level. Here you are, you wake up one morning and you say, "I'm going to pray today." If you say, "I'm going to pray today," that's the flesh. Because you you you won't. I said you won't. And if you do, it's totally dead. Then when you quit, you've accomplished nothing. Now most folks will will get up in the morning and say, "I'm I'm going to pray today." Evening comes, nothing happens. Now guilt begins to build. Next day they get, "I'm going to do tomorrow." Tomorrow comes, same thing happens. No true breakthrough. Third day comes, same thing happens. Now out of guilt, you say, "I must pray. I have to pray. I'm going to make myself pray." You do and God is a million miles away. You know why? Cuz you are totally controlled by the flesh. You're not praying because you're hungry, you're praying because you're guilty. You're praying because you think, "I'm doing God a favor to prove I can do it." God says, "If you can do it, I don't want you to do it." You say, "What What are you talking about?" Saints, we don't pray because we're guilty, we pray because we're hungry. And after you pray, there's no guilt, there's liberty. I don't pray, please hear this. I don't pray to prove anything to him. I pray so he can prove himself to me. I don't pray TO TALK TO HIM. I PRAY SO HE CAN talk to me. I don't pray so I can impress him. I pray so I can be awed by him. That is what hunger will produce. Same thing with his word. Is this helping you? Same thing with his word. I don't read the Bible because I am told to. I'm reading it because I want to know him. I'm hungry to get closer. Now when I read because of law and because of legalism and because of bondage, I make myself read the word and I'll read three, four chapters and put my Bible aside and forget what I've just read. Law produces forgetfulness when it comes to the things of God. You'll open the Bible and read it in your bed on your chair and you'll read it and read three, four, five, 10 chapters and you put the Bible away and you've just been totally unaffected. It hasn't touched you one bit. You know why? It's been moved by the flesh. But if you're moved because God touches your heart, we can't call without his quickening spirit upon us. David said, "Quicken me and I shall call upon thee. OPEN MY EYES that I may behold wondrous things out OF THY LAW. GOD, YOU TOUCH ME BEFORE I MOVE." And when you're TOUCHED BY THE SPIRIT TO OPEN HIS WORD, he's touching you not to release yourself from guilt, not to please your legalistic nature. BUT HE'S MOVING UPON YOU TO READ THE WORD TO BE FREE from legalism and bondage. The word will produce the opposite. Oh God, help the people catch what I'm talking about. That's why he said it's not by might, it's not by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord. See, the thing is this. The Holy Spirit he is the reason for me wanting to talk to God or read his word. So, what must I do? I must yield to the Holy Spirit. Today, I'm going to teach you how to literally be filled with the power of God. He said, "Ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost after that the Holy Ghost has come upon you." In Acts 4, turn to Acts 4. You'll get to the place where that power will become great power. That power will become great. Say great. Great. Acts 4, verse 33. And with great power. With great power. WITH GREAT POWER. WITH great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Great power. Everyone say great power. Great power. Say it again. Great power. Lift your hand and say it again. Great power. Say, "Lord, I want great power." Lord, I want great Great power. Great power. Great power in my life. Great power in In my witness. In my In my home. In my In my words. In my Now, if you want great power, so there's only one way to get it. Develop a relationship with the spirit of the Lord. Ye shall receive power after that the the Holy Ghost has come upon you. And when the Holy Ghost came, there was power, but the relationship of the Holy Ghost came, there was great power. You see, the Holy Ghost came on the day of Pentecost, but they didn't know him then. But then when they began to know him, great power developed. I'm going to say this again. Power came on Pentecost. Great power Great power came after fellowship had developed between them and the spirit of the Lord. Now, the Bible declares that the Holy Spirit is a seven manifestation spirit of God. In other words, he manifests himself in seven great truth in seven great ways. He's There are no seven Holy Spirits. There's one Holy Spirit. But he has seven revelations. He has seven manifestations of himself. The first manifestation, take a pen and paper, write it down, please. Well, let's just quickly read, Fred. You give Fred a microphone. Revelation 1:4. I want you all to look at this because I want you to see that you'll never see the Father without you see the Holy Spirit manifestations there. Again, the Holy Spirit