I just did a Chris V. >> This was a big >> We have an ongoing joke behind the scenes cuz Chris always announces things maybe like two months before they happen. >> Yes. He has announced Mandarin so many times. We have >> I do it too. I do it too. So I'm guilty. I can't say anything. I'm very similar to Chris in a lot of ways. Me, >> too. I'm going to bring that tradition to Bethl soon next year. >> I don't think I would want to do a New Year's party at church. >> It's so fun though. [laughter] It's a huge bad coming from a pastor. >> Yes, Steve. >> Like I don't think I want to do that. >> You [laughter] guys aren't too greenos. You >> I like I like Christmas Eve services. I just spit. >> Oh, you did a little bit. Flew a little bit. [laughter] It's snow. >> Just trying to partner with the snow here. >> No, but it's a big deal. And people all come dressed up for church and we do like >> I have no idea. praise songs in worship. It's very party like [snorts] Yes. We We're gonna bring it to Beth at some point. >> I won't be there. [laughter] >> But Steve won't come. >> I I like I I love people. >> Yes. >> But I I love I love being just with my family and people close to me on those type of days. But we got a big football game on that day though. So Ruth's a little upset with me cuz I'm a diehard Ohio State Buckeye fan. They're playing in the college football playoff. >> American football. >> American football. Yes. >> And she's annoyed that part of our New Year's Eve is going to be spent watching the football game. >> See, if we had a service, she would have to forgive you. >> But I'm making up for it. I'm making up for it. But we're so excited to see you guys. >> I'm so excited to see you. >> We would love to give shoutouts from where you're turn tuning in from. So, please put in Brazilian right there. Right there. She's got it. So, all their Brazilians, you can confirm if there's actually a New Year Eve. Yes. Service. Start writing. Make sure that you're not a liar. >> New year service comes to >> Beth. [laughter] Don't just believe everything you hear, guys. Remember, you always you weigh every word. >> Yes. And if you are down for a Bethl service for New Years, please start a movement online to help me convince Steve that [laughter] that we need. >> I'm I'm pumped for you guys to do it. You guys go nuts. I'm not going to be there. [laughter] >> No one's going to be there. Production's not going to work. >> Unless Bill and Chris force me to be there, then I'll go. But I'll just be I'll just be a grumpy Grinch. >> I bet Chris would be down. You know, Chris would want to party. >> Grinch would carry on into the new year. So, it would be >> that would be a big thing. We got people tuning in from Nigeria. That's amazing. Washington State, Poland, Germany, Texas, Illinois, >> Oregon. You're so far away. You should come down. Come down. Uh, so good to see you guys. San Jose. Amazing. >> Oh, see this guy was in my going off New Year's Eve last year. You went to that last year. There you go. >> There you go. >> Uh Cindy said, "Yes, we did that in Texas. You don't come until later." And you can watch Ohio State football and Jesus all the time. Steve, come on. That's >> There you go. [laughter] And there you go. >> David's like, "Steve, give up the football game." I'm sorry. Football's an idol in my life. [laughter] >> Oh my gosh, Steve. Don't say it. >> I'm joking. It's a joke. Sorry. It is a joke. Some people don't get myself has no filters. >> I don't have a a filter at all. is not here today [laughter] and I go I go with it, you know, >> but I have very small filter. >> It's going to be a good day though. We got Brian, Jen, and Leah. So, the whole family affair there >> coming together >> doing worship and we got Richard Gordon bringing the word. Richie is one of my dear friends. Super excited. All the Brazilians would probably know he's the crazy dread lock looking guy. >> Jesus glory. >> Glory. I almost guarantee he'll talk about glory. That's my prediction. His message is going to be something about glory. It'll be great. >> We're going to get slightly drunk in the Holy Spirit. [laughter] Pray for production cuz he might run over just a little bit. >> I say there's a 98% chance. >> 99.5% [laughter] chance >> that he's going to run a little bit over, but it's going to be wild. >> It's going to be wild. It's going to be awesome. So, we're so excited. But go ahead and put in some prayer requests. We would love Yes. >> um to be able to pray for you, partner with you for breakthrough. Already see Nadia coming in. So, please uh pray for a miracle for the new Year's Eve for a financial miracle. Amen. Yes, we'll be praying for that. But if you need financial miracles, miracles with relationships, reconciliations, or just even within your body, please put in the chat. We want to pray for you. And then just a reminder at the end of every service that we're streaming. We have ministry teams uh that are available to partner with you, minister with you. And then also a team that if you want to surrender your life to Jesus and uh give your life to him, be born again, we have a team to be able to walk you through that as well. >> They want to pray for you. They will give you a word for New Year's. Tell them I told you that. >> Come on. >> Yes. >> All right. We're just looking for some uh from prayer requests. So, go ahead and put in there. >> Oh, yes. Uh >> prayer for teeth and health. >> Say yes. >> Um Pastor Josie Bill. I don't know what that >> Yes. And then Greg, you're he's saying pain related to UTI. Also praying for that in Jesus name. >> Okay. Financial. >> I also see many Brazilian flags. So, I'm praying for y'all. >> Okay. Here we go. >> Love you all. you are believing for a miracle, >> uh, go ahead and hold out your hands like you're about to receive a gift. If you need a physical miracle in your body, go ahead and lay hands on whatever area of your body that needs a miracle. If it's your whole body, you can just put it on your head and we'll just believe for it to come all down. But we want to pray for you. >> Yeah. You can also stand for someone like if someone in your family needs healing or breakthrough, >> stand for them. Put your hand and >> you can even stand up unless you're driving. Don't stand up. >> Don't stand up. Unless you got a moon roof, then you can or convertible, then you can stand up and [laughter] freeway. Um, >> if you have a Tesla, you can raise both hands. [laughter] >> Tesla self-driving. That's right. Yes. >> And you could probably stream it, right? You could probably stream the service as you're driving. >> Yes. [laughter] >> But go ahead, hold out your hands. We're going to pray. We got uh pray for my sister-in-law to be cured >> uh from something. Whatever that is. Yes. We're going to be leaving canceled surgery. We had someone uh a few Sundays ago that their teeth turned gold like turned into gold just a couple Sundays ago. So healing for that. >> We're believing for a full gold grill in your whole face. [laughter] >> Yes, I'm joking. That would be the one miracle that I would be so annoyed at the Lord with. [laughter] >> I'd be like any gold. Lord, I'm all for miracles, but don't give me grills. Don't give me bad. Anyway, [snorts] back to seriousness. We're going to be serious here. Very serious. >> Very serious. So go ahead and hold out your hands. We're going to pray. >> Father, I thank you right now for all chronic pain leaving. >> God, we command all issues with teeth, a lot of conditions with teeth right now. Father, I thank you for peace coming into their mouth right now. We command all those issues to go. No more pain. No, if there's a root canal, whatever the issue is, we just command a reversal right now. We command all pain to leave. We release full mobility. God, we just speak blessing in this season, too. God, we thank you for financial miracles coming on people. God, I thank you in the next uh two weeks, some people even the next two days for financial miracles coming through. God, I thank you for relationships being restored and reconciled right now. And we just release grace. >> Yes. >> Thank you, God. >> Yeah. I saw backs being aligned. If you joined this call today and if you I see like a like almost like a crooked uh back. I see the Lord lining your back back pain going away. And I also saw someone asking for prayer for cancer. We just command all cancers to leave right now in Jesus' name. We cancel that word um >> yeah the word of death over your life and just um we cancel that in Jesus name and we declare life in Jesus' name over your body all cancer to leave this a cancer-free zone in Jesus name. >> Thank you Jesus. Yeah. Uh >> Joy saying I feel heat of the Lord all over my head right now. Thank you God. We just say more to that God. We thank you for wrist being healed right now. And God, I thank you for fresh touches of the Lord right now. >> Wow. >> And we just release grace in Jesus name. Thank you, Father. [laughter] >> Amen. >> Amen. >> Yes. We pray for the joy of the Holy Spirit today as you join us for church. It's going to be awesome. >> And just want to we just want to encourage you start testing out your body. If you notice any change in your body, go ahead and put it in the chat. let us know what's happening and let other people know that are watching what God's doing. It helps awaken people to see, oh, what is Jes Jesus is doing something right now and then just keep testing out your body throughout the service and then we'll check back with you at the end of the service. We're