What would guarantee your prayers are answered? I have a a a very important message for you. And first we're going to pray and believe the Lord today to really touch our hearts, all of us. Let's just pray. Wonderful Jesus, I thank you, Lord, for what you're about to do. To you belongs all the glory, all the honor, all the majesty and praise. And Lord, I pray today that you will minister your word to your people and heal your people, precious, precious Jesus. Touch them, Lord, today. And yes, Lord, we will give you the praise and all the majesty and all the glory and honor. And God's wonderful people said, "Amen." And amen. I'd like you to take your Bible to Matthew chapter 21. Please, if you'll go with me to Matthew 21. And I'd like to read with you a very important scripture from Matthew 21 because I truly believe the Lord today is going to do some precious things in all of our lives. Matthew 21 and verse 21. Jesus answered and said unto them, verily I say unto you, if you have faith and doubt not, you shall not only do this thing which is done to the fig tree, but also if you shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, it shall be done. And all things whatsoever you shall ask in prayer believing ye shall receive. I want to repeat verse 22. All things. All things. Not just some, not most. All things. Whatsoever you shall ask in prayer believing you shall receive. Now the relationship with the Lord is the key. The oneness with the Lord is the key. And that oneness with the Lord remains strong through his word in us and us in him. People ask me often, "What have you learned after 50 years of ministry?" And here's what I answer. I've learned that the gifts will not keep you. Signs and wonders will not keep you. Only the word of God will keep you. Only the word of life will keep you. Scriptures, the holy scripture must fill our life. Because you see, we have to understand that in Philippians 2, Paul calls the word of God the word of life. And in first John chapter 1, John says, "That which we we have heard and that which we have seen, our hands have handled. The word of life." Jesus is the word of life. And I want to emphasize something before I go on. There is no definition of life in the natural because life is a person. His name is Jesus. So when they say plant life, there's no such thing. It's a living plant, but there's no life in it. Or they say animal life, there's no such thing. It's a living animal. There's no life in that animal. Or they say human life, there's no such thing as human life. It's a living man or a living woman. Because life is a person. His name is Jesus. In him is life. The Bible says, and he said, "I am the way. I am the truth. I am the life." And then he also promised, "I am come that they might have life and have it more abundantly." Meaning the church, you and I, as God's people. Now, please understand that the whole world is going in reverse. They go from life to death. They go from strength to weakness. They go from health to sickness. But the moment we come to the Lord Jesus, the moment we are saved and born again and receive his life in us, we begin to go forward. Not in in reverse anymore. We begin to go forward. We go from death to life. We go from sickness to health. We go from darkness to light. We go from weakness to strength. So, it's about knowing the Lord. It's about knowing the Lord. And his word is what keeps us alive as believers. The Bible is the fuel of the Christian life. It's the power of the Christian life. Without the word of God, we die. That's why it says, "Be not conformed to this world. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind." How does that happen? Through scripture. Through scripture. So, it's possible to go backwards and lose the life we've received. Because it says, "Be not conformed to this world. Don't go back again. be transformed by the renewing of your mind. So it's important to understand that oneness with Jesus depends on his word being in us. And he said to us, if my word abides in you, you shall ask and it shall be done unto you. That's in John. So this verse here, this wonderful promise of Matthew 21:22, all things whatsoever you shall ask in prayer is connected to being in Christ, his word in us, because that's when prayer is answered. He said, then you'll receive. So what an amazing promise here. Yeah, some say it sounds too good to be true, but it is true. All things whatsoever you shall ask in prayer. So, um we have to understand that God has given us amazing promises in his word if we abide in him. If we abide in him. So, I'm going to ask you a question today. What mountain are you facing? Are you facing uh sickness? Are you facing some trouble? Are you facing some bondage? Are you facing some terrible situation in your life? The Lord told us exactly what to do. Because he said, "Verily, I say unto you, if you have faith and doubt not, you'll you'll say to this to this mountain, be thou removed. All things whatsoever you ask in prayer, believing, you'll receive." So whatever you need, whatever you need is at your fingertips. The power that will solve every problem is at our fingertips. We call upon the Lord. But remember what I said, it's oneness with Jesus that will make it happen. So uh it's not the will of God uh that that we be defeated. It's not the will of God that uh we have trouble mentally or emotionally or spiritually and so on. But uh the reason people uh have trouble is because um sadly uh the prayer has has become the last resort. They only pray in emergencies. They they they don't have fellowship with God. They only call on him when there's a problem. And that is the problem. When you call on the Lord only when you have a problem, that is a problem. We have to call upon him all the time. It's a fellowship. It's a fellowship. It's communion. It's a love relationship that is birthed by his word. You know, our prayer list is very short. Our needs, if you put them on a list of paper, are very short. We can we can list our prayer list and repeat that prayer quite quickly. Lord, bless my family, bless my finance, bless my my children, and so on and so forth. But when you read the Bible, God gives you the prayer to pray because he will will ignite that prayer in you. there there will be a desire placed within you by the Holy Spirit, a a longing, a heavenly longing through scripture that now becomes your cry. So rather than praying things that are natural, which I know we all have, and that's why it says, "Let your supplications be made known because God knows we all have problems." Okay? But when when we go to the Lord as a last resort, when we go to the Lord because there's an emergency, then there's no relationship with him. It the key is the relationship. So prayer must become a an essential part of our daily life. communion with the Lord an essential part of our daily life where our whole life becomes a succession of miracles. So today I'm going to pray for you. I'm going to ask God to touch you. I'm going to