Bethel Church Service | Leslie Crandall Sermon | Worship with David Funk, Zahriya Zachary Oh, Bethl online community. It's so good to be with you tonight. What's up, guys? >> It's Cassie and Dom. Do you guys know Dom? >> I have never been on here, so no one should know me. >> Dom, tell us about yourself. >> Well, I uh get to serve with Bethl Music. And I've been a part of Bethl for the last I think 12 years. And so, >> um I love this place. I love this church. And so, it's an honor to be with you guys tonight. This is my first time uh being a part of hosting the Bethl Online Connect. And so, uh, I'm excited to hang out with you guys and we're watching so many people from all over the world already join in, which is incredible. >> It's pretty awesome. We've got people. You can, if you want to tell us where you're from. It's actually pretty cool. Uh, Dom is heading out on the road. What? Next week. This week. >> Yep. Our BETHL music team. Yes. We'll be going to Asia, which is so exciting. Um, we will fly out on Wednesday night and we're going to be in uh, Manila, Philippines for two nights. We're in an arena. The first night's already sold out, but the second night, if you're around, we would love to worship with you. Um, and then we go to uh Malaysia and Indonesia and Singapore, which I think there was someone before we went live that Moses right here. >> Hey, I'm from Singapore. So, um, we're excited to be with these nations. And honestly, um, our heart and our expectation is for God to show up in these nights. Um, we really, there's nothing special about us, but we just come into these cities and hope to fan the flame of what God's already doing in the churches that are on the ground in those cities. And so, we're excited to be with you all. And I hope that, yeah, wherever you are, if you are in Asia, um, that you'd find us and you'd be in one of the nights. And so, we're expecting great things. >> Sounds amazing. I know so many of our Asian family will either be watching live now or they're going to watch this back. And if you can't make it to Reading, California, hey, go to wherever Bethl Music is. We'd love to just worship, be in the presence of God with you. Those nights are special. I know people get touched by God. Miracles break out. Even I've heard of salvation stories at these um tour nights. And I mean, we say tour, but really it's >> it's worship night. Yeah. We're we're not putting on a performance. We're not uh trying to get through a set list. We're really truly asking the Lord to show up in these nights and do what only he can do. And um yeah, it's just incredible to be at last time we were in the Manila Philippines. It was it would have been I think almost 10 years ago and I remember there was the Lord gave us some words of knowledge um for for some people and yeah the healing broke out in the room. It was an arena full of 10,000 people. And so um that's what we're expecting God to do again this time is uh you know call people out by words of knowledge. call pe uh us go after healing things that um whatever you're struggling with that God would meet you in those places. And so yeah, we're excited. >> So good. So good. This is I'm going to take a little risk right now. Um cuz when you were talking about words of knowledge, I was like, "Oh God, what if you gave us a word of knowledge right now and someone got healed and as um Don was sharing, I kept feeling my throat get really dry." And so I don't know if anyone's struggling where you um you keep having this like uh maybe like issue or like it t it's hard for you to swallow like maybe it's been either dry mouth or um even just an issue with saliva. I saw the Lord beginning to heal and all of a sudden like uh throats, esophaguses actually like rewetting. I'm not sure how things get rewetted, but I saw things that were dry actually come back to life. And so if that's you, you can post it in the chat. You can let us know. Maybe you're watching this back and um you're saying, "Wait, that's that's me." God, I pray right now that you would bring healing into throats, God, into any areas um around the mouth, around the throat, in the esophagus where it feels like you've had a dryness um that right now you would experience even relief in Jesus' name. You feeling anything on that, Paige? >> No, I I think that's amazing. I I um just thinking about tonight was feeling I don't know there's people from all over the world that are obviously tuning in and um I think that I just had the sense that you know everything that you need everything that you are desiring um just a reminder that it's found in him. It's found in uh Jesus. And so just an encouragement to whatever you might be walking through um and if it is you're walking through a diagnosis that's really hard or if it is you know you've fallen away from the Lord and you don't know how you know to do life without him uh you're struggling with finances or marriage issues like I think the Lord is just uh wanting to remind you know his his children that that everything is found in him. And so I think there's this call. I have this overall sense tonight that he's calling people back to him and saying, "Come to me. Let me let me fill you. Let me meet you. Let me um walk with you in whatever uh problem you might be facing that that I'm a God that likes to be with you in the the troubles." And so just encouragement to wherever you are in the world, whatever you're going through, that he is um yeah, all sufficient and he is the one uh that you c you can find everything you're looking for in him. >> Wow. I'm going to ask Don for you to pray in just a second, but I'm seeing some people. Cararolina, I'm seeing that you're asking for prayer for your father. Shannon, I saw you issues with swallowing. Celia, your negs uh your negs. Oh my god, your knee and your legs hurt. Sorry, I put two words um together. I know some of you are praying for different things. Um some of you just came in here with a need >> and I want this is such a good reminder that everything is found in him. Your healing is found in Jesus. >> Salvation is found in Jesus. Right? Life is found in Jesus. So I'm going to ask Dom to pray. But if you are asking for prayer, maybe you came in here and you're contending for somebody else. Maybe you said, "Jesus, we need a miracle. I need to know that you're near me. I need to know." You know, maybe you're just like, I need someone to pray for me. I need someone to remind me that Jesus is right here. If that's you, maybe just put your hand on your heart as you receive this in your homes, in your bedrooms, in your cars, in your kitchens. And I'm just going to um I'm just going to have Dom pray. >> Yeah. Lord, we thank you. Um and even right now we we bring every need um you know specifically Shannon uh for her issues with swallowing and and anything else that anyone is facing that is watching this that's um needing a breakthrough that you would just meet these people where they are. Um whether they're in their car, whether they're in their home, Lord, I pray that your presence would fill wherever they are and that you'd invade their lives. And I just ask God that there we we'd even just see right now major breakthrough whether it's in he whether it's in family issues, marriage healing, financial breakthrough. I pray Lord that you would just be um so close to everyone that is in need and that that reality of of that you are a good father. Um that that the love of the father would cover every single person watching. And so we just pray that right now that that your presence would fill everyone joining on this Bethl online uh stream and anyone that is not anyone that anyone's being in standing in proxy for that you would just fill these people and fill this church right now. Even as we're about to go into service, we have an incredible church service that's about to start. We got David Funk and Zarya um leading worship and Caleb Jackson. So that's going to be incredible. And then we have Leslie Crannle speaking. So even right now before we begin, I pray that your presence would rush into this uh auditorium and that that that whatever you know, whatever we're walking into this place with that that we would just Yeah. >> be met by you, Lord. >> Right. >> And we would have that realization and knowing that anything that we need is found in you. and that reality of your blood and what you've done on the cross would just be um our reality as we as we walk through tonight. So, amen. >> Come on. Yeah. >> Come on, Dom. As you were praying, I was thinking about the story in John 4 and it was when um the uh official came to meet Jesus and he asked him if he would come to heal his son and Jesus says, "Go, your son will live." And at that moment, that's when his son was actually healed. um his I don't know if you guys remember the story but the the servants go out to meet the official and he says when was he healed and and the official knew at that exact hour when Jesus said to him go your son will live and I just felt faith rising in me that even as Dom was praying as we were praying for your loved one uh for your loved ones as we were praying for people to get radically touched by the Lord I just had this faith building in me of like go your son will live and so I don't know who came on here and you were like one One of those words was for me. One of those that thing that he's