so thankful and so glad you guys you're with us today. It's going to be a fun day. >> It's fun day. >> We love you and we will see you soon. >> See you soon. Gloria, of course. There you go. Good morning. Great to see you. Would you go ahead and stand as we get ready to worship the Lord with our whole heart online family? Great to have you with us as well. I hope your Christmas has been amazing and wonderful. We put in a new lake while you guys were away uh down there. Used to be the ball field, Bethl Lake. We're quiet. Yeah. Don't bring your kayaks at I had to tell Gabe to not have his family bring his kayaks down there. It's It's so good to be with you in the house of the Lord. Already this morning, we just had a wonderful first service. I I imagine over at Twin View, they're having an amazing time as well and just gathering together again to just celebrate the goodness of God. I want to read to you a scripture from Genesis chapter 1 just talking about how the Lord um has given us the seasons. And God said, "Let there be light in the vault of the sky to separate the day and the night and to let them serve as signs to mark sacred times and the days and the years." So, it's in the Lord's heart to actually have us mark the years as we turn from 2025 to 2026. Uh, he put, you know, the moon and the stars and the sun there so that we ((music playing)) would kind of be aware when he was, you know, when that there was a change in the season, when it was a some time for something new. And so, as we lean into 2026, let's just look with anticipation. Let's let faith arise even today for this new year that's coming. And as you guys know, we're going to have a fast. We usually start the year with a fast. That'll be starting not this Sunday but next Sunday or so. Encourage you to pray into that. What could you lay aside so that you can create more space to spend in the in the presence of ((music playing)) the Lord as well. We'll be having prayer here every morning in this room at 7:30 to 8:30. Not this week, but then next week. So, let's turn our attention to the Lord. We're going to pray and then we'll greet each other and then move into worship. Set your affection on him, your faith on him. Lord Jesus, ((music playing)) King of King of everything, creator of everything. just thank you that um ((music playing)) you've not left us just to ourselves, but you have given us signs and seasons. You've caused us to look forward to the change in the seasons, ((music playing)) and we look with expectation and faith. We know you're on a mission to save ((music playing)) the world. Do you hear that everybody? Jesus is on a mission to save the ((music playing)) world. And we join you in that mission. Just ask that today again, we would be equipped, thoroughly equipped to be about the father's business just like Jesus was. and that this morning grace would abound. That your joy over us as a people would ((music playing)) be contagious. You know the Lord joys over you. That his joy over you would be contagious. And that you again would know the depth and the breadth of his love in Jesus name. Amen. Some amazing people are worshiping with you. Would you take a minute just to say hello to them? Greet them. Wish them a happy new year. If you want to worship up front, feel free to come on up front. >> We're going to have a great time in the Lord's presence. Oh, you >> ((music playing)) >> Christ is ((music playing)) my firm [singing] foundation. The rock on ((music playing)) which I stand and everything [singing] around is shaking. Oh, I've [singing] never been more glad. I put my [music and singing] faith in Jesus cuz he's never let me down. faithful through [music and singing] generations. So why would he fail now? He won't. Thank ((music playing)) you, Lord. He won't. And I've still got joy [singing and music] in chaos. I've got peace [singing] that won't make. And I won't ((music playing)) be [singing] going under. I'm not held by my own strength. I've built my life on ((music playing)) Jesus and he's never [singing] let me down. Faithful ((music playing)) through generations. [singing] So ((music playing)) why would he feel [singing] now? He won't. Yes. Thank you, Lord. ((music playing)) He won't. He won't [music and singing] fail. He ((music playing)) won't fail. Rains came with blew, ((music playing)) but my house was built on you. I'm safe [music and singing] with you. I'm going to make it [music and singing] through. All the rain came with ((music playing)) love. I'm standing strong on you. I'm safe [music and singing] with you. I'm going to make it through. ((music playing)) Oh, I'm going to make it through cuz I'm ((music playing)) standing strong on you. Oh, [singing] and I'm going to make it through cuz ((music playing)) I built my life on you. Cuz Christ is my firm foundation. Oh, ((music playing)) he's the rock on [singing] which I stay when everything around is ((music playing)) shen. Oh, I've never been ((music playing)) more glad that I put my faith [singing] in Jesus. ((music playing)) He's never let me down. He's faithful ((music playing)) through generations. Oh, so why would he fail [music and singing] now? He won't faithful through the ages. He won't fail. Faithful through the ((music playing)) ages. [singing] He won't fail. He won't ((music playing)) fail. He wo time after time, ((music playing)) year after year, faithful through ((music playing)) it all. Thank you, Lord. Through the highs and the lows, ((music playing)) oh, you're faithful, Lord, with joy in the morning. Yeah, yeah, ((music playing)) yeah, yeah. Christ my firm found [singing] and I was a edge. I remember who I was. I was lost. ((music playing)) I was blind. I was running out of time. And sin separated. The breach was far too wide. From the far [music and singing] side of the chasm, you held me in your sight. For you made a way across the great divide. Left behind heaven's [music and singing] throne to build it here inside. And there at ((music playing)) the cross you paid the debt I owed. Broke my chains, [music and singing] freed my soul. For the first time I had hope. [singing] Thank you Jesus ((music playing)) for the blood of blood. [singing] And thank you Jesus. It has [singing] washed ((music playing)) me white. And thank [singing] you Jesus. You have ((music playing)) saved my life. You brought me from the ((music playing)) darkness into glorious light. And you took my place, ((music playing)) laid inside my tomb of sin. And you were buried [music and singing] for three days. And then you walked right out again. And now ((music playing)) death has no sting. And life has no end. [singing and music] For I have been transformed by the blood [music and singing] of the lamb. And thank you ((music playing)) Jesus for the blood applied. [singing] And thank you Jesus ((music playing)) has washed [singing] me white. Thank you ((music playing)) Jesus. You have saved [singing] my life. You ((music playing)) brought me from [singing] the darkness into glorious ((music playing)) light. [singing] ((music playing)) And there is nothing stronger than the wonder ((music playing)) working power [singing] of the blood. >> ((music playing)) >> They call the sons [singing] and daughters. We are ransom ((music playing)) by a father [singing] through the blood. ((music playing)) The blood. There ((music playing)) is nothing [singing] stronger than the wonder working power of ((music playing)) the blood. ((music playing)) He calls the [singing] sons and daughters. We are ransom by our father ((music playing)) through the blood. >> ((music playing)) >> Thank you Jesus [singing] for the blood of ((music playing)) thank [singing] you Jesus you has washed me and thank you Jesus ((music playing)) you have [singing] saved my You brought me from the darkness ((music playing)) into [singing] glorious light. There to [music and singing] my heart was the blood of light and ((music playing)) gloryy [singing] to his name. Sing that again. And gloryy ((music playing)) to [singing] his name. ((music playing)) And gloryy [singing] to his name. ((music playing)) And there [singing] to my heart was the blood of [singing] the light and gloryy to ((music playing)) his [singing] name. >> ((music playing)) >> I am an instrument of exaltation. [singing] I ((music playing)) was born to lift your name [singing] above all this. You hear the [singing] melody ((music playing)) of all creation, but there's a soul [music and singing] of praise that only I can bring. And who ((music playing)) else is worthy? Who else is [singing] worthy? There is ((music playing)) no one, only [singing] you, Jesus. Who else ((music playing)) is worthy? Who else is worthy? There [music and singing] is no one, only you, Jesus. ((music playing)) You are the [singing] infinite God of the aes. ((music playing)) Still you chose to make my heart a dwell in place. His love is like mighty [music and singing] ocean. His love for me will [singing] never ((music playing)) stop. ((music playing)) Every day is the day of rest and every hour is happy hour. >> Yes, indeed. Several weeks ago, I shared this with you already, but we're going to pray into something. Uh, several weeks ago, I I uh ((music playing)) at the Christmas uh market uh Bethl Bazaar formally transitioned to Christmas market and I'm still trying to remember that. We had ((music playing)) a a wonderful time together and some somebody gave me a few gifts and I I had a a plastic bag and and uh one of the security said, "You want me to take that to the office?" I said that would