is revealed to us in seven manifestations. Seven is the number of perfection. Perfection. I've taught on the Holy Ghost here many times. I've I've never taught on what I'm teaching here today. You see, because the Holy Spirit is a limitless spirit of God. He's a limitless person. You'll never discover the full You'll never come to the place to say, "Now, I know it all." Every so often, God's going to allow us here in OCC to get a little more truth about the Holy Ghost. Are you all hearing this? Okay, Revelation 1:4 says what, Fred? John to the seven churches which are in Asia, grace be unto you and peace from him which is, which was, and which is to come, and from the seven spirits which are before his throne. Seven spirits, of course, don't mean the Holy Ghost is seven. There are no seven spirits. Seven is the number of perfection. That is the perfect manifestation of God through the Holy Ghost. The seven revelations, in other words, that the Holy Ghost presents. Whenever you see the church, you'll see the Holy Ghost in the center. Revelation 1:4. God is talking to the church, but he's talking through the Holy Ghost to the church. Then you look at Revelation 4:5. Revelation 4:5. Every time you see the Father, before you can approach him, you have to go through the Holy Ghost. Before you approach the Father, you have to go through the Holy Ghost. Revelation 4:5. Verse 5 says what, Fred? >> And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices. >> That's the throne of God the Father. And there were seven lamps of fire before burning before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God. The Bible goes to it says the seven spirits of God, Fred. Ladies and gentlemen, look at me. You see the church, you see the Holy Ghost right in the center. You see the Father, you can't approach him without going through the seven lamps, manifestation of the spirit of God. And then Revelation 5:6. When you see Jesus, you you you see the Holy Ghost all over him. Revelation 5:6, Fred, please. >> And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a lamb as it had been slain. >> That's Jesus, the savior. And then >> Having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God. >> Here we see him covered with the Holy Ghost. Now, what are the seven revelations of the Holy Ghost? These seven revelations will be in your life if you meet the Holy Spirit. Number one, he is the spirit of grace. That's the first revelation about him. Hebrews 10:29 says, "He is the spirit of grace." How many of you want to know the fullness of the Holy Ghost? Say amen. Now, I'm I'm going to give you what the Bible declares to be the fullness of the spirit. Jesus had the Holy Ghost without measure. He had the fullness of the Holy Ghost. You and I can receive that, but step by step we get there. From glory to glory, we're changed by the spirit. 2 Corinthians 3. But here, now we begin to look at the seven manifestations of the Holy Ghost that are ours, and they come upon us as we meet him. The first is grace. Say grace. Grace. Say grace. Grace. Grace is the opposite of law. Those who meet the Holy Ghost and know him, those who yield their members to the Holy Spirit will always live under grace and never under law. Will always know release and never bondage. Will always know the grace of God. The grace of God means liberty from guilt, liberty from condemnation, liberty from all that binds. If you're bound today, you have not known the Holy Ghost of grace. If you want to know grace, get to know the Holy Ghost. He is the spirit of grace. Grace is a personality. Grace is a person. His name is the Holy Ghost. Grace is the person of Jesus. Grace is the person of the Father. For all Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are gracious. Grace represents who the God of heaven is. And the Holy Ghost being God himself is the spirit of grace. When the Holy Ghost walks in my life, grace will be as natural to me to live in live by as the very air I breathe. You see, learn this. Look at me, please. One thing I'll ever be grateful to Miss Schuman in helping me grasp. And the fact is, don't do it, let God do it. That's the hardest lesson to learn, Lois. The hardest thing you can learn is, let go. So hard let go because by nature we want to hang on so we can do it and prove to God I can. You know what I'm talking about? I'm going to get my healing because I'm going to make sure I have enough faith to get it. How many times you've seen people with so much faith who who died before their time because they were doing it saying, "I will do it. I believe I believe I believe I I believe." Now, I'm going to make something here. I'm going to say something here. May shock you. God is shaking my theology. Teachings I gave 3 years ago, I can't teach anymore because God is shaking me. He's shaking my theology. I don't know what else to say. A year ago, choir, we began holding healing crusades