praying, Jesus, this is what you're speaking to me. I just want to remind us of the story, go, your son will live. And so, whoever that's for tonight, we just bless you that sometimes it's not just in the laying of a uh laying on of hands. Like, you don't have to be in the room with us for you to get healed. Actually, Jesus modeled this where he would send his word and people would be healed. So, right now, if you're contending and you're watching this and you're thinking, "Are you sure, God? Can something really happen to me? Well, it happened in the Bible. If Jesus modeled this very thing, I mean, I have so much faith for that happening right now. And so, we just bless you guys wherever you are. Whatever you're cont uh contending for, we just bless your bodies in Jesus name. We just say be healed in Jesus' name. And we just say again, go. Your son will live. Guys, we're excited to worship with you. >> So excited. We'll see you after the service. >> Bye. Welcome, welcome, welcome to 6 PM service tonight. So glad you guys are here. Also want to say hello to our online family. We're so glad you guys are watching from all over the world. A, it feels like family in here. Everyone coming together, greeting one another. It's so good. Thanks, God. Um, we're just about to go into a time of worship. And I would love to just read this scripture over us as we're about to uh just prepare our hearts as we enter in. So, why don't we listen to this real quick? It says, "Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth." Can we just do that for a moment? Just shout to the Lord. all the earth. Yes. Worship the Lord with gladness. Come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us and we are his. We are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever. His faithfulness continues through all generations. It says to come to enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. And I don't know, maybe some of you that are in this room or you're watching online, maybe you had a tough week, but we get to come and offer something so special to the Lord by coming and bringing our thanksgiving, our praise, our worship to him. So, even before we begin, I want us just to lift up. Maybe it's a song, maybe it's a a just a a scripture, maybe you're just putting Jesus on your lips. Come on. As a church, let's just begin to lift up our thanksgiving and our praise. Let's enter it. Come on. Just all over the room. We thank you. We thank you, Jesus. We thank you, God, for your greatness. We thank you for your goodness. Just put thankfulness on your lips, praise on your lips. Thank you, God, for you're so you're so so great, God. Worthy to be praised. Worthy to be praised. Thank you, Jesus. We come with grateful hearts before you. And let's say this together. It says, "For the Lord is good." Repeat after me. For the Lord is good. >> For the Lord is good. >> And his love endures forever. >> And his love endures forever. >> Let's say it again. For the Lord is good. >> For the Lord is good. >> And his love endures forever. and his love endures forever. >> Can we all say amen? >> Amen. >> All right. Awesome. Why don't you turn and just greet someone next to you? Why even just say that? For the Lord is good and his love endures forever. Amen. >> Amen. So good. Your love endures forever. Your mercy endures forever. And we give you thanks that your love endures forever. Thanks be to God for his love endures. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Praise him all creatures here below. If you're able to stand, please stand with us. We're going to pray. We're going to pray something really unusual and different. Um I think one of the two most unusual services we've ever had here. One was I think about 25 years ago. And um it just got weird but in the best possible way. We had uh we had an a an experience and a story. An experience was that morning I had opened um I think it was a briefcase or something and there in front of me was uh I think it was actually like a backpack or something. There in front of me was a really nice expensive pair of binoculars that I had bought for when I travel. And uh and I had thought it was stolen out of a hotel room. And I had been missing it for 6 months, a year, long time. And it was there. And I I thought that was unusual. I was happy, but I thought it was unusual. Came to our staff prayer meeting before the service. And somebody there mentioned they just had something restored to them that had been lost for a long period of time. And I remembered Bobby Connor's story to us many years ago that uh became almost like a proverb or a a confession of faith or something. And it was he had received a knife that was given to him by uh Bob Jones. And Bob Jones gave him this very special knife. It was a treasure to him because of who he came from and he lost it. And he was in his hotel room and just really more out of frustration, he just blurted out, "I want my knife back and it fell out of the air onto the bed." All right, put your seat belts on because this is gonna get stranger. We so so we decided that those three things were an evidence that God wanted to restore lost things. And so we took the whole service just to go after stuff. I mean lost contracts, people received phone calls for real estate deals while they were sitting in the service. uh relationships uh wedding ring. One guy uh now this story went on for like um this went on for several months. So one guy lost his wedding ring and remembered Bobby's story, I want my knife back. He just blurted out, I want my wedding ring back. He left it somewhere. He woke up in the morning and it was on his finger. So, so I'm I I I know when I share stuff like this, there's a whole bunch of skepticism, and that's fine. You'd be skeptical. I'm going to enjoy the fun stuff. We back in December, I had a interesting experience. I was standing down here. We had actually I think it was November. Anyway, we had uh a bunch of uh about 400 of our online students from Brazil and Argentina were here. And it was so so fun. And uh they were, you know, they would give me a coffee or chocolate or something. And so one of the guys went and got a bag for me so I could, you know, put it all in a bag and not have my arms full. And so we're just hanging out talking to the students. And it was fun. And one of the security guys said, "Bill, you want me to to take that bag, put it in your office, which they often help me with." And so I said, "Yeah, that would help me." So I I gave them the bag and in my hand where the bag was appeared a dime. And I thought that was rather strange. I would prefer a million dollars, but a a dime is a good start. Actually, I prefer the dime. And I'll tell you why. It had such prophetic significance for me. I didn't know what it was, but signs are supposed to make you wonder. If you have it all figured out, you may have a God your size. It's supposed to be mysterious. So, that was a Friday. Sunday morning, we met as a staff in the office complex and prayed together for the day. and and I mentioned this strange experience of a dime appearing. Not even looking for an explanation, just thought I'd share a funny story. And Lesie said, "I just heard the phrase, turn on a dime, and I realize I've got a number of situations in my life that I need to turn on a dime." How many of you familiar with that phrase, turn on, it's an instant turnaround of a difficult situation? How many of you have something that you'd like to see turn on a dime? All right, we're going to go for it. We're We're just going to go for it. Let me ask you this. How many of you have lost something that you would like to find again? Now, it may be an item, a wedding ring, it a knife. I don't care what it is. It could be a job. It could be an inheritance that was stolen from you. >> Are you listening? >> I I've been reading Job for the last month. or so. Um, I've never I I I read through the Bible and I read through Job and I just for me I just endure Job until chapter 42. Then I enjoy it. But I have been enjoying going through the story and um and this is the only time in my life when I finished Job. I went back started it again. So I'm going back to back on Job and who knows how many times I'll read it before I quit. But I I'm enjoying I'm enjoying I don't know why I'm enjoying the story. And you come to the last chapter and all of his friends gave him such horrible advice. They uh they just were cruel. And and Job actually told him, he said, "Listen, if you were in trouble, I would speak words of comfort to you. I would lift you up, but it's not what you're doing to me." And uh and he he was just really honest. Then we get to the last chapter and the Lord tells all of Job's friends, "Go to Job and have him pray for you because I've accepted him." What does that imply on on his friends? You You need to go through somebody I'm listening to because right now I'm not listening to you. And Job prayed for his friends. And it says God restored everything he lost twofold when he prayed for his friends. So I just have this sense that the God of restoration tonight is going to initiate literally a series of events where you will see things that were lost or broken get healed or restored. Relationships with family members. It could be uh uh employment. It could be any number of things. How many of you can think of something that you really need