that would be helpful. ((music playing)) So the plastic bag was in my hand and I handed them the plastic bag and a dime appeared in my hand. ((music playing)) A dime appeared. I I prefer million dollars but a dime is a good start. You know honestly the dime was more significant cuz a million dollars would have been measured by amount ((music playing)) and the dime measured by a word. I shared it that Sunday morning with our team and Lesie um Crannle was in the prayer meeting ((music playing)) and she said, "I heard the phrase turn on a dime." Turn. Did anyone have in the last few weeks a situation that seemed impossible that turned on a dime? Anybody have that happen? I did. I hope you did. And ((music playing)) if you didn't, how many of you it didn't? But you're ready. You're you're you're ready for it to turn on a dime. I I tell you, I just I really ((music playing)) I really believe for that. I so thankful. I love when the full band just hits us with a wall of sound and we get to go into the heavenly heights together. And I also love the feel of grace that was on our team again this morning with the strings and ((music playing)) just the beautiful voices and love it so much. Thank you. Thank you. You're so so beautiful. Love [applause and music] it. It just it just feels like there's a whole the air is pregnant with ((music playing)) grace. Grace is the enabling presence of God. It's the enabling power of God. It enables. It doesn't ((music playing)) just get you in, it sustains you. So, we're going to pray together. Um, anyone um have family or friend, close friends ((music playing)) that don't know the Lord and you'd be willing to pray. Not just someday they return, ((music playing)) but now. >> Put a hand up. >> Yeah. All right. Put a hand on someone whose hand is up and pray. Just call them home right now. Any family member, any friends, just put your hand on their shoulder and just ((music playing)) declare. In fact, you know what? Just declare it out loud. Come home now. Mention their name. Come ((music playing)) home now. Come home to Jesus now. We declare lifegiving ((music playing)) grace over every single family member represented in this room. ((music playing)) We just declare today is the day of salvation. Today is the day. ((music playing)) Say that with me. Today is the day >> of salvation. ((music playing)) >> Say it again. Today is the day of salvation. Amen. Amen. Now, how many of you How many of you believe that when Jesus shed his blood, he actually shed his blood for every sin? Not just ((music playing)) the big ones or not just the easy ones, all of them. How many of you believe that when he bore stripes in his body, he made a ((music playing)) payment for all sickness? All sickness. ((music playing)) That means divine health is your inheritance. Say it with me. Divine health is my inheritance. All right. Anybody want to ((music playing)) step into that more fully this next year? I'm I'm serious. I feel like we're going to make headway into that area. Just grab a hand of somebody next to you and just pray. God, let this be the season ((music playing)) of breakthrough and divine health. Every area of infirmity. It says Jesus took our affliction and pain to the cross. He carried it where it was uh made powerless. So we declare that healing word in ((music playing)) this room today right now in Jesus name. Our Bethl family online, we declare the same to you. May this be the season ((music playing)) where you enter more fully into the gift, the inheritance of divine health. We pray that in Jesus name. Now do one more thing. Put your hand on your heart and just say, "I'm ready." ((music playing)) >> I'm ready >> for a prosperous soul. >> For a prosperous soul. >> Let's say it. I'm ready. >> I'm ready. >> For a prosperous soul. >> For a prosperous. >> Father, I ((music playing)) pray that this year would be such inner health in every family member that everything around us ((music playing)) would start to look like what's inside of us. life would flow in Jesus name. Merry Christmas. ((music playing)) Happy New Year. Love on a bunch of people then find your places. [applause and music] [laughter] Well, good morning again everybody. Would you help us out if you're seated with an open chair next to you? Could you raise a hand? There's lots of folks in here today around the sides that might still be looking for a seat. That'll help our ushers out. Thank you. Yeah, keep your hands up for just a minute until we know everybody's kind of finding their spot. Yeah, you can keep your hands up. Look for a hand raised. If you're around the side and don't have a seat yet, there's definitely some open here in the middle section. I see some hands all over the room if you're still looking for a chair. We've also got our overflow room open across the hall to my left. So, our ushers will help you make sure you've got a comfy spot for today's service. Well, merry Christmas. Happy New Year again. I always love this week between Christmas and New Year. It feels like it could either be this weird time warp and nobody knows what day it is, which is probably going to happen to me this week. Um, but it also tends to feel like a really sweet time of reflection and preparation. So, I just pray that over you and your household that you would find this week to be a peaceful preparatory week as we head into our new year. We bless your homes and your families. Thanks for being here today. We love taking a moment to welcome anybody that's a guest each week. So, we know people travel far and wide, even at the holidays, to be with us sometimes on Sundays. So, if that's you in the room and you're a guest here, would you give us a wave? We want to welcome you. Hi. Good to see you. So glad you're here. If this is your first time to Bethl Church, keep a hand up. Actually, our ushers are passing out cards that are just for you, our first time guests. There are some information there. Of course, if you're here to stay, it's really important to us that we help you get connected and plugged in around here. So, we would invite you to just go out to our south lobby after service and meet with our team. Uh, say hi to our team at the info center. If you're here to stay, we're going to make sure you know how to get plugged in and connected. Otherwise, I mean, they give out prayer there, prophetic words, all the things. So, first- time guest, we're really, really glad you're here. Thanks for being here. Um, all right, we've got church news and another video to watch. So just direct your attention to the screen. >> Hey Bethl family. It is great to see you. Glad you're in church this morning. And uh welcome to week four of a very flannel Christmas. Although Christmas is over, which makes me kind of sad. Never. Merry Christmas. >> You know, Steve, no. It's too late and too soon. We're so glad you've joined us. Here's church news. Do you want to be equipped? I do. Well, I got some good news for you. Our equip classes are beginning January 11th on Sunday for this winter season. It's going to be powerful. If you want to be empowered, you want to be better equipped in your identity and your spiritual understanding, your biblical understanding, these are a great way to get plugged in, get discipled, and to get equipped in the supernatural. You can explore the full list of these classes at bethl.com/equip. Randy Clark is a treasure. Not that kind of treasure. Uh he's been so important to this house. He's doing his healing and impartation school January 14th through the 16th here in Reading. So over those three days, Randy and his team will pour out rich teaching on words of knowledge, the healing prayer model, a growing in our faith for miracles, ((music playing)) and having a solid biblical basis for healing. There'll be moments of activation, hands-on ministry, ((music playing)) and powerful impartation. So, we can't wait to gather and for you to have this life-changing experience in God's presence and with his people. Christmas is over. Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it's happened. That's the lamest thing I've ever heard. Well, we do have the ways of the kingdom course that's coming up. It's an 8week disciplehip journey with TomRann ((music playing)) where believers will encounter God through teaching, small groups, ministry times, and activations. If your heart burns to partner with God, to step into greater freedom, identity, and purpose, and to ((music playing)) release the kingdom wherever you go, this course is for you. Want to get a testimony in here and just kind of lift the faith of church news. During the leadership conference this year, Bill went after uh head trauma ((music playing)) and a woman stood for ministry. And as the person was trying to pray for her, they pictured a band on her head, not a band like the Beatles, a band around her head. And she could she could feel as they prayed the trauma symptoms, I'm not exactly sure what they were, lift from that moment of prayer. And so again, we just want to say Jesus is still healing today, still bringing breakthrough today. and what he did for somebody else. We just again pray, Lord, do it again in this situation. Just a reminder, we're going to be fasting and praying in to increase breakthrough so that the there'd be an increased harvest in the first week of January and want you to join us. So, if you've missed any of these announcements, and you will miss us doing the announcements, but you can find them at bethl.com/churchnews. Have a great week and a happy new year. >> You can