all over America. And when those crusades uh began, I went to Bible school all over again. I've never been to a physical Bible school, but I went to the best Bible school in the world called the Holy Ghost Bible School. These crusades are another Bible school. I've always taught you have to believe to get healed. You have to have faith. I've had people now in those crusades, and I can't even talk about it. I can't even talk about it because it totally confuses me. I said, "Did you believe?" No. Did you expect it? No. I had one guy tell me, "I don't know why God has healed me. I'm an atheist." Totally healed. Totally healed. Legs, the pain was gone. He could walk again. And he said, "I don't I still don't believe." God, I said, "Now, hold it." I have taught all those years, and you've just blew my theology to smithereen. I have taught you have to believe. Build build build. Me me I. And this boy gets it when this precious lady over here who's believed for 20 years is still sick. Figure that out. Figure that out. Figure that out. There's only one answer. The sovereignty of God. ONE ANSWER. THE MERCY OF THE LORD JESUS. WHY WOULD HE HEAL THAT MAN? IF I WAS GOD, I WOULD not bother with him. Cuz I'm not God. CUZ GRACE IS INVOLVED. WHAT IS GRACE? [screaming] GRACE MEANS I WILL DO it when you spit in my face. I WILL DO IT WHEN YOU DON'T EVEN BELIEVE I'm there. I WILL DO IT BECAUSE I AM GOOD, NOT YOU ARE GOOD. THAT'S GRACE. >> ((applause)) >> WE LIVE IN SUCH CONDEMNATION BECAUSE WE HAVE NOT SEEN HIS GRACIOUSNESS. We sin and we feel so guilty. WHAT WHILE WE SIN, HE SAYS, I FORGIVE. If we only can see the heart of God, we'll never FEEL GUILTY AGAIN. YET, when you see his heart, you love him so much you won't go sin again. The reason we sin again because we have not known his love yet. You see, people, please hear this. PLEASE HEAR THIS. PLEASE HEAR THIS. WHEN I SEE his heart, I'll never sin against him again. His heart is gracious. When I see him, literally so forgiving, so gracious, so merciful. My Lord, sometimes he's anointed me when I was a stinker. Never forget the lesson I learned years ago. And yet, I'm still it seems learning it. I'm still learning it. Kathryn passed away in '76. In '77, I was invited to hold her memorial service for a year after she died. They wanted to remember her. Maggie Hartner, who still runs the convention, minister said to me, I came in to see her. I said, uh I'm going to go pray. She said something that shook me so bad. She said, don't you now go pray, get all wrapped up in your needs. God won't use you. Just go and take a nap. I thought that's the most unspiritual thing I've ever heard. What I thought. She said, Kathryn used to always say, you get so wrapped up in prayer God can't use you. Just go relax. I thought that is so unspiritual. I'm going to pray anyways. And I did. I made sure I did cuz I thought if I don't pray, nothing's going to happen. You You You listen to this cuz this is a key here. I prayed 5 hours, boys. And I begged and I cried and I agonized. And I got to the service. When I saw the crowd, I froze. Jimmy now says, he says, we're going to we're going to sing Jesus, there's something about that name. And when we sing it, you you just walk out. I said, okay. The choir sang. Then they began singing Jesus. Benny was still back there. Jimmy sang, Jesus, looking. Jesus. Jesus. He was looking. No Benny. Then he says, we're going to sing it one more time and Benny Hinn is going to walk on. Jesus. I still didn't come. I was frozen with fear. One of the ushers now comes and says, he's waiting for you. I said, I know. He practically pushed me out of the thing. And I come on now, the spotlights were on, my shoes were shining, my stupid white socks, whole thing. And I come on and he looks at me and says, where have you been? I take the mic and I couldn't talk. I couldn't move. My throat was frozen. The choir quits now. They sang Jesus Jesus the song five six times by now. Now I'm And you know what happens when you're you're you're afraid? You quit thinking. So I thought, dear God, the best thing I can do is sing Jesus again. Only way out of this. I tried. By this time the musicians had switched keys. They got tired of playing the same thing. I wanted to get back to singing Jesus something about that name and I couldn't get back to it. Cuz they were playing some crazy song and I'm trying to think of the melody and I couldn't get it. I tried to sing now and I was too high. The poor choir tried to follow me and could not. The choir just stood there because they've been tired from singing the thing six times. So I sang by myself and had to quit halfway because I couldn't carry the tune any farther cuz I was dying there trying to breathe. Anybody ever try to sing high and you couldn't do it halfway? On kings and kingdoms, I was dead. And I thought, my God, I'm going to I'm going to go home. I'm going to run. I'm I'm going to