God to restore? Put your hand up. I want to see who you are. All right. All right. Here's what I'm going to have you do. I believe that this topic for tonight is initiated of the Lord. I I wouldn't take the risk for this uh without it. And so I believe that the Lord is going to do miracles. Some before you leave the meeting, but others of you throughout the week. I want you to turn to person on your right or left and just ask them real briefly, "What do you want restored?" Just ask them real quick and then we're going to pray together. What do you want restored? Ask somebody. All All right. I want you to do is I want you to grab grab their hand. Grab a hand with somebody. Just grab a hand with somebody and I want you to pray. I want you to ask the the God of restoration. All of you that are online, join us in this cuz I believe we're going to hear story after story of miraculous restorations. So, grab a hand, begin to pray that the Lord would restore. And I want you to declare it over them. The God of restoration restores all that has been lost, all that has been stolen. Okay? Pray that prayer of faith for them to experience a situation that would turn on a dime where God would restore all Thank you Lord. Thank you, Lord. All right. You did good. Now, just just face this direction for one quick moment. We're going to we're going to end this. All right. You did good. We don't have time to pursue this tonight, but I I really want to encourage you. Please give us the reports, the stories. All right, but here's what I want you to do. David and his mighty men had everything they owned stolen, including their wives and children. It was the lowest point in David's life and all of his associates. They were they actually wept until they had no more strength to weep. That's how how fatigued they were. And he asked the Lord and the Lord said, "Pursue your enemy. You will recover all." >> I want you to look at the person you prayed with. Look at them in the eyes and say, "You will recover all. You will recover all." Amen. Amen. Amen. All right. You did good. Turn to bless one another. Go ahead and find your places. Happy Sunday everybody. How are we doing? Are we doing well? Guys, can we thank the worship team for leading us in worship? We're so thankful for you. And we had a special guest, Zarya, with us tonight. She is a friend of the house, but we are so thankful for you. I know that she's off stage already, but we have some exciting announcements for you guys. How about you turn to the neighbor next to you and say, "You look so much better after that." I would love to know if it's anybody's first time with us at Bethl Church. Would you go ahead and raise your hand if it's your first time with us? I see you guys. Amazing. Welcome, welcome. We see you. There's a few hands back here. If you guys keep your hands raised, we have some ushers who are passing out a little handout. It's a discount off of our bookstore over here in the lobby. And also, you can fill out some information so that we can stay connected with you and pray over you guys this week. Woohoo. Well, we're so excited. Welcome. Um, if you are a BSSM student and you are going on missions this week, I actually, if you don't know, if you're watching online or if you're one of our online students, we send out about a thousand uh of our BSSM students all over the world. And this week, we go on missions. So, I actually, yes, go to the nations, which is so exciting. And so I just I just thought as a body we could cover some of those BSSM students uh just as they go. I know that they're going to get lots of prayer. They've gotten lots of prayer. But hey, prayer is powerful. And so we're going to just stand and declare over them. So if you're a BSSM student and you're going on missions somewhere around the world, can you stand for me? Thank you. Amazing. And why don't you just get around some of the students and lay your hands on them and you can just pray as I pray over them. Find somebody. I know there's lots of them. You guys can put your hands on each other as well. All right. Holy Spirit, I thank you God for where they are going. Lord, I thank you for the nations, the cities, um Lord, the countries that they are going to God. And I thank you that they will be agents of carrying your presence, God. I thank you that they will host your presence, Lord. And as they step foot into the land, Lord, I thank you, God, that there is going to be a shift in those nations, Lord, for people to come to know you, God, I ask and declare that through their mouth and through their obedience, Lord, they will lead people into salvation, into the kingdom of God. And Lord, I thank you, God, for sending them with uh grace and with breath, God, of your Holy Spirit. The wind of your Holy Spirit is with them, Lord. And I just thank you. I thank you, God, for each and every person, Lord, going. And I ask for our online students that there would be unity on these trips. We declare safety. I ask for just a safe haven around them, Lord. And I ask for the power of the Holy Spirit to fill them, to empower them, to be with them. And I ask for just your protection over them as they go in Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Why don't you just bless them? Well, whoa. Wow. Amazing. So cool. It is such a gift to have people go all over the world and to hear the testimonies and the fruit of that as it comes, which is so incredible. Well, I'm going to pass it off to the announcements to Jeremy Gonzalez. If you can welcome them up. >> All right, I'm going to take Ty and Offridge. Why don't you guys stand up? Should have just stayed standing. That's right. Hey, uh, obviously Bill had you guys pray for each other and Alyssa just had you guys pray for the BSM students. We're going for the hat-tick tonight because I'm going to have you guys pray for each other as well. Um, I felt like we're going to read offering reading number one. And tonight it wasn't about unison. It was about unity. That it wasn't just about us all saying the same words at the same time, but that we actually would contend for people who need to see those things come to pass in our lives. So, if you're in this room and you're saying, "Hey, I need a financial breakthrough. I need something to shift over my finances. um would you just raise your hand? Thank you. So, we're going to lay hands on them as well. Grab a hand, stretch a hand towards them. There's a lot of us. And we're also we're going to do two things at once. I got high faith in you guys. We're going to lay hands and we're also going to read this uh de declaration reading number one over them as well. So, we'll put that up there. Ready? Uh 1, two, 3. As we receive today's offerings, we are believing the Lord for jobs and better jobs, raises and bonuses, benefits, sales and commissions, favorable settlements, estates and inheritances, interest and income, rebates and returns, checks in the mail, gifts and surprises, finding money, debts paid off, expenses decreased, blessing and increase. Thank you, Lord, for meeting all of my financial needs that I may have more than enough to give into the kingdom of God and promote the gospel of Jesus Christ. >> Come on, sounds great. Hey, just uh play keep your hands on them for just a few more seconds. I'm going to pray. Uh, Father, I thank you for this this offering reading so much because it encapsulates what you do. >> You work through natural means and supernatural means. And I pray that we all would have the faith to believe for those that need better jobs, they would find them. That there would be wisdom released, Lord, to get out of debt, to acquire wealth, Lord, to to have creativity in business, God. Lord, I thank you for the supernatural means of finding money and checks in the mail. And we just however you're going to bless us, we know you're the source. And so, collectively, we just say in your name, amen. >> Amen. >> Thank you very much. You can pass the buckets. >> I'm I'll introduce you this first time in a long time, I think, here. Uh I I knew I knew I had the right leader that when I got hired almost nine years ago, we both cried in that interview. So um I have I have I have been under her leadership for nine years and I can say three things that have zero exaggeration attached to them. Uh she loves the Lord, she loves his word, and she loves his people. >> And uh it's such a treat and an honor to hear Leslie tonight. Won't you guys give up for Leslie? Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I love you guys. Oh, I love you guys. Thank you. Thank Thank you. Thank you. I love you. I love you guys. And I choked up because anytime Jeremy chokes up, I choke up. It's just I mean it is one of the few people who cried in an interview and I said we're hiring that guy. I just need to feel known sometimes. You know, you guys know my saying is cry preaching is called creaturing. I've coined it. I'm the only one who's ever said it. I don't have a lot of claim to fame other than I knew Taylor Swift as a child and preaching. Those are my two claim to fame. So, you guys uh ready to dive into the word of God? Did you guys know that you are in the top 1% of wealthiest people on earth? Did you know that? And I'm not talking about your wallet. Because wealth has very little to do with your bank account, if anything, actually. And tonight, I'm going to talk about the book of Ephesians. And my prayer is that when we leave this place, we will have a fuller understanding of how rich and wealthy we are in God. Amen. Father, I just thank you for your word. Holy Spirit, we need you to illuminate. We need you to open the eyes of our hearts so that we might fully see all that we have in Christ. In Jesus' name, amen. I shared this uh message a couple weeks ago in the 1pm and so Chris and Richie thought I should share it tonight and I'm going to add a little bit to it because I do want to end in prayer. You guys see the theme? It's time to pray. It always is. I mean I I'm always asking about that. But go with me to Ephesians 1. I love the book of Ephesians. How many Ephesians fans in here? Oh my goodness. It is not possible in 40 minutes to really unpackage all this, but I want to hopefully stir your spirit to go on a journey of diving deeper into the word of God and really uncovering all that we have in him. I have some slides tonight. You guys ready to have a teacher moment? >> Let's go. Slides. Go ahead and pull up. We're going to read uh Ephesians 1 together. And I have highlighted a few things that I want us to go through in just a moment. Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God. to the saints who are at Ephesus, who are faithful in Christ Jesus. I want to pause there. See, in Acts 19, hi sweetheart. There's just a child running around. And as a mom, you just have to stop. So, praise God. In Acts 19, we see the story of Paul bringing absolute revival to the city of Ephesus. Ephesus was one of the largest cities in the Roman Empire. Here you have the temple to Artemis, the goddess that they all were worshiping. This is an idolatrous city that Paul spent three years of his life. He turned the city of Ephesus upside down in such a way that it declares in Acts 19, go read it for yourself, that there was there was not one person in Asia Minor who had not heard the gospel. I don't know what we're doing with our lives, but just saying like that is insane. Paul for three years devoted himself to one city and he literally turned an entire city upside down. So much so that Demetrius, one of the main um goldsmiths of that time or silver smiths of that time, he came and he caused a riot. He caused an uproar because they were literally crashing the stock market of Ephesus by killing idolatry. And I want I this this is one of the most encouraging revelations I've had recently is that Jesus spent 30 years in preparation for three years of powerful ministry and the Apostle Paul only spent three years of Ephesus and turned the whole city upside down. Which means the best days of my life are ahead. The best three years of your life are ahead of you. Like what is possible in three years fully surrendered? This is this is like this new inspiration I'm having is yes I want to be faithful for the long haul but what would it look like if the next three years this is what I've given my life the next three years seeing signs and wonders so much so that an entire city isn't awakened to the reality of God and so this is the incredibly idolatrous nation Asia Minor that Paul is speaking to and Many years later, he's in a Roman prison and he pens these words to his dearly beloved people. He says, "To the saints who are Ephesus, who are the faithful ones in Christ Jesus, grace to you and peace from God our father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. Just as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless. Before him in love, he predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to himself according to the kind intention of his will. Believers, we are not here by happen stance. Every part of your life is actually the kind intention of the Lord. And if it's not, if it has a remnant of sin, it is because the redemption of Christ just needs to touch it and it will be redeemed to glorify him. Amen. To the praise of the glory of his grace which he freely bestowed on us in the beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished on us in all wisdom and insight. You know, God's wisdom causes him to be lavish with us. You ever meet somebody who's really quote unquote wise and yet they're the stingiest person, you know? But God's wisdom causes him to be lavish. That's crazy to me. He made known to us the mystery of his will according to his kind intention. You guys with me? Which he purposed in him with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of times. That is the summing up of all things in Christ. Things in the heavens and things on earth. In him you also have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to his purpose, who works all things after the counsel of his will to the end that we were the first to hope in Christ would be to the praise of his glory. Verse 13, in him, you guys catching a theme? in him. You also after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation, having also believed, you were sealed in him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance with a view of the redemption of God's own possession to the praise of his glory. I want go ahead and show the next slide. This is how rich you are. In him, you are a saint in Christ. In him, you have every spiritual blessing. In him, you are chosen. You can't even be rejected. >> In him, you are holy and blameless. In him, you are adopted as sons. In him, you are in the beloved. In him, you have redemption. In him, you have an inheritance. In him, we have salvation. And you and I are sealed in him. You and I are the wealthiest people on earth. We're not just the wealthiest people on earth. We're the wealthiest people in heavenly places. Because Paul would later explain that we aren't just here, but we are in heavenly places. Then we as believers, the more we can understand all that we have in him, the less we are aware of what we don't have. You ever feel like it's hard to comprehend the love of God, right? Like sometimes we have these these self-critical thoughts or these thoughts of condemnation or the lying spirit of accusation or the familiar spirit of judgment or slander, right? And and we get slimed by the spirits of this age, the spirit of this world. And Paul the apostle is giving the church of Ephesus their origin story because they, this is predominantly Greeks he's talking to. He's not talking to, you know, the Jewish people who have an origin of Yahweh. He is talking to people. 90% of this city are Greeks. Probably a lot of them are from all over the Roman Empire, brought even as slaves or traded. And so they're they're really from all over the empire. And he's saying, "Listen, all of these other gods, all of these other spirits that have been talking to you, the the forces of evil, the forces of magic, all of them are not your origin story. That is not your possession. You are God's possession. And before the foundation of the world, you were created to be in the beloved. You were created to be a part of a people that was chosen by God. How many of you have ever been overlooked? Guess what? That is an opportunity to step into what you have in him. I'm overlooked in my job. I'm over I'm not talking about myself. You might be overlooked. Bet jobs and better jobs. No, I was praying that for Jeremy, not for myself. Maybe I was just kidding. I really wasn't. But honestly, we we a lot of times we we look at these prayers and we only appropriate them to our earthly experience into what if we actually began to believe from the heavenly realm and our earthly experience shifted just because our heavenly perspective shifted. >> That is what Paul is saying. He's literally in prison and he is teaching a people how to be above their circumstances. How to be above what they are currently experiences in experiencing in this culture that is literally wanting to kill them. In fact, they do they persecute the church at crazy levels. And I think that even what's happening uh how do I say this? There is something that is refining in persecution. There is something refining when we have to actually use boldness by faith to stand up for what is righteous. There's something that is refining when we stand in the righteousness of Christ, not our own righteousness. And we shine differently. This is why I'm convinced that when we live out the biatitudes, you will be salt and light because you will naturally look different when you are humble and meek and hungry and thirsty for righteousness and not the things of the earth. The the natural overflow will be of righteousness in Christ. It's so important that as his children, as his believers, we lock into all of the inheritance that he paid for. How many here you would love a crazy inheritance? >> Like honestly, I think we all would, right? I I really don't love praying or offering reading sometimes of inheritances because does that mean my parents have to die? No, that's not actually what that means is that we um myself I should say I can get really distracted by looking at what what seems to be not possible instead of being calibrated in the in him which makes all things possible. If I have a reality that I have every spiritual blessing in him, then I really am not concerned about the blessings I don't have in him because I'm now consumed by being blessed and chosen in him. It's it's it's you ever meet Chuck Perry? Chuck Perry is quite possibly one of my favorite humans is because when I