go watch them again and relive 2025. You're welcome. Oh, >> what if revival wasn't ((music playing)) something you just attended, but something you carried every day? Many believers hunger for God and taste moments ((music playing)) of breakthrough, yet struggle to partner with his ways to see his kingdom come in daily life. When Jesus and his disciples came, they demonstrated the gospel of the kingdom. That ((music playing)) yes, you're forgiven and now you're his child. But you get to demonstrate not just who Jesus ((music playing)) was, but who he is as he is in this world. So are you. Many believers today have received ((music playing)) a touch from Jesus, but they haven't learned how to partner with his ways to see his kingdom ((music playing)) come on earth as it is in heaven. Which is why we've built this course called ways of the kingdom where you can come ((music playing)) and receive the fire of God. Understand the gospel, what Jesus has done for you on the cross, his death, burial, his resurrection, the crucified Christ. ((music playing)) That his blood is enough today. That today you can come just as you are and receive freedom ((music playing)) and be commissioned with the same commission God gave his disciples. The truth is, cities and nations, ((music playing)) your friends, your family, they're waiting for the appearing of the sons and daughters of God, ((music playing)) for the kingdom of God to come manifest through your life. That we get to announce the crucified son of God ((music playing)) is now alive. The king is here and you can come to know him. You can ((music playing)) destroy the works of the devil and manifest the kingdom of God through your life to your ((music playing)) friends in your city. So, will you join us for the ways of the kingdom? I love it. I'm before the moment and then when it's time to get up, I'm late for the moment. Anyway, would you stand with me? We get to give in this moment. [laughter] Um while we were singing songs about what Jesus has done for us, uh the Lord started walking me through 2025. This is our final Sunday and we've had 51 opportunities as a community online and in the house to give to the Lord to say, "God, you are Lord over my finances. you are faithful and I will give to your house that there would be meat, that there would be sustenance and resource for those who need it. And so, uh, we want to invite you into this final 52 opportunity to give. It's the time that we get to worship together as a community and say to the Lord, here God, take the best that we have to give and do what you will with it. And I just want to read to you what the Lord has said uh, he would do. He said, "I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field, says the Lord of Hosts. And all nations will call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land, says the Lord of Hosts." And I know I've walked in that in 2025. Has anybody else had the devourer rebuked for your sake? Meaning, God didn't let you come to uh failure. He provided for you when there was no other way for provision to come. He made sure that you had everything that you need. No one in here has gone hungry. No one in here has been uh uh able to say like for my husband and I, we had utilities all year. We had a place to rest our head. Our family was provided for. And now we get to give out of the fullness of that. So let's do offering declaration number one. and for the final time give together as a community. As we receive today's offering, we are believing the Lord for jobs and better jobs, raises and bonuses, benefits, sales and commissions, favorable settlements, estates and inheritances, interest and income, rebates and returns, checks in the mail, gifts and surprises, finding money, debts paid off, expenses decrease, blessing and increase. Thank you, Lord, for meeting all of my financial needs that I may have more than enough to give into the kingdom of God and promote the gospel of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah. Thanks, God. And as the ushers pass the plate, would you help me welcome our speaker for today, Richard Gordon? ((cheering)) >> I love it. I love you so much. Have fun. Thank ((applause)) you. Well, hey, Bethl Church. Good to see you. Well, this is my first Sunday morning preaching here. I heard it's a tough crowd. True. I'm just joking. Uh, why don't you tap someone next to you and say, "God's going to encounter you today." >> And why don't you tap that same person and say, "I'm worried about you." >> The Lord could speak through a donkey. Wow. >> Let me pray for you. Open your hands. Holy Spirit, I thank you. More than a meeting that we would meet you. More than a teaching that the teacher would come into this place, God, more than receiving from a man, we ask for the son of man to be manifest in this place. And God, I pray for lives to be touched, transformed, inspired, and movement, especially in the person on your left and right. Amen. Why don't you turn to the scriptures with me? I'm going to read out of 2 Corinthians chapter 3 and my kind of key text is going to be chapter 3 verse 18. Such a privilege. You know, 12 years ago, we came here to do one year of BSSM. 12 years later, uh, it's such a privilege. Bill, Dan, Chris, hey, there's my wife. I love you, babe. I uh I grew up in a house, a non-Christian home. First time I walked into a building of a church, I was 17 years old with an orange mohawk. Uh at the sound of the singing saints, something awoken inside of me. And uh it ended up me at the altar giving my life to Jesus, falling in love with a man. And I never thought that I would be in ministry. Um I actually studied engineering and thought I was going to go into an engineering space. only after doing BSSM they offered me to come and pastor me and my wife and I said yes and I took my salary from here to here but I'm just so thankful uh for this house thankful for you Bill and uh this is a privilege to be here so let's read in chapter 2 Corinthians I mean sorry 2 Corinthians chapter 3:1 18 We all who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory are being transformed into his image with an everinccreasing glory or a glory to glory which comes from the Lord who is the spirit. So, we're going to talk on the glory of God today. The glory is the manifest presence of Jesus. Three years ago, I was in Hawaii and uh I was driving to a meeting and the Holy Spirit told me, "This is going to be the most important meeting that you get go to on the island." And I get there and there's three people there. And I start to share my story and I start to start to uh share testimonies about my life and and I get on a whiteboard and you know I'm an engineer so I'm like the drawing works like this and and if I'm honest there was no fireworks and lightning. There was no it wasn't the most grandeur of meetings but I shook the hand of this man at the end and it was like electricity and I just knew I was supposed to bless him with whatever he asked. And it was a week later he texted me and said, "Hey, I know we've only met once, but would you consider coming back to Hawaii and doing our Christmas service?" And I said, "Yeah." So we jumped on a Zoom call and he said, "You know, our church has never experienced miracles, the power of the Holy Spirit, the infilling." And uh during CO season, we felt like hope had been robbed from the people. And we needed something more than just a um the idea of hope. We needed a demonstration of God's power and his love to show a people there was hope for the world. Would you come and would you introduce our church to the miraculous to the power of God and the infilling of the Holy Spirit? And of course I said, you've got the right person. And then he said, you know, and can you do it in 15 minutes? And I laughed just like you laughed. And I I said, "Can you give me a little more time?" And uh they went away as a leadership team and they prayed and they came back and they said, "You can have 20 minutes." And I said, "I'll take it." And I arrive there uh and Christmas service for a more evangelical church. It's Super Bowl Sunday. They had sent out 10,000 flyers amongst the community. They had invited everyone they possibly could and they had put on the best production they could and presentation of the gospel. So you can imagine all the associate pastors were like, "What is that guy with dreadlocks doing here?" They were going to do upfront ministry for the first time ever. Uh and so they got me to meet with the ministry team to train them on how to do ministry at the front of a church. So I said to them, you don't need a practical how-to. You need an encounter if you're going to release an encounter. If you need to see someone healed, you need to see the God that heals. >> And so I started to share my story and then I started to pray for people as they came forward. And one by one, they started to get radically touched by the power of the Holy Spirit. Tap someone next to you and say, "I'm worried about you." And there was this lady Bethy and she comes up and she is a well-known traveling minister for the Fourquare movement. Traveled all over the world preaching and she comes forward and the power of the Holy Spirit touches her and she starts to tremble, falls. She rattles on the ground like a little fish. [snorts] She gets up and she testifies. She said, "When I was 18 years old, I got touched by the Holy Spirit and I'm 68 now and this was my second touch. You can imagine the faith that filled the ministry team. >> A well-known producer comes