ask God to heal you. But I'm giving you something here that will stay with you because I want to see miracles in your life all the time. Not just today, all the time. My focus is on scripture. My focus is on the word of God, the word of life, on getting people born again, saved, transformed, living for Jesus all the time, all day long, every moment of the day. That's my purpose. Let's finish better than when we began. All of us, we are running a race. Let's win the race. Let's please the Lord. So when we stand before him on that day, he'll be pleased with us. We'll be accepted in his sight. This is the purpose for life. That we be pleasing unto him. Pleasing unto him. I've said it many times. We were not born into this world to know our parents. We were not born into this world to know our brothers and sisters or our friends. We were born into this world to meet the Lord and know the Lord. That's the whole purpose for living. That's the whole purpose for coming into this world to meet Jesus. He is the reason for living and he gives us life, his life. Only those who know him know his life. So, when it comes to fellowship with the Lord, now here are some some keys I'm going to give you that I think will help you. In Matthew chapter 6 verse 5 and six, uh the Lord said, "Go into your closet. You cannot have fellowship with God with people around you. You cannot have divine communion and human communion at the same time. You must be alone. So when you look at scripture, you said, you know, you learn this over over time. I mean, I've been I've walked with God now since 1972. February 14, 1972 is when when I met the Lord. And what a glorious day that was. You know what I said on that day? I said, "Oh, how I wished someone had told me about Jesus earlier in my life." I was I was I was 19 years old when when when someone walked up to me named Bob Tedman in Canada in school and told me, "Jesus loves you, Benny." And you know, it just was such a precious precious experience. And the first thing after I got saved, I said, "Oh, I wish someone had told me that." And here I am from Israel, you know. I w I grew up in the Holy Land. Imagine that. I I went to Catholic schools and I went to to the Greek Orthodox church. I was an ultra boy in the in the in the church. And I went to to mass every single day. We had to go to mass in in the Catholic school. But nobody mentioned, "Do you know Jesus?" That Jesus loves you. But a man in can a young man in Canada at school told me that. And you know, I've learned a lot since I met the Lord. And one thing I learned is when you're alone with him, you honor him. We honor the Lord. Precious people watching everywhere when we're alone with him. And that's why the Lord said in Matthew 6:5, "And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues, in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward. But thou, when thou pressed, enter into thy closet. When thou shut thy door, pray to thy father which is in secret, and thy father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." So here you know we must be alone now. Why? Because entering into the presence of God who is worthy of absolute honor and reverence is so important and and we're we're that's when we recognize his presence. Being alone saying Lord I recognize your presence. I'm not with someone else. Lord, Lord, uh, I'm I'm I'm letting you know you're my delight. Cuz you're not going to be alone with someone you're not going to delight in. Why be alone with someone you don't want to be with? When you're alone with God, you're telling the Lord, "You are my delight, Lord. That's why I'm alone with you. You're my delight." And and we recognize his presence. That's the key. It's about relationship, fellowship. Prayer becomes uh difficult when there's people all all around. You cannot have divine communion and human communion at the same time. Now, another thing I have learned is worship. Worship is key. If you want God to touch your life, not only be alone with him, but worship. You cannot worship in public if you don't worship in private. It's impossible. You know, people sing in church. They sing. They they they most places they don't worship. They just sing and they're quite noisy. It's very noisy because they sing. Worship is born in private worship because only those who worship privately know how to worship publicly. That's a fact. It's a fact. So it's very important because Jesus said to the woman in John 4 that the father seeks those who worship in spirit and in truth. And that only happens in private uh worship because you then you cannot enter into his gates with thanksgiving into his court with praise because it's not real. It's not real. Today a lot of churches you go to they're just noisy. Noisy. It gives you headache. Frankly, it gives me headache. But worship, oh, real worship. So beautiful. And the and the man leading up there who the lady leading up there leading. The reason the presence of God comes sometimes when somebody is leading is because they've been with the Lord in private. Please listen to this. If you ever stand in church and someone is leading in worship, and by the way, there's no such thing as leading in worship. I'm going to shock some of you. There's no such thing as worship leaders. No, no, no. The individual is a worshipper himself and people just join in basically. Bas that's about it. There's no nobody can lead in worship. We just worship. We We just worship. The individual on the platform is worshiping Jesus and he's forgetting that the crowd is out there and then the crowd joins him, that's what happens. But you see, when when when you stand in a in a in a service and and someone supposedly is leading in worship and you're just tired and you you get tired and and you want to sit down and it gets long and exhausting and all this, it's because that man up there has not ever really worshiped the Lord privately. For to him or her, it's a job. It becomes quite noisy and tiring to listen to. I'm sorry. You know what? I'm 73 and I've lost my filter. I just say it like it is. I say it just like it is. I'm 73 years old. And that's why I don't care what people think about me anymore because I believe it's it's it's time to tell people the truth. If you're not a worshipper, you can't wor you can't uh bring people into God's God's presence if you don't know how to get there yourself. If you know the way, you can lead people in the way. So worship is a key. Fellowship produces worship. It's so simple, you know. You get in the you get in the word of God. You open your Bible. You get quiet before the Lord and he touches your heart. It says, "Wait upon the Lord." He touches your heart. And next thing you know, fellowship begins. And after fellowship begins, worship begins. And then like you're you're in the presence of the Lord. It's so precious. Tomorrow, Pastor Benny continues this life-changing message. Be sure to tune in. You won't want to miss it. What a time to become a partner with Benny Hinn Ministries.