look at Chuck Perry, for me, he is a picture of a person who's given himself into full adoption. I've never seen a person more adopted than Chuck Barry. like he walks around with such a a a spirit of adoption on him which means it's impossible to not feel loved by Chuck. >> You can't it's not even possible to feel distanced or rejected by Chuck Perry because he carries such a a adopted in him that you all felt have felt it. Raise your hand if you've ever felt it. Like, see, I mean, like, this is this is extraordinary. Is to be so consumed by Christ and and the one aspect of an inheritance that Chuck knows that he is fully God's son and he releases the spirit of adoption everywhere he goes. I want to ask you, what is the inheritance you're clinging on to right now? What is the aspect of being in him? him. I mean, I want you to make it personal. Is it one when you look at this incredible, it's not just a list. These are the promises of God that we have in him. What is the one thing you would say that's the one area I want God to consume me in right now? I want God to consume me being saved in him. I want God to consume me being chosen in him. I want God to consume me to to understand what it means to be a saint in him. Go ahead, ask the Holy Spirit. Ask the Holy Spirit, what is the one area, God, that you want to consume me in you right now? Thank you, God. Thank you, God. I want you guys to go with me to verse seven again. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses according to the riches of his grace. And see, God loves being wealthy. God thoroughly enjoys his abundant nature. God thoroughly loves humanity that he created us in order to display his generosity. I love um I love this one really powerful thought is that God who is self-contained and self-sufficient, he needs nothing yet he desires relationship. And his abundance is so extravagant that he created humanity to demonstrate his nature. And he created eternity in order to demonstrate his nature over and over and over again like that. That's where there is no limit to his nature. >> Therefore, we just have to get better at receiving what has been made available. At least this has been the journey of my life is not just becoming a woman of faith but a woman that it receives faith from God. >> And if I can learn how to grow my capacity in receiving, then I will actually access the faith that will then bring heaven to earth. And see this is I read this at the leaders conference and I since then I've had so many people ask me what book it is. thought, man, I should read it again. This is Watchmen knee, sit, walk, stand. This is about how rich and wealthy God is and how abundant his grace is towards us. Like, if you're lacking anything tonight, if you're lacking anything online, guess what? Your father wants to actually give it to you. Watchman knee who spent 27 years in a Chinese prison says this. God is so wealthy that his chief delight is to give. His treasure stores are so full that it is pain to him when we refuse him an opportunity of lavishing those treasures upon us. It was the father's joy that he could find in the prodical son an applicant for the robe, the ring, the shoes, and the feast. It was his sorrow that in the elder son he found no such applicant. It is grief to the heart of God when we try to provide things for him. For he is so very very rich. It gives him true joy when we just let him give and give and give again to us. It is grief to him when we try to do things for him for he is so very very able. Does that make sense church? like how rich and abundant. I don't know. I don't know that I have to be provoked to love God when I understand how rich he is towards me. You ever been told to be hungry? I'm serious. We're It's It's It's sometimes in a beautiful way. We we get provoked. But a lot of times when I watch how lavish God is on Miss Tanya, that provokes my hunger to know the lavishness of God. When when Bill was talking about all the different answered prayer, turning on a dime, like we had specific things that we were believing for and in that season to turn on the dime, it was like miraculous. Couldn't have made that happen. I can't share what those are because they're private, but you have to know is that when we partner with the lavishness of the of the Lord and we actually ask in prayer, it is his chief delight to answer prayer. It it he loves when his people ask of him because we're literally asking what he is so willing to give. Especially if any of you is lacking peace, if you're lacking joy, if you're lacking understanding in his nature, if you're lacking in any area of your life, it might even be practical, right? I have a story. I've told this story so many different times, but it really does demonstrate the nature of the father. Uh a couple years ago, about six years ago, my father called me to rebuke me. How many you've heard this story about my father? Only a few of you. Okay. Uh, my father called me to rebuke me and he said, "Leslie, I would love to give more to you, but you never ask me." I said, "What?" He said, "Yeah, your sister asks me all the time." And I have three sisters, so we won't reveal who it is, but I know I know which one it is. And uh and so my father says, "Yeah, I I feel like you've done really you've done a good job, but I would enjoy giving more to you if you would just ask." And I was like, "Oh my gosh, yes, God. Yes, Lord. Thank you, Lord." So, I hang up the phone. Couple months goes by and a need arises in our life where we need a lot of money for something. My son was traveling all over for basketball and it was costing lots of money. And I said, "I have an idea. So, we'll call grandpa. So, I get on the phone. I said, "Hey, Dad, remember how you said I could ask you for money? You He said, "Yes." I said, "I need this amount of money." And he said, "Are you sure?" I said, "Yeah, that that'll be it. I I can I'll Tom and I'll be able to take care of the rest. I just need this amount." And he goes, "I'm going to ask you again, how much money do you need?" And I said, "Dad, I only need this much. I'm telling you, we'll be fine." He said, "Let me ask you one more time. how much do you need? And I told him, he goes, "Okay, this is the final time. I'm going to tell you." And I tell him, and he says, "Okay, checks in the mail." So about 5 days later, I go out to the mailbox with my little key. I open it. There it is. My mother's handwriting because she always writes the checks. And I open it up and it is double the amount that I asked for. And I hear the scripture in Matthew 5. If you being evil fathers know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your father give to those who ask him? And I'm just overwhelmed with gratitude. Of course, I call my parents. I thank them. He said, "Well, I figured Addie would probably need something, too." So, he just was thinking abundantly. He wasn't thinking I'm only going to give to the measure that you ask. He gave above even the measure that I asked. And it changed my perspective even on involving my earthly father in my life is because even though I can provide for them my life, my father still wants to be involved in helping his daughter in this. How much more do we limit what God's availability to us when we even maybe you've been serving the Lord for a long time and when you were just coming to Christ you needed him for everything. You needed him to your parking space. You needed him to pick out the clothes you were going to wear that day. You needed him for every single decision. But now that you're mature and you can take care of yourself as a Christian, you might have stopped to ask God to lavish you with your inheritance. Maybe you I mean this is what I was doing. I literally was doing it and I didn't even know it until I received and God woke me up to limiting how much I was receiving from him by just a simple act of my own father. See, God is so rich that he wants to wake us up to his abundance. Amen. We're going to do some ministry in just a moment, but I want us to go, this is how I want to end tonight because I want us I want to spend a lot of time actually going after some ministry. Go with me to the end of Ephesians. So, Ephesians, well, no, let before we go there, I have to read this. I'm so sorry. Ephesians 1 verse 18, Paul launches into this powerful prayer and he says, "I pray that the eyes of your heart will be enlightened so that you will know what is the hope of his calling, what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints." Go ahead and pull up that next slide about the riches of God. See, God is rich in grace. God is rich of inheritance. God is rich in mercy. He is rich in his grace in kindness towards us. God is unfathomable. The riches of Christ and the riches of his glory. These are the riches of God that we get to participate in. And it says, "Now I pray, verse 18 again, that the eyes of your heart will be enlightened so that you will know what is the hope of his calling, what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of his power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of his might." Bethl Church. I think it's such an important hour that we as his body maybe adjust. This is what my husband and I have been talking about at length is that sometimes we relegate the message of the gospel for those who are not yet saved. And I would say the message