up. He gets radically touched by the power of the Holy Spirit. And suddenly, everyone is so excited and really nervous for Christmas. >> So, we're driving to Christmas and it's raining, cats and dogs, and my friend is cancelling the pony rides, the jumping castle, the petting zoo cuz they had a carnival prepared, but it's raining too much. And my friend turns to me and he says, "You can have a little bit more time if you want. Tap someone next to you and say, "It's time to rain." So I get there and they do this awesome service. It's amazing. It was epic. The place was packed out, 1,200 people. And and then my friend gets up and he says, "Church, we're doing something we've never done before. I felt from the Lord that we are supposed to shift our whole church and lean in to the move of the spirit, the power of God and the miraculous. And when you could feel the whole air just said, I've got a friend who's going to help us do that. Richard, could you come up? So, you can imagine me getting up, I'm going, oh no, [laughter] I hope it's going to work out. I phoned my wife the night before and I was crying going, "This is either going to go really well or I'm never coming back." And uh um I had 15 minutes uh 20, but at that stage they said they brought it back to 15. [laughter] And I got the four square pastor to share her testimony. I got the film producer to share his testimony. what happened yesterday. And um I shared my testimony and I said, "Okay, we're going to pray for people. Do be touched by the power of God." They thought maybe a hundred people would come forward because they'd never done this before. So So I said, "If you need a touch of the power of God, if you need a miracle in your body, we want to pray for you." And 700 people rushed the front. And for the next four hours, we prayed for miracles. local upon local praying. Not just me, local upon local, this one local, a tumor dissolves under her hand. First time she's seen a miracle. And boom, boom, boom, boom. This is the first time in their church. Tap someone next to you and say, "Glory to glory." >> Glory to glory. >> Last weekend, I was at that same church for the three-year reunion at the same venue. The church has grown by a third because when God is on display, people run. That's right. >> Either they run or they run. [laughter] And it was so beautiful. It's not a story of a powerful minister. It's the story of a powerful God and a people that took a promise and now every week they see miracles. They've changed their core values and now their core values are this healthy, smart, supernatural. Wow. Tap someone next to you and say there is more. >> I love these guys. They all the leaders are Harvard graduates, Yale graduates, Cornell graduates. Just the most fascinating. Can you put that picture up of the manger and the throne? Glory to glory. >> Same glory, different stage. >> Can you put that picture up of my wife if that's okay? the real things on the front row. But for those online, this moment was when Moses was born, our six-year-old Libby looks exactly the same still today. She looks the same on our wedding day. She is a picture of the Moore of God. She is my muse, the best leader I know. She's the most incredible creature ever. Love you, babe. This moment made us parents. Uh, could I get those friends of mine to pull up a manger and that throne as I tell the story? Uh, and so when we were married, we were married for seven years before having kids. Seven years. That was seven years of travel and glory and dates and time and fun and it was epic. It was the best. If you're single, get married. It is the best thing ever. The closest thing to heaven. And then we had kids. [laughter] Tap someone next to you and say, "Glory to glory." >> This was glorious. But they said having kids was amazing. Well, if you're a parent, raise your hand. Uh, [laughter] so when we had kids, um, no more sleep, much more anxiety, money's running a little thinner, no more dates. [laughter] Babe, be honest. I'm sleeping 3 hours a night. I start hallucinating. [laughter] Horses are running through my house and this is not an encounter. [laughter] But how many understand it's a greater glory? >> It's so great. We had three of them. We have a nineweek old right here. Little Joshua. We have a Moses and a Joshua with that Christian. Marriage is glorious, but there was a greater glory having kids. It was very different. [laughter] It it uh thought it was going to be better. It was different. [laughter] >> It's the best way I can describe glory to glory. >> You think, "Oh man, it's it's just getting better." It's getting different >> and better for God is doing a new thing. So good. >> So you have this manger, this moment in history where God robs in person. Wow. I It's this moment that divides our timeline. Uh it's AD to BC. It's this glorious moment. And I don't understand it because Joseph knocks on the inn and the inkeeper says there's no room in the inn. Who made the mistake? Was it [laughter] Joseph got the wrong address? Was the inkeeper let in some someone wrong and filled in up? Did God just get so preoccupied? But this is 400 years of prophecies and and and preparation for this grand moment and there's no room in the inn. And asked the Lord, who made the mistake? And God said, "No mistake was made, for I chose to be born in a messy place so I could be born again in a messy place." Tap someone next to you and say, "You're a bit of a manger." But that's where God is born. That's where he gets born again. He doesn't get born in a palace. He gets born in a manger. When you got saved, you were a manger of a person. [laughter] >> And if you're here, I'm very excited for you could be born again. >> You don't have to get your life perfect for he was born in a messy place. >> But then what happens after this? We think the king has arrived. Yes. And then he goes into hiding for Herod tries to kill him. What? Glory to glory. My friend uh Lorianne, she's the only one I thought would have like a throne type of chair. She told me, you know, my Jesus, he sits on a leopard print throne. What's quite funny is that she herself wears a lot of leopard print and she has about 700 children. So what she she told me she does is she would wear leopard print and sit on this chair and the kids couldn't find it. [laughter] Glory to glory. What do I do in the two? Those who know how to steward glory, they know what to do in the two. So Jesus is born and for 30 years silence. 30 years silence. What? And on the 30th year he reveals himself by changing water to wine. Was this 30 years? What was it? Anyone had a prophetic word here? And 30 years later, [laughter] you feel me? Let's make it real. That's [laughter] God speaks. Yes. Yes. This is the moment. >> Two. Why the two in the two faith is not visible. Your faith is without applause. So your shallow faith has to become mature faith. >> In the two, your obedience does not come with accolades. Your obedience is not seen, but your obedience becomes deep. >> How do you know that you're in a two? Your role has changed. You're a mom and suddenly you're a mom of teenagers. What do I do? Suddenly, you're an engineer and now you're a pastor. Your roles changed. Sudden you're in a two season. Bethl church. What if some of us are in a two season? What do you do in the two? Uh let's turn to the scriptures and let's go to 2 Corinthians chapter 3 verse 1. I'm going to go through the scripture line by line. And Bill taught me this. He said, uh, don't just quote the scripture. Take the people to the scripture so that the word transforms them. And I was like, wow. So, I started doing that and there's more transformation under his word than my word. So, I pray that the scripture reads you, that I don't just read the scripture. Before we get to verse one, I just want to point out there's this pattern of glory to glory throughout the scriptures. So we see Jesus born 30 years to Jesus revealed Jesus baptized glory a dove to the wilderness comes out glory power. Jesus ministers miracles, glory. Jesus dies. Two, three days. What is happening in the two? It's a little confusing. In the two, it's a little quiet. In the two, it takes a lot of trust. After those three days, glory, Jesus resurrected. Jesus walks amongst the people. He walks through walls, eats fish with them. And then Jesus goes up on a cloud. Two. What are we doing? He came. He was with us. Why is he gone? Go wait in the upper room. Glory. Pentecost. The true church is born. A spiritfilled church. Yes, >> there's this pattern in the scriptures of glory to glory. Glory to glory, glory to glory. Do you see that pattern in your life? >> Let's talk about those temples. Do you have that picture of those three temples that you can throw up? There's these three different dwelling places. One is the tabernacle of Moses. You can see that tent right there. I put them next to each other just so you can visualize them. And there was a glory that filled that moving temple, that tabernacle, that tent that was set up as they moved through the wilderness. And the fire and the cloud filled that temple. And then Solomon's temple was covered in gold. Glorious. It was a temple that stood and it it was a symbol of ruling and reigning. And when the sacrifice was placed upon the altar, a fire and a cloud filled that temple. And then the Babylonians destroy it. And another temple is built. Zerubbabel's temple, but this time less gold, not as big, not as glamorous. It said the old men wept when they saw it. And when the sacrifice was put on the