die. I don't want to go through this thing. And I thought, God, I prayed, that's not fair. I prayed five long hours and you should have anointed me. You see, I thought I did it. Why is it not coming? The Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, if you want to do it on your own, go ahead. But if you want me to do it, quit trying. By this time I began to cry and sob and I thought that, you know, in frustration sometimes you just give up. And with the second I gave up, I felt the thing go from my head to my toes. And I became like a new man. Now, every tune was just perfect. Brother, the anointing keeps you in the right key. Anytime I'm out of key, you know I'm not anointed. >> [laughter] >> And now I thought, this is the It doesn't make sense. I went to the hotel puzzled. I thought, Lord, I can't believe this. I prayed and begged and prayed and nothing happened. Then I just gave up and you anointed me. It's been many years now. I've learned one lesson. I'm still learning it. The times you pray, YOU PRAY, YOU PRAY, YOU PRAY and nothing happens. There's times you haven't got time to pray and everything happens. Figure the thing out, you can't. It's called the grace of God. Are you catching on this thing? Now you say, you mean you don't pray? Of course I pray. But don't pray you so you can preach. Pray you so you can breathe and stay alive. You see, here's the problem there, Bill. If we pray BECAUSE WE HAVE A SERVICE, THAT'S LAW. There's no relationship. I'm going to talk to you because I need you. That's law. God says, I won't show up. But Lord, I talked to you because I love you. He always shows up. I'm ready in season and out of season. Are you catching this? When the Holy Spirit is there, it's so simple. Ezekiel 36, please. He said, I will put my spirit within you. And when he is there, I will cause you I will cause you to walk in my ways. What must I do? I must quit trying and let the Holy Ghost cause me to do it. Oh, dear God, communicate this to the people. You can do it better than I can. Fred, is that getting through to them? People, is it getting through to you? Is it making sense to you? I'm not talking to a wall, am I here? You see, we try to do it on our own and we fail. Quit trying on your own because you will fail again and guilt will take hold of you and then you are bound behind bars. Get free FROM YOUR BONDAGE. FRED, read verse 27 for us. And I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in my statutes. >> Yes. >> And you shall keep my judgments >> Yes. >> and do them. Watch this. Watch this. You should underline that that verse, it's glorious. I will put my spirit within you. This is verse 27 of Ezekiel 36. And I will cause you. How many of you love to see God make you do it? Cause you to do it without you begging and trying and falling on your face. I will cause you to do it. I will cause you to walk in my statutes. And what else, Fred? You shall keep my judgments >> You shall keep How many of you would love to just keep the law without trying to keep the law? How many of you ever felt the Lord a million miles away from you? Let me show you how he can get very close to you. Look at Ezekiel 39, verse 29. The last verse of Ezekiel 39. Wait, Fred, let them all get there. Ezekiel 39 is not too far from Ezekiel 36. It shouldn't take you forever to get there. Okay, Ezekiel 39, verse 29, which I think is the is the last verse. Look what he says there. Go ahead, Freddy. Neither will I hide my face anymore from them. For I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel. He says, when the Holy Ghost is there, God won't hide anymore. How many of you want God to get very close? Just get the Holy Ghost inside of you. Reread that verse. Reread that verse. Underline it in your Bibles. Look at it thoroughly. Neither will I hide my face anymore from them. >> Neither will I hide my face anymore from you. For why? For I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel. >> When the Holy Ghost is poured, God shows up. So, saints, what am what am I saying? I'm saying, quit saying, oh God, please let me feel your touch. Oh God, where are you?" Instead, say, "Holy Spirit, come upon me." Holy Spirit, breathe on me. Holy Spirit, come and touch me. And you do, and the Father will show up right there with him. Isn't that fantastic? And then you will begin to pray not because you are dying, but because he stirred you to pray. How simple, isn't it? How simple, Jim? Most folks miss it. So simple. The Holy Spirit. He is the key. That's fabulous. He is the Spirit of grace. Number two, he is the Spirit of life. We're back now to the seven manifestations of the Spirit of God. Who is he? The minute he comes on you, there'll be grace. You can preach a whole sermon on just grace. Number two, he is the Spirit of life. Say life. Life is the absence of death. Isn't it? Life is the absence of death. Wherever you find Satan, you'll find