of the gospel is for all. The gospel of the kingdom is in salvation, but it's also hope. It is the favorable year of the Lord. It's to open blind eyes. It's to set captives free. It's to bring healing and deliverance. Amen. And so, when we understand the message of the gospel, we're not just talking about those who are far away. We're talking about all of us. And we need that enlightening of our eyes to see the riches of the gospel, to see the riches of grace, to understand the riches of his mercy, to understand the riches of being chosen in him. And tonight, maybe you're here in maybe you're not bankrupt. but your account has felt kind of low. And I'm just here to encourage us and just remind us these are things most of you in this room know it's it's not necessarily profound. It's the simple that's the simple word of God that all that we have access to. How much are we accessing what is made available? I would say for me this is this has been challenging to to not just read the word but to let the word transform how I'm experiencing his very nature, his very presence. Amen. Maybe you're in this place and you feel like your mind is always buzzing and and you just need his perfect peace. You need the riches of his mercy to touch you. Maybe you're in this place and you're not quite in the fullness of healing in your body and and you just need a reminder to keep going that the riches of his mercy is for you. Does that make sense? How many of you It's good to be reminded. We get amnesia sometimes. We forget. The last thing I want to hit on is in Ephesians 6. Because Paul takes this letter on an incredible journey of all that we have in Christ. We're seated with him in heavenly places. We are God's dwelling place. We are his household. We are no longer separated as Jews and Gentiles. We are one house. that he teaches the church of Ephesus how to walk in him, how to walk in the light, how to be imitators of God, walk in love, teaches the family codes, how to operate in submission and love for one another. And then he closes his letter, which is how we're going to close tonight, is finally be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the full armor of God so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Remember, he is speaking to a place that worships the goddess Artemis. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, having done everything to stand firm. Stand for firm, therefore, having girded your loins with truth and having put on the breastplate of righteousness. And Paul, we're going to read through the whole armor of God, but I want you guys to see this is that he is taking almost the entire armor of God from the Messiah's armor that is described in Isaiah 11 and Isaiah 59. So when he is speaking this, he's speaking the same armor that the Messiah is clothed in, you as his children are clothed in this armor. He didn't make up this new armor after the Roman guards. He is talking about he's I I'll read it straight from so that you understand. Sorry I'm getting ahead of myself. Therefore for take up the full armor of God so that you will be able to resist in the evil day having done everything to stand firm. Stand firm therefore having girding your loins with truth and put on the breastplate of righteousness. This is Isaiah 11:5. For also righteousness will be a belt around him. This is speaking of the Messiah and faithfulness about his waist. And stand firm have and you will have your feet sh wow shaw with the feet of the preparation of the gospel of peace. In addition to all of this, take up the shield of faith which which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. and take the helmet of salvation, the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. With all prayer and petition, pray at all times in the spirit. And with this in view, be on alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints. and pray on my behalf that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel for which I am an ambassador in chains that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly as I ought to speak. Here is a man the Apostle Paul in prison already in chains for preaching the gospel. And what is his final prayer is he's asking the church to pray that he will have more boldness in preaching the gospel. That is amazing. And tonight I want us to stand up in the armor of God. And for some of you, you have been believing for promises for so long. You've been weakened. But you just got to stand. You just got to stand in his faithfulness and actually begin to pray bold prayers. Actually, I'm going to implore you, Bethl Church, it is not time to pray faithless prayers. It is time to actually take the shield of faith and to declare with faith bold prayers of faith. Paul is in chains and he's saying that pray that you would be fitted with this incredible armor and pray that I would have even more boldness to declare the gospel of truth because that is the most important thing that I could declare. He didn't write about all his sorrows. He wasn't writing about all his hard times and getting everyone to pity him. Like this is so challenging for us in our American mindset. I can't speak for other nations. I can only speak as an American. But for us, it's challenging when we are met with the price that was paid as the foundation of our faith. It was one that that laid their lives down so that that the church could go on. And in this era, we must do our part to pay the price in boldness and pray bold prayers of faith so that we have something to pass on to the next generation. Amen. >> Amen. >> And so, what is your bold prayer of faith tonight? What is the thing that that if you could ask God knowing that he would answer, what would you pray? What would you pray? See, I have a prayer that I have prayed for decades now. Decades. I have not yet seen it, but I know that the best three years of my life are ahead. And I have one prayer that I have prayed continually ever since I heard of the hees revival is that the presence of God would come upon a city in such a way that the awareness of God would waken the consciousness of a whole people. I have not yet seen this, but it is my it is what I give myself to prayer to is I love to pray for a lot of things, but probably the main thing I pray for is God that the awareness of a city would be awakened that there be a God consciousness come on an entire region. Like what would that look like? I just want to know what I I've seen a lot of crazy things, but I've never seen that yet. And it's happened in church history. And so I would like to see it again, God. It doesn't even have to happen through me. I just want to see it. I just want to hear of a city where an entire region is awakened to the God consciousness. That is the thing I ask the Lord for. What is the thing you are asking the Lord for? What is the thing that knowing God's rich in his mercy knowing that everything that you need has already been provided for you? All that you uh all the peace, all the joy, all the circumstances, all of that has already been settled. So what is the prayer that you need boldness to actually pray? Is this is this making sense? And uh a couple months ago when we were having all of these children healed of um what's the word they don't inability to speak but there's a term non-verbal non thank you Lord uh at the backpack giveaway it was the first time we saw this not just in the recent times there was a child healed of non-verbal then all of a sudden it began to break out in our children's ministry where I think now up to 10 kids have been healed of non-verbal and it happened in a really short Yeah, you can give God praise for that. It's really cool. In fact, the the little child who got healed at the backpack giveaway, the first thing she said is, "I am important." Wow. And so the Lord I woke up. I didn't I wasn't even thinking about this. I literally the Lord woke me up from sleep a few months ago and he said I'm g I am healing Bethl's um language to to you know when he says something to you but he doesn't say it in exact words. He woke me up and as I woke up he said I am healing Bethl's language to pray things they have not yet seen. It was that like that nonverbal healing where kids couldn't talk but now they can talk. And he's giving us new words to pray. >> He's giving us new words to pray and healing our nonverbal communication in prayer. Does that make sense? And so, man, I just Oh my god. Thank you, sweetie. Children I can't wait to be a grandma one day. But uh and so I just want to implore us to get possessed with already being settled in our inheritance and knowing that we have a generous rich father who wants to answer prayer and knowing that we can stand girded and and and in our battle form. arm. What do we want to pray? If you could ask a your rich heavenly father for anything, what would you ask him for? Because my hope is that we would all ask him for what is not possible unless he does it. Amen. >> So, this is how we're going to end tonight. Dylan, you can join me. Go ahead and stand. He's giving us new language in prayer, church. He's giving us new words of faith to speak, knowing it's on his heart to believe for. Thank you, God. So, right now across this place, just go ahead and close your eyes. Thank you, God. God, we do ask for boldness. We do ask God for a gift of faith to come on our house. We