altar, uh, no fire and no cloud. So now imagine this. You had a tabernacle with glory. You had a temple with glory. And now you have an Zerubil's temple. It's smaller, less gold, and no manifest presence. Is that glory to glory? What? IT'S SURELY GOD. IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE GLORY. gets better and better and better and better. Or is it different? Tap someone next to you and say, "It's getting a little different." And in Haga, it says this, "The glory of the latter house will be greater than the glory of the former house." When I looked at moving from marriage to babies, I was like, "What? don't feel better. And that was scripture was actually about Solomon's temple to Zerubil's temple. The glory of Zerubil's temple is greater than the glory OF SOLOMON'S. BUT THAT MAKES NO SENSE. It's different >> because one day the incarnate Christ would walk into Zerubabel's temple >> and he would study the scriptures and he would call it, "This is my father's house." That temple housed the incarnate Christ. >> You're looking at your next season and you're saying, "Why is it not?" >> What if it's different? What if it's different? >> What was the gap between that that Zerubal's temple and Jesus coming? [snorts] 400 years. That's a long long prophecy. >> Oh God, pray for me in the two. But some of the greatest things take because love is patient. I want to know, isn't love patient? That's a beautiful picture. 400 years, no manifest presence. 400 years, no prophecies. The last prophecy, Malachi says Elijah's coming and then silence. No manifest presence and no prophecy. Man, I don't know what we would do as Bethl church. And that's all we do. That's ease. And in that 400 years, you know what is birthed? The Pharisees and the Sadducees. For a faith, a belief that has no presence and no prophetic produces a pherocetical spirit. Still today, >> tap someone next to you and say, "Greater glory." >> It's not what you think though. [laughter] All the parents know it's not what you think. Shouting to Steve Moore. He was telling me he hasn't slept in his own bed for years now. [laughter] >> Their marriage is great. Climbs into his kids' beds every night for years and years, but they love it so much. What? You're on number six or something? Just to greater glory. It's the best way I can describe it. Okay, let's go to scriptures verse one and read through it, but it's going to read you. Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need like some people letters of recommendation to you or from you? You yourselves are our letter written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. You show that you're a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry written not with ink, but with the spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone, but on tablets of human hearts. Pause right there. We see Paul, he's setting up verse 18 and and he's saying that my credentials don't come from paperwork, but people, not from a title, but from transformation. It speaks that ink will fade but hearts will endure. >> And the big idea because he's about to introduce the new covenant in his speaking. This new covenant is not about information but it's about incarnation. That we're moving from laws on stone. We're moving from stone to skin. Let's go verse four. Such confidence we have through Christ before God. Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competency comes from God. He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant. Not of the letter, but of the spirit. I love that. Say it like a South African spirit. For the letter kills, but the spirit gives life. Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in the letters on stone came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory. Trans transitory, which means temporary, though it was. Will not the ministry of the spirit be even more glorious? For the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious. How much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness. Paul describes the letter in pretty offensive terms. He says it kills. Like wow, it's extreme language right there. But what is he saying? He's saying that the letter had only power to reveal sin, >> not heal the sinner, >> Paul also refers to Exodus 34 where Moses goes up the mountain and he gets the law on these tablets and he comes down and his face is physically shining with glory. What is he saying? He's saying that covenant had glory. It wasn't a fake glory. It was a real glory. >> But that glory is nothing in comparison to the glory that's coming. >> For if a covenant that revealed sin had glory, imagine a covenant that removes sin. >> What glory it would carry. Yes. >> Oh >> yes. Come on. >> Verse 10. For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts? So the issue wasn't did glory come or not. The issue was, could glory ever remain? [snorts] To have someone next to you and say, "I think so." Even this manger picture as glorious as Jesus coming as a baby and walking as a man, it was a picture of a visitation where Jesus on the throne is a picture of habitation. For he does not just sit on the throne in heaven. He also sits in your heart too if you'd make him Lord. Where were we? Verse 12. Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. We are not like Moses who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away. Now, this is so interesting. In uh Exodus 34, there is no record that the glory faded off of Moses's face. There's only a record that Moses went up, glory shone from his face, and then he veiled his face. But Paul, the theologians say that Paul had spirit inspired insight into something probably Moses did not understand. Why was this glory leaving me? Let me veil my face so hope is not lost within the Israelites. >> And Paul sees it and he says that glory faded but this glory is ever increasing. >> Have someone next to you and say glory to glory. >> Okay. Okay. Verse 14. But their minds were made dull. For to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed because only in Christ it is taken away. Even to this day when Moses has read the Torah, a veil covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns, say turns >> to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Ah, the best. What this speaks of is the text without Christ produces knowledge without encounter. >> You can know the verses and you can miss the person of Jesus. Just like the Pharisees, he came, the person of the presence was with them and they couldn't recognize him for they did not turn. They ended up crucifying him. Too often in the church, we become fluent in our theology, but God himself remains a stranger. And what this speaks of, the veil was not removed through deeper study. The veil was removed through surrender. As they turned, the veil was lifted off of their eyes. Tap someone next to you and say, "It's time to turn again. Verse 17. >> Now the Lord is the spirit. Yeah, this is the charismatic verse. Everyone's like, "Yeah, I know this one. Now the Lord is the spirit. And where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Get the flag. Start running around the church. Start doing cartwheels down the aisle. Freedom." Let's put this in context. He's talking about an old covenant and he's talking about a new covenant. What he's saying here is the spirit has liberated the soul from self efforts. There's this um kind of emphasis and culture at the moment that has moved from deny yourself to discover yourself. Self-confidence, self-image, self-awareness, self forgiveness ending in self-s salvation. But the veil is not lifted through a study of self. The veil is lifted through a turning. That turning is not our selfeffort. That turning is a surrender. >> A surrender. >> God, instead of my image, I want your image. >> Instead of selfrighteousness, give me your righteousness. Instead of my destiny, I surrender in the two. I want your destiny for my life. Hi, Moses. My son just walked in. >> To have someone next to you and say, "It's time to die again." What's nice about this covenant is it's actually easier than the last covenant. It It doesn't take It doesn't take all this self-effort. All it takes is for you to die. And I'm I'm talking about for salvation 100%. But I'm talking about right here, right now. Katherine Coleman said this, "Every time I walk on a stage, I die a thousand deaths." What if in your glory to glory? What if in the two God was not asking you for more selfeffort but God was asking you for more surrender of your finances >> of your image of what people think of you of your promotion of your your your your for in the two that's where shallow faith becomes mature faith. For in the two, God starts to stretch your capacity. And he stretches it so much so that you can hold a greater glory. The two is not a punishment. The two is a preparation for a greater glory. But it feels quiet. It feels confusing. [snorts] It feel But in the two, can you pray without sensation feeling? Can you obey without visibility and applause? That's now we're getting real. What if God gave you a prophetic word and only 10 years later it was fulfilled? Often the greater glory takes time to have someone next to you and say that it must be very good. [laughter] [gasps] Verse 18. This is the climax of the text. Let the scripture read you. And we all who with unveiled faces. Who's this to? All of us. This is not just to Bill Johnson. This is not just to Paul Mccclure. This is not just to the person on your left or right. This is not to the most anointed