death. Wherever you find the Holy Ghost, you'll find life. What is death? People now may not even I want you all to hear this. Death, spiritually, is often misunderstood. What is death? Death is separation from God. Death does not mean physically dead in a grave. Spiritually speaking, it is separation from God Almighty, where God is no nowhere near you. His presence does not stir you. Saints, please hear this. The presence of condemnation speaks clearly that God is there. I want I want to say this clearly, please. There are folks who are bound, who are alive. You can be bound and alive. Frankly, dead people are not bound. Because when you die, bondage is gone. You can be bound by some bondage in your life and be alive. If you recognize guilt, there's life, there's conviction. There's stirring. Are you listening? But when God is absent, you no longer feel guilty. When you don't pray, you don't care about it. When you sin, it doesn't matter anymore. Are you hearing me? That's death. At least with guilt, the boy still he he he he might not he he doesn't have the grace of God, but at least he's alive. There's a lot of Christians who are alive and guilty. But they're alive. But when you lose conviction, when you sin, it doesn't bug you anymore. You've died. That's death. The absence of death is the presence of life. When the Holy Ghost walks IN, HE'LL BRING LIFE with him. If he can turn the darkness OF EARTH INTO LIGHT, how much more can he turn my darkness into light? Thirdly, he is the Spirit of adoption. Spirit of life, by the way, you'll find in in Genesis 1:2 and many more scriptures. The adoption, Romans 8:15. He is the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, "Abba Father." What does it mean now to be filled with the Holy Ghost of adoption? What does it mean to be filled with the Holy Ghost of adoption? Look at me, please, and I'll tell you. ANY MAN who cannot say, "Abba Father," has never known the Holy Ghost of adoption. If the Holy Ghost is in you, it will be so natural for you to say, "Father," and feel so close. Do you know why many people cannot approach God without shame? You know, many many Christians pray, and they're always ashamed. "Forgive me. I'm guilty. Forgive me. I've sinned. Forgive me." There's no adoption. Only slaves beg. Children ask. If you beg, you're a slave. If you ask, you're a child. Oh, I hope that's getting through to some of you. Ask, you shall receive, not beg. Beggars are slaves. But those who ask are children of the heavenly God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Say, "Hallelujah." When the Holy Ghost comes in, you're able to say, "Father in heaven." If you can't say, "Father," many of us Christians don't know this, but the lack of the presence of the Father is because we lack the Holy Ghost of adoption. Number four, he is the Spirit of holiness. Say holiness. Romans 1:4, he is the Spirit of holiness. He's the Holy Spirit. The presence of holiness means the absence of sin. When the Spirit of holiness is in my life, I no longer fight to stay clean. DON'T FIGHT WITH SIN. IT SHALL NOT dominate me. It cannot touch me. IT CANNOT TOUCH ME. WHY? THE SPIRIT OF holiness is in control of my life. I think holy. I think holy. I eat holy. I SLEEP HOLY. I >> [screaming] >> GET UP HOLY. SIN DON'T CROSS MY mind no more. How many love to live like that? The Holy Ghost comes in and gives you that naturally. You You don't push for it, beg for it, pull for it, cry for it. It is as natural to you as breathing. If you're fighting sin, it's because you lack the Holy Ghost of holiness. All you got to do is say, "Holy Spirit, take over," and all those things will begin popping out of you. Number five, he is the Spirit of supplication. Zechariah 12:10. Oh Lord, I want to pray, but I can't. I'd love to intercede for my friends, my family, I can't. YOU NEVER WILL. WHEN THE HOLY GHOST COMES IN, HE will cause you to intercede. It will be as natural for you to cry out and bring the need before God as it would be to breathe into. He is the Spirit of supplication. John 16:13, number six, he is the Spirit of truth. Truth is the absence of error. When the Holy Ghost is there, you'll never have to be confused anymore. Oh God, what Who's right? I don't understand this. THERE'LL BE CLARITY. YE SHALL RECEIVE POWER. YE shall receive power. Ye shall receive power. His truth will come on you. 1 Peter 4:14, he is the Spirit of glory. He is the Spirit of glory. He is the Spirit of glory. Glory. Say glory. Glory is the presence of God, and the absence of glory is the presence of demons. When you know the glory of God, you'll not know any bondage, oppression, possession, depression. Demons cannot cannot approach the glory of God. Please hear this. When the glory of God is on you, demons flee. How many of you want Look at me. Hello. How many want grace? How many want to be free from legalism? How many of you want life? How many want