ask for a gift of faith. Open the eyes of our heart that we might see with the eyes of faith, God. Thank you, God. Thank you, God. Holy Spirit that you would right now begin to touch your kids with faith right now. Touch your children. Impart the faith of God to your kids in Jesus name. Thank you God. Thank you God. For some of you, you've been really weary at believing for something for so long and you've gone mute in your prayer closet and the Lord wants to heal your muteness. and and and asking him again. It's time to ask again. It's time to believe again. It's time to have hope again. For some of you, you've been believing for that that partner in life and and he he needs to awaken that hope in you. For some of you, you've been believing for a family and he wants to awaken that hope in you. For some of you, you've been believing, you know, for for for God to use you in signs and wonders, then start praying for the sick. Whatever it is, just begin to ask. If the Lord's just revealing stuff to pray for, just keep praying. Let it let it be doesn't have to be loud, but spoken. Start to make requests. While we do that, I just felt like there's a group of people who that is disappointment or loss in your past that is still has a a voice in your life. And it's it's the the loss is like you could still argue is God good? And it's it's caused a measure of disappointment that maybe you just still have not yet to break free of or or to to fully could I could God's promises actually feel safe again? And if that's you, I want you just in some way to respond, whether that's step out into the aisle or or come forward or just in any way. Um, and I feel like God wants to break disappointment off of your life that is going to reignite dreaming again with the father. Thank you, Lord. If if someone has a hand raised next to you, I want you just can just lay a hand on them. if we can have some of our staff just come pray for the people up front. Thank you, Jesus. and you guys can just open up your hands. And um I just for everyone standing, I I I just see the compassion of the Lord drawing in close. I I don't see the Lord judging the the journey, the pain of what you experienced, but I see him drawing close, my son, my daughter. That that was not my perfect plan for you. But yet I am a God who always restores. And so by the authority of Jesus Christ over everyone standing, we break the power of disappointment in their lives. God, we pull out any sting of the enemy that has spoken to them saying that they cannot believe God is truly good. Lord, we pray even for uh the effects of trauma still speaking to their future. We break that by the power of Jesus and we say it's a new day of dreaming. Father, we bless their minds with your thoughts for them that you have a plan and a hope for their future. Plans to prosper them, not to harm them. And Lord, we break off uh any agreement that they made with this disappointment, Lord, that that this is a part of their future. >> Thanks, God. Thanks, God. I just had this thought that I don't know if this has ever happened to you, but you ever like pretend or imagine that a wealthy relative you didn't know you had all of a sudden you got a phone call you just inherited a million dollars cuz we don't play the lottery. So, you know what I'm saying? But you begin to imagine the house that you would buy if you inherited that. You begin to imagine the car that you would pick out. You you would imagine this whole new life if you had xyz amount of money, right? You ever done that before other than me? Okay, raise your hand. Honest people, you dream when you know what is available or even what is possible. And so right now, if you if this is for all of us, especially those who answer this thing, I want you to right now just begin to dream what it looks like to have hope again, to have faith again, to dream about what you look and feel like clothed in Christ, because that's the reality of who you are. That is actually the reality of your inheritance. You get to dream again. It's it's one of the main indicators that we're operating in faith is that our our imagination for what is possible begins to reach for what is possible. Amen. I love Andrew Wulmarmac. He talks about how he before he ever raised anybody from the dead, he would literally visualize himself laying hands on people that are dead because he was exercising faith before he saw it in reality. This is what Paul's talking about is the eyes of our heart in order to see. And so right now in Jesus' name, we let go of disappointment, you are not protecting me. Any spirit that is is been lying to you over the nature of God in Jesus' name. We break partnership with and we invite the spirit of truth to come and create in us true reality, which is your promises, your faithfulness, God. your abundance, your mercy, your grace, God. And we receive fresh eyes of faith to see promise, to see promise. To see promise, to see promise, to see dreams. Thank you, God. Thank you, God. To see the impossible in Jesus name. Thank you, God. Thank you, God. As we're going to spend the next few moments, I want you to turn to the person next to you and you're going to pray for each other to have bold prayers of faith. We're going to pray like Paul. Paul said, "Even though I'm in chains, pray that I speak boldly. Even though my circumstances look like I can't, I need prayer to speak boldly." Go ahead and ask for boldness. Ask for boldness. Go ahead. We need boldness, church. We need boldness in prayer. We need boldness in prayer. Thank you, God. Thank you, God. Prayers of faith. Thank you, God. Thank you, God. Yeah. Pray for a spirit of boldness to come on our movement to believe for the impossible. Pray your own personal life would be infused with the boldness of God. It's not hype. It's not It's a gift of faith. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Eyes of faith. Eyes of faith. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Give us a new lens. Give us a new lens. Eyes to see. Eyes to see. Thank you, God. Thank you, God. Thank you, God. Eyes to see our marriage thriving. Eyes to see our children back in the family. Eyes to see our co-workers healed. Eyes to see the hardest person that you work with come to Christ in Jesus' name. Thank you God. Give us bold prayers. Bold prayers God. Thank you God. Thank you God. Thank you, God. Lord, I thank you that you promised, "Ask of me and I will give you the nations as an inheritance." God, we're asking for the nations as our inheritance. God, we're asking for whole countries. God, we thank you for the entire country of Iran. We dedicate it to you, Jesus. God, we thank you that you will give unto us whole nations. God, we thank you for Australia. We ask God that you would give us the nation of Australia in Jesus' name as our inheritance, God, for your glory in Jesus' name. Thank you, God. Thank you, God. Thank you, God. If you've if you believe, say yes and amen. >> Amen. God bless you guys. You can thank Lesie, but you can continue receiving. It is good to be in the house of the Lord together. And you were not in this room tonight by accident. It was very much on purpose. I've been reflecting um as I meet people what a gift it is to be here when you have riches that pour out of a woman who has devoted her life. What a gift. What a gift. What a gift. I think we'll close a little differently tonight. If you uh need prayer, if you need healing, if you need covering, just lift your hand. There are students who are about to go out to the nation and you're surrounded by a community that loves you. Uh church, look around. If there's somebody with a hand raised a little bit, don't be shy. Just go for it. Please go to them and pray over them. Ask ask them what they need. And I think the word for us as we get ready to leave tonight is receive. That is the word that landed so deeply in my heart to receive. So thank you for being with us. Bless you church online church. We are so glad that you are with us this evening. Uh we love you so much church family. Go in peace. Good night. >> Hello. Hello. What a word. >> Wow. So good. Grateful for Leslie. >> I'm so grateful for Lesie. >> It's amazing. >> I mean she's carrying something for our house. >> Yes. It felt so timely. >> Mhm. Bill um released a word back um a few months ago and he said that this would be 12 months of answered prayer. >> Wow. >> And do you guys remember he said it would be like Christmas. We would have 12 months of Christmas. He did he did one time say 12 years but he meant 12 months. But either way 12 months of Christmas. But the key to that is answered prayer. And I felt like Leslie unlocked us to actually pray again. Pray with ferveny. Pray from that place of desperation. Pray from weakness. Pray from that place of God, I've had disappointment in the past, but I'm still going to contend. I'm still going to believe. I'm going to ask. And I found myself standing up there like, Jesus, you know, you know, the deepest prayers of my heart. And I feel an invitation to ask, to actually open up my mouth, to start partnering with it, and to start speaking it out. And I believe that so many others are feeling the same way. If that's you, why don't you be bold? Why don't you write it in the chat? What are you praying for? What are you believing for? It could be small. Even I love when Leslie was like, the the prayer I