person in the room. This is to all. That's what's great about this covenant. It's available to all who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory and are being transformed into his image with an everinccreasing glory to glory which comes from the Lord who is the spirit unfailed un unveiled faces contemplating the Lord's glory. That's how you're transformed. What that speaks to me is you don't change by trying harder. You change by looking longer. >> I I I just I'm in this two season. What do I do? What self efforts can I do? No. No. Gaze longer. That's how transformation happens. What's great about this glory is we see progression. And the methodology of progression is not our efforts, it's our gaze. For what we behold, we end up holding. Makes me think of a diamond. One of my best friends is a a jeweler. And with a diamond, if this room was blacked out and you took a beautiful diamond and you put a little bit of light on that diamond, it would shine dimly. If you would start to turn that diamond, the light would start to refract inside that diamond. So, if light could make a sound, I'm going to be the sound effects of light right now. As you turn that diamond, the light will go that beautiful. What are you saying, Rich? Are you saying that uh I'm saying that the light is God? He does not change. The same yesterday, today, forever. But the diamond is you. It's uh your soul. And if you can just turn, if you can just turn to God, another shining piece of his glory glows. If you could just turn again, glory to. And if you could just turn again, surrender again, more glory. Could turn again, more glory. Tap someone next to you and say, "There's more glory." >> Tap that same person and say, "It's time to shine bright like a diamond. The more we gaze upon him, the more our face shines. Jesus, I'm going to end on this. What do we do in the two? I love the idea of glory to glory, but we kind of whisper the two. Many of us are in the two. I would say I'm in it. What do we do in the two? We got to learn to obey without applause, pray without sensation, worship without reward. We've got to be content with God alone. For when God becomes enough, then he can trust a man with his glory. He's searching the earth for safe hands, for safe hands that can hold his glory. I want you to close your eyes and I want you to think of your two right now. I I fear that we produce many believers who love the arrival but despise the formation. They want the crown without the cross. They want the power without the pruning. They want the throne without the manger. But no one drifted into holiness. No one stumbled into glory. It was formed slowly, painfully, and deliberately under the careful hand of God. So I speak to your souls. I say take courage and turn. Take courage and yield for there is a shining brightness that is going to reflect out out of you. The God who began a work in you is going to complete it. He has not forgotten the promise. He has not abandoned you. If you would say to me, Rich, hey, I think I'm in a two season. [laughter] I think I'm in a bit of a two season. And you know what? I want to embrace [clears throat] it so that my capacity increases for a greater glory. Something I realized is that when the veil was torn, Jesus shouted, "It is finished." >> He was talking about the old covenant. >> He wasn't just talking about his work. He's talking about the old covenant is done. And he wasn't saying it failed. Here's a better one. No, he was saying this. It is complete. Yes, >> it did its work. >> It revealed sin and it said you need a savior that is complete. >> There is a new era coming. >> Glory to glory is not comparison. OH, THAT ONE'S BAD. THIS ONE'S GOOD. NO, that one is completed. There is something new coming. >> It's not comparison. Oh, man. It was so good five years ago. No, no, that season has completed. A new season has come. >> So if you would say to me, I want to step into the greater glory. I want to embrace this two season. When I count to three, I want you to stand to your feet. One, two, and three. And as the ministry team can start coming up, I want you to close your eyes because I want to pray for an impartation. Don't despise this manger season. Don't rush God's timing. The measure of your life is not visibility. It's measured by obedience, humility, and a love for God. God, I pray that you would take a people and that you would cause their faith to deepen in this moment. God, I pray that you would take a people and you would cause their obedience to deepen in this moment. God, I pray that you'd take a people in a two season and that you would lift the veil of what you are doing and you would speak to them again and you would say, "This is not abandonment. This is a pregnancy unto a birth of a new thing. This is not a punishment. This is a preparation for a greater glory. For the confused, for those that are wondering what is happening, let me tell you, God is closer than you can think. For the kingdom of God is at hand. God, I pray for the souls to be filled with courage today. Let the spirit of God fill you. All you dry places, be filled. Springs of water bubbling up in desert places in Jesus name. If you're here and you would say to me, "Hey Rich, I feel like I'm far from God." I want to tell you good news. A friend of mine taught me this. God is not far from the believer. He's actually right here as close as my hand is to my face. And when you call on his name, he comes in into you. He's that close. We see it in Saul's life. He was killing Christians and bam. Ow. God comes in. If you're far from God today, I want to tell you good news. It's not through self-effort. It is through surrender to Jesus. Turn and a veil will be lifted. Hey Rich, I don't fully understand everything. Turn and a veil will be lifted for God is so near to you. If you would say to me, Rich, I'm far from God. I need a savior. I need Christ to be my savior today and I want to turn. Maybe it's for the first time or you're far from him. When I count to three, I want you to raise your hand. I want to pray for you. Why do we do this? It's because if you acknowledge God before man, he'll acknowledge you in the heavens. The scriptures say it's that simple. It's not form. It's not just function. It's heavenly. So, one, if you want to give your life to Jesus today and turn, two, and three, boldly just wave at me if that's you. I see those hands. That's amazing. That's amazing. That's amazing. ((applause)) That's incredible. I was 17 years old when this happened. If you responded today, I want you to do two things. I want you to tell the person you came with what you did today. They probably saw your hand come up. And the second thing I want you to come over here and we want to pray with you today. You go from darkness to light. You go from glory to glory. ((applause)) Put your hand on someone next to you. Pray for a greater glory to come in their life. Holy Spirit, we pray for a greater glory. We pray for a greater glory. God. God protect them. Courage them in the two and bless them in Jesus name. Those that are watching online, we love you. Thank you for being part of Bethl Global and Bethl Reading. We love you even more. >> Oh, ((applause)) amazing. Can we give this a huge round of applause for this man? ((applause)) >> Yes, Richie. Deeply, deeply love this man. We've had a I think a friendship for I think it's 27 years. And this I can promise you this man is obsessed with Jesus and the glory. Absolutely obsessed. He walks what he talks. So, thank you so much for being with us. We are really looking forward to ministering to you this morning. So, please don't be shy. We've got some ministry team up front here. Um, if you want to pray for your body to get healed, they'll prophesy over you. But we really want to minister to you. If not, just say hi to the person next to you. I know you've said a certain you've said about 27 sayings to each other throughout the preach. Um but make sure that you give each other hugs, greetings, place a little Jesus on their hearts and we'll see you next week. >> Wow. Wow. Wow. Such a good word from Richie. So good. So powerful. Seen in the chat from many of you. It really spoke to you, touched you. Uh but before we get in and just minister, we just wanted to create more space. I know Richie gave an opportunity for people to give their life to Jesus. If you feel like you're far away from God >> and you're like, man, I I I need Jesus. I need a savior in my life. I want you to go ahead and put in the chat, I need Jesus. >> And we just want to see that because we want to be able to meet with you, pray with you, acknowledge you. And at the end of the call, we have a team and you you'll see a link that comes on the screen and also in the chat that says uh start here. And if you click on start here, there's a team that will be able to meet with you, pray with you, walk you through, okay, what does this actually mean giving my life to Christ? What does it look like afterwards? Uh but I if that's you, go ahead and put in the chat, I need Jesus. And then I just want you to take a moment >> and just out loud, >> thank you, Lord, >> just begin confessing to the Lord that you can't do it on your own. Like we can't do it on our own. Like as you know the law tries to make us earn things, try to work things up. But Jesus paid the ultimate price. >> Yes. Thank you, Lord. >> So that we wouldn't have to earn it. It's by his stripes that we actually earn healing, earned salvation. Many of you that you're battling with health