holiness? So >> [snorts] >> so so simple, isn't it? And all you have to do is yield your members to the Holy Ghost. Yield to the Spirit. ((music playing)) Now, the big question, the greatest question, the most difficult question, how do I yield? How do I yield? How many like like to know how you yield? Come on, let me see. How many of you want to want to yield? I want you all to stand. I'm going to show you. Yield. That's all it said. Yield. I am so glad today I didn't bring another teaching. Are you? I was going to bring a rah rah rah rah rah, go go go go. I've done that for the last 6 7 weeks. I would like to tell you this, your raw raw raw is empty without this. Ye shall receive power. I'm after the power. And that power will come on you in greater ways all the time it will increase and increase and increase. I'm not going to be satisfied with a little drop, a little rain, a little shower. I want more, more, more. I stood there Friday morning and I just said, "Lord, thank you for this lady's life. Thank you for allowing me to cross her path. Well, now through her life I've met the Holy Ghost. It's all I wanted to do." And my body began to sway like this. I thought, "Oh Lord, what's happening to me?" Why did God do it? I don't know. But maybe he planned that a higher dimension come my way. He who is faithful with little can be trusted with a little more. Now, how do we yield? Corrie ten Boom put it beautifully. She took a little glove one day in her church, I was there and I saw her do it. She took a glove and she said, "It's an empty glove, it's a dead glove." And she threw it and and and nothing. And she picked it up and she said, "This glove is your body. If this glove is dead, that's all God wants." She said, "Now I put my fingers through the And she put her hand in the glove, she said, "Now, that's what God wants to do." And now all you see is the glove. The glove is in the limelight. But behind the scenes is the Holy Ghost. She says, "What you need to do is take your glove and say, 'Fill it.' If my glove is controlled by me, I I I don't touch my glove. I'm the one." God says, "All right, you can have it." It's simple. Yet it's the hardest thing to do. Because, sir, when you die, there's a lot of pain involved in this thing. But that's the price. I've told people around the world, I said, "If you'll pay the price, God will use you and anoint you." And some thought the price was some big tremendous something thing A B C formula. I said, "The price is death." And most folks will look at you and say, "Huh? Death? I don't know how to die." Yeah. I know how to live. You got to quit knowing how to live and learn how to die. We've lived for so long and learned how to keep ourselves alive. Everyone here knows exactly how to stay alive. You'll do everything to stay alive. Your little finger hurts, man, everything goes towards that little finger to keep it alive. You're so educated in the matters of staying alive. Won't you learn now how to die? Say, "How?" It's what I'm trying to get here. I'm trying to show you how. But I'll tell you what, do it the way I did it. I looked up one day, I said, "Holy Spirit, lead me to the cross and crucify my flesh. I can't pray. I can't do a thing on my own. I can't die. Someone needs to nail me. I can't nail myself. ((music playing)) Holy Spirit, come. Crucify me. Help me die. Lead me to the cross." And guess what? He did it. And when you die, it's so easy ((music playing)) to walk into the anointing. Don't have to work it, push it, beg for it. You just whisper it and it's there. How many understand what I just said? Even though you understand, yet there's something there you can't quite see. You know why? Living people will never know what it's like to die. Once you die, you'll understand. Only dead folks understand what death is. Living folks don't. So, Benny Hinn, what do I do to What do I do today? I'm going to ask that God would do for you what he did ((music playing)) for me. I'm going to ask God to lead you to the cross. Would you like that? And then when that happens, he's going to take that body that is dead now and make it into a vessel of honor and anoint it with great power. You'll be more alive than you've ever been before. Holy Spirit, I call on your name. Holy Spirit, I lift my heart and I lift my voice before you. And I pray for these people who are people you have entrusted me with. This is the church you birthed. This is the people you have drawn ((music playing)) into this assembly of believers. And you did not draw them here so they can sit there and say, "I heard a good message." You've brought them to this house so they can follow in the footsteps of the master, Jesus. Jesus. So, ladies and gentlemen, no one can say master and mean it until he's dead. Because when Jesus is master, then you are no longer your own. These are the last days. ((music playing)) If you are a Christian, you must stay alert.