have is for um a city to be awakened. And I was like, I I want to build a family. And I was like, it's not the same. But at the same time, I'm like, there's no comparison. This is the deepest prayer in my heart. And I don't want to let us compare of if you're not saying God, I want to see revival in my city, but you're saying, I want to see my child healed or I want to see my marriage restored. Whatever it is, I actually want us to build faith. And so, if you're able to um if you're watching this back later, tell somebody or say it out loud just right now, wherever you are, just begin to boldly ask. Come before him and ask. >> But why don't you write it down in the chat? Is there anything that you were sensing, Dom, even when talking to you about? >> Yeah, I just feel stirred. Um, such a beautiful message. She preached the gospel, Leslie, and um, just felt so convicted. Even >> I was reminded of prayers that I prayed in um, for my high school. And so, I even get a sense if there's anyone watching that you're in college or you're in high school, praying that your entire class would have the um, awareness of God, the God consciousness that that even Leslie was talking about a city having. I I just want to believe that college campuses and high schools um I was praying bold prayers back in the day. So I was just stirred even tonight of like man I want to get back Lord give me boldness uh once again to preach the gospel and to also pray the prayers for uh my wherever I am. And so if that's you, if you're on a college campus or if you're in a high school, I want to encourage you to pray those prayers that God can come and and absolutely, you know, transform this the school, every single student, every single person that's on there, even if it's not a Christian college. >> Um I I can see Sheila is believing and waiting for reconciliation and a broken relationship >> for over two years now. >> Come on. Some of you are waiting for a long time. You're praying for your boss to come to Christ. I saw someone else. Um, being able to provide and build a family, salvation for your kids. >> Oh my gosh. Healing of cyst and back. I mean, there are some wild things, you guys. Some of you are are praying for your uh kids to come home to the Lord. Um, financials, a new car. This is what I love about coming before God. You can you can cry out and say, "God, I want to see my entire university come to know Christ." You could be crying out and saying, "I want to see my entire neighborhood. I want to see a nation impacted for Jesus." And at the exact same time, >> you can say, "Jesus, I want to see my daughter come home." >> Yes. >> Jesus, I I I need a I need an upgrade in my job. Jesus, I need whatever it is. And this is what I love about the Lord is you can ask him anything. >> Yes, >> you can ask anything in his name. And so, we are believing with you guys. I'm seeing these prayer requests of healing in in eyes and um praying against degeneration, debts to be paid off. We're praying um in areas multiple of you are struggling with cysts. And so right now, we just pray um that any cysts would be healed in Jesus name that those things would um even in a a in an easy way. They would like pop but be released that it wouldn't be like a um a hard um painful combustion, but it would actually be peaceful. And so any places we just speak healing in life. >> I just want to pray for people that are tired and their spirit is weary. Um and maybe you've been praying for years and years and years and you haven't seen the breakthrough. And like Leslie spoke about tonight that there would just be this renewed, refreshed um hunger to pray these prayers and to continue to to uh yeah, just pray these things that you maybe haven't seen breakthrough in that you've been praying for a long time. and people that have stopped praying, I pray that there would be language and that there would just be Yeah. the spirit of God would just uh continue to fan that flame. Uh even if it's felt like it's been smoldered of um your prayer life has been just smoldering versus like on fire that there would just be a refreshed fire and a refreshed renewed um hunger to pray the prayers that you have that and that you're believing God for. So >> so good. I can feel so much life as you pray that. I'm like, "Oh, there's joy bubbling up." Even if you've had dry spaces in times to encounter God or even while you're reading the word, I just saw joy springing up in places where it feels like, "Ah, it's hard for me to even get in my secret place. It's hard for me to be inspired in the word of God." Maybe you could try reading Ephesians and you can read through what Leslie preached through tonight. But I I just sense that there will be a an uprising of joy in places where it's felt dead. It's felt lifeless. Oh, Jesus is doing so much. I know so many of you are praying um or asking for God to move in such a way and we're just saying yes and amen. Yeah. >> If that's you on the chat, maybe God is already beginning to touch you. What I loved about what Bill released during worship close is that he was talking about things turning on a dime. That means it's quick. It can happen in a moment. And so some of these things are are long-standing prayers and we've been contending for years and years and some things turn on a dime and maybe um you're even noticing on your body something shifting. If that's you, if all of a sudden you check your Venmo and you've got money or whatever it is, God can do something in a moment. And so we just want to celebrate with you. If you've got any testimonies, you can throw those in the chat for us, too. You can send those to our team. team. I think our our chat hosts can help you know where to send testimonies, but we love celebrating what God is doing. It feels um like such a joy to get to partner with what the Lord is doing. I um I actually wondered um I know several people are asking that their kids would actually come to know Jesus. And I know we didn't do an altar call yet in the service, but if that's you and it's it's yourself, maybe you found yourself on this YouTube. I'm going to ask you to pray in just a second just so you're not like, "Oh, God, what is she asking?" Um, but if that's you and you're like, "You know what? I found myself here and I'm not even sure if Jesus would accept me. Jesus would redeem me. Jesus would save me." Let me tell you, he would. >> You are never too far gone for um the blood of Jesus to pay for your sins, to wash you completely clean, to bring you into the family of God. And so, um, if that's you and you've been far from him or maybe you've just turned away and you want to say yes to Jesus again, you want to say, "Jesus, would you be my Lord and Savior, you can say yes and and just pray along with us." So, John, would you just pray if if that's you, you can write, "It's me. That's me in the chat. I need Jesus." We'd love to just pray with you to not only give your life to uh to Jesus, but also to be filled with the Holy Spirit. And so, Dom, why don't you just lead us? >> Absolutely. Yeah. Lord, we thank you that um yeah, we thank you for drawing hearts and drawing us to you. Um even if there's anyone that's just somehow hopped onto this live stream and they don't know how they got here, but we thank you that you have drawn them here, that you draw all men to you. And so we just thank you for what you did on that cross. We confess that we were once sinners >> and that we need you. We need a savior. >> Yeah. >> And so we Lord ask that you would come into our hearts that you would absolutely transform us from the top of our head to the bottom of our feet. Lord would you make your home in us. We thank you, Lord, for wherever people are in their journey that you'd come close. We ask, Lord, that you would um just put people around them that are Christians. I ask that you would even open up doors for churches. Maybe there's people that are lonely that that don't have the community and the fellowship. God, I pray that you draw people around them. >> Yes. For those that are receiving Jesus for the first time, I pray that you would just baptize them in your fire. Pray from the top of their head to the bottom of their feet that they'd feel the peace and the shalom of God. Right. Even right now over this live stream, we thank you that you are close to those that are with a broken heart. That you are close to those who call upon your name. So even right now as people are calling upon your name, I pray that you would rush in in Jesus' name. >> Come on. We see a couple of you are responding. We just welcome you into the family of God. Um we've got people who would love to pray for you. Just even on the chat, you can just welcome them in. Pray for them knowing that this relationship with Jesus is forever. Yeah. >> It's not just a one-time decision that we make, but we get to walk with him every day in the midst of the good, the bad, the ugly, and the redeemed parts of it all. >> And encouragement would be if that was you, >> find a Bible. Yes. >> And start reading. Ephesians is a great book to start reading. That's the message that was preached tonight. Um, but find a Bible, find community, and find a good church, a Bible believing church. That's right, guys. We love you so much. We pray this would be a week filled with encounters, answered prayers, and love. We love you. Have a great week. See?