issues. You're believing for a miracle. My wife was in a wheelchair for 5 and a half years. And there was this temptation in that season of I have to earn my healing. I have to read my Bible. I have to pray the right thing. I have to do those things. And it wasn't until this light bulb moment of, oh, no, he's actually a really good God >> that loves to give gifts to his kids. That healing is a gift. Well, salvation is a gift. It can't be earned. >> You don't pay for it. >> If you pay for it, that would that would be buying it. That would be earning it, right? You can't pay for your salvation. It is a free gift that he gives willingly and freely. And all you have to do is actually surrender your heart. So, I saw someone in the chat. They put I need Jesus in there. I just want to celebrate with you. That's the best thing you could possibly do. And normally >> uh we'll like lead people through a prayer, but I actually feel like in your own space, it was uh Mac and 10 in in your own space, just start talking out loud to the Lord. Invite the Holy Spirit to come. Ask him to take away all your sin, all of your stuff, and invite him to take residence up in your life. >> Surrender your life to God. And then at the end, I want to encourage you to click on that link, start here, and our team will be able to walk with you. So good. >> Yes. Yes. I I really felt while uh Steve was praying, there's a mom, you're watching, I see you driving in your car, and while uh you're driving and Steve was praying, you started calling for your son, for your son to come home. And I I just I just felt to partner with you in prayer right now and declare uh sons and daughters coming coming back home, prodigals coming back home. Uh this was such a powerful message and um a new measure of glory being revealed to us and I and I saw someone's son uh he has walked away. He walked with the Lord for a long time but he has walked away and I see him coming back home this morning in Jesus' name. Yeah. And many people also uh asking for prayer for healing. Um yes we declare healing over you right now in Jesus name. Someone asking for prayer for uh their back. I I felt like uh this morning while uh even while Bill was closing worship, many people got healed. If that was you, uh just share your testimony on the chat. I feel like many of you got healed this morning while Bill was speaking. What a morning. >> So good. Such a good word. >> We knew it was going to be glory to glory. We were right. >> We said we called it. >> That's what Brad talked about. Rich is obsessed with the glory of God, which we called it. Such a gift. I'm so proud of him. He crushed it. >> He did so great. It was such a powerful word, but also just such a timely word. It's so easy to get, you know, in this in this time and age, this instant gratification. I want it now. I want the success now. I want this thing now. >> But, uh, let me just tell you, if the Lord has spoken something over your life, >> no, there's nothing you can do to actually force that or make that happen. If he speaks the word, he's the one that fulfills it. Yes. >> Now, there's things that we get to be a good steward, right? So I'm not saying be an idiot, go the complete opposite direction, but often times we feel this pressure that we have to make something happen when he has spoken something and he is so faithful. Yes. >> And so whether it happens in one year or 30 years, I can be at rest and I can be at peace cuz I know that he's spoken it. >> But when we try to make it happen, when we try to, you know, use our self-effort, that's how burnout happens. That's how exhaustion creeps in. That's how we, you know, become discouraged because we're actually putting the emphasis and focus on our own efforts, our own ability, our own self instead of putting it on him. And that's what I loved about Richie bringing the word today that he was just talking about, you know, the more you want to see transformation. Just fix your gaze longer on him. It's not about doing the right thing. It's actually about just accepting >> and being the right thing. >> Yes. Uh, one of the things he said was some things take a greater time for them to happen because love is patient. And I really felt this morning as he was speaking just the Lord reminding us to not try to strive especially because it's it's the end of the year. Yeah. And when the end of the year uh happens, I'm I'm I'm a person like that. I start thinking like all the things I wanted to all those things to happen in that year and it's almost like there's this anxiety around the the new year. And I just felt the Lord reminding us that we don't have to have uh this calendar of when things are supposed to happen by. I always say I would love to give God a watch. God [laughter] for Christmas. I would love to give him a watch. God, what time is it? >> Disney Mickey Mouse. >> Yeah. Disney Mickey Mouse watch. And he's like, "No, I don't I don't >> I love Disney. Guys would love to give him a Mickey Mouse watch for Christmas." And God is like, "No, thank you." Because some things take time. So, I just feel like there's this reminder for the new year of just um keeping your eyes on him. That that was something else he said as well. He was just saying uh it doesn't come with striving more, but with a bigger surrender. You just have to keep your eyes on him for longer. So, just keep your eyes on the Lord. And I I really felt like this is the word for uh 2026, just keeping our eyes on him. Such a good reminder before the new year. >> So, good. And you know it it's it like wars against our human nature. We want to control things. We want to hang on to things. We want to feel powerful to be able to make it happen. But what we're doing subconsciously is we're actually putting our trust and our faith in our ability instead of putting our trust and faith in his ability. And so I just want to encourage all of you. Today felt like a little bit of a reset moment. Kind of like a reset of like, oh yeah, I get to remind I get to remind myself it's not about the destination. >> Yes. It's about a habitation with a person, right? >> And so, I just want to pray over you right now. If you feel like you're in that place where you've been feeling like you've been trying to make it happen, you've been trying to work it up, >> I just want to encourage you just to close your eyes, hold out your hands. Thank you. >> And we want to pray. And when we pray, >> I'm really believing that there's going to be a fresh touch of the Holy Spirit that comes over you. That you're going to experience the presence of God in a fresh way. But even if you don't experience anything physically, I want you to fix your mind and your heart on truth of what he said. >> Amen. >> Because it's not about what's happening around us. It's what's happening about what's happening in us and through us with him. >> And so, Father, right now, I thank you for grace coming in the room. >> God, we thank you for rest coming on people. God, I thank you for your presence being made manifest over people's bodies right now. >> Yes. >> And God, we just thank you for peace. >> Amazing. And God, I just even declare right now people that have been waiting for even healing. You've dealt with uh conditions for years upon years and years. Father, I thank you for that lifting right now. We command all pain to go, all trauma to go, all infirmity to go right now. We release the peace of God >> right now in Jesus name. And God, I thank you for coming in a fresh way and speaking so clearly. >> Thank you, Lord. >> Right now in this moment, God, I thank you for an unlocking of our ears >> and attuning our hearts right now. >> In Jesus name. >> In Jesus name. Peace. Peace. peace. Thank you, God. >> Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. >> Thank you, Jesus. >> Yes. Yeah. And we just declare that not just um today, but over this week and also into the new year, just this uh reset something. Yeah. This this season of resetting and things starting all over. Even things that you are not hopeful for anymore, just declare hope right now in Jesus' name. In Jesus name. Someone just asked on the chat if there's going to be a New Year's service. >> Oh, wow. Paul was talking about that earlier. I was >> maybe in the future. >> Maybe in the future. It's good. I'm going to [laughter] >> maybe in the future. >> Maybe in the future. He won't do it, but I'll be there. Just sit there [laughter] talking about the New Year's service. Guys, pray. Pray with me for [laughter] >> a New Year's party service cuz we want one. Yes. >> Come on. Well, we love you guys. We have ministry rooms available. So, there's going to be a link that comes in the chat on the screen. You can click on that link if you want to receive more ministry. If you're believing for miracles, prophetic words, direction, just peace, you're wanting to experience encounter God, just click on that link. We want to partner with you. Believe for breakthrough. Also, reminder, if you just surrendered your life to Jesus, there's going to be a link start here. >> Right there. >> Click on that link. They'll be able to walk with you and pray with you and take you in the next steps. But such a powerful night. We have a service tonight. >> Tonight, Chris speaking. >> Not on New Year's Eve. Uh, [laughter] good night. >> Not not on New Year's Eve, but tonight. We love you. We're so glad that you joined us. >> We love you guys. Happy New Year. >> We'll see you next year. Oh, tonight and next year. >> Tonight and then next year. [laughter] Goodbye.
